ROBERT SPENCER - JIHADIST IN THE INVASION!

CARAVAN JIHAD?

Jihadis among the migrant caravan is not as ridiculous as CNN would have you believe.

CNN on Monday once again posed as the intrepid and impartial fact checker, correcting the falsehoods spread by our ridiculous and hateful President, with the headline: “Trump seizes on right-wing media reports to suggest migrant caravan has been infiltrated by ‘unknown Middle Easterners.’” And as usual, the President is in reality far closer to the mark than CNN ever is. CNN has once again proven itself to be, as Trump has so aptly and indelibly put it, very fake news.
CNN noted that “In a tweet, the President warned that ‘criminals and unknown Middle Easterners are mixed in’ the caravan of thousands of Central American migrants fleeing poverty and violence.” Note CNN’s thumb on the scale in its framing of the story: the hordes advancing toward the border are “Central American migrants fleeing poverty and violence,” not “A large cadre of military-age males being transported to the American border to flout immigration laws and create provocations designed to discredit Trump before the midterm elections.”
After that bit of legerdemain, CNN informs the Leftist marks who still take it seriously that Trump is, as expected, all wrong and going off half-cocked yet again: “The President did not support his claim with any evidence. Sarah Sanders, the White House press secretary, told reporters on Monday afternoon that Trump ‘absolutely’ had evidence to indicate there are Middle Easterners in the caravan. Sanders, however, did not provide specific information on the matter and it was still not clear what evidence Trump had to indicate the presence of such individuals in the caravan.”
The evidence is actually abundantly clear; CNN just doesn’t want you to know it exists. The Daily Caller reported Monday that Univision correspondent Francisco Santa Anna stated: “Yesterday when we were traveling through Guatemala, we noticed people from El Salvador and even people from Bangladesh. Can you imagine what they had to do to get here? They infiltrated themselves in this caravan and tried to cross with the crowd. That would have benefited them greatly.”
What’s more, Guatemalan President Jimmy Morales stated last Thursday that his security forces had caught “close to 100 people completely linked to terrorist issues, with ISIS and that not only have we arrested them within our territory, but they have been deported to their countries of origin.” Guatemala’s Secretary of Strategic Intelligence, Mario Duarte, confirmed that “the individuals intercepted, detained, prosecuted or returned to their country of origin, is close to 100.” He referred to “several citizens of Syrian origin who were detained with false documents were detained, for which they were prosecuted and subjected to criminal proceedings,” and then deported in 2016.
The establishment media has made a great deal of the fact that Morales did not say that Guatemalan authorities had caught 100 Islamic State jihadis among the throngs approaching the U.S. border now. However, this is a distinction without a difference. If Islamic State jihadis could enter Guatemala previously, they can do it again, and they may have joined this caravan.
Denis Omar Contreras, a leader of this latest march to the border, summarily dismissed this possibility: “There isn’t a single terrorist here.” Claiming that everyone on the way to the United States was from Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua, he added: “As far as I know there are no terrorists in these four countries, at least beyond the corrupt governments.”
As far as he knows. But how can Denis Omar Contreras be sure? Is there something that would make it impossible for jihadis to infiltrate this migrant group? We do know that jihadis have many times attempted to enter the United States by way of the Southern border. Here are just a few news stories from the last few years, related to such efforts:
There is also considerable Hizballah activity in Latin America – activity that analysts have been warning for yearsis a threat to the United States.
But CNN and Denis Omar Contreras would have you believe that jihadists could not, simply could not possibly, have infiltrated this latest migrant caravan. Donald Trump is just being racist again to say so.
If some of those on their way to the U.S. get into the country and commit an act of jihad violence, will CNN and Contreras and all the others who are sneering at Trump today apologize? Don’t bet on it. But the best-case scenario will be that no one from this caravan will get in at all, and CNN and the rest can go back to calling Trump “racist” for keeping them out.

So Venezuela was behind the great Honduras migrant caravan all along?

