WHEN HARRIS WAS ATTORNEY GENERAL OF MEXIFORNIA, SHE DECLARED THAT HALF THE MURDERS IN CA WERE BY MEX GANGS!
Is amnesty really the answer to that???
Kamala Harris: Trump Border Wall ‘Stupid Use of Taxpayer Money’
A day after President Donald Trump again promised to build a border wall during his Arizona speech, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) declared that Trump’s border wall “is a stupid use of taxpayer money” in a Wednesday tweet.
Last month, Harris vowed to “block” funding for Trump’s border wall, saying it was a “waste of money.”
As Breitbart News has noted, “in 2015, an illegal immigrant murdered Kate Steinle in Harris’ sanctuary city of San Francisco while Harris, the former San Francisco district attorney, was California’s attorney general. The illegal immigrant murderer told authorities that he specifally came to San Francisco because he knew it was a sanctuary city. Harris, after reportedly initially tweeting about soccer, reacted to Steinle’s tragic death by pushing for comprehensive amnesty legislation.”

In the state of
California, of which Los Angeles is a large part, most payouts to illegals go
first to educate them, and then to jail them after they commit crimes, and then
to pay for their medical care as they clog up emergency rooms and help
themselves to Medi-Cal benefits from funds they never paid into. Welfare
itself rates a distant fourth.
On Wednesday in Miami, Attorney General Jeff Sessions praised the recent decision of Miami-Dade County to end its sanctuary policy. At the same time, he criticized Chicago’s sanctuary policy and its filing of a federal lawsuit against the Justice Department in the wake of the Department’s denial of federal law enforcement grants to sanctuary jurisdictions.
It’s been a long time coming. Sanctuary cities didn’t start in the 2010s. They didn’t start in the 2000s either. They started in the 1980s, with the most notorious case being San Francisco, which enacted its “City and County of Refuge” Ordinance in 1989. That ordinance prohibited city officials from using city funds to assist the federal government in enforcing federal immigration laws.
As a result, many known illegal aliens who had been arrested for the commission of significant crimes have been released back into the public, rather than being handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for deportation. Such policies have had deadly consequences for U.S. citizens.
The San Francisco sanctuary ordinance led to the release of Salvadoran illegal alien gang member Edwin Ramos, who had been arrested for a gang-related assault and an attempted robbery. Ramos then went on to gun down Michael, Matthew, and Andrew Bologna (a father and his two sons) in a brutal shooting in 2008. The San Francisco sanctuary ordinance also resulted in the death of Kate Steinle in 2015. Steinle was killed by illegal alien Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, a Mexican who had been previously deportedfrom the United States five times and who had been released from San Francisco custody into the public rather than being turned over to ICE. Lopez-Sanchez shot Steinle when she was walking on a San Francisco pier with her father. In both cases, American citizens were killed by illegal alien criminals who had been permitted and encouraged to remain in San Francisco by the sanctuary policy. Their deaths could have been prevented if San Francisco had turned the illegal aliens over to ICE.
And the list goes on. All across America, citizens have been killed or injured by illegal aliens sheltered by sanctuary cities and counties.
In 1996, long before these deaths, Congress had already decided to do something about sanctuary cities. It was intolerable that cities like San Francisco were directly undermining federal law by providing refuge to illegal aliens. The Republican Congress, along with President Bill Clinton, enacted a federal statute that bars cities from “prohibit[ing], or in any way restrict[ing], any government entity or official from sending to, or receiving from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual.” The law also requires the federal government to respond to any inquiry from a city or county about any alien’s legal status.
The 1996 law was clear — sanctuary policies were expressly prohibited by federal law. There was only one problem with the law: Congress assumed that cities would follow the newly enacted anti-sanctuary law, so there was no need to include in it a penalty for cities that violated it. Of course, this assumption proved to be incorrect, as more and more cities across the country continued to adopt sanctuary policies. In the vast majority of these cases, the sanctuary cities were Democrat-controlled jurisdictions.
For years, these sanctuary policies took one of two forms. They were either “don’t ask” jurisdictions like Los Angeles, in which police are prohibited from approaching a person to ask his immigration status, or “don’t tell” jurisdictions like San Francisco, in which police were prohibited from telling federal immigration authorities about an illegal alien’s presence or status. Then, in 2014, a new form of sanctuary jurisdiction emerged. It’s a jurisdiction that refuses to comply with an ICE “detainer request” — a request from ICE that a particular illegal alien in state or county custody be held and transferred to ICE.
There are now approximately 340 cities and states in the United States that have adopted sanctuary policies. These policies pose a direct threat to the safety of the American public – causing the release of approximately 1,000 alien criminals back onto the streets every month. 9,295 criminal aliens sought by ICE were released by sanctuary jurisdictions in a nine-month period in 2014. A shockingly high number of those illegal aliens who were released – 2,320 – were subsequently arrested for another crime within the same nine-month period. It is painfully clear that sanctuary cities and counties create a grave safety risk for the citizens who live in them.
Enter the Trump Administration. Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced on Wednesday that sanctuary jurisdictions would no longer be eligible to receive federal funds from the Byrne Justice Assistance grant program — a $380 million program. The denial of federal money changes everything. Many cities and counties across the country are addicted to these funds. When they are denied the ability to feed at the federal trough, they come to their senses regarding sanctuary policies. That’s what happened in Miami-Dade County. Republican Mayor Carlos Gimenez said he repealed Miami-Dade’s 2013 sanctuary policy because he didn’t want to risk losing federal funds.
The next step is for Congress to deny an even broader array of federal funds to sanctuary jurisdictions, putting in the teeth that were missing from the 1996 law. The House of Representatives passed such a bill at the end of June 2017. But the Senate has yet to vote on it. It appears that the Senate Republican leadership is in no hurry to bring the issue to the floor. Senate Democrats have made clear that they will oppose the bill, just like they opposed similar bills in 2015 and 2016. Democrat Senator Robert Menendez of New Jersey even said, “I will do whatever I can” to stop the bill.
The states also need to act. Many cities and counties that are not dependent on federal funds still receive huge infusions of money from their respective states. Access to those funds also needs to be denied to sanctuary jurisdictions. I drafted a bill – SB 158 – that barred sanctuary jurisdictions in Kansas (of which there are currently four) from receiving state money. It passed easily out of the relevant Senate committee. But the Republican leadership of the Kansas Senate inexplicably failed to bring the bill to a vote of the full Senate.
Unfortunately, many politicians don’t realize that it’s a matter of life and death. They seem unmotivated to act until someone else dies at the hands of an illegal alien in a sanctuary jurisdiction. The longer state legislators and U.S. Senators wait, the greater the likelihood that another preventable death will occur.
The time has come to act. President Trump made it a top priority during his campaign, and the American public signaled their agreement by electing him. The U.S. Senate needs to take a vote. If Democrats vote no, then they need to be held accountable by the voters of their states in 2018. And every state needs to pass a bill like Kansas’s SB 158. Then, and only then, can legislators say that they have done all that is possible to prevent needless deaths in sanctuary jurisdictions.
Kris W. Kobach is the elected Secretary of State of Kansas. An expert in immigration law and policy, he coauthored the Arizona SB-1070 immigration law and represented in federal court the 10 ICE agents who sued to stop Obama’s 2012 executive amnesty. In 2017 President Trump named him Vice Chairman of the Presidential Commission on
Election Integrity. His website is kriskobach.com.
Illegal Alien Who Allegedly Killed Woman is Free in Mexico, Says Husband
The man who allegedly killed a woman in Las Vegas, Nevada, is now walking free in Mexico after being released by federal immigration officials, according to the victim’s husband.
Billy and Kathy Dolan were married for 30 years when one day, the man received a message from the local coroner’s office that his wife had been killed in a car accident, according to FOX 5 News.
“We were both stopped at a red light and I looked over at her and thought ‘There she is,’” Dolan told FOX 5. “I don’t usually stare, but this time I did, and the car behind me actually honked because the light turned green. Was this God telling me this is the last time I was going to see her alive.”
Police told Dolan that his wife had been struck by 30-year-old illegal alien Alfredo Vazquez-Orozco as he was allegedly drunk-driving at a high speed. The GoFundMe page for Kathy’s funeral donations say she was “on her way for a kidney dialysis treatment on the west side of Las Vegas.”
“Kathy always went early so she would have the rest of her day to recover, be with her husband Billy, and her beloved cats,” the page states.
Following the crash, the illegal alien was charged with a DUI for the death of Kathy and drug possession. According to Dolan, the man did not remain in police custody long before he was released to Mexico:
He said no one has been keeping him in the loop about what is going on with his wife’s case so he called the District Attorney’s office to ask. That’s when he was told that Vazquez-Orozco was a free man in Mexico.“They walked him to the border and just let him go,” Billy said.
Dolan is now looking to hire a legal help to find his wife’s alleged killer in Mexico, saying without justice for his wife, he struggles to live day-to-day.
“When I wake up, I think about her, I kiss her, I hold her, this is all I have,” Dolan told FOX 5.
Illegal Alien Gets 40 Years in Prison for Getting His Daughter Pregnant
A judge sentenced a Mississippi man who entered the U.S. illegally to 40 years in prison for getting his daughter pregnant.
Natalio Vitervo-Vasquez pleaded guilty to Friday morning to sexual battery with a child under 14-years-old, WDAM reports.
Prosecutors say the girl, who was 11-years-old at the time, went to a medical center where it was determined she was pregnant. Officials say she would have conceived the child at ten years of age.
She told prosecutors that Vitervo-Vasquez “touched her and gave her something to drink” after taking her to a hotel room. She also told officials that the drink he gave her “made her sleepy.”
WJW reports that she gave birth to a baby boy with multiple birth defects in November 2016. The baby died in surgery at a hospital in Jackson.
The prosecuting district attorney in Jackson said DNA taken from the mother determined with 99.9 percent certainty that Vitervo-Vasquez was the father.
Vitero-Vasquez, who prosecutors say was deported twice, did not have a social security number and could not read or write.
The judge sentenced Vasquez to 40 years in prison, ordering that he serve a mandatory minimum of 25 years and be deported immediately after he is released.
Other illegal aliens have been in the news this week after being charged with raping a minor.
An illegal alien who was arrested last Sunday for allegedly raping a 7-year-old girl had been deported once before.

