Friday, gay waiters at the Red Hen in Lexington, Virginia, appalled that White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was being served, had the chef call the owner. All decided to ask Sanders' party to leave.
When news reached the left coast, Congresswoman Maxine Waters was ecstatic, yelling to a crowd, "God is on our side!"
Maxine's raving went on: "And so, let's stay the course. Let's make sure we show up wherever ... you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere."
Apparently, the left had been issued its marching orders.
Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was heckled and booed at a Mexican restaurant last week, and then hassled by a mob outside her home. White House aide Steven Miller was called out as a "fascist" while dining in D.C. Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was driven from a movie theater.
Last June, the uglier side of leftist politics turned lethal. James Hodgkinson, 66-year-old volunteer in Bernie Sanders' campaign, opened fire on GOP congressmen practicing for their annual baseball game with the Democrats.
House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was wounded, almost mortally. Had it not been for Scalise's security detail, Hodgkinson might have carried out a mass atrocity.
And the cultural atmosphere is becoming toxic.
Actor Robert De Niro brings a Hollywood crowd to its feet with cries of "F—- Trump!" Peter Fonda says that 12-year-old Barron Trump should be locked up with pedophiles. Comedienne Kathy Griffin holds up a picture of the decapitated head of the president.
To suggest what may be happening to the separated children of illegal migrants, ex-CIA Director Michael Hayden puts on social media a photo of the entrance to the Nazi camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau.
What does this tell us about America in 2018?
The left, to the point of irrationality, despises a triumphant Trumpian right and believes that to equate it with fascists is not only legitimate, but a sign that the accusers are the real moral, righteous and courageous dissenters in these terrible times.
Historians are calling the outbursts of hate unprecedented. They are not.
In 1968, mobs cursed Lyndon Johnson, who had passed all the civil rights laws, howling, "Hey, hey, LBJ: How many kids did you kill today!"
After Dr. King's assassination, a hundred cities, including the capital, were looted and burned. Scores died. U.S. troops and the National Guard were called out to restore order. Soldiers returning from Vietnam were spat upon. Cops were gunned down by urban terrorists. Bombings and bomb attempts were everyday occurrences. Campuses were closed down. In May 1971, tens of thousands of radicals went on a rampage to shut down D.C.
A cautionary note to progressives: Extremism is how the left lost the future to Nixon and Reagan.
But though our media may act like this is 1968, we are not there, yet. That was history; this is still largely farce.
The comparisons with Nazi Germany are absurd. Does anyone truly believe that the centers where the children of illegal migrants are being held, run as they are by liberal bureaucrats from the Department of Health and Human Services, are like Stalin's Gulag or Hitler's camps?
This is hyperbole born of hysteria and hate.
Consider. Two million Americans are in jails and prisons, all torn from their families and children. How many TV hours have been devoted to showing what those kids are going through?
Thirty percent of all American children grow up with only one parent.
How many TV specials have been devoted to kids separated for months, sometimes years, sometimes forever, from fathers and mothers serving in the military and doing tours of duty overseas in our endless wars?
Because of U.S. support for the UAE-Saudi war against the Houthi rebels in Yemen, hundreds of thousands of children face the threat of famine. Those Yemeni kids are not being served burgers in day care centers.
How many Western TV cameras are recording their suffering?
When it comes to the rhetoric of hate, the cursing of politicians, the shouting down of speakers, the right is not innocent, but the left is infinitely more guilty. It was to the Donald Trump rallies, not the Bernie Sanders rallies, that the provocateurs came to start the fights.
Why? Because if you have been told and believe your opponents are fascists, then their gatherings are deserving not of respect but of disruption.
And, as was true in the 1960s, if you manifest your contempt, you will receive the indulgence of a media that will celebrate your superior morality.

