Friends of ALIPAC,
This is a warning to all of our supporters that we
have just passed the halfway point on time for our first funds drive of 2012,
but our funds level is too low! With 22 days left, we still have not reached
even 50% of the $30,000 we must raise by March 20th to reach our MINIMUM
OPERATIONS BUDGET. So far, we have raised only $12,000 and if we stay on this
course, we will fall $6,000 short if we do not receive more donations soon to
keep us on track.
We need your help to avoid going into EMERGENCY MODE.
EMERGENCY MODE is when we have to stop all activism efforts and focus
exclusively on fund raising to try to avoid the permanent closure of this
national organization.
We must raise $3,000 in the next 48 hours to get
our funds drive back on course!
We learned a hard lesson this past
December about what happens when ALIPAC is not on the battlefield against
illegal immigration. That budget shortfall forced us to shut down for a month
and remodel. During our forced shutdown, California activists pleaded for our
help with a petition to get a ballot measure up that would have allowed
California voters to reverse the Dream Act Amnesty bill that passed in that
state. ALIPAC could not respond because all of our operations were suspended as
we fought to save this organization.
Californians, Texans, and Floridians
have donated and volunteered more than anyone to support ALIPAC's efforts, but
the illegal aliens won a round in CA that we could have won if we had not fallen
short on our budget needs.
The petition gatherers fought well, but in the
end were just a few thousand signatures short of the number they needed.
Clearly, ALIPAC supporters in California could have made up the difference but
we were offline and could not help them!
Please help us get on course for
a successful funds drive to fuel this powerful and effective national
organization in the fight against illegal immigration.
If everyone will
try to do something, even if it is only $10, $25, or $50, we can meet our
minimum budget requirements and get back in the fight 100%! Please help us avoid
