The Strange Death of the United States Via Immigration

By Frosty Wooldridge

“Diversity within a nation destroys unity and leads to civil wars,” said social scientist Garret Hardin. “Immigration, a benefit during the youth of a nation, can act as a disease in its mature state. Too much internal diversity in large nations has led to violence and disintegration. We are now in the process of destabilizing our own country. The magic words of destabilizers are ‘diversity’ and ‘multiculturalism’.”

Aristotle said, “Tolerance and apathy are virtues of a dying society.”

If we keep traveling down this path by importing violent cultures into America, another author in the future will write a book: The Strange and Needless Death of America via Immigration.”

Illegal Immigration and Poor Americans

The Democrats and the left have a rallying cry regarding the Trump administration's policy toward those crossing the border illegally.  They point to the separation of children from their parents and deplorable conditions.  They claim that it is a humanitarian effort, but how humanitarian is it to drop off numerous unaccompanied children or release them into an unknown territory where they can become the victims of predators?  They never address the negative impact on the poor American citizen.
They are calling attention to pictures of children in cells, yet, in 2014, when Obama was president, American Thinker interviewed then-governor of Arizona Jan Brewer, who stated, "Each child has a designation of cells, such as 'cell 7 or cell 8.'  There is a chain link fence surrounding them and they are sleeping on bed mats with just a blanket.  It breaks my heart to see babies being born in these facilities.  I spoke with a fifteen-year-old who is pregnant.  I was told by a lot of these children that they had to pay between $5,000 and $7,000 and that they still owe money to those who brought them here.  You know what these cartels will do – use extortion.  We need to question if there were any children that never arrived, and what happened to them?  What about the potential for these children to be part of a human-trafficking ring?  Do we know anything about the people they are being released to?  As a mother, I can never conceive that these children would be sent with a stranger to a strange land on a fifteen-day hazardous journey.  I understand the humanitarian argument and feel the situation is pathetic and pitiful.  But what about the children who are American citizens living in ghettos and are fearful for their lives because of gang violence?  The bottom line is, America is not big enough or rich enough to accept all these people."
Another instance was told to American Thinker by a member of the Civil Rights Commission, Peter Kirsanow, who also happens to be a great thriller-writer, his latest being Second Strike.  A few years ago, he and his colleagues went to a Texas detention center and found the conditions to be the opposite of Arizona's.  "We found very nice facilities where the people there were given three meals a day, dental/medical care, clothing, and a nice recreational area.  Yet the majority report included two photos showing horrific conditions.  My assistant discovered that these were not of the detention center, but of prisons," which also separate families when either a mother or father is incarcerated.
Kirsanow is frustrated with what is happening in America today.  He is a black American and believes that illegal immigration has a devastating effect on low-income American citizens.  It seems that the Democrats and left are just using the illegal immigration issue as a talking point, supporting aliens at others' expense.  "We need to understand illegal immigrants have some negative competitive effects on American workers.  They drag down wage rates, drag down employment, and compete directly with blacks in industries such as service, hospitality, and construction.  Welfare and college spots have been taken from Americans and given to illegal immigrants.  They are a net drain on the economy."
Steven A. Camarota, director of research for the Center for Immigration Studies, agrees.  "Because the overwhelming share of illegal immigrants residing in the country have not completed high school or have only a high school education, it would require highly implausible assumptions to avoid a substantial net fiscal drain from this population.  In short, illegal immigrants are a large net fiscal drain because of their education levels, and this fact drives the results."
He compared the amount in annual expenditures on children in detention centers to those of American children: "the March 2017 Current Population Survey has 24 percent of American children living in a household making $35,000 or less.  And it is my understanding that is what we spend on kids in detention."
Senator Robert Kennedy was in the Mississippi Delta 50 years ago for a Senate subcommittee examination of War on Poverty programs.  Ellen B. Meacham wrote in an op-ed, "What he saw on his widely publicized trip shocked a nation, but Americans would be even more shocked to know that 50 years later, the Delta remains desperately poor," with one in three people running out of food each month.  Perhaps this is because the attention has shifted to the illegal alien.
Concerning the separation of families, the Heritage Foundation found that single parents make up the overwhelming majority of all poor families with children in the United States.  Welfare programs create disincentives to marriage because benefits are reduced as a family's income rises, such as food stamps, public housing, Medicaid, day care, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.
It is striking that the conditions of a poor American child do not draw the same attention and sympathy as children of illegal aliens.  Kirsanow wants people to understand that 73% of black children are born to a single mother, up from 20% in the 1960s.  "Liberal policies have been responsible for this.  The Democratic policies facilitate single parenthood, separating children from their families."
Kirsanow cites the statistic that competition from illegal aliens has caused 40% of the nineteen-point decline of black employment levels over a couple of decades.  "We are talking over a million jobs.  Black wage rates were suppressed by $1,000 annually.  Democrats are throwing blacks under the bus by appealing for the Hispanic vote by calling for open borders.  The lives of blacks in cities like Detroit, with uninterrupted Democratic rule for decades, have not improved significantly.  These policies have been devastating to blacks."
All Americans should strive to protect our fellow citizens and their interests first.  As Kirsanow summarized, "it is really disappointing to see an entire party more invested in the plight of foreigners than in the welfare of Americans.  The Democrats understand that even though they have policies devastating to blacks they still get 90% of their votes.  They have disjointed appeals to different identity groups, with electoral politics trumping all."

Migrant Families, Minors Crossing AZ Border Nearly Doubles 2017 Reports

Border Patrol agents in Arizona witnessed a near doubling in the number of migrant families and unaccompanied minors who are illegally crossing the border and putting their lives at risk in the desert.