Judicial Watch: Maxine Waters ‘Seems to Be in Violation of House Rule;’ Ethics Complaint Filed

Rep. Maxine Waters’ (D-CA) recent comments encouraging people to “push back” on President Donald Trump’s cabinet members seems to be in violation of House rule, government watchdog Judicial Watch said in a June 25 statementannouncing its request for an ethics investigation.
“In encouraging individuals to create ‘crowds’ who will ‘push back’ on President Trump’s Cabinet members at private business establishments and in seemingly trying to prevent these Cabinet officials from obtaining basic necessities without fear of assault and violence, Rep. Waters seems to be violation of House rule,” Judicial Watch said.
“Rep. Maxine Waters incited violence and assault against members of President Trump’s Cabinet,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “It is urgent that the House ethics quickly act to hold her accountable for this dangerous incitement,” Fitton said. A formal request for an ethics investigation into Waters’ behavior has been submitted, the statement says:
“Judicial Watch on Monday sent a hand-delivered letter to the chairman and co-chairman of the House Office of Congressional Ethics calling for an investigation into whether Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) violated House ethics rules by encouraging violence against Trump administration Cabinet members.”
In a June 25 letter to the Office of Congressional Ethics co-chairman, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton writes:
Rep. Waters seems to be in violation of House rules, specifically:A Member, Delegate, Resident Commissioner, officer, or employee of the House shall conduct himself at all times in a manner that shall reflect creditably on the House. [House Rule 23, clause 1.]We hereby request that the Office of Congressional Ethics conduct a preliminary investigation into whether Rep. Maxine Waters violated House Rules in encouraging attacks on Cabinet officials.

New poll ranks Obama as the worst president since World War II
No wonder there is such a rush to build that ugly monument to Barack Obama in Chicago: the bloom is already off his rose. I suppose it was inevitable that the tidal wave of media flattery would recede from memory and allow the hollowness of his two terms in office to be perceived by those who don't think critically about what they see in the media. But now that President Trump is demonstrating the bankruptcy of the Obama administration economic and foreign policies with solid results that vividly contrast Obama's failures, a new poll has identified him as the worst president since World War II.
To be sure, only a plurality, not a majority, identifies him as the worst. But give it a little more time, and let more facts come to the public's attention – for instance, the fact that he received emails from Hillary's private, unprotected email server that contained classified information. And this implicated him in a crime. And that he publicly denied knowing about the server from which he received emails.
It's a long road ahead for the Obama reputation.

“More than one million immigrants have been deported since President Obama took office,” the 2011 PBS “Frontline” Lost in Detention contended. “Under his administration, deportations and detentions have reached record levels. The get-tough policy has brought complaints of abuse and harsh treatment, including charges that families have been unfairly separated after being caught in the nationwide dragnet.”
As Cecilia Muñoz, White House Director of Intergovernmental Affairs explained, “Even if the immigration law is executed with perfection, there will be parents separated from their children.” As it turns out, that separation policy was intentional, and the Obama administration deployed it to enrich cronies.
“Texas-based Southwest Key Programs has taken in roughly $1 billion in federal contracts since the Obama administration,” Fox News reports, “and is expected to receive about $500 million this year to house and provide services for immigrant children.” Southwest Key holds a total of “more than 5,000 immigrant children, about 10 percent of whom are said to have been separated from their families since May, when the new policy was announced. Its shelters for immigrants minors are in Texas, Arizona and California.”
Southwest Key Programs also operates “the largest licensed shelter for immigrant children in the United States. A 250,000-square-foot facility at a former WalMart superstore in Brownsville, Texas, today houses some 1,500 boys between the ages of 10 and 17 who illegally entered the U.S.”
According to a report by Drew Griffin of CNN, Southwest Key operates 83 detention centers across the country and has pulled in $1.5 billion in federal contracts. Southwest Key boss Juan Sanchez bags a cool $1.47 million a year “which makes him one of the highest paid charity CEOs in the country.” Mark Owen of the IRS told CNN Sanchez’s salary “extraordinarily high” and Sanchez’s wife grabs a salary of $262,000. The Southwest Key website does not feature management salary information.
KXAN of Austin reports that Southwest Key has received $995 million in federal funds since 2015. Over a three-year period, Southwest Key had “more than 200 violations at its facilities,” including a resident failing to receive proper care for a sexually transmitted disease (STD).

