GLOBALIST NANCY PELOSI - "We're giving nothing for the wall! We will not stop Mexico's drug cartels or the floods of anchor baby breeders!"

"Schumer and Pelosi have for years been on board with every silly

attempt to restructure, to transform, American society.  They both

jumped on the Obama bandwagon the moment he was

elected.  Along with Obama, they are responsible for incalculable

damage done to this country over the eight years of that

administration." PATRICIA McCARTHY

Pelosi: We’re Giving ‘Nothing for the Wall’

NEW: "We can go through the back and forth. No. How many more times can we say no? Nothing for the wall," Rep. Pelosi tells @SavannahGuthrie amid the government shutdown, as Democrats prepare to retake control of the House on Thursday.

During a portion of an interview with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie released on Wednesday, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) vowed there will be no money given to fund President Trump’s border wall.
Guthrie asked Pelosi if she is willing to give the president money for the wall. Pelosi answered, “No.”
She added, “We’re talking about border security.”
Pelosi further stated, “No. How many more times can we say no? Nothing for the wall.”

Democrats: A plague on the nation

How as Americans do we explain the intransigence of the left when it comes to national security?  'Tis a mystery.  These people, these Democrats in Congress, are among the most privileged persons on the planet.  They have enjoyed, more than most, the blessings bequeathed by the Founders, the authors of the Constitution.  Yet they are determined, like Obama, to transform us into something this nation was never meant to be: a land without borders.  While all of them are on record supporting a border wall in the past, now that Donald Trump is president, they all oppose it with every fiber of their being.  They know that it will work, and they cannot abide Trump having a win.  These people – Schumer, Pelosi, GutiĆ©rrez, etc. – are truly venal.  Governor Brown has effectively destroyed California, now benighted by rampant homelessness and the crime that accompanies a population of illiterate, drug-addicted, gang-affiliated, criminally inclined persons adrift on our streets.  And now another young officer has been killed by an illegal alien thanks to the left's obsession with protecting the throngs of migrants crossing the border into the U.S.
It should be obvious to every American by now that our progressive left does not have the best interest of Americans at heart.  Quite the opposite.  They loathe those of us who put Trump in the White House and are determined to punish us.  They intend to raise our taxes to pay for the $100B illegal aliens cost us every year.  They need open borders to import future voters; millions of illegals voted in the 2018 election thanks to motor voter bills and states' refusal to require voter ID.  The Democrats know they cannot win without cheating.  They cheated in 2016 and are still stunned that their carefully calculated strategy did not work – thus, the cover-up, AKA the Mueller investigation, of their many crimes committed over the Obama years, many at the direction of Hillary Clinton with Obama's knowledge and approval.  Our once most revered institutions, the DOJ, the FBI, and the CIA, have been thoroughly corrupted.  Mueller, a willing participant in that corruption, is up to his eyeballs in the cover-up.
Will any of these people at the DOJ, the FBI, and the CIA, ever be held accountable?  To date, they have not been.  The power they have within the Deep State is beyond formidable; it is seemingly absolute.
It appears that America has become a sort of medieval oligarchy.  Trump, as the outsider he is, is a grave threat to all of those who believed they were in control in perpetuity.  They are ready and willing to do anything, no matter how illegal or immoral, to depose him, to expel him from office.
The Democrats in office today, and those about to take the majority in the House, are anti-Americans.  Of that you can be sure.  They care about keeping our borders open to all comers more than they care about keeping Americans safe.  They all supported a border wall when Clinton and Obama were in office.  Now they hate the president more than they love the country.  Of this there can be no doubt.
The Democrats hate Trump so much that they want the economy to crash.  They are hoping for recession.  Is the Fed on board with the left?  It seems so since, that institution's raising the interest rate yet again is counterproductive to our thriving economy.  It is the Fed that whipsaws Wall Street, is it not?
It appears that the entirety of the left – the media, the Deep State, Wall Street, and the Democratic Party – is working in concert to bring Trump down, no matter the consequences to the country.  Meanwhile, the Republicans in the Congress, most but certainly not all, are as bendy as can be.  With notable exceptions – Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows, Tom Cotton, Matt Gaetz, Louie Gohmert – they hate Trump, too.  He has ruffled their feathers, their comfortable position as go-alongs-to-get-alongs in D.C.  They have no real principles, no gumption, no fuel for a fight.  They are cowards all, pajama boys.  Paul Ryan is their poster boy.
The young policeman who died in California Christmas night will and should be a wake-up call for the Democrats.  They are 100% responsible for the presence of such criminals, protected by ridiculous sanctuary policies in our cities.  The media and the Democrats are in an uproar over the two migrant children who died at the hands of irresponsible parents who used them as a ticket to ride, yet they have nothing to say about the murder of the young policeman in Newman, Calif.  He is, to them, a casualty of politics, of their grand design to obliterate conservatives from the public realm forever.  They do not care about him, his widow, or his infant son.  They were happy to contribute to the odious Christine Blasey Ford's GoFundMe page, but not one of them will contribute to a GoFundMe page for Ronil Singh's family.  He is law enforcement, so they feel nothing.
The Democratic Party of today is an abomination.  The assault on our constitutional republic began with Woodrow Wilson, and their long-range plan to overhaul what the Founders built is still operational.  The left has nothing but contempt for ordinary Americans, especially those who voted for Trump.
Leftists are dangerous when challenged, like a pack of jackals dismembering its prey.  They need to be defeated, indicted, arrested, tried, convicted, and imprisoned.  They are a scourge on the nation as founded.  They do not love this country; they seek to destroy all that was and is good within it.