A recent report released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reveals that the illegal crossing of Family Unit Aliens (FMUA) and Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) increased from 13,181 in Fiscal Year 2017 year-to-date (YTD) reports to 25,911 in Fiscal Year 2018 – a 98 percent increase, according to the August Southwest Border Migration report. Yuma and Tucson Sector officials reported these classes of migrants are crossing in large numbers from Mexico into the southern Arizona desert where at least 83 migrants died during calendar year 2018.
Yuma Sector officials reported the largest increases in both FMUA and UAC categories. The apprehension of FMUAs in the Yuma Sector increased from 5,429 in FY2017 to 12,367 — a 128 percent increase, CBP officials stated. UAC apprehensions almost doubled in this sector, rising from 2,534 in FY2017 to 5,060.
During the fiscal year’s final month (September), the numbers continue to swell. Yuma Sector agents recently arrested nearly 200 migrants in the desert during a 33-hour period, Breitbart Texas reported.
Between noon on Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday morning, Yuma Station agents arrested 23 groups of illegal immigrants after they crossed the border from Mexico. The 23 groups came to the U.S. from seven countries and included Family Unit Aliens (FMUA) and Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), according to Yuma Sector Border Patrol officials.
The largest cohort came to the U.S. from Guatemala (149). Officials said that 155 persons were in family units while 18 were unaccompanied minors.
“With the 128 percent increase in family unit apprehensions and 100 percent increase in unaccompanied alien children apprehensions in Yuma Sector, compared to the same time last year, we want to emphasize the extreme hazards that accompany crossing the border illegally during the summer months.” Yuma Sector Chief Patrol Agent Anthony Porvaznik told Breitbart Texas in response to an email inquiry. “With peak days reaching close to 130 degrees, parents who are planning on crossing the border illegally need to seriously reconsider the possibly fatal dangers they will not only be subjecting themselves to, but their children as well.”
Tucson Sector officials also witnessed a doubling in the number of family units apprehended in the desert. During the first 11 months of FY2017, agents arrested 1,907 families who illegally crossed from Mexico into the U.S. This more than doubled to 3,860 during the same period in FY2018, officials reported. Unaccompanied minors actually outnumbered family units during FY2018 in this sector. Agents 4,624 UACs in FY2017 — up from 3,311 in FY2017 (a 40 percent increase).

According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform’s 2017 report, illegal immigrants, and their children, cost American taxpayers a net $116 billion annually -- roughly $7,000 per alien annually. While high, this number is not an outlier: a recent study by the Heritage Foundation found that low-skilled immigrants (including those here illegally) cost Americans trillions over the course of their lifetimes, and a study from the National Economics Editorial found that illegal immigration costs America over $140 billion annually. As it stands, illegal immigrants are a massive burden on American taxpayers.

There are 10.4 million children who are US citizens with at least one noncitizen parent. Of this group, nearly 6 million children receive public health benefits. These families could be separated if a parent is considered a public charge and not granted legal permanent residency.

US announces new barrier to citizenship for low-income immigrants

By Meenakshi Jagadeesan
29 September 2018
On Friday, US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielson signed a proposed new rule that will require all immigrants applying for permanent legal status or citizenship to provide evidence of their financial status, including applications for public benefits, proof of private health insurance and credit histories and scores.
The rule is another major step in the Trump administration’s drive to create a class-based immigration system. The DHS defends the new rule as a means of preventing immigrants who may become a “public charge” from acquiring permanent legal status.
This is supposedly being done to prevent

foreigners from becoming a “burden” on the

American taxpayer. Neither the Trump

administration nor its nominal opposition in

the Democratic Party evinces a similar

concern for the burden on the average

taxpayer of multitrillion-dollar tax cuts for

corporations and the rich.
According to the proposal, a credit check is needed to reveal an individual’s bill payment history, current debt, work history, bankruptcies and, most importantly, whether a person can be “self-sufficient” in the United States.
This proposal follows a regulation change announced last week that will effectively bar immigrants from acquiring permanent legal status if their families have used social programs. That new policy labels as public charges all undocumented immigrants who have ever used cash or noncash benefits—such as food stamps, housing vouchers or Medicaid—making it all but impossible for them to obtain permanent legal status (a green card). This directly affects just under 10 million undocumented workers who have already used the benefits outlined in the rule.
Millions more immigrant workers will be affected because they will forgo use of public benefits for themselves and the children for fear of being branded “public charges” and targeted for deportation. The rule, as numerous studies have pointed out and even the DHS itself has acknowledged, disproportionately targets the most vulnerable sections of the population, including pregnant women, infants and children and will increase poverty rates.
There are 10.4 million children who are US citizens with at least one noncitizen parent. Of this group, nearly 6 million children receive public health benefits. These families could be separated if a parent is considered a public charge and not granted legal permanent residency.

A 10-day ICE operation in North Texas and Oklahoma led to the arrest of almost 100 people.

Melting Pot or Civil War?: A Son of Immigrants Makes the Case Against Open Borders

By Reihan Salam

Sentinel, 224 pp.

Hardcover, ISBN: 0735216274, $17.70

Paperback, ISBN: 0520297113, $28.00

Kindle, 1438 KB, ASIN: B06W599DSM, $13.99

Book Description: For too long, liberals have suggested that only cruel, racist, or nativist bigots would want to restrict immigration. Anyone motivated by compassion and egalitarianism would choose open, or nearly-open, borders—or so the argument goes. Now, Reihan Salam, the son of Bangladeshi immigrants, turns this argument on its head.

In this deeply researched but also deeply personal book, Salam shows why uncontrolled immigration is bad for everyone, including people like his family. Our current system has intensified the isolation of our native poor, and risks ghettoizing the children of poor immigrants. It ignores the challenges posed by the declining demand for less-skilled labor, even as it exacerbates ethnic inequality and deepens our political divides.

If we continue on our current course, in which immigration policy serves wealthy insiders who profit from cheap labor, and cosmopolitan extremists attack the legitimacy of borders, the rise of a new ethnic underclass is inevitable. Even more so than now, class politics will be ethnic politics, and national unity will be impossible.

Salam offers a solution, if we have the courage to break with the past and craft an immigration policy that serves our long-term national interests. Rejecting both militant multiculturalism and white identity politics, he argues that limiting total immigration and favoring skilled immigrants will combat rising inequality, balance diversity with assimilation, and foster a new nationalism that puts the interests of all Americans—native-born and foreign-born—first.

America is a nation with a severe housing crisis, a million legals who are homeless, tens of millions of legals who have given up finding a job that pays living wages and yet the borders are open to keep the hordes coming simply to keep wages DEPRESSED.

"In the decade following the financial crisis of 2007-2008, the capitalist class has delivered powerful blows to the social position of the working class. As a result, the working class in the US, the world’s “richest country,” faces levels of economic hardship not seen since the 1930s."

"Inequality has reached unprecedented levels: the wealth of America’s three richest people now equals the net worth of the poorest half of the US population."
Americans spent almost $100 billion to support 606,000 poor refugees in the 10 years up to 2014, according to a State Department report.