Southwest Key boss Juan Sanchez served on the board of National Council of La Raza (NCLR), where Cecilia Muñoz served as senior vice president and immigration analyst before POTUS 44 tapped her for the White House job. Southwest Key board member Anselmo Villarreal was also on the National Council of La Raza board from 2006 to 2012.
He now runs La Casa de Esperanza, which provides services to immigrants at locations nationwide. As Fox reports, “Villarreal has taken high-profile positions against Trump immigration policies, and last month participated in a march against a Wisconsin county’s plans to work with federal immigration officials.”
“La Raza was at the forefront of fighting for many issues of importance to Hispanics,” Fox News explains. “But it was also long criticized by those who charge that it is racist, and sympathetic to separatist ideology. The group rebranded, and changed its name in 2017 to UnidosUS.” Despite the name change, racism remains.
The primary source is La Raza Cosmica, by Mexican education minister and presidential candidate Jose Vasconcelos, republished in 1979 by the “Chicano Studies” department at Cal State LA. According to Vasconcelos, students from English, Dutch and Scandinavian backgrounds are “slower, almost dull,” compared to “mestizo children and youths from the south.” No scores but it’s something “any teacher can corroborate.”
Blacks are “uglier stocks” and part of the “inferior races.” Halle Berry and Ben Carson might want to call their office. The Mongol, “with the mystery of his slanted eyes,” is part of an “exhausted people” that lacks the “boldness for new enterprises.” Apparently Xi Jinping and Shinzo Abe never got the memo.
On the other hand, according to La Raza Cosmica, the fusion of Spaniards and Indians is a new race “infinitely superior to all that have previously existed.” That is the raza replacing those awful Yankee “Anglo-Saxons,” code for all non-raza peoples who speak English. The non-raza Yankees “are gradually becoming more a part of yesterday.”
Mexican American communist Bert Corona found The Cosmic Race similar to “the kind of German racial superiority theory supported by Hitler.” Even so, razaismo is the driving force of current efforts to violate the border and colonize the United States.
Consider, for example, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, former mayor of Mexico City and candidate for president in Mexico’s July 1 election. As the New York Times, explains, “Manuel López Obrador’s victory seems inevitable.” The only question is “the size of his victory.”
Sure-fire winner Obrador calls mass immigration to the United States a “human right” and says migrants “must leave their towns and find a life in the United States.” This razaista wants his lebensraum and he wants it right now.
If Obrador wins, President Trump might get him up to speed on America’s experience with regimes like that. And he might broach the subject of the $26.1 billion in remittances, an amount impossible without the bilking of American taxpayers on a massive scale.
Whoever wins, the migrants will be coming in force and the Mexican colonialists will find many collaborators among leftist Democrats, the establishment media, and the crony razaists ripping off kids and American taxpayers alike.

The treachery of “Crossfire Hurricane” comes into the light.

