A heartless jogger who was caught on camera trashing a homeless man's camp and throwing his belongings into a lake has been arrested.
Henry William Sintay was taken into custody in Oakland, California on Monday and charged with robbery.
The 30-year-old was filmed on Friday destroying the camp set up next to Lake Merritt where homeless man Greg Markson, who goes by the nickname Drew, had been living.
Despite outraged bystanders pleading for Sintay to stop, he continued to rummage through the belongings before tossing some into the lake and a trash can.
The footage showed a shirtless Sintay claiming it was an accident that the belongings ended up in the lake after he was spotted tossing them in.
In a strange turn of events, Sintay was also filmed returning to the lake the following day to retrieve some of the items from the water.

A witness who filmed him the second time claims Sintay stole his phone and assaulted him when he realized he was being recorded.
Jail records show Sintay was arrested on Monday and charged with first degree robbery.
He was being held on $100,000 bail at the Santa Rita Jail.
It is believed his arrest stems from the alleged theft of the phone the day after he was filmed tossing the homeless man's belongings.
Footage of the initial incident quickly went viral when it was posted online, with Sintay quickly being dubbed #JoggerJoe.

'It's disgusting, it smells like p**s, it's nasty,' Sintay was filmed saying as he threw the homeless man's belongings around.
'I'm picking up the trash,' he added when bystanders told him to stop.
After kicking the man's possessions and spreading them around, he was caught on camera dumping some of the items into a nearby trashcan.
'What you're doing right now doesn't make sense,' the man who filmed the video told Sintay. 'You're spreading it everywhere, just stop!'

There has been an outpouring of support for the homeless man ever since the footage went viral with strangers donating clothes and food, as well as a GoFundMe collecting donations
Prior to Sintay's arrest for robbery, police had said they couldn't do much because the homeless man's possessions were 'considered debris'.
Authorities had indicated that the only consequences Sintay might face would be a potential fine for littering.
There has been an outpouring of support for the homeless man ever since the footage went viral.
Strangers have given him clothing and food, as well as offers to clean his belongings at a nearby laundromat.
A GoFundMe page was also been set up to replace the clothing, shoes, food and bedding that was tossed into the lake. It has already raised more than $10,000