The $96.6 billion cost rises to $126 billion when officials count the extra cost of paying for the refugees’ spouses and children, including U.S.-born children.
The $126 billion bill is just for programs managed by the Department of Health and Human Services. It excludes additional taxpayers’ spending via state programs, as well as federal spending on Social Security, education, and housing programs, plus tax credits, says the State Department’s annual report to Congress on the refugee program.
The one-agency, $126-billion firehose of cash, however, was a huge taxpayer subsidy to the refugee groups which delivered the refugee to cities and towns. It is also a huge subsidy to the low-wage employers who hired the refugees in place of higher-wage Americans, and to the grocery stores and apartments who sold food and rented apartments to the new arrivals.
The huge cost adds up to $670 per working American, not counting the hard-to-assess costs of crowded schoolrooms, flooded labor markets, civic diversity, and shifts in political power away from Americans.
The massive spending will continue because the vast majority of the 606,000 refugees remain in the United States, mostly in low-skilled jobs, and will age into retirement. Since 2014, former President Barack Obama imported an additional 155,000 refugees.
The expenses are high because few of the refugees have the skills to earn a good living. The report noted:
Education level: Respondents age 25 or older averaged 8.7 years of education before arrival; about half did not have a high school diploma upon arrival; and 29 percent of refugees age 25 or older listed their prior educational attainment as “none.” Among respondents age 18 and older, 16 percent were pursuing a degree of some kind, with most seeking high school equivalency.
English language proficiency: Respondents improved their English over time, but large deficits remain. Among refugees age 18 or older who had lived in the United States between 4.5 and 6.5 years, 53 percent spoke English “not well” or “not at all,” based on self-assessments.
Employment: 59 percent of respondents ages 16 to 64 were employed, lower than the 67.5 percent employment rate for native-born members of the U.S. population. Male respondents were employed at a rate roughly on par with the U.S. population after being in the United States for only two years. Employed refugees age 18 or older earned $12 per hour on average.
Public benefits use: Two percent of respondent households reported public assistance as their only source of income; 27 percent received cash welfare of some kind, most often Supplemental Security Income (SSI); and 56 percent received Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. Among respondents age 18 or older, 57 percent reported having health coverage throughout the previous year, while 34 percent reported no health coverage. Among those with coverage, about half received Medicaid or Refugee Medical Assistance.
President Donald Trump has dramatically braked the inflow to 53,000 refugees in 2017 and has promised to accept a maximum of 30,000 organized-inflow refugees in 2019.
Also, the Department of Homeland Security has announced a new regulation to deny visas and green cards to foreigners who poor, unskilled, or old. For the moment, the rule does not apply to refugees.
Trump’s slowdown has reduced the impact of refugee migration on Americans cities, such as Lewiston, Maine, or Kansas City, Kansas.

The reduced inflow has also forced many employers, especially meatpackers, to raise wages for Americans. Breitbart News reported:
The JBS meatpacking company has raised salaries by 25 percent to help persuade more people to work in a Texas slaughterhouse, according to the Washington Post.
But that good news, however, is buried by the Post‘s endorsement of the meatpackers’ business strategy, which uses federal immigration programs to recruit replacements for injured or exhausted American (or migrant) workers and to minimize investment in labor-saving automation …
Overall, the Post‘s article is wrapped up in a self-serving view of immigration held by many progressives who justify the importation of a subservient class into the United States by promising that the immigrants’ children will advance in society. The article concludes with [Stan] Corbin’s progressive promise that “their children will grow up to be engineers … [but now] there is a great need for laborers.”
In this view, the U.S. meatpacking industry is a social service agency for the world’s poor which also provides liberals with cheap restaurants plus the satisfaction of helping distant foreigners. This “telescopic philanthropy” allows urban liberals to feel good about their generosity to foreigners while they ignore the costs they impose on nearby American communities, including the American blue-collar workers who see their salaries cut and the American children who are forced into overcrowded and dysfunctional classrooms.
The State Department’s report provided a chart showing how the HHS agency spent the money:
The report detailed which migrants were treated as refugees:
HHS estimated expenditures from the major HHS programs assisting refugees and asylees and their dependents over the 10-year period 2005-2014. For purposes of its analysis, HHS included individuals who entered the United States since 1980 as refugees, asylees, Iraqi and Afghan Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders and their spouses and unmarried children under the age of 21, Cuban and Haitian entrants, certain Amerasians from Vietnam, victims of a severe form of trafficking who have received certification or eligibility letters from ORR, trafficking victims family members with T nonimmigrant visas, and some victims of torture. Individuals who later changed their immigration status to legal permanent resident or naturalized as U.S. citizens are included as well.
Four million young Americans will join the workforce this year, but the federal government will also import 1.1 million legal immigrants, and allows an army of at least 2 million blue-collar and white-collar visa-workers to work U.S. jobs, alongside asylum-claiming migrants and illegal aliens.
Overall, the Washington-imposed economic policy of economic growth via immigration shifts wealth from young people towards older people by flooding the market with cheap white-collar and blue-collar foreign labor.

That flood of outside labor spikes profits and Wall Street values by cutting salaries for manual and skilled labor offered by blue-collar and white-collar employees. The policy also drives up real estate priceswidens wealth-gaps, reduces high-tech investment, increases state and local tax burdens, hurts kids’ schools and college education, pushes Americans away from high-tech careers, and sidelines at least 5 million marginalized Americans and their families, including many who are now struggling with opioid addictions. Immigration also pulls investment and wealth away from heartland states because investment flows towards the large immigrant populations living in the coastal states.

New study estimates disturbing number of illegals in USA.

