MUSLIMS : GLOBAL TERRORIST at America's open doors

In a new report prepared by the RAND Corporation for the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS), the European Union (E.U.) acknowledges what many national security experts have been arguing for years:
This Cost of Non-Europe report argues that since 2004, terrorism has cost the EU about €185 billion in lost Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and around €5.6 billion in lost lives, injuries, and damage to infrastructure.  It is argued that terrorism also harms trade, foreign direct investment and tourism (with immediate but often short-lived consequences in this latter respect), as well as transport[.] ...
In most Member States, law enforcement activities have clearly focused on jihadist groups and individuals, as illustrated by 718 of 1002 arrests for terrorist offences across the EU in 2016 related to jihadist violent extremism.  According to Europol, in the same year, jihadist attacks accounted for almost all reported terrorism-related fatalities and most of the casualties.
Jihadist terrorism is defined specifically by the EPRS and Europol as being conducted by Muslims in the name of Islam.  Consequently, the report inevitably concludes that almost all terrorism-related deaths and injuries within the E.U. in recent years derive from Muslims practicing the Islamic faith.  Because the overwhelming majority of direct and indirect economic costs due to terrorism arose from events that killed or injured people, the resulting math is simple: over the past 15 years, jihadist terrorism has cost E.U. member-states almost €200 billion (or U.S. $230 billion).
The increasing costs of terrorism in the E.U. are directly linked by the report to Muslim immigration, which has skyrocketed over the past decade:
Whereas the terrorism threat as such is not new to the EU, it has evolved over recent decades.  The emergence of jihadism as a major security concern marks a shift from essentially non-religious terrorism, mostly restricted to specific Member States, which defined the security landscape of the EU for many decades, towards one that instrumentalises religion and often has a cross-border dimension.
About half of the total economic damage from terrorism that took place between 2004 and 2016 occurred during the past few years (2013 to 2016), consistent withgrowth trends in the E.U.'s Muslim population.
The report also cites Europol's conclusion from last year that "a range of terrorist threats of a violent jihadist nature [pose] the key terrorist threat to the EU" and that such threats are "continuing to rise," consistent with the increasing contribution of Muslims to the overall E.U. demographic.  Far from being vague or politically correct on this issue, Europol is unequivocally clear regarding the security threat from unrestricted Muslim immigration: "Migration flows are relevant to the terrorist threat, with irregular migrant flows having been 'exploited in order to dispatch terrorist operatives clandestinely to Europe.'"
Around 30% of all foreign terrorist fighters who went to fight with ISIS in Iraq and Syria have already returned to their countries of departure – posing a particular threat to the E.U., the report goes on to note.
Unfortunately for the E.U., its lax immigration policies and enforcement of political correctness doctrines within and outside its national security apparatus created and reinforced this problem and precluded timely and effective responses being taken at an early stage.  The warning lights have been flashing red over the E.U.'s dangerous immigration policies for well over a decade.  Unless more serious efforts are undertaken to fully acknowledge the scope of the problem, and the necessary steps are taken to deal with it – such as a complete moratorium on further immigration from the geographies and ideologies of concern that Europol and other agencies have already identified as the source of almost all terrorism – the crisis will only deepen.

Report: Nigeria May Lose over $400 Million to Terrorism a Year

Nigeria is facing widespread unrest, from Boko Haram's Islamist insurgency in the northeast to a resurgence of violence in a long-running dispute over land and resources in central states

A study by the global insurer Lloyd’s found that Nigeria may be losing $437 million a year in terrorism losses, the Nigerian newspaper Vanguard reported on Monday. Nigeria is home to several Islamist insurgencies, most notably the Islamic State affiliate Boko Haram and the violent Fulani herdsmen.