The Schumer & Pelosi show

Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, the twin nutters of Congress, were certain they could beat Trump at his own game, but have made fools of themselves, as usual.  The stand-off is not over but with each passing day, the Democrats reveal more of their anti-American, pro-illegal immigration agenda.  Conservatives have been sounding the alarm for years: Democrats do not care about American citizens!
We are an annoying inconvenience, especially those of us who do not buy what they are selling.  We vote against them, which makes them angry.  They lash out at us, call us names, impugn our intelligence with fervor.  All of the late-night comics, the Bill Mahers of the comedy branch of the entertainment industry, are especially venal.  Jimmy Kimmel has decried those who have contributed to the GoFundMe page to fund the border wall as meth addicts.  It was begun by a Vet, Brad Kolfage, who lost three limbs and it's raised nearly $15m.
It appears that Democratic members of Congress are as snowflakey as millennials on our university campuses. They assume that anyone who opposes their ridiculous socialist, genderless, climate-alarmist, virtue-signaling directives is a Neanderthal, unfit to have an opinion.  It is then thoroughly acceptable to malign such people, those of us who oppose every aspect of their anti-America-as-founded agenda, in any and every  disgusting manner they can devise.
The left is all about identity politics.  They assign all of us to a group -- racial, class, and/or all of their fabricated gender categories.  The right is all about individuals, their character, their talent, their contributions to society.  We do not care about skin color, economic class or sexual orientation.  We do care about good vs. evil, right vs. wrong.  This makes us quite villainous in the eyes of the left for whom everything is relative. For example, we do not think poverty causes crime, unlearned values of Western Civilization do.  Try to steal an election? It is moral if it takes out an opponent.  We are, it appears, the left vs. the right, very different on a neurological level.
Schumer and Pelosi have armed guards whenever they are amongst the public.  But they are both fervent in their quest to deny us the right to bear arms and to prevent a wall on the southern border to protect us from the flood of lethal drugs that flow into the US.  They are impervious to the crimes of the barbaric gangs like MS13, no matter how many innocent Americans they kill.  They do not give a thought to the many illegals from terrorist nations that also seek to enter the country on a daily basis.  Schumer, Pelosi and their willing subjects in Congress ignore completely the horrific hazards that cross the border every day.  They want cheap labor, no matter how many Americans are left jobless, and they want, more than anything, a dependent underclass whom they mean to give the right to vote.  They already vote anyway, thanks to the Left's rejection of Common-sense voter ID.
If there were a television program based on Schumer and Pelosi, it would have to be a comedy; the two of them are so inept, so childish. They would be  Dumb and Dumber redux.  Each of them seems to believe they run the country and can dictate to the president how he will govern. They demand that Trump abandon the wall.  They have no intention of compromising; they only want to deny Trump and his supporters what they want -- border security that works.  So enraged, so benighted, by Trump's presidency, they would rather see us overrun by migrants from third-world nations, like those who have destroyed the UK, Germany, Sweden, and the rest of Europe, than protect America as a sovereign nation.
The "government shutdown" is just a ploy, many times overused by now, relatively meaningless to the lives of most Americans. The Schumer & Pelosi show will do everything they can to hype it as a disaster, but we all know it is nothing of the kind.  Trump must hold out for funding of the wall.
While there have been some bad actors in our government in the past, Schumer and Pelosi are the worst of the worst.  They are equally arrogant, each thoroughly ignorant of reality beyond the bubble of wealth and privilege they inhabit.  They both believe themselves to be smarter than the rest of us, when in fact they are both really dim bulbs, long past their sell-by date.  Yes, Pelosi is good at raising money; how and why is a mystery.  That each of them is repeatedly re-elected does not say much for their constituents' familiarity with the Constitution, the law, American history or the facts in their own communities.
San Francisco, Pelosi's district is now a hell-hole but for her walled compound.  New York too, like California, is a state that residents are fleeing as fast as they can.  Both states have been destroyed by moonbatty leftists; high taxes, dumbing down of education for political purposes, and the sacrifice of common sense to global warming alarmists.  Schumer and Pelosi have for years been on board with every silly attempt to restructure, to transform, American society.  They both jumped on the Obama bandwagon the moment he was elected.  Along with Obama, they are responsible for incalculable damage done to this country over the eight years of that administration.  While their constant appearances on television are so often humorous (Pelosi's silly, practiced hand gestures and Schumer's relentless badgering of Trump),  they are not one bit funny.  They are just loathsome.

