Al Sharpton: Royal Wedding Proves White Supremacy ‘on Its Last Breath’

The Reverend Al Sharpton has claimed that the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and the mixed-race actress Meghan Markle is evidence that white supremacy is “on its last breath.”

Sharpton made the remarks while speaking at his weekly National Action Network rally Saturday in Harlem as the Royal Wedding took place.
“When you got little white girls in Wales saying, ‘I want to be like Meghan,’ there’s a shift worldwide that white male supremacy is on its last breath,” Sharpton said.
He went on to suggest that now many young girls look up to successful black women, a fact he says is concerning to many white parents, and a fear that he says was exploited by President Donald J. Trump.
“When you have little white girls in Arkansas look up and say, ‘I want to be beautiful and smart like Michelle Obama,” he continued. “I want to dress like the Obama girls (Sasha and Malia),’ that’s where that white supremacy is questioned. White parents in their living room say, ‘We’ve got to do something.’ That’s what Trump played on.”
The 63-year-old civil rights activist added that many white supremacists are “losing their minds” as black people continue to improve their lives in modern America.
“They’re losing their minds because the world is passing away where they are the standard,” he added. “Where they decide what is beauty, where they decide what is of intellectual depth.”
Markle, however, has previously described scrutiny of her background and ethnicity as “disheartening,” adding that she would prefer people to see her for who she is.
“You know it’s it’s a shame that that is the climate in this world to focus that much on that or that that would be discriminatory in that sense but I think you know at the end of the day I’m really just proud of who I am and where I come from, and we have never put any focus on that,” she said in an interview with the BBC last year.

My girl's a princess! Meghan's proud American mom Doria holds hands with Prince Charles after sitting alone and shedding a tear during emotional ceremony

  • Doria Ragland appeared overcome with emotion as she watched her daughter marry at St George's Chapel
  • She had escorted Meghan to Windsor Castle in a Rolls-Royce Phantom IV on the way to the ceremony
  • Following the wedding she was seen walking arm in arm with Prince Charles and Camilla
  • Doria was only member of the Markle family to attend the wedding, after bride's father Thomas dropped out
Doria Ragland was the picture of pride as she watched her daughter Meghan Markle marry Prince Harry at St George's Chapel on Saturday.
The 61-year-old appeared to fight back tears as she took her seat in St George's Chapel, after accompanying her daughter on the short car journey from Cliveden House, where she spent her final night as a single woman.
Her now son-in-law Prince Harry, eager to offer her some reassurance, was seen turning to catch her eye from the altar.
Doria was Meghan's sole relative inside St George’s Chapel on her wedding day, after her father Thomas Markle - who had been due to walk his daughter down the aisle - revealed he'd suffered a heart attack and would not be travelling from the US to attend.
But following the ceremony, it became clear how quickly Doria has been accepted into the royal fold, as she emerged from the chapel on the arm of Prince Charles, whose wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, was on the other side.
There she posed for her first photograph as the mother to a princess, standing alongside the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Queen herself, and looking chic in a pistachio green coat and matching dress by Oscar de la Renta.

Keep it chic in a collarless coat like Doria in Oscar de la Renta

Watching daughter Meghan Markle marry Prince Harry was a a big day for Doria Ragland, so she ensured her outfit was the perfect choice for the mother of the bride.
Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim of Oscar de la Renta were the designers she turned to for the big day and the decision paid off as Doria looked fabulous in her matching dress and coat in green.
The co-ordinating look was finished with white floral details that set it off and she matched her hat color to the embroidery.