Vanguard cites Lloyd’s 2018 City Risk Index as finding that Nigeria “could lose $437 million, about N157.32 billion, of its Gross Domestic Product, GDP, annually to terrorism, to rank third in the world on forecast GDP loss.” While Nigeria’s most active terrorist groups are primarily active in the northeast – Borno state is the birthplace of Boko Haram – Lloyd’s reportedly cited Nigeria’s largest city, Lagos, as one of the regions of highest concern. Lagos is a coastal city in the nation’s southeast, in the heart of Nigeria’s Christian population. Nigeria is nearly evenly divided between Christian and Muslim populations. The service noted concerns regarding climate change as high on the list of potential disasters that could bring down the GDP of the city.
“Lagos, the largest city in oil-rich Nigeria, faces geopolitical and security threats,” the Lloyd’s report read, according to Vanguard. “Lagos is a coastal city and will most likely be affected adversely by sea level rise caused by climate change. For example, flooding in 2017 caused disruption and economic loss in the Lekki and Victoria Island areas of the city. Rising water levels which could also assist the spread of disease and human pandemic is the fourth-costliest risk, about $265 million, facing the city.”
A collapse in the Nigerian economy, Africa’s largest, could be devastating for the continent. The World Bank notes that Nigeria is home to 47 percent of West Africa’s population and relies heavily on oil to keep its GDP afloat, which hurts its stability. Nigeria is large enough that many corporations invest in works in the south of the country without worrying about Boko Haram or the Fulani in the central and northern regions of the country but, if President Muhammadu Buhari does not curb the insurgencies soon, they may grow to threaten the whole of the nation.
The Fulani herdsmen are a Muslim group and typically clash with Christian farmers, who the herdsman complain are taking away their grazing land to grow crops. In the most recent terrorist attack by the Fulani, herdsmen killed 120 people and burned down dozens of homes in several villages in central Plateau state, not far from the capital, Abuja. Nigerian military officials confirmed 11 deaths, then 56, then 86, though local media say the number is far above 100, and counted hundreds of additional casualties.
Buhari issued a statement on Twitter calling the atrocity “very painful and regrettable” and asserting, “We will not rest until all murderers and criminal elements and their sponsors are incapacitated and brought to justice.”
Boko Haram, meanwhile, continues to plague the nation’s northeast. Local sources told the Associated Press (AP) that four civilians were killed this weekend in Borno state in a raid and suicide bomb attack that also resulted in the burning of homes and vehicles. While Boko Haram has released many of the girls and women it has abducted since escalating its mass kidnapping operations in 2014, at least one girl abducted this year, 15-year-old Leah Sharibu, remains in captivity because she has refused to embrace Islam and abandon her Christian faith. The other 110 girls kidnapped from her school in Dapchi have seen been released.

Le Pen: Pro-Mass Migration EU Can’t Be Trusted on Borders, Migrant Boats Should Be Sent Back to Africa

National Rally leader Marine Le Pen has warned that the EU is ‘immigrationist’ and cannot be trusted to control Europe’s borders, and says illegal migrants trying to cross the Mediterranean should be sent back to Africa.

The veteran campaigner was defeated by globalist poster boy Emmanuel Macron in France’s 2017 presidential elections, but was estimated to have won almost half of the youth vote and around two-thirds of the working-class vote, and was returned to the National Assembly as the representative for the Pas-de-Calais shortly afterwards.
After reforming and rebranding the old Front National as the National Rally, she has reemerged as an active voice against Macron, whose popularity has declined precipitously since his election.
Le Pen used her recent FranceInfo interview to attack the French president for denouncing the populist movements rising across Europe in general and Italy in particular as a kind of “leprosy”, saying his comments “insult not only tens of millions of Europeans but rulers of countries of the European Union”.

Le Pen praised Matteo Salvini, who leads the nationalist Lega party which makes up one half of Italy’s new populist coalition government, for being “the first to say ‘no'” to the immigration policies of a European Union which she described as being “in full implosion”.
She backed Salvini’s decision to close Italy’s ports to NGO ‘rescue’ ships collecting migrants from a few miles off the North African coast and ferrying them to distant European harbours, noting that 80 percent of Italians support the measure and recommending that migrants should be taken “back to their port of departure in Libya”.
Such a policy has been successfully operated by Australia for some years, which was another popular destination for boat-borne illegal migrants — many of whom drowned on the way — until the government made it their policy to turn back any and all boats, either sending them back the way they came of dropping them off for processing in third countries.

Le Pen argued that the key to resolving the current crisis is not more European Union involvement, but the return of immigration to national control, and the abolition of the borderless, intra-EU Schengen area once denounced as “effectively an international passport-free zone for terrorists” by Interpol chief Robert Noble.
“The European Union, in reality, wants heavy immigration to EU countries,” she explained.
“To entrust [the EU] to fight against immigration does not seem reasonable to me.”

ICE Targets Female Genital Mutilation Through Operation Limelight USA

(CNSNews.com) - Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is spearheading an effort to bring awareness to female genital mutilation with the launch of Operation Limelight USA.

The initiative, which began on June 19th at Newark International Airport, is designed to inform passengers traveling to countries that have a high risk for such practices as well as the potential criminal, immigration and child protective consequences of transporting a child to another country to perform female genital mutilation on that child.

This program was piloted last year at John F. Kennedy International Airport and was deemed “incredibly successful.”

