WHERE ARE ILLEGALS NOT ABOVE THE LAW? THERE ARE MILLIONS OF THEM IN LOS ANGELES (NOT THE THOUSANDS IN JAILS) THAT ARE WORKING WITH STOLEN SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS, EMPLOYED BY EMPLOYERS THAT ILLEGALLY HIRE ILLEGALS.
NANCY PELOSI HAS LONG ILLEGALLY HIRED ILLEGALS AT HER NAPA WINERY.
DIANNE FEINSTEIN HAS LONG HIRED ILLEGALS AT HER S.F. HOTEL.

THE FASTEST GROWING POLITICAL POWER IN AMERICAN IS NOT ACORN, OR THE TEA BAGGERS. IT IS LA RAZA! “THE RACE”, THE MEXICAN FASCIST POLITICAL PART FOR MEXICAN SUPREMACY.

REALITY ON MEXICAN ILLEGALS ABOVE THE LAW:

old sarge said: “We need clear rules that lay out a path to residency and citizenship that are nondiscriminatory and uphold the American ideal. When we appropriately codify those policies and fund their enforcement, then we can effectively address illegal immigration”

Let me allay your worries, sarge. We already have all of that. Today.

You want to come here? You apply for a visa. You want to work here and have a visa? You apply for a green card. You have a green card and want citizenship? You apply and go through a lengthy process. Then you go to a naturalization ceremony, swear allegiance to America, sing the national anthem, and you’re a citizen.

Last year I attended the naturalization ceremony for a good friend from Russia. She hadn’t thought she’d be moved by the ceremony, but she was. In the hall with her were people from 67 other countries who all became citizens that day. They were of all races and all major religions. I perceived no discrimination—not the slightest.

The only problem I see is that we also have citizens of other countries living here who skipped all these steps. There’s a clear, nondiscriminatory path for them too: go home and apply for a visa. Then wait your turn.

The Russian lady has a degree in mathematics from a major university and is an art therapist. I have a neighbor from Germany who just got his green card. He’s a PhD in physics who’s a software engineer. His wife is an African lady who’s a stay at home mom. Two other friends are a married couple from Belarus who are both programmers. She won a visa lottery. He’s working at Google now. Another friend from India got his citizenship last year. He’s a program manager at Oracle.

These people are Christian, Jewish, Hindu, white and brown. What they have in common is skills America needs. What we don’t need is unskilled laborers. We have an over 20% unemployment rate for Americans like this already.

Legalizing citizens of other countries who didn’t follow these procedures is a slap in the fact to honest immigrants like my friends, and to blue-collar Americans like many of my relatives.

And why are they here? The “job magnet” argument is only made by people who know nothing about other countries. Mexico has a population crisis. Its population has exploded from 20 million in 1940 to over 100 million in 2000—almost entirely from irresponsible procreation, under the influence of a primitive religion.

Not only is this population explosion not our fault, we’re being enablers by letting Mexico “solve” this through tossing its excess peasant class (where are the Mexcan engineers and doctors we could actually use?) onto our shores. Mexico desperately needs to adopt China’s “one child” policy. It sure won’t do that as long as it can export its problems here.

Meanwhile la reconquista (the reconquest of the Southwest by Mexico) is proceeding nicely. The only ethnic group American leftist have nothing but contempt for (Anglo Americans) is being displaced, along with blacks, who many Mexicans have a racist hatred for. The LA Times has even reported that Mexican gangs have been ethnically cleansing blacks from some neighborhoods there.

But apparently sympathy for blacks is yesterday’s news for today’s trendy leftist, along with sympathy for American working-class whites—you know, the guys whose wages have been crushed by competition from illegals, but it’s OK because the crushed guys are white, so they deserve it? Because some of their great-great-great grandparents kept slaves?

And I do have a solution for the 12 million ? illegals currently here: a universal biometric ID system for everyone in the country that you have to interface with to get a job, deal with the government, wire money out of the country, you name it.

Because if we make it impossible to navigate in our society without this ID, most of those who don’t have it will leave voluntarily, the same way they came.

Can’t get any less discriminatory than that. Such a system will deal with illegals from, say, Iceland exactly the same as those from El Salvador. And it’s fair to all Americans of every ethnicity—especially to the working poor, with many whites, blacks and Latinos in their ranks.

BTW, racerdoc raised the issue of the cash economy that’s off the grid, and also of verification, and argues that we should go after the employers of illegals first.

I agree that those who hire illegals are the villains here (along with criminal illegals of course). A universal biometric ID will catch hirers along with hirees. And making the ID required for interacting with the government in any way will catch many of those working off the grid. Some will remain, but we can’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good. As for verification—that’s where the “biometric” comes in. Fujitsu has a system that reads the pattern of veins inside your hand. You can’t fake that, even with plastic surgery.
