Apparently there has been some confusion about how to find a Mexican neighborhood. Let's begin by starting with a pickup truck, Astro Van, or Buick regal with straight lace wire wheels. Usually there will be more passengers than seatbelts in the vehicle. On the back window of the vehicle should be a Piolin sticker or a Raider nation decal. The vehicle will usually be leaving a liquor store around 10:00 am with a 30 pak of beer in the backseat between Efrain and Romero. It;s before lunch so they should be pretty buzzed by now while driving without a license or insurance. On the radio they bought at the swap meet in Santa fe Springs last weekend will be Vicente Fernandez or Joan Sebastian. As they drive into the 'hood you will see Juanita and Rosa pushing a stroller each while getting exercise for the babies they are expecting. This is as they are walking home from the carniceria where they cashed their checks at a 15% interest rate charged by a fellow Mexican brother. As they approach the house with cars parked on the lawn, you will see Anna, Olga, and Josefina standing in front discussing the quincinera for their fifteeth birthday and also discussing what hospital they are going to have the baby they are expecting (at no cost of course). On the sidewalk and telephone pole should be the local gang insignia. On the front porch in front of the cars on the grass will be Beto, Luis, and Chato in traditional wife beater and raider shirts. Next to the porch is a 47 chevy covered by a tarp that belongs to Uncle Carlos who is due to be released from Chino in the next 60 days for parole violations. Watch out for the pitbull between the cars and porch to protect those fine automobiles. Usually there will be a mexican flag hanging on the porch next to a couch and refrigerator. Big steel screen doors are also typical along with bars on the windows. Chain link and wrought iron fences with ornamental iron may be seen in the more affluent areas. If you can't find this neighborhood, you are NOT a Mexican.