Why Is a Physical Border Barrier Important?

rint
By Dan Cadman on December 27, 2018
So here we are, during Christmas week, and things are a mess, with the 25 percent of the federal government that is now unfunded shut down because no agreement could be reached in Congress.
Ironically, the Department of Homeland Security is among those affected, when the brouhaha is about homeland and border security to begin with; specifically funding for a border wall...or steel slatted fence...or something. ("A rose by any other name...")
Right before the shutdown, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, pushing back against the bid to add border funds, railed that what the nation needs is "...smart border enforcement, not a medieval wall."
"Medieval wall"?
Any number of members of Congress, including Democrats, have backed alternative solutions to a wall in multiple pieces of legislation that went nowhere — usually because these border security strategies were coupled with an up-front amnesty, while the actual funding for enforcement was always somewhere up the road. Such strategies involve lots of whiz-bang technology: drones, additional sensors, FLIRS, towers, etc. etc. This is usually referred to as the "layered defense" strategy of border security. In fact, in my criticism of such bills, I've referred to them as Christmas lists of toys because they are so heavy on technical equipment.
The flaw with such a strategy isn't just whether Congress would really ever get around to appropriating money for it. Here's the problem, as I see it:
First, when you are relying on technology to detect intrusions, you still need human beings, thousands of them, to actually take border crossers into custody. I have yet to see cyborgs or androids capable of making arrests. Believe me, the cost of training and putting even a single agent into uniform with badge and gun, then paying for 20-25 years' worth of pay increases and then a federal annuity after that, is an expensive proposition.
Second, if you are arresting aliens (which will by definition happen on our side of the line since I don't know of any morally acceptable technology to keep them across the border — you know, short of horrifying things such as electrified or mined areas, etc.) then the question arises of how much detention space you will apportion to the arrested aliens, and what your tolerance is for holding minors and partial family units in custody, possibly for extended periods. Yet if you let them go, as happens now routinely during the "catch-and-release" follies the government is forced into, then all of the billions spent on technology and agents was pretty much for nothing.
Third and finally, sometimes I laugh about this insistence on the importance of sophisticated intrusion technology when we've reached such a state that many aliens cross the frontier and immediately seek out Border Patrol agents to turn themselves in, knowing that our rules have become so dysfunctional that it's to their advantage to game the system. They understand our immigration system's ineffectiveness at expulsion and removal in ways that many ordinary Americans do not.
That's what a border barrier does: it blocks people out. Not all people all the time. But many. Tens of thousands. And if a wall (or steel slatted fence or whatever becomes the nom du jour) does that, many of the other dysfunctions — and, no less importantly, taxpayer costs, and amount and adequacy of detention space, and strains on social service systems — begin to ameliorate, buying the system time to heal itself and, maybe some day, we will have a Congress willing to enact meaningful legal reforms to the way our immigration laws are structured.
I'm not such a troglodyte that I don't believe at all in the need for good, proven technology. I do. Likewise with an adequate corps of both border and interior immigration agents. But if the barrier does its job, then theirs will become ever so much easier. That's why, whether or not Mexico pays for the wall, and despite all the demagoguery on all sides of the debate, the time has come to put it up.