GRAPHIC: Violence Spikes in Mexican Border State Capital as Cartel War Rages
CIUDAD VICTORIA, Tamaulipas — The capital of this border state saw a recent spike in cartel violence after hitmen attacked a local restaurant during business hours. The attack resulted in the murder of the owner and injury to two of his employees. Hours prior to the murder, this city had three other murders and other cartel attacks.
The Los Zetas faction called Cartel Del Noreste or CDN took credit for the wave of crime through Facebook pages that deal with security conditions in Tamaulipas. In the case of the restaurant owner, the attack took place at his business, Food Porn, in the northern part of the city. Authorities identified the murder victim as Abraham Ramses Cardenas Islas. He died from multiple gunshots to the body.
The bullets also struck bartender Mario Herrera Urbina and a waiter, Rene Ramirez Peña. The employees were only hurt in the attack, which took place during business hours.
A few minutes after the attack, Facebook posts in pages that deal with security conditions in the state revealed that members of the CDN were taking credit for the murder and issuing additional threats claiming that the business was a money laundering front for their rivals with the Gulf Cartel and the Vieja Escuela Zeta.
The CDN is an offshoot of Los Zetas that has been at war with another offshoot called Vieja Escuela, Breitbart Texas reported. The rival factions have been fighting over the cities that Los Zetas used to control. In recent months, the CDN had suffered many casualties in Ciudad Victoria but suddenly the cartel made a comeback setting off a fierce wave of violence. The lack of security conditions that have affected this city goes on without government officials being able to stop it or at least decrease it.
Hours after the murder at the restaurant, the CDN issued other threats during the day. They threatened anyone who worked with their enemies.
Prior to posting those messages in the southeastern part of the city, authorities found the body of an unidentified man who had been shot twice in the head and twice in the body.
Soon after that murder, in the central part of the city, cartel gunmen executed two men who were riding in a Dodge Dakota. The two men have been identified as Cesar Del Angel Rodriguez Rodriguez and his cousin Adalberto Ramos Rodriguez. Both men received two gunshots to the head.
A team of gunmen also shot a student named Juan Fernando Sanchez Bustos. The 18-year-old was shot in the legs and had a grazing wound to his head. Medical personnel rushed him to a local hospital. The teen is allegedly tied to organized crime.
Editor’s Note: Breitbart Texas traveled to the Mexican States of Tamaulipas, Coahuila, and Nuevo León to recruit citizen journalists willing to risk their lives and expose the cartels silencing their communities. The writers would face certain death at the hands of the various cartels that operate in those areas including the Gulf Cartel and Los Zetas if a pseudonym were not used. GRAPHIC: Corpse Left Hanging from Overpass As Cartel War Rages in Mexico
A body hanging from a bridge next to a painted warning reveals the ongoing horrors that Los Zetas continue to spread throughout Mexico in their protracted war for drug trafficking territories.
This week, members of the Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas executed a man and hung him from an overpass above a busy highway in the city of Matehuala, San Luis Potosi. The gory sight included a message painted on the cardboard that was left at the crime scene. Photographs were shared on social media by citizen journalists.
The cardboard was signed by an unknown figure known only as Comandante GAFE with the CDN. The message claimed the cartel was cleaning the “plaza” or cartel territory, pointing to an escalation of violence in the once quiet region. The GAFE nickname hints to some of the original Zetas who were Mexican Special Forces (GAFES). The nickname was also used by a currently jailed Gulf Cartel boss who operated in the border city of Reynosa.
For over a year, rival factions of Los Zetas have fought for control of lucrative trafficking territories and routes into the U.S., Breitbart Texas reported. One faction, known as Vieja Escuela Zeta or “Old School Z”, had begun attacking the regions previously held by the Zeta faction known as CDN. Initially, the fighting took place in the border states of Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon, and Coahuila, however, non-border states like San Luis Potosi have begun to see a spike in cartel violence. The fighting is mostly reflected in gory executions and targeted attacks.
San Luis Potosi serves as a midway point for cartels moving drugs or human cargo from the coastal areas or the central part of Mexico to the border states of Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, and Coahuila.

DOJ: 13 MS-13 Gang Members Arrested in Ohio, Indiana
(CNSNews.com) - The Justice Department announced Tuesday that 13 members and associates of the MS-13 gang were arrested in Central Ohio and Indiana.
A total of 15 suspected MS-13 members were charged with federal crimes - 10 of them with conspiracy to commit extortion, conspiracy to commit money laundering and use of a firearm during a crime of violence. Five defendants were charged with reentering the country after deportation. Two of the 15 alleged MS-13 gang members are fugitives.
“With more than 10,000 members across 40 states, MS-13 is one of the most dangerous criminal organizations in the United States today," said Attorney General Sessions. "MS-13 members have killed children and pregnant women, extorted immigrant-owned businesses, and trafficked underage girls to sell them for sex. President Trump has ordered the Department of Justice to reduce crime and take down transnational criminal organizations, and we will be relentless in our pursuit of these objectives. Today's charges are our next step toward making this country safer by taking MS-13 off of our streets for good.”
MS-13, once known as La Mara Salvatrucha, has been designated as a "transnational criminal organization" - the first and only street gang to be designated as such.
According to the indictment, 10 defendants conspired to commit extortion through the use of threatened or actual force, violence or fear to intimidate their victims into paying money to the defendants and their co-conspirators. The money from these crimes was sent through wire transfers and intermediaries to MS-13 gang members and associates in El Salvador - where the gang originated - and elsewhere.
That money was used to promote and facilitate criminal activities of MS-13 in El Salvador and the U.S., according to the DOJ. It was used to buy cell phones, drugs, and weapons, and to financially support MS-13 and those gang members that are jailed in El Saldavor and the U.S., as well as those who were deported and the families of dead MS-13 members.