New study estimates 16 to 29 million illegals in USA, as false-documented criminals claim American victims such as Mollie Tibbetts and NFL player Edwin Jackson.
The population of the United States is approximately 328 million and any observer might think it strange if the 2018 figure was still the 316 million from 2013 or 309 million from 2009.  This raises questions about the number of people in the United States illegally.
“The number of undocumented immigrants living in the United States stayed steady for an eighth straight year in 2016 with 11.3 million people,” reported USA Today last year, citing a report from Pew Research that pegs the “unauthorized” population as “no different from the 2009 or 2015 estimates.” Those who view the 11.3 estimate as bogus now have some support.
A new study from Yale and MIT researchers estimates a range of 16 to 29 million with 22.1 million as the mean. So the number of false-documented illegals in the United States could easily be twice the 11.3 million Pew figure and more than the entire population of Chile (18.1 million), and approaching Taiwan (23.6 million) and Australia, with 24.7 million.
In May, National Public radio claimed “four academic studies show that illegal immigration does not increase the prevalence of violent crime or drug and alcohol problems.” Some illegals who don’t fit that profile have been in the news of late.
Last Friday, Guatemalan national Manuel Orrego-Savala was sentenced to 16 years in prison for killing Edwin Jackson, a linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League. The white Guatemalan illegal had a blood-alcohol content nearly two and a half times the legal limit when he crashed his truck into Jackson, killing the African American and his Uber driver Jeffrey Monroe.
Orrego-Savala, or whatever his real name is, was in the country illegally and had been deported in 2007 and 2009, returning with no difficulty. Jackson’s mother, Mary Ellen Powell Jackson, got the news as she was leaving church. “Our hearts have been ripped apart and we’re always asking, ‘Why Edwin?’” she told reporters, a hardworking, caring son with “a heart of gold.”
Deborah Monroe, Jeffrey’s widow, spoke directly to the Guatemalan illegal. “My family and I are serving a life sentence because of you,” Monroe said, “you’re a drunk, a liar, a murderer and a coward.”
Last Wednesday, a Mexican who calls himself Cristhian Rivera pleaded not guilty to the murder of University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts, 20. She died from “multiple sharp force injuries,” after being abducted by the false-documented Mexican, who claims he “blacked out,” and doesn’t remember stabbing Tibbetts to death.
The murder victim’s brother, Jake Tibbets, told Fox News his sister, “a beautiful young girl,” was killed by a “horrible person that came in from Mexico, illegally.” Investigators said he entered illegally between four and seven years ago, evidence that the border is totally porous and that U.S. officials have no clue how many illegals are in the United States.
One of the illegals is Mexican national Luis Bracamontes, who in 2014 in Sacramento gunned down police officers Danny Oliver and Michael Davis. In his trial earlier this year, the Mexican said “I wish I had killed more of the motherfuckers” and called witness Anthony Holmes a “nigger” before yelling at the jury “black lives don’t matter!” The racist Mexican had also been previously deported.
So had the Mexican criminal calling himself Garcia Zarate, along with other fake names. He was slated to be handed over to federal officials but in 2015 the sanctuary city of San Francisco released him. The Mexican criminal then gunned down Kate Steinle on a San Francisco pier. A San Francisco jury found Garcia Zarate not guilty and defense attorney Francisco Ugarte called the verdict “a vindication for the rights of immigrants.”
Mexican national Juan Corona was deported in 1956 but duly returned and became a labor contractor. Corona wound up killing 25, including Charles Fleming, Melford Sample, Donald Smith, John J. Haluka, Warren Kelley, Sigurd Beierman, William Emery Kamp, Clarence Hocking, James W. Howard, Jonah R. Smallwood, Elbert T. Riley, Paul B. Allen, Edward Martin Cupp, Albert Hayes, Raymond Muchache, John H. Jackson, Lloyd Wallace Wenzel, Mark Beverly Shields, Sam Bonafide and Joseph Maczak.
Not a single one  was Mexican and Corona also sodomized the victims and mutilated them with a machete. So the worst murderer in California and possibly U.S. history, now 84, was not even supposed to be in the country. Neither was Mexican national Lorenzo Sanchez, who raped 12-year-old Cally Jo Larson, stabbed her in the chest, then strung up the victim’s bleeding body from a staircase banister.
Even those who didn’t vote for Donald Trump might think that kind of violent crime calls for tough border security and building the wall.  As the president recently tweeted.
“I want to know, where is the money for Border Security and the WALL in this ridiculous Spending Bill, and where will it come from after the Midterms? Dems are obstructing Law Enforcement and Border Security. REPUBLICANS MUST FINALLY GET TOUGH!”
So far they aren’t, and the left doesn’t want the government to know how many false-documented illegals are criminals or even how many illegals are in the country. The Trump administration has proposed a citizenship question on the 2020 census. The ACLU calls this  “a deliberate attempt by President Trump to once again attack immigrants.”

“According to the Centers for Immigration Studies, April '11, at least 70% of Mexican illegal alien families receive some type of welfare in the US!!!”

So when cities across the country declare that they will NOT be sanctuary, guess where ALL the illegals, criminals, gang members fleeing ICE will go???? straight to your welcoming city. So ironically the people fighting for sanctuary city status, may have an unprecedented crime wave to deal with along with the additional expense.

$17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.

$12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English.

$22 billion is spent on (AFDC) welfare to illegal aliens each year.

$2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as (SNAP) food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.

$3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens.
30% percent of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens. Does not include local jails and State Prisons.

2012 illegal aliens sent home $62 BILLION in remittances back to their countries of origin. This is why Mexico is getting involved in our politics.

$200 Billion Dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.

Nearly One Million Sex Crimes Committed by Illegal Immigrants In The United States.

This is why you work From Jan - May paying taxes to the government ....with the rest of the calendar year is money for you and your family.

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or 6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, with his fake Social Security number, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200..... free.

He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.

He qualifies for food stamps.

He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.

His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.

He requires bilingual teachers and books.

He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.

If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI.

Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at (our) taxpayer's expense.

He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.

Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.

He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.

Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after Paying their bills and his.

The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.

Cheap labor? YEAH RIGHT! Wake up people!

‘Diversity,’ Illegal Immigration and Destroying America

By Frank Gaffney, Jr.

Center for Security Policy, February 20, 2018

Now that official Washington’s political oxygen is being consumed by the latest school shooting, it’s easy to forget abiding disagreements about immigration policy. Yet, until supplanted by the current children’s crusade for gun control, it was the so-called “DACA kids” who had to be accommodated with a massive amnesty.

Just as we seem determined to ignore factors in mass murders like the pop culture’s role in inculcating a lust for violence – the more, the better, what passes for debate about illegal aliens is increasingly unmoored from any discussion of their impact on American society.

It’s time to reprise a 2003 warning by Democratic former Colorado governor Dick Lamm about a “secret plan” that is destroying our country through the combined effects of unchecked immigration, the “diversity” agenda and abandoning our national principle of “out of many, one.” This lunacy must end.

Mexican Cartel Tunnel Discovered at California Border

Cartel tunnel
U.S. Border Patrol

The Mexican military, in coordination with the Baja California Norte State Preventive Police (PEP), discovered a narco-tunnel leading into California late last week.

The tunnel was discovered on September 20 in the rural farming community of Ejido Jacume, located in the outskirts of Tecate–across the border from Jacumba Hot Springs, California. The tunnel was discovered after security forces received an anonymous report about the location. Authorities found the remote property with a residential structure containing the tunnel. The illicit infrastructure was operational for at least two years, according to local media reports. Officials said two weapons were located inside the residence: one rifle, and one handgun. No arrests were reported.
The cross-border tunnel was the fifth discovered during the current administration of Governor Francisco Arturo Vega de Lamadrid as part of the “Cruzada por la Seguridad, Tarea de Todos” (“Crusade for Security, everyone’s task”), according to the governor’s office.
Breitbart Texas reported on several incidents in the northern border region of Baja California and the United States. Police discovered a major drug lab on August 25, resulting in the seizure of four tons of methamphetamine. A fentanyl drug lab was also recently found in nearby Mexicali, where 20,000 tablets were seized along with precursor chemicals. In April 2018, a sophisticated tunnel measuring approximately 740 yards from Mexicali to Calexico, California, was discovered by the Mexican Army and Federal Police.

