Murderer Deported to Mexico Last Month Recaptured in Texas
Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended a previously deported murderer who illegally re-entered the U.S. about one month following his deportation.
Agents assigned to the Laredo Sector conducted an extensive search for a suspected illegal alien who absconded from arrest on November 10. Early Sunday morning, agents found the suspect near the Interstate 35 mile marker 31 location and took him into custody. Information obtained by Breitbart News from Laredo Sector Border Patrol officials revealed that the agents determined the suspect to be a Mexican national with no legal basis to be in the U.S.
The agents transported the migrant to the station for processing and a biometric background investigation. A check of the Mexican man’s records in the U.S. revealed a June 2009 conviction in Austin, Texas, for murder.
A court in Travis County convicted the man on the murder charge and sentenced him to 11 years in a Texas prison. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers deported the man back to his home country of Mexico on October 5, 2018. Five days later, Border Patrol agents found him back in Texas.
“This arrest serves to remind us of the unknown factors our agents face on a daily basis. Some illegal aliens are dangerous criminals,” Laredo Sector Chief Patrol Agent Felix Chavez said in a written statement obtained by Breitbart News.
Border Patrol agents frequently find previously deported illegal aliens who re-enter the U.S. following their removal for violent crimes and sexual offenses. Breitbart News has reported extensively on the recapture of previously deported criminal aliens and previously deported sex offenders.
Just last week, Border Patrol agents stopped three violent criminals from successfully making their way back into the U.S. interior, Breitbart News reported. All three of the apprehended migrants had convictions for sexual crimes including two for sexual offenses involving minors.

Border Patrol agents assigned to an immigration checkpoint in South Texas apprehended 81 migrants being smuggled in a refrigerated tractor-trailer. Elsewhere in the sector, Zapata Station agents disrupted another smuggling attempt and apprehended six foreign nationals.
Laredo Sector agents assigned to the Interstate 35 immigration checkpoint on November 9, located between Laredo and San Antonio, observed a red tractor pulling a white refrigerated trailer approaching for inspection. During the initial interview with the driver, the agents learned that the license plate had a stolen license plate, according to Laredo Sector Border Patrol officials.
The agents referred the driver to a secondary inspection station. During a walk around the trailer, a K-9 agent alerted to the possible presence of drugs or human cargo. Agents also noted the locked trailer displayed a fictitious seal, officials stated.
The agents unlocked the trailer and discovered 81 migrants who had been locked inside the trailer by their smugglers. The migrants would have no means of escape in the event of an accident or abandonment.
Border Patrol officials reported that the 67 males, 13 adult females, and one juvenile female came to the U.S. from Brazil, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua. The migrants were all illegally in the U.S.
The agents arrested the driver, a U.S. citizen, on charges related to human smuggling and seized the tractor-trailer. The driver could also face charges related to the stolen license plate and the fictitious seal on the trailer.
Agents transported the 81 to the station where they will undergo a biometric background investigation before being processed according to Laredo Sector guidelines.
That same day, agents assigned to the Zapata Station received a tip about a driver of a green pickup truck transporting a group of suspected illegal immigrants from a ranch located near the town of Ramireño, Texas. The agents came upon the vehicle as it approached the Zapata city limits and attempted to stop the truck. The driver attempted to elude the agents and crashed through the fence of a nearby ranch. This is a common tactic used by human smugglers as they bail out and attempt to hide in the brush.
The agents conducted a search of the area and found six migrants. During an immigration interview, the agents determined all six to be illegally present in the U.S. They came to the U.S. from Mexico (2) and Guatemala (4). The agents transported the six to the Zapata Station for processing on immigration violations and seized the pickup truck.
The driver managed to evade the agents and remains at large.

A Mexican illegal alien allegedly raped a girl in Kansas in September after being deported ten times in the past six years alone, according to reports.
Group of 93 Migrants Surrender After Illegally Crossing Border into Texas
Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector apprehended a group of more than 90 migrants who surrendered after illegally crossing into Texas.
Rio Grande Valley Sector agents assigned to the Weslaco Station came upon a group of 93 illegal immigrants on November 9 who crossed the border from Mexico. The migrant group consisted of family units and unaccompanied minors, according to Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol officials.
Border Patrol officials did not disclose the origin of the migrants. The current trend in this region of the border would indicate they are likely Central American. Officials said they transported the migrants to the Weslaco Station for processing under Rio Grande Valley Sector guidelines.
The apprehension of these migrants came on the same day that President Donald Trump signed a proclamation aimed at blocking large numbers from illegally crossing the border to claim asylum. Breitbart News’ Neil Munro reported that the new policy proclamation states:
The entry of any alien into the United States across the international boundary between the United States and Mexico is hereby suspended and limited … this proclamation shall not apply to any alien who enters the United States at a port of entry and properly presents for inspection, or to any lawful permanent resident of the United States.
The proclamation came in response to the massive number of migrants who are illegally crossing the border from Mexico into the U.S., in addition to and the approaching migrant caravans.
The migrants who are caught illegally entering the U.S. will only be allowed to file for a “limited amnesty,” Munro reported. The limited amnesty is being called a “withholding of removal.” The new process does not provide a pathway to a green card. It also raises the bar for asylum requests from “credible fear” to “reasonable fear” of persecution.
In October alone, Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 50,000 migrants who illegally crossed the border between ports of entry. Of those, 23,121 were labeled as Family Unit Aliens while an additional 4,991 were classified as Unaccompanied Alien Children.
Of the 50,975 migrants apprehended along the nine sectors that make up the southwest border with Mexico, 20,754 entered through the Rio Grande Valley Sector. That amounts to an average of nearly 670 per day in this single sector.