According to Vice President Mike Pence, Honduras's president, Juan Orlando Hernández, told him that the illegal migrant caravan heading from his country through Mexico on to the U.S. is the work of Chavista Venezuela, with that country's oil cash being employed to destabilize both countries.
Here's what Breitbart reported, citing an interview with the Washington Post's Bob Costa:
Vice President Mike Pence on Tuesday said Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández told him that the migrant caravan marching toward the U.S.-Mexico border is "financed by Venezuela." ...
The Vice President then revealed that Hernández told him that "leftist groups" from the Central American country organized the caravan, "financed by Venezuela" to "challenge our sovereignty, challenge our border."
That's quite an equation-changer, and it squares with what I argued yesterday, here and here:
Who is it?  Is it Soros, the hedge fund leftist billionaire of chaos who vowed to shell out $500 million for migrants a few years back?  Democrats, the same people who had tens of millions to pay for a fake dossier in a bid to win an election and who have lately been struggling to win the Latino vote?  Or is it, as I suspect, Chavista Venezuelan oil money, given the Chavistas' stated desire to flood America with indigent migrants (which has been around as a threat ever since Hugo Chávez taunted the U.S. over is border in the 2000s) as a means of spreading its revolution northward?  The Chavista ties of the caravan's front-group organizers, Pueblo Sin Fronteras, as well as its known Chavez-supporting Honduran ringleaders, are rather obvious.
The one clue we have starts with the two governments of Guatemala and Honduras, both of which have conservative, anti-Chavista governments.  They also have disgustingly rabid left-wing oppositions, the kind of people who openly admire Hugo Chávez and his utterly failed socialist revolution.  They like Cuba's government, too.  They are rabid left-wingers, and they seek above all to destabilize and topple the countries of their origin in order to see those countries join their heroes.  They can't get elected anymore, so this is what they do.
Remember Honduras in 2009?  The good Honduran people and their legislators rose up to throw out a Chavista pawn, Manuel Zelaya, who wanted to make himself dictator for life, as Chávez did.  That was the guy who got thrown out of the presidency by troops in his pajamas (actually, he was naked when he was rousted for bed, but the press liked the pajama story) and wore a cowboy hat.  He then got the whole hemisphere, via the Organization of American States, to condemn the Hondurans and sanction their country (making Chávez very empowered), just because they refused to be ruled forever by a communist.  "Better a year of sanctions than 20 years of Chávez," as one of the freedom-loving Hondurans said.  The Hondurans, led by the honorable Roberto Micheletti, toughed it out, suffering Obama administration sanctions so their country could be free.
There are still all kinds of problems left in Honduras, but the big one is the presence of radical Chavista leftists and their liberation theology church- and NGO-connected sidekicks who are still stirring the pot, offering free stuff as a substitute for an economy and making things ungovernable.  Their ultimate aim, now that their name stinks with voters after the 2009 fiasco, is to destabilize what little is left of battered Honduras in the name of la revolución by force or chaos or whateversince they can't get elected.  What better way than to launch an unpopular migrant march to put pressure from President Trump on their governments as well as teach gringo a lesson that his borders mean nothing?
We do have a concrete clue in how the caravan was set up: with an offer of free stuff on the television and by, sure enough, one Bartolo Fuentes, an out-of-work politician and "journalist" known for being a left-wing supporter of Zelaya and Chávez.
According to the Wall Street Journal's editorial page:
A Mariel replay now seems to be coming from Honduras.  Though the details are murky, we do know that former Honduran congressman Bartolo Fuentes of the left-wing Libre Party has admitted to organizing this caravan.
Libre is the party of former president Manuel Zelaya, an ally of Venezuela and Cuba who in 2009 tried to override the Honduran constitution to remain in office despite a term limit.  The Honduran congress, his own party, the Supreme Court, the national ombudsman and the Catholic Church opposed his power grab.  He was removed by the military and never returned to power despite the efforts of the Obama Administration.
But Mr. Zelaya remains active in politics.  While center-right President Juan Orlando Hernández has encouraged Hondurans on the journey to return home and even has offered them assistance, Mr. Zelaya is egging them on.
In a press release last week, he accused Mr. Hernández of a "submissive and lackey attitude" toward "the arrogant position of the empire" and criticized Mr. Hernández's efforts to "deepen failed economic policies" like privatization.  The opposition is now calling for street protests with a threat that if Mr. Hernández does not step down, the migration wave will continue.
Under pressure, he now denies that he offered any free stuff and says he has no Venezuela ties, but that seems to be belied by the television reporting.  Note also his marked use of Chavista buzzwords in his speech – calling the U.S. "the empire."  Only Hugo Chávez used to do that.
The president of Honduras knew what the game was, which is why he called up the president of Guatemala and asked him to remove the guy.  The president of Guatemala, Jimmy Morales, believed him; busted the guy; and shipped him back home to Honduras, where he promptly initiated U.S. flag-burning at the U.S. embassy.
The claims of Fuentes that he offered no support to would-be migrants are rather belied by the fact that migrants were first filmed taking paychecks, as seen on Twitter.  Then there's the fact that trucks are taking the migrants northward, and trucks are expensive.  Someone is paying for that.  What's more, migrants are abandoning expensive baby strollers to get on those trucks.  Very poor people tend to be reluctant to abandon expensive things without compensation.
Meanwhile, let's go take a look at the U.S. leftists, Pueblo Sin Fronteras, who are on this side of things, and who have a base in Tijuana, on the border with San Diego, which is where the migrants are now heading, despite the fact that it greatly increases the length of their journey.  The base is there, so that's where they are going.  PSF has done previous stunts of this kind, notably last April, and its website is loaded with Chavista propaganda, as I noted earlier.  It's certainly tied to this effort.
Chávez himself, when he was alive, had a thing for using migrants to destabilize the U.S. and once said he wanted to head for the U.S. border to encourage just that.  Now, it appears, la lucha se continúa with his remaining minions, and their animating motives are to destabilize Central American countries, not just the U.S.  Venezuela is in bad shape, and it seems likely that those in power there would not have that much money to throw around at international adventurism, but they've also got quite a bit of malice toward the U.S. for its sanctions on Venezuela's top officials and a desperate desire to seem relevant, what with all the news about the country's own migrant outpouring.  Could the Venezuelan honchos cook something like this up and finance it?  Motive-wise, they could; infrastructure-wise, with all the lefty activists out there, they could; and money-wise, it's not out of the question.  Let's just remind ourselves that the presidents of Honduras and Guatemala have reason to believe it.