Adios, Sanctuary La Raza Welfare State of California
A fifth-generation Californian laments his state’s ongoing economic collapse.
By Steve Baldwin
American Spectator, October 19, 2017
What’s clear is that the producers are leaving the state and the takers are coming in. Many of the takers are illegal aliens, now estimated to number over 2.6 million.
The Federation for American Immigration Reform estimates that California spends $22 billion on government services for illegal aliens, including welfare, education, Medicaid, and criminal justice system costs.

Liberals claim they more than make that up with taxes paid, but that’s simply not true. It’s not even close. FAIR estimates illegal aliens in California contribute only $1.21 billion in tax revenue, which means they cost California $20.6 billion, or at least $1,800 per household.
Nonetheless, open border advocates, such as Facebook Chairman Mark Zuckerberg, claim illegal aliens are a net benefit to California with little evidence to support such an assertion. As the Center for Immigration Studies has documented, the vast majority of illegals are poor, uneducated, and with few skills. How does accepting millions of illegal aliens and then granting them access to dozens of welfare programs benefit California’s economy? If illegal aliens were contributing to the economy in any meaningful way, California, with its 2.6 million illegal aliens, would be booming.
Furthermore, the complexion of illegal aliens has changed with far more on welfare and committing crimes than those who entered the country in the 1980s.
Heather Mac Donald of the Manhattan Institute has testified before a Congressional committee that in 2004, 95% of all outstanding warrants for murder in Los Angeles were for illegal aliens; in 2000, 23% of all Los Angeles County jail inmates were illegal aliens and that in 1995, 60% of Los Angeles’s largest street gang, the 18th Street gang, were illegal aliens. Granted, those statistics are old, but if you talk to any California law enforcement officer, they will tell you it’s much worse today. The problem is that the Brown administration will not release any statewide data on illegal alien crimes. That would be insensitive. And now that California has declared itself a “sanctuary state,” there is little doubt this sends a message south of the border that will further escalate illegal immigration into the state.
"If the racist "Sensenbrenner Legislation" passes the US Senate, there is no doubt that a massive civil disobedience movement will emerge. Eventually labor union power can merge with the immigrant civil rights and "Immigrant Sanctuary" movements to enable us to either form a new political party or to do heavy duty reforming of the existing Democratic Party. The next and final steps would follow and that is to elect our own governors of all the states within Aztlan."
Indeed, California goes out of its way to attract illegal aliens. The state has even created government programs that cater exclusively to illegal aliens. For example, the State Department of Motor Vehicles has offices that only process driver licenses for illegal aliens. With over a million illegal aliens now driving in California, the state felt compelled to help them avoid the long lines the rest of us must endure at the DMV.
And just recently, the state-funded University of California system announced it will spend $27 million on financial aid for illegal aliens. They’ve even taken out radio spots on stations all along the border, just to make sure other potential illegal border crossers hear about this program. I can’t afford college education for all my four sons, but my taxes will pay for illegals to get a college education.

If Immigration Creates Wealth, Why Is California America's Poverty Capital?

California used to be home to America's largest and most affluent middle class.  Today, it is America's poverty capital.  What went wrong?  In a word: immigration.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau's Official Poverty Measure, California's poverty rate hovers around 15 percent.  But this figure is misleading: the Census Bureau measures poverty relative to a uniform national standard, which doesn't account for differences in living costs between states – the cost of taxes, housing, and health care are higher in California than in Oklahoma, for example.  Accounting for these differences reveals that California's real poverty rate is 20.6 percent – the highest in America, and nearly twice the national average of 12.7 percent.

Likewise, income inequality in California is the second-highest in America, behind only New York.  In fact, if California were an independent country, it would be the 17th most unequal country on Earth, nestled comfortably between Honduras and Guatemala.  Mexico is slightly more egalitarian.  California is far more unequal than the "social democracies" it emulates: Canada is the 111th most unequal nation, while Norway is far down the list at number 153 (out of 176 countries).  In terms of income inequality, California has more in common with banana republics than other "social democracies."

More Government, More Poverty
High taxes, excessive regulations, and a lavish welfare state – these are the standard explanations for California's poverty epidemic.  They have some merit.  For example, California has both the highest personal income tax rate and the highest sales tax in America, according to Politifact.

Not only are California's taxes high, but successive "progressive" governments have swamped the state in a sea of red tape.  Onerous regulations cripple small businesses and retard economic growth.  Kerry Jackson, a fellow with the Pacific Research Institute, gives a few specific examples of how excessive government regulation hurts California's poor.  He writes in a recent op-ed for the Los Angeles Times:
Extensive environmental regulations aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions make energy more expensive, also hurting the poor.  By some estimates, California energy costs are as much as 50% higher than the national average.  Jonathan A. Lesser of Continental Economics ... found that "in 2012, nearly 1 million California households faced ... energy expenditures exceeding 10% of household income."
Some government regulation is necessary and desirable, but most of California's is not.  There is virtue in governing with a "light touch."
Finally, California's welfare state is, perhaps paradoxically, a source of poverty in the state.  The Orange Country Register reports that California's social safety net is comparable in scale to those found in Europe:
In California a mother with two children under the age of 5 who participates in these major welfare programs – Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (food stamps), housing assistance, home energy assistance, Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children – would receive a benefits package worth $30,828 per year.
... [Similar] benefits in Europe ranged from $38,588 per year in Denmark to just $1,112 in Romania.  The California benefits package is higher than in well-known welfare states as France ($17,324), Germany ($23,257) and even Sweden ($22,111).
Although welfare states ideally help the poor, reality is messy.  There are three main problems with the welfare state.  First, it incentivizes poverty by rewardingthe poor with government handouts that are often far more valuable than a job.  This can be ameliorated to some degree by imposing work requirements on welfare recipients, but in practice, such requirements are rarely imposed.  Second, welfare states are expensive.  This means higher taxes and therefore slower economic growth and fewer job opportunities for everyone – including the poor.
Finally, welfare states are magnets for the poor.  Whether through domestic migration or foreign immigration, poor people flock to places with generous welfare states.  This is logical from the immigrant's perspective, but it makes little sense from the taxpayer's.  This fact is why socialism and open borders arefundamentally incompatible.

Why Big Government?
Since 1960, California's population exploded from 15.9 to 39 million people.  The growth was almost entirely due to immigration – many people came from other states, but the majority came from abroad.  The Public Policy Institute of California estimates that 10 million immigrants currently reside in California.  This works out to 26 percent of the state's population.

