A 24-year-old Dallas man was arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child after he introduced her to a police officer as his 15-year-old 'wife'.
Jose Nahun Lopez-Cruz had been stopped by police for parking illegally in a handicap spot near the Trinity Groves neighborhood south of downtown Dallas.
After revealing that the girl with him was only 15 years old, Lopez-Cruz told the officer: 'It's okay, she is going to be 16 soon.'
According to a police report, there was an open can of alcohol and a small bag of marijuana in the center console of Lopez-Cruz's Toyota Camry.
The can belonged to the girl and marijuana was his, the pair explained.
The unidentified 15-year-old told police through a translator that she and Lopez-Cruz had been living together for two months and having sex on a regular basis.
Under Texas law, having sex with someone under the age of 17 is considered statutory rape unless the older person is not more than three years their senior.
Lopez-Cruz has been charged with sexual assault of a child and drug possession.
Authorities suspect he may be in the US illegally.
He is being held in Dallas County jail with $25,500 bail.

11-Time Deportee Attacked Wife with Chainsaw in Front of Children, Say Police
A foreign national accused of attacking his wife with a chainsaw is reported to be an 11-time deported illegal alien with a criminal history. The man reportedly attacked his wife in their California home in front of their three children.
California detectives arrested 32-year-old Alejandro Alvarez-Villegas after he fled from the scene where he allegedly attacked his wife with a chainsaw, the Los Angeles Timesreported. Whittier, California, Police Department officers said they responded to a service call they found a woman suffering from “traumatic physical injuries, believed to have been inflicted by a chainsaw,” the newspaper reported.
Alvarez-Villegas allegedly fled the scene in a stolen car. Police in San Diego County found Alvarez-Villegas the following day in an SUV that had been reported stolen. The suspect allegedly attempted to ram one of the police cars, NBC7 reported from San Diego.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials reported that “Mr. Alarez-Villegas is a serial immigration violator who has been removed from the United States 11 times since 2005.” Immigration officials placed a detainer on the suspect, but California law prohibits cooperation with immigration officers.
Officials transported the illegal alien’s injured wife to a local trauma center where she underwent surgery. She is expected to survive, the NBC affiliate reported.
The attack on the woman took place in front of their ten, eight, and five-year-old children, officials said. Local officials separated the children from the family and placed them in protective custody.
Despite Alvarez-Villegas’ attempt to avoid arrest, police were able to take him into custody with anyone being injured, Chula Vista Police Lt. Kenny Heinz told NBC7.
Alvarez-Villegas currently resides in the Whittier jail on charges of attempted murder, child endangerment, hit and run, and grand theft auto, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Court records obtained by the Times revealed a criminal history that includes unlawful possession of a controlled substance and one count of using or being under the influence of a controlled substance. He also pleaded no contest to driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.
In addition to the state’s charges, Alvarez-Villegas could also face federal prosecution for illegal entry after removal. If charged and convicted, the illegal alien could face 20 years in a federal prison.

CRIMINALS WIN BIG IN CALIFORNIA SANCTUARY RULING
Bush appointee upholds protections for false-documented illegals.
U.S. District Court Judge John Mendez, an appointee of George W. Bush, ruled that the state could not prevent private employers from denying federal immigration authorities from worksites. Mendez found that AB 450 “which imposes monetary penalties on an employer solely because that employer voluntarily consents to federal immigration enforcement’s entry into nonpublic areas of their place of business or access to their employment records impermissibly discriminates against those who choose to deal with the federal government.”
On the other hand, Mendez upheld the law’s requirement that companies inform workers within 72 hours of any federal request to examine employment records. So in the style of Oakland mayor Libby Schaaf, employers can still provide lookout services for false-documented illegals.
Mendez denied the federal request against SB 54, the state’s sanctuary law. As author Kevin de Leon told reporters, “today, a federal judge made clear what I’ve known all along, that SB 54, the California Values Act is constitutional and does not conflict with federal law. California is under no obligation to assist Trump tear apart families. We cannot stop his mean-spirited immigration policies, but we don’t have to help him, and we won’t.”
As Mendez ruled, “refusing to help is not the same as impeding.” The federal judge also upheld AB 103, allowing the state attorney general to inspect detention facilities. Current attorney general Xavier Becerra, once on Hillary Clinton’s short list as a running mate and a key player in the Democrats’ IT scandal, proclaimed, “The Constitution gives the people of California, not the Trump Administration, the power to decide how we will provide for our public safety and general welfare.”