DHS says number of attempted illegal border crossings spiked this year

Are there more people trying to cross the border or are efforts to stop them improving? The answer is probably a little of both.
Whatever the reason, the Department of Homeland Security is reporting a significant increase in the number of people trying to cross our borders illegally.
More than a half million people tried to cross the southwest border without authorization in fiscal year 2018, an increase of about 100,000 over the previous year’s total that was spurred by a surge in family migration from Central America.
A total of 521,090 people were either arrested or deemed inadmissible at U.S. ports of entry along the border, according to Customs and Border Protection figures released Tuesday. That compares to 415,517 in fiscal year 2017, a year that saw historically low levels of illegal immigration in the months after President Donald Trump assumed office.
Since then, however, illegal immigration has risen to levels seen during the second Obama administration. The rebound is due in large part to a stunning spike in attempted crossings by so-called “family units,” nearly all of which are from three Central American countries — Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
Another factor that may be at work in the increased attempts to cross the border is the red-hot American economy. Job growth such as we are experiencing must seem like an invitation to the poor in Central America and Mexico.
The Trump administration has attributed the surge to loopholes in immigration law that prevent the government from holding adults and their children in detention together while their cases are heard in immigration court. Administration officials say the restrictions encourage parents to bring children across the border because they know they will be released for the duration of their immigration proceedings, which can take years.
The reason these "family units" are on their way is because for 8 years, the Obama administration encouraged their migration by not doing anything to hold them and send them back. To their minds, it's better to be an illegal alien in America than live in a Central American hellhole.
No one denies that there is violence and grinding poverty in these countries. There is war, poverty, and pestilence in dozens and dozens of countries around the world. Does their proximity to the US grant them special privileges with regards to refugee status or asylum? If so, why? What makes a Central American refugee any worthier of our benificence than a refugee from Africa, or Venezuela, or somewhere else?
We are not the world's policeman and when we try to be, we invariably end up in trouble. But neither are we the world's nanny or Daddy Warbucks. We should take in refugees, but not all of them and not without some way to vet them to make sure we know exactly who wants to come here. This would seem to be the minimum requirement for us to exercise our sovereign right to control our borders.