This figure includes 2.4 million illegal aliens, although a recent study from Yale University suggests that the true number of aliens is at least double that.  Modifying the initial figure implies that nearly one in three Californians is an immigrant.  This is not to disparage California's immigrant population, but it is madness to deny that such a large influx of people has changed California's society and economy.

Importantly, immigrants vote Democrat by a ratio higher than 2:1, according to a report from the Center for Immigration Studies.  In California, immigration has increased the pool of likely Democrat voters by nearly 5 million people, compared to just 2.4 million additional likely Republican voters.  Not only does this almost guarantee Democratic victories, but it also shifts California's political midpoint to the left.  This means that to remain competitive in elections, the Republicans must abandon or soften many conservative positions so as to cater to the center.
California became a Democratic stronghold not because Californians became socialists, but because millions of socialists moved there.  Immigration turned California blue, and immigration is ultimately to blame for California's high poverty level.

De facto apartheid world in the Golden State.

THE INVASION OF AMERICA: Staggering violent crime, staggering welfare and they vote Democrat for more!

“Part of the problem, Santorum said, has been the arrival of millions of unskilled immigrants — legal and illegal — in the United States. "American workers deserve a shot at [good] jobs," Santorum said. "Over the last 20 years, we have brought into this country, legally and illegally, 35 MILLION mostly unskilled workers. And the result, over that same period of time, workers' wages and family incomes have flatlined." SEN. RICK SANTORUM

This map shows the total cumulative number of aliens who were removed by ICE in each county between October 2008, and February 2015, after identification through the Secure Communities program.
The total number of removals shown is 406,441, which is a subset of all ICE removals. The three counties with the most cumulative removals over the period were Los Angeles County, Calif.; Maricopa County, Ariz.; and Harris County, Texas, which all were among the first places in the country where Secure Communities was activated.
The cumulative totals are a function of several factors in combination: 1) the number of non-citizens who were arrested and identified in each jurisdiction; 2) ICE's ability to take custody and process the aliens who are identified; and 3) the extent of cooperation provided by county sheriffs. The greater the number of criminal alien arrests, ICE capacity, and local cooperation in a jurisdiction, the greater the number of removals ICE can carry out and, by extension, the greater the public safety benefits for each county.
The Secure Communities program was discontinued as part of President Obama's executive actions of November 2014. It was replaced by the Priority Enforcement Program, which has set up significant logistical and political hurdles for ICE in taking custody of criminal aliens.

Man deported 6 times charged in California homeless killings
Man deported 6 times charged in California homeless killings
The Associated Press

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A man who was deported six times and is now suspected in a string of killings and beatings that targeted sleeping homeless people in Southern California was charged Wednesday with murder, attempted murder robbery, authorities said.
Authorities say suspect Ramon Alberto Escobar has a long criminal record in the U.S. and has been repeatedly deported to his native El Salvador.
His arraignment is expected in Los Angeles later in the day.
The 47-year-old Escobar is charged with three counts of murder, five counts of attempted murder and four counts of second-degree robbery.
He also faces special circumstance allegations of multiple murders and murder during the commission of a robbery, making him eligible for the death penalty.
It could not be immediately determined if he had an attorney.
Meanwhile, police in Houston want to talk to Escobar again about the disappearance of his aunt. He was not a suspect when he was first questioned Aug. 30, Houston police spokesman Kese Smith said.
Investigators spoke with Escobar because he was one of the last people to see Dina Escobar, 60, before she vanished in late August.
Authorities say they found no outstanding warrants and released Ramon Escobar before the three men were beaten to death in California.
Escobar said at the time that he was in the country on a work visa, Smith said, a claim echoed by family members.
“We had no probable cause to arrest or book him,” Smith said.
Immigration status is checked by Houston police only when a person is being booked into the city jail after being charged with a crime, Smith said.
Escobar, believed to be homeless himself, likely targeted victims to rob them, Los Angeles police Capt. William Hayes said.
Detectives have seized a wooden baseball bat and bolt cutters that they believe were used to bludgeon men on the beach or on the street in Los Angeles and Santa Monica, police said. All but one of the men was homeless.
Escobar was being held without bail. U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officials have filed a detainer seeking to take him into custody if he is released, the agency said.
Escobar was first ordered removed from the country in 1988 and was deported to his native El Salvador six times between 1997 and 2011, ICE said in a statement.
He was released from ICE custody last year after successfully appealing his latest immigration case, ICE said. The agency didn’t indicate his current legal status.
However, Escobar has six felony convictions for burglary and illegal reentry, the agency said.
Escobar spent five years in prison for robbery starting in the mid-1990s, Hayes said. Records in Texas show Escobar has had arrests for vehicle burglary, trespassing, failure to stop, public intoxication and two assaults, most recently in November 2017. That case was a misdemeanor.
Dina Escobar’s burned van was found in Galveston, Texas, a few days after she went looking for her brother. She was last seen Aug. 28, two days after her brother vanished, the statement said.
Dina Escobar’s daughter, Ligia Salamanca, told KTRK-TV in Houston that her cousin, Ramon Escobar, had never come across as violent and wasn’t a source of trouble for the family.
“She loved him as she would a son,” Salamanca said of her mother’s devotion to Ramon Escobar.
Salamanca said he had been looking for work and needed a place to stay, so he was taken in by his uncle, 65-year-old Rogelio Escobar, who also went missing.
Investigators believe Ramon Escobar used a baseball bat to bash the heads of three homeless men sleeping on downtown Los Angeles streets before dawn on Sept. 16, police said in a statement. Two died.
Two homeless men sleeping on the beach were bludgeoned in the head early on Sept. 8 and Sept. 10, leaving one in critical condition, officials said.
Another man who apparently was sleeping on the beach was found dead under the Santa Monica Pier on Sept. 20. Steven Ray Cruze Jr., 39, of San Gabriel had been beaten to death.
Authorities at first described him as homeless, but family and friends said the father of two, who loved to fish at the pier, worked on boats in neighboring Marina del Rey and sometimes camped out under the pier to avoid the long commute home.
journalists Elliot Spagat in San Diego, Robert Jablon and John Antczak in Los Angeles, David Warren in Dallas and researcher Jennifer Farrar in New York contributed to this report.
Five-Times-Deported Illegal Alien Gets Life in Prison for Raping, Beating Women
Five-Time Deported Illegal Alien Gets Life in Prison for Raping, Beating Women

Travis County Sheriff's Office

A five-time deported illegal alien accused of sexually assaulting seven women, including raping many of them and beating them, has been sentenced to life in prison.