Californians had a right to wonder about the “safety” part. In this 2-1 split decision the biggest winners are criminal illegals.
Senate Bill 54, the Bee report noted, “has eliminated much of the discretionary power that local law enforcement previously had to privately share information with federal immigration agents about people who have been arrested and put in county jails.” So despite the protestations of hereditary, recurring governor Jerry Brown, California is protecting criminal illegals. With that in mind, legitimate citizens might look ahead to the November election.
Brown, a three-time presidential loser, recently signed off on a budget that spends tens of millions of dollars to help illegals fight efforts to deport them. This includes some $45 million in legal services steered to state colleges, and $10 million to help younger illegals, including “undocumented migrants.” This outlandish spending is hardly the state’s only way to privilege false-document illegals.
A 2015 law, “streamlines” the process of voter registration and kicks in when someone gets a driver’s license at the DMV. As of March, 2018, more than one million illegals have received licenses. Secretary of state Alex Padilla touts “firewall” protections against ineligible voters. This is the same official who refused to cooperate with a federal probe of voter fraud, so legal residents and taxpayers have good reason to wonder what he is hiding.
Senate boss Kevin de Leon, author of SB 54, is on record that half his family would be eligible for deportation under Trump’s executive order because they used false Social Security cards and other bogus identification. In his own case, as Christopher Cadelago of the Sacramento Bee explains, “The name on his birth certificate isn’t Kevin de León.”
On his birth certificate and voter rolls, “the 50-year-old politician is Kevin Alexander Leon,” born on December 10, 1966 at California Hospital on South Hope Street in Los Angeles. The birth certificate “describes his father, Andres Leon, as a 40-year-old cook whose race was Chinese and whose birthplace was Guatemala. De León’s mother, Carmen Osorio, was also born in Guatemala, the document states.” As a child, “de León spent time on both sides of the border,” but he “identifies strongly with Mexican culture.”
As a State Department investigation confirms, false-documented illegals have been voting in local, state and federal elections for decades. Legitimate citizens and legal immigrants now have a stronger case for ID checks on voters and candidates alike. Under the Mendez ruling many more illegals, including criminals, will be seeking protected, privileged status in California.
US Agents Arrest 18 Traffickers and 117 Illegals, Seize Cash, Vehicles, and Drugs

Special agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and agents with U.S. Border Patrol arrested 18 alien smugglers and seized cash, vehicles, and more than 1,000 pounds of marijuana last month in a joint effort. (ICE press release)
U.S. Border patrol agents working with ICE and Homeland Security capped a monthlong investigation by interdicting human trafficking activities around El Paso, Texas, and southern New Mexico.
According to an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement bulletin, special agents from the three different bureaus cooperated to arrest 18 people smuggling illegal aliens into the United States. These agents also arrested 117 illegal aliens.
Along with the arrests, the agencies also seized numerous vehicles, including three tractor-trailers, and more than half a ton of marijuana.
Precise details of the investigation and arrest operations were not revealed. All the involved agencies would say is that the arrests happened sometime in June, and targeted well-developed smuggling operations in the West Texas/Southern New Mexico area.
“This is a great example of the dedication and cooperation amongst area law enforcement agencies working towards the shared goals of securing our borders, protecting our local communities and our nation,” said Deputy Chief Patrol Agent Chris T. Clem, U.S. Border Patrol-El Paso Sector.
Some of those arrested had criminal records already. The rest will likely be deported after further investigation. (ICE press release)
Two US Criminals Among Those Arrested
Two of the arrestees were U.S. citizens, both with extensive criminal records.
Elias Serrano, 42, had prior convictions for aggravated stalking, kidnapping, possessing a deadly weapon, and possessing marijuana with intent to distribute.
Jesus Briseno, 25, had prior convictions for escape from custody, possessing marijuana, assault/causing injury to family member, and driving while intoxicated.
Both face charges related to human trafficking, plus whatever else arises from the ongoing investigation of evidence gathered in the raids.
“We remain steadfast in our commitment to vigorously pursue members of transnational criminal networks that exploit and endanger people they smuggle into our country,” said Jack P. Staton, special agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) El Paso, in the ICE press release.
“These smugglers are driven by human greed and heartlessness. HSI will continue to work with our law enforcement partners, such as Border Patrol, to maintain the integrity of our border and nation’s immigration laws,” he said.