Would you use the military on the border?

If an enemy were plotting to destroy the most powerful country in the world, what strategy would he use?  Knowing he can't beat the country economically or militarily; what other options are open to him?
Here's an idea!  Suppose the enemy were able to mobilize millions of people from the most poverty-stricken countries in the world and have them invade our country, using children as their shields.  Suppose further that those massive numbers of people just started walking toward our borders in open defiance of our immigration policies.  What would you, running the United States, be willing to do to stop the invasion?  President Trump says, if necessary, he'll use the U.S. military to shut down the border.
That will work if the military is prepared to take confrontational action against those who defy our laws and try to force their way in.  If the invaders employ their usual tactic, children will be in the front lines of the invasion.  Will the American public be willing to accept video clips of our soldiers pushing children backward to keep them from entering our land?  If the invasion becomes violent, will we see children being trampled and killed as layers of humanity move forward over the bodies of the fallen?  What our enemies are counting on is that Americans will be appalled by such scenes and call Trump a monster.
Let's look at what would happen if these invasions aren't stopped.  If a few thousand people were able to walk from Central America through Mexico and into our country, what's to stop millions more from doing the same?  China, India, Pakistan, and other countries with large populations could find ways to fracture our borders and flood our country with wall-to-wall humanity.  The poverty rates in those countries, when compared to ours, make us the most prosperous and envied country in the history of the world.  But we can't continue being prosperous if massive numbers of low-skilled and under-educated people are dumped into a social welfare system that is already bursting at the seams.
From the perspective of the invaders, the United States is the answer to their plight. Nevertheless, their plight, if transferred to our country in the form of millions of needy people, will ultimately destroy our economy and turn us into a third-world country.  Since they're fleeing countries that have lost their ability to provide jobs, security, and safety for their people, they have nothing to lose and everything to gain by coming here.  They're not concerned about our future; it's all about theirs.  That's why we have to come to grips with the most serious threat to our survival.  We must ask ourselves if we have the will to use force against an army of invaders who will play upon the sympathy of teary-eyed Americans, hoping it will erupt into a plethora of bleeding-heart opposition to Trump.
Therefore, we must arrive at a time in which we, as Americans, decide that if we don't protect our borders, we're no longer a sovereign nation.  Moreover, we must decide if we're going to have the backbone to stop the invading hordes from capsizing this ship of state.  We must not fall victim to the false accusation that we're a greedy country unwilling to share our bounty with the "less fortunate" of the world.  On the contrary, our generosity has propped up nations, fed tens of millions, and provided medical care to the most disadvantaged on the planet.  We have been able to do that only because of our prosperity, which, if we don't take steps to preserve it, will go the way of Venezuela.
All of the foregoing leads me to ask the question: what are we willing to do to stop the invasion?