Brett Dreyer, assistant special in charge, HSI Newark, and who led Operation Limelight at JFK, said, “Our aim here is three-fold regarding this brutal practice. Enforcement is a key piece here, but so is outreach and prevention. This is why we have partnered with other government agencies, NGOs and, most importantly, survivors and advocates from the community to share knowledge and resources so we may collectively end this practice.”

Dreyer will be leading Operation Limelight at Newark this year.

According to ICE, female genital mutilation “is a serious human rights violation, and a gender-specific form of child abuse.”

“This harmful traditional practice negatively affects millions of women and girls around the world, and is concentrated in thirty-one countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East,” ICE stated on its website.

Female genital mutilation is either specifically outlawed or falls under child abuse statutes in the United States.

However, in April 2017, a Detroit emergency room physician was arrested and charged with performing female genital mutilation on girls six to eight years old. This is the first case in the United States of an individual facing prosecution for female genital mutilation.

U.S. Pays for Palestinian School Books that Glorify Terrorism, Promote Extremism

JUNE 21, 2018
In a ghastly waste of taxpayer dollars, the U.S. government helps pay for Palestinian school books that glorify terrorism and promote extremism. The Palestinian Authority (PA) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) uses the radical material to educate about 300,000 students in grades 1 through 11 at hundreds of schools in Gaza and the West Bank. The curriculum and inciting materials are largely funded by the U.S., which is by far the UNRWA’s biggest financial supporter.
As the UNRWA’s largest donor in 2017, Uncle Sam doled out a whopping $364 million, more than double the amount of the second-largest contributor, the European Union. The money helps provide millions of Palestinians throughout the Middle East with healthcare, food, schools and other vital services. Earlier this year the Trump administration slashed the funding by more than $300 million until the UNRWA, part of the famously corrupt United Nations, makes critical changes. The head of the UNRWA said in a mainstream news report that the shortfall in U.S. funding means there may not be enough money to re-open schools in August and September for the new academic year. Considering the PA curriculum that’s a good thing and likely part of the change that the Trump administration is seeking.
PA textbooks are radical, glorify martyrdom, demonize Israel, encourage war and teach children that Palestinian statehood can be achieved through violence. An in-depth analysis conducted by a research group that exposes intolerance in school textbooks found that the books “groom young Palestinians to sacrifice themselves to martyrdom,” promote the idea of a mass “return” to Israel, and “feature a radical Islamist, and occasionally, a Salafi worldview.” The probe found that inflammatory language is found in textbooks across the curriculum and that, besides eliminating Israel, the Palestinian curriculum routinely glorifies terrorism. Enraging passages and graphics from dozens of textbooks are included throughout the report. For instance, in a fifth-grade Arabic textbook jihad and martyrdom are celebrated as “the most important meanings of life.” A renowned Palestinian terrorist (Dala Mughrabi) responsible for the 1978 murder of 38 people—including 13 children—near Tel Aviv is described as a hero that students should be proud of.
The probe examined 66 textbooks from the overall curriculum and the report touches on a number of topics such as the concepts of jihadism and radicalization associated with religious teachings, including martyrdom and the PA’s relationship to global Islamism. “The curriculum exerts pressure over young Palestinians to acts of violence in a more extensive and sophisticated manner,” the review found. “The discourse is couched in terms of nationalist and religious martyrdom, across science, literature, history and religious education textbooks.” The analysis focused on the 2017-18 PA curriculum, which marked the first full reform of the Palestinian curriculum since 2000. “Radicalization is pervasive across this new curriculum, to a greater extent than before,” investigators found, adding that “with a comprehensive and oft-stated justification for defensive (obligatory) jihad, the curriculum’s focus appears to have expanded from demonization of Israel to providing a rationale for war.” Animosity toward Western imperialism and Europe in general is also widespread across the new PA curriculum.
To ensure that American taxpayers don’t continue to fund this outrageous education system, Congress has introduced a law that forces the government to verify that the PA isn’t using material that encourages “violence or intolerance toward other nations or ethnic groups.” Officially known as Palestinian Authority Educational Curriculum Transparency Act, the measure would force the State Department, which doles out the cash to the UNRWA, to verify that the PA educational material meets international standards of peace and tolerance. Specifically, the law requires the Secretary of State to submit annual reports reviewing the educational material used by the PA and the UNRWA. “The new Palestinian curriculums fail to meet the international standards of peace and tolerance in educational materials established by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization,” the bill states. “Textbooks used by the Palestinian Authority and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the West Bank and Gaza demonize Israel, encourage war, and teach children that Palestinian statehood can be achieved through violence.”

...And the US failure regarding the jihad threat.
