MORE BEHEADINGS IN NARCOmex - MEXICAN TERRORISM ON OUR OPEN & UNDEFENDED BORDERS

MORE BEHEADINGS IN NARCOmex

I just got done reading the Blog del Narco, which by the way is now essential reading to stay abreast of Mexico’s crime tsunami, and had a thought: Beheadings are so behind the times, so passĂ©.
After all, when beheadings occur every single day, they lose their impact. The Blog del Narco offers a list of the most recent beheadings.
n Police today found two decapitated bodies of women in CuauhtĂ©moc in Chihuahua state.
n In Nuevo Leon state, authorities found three headless corpses near kilometer 98 of the Monterrey-Reynosa highway. Presumably, they are linked to three severed heads found a ways away in the town of Hualahuises.
n Police have identified the guy whose body was found sitting upright along a sidewalk in the city of Monterrey, his severed head in his lap. According to the blog, he is 27-year-old Israel Neyra Esquivel.
Now all this comes just from today’s postings on the Blog del Narco (warning: the website is very graphic). Beheadings are now practiced by all the major crime organizations and even some two-bit wannabes. C’mon guys, can’t you think up something new? Beheadings have already been around at least five years, according to a story I did on them last year.
Prediction: Within a year or two, beheadings will fade away. Some new atrocity will come into favor. But beheadings, well, yawn.