Mexican Gangs Create ‘Narco Saints’ to Moralize Crime
Drug cartels and gangs in Mexico are altering religions and engaging in brutal crimes as forms of worship
Drug cartels and street gangs in Mexico are creating their own religions and altering beliefs in existing Catholic saints, in a move to create a new “narcoculture” that tries to morally justify crime and violence.
Some of these new figures of worship are existing Catholic saints, most of which have had their meaning altered for the narcoculture. Some are pulled from Aztec gods worshipped through human sacrifice, while others are new creations altogether.
The two most popular figures of worship in Mexico are products of this new narcoculture. The most popular is St. Jude Thaddeus, also called “Saint Judas,” while the second most popular is a newly created folk saint called Santa Muerte, “Saint Death.”
For the rest of Mexico, the growth in popularity of narco saints presents a moral crisis, since they are not only being used to alter the traditional, morally based faiths, but also to create a new system of morals that supports violent crime.
What is taking place in Mexico is a form of “spiritual appropriation,” whereby the existing religion is being altered to justify a criminal insurgency, according to Robert J. Bunker, adjunct research professor at the Strategic Studies Institute at U.S. Army War College.
There is a spectrum of beliefs in Mexico that ties directly to the growth of crime. Bunker said at one extreme, there are those who adhere to traditional Catholicism and other morally based religions. At the other extreme “would be those individuals whom we consider to be ‘evil’ in their value system.”
Yet as the narcoculture continues to develop, it is becoming harder for people to differentiate the legitimate figures from the newly created “narco saints.” Bunker noted the case of Saint Judas, a legitimate Catholic saint now commonly worshipped for protection by smugglers, bandits, gangs, and drug cartel members.
He said a slightly more extreme case is the new “bandit saint,” Santo Niño Huachicolero, which is an alteration of a legitimate Catholic saint, Santo Niño de Atocha, or “Holy Child of Atocha.”
The Catholic News Service warned of the newly altered saint on May 12, noting that it was created by a gang of gasoline thieves known as “huachicoleros” southeast of Mexico City who altered the image of the Christ child to show him holding a gas can and hose. It cites Father Paulo Carvajal, archdiocesan spokesman, as stating: “This image can never be accepted. Being a ‘huachicolero’ is practically a crime. The church cannot be in favor of this, much less be in favor that images are used in this way.”
Carvajal said the new saint is being used to “deceive” people. Locals following the new saint have even protested to defend the gas thieves from law enforcement.
Bunker noted the significance of the phenomena, saying, “A venerated 13th-century Catholic saint has just been ‘spiritually hijacked’ by criminal elements in Mexico and recast as the patron deity of gasoline thieves before our eyes.”
With the creation of the new saint, “another demographic, albeit a relatively small one, has just further rationalized their criminal behaviors—which are at odds with state authority—by having someone to pray to in order to achieve success in their gasoline-stealing endeavors,” he said.
“From a Catholic Church and traditional Mexican societal perspective, another grouping of people just ‘jumped ship’ and went over to the narco and criminal elements of society in both their hearts and minds.”
‘Left-Hand’ Saints
The cases of sanctioned Catholic saints relate to spiritual appropriation, according to Bunker, whereby people are altering religions to justify acts—such as theft and smuggling—that would traditionally violate the religion.
On a spectrum that classifies beliefs on a “left-hand path” as ones that could be viewed as purely evil and on a “right-hand path” as ones of traditional morals, these new saints and figures fall from the middle to the left.
Bunker describes the spectrum of narco saints in the book “Blood Sacrifices: Violent Non-State Actors and Dark Magico-Religious Activities,” published in 2016.
Many cartels and criminal organizations in Mexico can no longer be viewed as merely conventional criminal groups, since many of them use narco saints to try to justify, or even sanctify, their crimes.
The Familia Michoacana cartel and the Caballeros Templarios cartel, which are two of the largest drug cartels in Mexico, worship the newly created San Nazario, “The Craziest One.” Their crimes play a direct role in their worship of their manufactured saint, who they believe requires torture, ritual killing, and cannibalism.
The Sinaloa cartel worships an unsanctioned saint of drug traffickers, bandits, and outlaws that they refer to as “Jesús Malverde,” also known as “Generous Bandit.”
Even “Saint Death,” which carries the image of the grim reaper, has a strong criminal following. According to “Blood Sacrifices,” the new “folk saint” is worshipped by the Los Zetas cartel, the El Gulfo cartel factions, and by many other gangs. Their worship often includes ritual killing, offering of human body parts, and cannibalism.
Mid-sized Mexican gangs and criminal outfits also have their manufactured saints. The Mexican Mafia, the Sureños, and Barrio Azteca, for example, worship the Aztec war god Huitzilopochtli. Bunker notes that while the deity’s requirements are often less gruesome than the new saints worshipped by many cartels, it is still used to justify the ideology of violent crime.
A Social Dilemma
For the rest of Mexico, the growth in popularity of narco saints presents a moral crisis, since they are not only being used to alter the traditional, morally based faiths, but also to create a new system of morals that supports violent crime.
In the conventional view of crime in the United States, people in criminal gangs are often motivated by financial gain, are pulled into lives of crime due to poverty or poor education, or join the gangs for a sense of belonging.
Bunker noted that while this conventional understanding of gangs and organized crime may still be largely accurate in the United States, it cannot be used to understand Mexican cartels or related Latin American gangs such as MS-13 and 18th Street.
These groups, he said, “are evolving into something much more dangerous that blurs our understanding of criminal activity and warfare.” He said they have become “challengers to the state” and have carved out their own territories in many countries where they can act with impunity.
The creation of new religions only adds to the severity of the threat. He said the groups’ criminality is “no longer just secular,” since they have added a new spiritual component to their actions, and they are now spreading these new ideologies among the general population—creating warped, “criminalized” societies.
Bunker noted that Americans and Europeans often see the world through “utilitarian, rationalistic, liberal democratic and secular colored lenses,” and these “perceptual biases” often prevent them from seeing that some groups may have perceptions completely different from their own.
“This is why—as a nation—the U.S. falls into recurrent traps of our own making,” he said, noting the U.S. attempts at nation-building in countries like Afghanistan that have often overlooked the tribal and factional cultures in those countries and their illicit markets in opium production.
The same has applied to other areas, including with drug cartels and terrorist groups. He said this perceptual bias has prevented many in the United States from being able to understand that “some people, such as members of a specific cartel or a terrorist group, may kill for sport and pleasure—as in the case of Los Zetas—or truly believe that they are doing god’s work while beheading someone, as in the case of Islamic State adherents.”

Border Patrol Agents Rescue 60 Migrants from Refrigerated Trailer
Border Patrol agents working in South Texas arrested a Guatemalan national truck driver who allegedly attempted to smuggle 60 illegal aliens through an inland checkpoint in a refrigerated trailer.
The agents, assigned to the Falfurrias Border Patrol Checkpoint in Brooks County, observed a tractor-trailer approaching the inspection station located 80 miles from the Texas/Mexico border. A K-9 agent alerted to the presence of something unusual in the back end of the locked refrigerated trailer. Agents directed the driver, a Guatemalan national, to a secondary inspection station, according to information provided to Breitbart Texas by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials.
Upon unlocking the trailer, agents discovered 60 illegal aliens lying on, and within, pallets of broccoli lined with thin sheets of ice. The agents determined the temperature inside the trailer to be 49 degrees.
Agents arrested the foreign truck driver and seized the tractor-trailer. Officials offered emergency medical treatment to the migrants. The illegal immigrants all declined treatment.
The agents transported the 60 individuals to the Falfurrias Border Patrol station for processing where they determine the illegal immigrants came to the U.S. from four countries — 22 from Guatemala, 17 from Mexico, 13 from El Salvador, and 8 from Honduras.
“Criminal activity like this will also lead to serious consequences for truck drivers who engage in smuggling,” Rio Grande Valley Sector Chief Patrol Agent Manuel Padilla Jr., said in a written statement.
Another driver of a refrigerated tractor-trailer now faces the death penalty if he is convicted in a human smuggling case where ten illegal immigrants died after being locked in the back end of a trailer in San Antonio. A federal grand jury indicted Florida truck driver, James Matthew Bradley, Jr., on charges of transporting Undocumented Aliens for Financial Gain Resulting in Death, Breitbart Texas reported.
Investigators said in the previously reported criminal complaint:
Bradley said he was traveling from Laredo to San Antonio, after having the tractor-trailer washed and detailed at a truck stop near Laredo. He intended to take the trailer to Brownsville to deliver it to someone who had purchased it. He stopped at the Wal-Mart and heard banging and shaking in the trailer.
One week ago, Border Patrol agents in Edinburg, Texas, arrived on the scene of another incident of human smugglers using a trailer to transport their human cargo. Family members in Mexico called police to report people being locked in the back of a very hot trailer.
The caller said their relative was trapped inside a tractor-trailer parked at the Flying J truck stop in Edinburg. When police arrived on the scene, they began a trailer-to-trailer search. They eventually located a trailer where they received a response of people knocking on the walls from inside.
Border Patrol agents assigned to the Rio Grande Valley Sector also responded to the scene and helped in the recovery and identification of the illegal aliens. Officials report they detained two Cuban nationals (male and female) in connection to the human smuggling case.
The callous human smugglers kept the 17 illegal aliens locked in the hot trailer for eight to nine hours, police stated.
Border Patrol K-9 teams are trained to detect the presence of drugs or human cargo in the back of cars, trucks and trailers.