‘Safe Houses’ No Longer Safe
Agents located and raided three safe-houses where illegal aliens from different nations were staying.
Ninety-three of those arrested were from Mexico. Twelve were from Guatemala, six from Honduras, three from Brazil, two from El Salvador, and one person came from Peru.
Some of these people also had criminal records.
One of these was a 32-year-old Mexican with convictions for child endangerment and driving while intoxicated. He was arrested for illegally re-entering the United States after deportation.
A 34-year-old Guatemalan with an outstanding warrant out of Florida for driving under the influence, was also arrested and charged with illegally re-entering the United States after deportation.
One Mexican with known drug cartel ties was arrested for fraud and misuse of visas.
Along with the vehicles and drugs, agents also seized about $20,000 in American and Mexican currency.
Rep. Black Introduces ‘Zero-Tolerance’ Bill for Illegal Immigration
(CNSNews.com) – On July 10, Rep. Diane Black (R-Tenn.) introduced the Zero Tolerance for Illegal Entry Act, which would make it a felony to cross the U.S border illegally and would mandate an E-Verify system for American employers to ensure that they are not hiring illegal immigrants.
The law would make illegally crossing the border for the first time a felony instead of a misdemeanor and would up the penalty from six months or less to a year and a day or more. (The full text of Section 275 as it currently stands can be found here.)
The proposed law would also mandate the E-Verify verification system for U.S. businesses to ensure that the people they hire are not illegal immigrants. The legislation says “all employers in the United States shall participate in E-Verify, with respect to all employees recruited, referred, or hired by such employer on or after the date that is 1 year after the date of the enactment of this subsection."

In a press release, Rep. Black said, “The United States government should never prioritize illegal immigrants over American citizens. We must have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to illegal border crossings and sanctuary cities, and we must give ICE the resources they need to do their job as they protect our nation.”
“By no longer creating incentives to come to our country unlawfully, we also discourage families from sending their children on an often dangerous journey to reach our southern border,” states the release.
Black continued, “The Zero Tolerance for Illegal Entry Act works hand in hand with law enforcement to ensure that we are doing all we can to uphold the dignity of our border. President Trump has been clear about illegal immigration from day one, and we know that he is committed to protecting our nation for future generations. We must do all we can to deter the criminal abuse of our border – it has gone on for far too long.”
The anti-illegal immigration organization NumbersUSA also praised the legislation, stating it would protect American jobs, reduce illegal immigration, and hold sanctuary jurisdictions accountable for obstructing the enforcement of Federal immigration law.”
Exclusive—Buddy Carter Introduces Bill to Prevent Illegals from Stealing Americans’ Social Security Numbers
Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA) told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview on Thursday about his new legislation that would prevent illegal immigrants from using Americans’ Social Security numbers, protect citizens’ privacy, and deter illegal immigration.
On Wednesday, Rep. Carter introduced H.R. 6333, Tax Identity Protection Act, which would direct the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to help protect Americans from illegal immigrants from fraudulently using their Social Security numbers.
In his press release this week, the Georgia Republican said that he contacted the IRS and the agency told him that they were not “in the position to notify victims” that their Social Security numbers were used fraudulently. The IRS “blamed it on a computer system.”
Rep. Carter Breitbart News why he decided to sponsor this legislation, saying, “After we found out that last June of 2017 that the Inspector General in the Treasury Department had noted that there was like 1.4 million illegal immigrants that were fraudulently using Social Security numbers of American citizens, we knew wanted to do something about that.”
The Georgia Republican slammed the IRS for doing nothing to prevent illegal immigrants from stealing Americans’ Social Security numbers, or, at least notify American citizens about the fraud.
“That was probably the most egregious part of it. It was not only that the IRS was not notifying citizens that their Social Security number had been compromised and used by illegal immigrants, it was also the attitude, to be quite honest with you,” Congressman Carter said. “They were nonchalant, they said they couldn’t do anything about it, that’s how the computer system works.”
“It’s just a catastrophe in the making, and we found appalling that the IRS was taking a lackadaisical view toward to it,” Carter added.
Congressman Carter then suggested that most illegal immigrants try to obtain Americans’ Social Security numbers “to gain longer access” to America. The Georgia Republican said that his legislation “would deter people who are doing this, using these Social Security numbers fraudulently and it would be easier to identify them because I’m sure right now they can stay longer to slip under the radar.”