On Sunday a justifiably outraged President Trump called for the former Obama administration to be investigated for its unprecedented and profoundly un-American spying and sabotage operation against the 2016 Trump campaign.
“I hereby demand, and will do so officially tomorrow, that the Department of Justice look into whether or not the [Federal Bureau of Investigation/Department of Justice] infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes – and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!” Trump tweeted Sunday at 1:37 p.m.
Just the day before, President Trump had written on Twitter, “If the FBI or DOJ was infiltrating a campaign for the benefit of another campaign, that is a really big deal.”
The presidential demand for action comes after days of dramatic, detailed revelations about the plot to undermine the Trump campaign, transition team, and presidency began surfacing in news accounts.
On Thursday it was revealed that the FBI illicitly put together a spy ring as part of something called Operation Crossfire Hurricane and that at least one informant was a member of the Trump campaign.
On Friday the New York Times reported the campaign-embedded snitch was an American teaching in the United Kingdom.
By Saturday, media reports indicated the rat-fink in question was Stefan Halper, who is currently Director of American Studies in Cambridge University's Department of Politics and International Studies and a research professor at the Institute of World Politics in Washington, D.C. Halper served in the White House during the Nixon and Ford administrations. Halper hates Trump. How he got on Trump’s campaign staff is not clear.
“Unless WaPo & NYT articles are wrong, it seems that an informant (spy) for the Obama administration (paid tax payer dollars?!) kept tabs (spied) on the Trump campaign,” tweeted Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.). “Of all the disturbing revelations about the deep state in the last 2 years, I find this one most disturbing.”
On cue, Never Trumpers, establishment crybabies, and left-liberal talking heads started whining in unison about Halper the stool pigeon – they laughingly call this agent in a massive criminal conspiracy an “intelligence source” – being identified in an effort to draw attention away from the treachery of the spying operation they support.
“We've basically crossed the line into treason now -- and a whole party is acquiescing[,]” tweeted make-believe economist Paul Krugman about the Republican Party.
Benjamin Wittes of the left-wing Brookings Institution blame-tweeted the victim, maintaining the laughable fiction that what was done to the Trump campaign was part of a legitimate national security-related investigation.
“I have a whole lot to say about how the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and the President of the United States teamed up to out an intelligence source who aided our country in a properly predicated counterintelligence investigation against a hostile foreign power.”
With the flood of new evidence from recent days, it is becoming increasingly difficult to deny that President Obama – undeniably the most pro-Russian president in American history – and his men abused the powers of their offices not only to spy on then-candidate Donald Trump but also to undermine and lay the foundation for the overthrow of Trump’s administration.
No matter how many idiots and liars from both parties embarrass themselves by blathering on about the Left’s utterly insane conspiracy theory by which Russia and Trump are said to have engaged in electoral collusion, whatever that may be, we now know there was a conspiracy born in the summer of 2016 – and that Trump and his people had nothing to do with it.
This shameful real-life conspiracy is called Operation Crossfire Hurricane. Crossfire Hurricane is the codename for the FBI’s now-confirmed spying on the Trump campaign, which included placing at least one infiltrator within the campaign apparatus.
Incredibly, Obama’s Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said on CNN Thursday that it was “a good thing” the FBI had an informant embedded in the Trump campaign.
After admitting the FBI “may have had someone who was talking to them in the campaign,” Clapper said that person was there to find out “what the Russians were doing to try to instantiate themselves in the campaign or influence or leverage it.”
“So, if there was someone that was observing that sort of thing, that’s a good thing.”
Clapper was corroborating what the New York Times reported deep down way near the end of a lengthy recent article:
The F.B.I.’s thinking crystallized by mid-August, after the C.I.A. director at the time, John O. Brennan, shared intelligence with Mr. [James] Comey showing that the Russian government was behind an attack on the 2016 presidential election. Intelligence agencies began collaborating to investigate that operation. The Crossfire Hurricane team was part of that group but largely operated independently, three officials said.
As the American Spectator’s George Neumayr observes,
Contained in that oh-so-nonchalant line — “Intelligence agencies began collaborating to investigate that operation” — is one of Obamagate’s biggest ticking time bombs. When it blows, John Brennan, whose demented partisanship led him to run an anti-Trump spying operation straight out of CIA headquarters, will feel much of the blast.
Neumayr is right.