Here are a few facts you should
consider when you finally look around yourself and see only Mexicans….Mexicans
driving, Mexicans in our jobs, Mexicans in our welfare office, Mexicans
flooding our healthcare systems, and Mexicans and only Mexicans at all
construction sites.
CALIFORNIA UNDER MEXICAN
OCCUPATION:
The State Government of CA hands
illegals more than $30 BILLION per year in social services. That’s the state
level we’re talking about. Counties hand out even more with Mex-occupied Los
Angeles leading at $1 BILLION in welfare for Mexico’s anchor baby breeders. No
legal in Los Angeles or California were ever given the opportunity to vote on
Mexico’s welfare state in our open borders.
California has the largest and most
expensive state prison system in the nation. Half the inmates are illegals from
Mexico.
There have been more than 2,000
Californians murdered by Mexicans that fled back across the border to avoid
prosecution.
According to former CA Attorney
General Kamala Harris, now CA senator and advocate for amnesty, nearly HALF the
murders in CA are by Mexican gangs.
Los Angeles is America’s and
Mexico’s second largest city. Approximately 93% of the murders are committed by
Mexicans.
The Los Angeles Police department
publishes a list with images of the 200 most wanted criminals in Los Angeles.
About 186 at any given time are Mexicans. Most of the rest are Russian and
Armenians.
The County of Los Angeles spends
about $300 million yearly to jail Mexican criminals.
The City of Los Angeles spends
about $10 MILLION per year to clean up Mexican graffiti.
The City of Los Angeles has more
than 100,000 homeless and bout 5 MILLION illegals housed and in jobs.
The tax-free underground economy in
Los Angeles County is estimated to be in excess of $2 BILLION per year.
The City of Los Angeles tetters on
bankruptcy. It will be the largest bankruptcy in American history and will end
all City employee pensions. Still there will be no cuts related to the Mexican
occupation.
California ranks No. 48 out of 50
states for abominable lower education quality. Mexicans loathe literacy and
speaking the gringo language. Most Mexicans graduate from high school not being
able to read at a third-grade level.
At Santee Public High School in Los
Angeles, classes are taught in Spanish. Books are in Spanish and school
assemblies end in “!Viva Mexico, Viva Mexico!”.
Many public schools in CA have
prohibited Legals from wearing American flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo day.
California’s Attorney General
Xavier Becerra has been described in the press as a “Puss spewing racist”.
Mexicans think of themselves as LA RAZA “The Race”. The A.G.’s website no
longer list California’s most wanted criminals as they were all MEXICANS.
Becerra, as Congressman, sucked in bribes from Mexican criminals.
There have been more than 82
private enterprise hospitals and clinics in CA driven into bankruptcy due to
Mexico’s occupation of CA. It’s calculated that Mexico’s “free” gringo-paid
healthcare in CA cost legals $1.5 BILLION per year. No illegal in Mexico
received ANY medical attention, welfare or jobs.
The La Raza Sanctuary City of West
Hollywood, which employs hordes of illegals, banned the use of gas leaf blowers
in 1987. No City ordinances anywhere in CA ever apply to illegals. The City
handed out more than 400 fines to gardeners who were all illegals from Mexico.
The fines were never paid and were deemed uncollectable as these gardeners all
had fraudulent IDs. Therefore they were out there driving unlicensed and
uninsured. No illegal caught using a gas leaf blower and with fraudulent ID was
or will ever be prosecuted. In CA La Raza is above the law.
In Los Angeles there have been
numerous murders of innocent black Americans by Mexican gangs who were
“ethnically cleansing” their hoods.
LA RAZA Gov Jerry Brown has signed
each and every bill put before him that would expand Mexico’s supremacy in CA.
Both houses of the state legislature are now controlled by Mexico.
Gov Jerry Brown has openly
proclaimed that California is the Mexican’s “second home”, but when it comes to
jobs, a tax-free lifestyle, welfare, “free” medical, education and housing for
many, CA is the Mexican’s first home.
Former Mayor of Los Angeles and now
candidate for Governor, Antonio Villaraigosa is a former member of the racist,
violent, fascist separatist movement of M.E.Ch.A.
Mexico has 50 consulates in
American compared with the United Kingdom which has only 8. These consulates
are LA RAZA headquarters to help Mexicans claim their “rights”, which is more
welfare and “free” medical.