Doria had accompanied Meghan from Cliveden House, in Taplow, Berkshire, where she spent her final night as a single woman before officially joining the royal family as the wife of the sixth in line to the British throne.
Their journey gave eager royal fans their first glimpse of the bride, who looked stunning in a gown by the British designer Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy - complete with a 15ft veil embroidered with flowers of the Commonwealth.
Doria beamed and gazed adoringly at her daughter in the back of her wedding car as they made the short trip to St George's Chapel.
Their chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce Phantom IV, which was built and delivered to the Queen in 1950, was also used by Kate Middleton for her trip to Westminster Abbey when she married William seven years ago.
The two women could be seen chatting, and a relaxed-looking Meghan gave a brief wave, as the vintage Rolls-Royce Phantom IV, left for the drive to the Windsor Castle.
The spotlight on Doria Ragland dimmed in the run-up to her daughter Meghan’s marriage into the world’s most famous family, after it was announced the responsibility of accompanying the former Suits actress down the aisle would be given to her father-in-law-to-be, rather than her mother.
It had been expected by some that Doria, a yoga instructor and social worker from California, would take on the role vacated days earlier by Meghan’s father, whose health issues left him unable to perform the duty.
He remained in the US on Saturday as his daughter said her vows.

Ahead of a service witnessed by more than 100 inside the chapel, thousands outside, and millions around the world, the car journey afforded Doria her own private moment with her daughter.
From her front-row seat inside the service, surrounded by the bride’s long-time friends Jessica Mulroney, Benita Litt and Genevieve Hillis, the proud mother could be seen enjoying the animated address by Chicago preacher, the Most Rev Bishop Michael Curry.
She smiled, nodded, and appeared to bite her lip slightly during the vows.

And, in a physical totem of her introduction into the Royal family, she accepted the outstretched hand of the father of the groom as they filed to witness the signing of the registers, before her daughter and new son-in-law were left to drink in the warm wishes of the many gathered in Windsor to witness the spectacle.
Last night Meghan looked stunning as she arrived with her mother Doria Ragland, 62, after enjoying afternoon tea with the Queen.
The presence of Ms Ragland, 61, who is extremely close to her daughter and still calls her ‘flower’, will have undoubtedly calmed any pre-wedding nerves for Meghan, during what has been an unexpectedly fraught and hugely emotional week.
The yoga instructor flew into Heathrow on an overnight flight from Los Angeles last week.

Dressed casually in a T-shirt, linen trousers and canvas pumps, and carrying a suit bag containing what is believed to be her Burberry wedding outfit, she was picked up from the steps of the aircraft by a royal fleet Jaguar.
She was driven to Heathrow’s VIP Windsor suite, where Harry’s assistant private secretary Amy Pickerill was waiting with an immigration officer. A member of staff from the private office carried her bags.
Miss Ragland, described as a ‘free spirit’ by her daughter and ‘amazing’ by Harry, was taken straight to Kensington Palace.
She did not have long to shake off any effects of jet lag - just 24 hours later she met with the Queen, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

California Couple Denies

Torture of Their 10 Children

Despite Squalor

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/05/15/california-couple-denies-torture-10-children-despite-squalor/

Ina Rogers, Jonathan Allen: 10 kids removed from California home; Mom, dad deny tortureSolano County Sheriff
15 May 201841

Jonathan Allen, 29, pleaded not guilty to nine

counts of felony torture and six counts of

felony child abuse on Monday.

Allen is being held on a more-than $5 million bail, while his wife Ina Rogers is free on $10,000 bail. Like him, she denies the allegations of torture and abuse, even after “the children described incidents of intentional abuse resulting in puncture wounds, burns, bruising and injuries consistent with being shot with a pellet gun or airsoft gun,” according to Fairfield Police Lt. Greg Hurlbut.
“Officers located unsafe and unsanitary living conditions including garbage and spoiled food on the floor, animal and human feces and a large amount of debris making areas of the house unpassable,” Hurlbut said. If not for the couple’s own reports of a missing child, the children might still be suffering in those conditions today.
The investigation subsequent to the return of the Allens’ missing 12-year-old son revealed “a long and continuous history of severe physical and emotional abuse of the children,” with claims stretching as far back as 2014. Still, Rogers maintains their innocence. Despite the “sadistic” treatment that Solano County prosecutor Sharon Henry said the children described, Rogers was unapologetic. “My husband is an amazing person,” she said, “I am an amazing mother. I am not going to allow this to break us and I’m not going to stop fighting.”
“I am horrified by the statements that were given by these children,” Henry said. “We have the children first and foremost in our minds. And as a parent, first and foremost in my heart.” The only silver lining to this tragic tale is that those children are, at least for now, free of their self-proclaimed “amazing” parents.