In 2016, Breitbart Texas reported that 27-year-old illegal alien Nicondemo Coria-Gonzales had been arrested after being accused of raping and beating multiple women. Coria-Gonzales was deported five times before being arrested on the sexual assault charges.

Last week, the illegal alien was given a life sentence by a jury that found him guilty of sexually assaulting and attacking multiple women in the Austin, Texas, area.
Coria-Gonzales had been previously convicted for three separate drunk driving incidents. He was deported in 2012 but continued returning to the U.S. to commit more crimes. His last deportation was in August 2016.
One of the illegal alien’s sexual assault victims told the courtroom during Coria-Gonzales’ sentencing that the attack that she endured had made her stronger and that she had forgiven her attacker.
“I’m thankful for this storm you put me through because without it I wouldn’t know my strength, my self-worth and my power,” the victim said, according to the American-Statesman.

Illegal Alien Accused of Murdering Crew Mate on Nantucket Fishing Boat (THE MAN IS A DACA)

Illegal Alien Accused of Murdering Crew Mate on Nantucket Fishing Boat
Newport New Police Department

A Mexican national living in the U.S. illegally has been accused of murdering his crewmate Sunday while on a fishing boat off the coast of Massachusetts.
Authorities arrested Franklin Freddy Meave Vazquez, 27, and charged him with one count of murder and one count of attempted murder for allegedly attacking three crew members, killing one and injuring two others, with a hammer and a knife, WCVB reported.
Vazquez was one of seven crew members aboard the Captain Billy Haver, a fishing vessel sailing 55 miles off Nantucket’s coast, and he ran towards one of his crewmates with a knife in one hand and a hammer in another, prosecutors say.
One of the victims said he fought off Vazquez’s attack when he noticed his fellow shipmate lying on the vessel’s deck in a pool of blood, the Daily Mail reported.
The illegal alien suspect allegedly attacked a third crew member before climbing up the ship’s mast in an attempt to escape from the vessel while crew members tried to catch him.
The Virginia-based vessel put out a distress call Sunday afternoon, alerting two ships in the area. German cruise ship Mein Schiff 6 was the first to respond, bringing two of the victims aboard the ship for medical treatment. The cruise ship’s doctor also pronounced the third victim dead.
A U.S. Coast Guard vessel was the second to respond, bringing law enforcement personnel aboard the fishing vessel to arrest Vazquez, WHDH reported.
The Coast Guard and the German cruise ship then accompanied the fishing vessel to the port of Boston, where Vazquez was placed in federal custody.
Court documents state that Vazquez had been living in the U.S. illegally and had a prior arrest in Newport News, Virginia, in March for abduction by force, intimidation, and deception.
Vazquez was then released on bond into the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). ICE then released Vazquez on April 23, records show.
If convicted, Vazquez faces a maximum penalty of up to life in prison and a $250,000 fine. If he is released from prison, he would likely be released to the custody of ICE and then deported.

GRAPHIC — Mexican Army Kills 5 Cartel Gunmen near Texas Border

The battles took place recently in Ciudad Mier, directly south of Starr County, Texas. According to information obtained by Breitbart Texas, a military squad spotted a convoy of about 10 SUVs with cartel gunmen near the town square.
As Breitbart Texas reported, the Gulf Cartel is deploying heavily armed gunmen throughout the region in response to incursions from a rival organization. The convoys were tied to multiple, large-scale battles in recent days.
When the Mexican military tried to stop the approaching gunmen, they came under fire–leading to a fierce battle where the soldiers killed one cartel shooter as the rest managed an escape. Authorities called for reinforcements and sent a large contingent aimed at tracking down the remainders.
Military forces and cartel gunmen clashed once more near the town of Guerrero, also immediately south of Starr County. The large-scale gun battle killed at least four cartel men, however, residents reported finding numerous puddles of blood throughout the area and several SUVs damaged by gunfire.
Editor’s Note: Breitbart Texas traveled to the Mexican States of Tamaulipas, Coahuila, and Nuevo León to recruit citizen journalists willing to risk their lives and expose the cartels silencing their communities.  The writers would face certain death at the hands of the various cartels that operate in those areas including the Gulf Cartel and Los Zetas if a pseudonym were not used. Breitbart Texas’ Cartel Chronicles are published in both English and in their original Spanish. GRAPHIC — Mexican Cartel Kills 10 Victims in 11 Hours

The murders took place on Saturday in a rural region of Michoacan with a growing number of crime scenes reported in the cities Nueva Italia, Apatzingan, Uruapan, and Sahuayo. While authorities did not release any formal information, intelligence sources revealed to Breitbart Texas that Los Viagras Cartel is the responsible group.
Los Viagras continues its Michoacan dominance while receiving protection from top state officials. The growing number of murder victims comes at a time when the head of Mexico’s National Security Commission Renato Sales Heredia made statements aboutpolice being a national example to follow despite their cartel collusion.
Breitbart Texas reported exclusively on various instances where top cartel bosses appear to interact amicably with police and military forces.

GRAPHIC – 7 Human Heads Dumped in Mexican Border State

Police discovered seven heads abandoned in an ice cooler Friday morning in the rural community of Bácum, Sonora–sparking fears of an escalation in an ongoing territorial cartel war.

Security elements of the State Public Security Police (PESP) and investigators assigned to the State Attorney General’s Office responded to a report of heads in a cooler at approximately 4 am, according to local media. Authorities determined that all victims were males between the ages of 25 and 40 and were believed kidnapped several hours earlier in the town of Francisco Javier Mina.
According to authorities and Breitbart Texas law enforcement contacts, the Friday morning executions and the general escalation in violence in the region can be attributed to a territorial dispute between “Los Salazar,” aligned with the Sinaloa Cartel, and Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG). This dispute began in 2017 as CJNG moved into southern Sonora to challenge the Sinaloa Cartel’s dominance over routes to the U.S. drug markets.
According to local media reports, the small community of Bácum has registered 150 homicides.

GRAPHIC: Cartel Gunmen Carry Out Early Morning Hits in Mexican Border State

This week, Ciudad Victoria, the capital of Tamaulipas, witnessed a series of executions where a group of assassins arrived at the houses of their victims at dawn and used assault rifles to kill them. The first execution took place in the Horacio Terán neighborhood in the southern part of the city where 52-year-old Hortencia “N” and an unidentified man died after being shot three times in the head.
According to information provided to Breitbart Texas by state authorities, neighbors reported hearing several gunshots at 6 a.m. so they called the authorities. By the time authorities and emergency personnel arrived, the victims were already dead and the gunmen escaped from the scene.
The double murder occurred at about the same time that another group of hit men killed an ex-convict named Ricardo “El Riki” Gonzalez Villanueva. According to information provided to Breitbart Texas by authorities, the gunmen also caught the victim by surprise at his home when two cartel hitmen entered and shot him multiple times in the head.
Also this week, a group of hitmen executed two men outside a house in the Luis Echeverria neighborhood. The gunmen shot their victims with machine guns at close range before fleeing. According to police sources, the executions are related to the territorial disputes between rival factions of Los Zetas cartel called Northeastern Cartel or Cartel Del Noreste and Old School Zetas or Zetas Vieja Escuela.