ILLEGALS
COSTING CALIFORNIA BILLIONS
By
Jerry Seper 2004 ( THINK IT’S GOTTEN ANY BETTER SINCE 2004?)
THE
WASHINGTON TIMES Published December 7, 2004
Illegal
immigration costs the taxpayers of California -- which has the highest number
of illegal aliens nationwide -- $10.5 (NOW $30 BILLION) billion a year for
education, health care and incarceration, according to a study released
yesterday. A key finding of the report by the Federation for American
Immigration Reform (FAIR) said the state's already struggling
kindergarten-through-12th-grade education system spends $7.7 billion a year on
children of illegal aliens, who constitute 15 percent of the student body. The
report also said the incarceration of convicted illegal aliens in state prisons
and jails and uncompensated medical outlays for health care provided to illegal
aliens each amounted to about $1.4 billion annually. The incarceration costs
did not include judicial expenditures or the monetary costs of the crimes
committed by illegal aliens that led to their incarceration. "California's
addiction to 'cheap' illegal-alien labor is bankrupting the state and posing
enormous burdens on the state's shrinking middle-class tax base," said
FAIR President Dan Stein. "Most Californians, who have seen their taxes
increase while public services deteriorate, already know the impact that mass
illegal immigration is having on their communities, but even they may be
shocked when they learn just how much of a drain illegal immigration has
become," he said.
ALIEN NATION: Secrets of the
Invasion….. It
S all about keeping wages depressed!
May
2006 – ALIEN NATION: Secrets of the Invasion – Why America's government invites
rampant illegal immigration
It's
widely regarded as America's biggest problem: Between 12 and 20 million aliens
(MOST SOURCES SUGGEST THERE ARE MUCH MORE LIKELY NEARLY 40 MILLION ILLEGALS
HERE NOW) – including large numbers of criminals, gang members and even
terrorists – have entered this nation illegally, with countless more streaming
across our scandalously unguarded borders daily.
The
issue polarizes the nation, robs citizens of jobs, bleeds taxpayers, threatens
America's national security and dangerously balkanizes the country into
unassimilated ethnic groups with little loyalty or love for America's founding
values. Indeed, the de facto invasion is rapidly transforming America into a
totally different country than the one past generations have known and loved.
And
yet – most Americans have almost no idea what is really going on, or why it is
happening.
While
news reports depict demonstrations and debates, and while politicians promise
"comprehensive border security programs," no real answers ever seem
to emerge.
But
there are answers. Truthful answers. Shocking answers.
In
its groundbreaking May edition, WND's acclaimed monthly Whistleblower magazine
reveals the astounding hidden agendas, plans and people behind America's
immigration nightmare.
Titled
"ALIEN NATION," the issue is subtitled "SECRETS OF THE INVASION:
Why government invites rampant illegal immigration." Indeed, it reveals
pivotal secrets very few Americans know. For example:
Did
you know that the powerfully influential Council on Foreign Relations – often
described as a “shadow government" – issued a comprehensive report last
year laying out a five-year plan for the "establishment by 2010 of a North
American economic and security community" with a common "outer
security perimeter"?
Roughly
translated: In the next few years, according to the 59-page report titled
"Building a North American Community," the U.S. must be integrated
with the socialism, corruption, poverty and population of Mexico and Canada.
"Common perimeter" means wide-open U.S. borders between the U.S.,
Mexico and Canada. As Phyllis Schlafly reveals in this issue of Whistleblower:
"This CFR document asserts that President Bush, Mexican President Vicente
Fox and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin 'committed their governments' to
this goal when they met at Bush's ranch and at Waco, Texas, on March 23, 2005.
The three adopted the 'Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America'
and assigned 'working groups' to fill in the details. It was at this same
meeting, grandly called the North American Summit, that President Bush pinned
the epithet 'vigilantes' on the volunteers guarding our border in
Arizona."
The
CFR report – important excerpts of which are published in Whistleblower – also
suggests North American elitists begin getting together regularly, and
presumably secretly, "to buttress North American relationships, along the
lines of the Bilderberg or Wehrkunde conferences, organized to support
transatlantic relations." The Bilderberg and Wehrkunde conferences are
highly secret conclaves of the powerful. For decades, there have been
suspicions that such meetings were used for plotting the course of world events
and especially the centralization of global decision-making.
Did
you know that radical immigrant groups – including the League of United Latin
American Citizens (LULAC), the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational
Fund (MALDEF), the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA) and the National Council of La Raza (La Raza) – not only share a
revolutionary agenda of conquering America's southwest, but they also share
common funding sources, notably the Ford and Rockefeller foundations?
''California
is going to be a Hispanic state," said Mario Obeldo, former head of
MALDEF. "Anyone who does not like it should leave." And MEChA's goal
is even more radical: an independent ''Aztlan,'' the collective name this organization
gives to the seven states of the U.S. Southwest – Arizona, California,
Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Utah. So why would the Rockefeller and
Ford foundations support such groups? Joseph Farah tells the story in this
issue of Whistleblower.
Why
have America's politicians – of both major parties – allowed the illegal alien
invasion of this nation to continue for the last 30 years unabated? With
al-Qaida and allied terrorists promising to annihilate major U.S. cities with
nuclear weapons, with some big-city hospital emergency rooms near closure due
to the crush of so many illegals, with the rapid spread throughout the U.S. of
MS-13, the super-violent illegal alien gang – with all this and more, why do
U.S. officials choose to ignore the laws of the land and the will of the people
to pursue, instead, policies of open borders and lax immigration enforcement?
The
answers to all this and much more are in Whistleblower's "ALIEN
NATION" issue.
Is
there hope? Or is America lost to a demographic invasion destined to annihilate
its traditional Judeo-Christian culture, and to the ever-growing likelihood
that nuclear-armed jihadists will cross our porous borders and wreak
unthinkable destruction here?
There
most definitely is hope, according to this issue of Whistleblower. Although
most politicians of both major political parties have long since abdicated
their responsibility for securing America's borders and dealing effectively
with the millions already here illegally, there are a few exceptions – most
notably Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo.
May's
Whistleblower includes an exclusive sneak preview of Tancredo's forthcoming
blockbuster book, "In Mortal Danger: The Battle for America’s Border and
Security." In an extended excerpt, Whistleblower presents Tencredo's
expert and inspired analysis of exactly how to solve the nation's most vexing
problem.

REALITY OF THE MEXICAN OCCUPATION AND MEXICAN
SUPREMACY:Banned: The American Flag on Cinco de Mayo
by Kevin McCullough
When
200 hispanic students skipped school last week and marched through downtown
Morgan Hill, California chanting "Si se puede" intermixed with
"We want respect," none were banned from school attendance on their
return.
When
five students, one of them an American from latino roots, wore American flags
to school as a sign of patriotic speech, they were labeled incendiary. They
were instructed to turn their shirts inside-out so as to cover up the American
flag. And when they refused to surrender their first amendment right to
expression, they were given unexcused absences.
Assistant
Principal Miguel Rodriguez called the flag draped wardrobe
"incendiary" because the students had chosen to worn them on May 5,
popularly known as Cinco de Mayo. (A date that "celebrates" Mexico's
defeat of the French in a single battle, in a war that Mexico eventually lost.)
The
school's administration went further in claiming the five students were
attempting "to start a fight" and "adding fuel to the
fire."
Latino
parents chimed in and chided the five students (one of which is of Mexican
ethnic heritage) saying, "we're all offended by it."
One
parent, Teresa Casillas, claimed her hispanic children were upset by the
behavior of the boys wearing the flagged shirts, calling it disrespectful.
Yet
for all the outcry, not an ounce of proof has erupted that the boys made any
actions of provocation--except wear the shirts on Cinco De Mayo.
One
of the more ignorant utterances by one of the hispanic student protestors
summed up the stupidity best, "It's disrespectful to do it on Cinco de
Mayo," said Jessica Cortez, a Live Oak sophomore. "They can be a
patriot on some other day. Not that specific day."
And
so this is what the argument has been reduced to.
I
mean, you do understand don't you that Cinco de Mayo is not even celebrated en
masse by Mexicans?
Yet
the militant, belligerent, children of latinos living in Morgan Hill are
exhibiting symptoms of a problem that is widespread. Raw naked entitlement that
not only flouts the laws, but has now led to the limiting of the most
legitimate expression whose freedom should always be protected: patriotism.
It
was bad enough that the Obama administration went on a systematic campaign to
discredit the recent right of the state of Arizona to reinforce federal
guidelines for immigration. It was bad enough that the lies were widely told,
and never retracted by news agencies that should have known better.
THE WEEKLatino power comes full circle in L.A.
Once there was only Edward Roybal in a position of power. Today, as it did long ago, authority rests in many Latino hands.
By Cathleen Decker
April 11, 2010
The announcement last week that Archbishop Jose
Gomez of San Antonio will replace Cardinal Roger Mahony as head of the local
Catholic diocese capped an assertion of power on the part of Latinos in Los
Angeles that is remarkable in its seeming speed.
For decades, only one Latino held unquestioned
public power: Edward R. Roybal, the first Latino to win a seat on the Los
Angeles City Council. He spent 13 years there, then moved to Congress to serve
30 years, most of that time as the region's only Latino representative.
Now the power positions held by Latinos in the Los
Angeles area are multiple and manifest. Besides the Mexico-born archbishop, who
is in line to become the first U.S. prelate of Latino heritage to become a
cardinal, there is the mayor. The speaker of the Assembly. The sheriff. A
county supervisor. Several members of the City Council, of Congress, of the
Legislature, of the Los Angeles school board. The head of the most influential
civic entity, organized labor.
"It is coming full circle," said UC
Berkeley associate professor Lisa GarcÃa Bedolla, the author of two books on
Latino politics. "That's what Los Angeles looked like before becoming part
of the United States."
It is hardly accidental, however. The moves to the
top in politics and other endeavors have required equal parts population
shifts, hard-fought legal pursuit and political strategizing.
Population numbers are only the most obvious
propellant for the ambitions of both the community and its leaders.
In
1960, according to a USC demographic study, fewer than 10% of the people in the
Los Angeles County area were Latino. By 2008, according to federal census
estimates, almost half were Latino. Roughly the same was true in the city of
Los Angeles.
While trailing the population levels -- because of
lagging citizenship numbers -- the ranks of Latino voters also swelled over
those decades.
But their efforts to win elections were thwarted by
political lines drawn to diminish their heft. In the mid-1980s, legal
challenges began to chip away at those hurdles. First came a legal assault on
the Los Angeles City Council's district boundaries, which led to the creation
of what was called at the time a "Latino district."
GLORIA MOLINA – RACIST LATINA BITCH
Next came a federal court fight over the Board of
Supervisors. A judge ultimately decided that the board had drawn its lines to
intentionally discriminate against Latinos. The judge's ruling led directly to
the election, in early 1991, of Gloria Molina to the board.
As inspiring to the community as the two legal
moves were, however, they essentially accounted for a single seat each. A more
prosaic development, term limits, would ultimately do far more, according to
GarcÃa Bedolla.
Beyond the churning of legislative and council
seats was the coincident rise of organized labor as a factor benefiting Latinos
and other minority candidates. Miguel Contreras, who took over the county labor
federation in 1996, ran it like a powerhouse until his death in 2005. His widow
and fellow union leader, Maria Elena Durazo, now heads the labor organization.
"They explicitly included immigrants . . .
[which] made the Latino community a political force in progressive politics in
a way they hadn't been before," GarcÃa Bedolla said.
A conspiring assist came, at the same time, from
the non-Latino head of the local Catholic Church. Mahony had made a name as a
friend of immigrants and Latinos before he arrived in Los Angeles in 1985. As
the Latino population of the area swelled, he waded into a host of civic
entanglements on their behalf.
He publicly defended janitors during a nasty
strike. He came out early and forcefully against Proposition 187, the 1994
measure to strip state services from illegal immigrants. (It passed
overwhelmingly but was largely struck down by the courts.)
Kenneth Burt, the author of "The Search for a
Civic Voice," a history of California Latino politics, credited Mahony for
keeping peace in Los Angeles between groups seeking power and those afraid of
losing it.
"He had a tremendous impact in empowering the
Latino community and in sending a powerful signal that the rise of Latinos
should not be seen as a threat," he said. "Even though he's Irish,
he's the first Latino cardinal in spirit."
All told, the taking of power has been stunning in
its breadth. A Loyola Marymount University study of the top 100 elected
positions in Los Angeles from 1959 to 2009 found that for years, only one man
-- Roybal -- made the list. The numbers increased only gradually until 1991,
when altered political lines and long-thwarted ambition pushed the percentage
of Latino seats to 18%. By last year, 33% were held by Latinos.
More subtle, perhaps, has been the more or less
tranquil way that change has been accomplished. Although there have been
periods of contention, the flow of power from whites and blacks to Latinos has
happened with far less gnashing than might have been expected years ago.
In part, that is because both politicians and
interest groups have worked at it. Los Angeles' mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa,
won election in his second attempt by attracting African American voters to go
along with the Latino and Jewish voters who had earlier supported him. One of
the main forces behind the career of former Assembly Speaker Karen Bass, an
African American now running for Congress, has been the Latino-dominated labor
movement.
Still, tensions are never far from view. The
Republican primary for governor is currently aboil with the subject of illegal
immigration, a perennial flash point. Although so far the issue has been of
little consequence in the campaign, its presence suggests that some element of
the public remains uncomfortable.
"I don't think you can get rid of so many
decades of that competition and animosity quickly," said GarcÃa Bedolla.
"I think it's going to be a while before we stop having that sense that
anything that is good for me is bad for you."