Now the outlines of a Watergate-like conspiracy are emerging in which a sitting Democrat president apparently used the apparatus of the state to spy on a Republican presidential candidate. Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz may soon recommend criminal charges in the handling of the Clinton investigations by the department and the FBI, reports investigative journalist Paul Sperry.
“Those invited to review the report were told they would have to sign nondisclosure agreements in order to read it, people familiar with the matter said. They are expected to have a few days to craft a response to any criticism in the report, which will then be incorporated in the final version to be released in coming weeks,” the Wall Street Journal reported.
As former federal prosecutor Andrew C. McCarthy said on Sean Hannity’s TV show Thursday, the plotters in Mueller’s office “bent over backward not to make the case against Mrs. Clinton, but then scorched the earth to make it against Trump.”
Who in the upper echelons of the FBI is guilty of participating in this rolling coup attempt hardly seems relevant anymore. The only question is, who among senior FBI officials isn’t an enemy of We The People.
The speech-writing fabulist Ben Rhodes likely played a role in all of this but now evidence suggests the lead conspirators against the American democratic process may have been no less than the endlessly publicity-seeking former FBI Director James Comey and the soulless Brennan, the traitorous Communist-loving hajji whose emetic, sanctimonious tweets are loaded with rhetorical overkill that can be measured in megatons.
“The gathering winds for Crossfire Hurricane,” emanated from the mouth of the CIA blowhard, Neumayr continues:
Panicking at the sight of Donald Trump’s Super Tuesday wins in March 2016, Brennan had by the following month formed the beginnings of a spying operation against him, and managed to enmesh a bunch of other agencies in it, thinking that would keep the outside of the CIA’s cup clean. How do we know this? Because a “senior” member of the intelligence community — back when such a figure thought talking out of school about such matters would serve the cause of delegitimizing Trump — leaked the existence of the operation to the BBC in January 2017[.]
Information was illicitly passed on to a state in the Baltics, because, as Neumayr reminds us, the Obama-led Deep State was forced to create a joint counter-intelligence taskforce because the CIA is not chartered to act domestically against U.S. citizens.

“More than one million immigrants have been deported since President Obama took office,” the 2011 PBS “Frontline” Lost in Detention contended. “Under his administration, deportations and detentions have reached record levels. The get-tough policy has brought complaints of abuse and harsh treatment, including charges that families have been unfairly separated after being caught in the nationwide dragnet.”
As Cecilia Muñoz, White House Director of Intergovernmental Affairs explained, “Even if the immigration law is executed with perfection, there will be parents separated from their children.” As it turns out, that separation policy was intentional, and the Obama administration deployed it to enrich cronies.
“Texas-based Southwest Key Programs has taken in roughly $1 billion in federal contracts since the Obama administration,” Fox News reports, “and is expected to receive about $500 million this year to house and provide services for immigrant children.” Southwest Key holds a total of “more than 5,000 immigrant children, about 10 percent of whom are said to have been separated from their families since May, when the new policy was announced. Its shelters for immigrants minors are in Texas, Arizona and California.”
Southwest Key Programs also operates “the largest licensed shelter for immigrant children in the United States. A 250,000-square-foot facility at a former WalMart superstore in Brownsville, Texas, today houses some 1,500 boys between the ages of 10 and 17 who illegally entered the U.S.”
According to a report by Drew Griffin of CNN, Southwest Key operates 83 detention centers across the country and has pulled in $1.5 billion in federal contracts. Southwest Key boss Juan Sanchez bags a cool $1.47 million a year “which makes him one of the highest paid charity CEOs in the country.” Mark Owen of the IRS told CNN Sanchez’s salary “extraordinarily high” and Sanchez’s wife grabs a salary of $262,000. The Southwest Key website does not feature management salary information.
KXAN of Austin reports that Southwest Key has received $995 million in federal funds since 2015. Over a three-year period, Southwest Key had “more than 200 violations at its facilities,” including a resident failing to receive proper care for a sexually transmitted disease (STD).

