Feinstein of California attached a farm worker program to the multibillion
dollar Iraq war funding bill yesterday which would grant temporary amnesty to
1.3 million farm workers and their families over the next five years.

It notes that the U.S. is experiencing a “sizable increase” in the number of new heroin users.