Carter’s legislation has several cosponsors from across the Republican spectrum. Freedom Caucus members such as Reps. Joe Barton (R-TX), Scott Perry (R-PA) and other Republicans such as Reps. Joe Wilson (R-SC) and Doug LaMalfa (R-CA) have sponsored the bill.
Carter said that many of his colleagues “were very concerned about it, they were outraged by it,” when he heard about illegal immigrants stealing Americans’ Social Security numbers and IRS doing nothing about it.
The Georgia Republican added, “There should be bipartisan support.”
Carter told Breitbart News that his legislation reinforces the need for a wall on America’s southern border and stronger border and immigration enforcement.
The Georgia Republican said, “It proves the point there are bad actors out there, who are coming in and this would be another example where we need to secure our borders and make certain that those who are bad actors can be taken out of the country.”
CT Sen. Chris Murphy Gets ‘Earful’ on Illegal Immigration Stance
Sen. Chris Murphy from Connecticut heard angry comments from some of his state’s citizens about his and his Democratic Party’s positions on open borders and amnesty for illegal immigrants.
Murphy, a Democrat seeking re-election to a second term in the U.S. Senate this year, is a progressive who wore a green “Defender of the Universe” T-shirt while conducting his third annual walk across the state.
According to a report in the Telegraph, Murphy received an “earful” from Connecticut citizens about the Democrats’ stance on open borders for illegal immigrants and the recent call for the abolition of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) by some. Murphy said he does not support abolishing ICE.
Gary Pavano, an air-conditioner repairman, told Murphy he did not want his tax dollars supporting illegal immigrants in detention facilities.
“I email you!,” Pavano said. “Why didn’t you answer? I email you all the time. I get a boiler-plate answer!”
The news report continued:
“I can’t support you anymore,” said John O’Brien, an unaffiliated voter from Berlin with a Trump sticker on his car. O’Brien was a former union Democrat, he said, but abandoned the party because “I’m not getting Social Security increases because we are supporting people like them,” referring to undocumented immigrants.
Murphy reminding [sic] him that waves of immigrants throughout history — like O’Brien’s ancestors — sought to come to this country.
Similarly, Ann Reilly said Murphy’s walk across the state was a “show.”
Reilly confronted the senator about the effects of illegal immigration on the economy and asserted immigrants should remain in their countries while they apply for asylum in the U.S.
“There a [sic] lots of people who legitimately come to the border because they fear for their life or their kids’ lives,” Murphy responded.
“You could say that, quite honestly, going into Hartford and New Britain, parts of the areas, right?” Reilly interrupted. “My husband and I, we’re starting to watch Fox News in the morning, and I’m like ‘Oh my God!’”
“Ecuador and Hartford, Connecticut are, respectfully, not the same.” Murphy countered, however.
As the Telegraph observes, Murphy received a very different response while walking in Hartford as most people complained of President Donald Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration.
Murphy told them that for Democrats to gain control in November, they might focus on economic issues in the way Bernie Sanders did in 2016.
“Democrats often pay way too much attention to identity politics and cultural and social issues, at the expense of the kitchen table issues that I’m hearing about on this walk,” Murphy said.
Murphy is also a major proponent of gun control in the Senate. He recently referred to Judge Brett Kavanaugh, Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court, as a “Second Amendment radical.”

THE SECRET REPORT ON ILLEGALS TAKING MIDDLE AND HIGH END JOBS…. What? You thought they only took the sh//// -it jobs?
About 70% of illegal aliens who claim asylum never bother to show up for their court cases. They simply disappear "into the shadows" once they are released into the population. And no wonder, given that courts have found 80% of asylum cases to be bogus to begin with.
It appears that illegals are cynically gaming our immigration system to get a foot in the door, make a false asylum claim, and then disappear into the interior of the country.
But liberals can't have people thinking that, so they have produced a "study" explaining why illegal aliens don't show up for their court dates. Guess what: it's never their fault!
The "study" gives a variety of reasons to explain the absence of illegal aliens.
1. The immigration court is at fault. The immigration court never told the illegals to show up! Or it sent the illegals notices with the wrong court dates! Why can't our immigration courts be as conscientious as illegal aliens?
2. Some illegal aliens are mentally ill. Karen, an illegal alien from Honduras, gave birth to an anchor baby soon after she arrived in America and promptly got post-partum depression. She was so depressed that she missed her court date!