Southwest Key boss Juan Sanchez served on the board of National Council of La Raza (NCLR), where Cecilia Muñoz served as senior vice president and immigration analyst before POTUS 44 tapped her for the White House job. Southwest Key board member Anselmo Villarreal was also on the National Council of La Raza board from 2006 to 2012.
He now runs La Casa de Esperanza, which provides services to immigrants at locations nationwide. As Fox reports, “Villarreal has taken high-profile positions against Trump immigration policies, and last month participated in a march against a Wisconsin county’s plans to work with federal immigration officials.”
“La Raza was at the forefront of fighting for many issues of importance to Hispanics,” Fox News explains. “But it was also long criticized by those who charge that it is racist, and sympathetic to separatist ideology. The group rebranded, and changed its name in 2017 to UnidosUS.” Despite the name change, racism remains.
The primary source is La Raza Cosmica, by Mexican education minister and presidential candidate Jose Vasconcelos, republished in 1979 by the “Chicano Studies” department at Cal State LA. According to Vasconcelos, students from English, Dutch and Scandinavian backgrounds are “slower, almost dull,” compared to “mestizo children and youths from the south.” No scores but it’s something “any teacher can corroborate.”
Blacks are “uglier stocks” and part of the “inferior races.” Halle Berry and Ben Carson might want to call their office. The Mongol, “with the mystery of his slanted eyes,” is part of an “exhausted people” that lacks the “boldness for new enterprises.” Apparently Xi Jinping and Shinzo Abe never got the memo.
On the other hand, according to La Raza Cosmica, the fusion of Spaniards and Indians is a new race “infinitely superior to all that have previously existed.” That is the raza replacing those awful Yankee “Anglo-Saxons,” code for all non-raza peoples who speak English. The non-raza Yankees “are gradually becoming more a part of yesterday.”
Mexican American communist Bert Corona found The Cosmic Race similar to “the kind of German racial superiority theory supported by Hitler.” Even so, razaismo is the driving force of current efforts to violate the border and colonize the United States.
Consider, for example, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, former mayor of Mexico City and candidate for president in Mexico’s July 1 election. As the New York Times, explains, “Manuel López Obrador’s victory seems inevitable.” The only question is “the size of his victory.”
Sure-fire winner Obrador calls mass immigration to the United States a “human right” and says migrants “must leave their towns and find a life in the United States.” This razaista wants his lebensraum and he wants it right now.
If Obrador wins, President Trump might get him up to speed on America’s experience with regimes like that. And he might broach the subject of the $26.1 billion in remittances, an amount impossible without the bilking of American taxpayers on a massive scale.
Whoever wins, the migrants will be coming in force and the Mexican colonialists will find many collaborators among leftist Democrats, the establishment media, and the crony razaists ripping off kids and American taxpayers alike.

THIS IS LA RAZA:
The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) is not only one of the wealthiest and most politically powerful militant organizations in the country, it is also notoriously racist and subversive. The group's name, "La Raza," means "The Race," by which they are referring to ethnic Mexicans, or more broadly to "hispanics" or "latinos." And it is quite clear from their decades of vitriolic rhetoric — both spoken and written — that the La Raza activists are trying to engender not only race consciousness amongst hispanic U.S. citizens and Mexican migrants, but also racial militancy and animosity toward "Gringo America."
The NCLR grew out of the La Raza Unida (The Race United) Party and the Southwest Council of La Raza in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The key leaders were Marxist-Leninist followers of Fidel Castro and Che Guevarra.
In 1970, the California Senate Fact-Finding Subcommittee on Un-American Activities said this about La Raza Unida: "Its president is Maclovio Barraza. Mr. Barraza has been identified by the Subversive Activities Control Board as a member of the Communist Party, and presides over the Council which recently received a grant of $1,300,000 from the Ford Foundation."
Maclovio Barraza was the NCLR Board of Directors' founding Chairperson, and the NCLR continues to honor this hardcore Marxist by awarding the Moclavio Barraza Award to its top activist each year.
One of the early founders of La Raza was Professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, whose violent, extremist rhetoric has caused NCLR some public relations problems. Back in 1969, Gutierrez said: "We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him." He has continued to promote the same hateful "reconquista" ideology ever since. But that didn't stop NCLR from bestowing on him their "Hero Award" in 1994.
The radical student group MEChA (Moviemento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan), with which NCLR has been closely allied for several decades, is even more explicitly and militantly, having adopted the slogan, "Por La Raza Todo, Fuera de La Raza Nada," which translated means: "For the Race, Everything; Outside the Race, Nothing."
MEChA's founding documents and literature are replete with appeals to "La Raza de Bronce" (The Bronze Race) and condemnation of the "brutal gringo." MEChA, as its name suggests, is also a leading promoter of the radical "reconquista" (reconquest) movement, a plan of to take over the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas — a region they refer to as "Aztlan" — which they claim was stolen from the "Aztecan" peoples. NCLR provides major financial support to MEChA and many of NCLR's leaders were MEChA leaders in their college days.
NCLR: Agents for the Government of Mexico?
Especially troubling is NCLR's leading role in the Fundacion Solidaridad Mexicano Americana (Foundation for Mexican-American Solidarity, FSMA), an organization founded and funded by the government of Mexico and directed by the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Public Education. Both of these ministries have been engaged in efforts aimed at demanding full political rights for illegal aliens in the U.S. and indoctrinating America's Hispanic population in radical, racist La Raza ideology.
Top members of La Raza, MALDEF, the National Immigration Forum and other leading immigration activist organizations also serve on the Council of the FSMA. As such, they are acting as agents for a foreign power that is actively seeking to influence our national, state, and local laws and policies, in ways that are inimical to the interests of our nation and our citizens. NCLR and these other participating groups should be investigated by Congress to determine if they are breaking any laws, especially since these organizations and/or their affiliates not only enjoy tax-exempt status, but even receive millions of dollars from federal and state government agencies.*