Feds Probe University’s Device To Help Illegal
Border Crossers
Last Updated: Wed, 04/07/2010 - 12:21pm
Nearly half a year after a professor at a public
university spent taxpayer dollars to create a tool that helps Mexicans enter
the United States illegally, the area’s congressional delegation has finally
decided to investigate the matter.
The activist Chicano professor (Ricardo Dominguez)
at the University of California San Diego, a major public institution not far
from the Mexican border, proudly announced his new invention—Transborder
Immigrant Tool—in November without scrutiny from university officials or the
feds. The idea is to help Mexicans enter the U.S. illegally by mapping the
safest routes through the notoriously rigorous southern border desert.
The innovative technology is a simple mobile
application —inserted into the cheapest available cell phone on the
market—which guides illegal aliens through the least dangerous routes, areas
with shelter, food, water and so-called Quaker help centers that provide
medical attention and directions to the nearest major U.S. highway. The mobile
program is touted as an “intelligent agent algorithm” that parses out the best
routes and trails on a particular day and hour so that Mexicans can cross the
“vertiginous landscape” as safely as possible.
Dominguez, a tenured visual arts professor, was
inspired to create the technology by the thousands of Mexicans who have died on
their journeys north because they got lost in the treacherous terrain. For months
he boasted about his new Transborder Immigrant Tool, but the publicity campaign
has come to a screeching halt and his tenure is at risk because federal
lawmakers are finally looking into the matter.
(CONGRESSMEN BILBRAY, AND HUNTER ARE TWO OF THE
VERY FEW ELECTED IN MEXIFORNIA NOT WORKING FOR EXPANDING THE MEXICAN INVASION)
The area’s three representatives in the U.S.
House—Brian Bilbray, Duncan Hunter and Darrell Issa—are demanding that the
university’s chancellor provide a precise accounting of public funds associated
with the Transborder Immigrant Tool. Referring to it as a “troubling use of
taxpayer dollars,” the legislators point out that those who worked on the
device may be committing a federal felony by encouraging illegal immigration.
Dominguez has dismissed the probe as a sort of
witch hunt, assuring that he used less than $10,000 in taxpayer grants and
suggesting the congressman should be more concerned about the cost of
investigating him. That amount, the professor believes, will be much more than
what he spent on the entire project to help illegal border crossers.
Mexico’s government has provided its nationals with
valuable tools to help them cross the border safely but Dominguez is the first
American resident, with a salary provided by U.S. taxpayers, to openly promote
such a gadget. A few years ago Mexican officials published a 32-page booklet
(Guia Del Migrante Mexicano) with safety tips for border crossers and
distributed hand-held satellite devices to ensure the violators complete their
journey safely.
MS-13 Member, Child Rapist Arrested Crossing into
Texas

Border Patrol agents
in the Rio Grande Valley Sector arrested an MS-13 gang member and a previously
convicted child rapist after they illegally crossed the border in two separate
incidents.
Agents assigned to the
Weslaco Station apprehended a Salvadoran national after he crossed the border
illegally Thursday night near the border town of Hidalgo, Texas. Agents
arrested the foreign national and transported him to the Weslaco station for
processing. During questioning, the man freely admitted to being a member of
the hyper-violent MS-13 criminal gang, according to information provided to
Breitbart Texas by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials. The man
is subject to prosecution for illegal entry as a gang member.
The following day,
agents from the McAllen Station observed a man entering the U.S. illegally near
Mission, Texas. Agents arrested the man and took him to the McAllen Border
Patrol Station where they learned Pharr, Texas, police officers previously
arrested him on charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. A court
convicted the Mexican national in 1999 and sentenced him to 25 years in prison.
He obtained early release and immigration officials removed him from the
country.
Previously convicted sex offenders are frequently
caught by Border Patrol agents as they attempt to get back into the U.S. where
they can continue their crimes.
Breitbart Texas’
Robert Arce reported on Tuesday about the arrest in Arizona of
another previously deported rapist arrested by Border Patrol agents. Agents
assigned to the Ajo Station arrested two illegal aliens near the town of Why,
Arizona. Agents transported the duo to the Ajo Station for processing where
they learned one of the men is a previously convicted rapist. Agents reported
that an Indiana court convicted 28-year-old Adan Jimenez-Alarcon in 2012 on
multiple counts of sexual battery. The court sentenced the man to three years
in prison. In 2015, an Arizona court sentence him to two years in prison for
failing to register as a sex offender. He now faces a felony charge of illegal
re-entry after being deported as a sex offender.
The man arrested with
Jimenez-Alarcon is also a previously convicted felon, CBP officials reported.
He is reportedly a Salvadoran national and is expected to face charges for
illegal re-entry after being removed as a convicted felon.

tractor-trailer approaching the inspection station located 80 miles from the
Texas/Mexico border. A K-9 agent alerted to the presence of something unusual
in the back end of the locked refrigerated trailer. Agents directed the driver,
a Guatemalan national, to a secondary inspection station, according to
information provided to Breitbart Texas by U.S. Customs and Border Protection
officials.
Upon unlocking the
trailer, agents discovered 60 illegal aliens lying on, and within, pallets of
broccoli lined with thin sheets of ice. The agents determined the temperature
inside the trailer to be 49 degrees.