Here they come! Another illegal immigrant caravan forming in El Salvador

NBC News is reporting that another illegal alien caravan is forming in El Salvador and will begin its trek to the U.S. border soon.
As the Trump administration makes preparations to combat the 6,500-member Honduran migrant caravan making its way toward the United States, the Department of Homeland Security is also tracking a new caravan taking shape – this time from El Salvador, according to two U.S. officials, a local source on the ground in Central America and an internal U.S. government report obtained by NBC News.
The El Salvadoran caravan is still forming, but its members have plans to begin their journey northward toward the U.S. next week, according to the sources.
The internal report indicates that DHS is tracking the communications of caravan members, including a 230-member WhatsApp group that intends to leave on Oct. 31.
With the DHS "tracking the communications of caravan members," you have to believe it has a pretty good idea of who is organizing these invasions.
Some international do-gooder organizations are saying it's not they.
It's unclear exactly how the caravan started in Honduras, but it appears to have no formal leadership.
"No one is capable of organizing this many people.  Nobody," said Irineo Mujica of Pueblo Sin Fronteras (People Without Borders), which is providing support to the group.  "It's an exodus."
Many Mexicans have turned out to help the migrants, handing out food and sometimes clothes in each town where they stop.
That woman is either naïve or disingenuous.  There are many groups capable of organizing such a caravan.  All it takes is a little money and a few people who know what they're doing.
I doubt that the Democrats are behind the caravans for the simple reason that the invasions are playing right into the hands of Trump and the Republicans.  If the GOP keeps the House after the midterms, these caravans will be a big reason why.  Democrats know this and probably wish the caravans would turn back.
As for Soros money being behind the "exodus," that may be closer to the truth.  Many of these international aid organizations are at least partially funded by Soros's Open Society Foundation.  It's hard to make a case that Soros himself has ordered up the caravans, but the aid organizations that are helping the caravans have the same "one world, no borders" ideas that he does.
At this point, it hardly matters who is organizing these mass caravans, only that they are coming.
The caravan's movement is likely to trigger fierce backlash from President Donald Trump who has stoked fear about El Salvadoran migrants, particularly because nationals from the Central American country began the dangerous MS-13 gang.
A word about "stoking fear," which is liberal code for "racism": Presenting facts to the American people about the ultra-violent  MS-13 gang is not "stoking fear."  But liberals believe that even mentioning MS-13 in any context is racist and that Trump is doing it to terrify people into voting Republican.
What terrifies people are Democrats who surreptitiously promote open borders policies, which the caravans are exposing, despite the Dems' best efforts to hide their pro-illegal alien agenda.
It is unclear what has stoked this particular caravan to begin forming, but immigration advocates and experts believe its members may have been inspired by the Honduran caravan and hope to find safety in numbers.
Immigrants from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, many of whom travel as families and claim asylum, have presented a challenge for border agents as their numbers have surged under the past two presidential administrations.
The Trump administration would like to see Central Americans be stripped of the right to remain in the United States while they pursue asylum claims, a senior administration official told reporters on a call on Tuesday.  Under current law, only nationals from contiguous countries, such as Mexico, are sent back across the border without appearing before an immigration judge.
Are we a sovereign nation or not?  Do we have the absolute right to determine who comes into the U.S. and who doesn't?  Every other nation on Planet Earth is granted the right to deny entry to illegal aliens – except the U.S.  It is a mystery why enforcing our immigration and border laws would be controversial at all.

THE STAGGERING COST OF THE WELFARE STATE MEXICO AND THE LA RAZA SUPREMACY DEMOCRAT PARTY HAVE BUILT BORDER to OPEN BORDER’
According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform’s 2017 report, illegal immigrants, and their children, cost American taxpayers a net $116 billion annually -- roughly $7,000 per alien annually. While high, this number is not an outlier: a recent study by the Heritage Foundation found that low-skilled immigrants (including those here illegally) cost Americans trillions over the course of their lifetimes, and a study from the National Economics Editorial found that illegal immigration costs America over $140 billion annually. As it stands, illegal immigrants are a massive burden on American taxpayers.