3. Some illegal aliens are so learning disabled that they can't read a court summons! We learn the story of Zoe, an illegal alien from El Salvador who has "undiagnosed dyslexia." Because of her handicap, she couldn't read the court summons, so she wasn't to blame for missing her court date!
4. Some illegals move to new locations and refuse to attend court hearings near where they originally lived. We are told the story of Julia, an illegal alien who moved from California to Virginia but didn't provide proof that she now resided in Virginia. The court insisted she return for her hearing in California. Julia had no trouble getting from Honduras to America, but she couldn't figure out a way to get from Virginia to California for her court date!
5. Other illegals can't find good transportation to the court.
Julia made several attempts to attend her hearing, requesting transportation from her family, a social worker, and legal counsel. Her inability to obtain transportation, lack of financial resources, lack of familiarity with the city, and severe language barriers contributed to her inability to attend the hearing. Consequently, in June 2015, the immigration court ordered Julia removed in absentia.
Poor Julia! She managed to travel thousands of miles from Honduras to the United States, sneaking over barriers and borders, but she couldn't figure out how to get to a courtroom even with several weeks notice!
Because they didn't show up, the courts ordered these people deported. But don't worry. In most of the cases above, the Catholic Legal Immigration Network appealed and got new trial dates for these virtuous illegals.
So you see, it's never the fault of the illegal alien. Nothing in the study referenced above mentioned illegals who simply chose not to show up. It never happens.
Liberals will distort reality and present absolutes (in this case, the virtue of the illegal alien) as much as they want to achieve their desired results, and when you challenge them, they will present "studies" like these as settled fact.

Every CEO in every company sees the business opportunity: Will I earn higher profits by replacing my American staff with cheaper H-1B workers? The answer is an obvious yes.
About 70% of illegal aliens who claim asylum never bother to show up for their court cases. They simply disappear "into the shadows" once they are released into the population. And no wonder, given that courts have found 80% of asylum cases to be bogus to begin with.
It appears that illegals are cynically gaming our immigration system to get a foot in the door, make a false asylum claim, and then disappear into the interior of the country.
But liberals can't have people thinking that, so they have produced a "study" explaining why illegal aliens don't show up for their court dates. Guess what: it's never their fault!
The "study" gives a variety of reasons to explain the absence of illegal aliens.
1. The immigration court is at fault. The immigration court never told the illegals to show up! Or it sent the illegals notices with the wrong court dates! Why can't our immigration courts be as conscientious as illegal aliens?
2. Some illegal aliens are mentally ill. Karen, an illegal alien from Honduras, gave birth to an anchor baby soon after she arrived in America and promptly got post-partum depression. She was so depressed that she missed her court date!
3. Some illegal aliens are so learning disabled that they can't read a court summons! We learn the story of Zoe, an illegal alien from El Salvador who has "undiagnosed dyslexia." Because of her handicap, she couldn't read the court summons, so she wasn't to blame for missing her court date!
4. Some illegals move to new locations and refuse to attend court hearings near where they originally lived. We are told the story of Julia, an illegal alien who moved from California to Virginia but didn't provide proof that she now resided in Virginia. The court insisted she return for her hearing in California. Julia had no trouble getting from Honduras to America, but she couldn't figure out a way to get from Virginia to California for her court date!
5. Other illegals can't find good transportation to the court.
Julia made several attempts to attend her hearing, requesting transportation from her family, a social worker, and legal counsel. Her inability to obtain transportation, lack of financial resources, lack of familiarity with the city, and severe language barriers contributed to her inability to attend the hearing. Consequently, in June 2015, the immigration court ordered Julia removed in absentia.
Poor Julia! She managed to travel thousands of miles from Honduras to the United States, sneaking over barriers and borders, but she couldn't figure out how to get to a courtroom even with several weeks notice!
Because they didn't show up, the courts ordered these people deported. But don't worry. In most of the cases above, the Catholic Legal Immigration Network appealed and got new trial dates for these virtuous illegals.
So you see, it's never the fault of the illegal alien. Nothing in the study referenced above mentioned illegals who simply chose not to show up. It never happens.
Liberals will distort reality and present absolutes (in this case, the virtue of the illegal alien) as much as they want to achieve their desired results, and when you challenge them, they will present "studies" like these as settled fact.

Here's a thought experiment: what happens if you release criminals, a lot of them, from jail?