Agents arrested the
foreign truck driver and seized the tractor-trailer. Officials offered
emergency medical treatment to the migrants. The illegal immigrants all
declined treatment.
The agents transported
the 60 individuals to the Falfurrias Border Patrol station for processing where
they determine the illegal immigrants came to the U.S. from four countries — 22
from Guatemala, 17 from Mexico, 13 from El Salvador, and 8 from Honduras.
“Criminal activity
like this will also lead to serious consequences for truck drivers who engage
in smuggling,” Rio Grande Valley Sector Chief Patrol Agent Manuel Padilla Jr.,
said in a written statement.
Another driver of a
refrigerated tractor-trailer now faces the death penalty if he is convicted in
a human smuggling case where ten illegal immigrants died after being locked in
the back end of a trailer in San Antonio. A federal grand jury indicted Florida
truck driver, James Matthew Bradley, Jr., on charges of transporting
Undocumented Aliens for Financial Gain Resulting in Death, Breitbart
Texas reported.
Investigators said in
the previously reported criminal complaint:
Bradley said he was
traveling from Laredo to San Antonio, after having the tractor-trailer washed
and detailed at a truck stop near Laredo. He intended to take the trailer to
Brownsville to deliver it to someone who had purchased it. He stopped at the Wal-Mart
and heard banging and shaking in the trailer.
One week ago, Border
Patrol agents in Edinburg, Texas, arrived on the scene of another incident of human
smugglers using a trailer to transport their human cargo. Family members in
Mexico called police to report people being locked in the back of a very hot
trailer.
The caller said their
relative was trapped inside a tractor-trailer parked at the Flying J truck stop
in Edinburg. When police arrived on the scene, they began a trailer-to-trailer
search. They eventually located a trailer where they received a response of
people knocking on the walls from inside.
Border Patrol agents
assigned to the Rio Grande Valley Sector also responded to the scene and helped
in the recovery and identification of the illegal aliens. Officials report they
detained two Cuban nationals (male and female) in connection to the human
smuggling case.
The callous human
smugglers kept the 17 illegal aliens locked in the hot trailer for eight to
nine hours, police stated.
Border Patrol K-9
teams are trained to detect the presence of drugs or human cargo in the back of
cars, trucks and trailers.

Illegal Alien Gets 40 Years in Prison for Getting His Daughter
Pregnant
Forrest County Jail.
A judge sentenced a
Mississippi man who entered the U.S. illegally to 40 years in prison for
getting his daughter pregnant.
Natalio
Vitervo-Vasquez pleaded guilty to Friday morning to sexual battery with a child
under 14-years-old, WDAM reports.
Prosecutors say the
girl, who was 11-years-old at the time, went to a medical center where it
was determined she was pregnant. Officials say she would have conceived
the child at ten years of age.
She told prosecutors
that Vitervo-Vasquez “touched her and gave her something to drink” after taking
her to a hotel room. She also told officials that the drink he gave her “made
her sleepy.”
WJW reports that she gave birth to a baby boy with
multiple birth defects in November 2016. The baby died in surgery at a hospital
in Jackson.
The prosecuting
district attorney in Jackson said DNA taken from the mother determined with
99.9 percent certainty that Vitervo-Vasquez was the father.
Vitero-Vasquez, who
prosecutors say was deported twice, did not have a social security number and
could not read or write.
The judge sentenced
Vasquez to 40 years in prison, ordering that he serve a mandatory minimum of 25
years and be deported immediately after he is released.
Other illegal aliens
have been in the news this week after being charged with raping a minor.
An illegal alien who was arrested last Sunday for allegedly raping a
7-year-old girl had been deported once before.

Spikes in Mexican Border State Capital as Cartel War Rages
Breitbart
Texas / Cartel Chronicles
CIUDAD VICTORIA, Tamaulipas — The capital of
this border state saw a recent spike in cartel violence after hitmen attacked a
local restaurant during business hours. The attack resulted in the murder of
the owner and injury to two of his employees. Hours prior to the
murder, this city had three other murders and other cartel attacks.
The Los
Zetas faction called Cartel Del Noreste or CDN took credit for the wave of
crime through Facebook pages that deal with security conditions in Tamaulipas.
In the case of the restaurant owner, the attack took place at his business,
Food Porn, in the northern part of the city. Authorities identified the murder
victim as Abraham Ramses Cardenas Islas. He died from multiple gunshots to the
body.
The
bullets also struck bartender Mario Herrera Urbina and a waiter, Rene Ramirez
Peña. The employees were only hurt in the attack, which took place during
business hours.
A few
minutes after the attack, Facebook posts in pages that deal with security
conditions in the state revealed that members of the CDN were taking credit for
the murder and issuing additional threats claiming that the business was a
money laundering front for their rivals with the Gulf Cartel and the Vieja
Escuela Zeta.
The CDN is an offshoot of Los Zetas that has been at war
with another offshoot called Vieja Escuela, Breitbart Texas
reported. The rival factions have been fighting over the cities that Los Zetas
used to control. In recent months, the CDN had suffered many casualties in
Ciudad Victoria but suddenly the cartel made a comeback setting off a fierce
wave of violence. The lack of security conditions that have affected this city
goes on without government officials being able to stop it or at least decrease
it.
Hours
after the murder at the restaurant, the CDN issued other threats during the
day. They threatened anyone who worked with their enemies.
Prior
to posting those messages in the southeastern part of the city, authorities
found the body of an unidentified man who had been shot twice in the head and
twice in the body.
Soon
after that murder, in the central part of the city, cartel gunmen executed two
men who were riding in a Dodge Dakota. The two men have been identified as
Cesar Del Angel Rodriguez Rodriguez and his cousin Adalberto Ramos Rodriguez.
Both men received two gunshots to the head.
A team
of gunmen also shot a student named Juan Fernando Sanchez Bustos. The
18-year-old was shot in the legs and had a grazing wound to his head. Medical
personnel rushed him to a local hospital. The teen is allegedly tied to
organized crime.

Hanging from Overpass As Cartel War Rages in Mexico
File Photo: LUIS ACOSTA/AFP/Getty Images
A body hanging from a bridge next to a painted
warning reveals the ongoing horrors that Los Zetas continue to spread
throughout Mexico in their protracted war for drug trafficking territories.
This week, members of the
Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas executed a man and hung him from an
overpass above a busy highway in the city of Matehuala, San Luis Potosi. The
gory sight included a message painted on the cardboard that was left at the crime
scene. Photographs were shared on social media by citizen
journalists.
The cardboard was
signed by an unknown figure known only as Comandante GAFE with the CDN. The
message claimed the cartel was cleaning the “plaza” or cartel territory,
pointing to an escalation of violence in the once quiet region. The GAFE
nickname hints to some of the original Zetas who were Mexican Special Forces
(GAFES). The nickname was also used by a currently jailed Gulf Cartel boss who
operated in the border city of Reynosa.
For over a year, rival factions of Los Zetas have fought for control of
lucrative trafficking territories and routes into the U.S.,
Breitbart Texas reported. One faction, known as Vieja Escuela Zeta or “Old
School Z”, had begun attacking the regions previously held by the Zeta faction
known as CDN. Initially, the fighting took place in the border states of
Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon, and Coahuila, however, non-border states like San Luis
Potosi have begun to see a spike in cartel violence. The fighting is mostly
reflected in gory executions and targeted attacks.
San Luis Potosi serves as a
midway point for cartels moving drugs or human cargo from the coastal areas or
the central part of Mexico to the border states of Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, and
Coahuila.

DOJ: 13 MS-13 Gang
Members Arrested in Ohio, Indiana

(CNSNews.com) - The
Justice Department announced Tuesday that 13 members and
associates of the MS-13 gang were arrested in Central Ohio and Indiana.
A total of 15
suspected MS-13 members were charged with federal crimes - 10 of them with
conspiracy to commit extortion, conspiracy to commit money laundering and use
of a firearm during a crime of violence. Five defendants were charged with
reentering the country after deportation. Two of the 15 alleged MS-13 gang
members are fugitives.