100 ISIS Terrorists Caught in Guatemala as Central American Caravan Heads to U.S.
OCTOBER 18, 2018
In a startling revelation, Guatemala’s president announced in the country’s largest newspaper that nearly 100 ISIS terrorists have been apprehended in the impoverished Central American nation. Why should Americans care about this? A caravan of Central American migrants is making its way north. Let’s not forget that Guatemala is one of the countries that bombarded the U.S. with illegal immigrant minors under Barack Obama’s open border free-for-all. They came in droves from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala through the Mexican border and for years Uncle Sam rolled out the welcome mat offering housing, food, medical treatment and a free education
MEXICO DECLARES WAR ON THE UNITED STATES

WHICH SIDE OF THE OPEN BORDER DO YOU THINK THE DEMOCRAT PARTY WILL SIDE WITH?
“The radicals seek nothing less than secession from the United States whether to form their own sovereign state or to reunify with Mexico. Those who desire reunification with Mexico are irredentists who seek to reclaim Mexico's "lost" territories in the American Southwest.” Maria Hsia Chang Professor of Political Science, University of Nevada Reno
"Mexican president candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador called for mass immigration to the United States, declaring it a "human right". We will defend all the (Mexican) invaders in the American," Obrador said, adding that immigrants "must leave their towns and find a life, job, welfare, and free medical in the United States."

*

"Fox’s Tucker Carlson noted Thursday that Obrador has previously proposed ranting AMNESTY TO MEXICAN DRUG CARTELS. “America is now Mexico’s social safety net, and that’s a very good deal for the Mexican ruling class,” Carlson added."

COST to AMERICANS of the LA RAZA MEXICAN OCCUPATION in CALIFORNIA ALONE: $2,370 per legal.
All that “cheap” labor is staggeringly expensive!
"Most Californians, who have seen their taxes increase while public services deteriorate, already know the impact that mass illegal immigration is having on their communities, but even they may be shocked when they learn just how much of a drain illegal immigration has become." FAIR President Dan Stein.

Californians bear an enormous fiscal burden as a result of an illegal alien population estimated at almost 3 million residents. The annual expenditure of state and local tax dollars on services for that population is $25.3 billion. That total amounts to a yearly burden of about $2,370 for a household headed by a U.S. citizen.
Mexican News Outlet: Officials Say 14,000 Honduran Migrants Heading to U.S.

Honduran migrants hoping to reach the U.S. sleep in a public plaza in the southern Mexico city of Tapachula, Monday, Oct. 22, 2018. Keeping together for strength and safety in numbers, some huddled under a metal roof in the city's main plaza Sunday night. Others lay exhausted in the open …

The Mexican El Universal news outlet is reporting that more than 14,000 Hondurans — not counting people from other countries who are marching toward the United States — are leaving that Central American nation to seek asylum here.

The news outlet reported that “municipal authorities,” the Catholic Diocese in the Mexican city of Tapachula, and the Mexican National Migration Institute (INM) provided the 14,000 figure.
“The first group walked for 37 kilometers from Ciudad Hidalgo to Tapachula on Sunday afternoon and was comprised by 5,333 children, women and men,” El Universal reported.
Later that afternoon 3,000 more men, women and children started “to walk under the rain.”
“Meanwhile, there are 3,000 children, women and men in the Ciudad Hidalgo International bridge, shared by Mexico and Guatemala, who are looking to enter Mexico with documents provided by the INM,” the news outlet reported.
Showers and toilets were also provided, according to the report.
The report also said the local officials were providing shelter, food, water, and even medical treatment as the Mexican Health Ministry is “vaccinating the children and carrying out blood tests.”
The report concluded with Guatemalan officials saying that they expect 3,000 to 4,000 more people to begin the trip soon to the Mexican border with the United States.
As Breitbart News reported, President Donald Trump has condemned what most sources cite as more than 7,000 migrants forcing their way through Mexico to their final destination, the United States.
Thus far, Mexican authorities have not been able to stop the massive group of people.

Sadly, it looks like Mexico’s Police and Military are unable to stop the Caravan heading to the Southern Border of the United States. Criminals and unknown Middle Easterners are mixed in. I have alerted Border Patrol and Military that this is a National Emergy. Must change laws!

“That is an assault on our country,” Trump said during a rally with supporters in Houston, Texas on Monday.
Trump said he suspects the so-called “caravan” includes “very bad people.”
“We need a wall built fast, we have to protect our borders,” Trump said.