President Obama has encouraged Americans to start laying a new foundation for the country – on a number of fronts. He has stressed that we'll need to have the courage to make some hard choices. One of those hard choices is how to handle immigration. The US must get serious about the tide of legal and illegal immigrants, above all from Latin America.
It's not just a short-run issue of immigrants competing with citizens for jobs as unemployment approaches 10 percent or the number of uninsured straining the quality of healthcare. Heavy immigration from Latin America threatens our cohesiveness as a nation.
The political realities of the rapidly growing Latino population are such that Mr. Obama may be the last president who can avert the permanent, vast underclass implied by the current Census Bureau projection for 2050.

Congressman Introduces Resolution Calling for Maxine Waters Resignation

A new resolution was introduced in the wake of Rep. Maxine Water’s comments, in which she called for supporters of the Democratic party to “create a crowd” to “push back” against members of the Trump administration.
In the past few weeks, three members of the Trump administration have been heckled and kicked out of restaurants over political affiliations. Other elected officials such as Majority Whip Steve Scalise and Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords have already been victims of physical violence that stemmed from such disputes.
On Monday, Congressman Andy Biggs introduced a resolution to censure and condemn Waters for her violence-inciting comments.
“Individuals have the right to debate their differences civilly, without fear of retribution,” Biggs said in a statement after introducing the resolution. “Unfortunately, Maxine Waters’ comments condone public violence and encourage actions that jeopardize the safety and security of government officials and the American people.”
Waters, the Representative of California’s 43rd Congressional District made the heated comments at a rally in Los Angeles on June 23.
She stated, “Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”
The text from the House Res. 962 also called for Waters to issue a formal apology to members of the Trump administration and to “immediately resign from office to allow an individual more befitting.”
Waters comments also caught the ire of President Donald Trump, who criticized her on Twitter.
“Congresswoman Maxine Waters, an extraordinarily low IQ person, has become, together with Nancy Pelosi, the Face of the Democrat Party. She has just called for harm to supporters, of which there are many, of the Make America Great Again movement. Be careful what you wish for Max!” Trump wrote on June 25.
The harassment isn’t new to Trump Cabinet members, allies, and supporters. Since the president was elected, his staff, family, allies, and supporters have all been subject to similar provocation and badgering. Waters pushed that trend to a new level by openly calling on her supporters to confront Trump’s team in public.
Divided Party
Biggs is not the only one concerned with the current rhetoric.
Some Democrats have distanced themselves from Waters, citing concern that her comments go too far and could hurt the party’s bottom line in the upcoming midterm election. It has sparked an internal debate in the Democratic party.
On Monday House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi took to Twitter to urge for civility, particularly since Democrats are trying to regain control of the House.
“Trump’s daily lack of civility has provoked responses that are predictable but unacceptable. As we go forward, we must conduct elections in a way that achieves unity from sea to shining sea,” she said.
Former Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod echoed Pelosi’s comments, calling the current rhetoric, “counter-productive.”
“Rousting Cabinet members from restaurants is an empty and, ultimately, counter-productive gesture that won’t change a thing,” Axelrod tweeted on June 25.
Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer went further on the Senate floor Monday, saying that harassment is never the answer.
“No one should call for the harassment of political opponents. That’s not right. That’s not American,” he said.