If you asked a liberal in California, he would tell you these criminals were unjustly jailed in the first place (think racism on the part of liberal inner-city judges, juries, and prosecutors) and that these unjustly imprisoned would return to become productive parts of society.
Imagine their surprise to learn, then, that after reducing or eliminating sentences for certain property crimes, the rate of property crimes has only increased!
California voters' decision to reduce penalties for drug and property crimes in 2014 contributed to a jump in car burglaries, shoplifting and other theft, researchers reported.
Larcenies increased about 9% by 2016, or about 135 more thefts per 100,000 residents than if tougher penalties had remained, according to results of a study by the nonpartisan Public Policy Institute of California released Tuesday.
Thefts from motor vehicles accounted for about three-quarters of the increase. San Francisco alone recorded more than 30,000 auto burglaries last year, which authorities largely blamed on gangs.
Proposition 47 lowered criminal sentences for drug possession, theft, shoplifting, identity theft, receiving stolen property, writing bad checks and check forgery from felonies that can carry prison terms to misdemeanors that often bring minimal jail sentences.

California still has historically low crime rates despite recent changes in the criminal justice system aimed at reducing mass incarceration and increasing rehabilitation and treatment programs, said Lenore Anderson, the executive director of Californians for Safety and Justice and a leader in the drive to pass Proposition 47.
"This report shows we are making progress," she said in a statement calling for less spending on prisons and more on programs to help reduce the cycle of crime.
The ballot measure led to the lowest arrest rate in state history in 2015 as experts said police frequently ignored crimes that brought minimal punishment.
They say a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged. If that's true, then it must also be true in California that a liberal is a liberal who has had his car or home broken into. Indeed, people in San Francisco have had their cars broken into so frequently that they think this is the "new normal," and people talk laughingly to each other about how often their cars have been broken into, as if it's a subject of conversation as common as the doings of the local sports team.
Reality will never intrude on a liberal's ideology. An illegal alien could shoot a woman dead on Fisherman's Wharf, and liberals would still never see a problem with sanctuary cities. Homeless people can roam the streets like swarms of giant rats, leaving fetid excrement and bloody hypodermic needles in their wake, and people would accept it, because it is part of their ideology.
That's how they can call this abomination "progress."
Two men are accused of beheading an Alabama teenage girl suffering from autism and murdering her grandmother over the woman’s ties to the Sinaloa Cartel formerly headed by “JoaquÃn ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán.
Madison County, Alabama, Sheriff’s Office Investigator Stacy Rutherford testified that Israel Palomino, 34, and Yoni Aguilar, 26, murdered 49-year-old Oralia Mendoza and her 13-year-old autistic granddaughter Maria Lopez. The investigator said the two men carried out the murders after they became suspicious of the grandmother because of her connections to the Sinaloa Cartel, AL.com reported.
The grandmother and teen traveled with the two men and a woman to pick up a batch of methamphetamine in Norcross, Georgia. During the trip, something went wrong and Palomino and Aguilar became suspicious of a setup by Mendoza who reportedly had connections to the Sinaloa Cartel, Rutherford stated.
Early on June 4, the two men woke Mendoza and Lopez and told them they were in danger and they would take them someplace safe. They got in a car and drove to a cemetery in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.
Mendoza and Palomino got out of the car and began arguing about the drug buy, Rutherford testified about her interview with Aguilar, who confessed to the crimes. Agular said Palomino stabbed Mendoza to death. Police said that Agular was Mendoza’s boyfriend.
The two men got back in the car with the teenage girl and drove to a secluded area where Palomino told Agular to kill the 13-year-old because she witnessed her grandmother’s murder, the investigator testified. She said Agular told her that he was afraid of Palomino.
Palomino then ordered Agular to behead the girl as he made a sawing motion with his arms, Rutherford testified.
Three days later, police found the girls body and began an investigation that led back to the two men after Mendoza’s mother came forward and said the headless body might be her daughter. A week later, police confirmed the victim’s identity. About that same time, police found Mendoza’s body at the cemetery, the local news outlet reported.
Police obtained search warrants and found two knives under each of the suspect’s beds. Investigators also found blood in Palomino’s car, Rutherford testified.
Investigators said the two men became suspicious of a setup after they discovered Mendoza had removed a SIM card from her cell phone and that she had been testing to a “mystery number,” the Daily Mailreported. The news outlet also reported that in addition to Mendoza dating and living with Agular, she had also previously dated Palomino.
