The
Obama Administration's Rubber Stamp Amnesty
Dear Friend,
Is this the time for America to
unleash a lax, fraud-ridden and unconstitutional amnesty for illegal aliens?
Now, with the Middle East aflame and international terrorism risk at the
highest level since 9/11?
At FAIR, we say no. Together, you
and I are among the few voices of reason willing to speak out and act on this
issue.
Last week the first wave of illegal
aliens seeking amnesty received notice that the Obama Administration has
granted them deferred status – and work authorization will soon follow.
This first round of approvals comes only
three weeks after the application process began. The process is a
“rubber stamp,” clearly timed for the forthcoming election. This is hardly the
case-by-case examination the President promised. According to DHS, if the application
looks clean -- “the preponderance of the evidence” meets guidelines -- they
expedite the case. The procedure makes it virtually impossible to detect fraud.
And thorough background checks? Forget it!
This administration has already gone
against the will of Americans – and made an end-run around Congress -- by
abandoning most immigration law enforcement. With millions of illegal aliens
apparently in line for deferred action, this bad precedent must be stopped –
especially now, when our porous borders create a huge new security and economic
threat.
Friend, this is exactly why you
joined FAIR and why your immediate tax-deductible gift of any size to FAIR is
so important to helping us continue our mission.
We know that Congress and the
American people must stand up and stop the administration's unconstitutional
actions – its illegal amnesty!
Your immediate tax-deductible
donation will help us challenge this practice, and send this message to our
friends in Congress and to the White House. So please follow this link to give
generously today.
Thank you in advance for your
support. There's not a moment to lose.
P.S. As Americans continue to struggle to find work,
this administration is about to hand out work authorization to hundreds of
thousands of illegal aliens granted “deferred status.” This means illegal
aliens will soon begin to enter the work force under color of law and take good
American jobs. As Americans struggle to feed their families, why wouldn't the
administration use its enforcement authority to help open up new jobs?
Immigration enforcement would help free up jobs for millions of Americans. Let's
send the message. Please stand with us to
stop this backdoor amnesty!