MCALLEN, Texas -- The capture of three top Mexican drug cartel bosses on the U.S. side of the Texas border helps to illustrate the irony of how even narco's seek refuge from the violence in Mexico.

Federal agents raided Q.T Fashion and numerous other businesses in the downtown fashion district Wednesday, cracking down on a scheme that cartels are increasingly relying on to get their profits — from drug sales, kidnappings and other illegal activities — back to Mexico, authorities said.

Nine people were arrested in raids targeting 75 locations, and $90 million was seized — $70 million in cash. In one condo, agents found $35 million stuffed in banker boxes. At a mansion in Bel-Air, they discovered $10 million in duffel bags.

"Los Angeles has become the epicenter of narco-dollar money laundering with couriers regularly bringing duffel bags and suitcases full of cash to many businesses," said Robert E. Dugdale, the assistant U.S. attorney in charge of federal criminal prosecutions in Los Angeles.

Tijuana Breaks All-Time Homicide Record amid Cartel War

The cartel war raging Tijuana continues with 1,789 homicides registered as of September 19, now breaking the 2017 record of 1,781.

The record-breaking year persists despite Mexico City’s deployment of military assets to the region in February to quell cartel violence. The bloodshed is generally rated to turf wars involving Cártel Tijuana Nueva Generación (CTNG), aligned with El Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación, against the Sinaloa Cartel. In some areas, rival factions within the Sinaloa Cartel are fighting for control of the lucrative street-level markets and smuggling routes into the United States. Those involved in the killings are primarily low-level dealers, lookouts, customers, and enforcers. Many of the street-level dealers are targets of rip-crews looking for cash and drugs.

One of the factors blamed in Tijuana is that only 8% of homicide suspects are detained, according to the president of Fundación EduPaz, Francisco García Burgos. He said that the number of unsolved homicides, combined with the responsible parties still on the streets, created an environment where citizens are fearful of reporting crimes due to reprisals. Breitbart Texas previously reported on this problem when 132 of the first homicides registered only produced 11 suspects detained. The 11 were from only five registered homicides, according to local media.

Cartels fighting in the city do so with almost total impunity as demonstrated early Thursday morning when alleged gunmen opened fire from two vehicles against buildings housing the state attorney general’s homicide and forensics units. No injuries were reported, but the gunfire caused damage to windows, according to local media. Ministerial police were inside the facilities at the time of the drive-by shooting.

A recent photo captured by photojournalist Gustavo Suárez of Frontera has been used among Mexican social media accounts to demonstrate the indifference some citizens apparently feel due to the constant cartel bloodshed. The photograph was captured at a taco stand in colonia Murúa Martínez where a smiling family can be see dining in the foreground amid an active homicide scene.

MS-13 Illegal Alien Pleads Guilty to Quadruple Murder Using Machetes

(Screenshot: YouTube)
( -- Freiry Martinez, a.k.a. Discreto and Sovietico, an illegal alien from El Salvador and member of the notorious MS-13 gang, pleaded guilty on Sept. 21 to participating in the murder of four men in a park in Long Island, New York on April 11, 2017, reported the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York.
Martinez was 15 when the murders occurred. As explained by the U.S. Attorney's office, two female MS-13 associates lured four men to a community park in Central Islip because Martinez and other MS-13 members planned to kill the men, who apparently were members of a rival gang and had shown disrespect to MS-13.
The four murder victims were Justin Llivicura, Michael Lopez, Jorge Tigre and Jefferson Villalobos.
"Martinez and several MS-13 members and associates met in a wooded area behind the park [on April 11, 2017] where they distributed weapons, discussed the plan to kill the victims and then awaited their arrival," stated the U.S. Attorney's Office in a statement.  "Once the female MS-13 associates arrived at the park, they led the victims to a wooded area and sent the MS-13 members a text message describing their location.

"Pursuant to their previously devised plan, Martinez and the other MS-13 members and associates surrounded the victims and killed Llivicura, Lopez, Tigre and Villalobos using machetes, knives and wooden clubs," reads the statement.  "The fifth intended victim escaped.  After the attack, Martinez and his associates dragged the victims’ bodies to a more secluded spot and fled.  The victims’ bodies were discovered the following evening."
Martinez fled from New York after the murders, first traveling to Virginia and then to Maryland, where he was captured on Nov. 21, 2017. He was turned over to the FBI and they returned him to the Eastern District of New York.
“This guilty plea is a result of the dedicated work and collaboration of the Suffolk County Police Department, the Long Island Gang Task Force and the Eastern District,” stated SCPD Commissioner Hart in the statement.  “We applaud the effort of prosecutors to ensure that Martinez would be tried as an adult to face the stiffest penalties possible. The deaths of these four young men committed at the hands of MS-13 gang members is incomprehensible and we hope today’s plea will send a clear message to gang members that we will not waver or tire from our commitment to dismantle gangs in Suffolk County."
"It is our hope that holding these perpetrators accountable will bring some measure of comfort and healing to the victims’ friends and families," said Commissioner Hart.
“Prosecution by prosecution, defendant by defendant, we are dismantling the MS-13 through an effort that will not end until they are ended,” said U.S. Attorney Richard P. Donoghue.
“Due to the exceptional work by all of the law enforcement investigators involved and their agencies, Defendant Freiry Martinez will not be able to terrorize our communities and residents any longer,” stated NCPD Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder.  “We have four families that have lost loved ones to the hands of MS-13 in these brutal and senseless killings.  Rest assured, we will continue to engage this violence with our zero tolerance approach and will continue to remove these offenders from our streets.”

MS-13 is a notoriously violent gang that started in Los Angeles but quickly recruited numerous members from El Salvdor. Its presence is widespread throughout the United States and in El Salvador.  MS-13 is known for using extreme violence to carry out its criminal activities -- drug dealing, sex trafficking, extortion -- and using brutal measures to eliminate its rivals and perceived enemies.
The White House has described MS-13 members as "animals."
When Freiry Martinez is sentenced, he faces a maximum penalty of life in prison. "Upon completion of his sentence, he faces deportation from the United States," said the U.S. Attorney's Office