Drug cartels and gangs
in Mexico are altering religions and engaging in brutal crimes as forms of
worship

Drug cartels and street gangs in Mexico are creating their own
religions and altering beliefs in existing Catholic saints, in a move to
create a new “narcoculture” that tries to morally justify crime and violence.
Some of these new figures of worship are existing Catholic
saints, most of which have had their meaning altered for the narcoculture.
Some are pulled from Aztec gods worshipped through human sacrifice, while
others are new creations altogether.
The two most popular figures of worship in Mexico are products
of this new narcoculture. The most popular is St. Jude Thaddeus, also
called “Saint Judas,” while the second most popular is a newly created folk
saint called Santa Muerte, “Saint Death.”
For the rest of Mexico, the growth in popularity of narco saints
presents a moral crisis, since they are not only being used to alter the
traditional, morally based faiths, but also to create a new system of morals
that supports violent crime.
What is taking place in Mexico is a form of “spiritual
appropriation,” whereby the existing religion is being altered to justify a
criminal insurgency, according to Robert J. Bunker, adjunct research professor
at the Strategic Studies Institute at U.S. Army War College.
There is a spectrum of beliefs in Mexico that ties directly to
the growth of crime. Bunker said at one extreme, there are those who adhere to
traditional Catholicism and other morally based religions. At the other extreme
“would be those individuals whom we consider to be ‘evil’ in their value
system.”
Yet as the narcoculture continues to develop, it is becoming
harder for people to differentiate the legitimate figures from the newly
created “narco saints.” Bunker noted the case of Saint Judas, a legitimate
Catholic saint now commonly worshipped for protection by smugglers, bandits,
gangs, and drug cartel members.
He said a slightly more extreme case is the new “bandit saint,”
Santo Niño Huachicolero, which is an alteration of a legitimate Catholic saint,
Santo Niño de Atocha, or “Holy Child of Atocha.”
The Catholic News Service warned of the newly altered saint on
May 12, noting that it was created by a gang of gasoline thieves known as
“huachicoleros” southeast of Mexico City who altered the image of the Christ
child to show him holding a gas can and hose. It cites Father Paulo Carvajal,
archdiocesan spokesman, as stating: “This image can never be accepted. Being a
‘huachicolero’ is practically a crime. The church cannot be in favor of this,
much less be in favor that images are used in this way.”
Carvajal said the new saint is being used to “deceive” people.
Locals following the new saint have even protested to defend the gas thieves
from law enforcement.
Bunker noted the significance of the phenomena, saying, “A
venerated 13th-century Catholic saint has just been ‘spiritually hijacked’ by
criminal elements in Mexico and recast as the patron deity of gasoline thieves
before our eyes.”
With the creation of the new saint, “another demographic, albeit
a relatively small one, has just further rationalized their criminal
behaviors—which are at odds with state authority—by having someone to pray to
in order to achieve success in their gasoline-stealing endeavors,” he said.
“From a Catholic Church and traditional Mexican societal
perspective, another grouping of people just ‘jumped ship’ and went over to the
narco and criminal elements of society in both their hearts and minds.”
‘Left-Hand’ Saints
The cases of sanctioned Catholic saints relate to spiritual
appropriation, according to Bunker, whereby people are altering religions to
justify acts—such as theft and smuggling—that would traditionally violate the
religion.

Knights Templar cartel, is from. (AFP PHOTO/RONALDO SCHEMIDT/Getty Images)
On a spectrum that classifies beliefs on a “left-hand path” as
ones that could be viewed as purely evil and on a “right-hand path” as ones
of traditional morals, these new saints and figures fall from the middle
to the left.
Bunker describes the spectrum of narco saints in the book “Blood
Sacrifices: Violent Non-State Actors and Dark Magico-Religious Activities,”
published in 2016.
Many cartels and criminal organizations in Mexico can no longer
be viewed as merely conventional criminal groups, since many of them
use narco saints to try to justify, or even sanctify, their crimes.
The Familia Michoacana cartel and the Caballeros Templarios
cartel, which are two of the largest drug cartels in Mexico, worship the newly
created San Nazario, “The Craziest One.” Their crimes play a direct role in
their worship of their manufactured saint, who they believe requires torture,
ritual killing, and cannibalism.
The Sinaloa cartel worships an unsanctioned saint of drug
traffickers, bandits, and outlaws that they refer to as “Jesús Malverde,” also
known as “Generous Bandit.”
Even “Saint Death,” which carries the image of the grim reaper,
has a strong criminal following. According to “Blood Sacrifices,” the new “folk
saint” is worshipped by the Los Zetas cartel, the El Gulfo cartel factions, and
by many other gangs. Their worship often includes ritual killing, offering of
human body parts, and cannibalism.
Mid-sized Mexican gangs and criminal outfits also have their
manufactured saints. The Mexican Mafia, the Sureños, and Barrio Azteca, for
example, worship the Aztec war god Huitzilopochtli. Bunker notes that while the
deity’s requirements are often less gruesome than the new saints
worshipped by many cartels, it is still used to justify the ideology of violent
crime.
A Social Dilemma
For the rest of Mexico, the growth in popularity of narco saints
presents a moral crisis, since they are not only being used to alter the
traditional, morally based faiths, but also to create a new system of morals
that supports violent crime.
In the conventional view of crime in the United States, people
in criminal gangs are often motivated by financial gain, are pulled into lives
of crime due to poverty or poor education, or join the gangs for a sense of belonging.
Bunker noted that while this conventional understanding of gangs
and organized crime may still be largely accurate in the United States, it
cannot be used to understand Mexican cartels or related Latin American gangs
such as MS-13 and 18th Street.
These groups, he said, “are evolving into something much more
dangerous that blurs our understanding of criminal activity and warfare.”
He said they have become “challengers to the state” and have carved out their
own territories in many countries where they can act with impunity.
The creation of new religions only adds to the severity of the
threat. He said the groups’ criminality is “no longer just secular,” since they
have added a new spiritual component to their actions, and they are now
spreading these new ideologies among the general population—creating warped,
“criminalized” societies.
Bunker noted that Americans and Europeans often see the world
through “utilitarian, rationalistic, liberal democratic and secular colored
lenses,” and these “perceptual biases” often prevent them from seeing that some
groups may have perceptions completely different from their own.
“This is why—as a nation—the U.S. falls into recurrent traps of
our own making,” he said, noting the U.S. attempts at nation-building in
countries like Afghanistan that have often overlooked the tribal and factional
cultures in those countries and their illicit markets in opium production.
The same has applied to other areas, including with drug cartels
and terrorist groups. He said this perceptual bias has prevented many in the
United States from being able to understand that “some people, such as members
of a specific cartel or a terrorist group, may kill for sport and pleasure—as
in the case of Los Zetas—or truly believe that they are doing god’s work while
beheading someone, as in the case of Islamic State adherents.”

Illegal Alien Who
Allegedly Killed Woman is Free in Mexico, Says Husband
LVMP
The man who allegedly killed a woman in Las Vegas, Nevada, is
now walking free in Mexico after being released by federal immigration
officials, according to the victim’s husband.
Billy and Kathy Dolan were married for 30 years when one day,
the man received a message from the local coroner’s office that his wife had
been killed in a car accident, according to FOX 5 News.
“We were both stopped at a red light and I looked over at her
and thought ‘There she is,’” Dolan told FOX 5. “I don’t usually stare, but this
time I did, and the car behind me actually honked because the light turned
green. Was this God telling me this is the last time I was going to see her
alive.”
Police told Dolan that his wife had been struck by 30-year-old
illegal alien Alfredo Vazquez-Orozco as he was allegedly drunk-driving at a
high speed. The GoFundMe page for Kathy’s funeral donations say
she was “on her way for a kidney dialysis treatment on the west side of Las
Vegas.”
“Kathy always went early so she would have the rest of her day
to recover, be with her husband Billy, and her beloved cats,” the page states.
Following the crash, the illegal alien was charged with a DUI
for the death of Kathy and drug possession. According to Dolan, the man did not
remain in police custody long before he was released to Mexico:
He said no one has been keeping him in the loop about what is
going on with his wife’s case so he called the District Attorney’s office to ask.
That’s when he was told that Vazquez-Orozco was a free man in Mexico.
“They walked him to the border and just let him go,” Billy said.
Dolan is now looking to hire a legal help to find his wife’s
alleged killer in Mexico, saying without justice for his wife, he struggles to
live day-to-day.
“When I wake up, I think about her, I kiss her, I hold her, this
is all I have,” Dolan told FOX 5.