AT THAT WAGE, WITH SIX DEPENDENTS, HE PAYS NO INCOME TAX, YET AT THE END OF THE YEAR, IF HE FILES AN INCOME TAX RETURN, WITH HIS FAKE SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, HE GETS AN "EARNED INCOME CREDIT" OF UP TO $3,200..... FREE.

HE QUALIFIES FOR SECTION 8 HOUSING AND SUBSIDIZED RENT.

HE QUALIFIES FOR FOOD STAMPS.

HE QUALIFIES FOR FREE (NO DEDUCTIBLE, NO CO-PAY) HEALTH CARE.

HIS CHILDREN GET FREE BREAKFASTS AND LUNCHES AT SCHOOL.

HE REQUIRES BILINGUAL TEACHERS AND BOOKS.

HE QUALIFIES FOR RELIEF FROM HIGH ENERGY BILLS.

IF THEY ARE OR BECOME, AGED, BLIND OR DISABLED, THEY QUALIFY FOR SSI.

ONCE QUALIFIED FOR SSI THEY CAN QUALIFY FOR MEDICARE. ALL OF THIS IS AT (OUR) TAXPAYER'S EXPENSE.

HE DOESN'T WORRY ABOUT CAR INSURANCE, LIFE INSURANCE, OR HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE.

TAXPAYERS PROVIDE SPANISH LANGUAGE SIGNS, BULLETINS AND PRINTED MATERIAL.

HE AND HIS FAMILY RECEIVE THE EQUIVALENT OF $20.00 TO $30.00/HOUR IN BENEFITS.

WORKING AMERICANS ARE LUCKY TO HAVE $5.00 OR $6.00/HOUR LEFT AFTER PAYING THEIR BILLS AND HIS.

THE AMERICAN TAXPAYERS ALSO PAY FOR INCREASED CRIME, GRAFFITI AND TRASH CLEAN-UP.

CHEAP LABOR? YEAH RIGHT! WAKE UP PEOPLE!

OPEN BORDERS FACILITATE AMERICA’S RACE TO THE BOTTOM

“Cheap labor” is anything but cheap.

For decades the United States government, on all levels, has betrayed its own citizens, promoting open borders policies that have come to undermine national security, public safety, public health, and jobs and wages for American workers.
The massive influx of alien children who lack English language proficiency also has a profound impact on the education of American kids.  Increasingly schools across the United States are forced to provide costly ESL (English as a Second Language) services draining funds that could and should be used to provide quality education for American children.  Additionally, as autism rates soar and with it the growing need for special services and early intervention for such learning challenged children, money that should be spent on those vital programs that could help so many of those children live better and more productive lives is being used, instead, to fund those ESL programs for illegal aliens and frequently the children of illegal aliens who do not speak English in their homes.
When early intervention is withheld from at-risk students, the results are frequently catastrophic, yet with all of the emotional arguments posed by the immigration anarchists who call for compassion for illegal aliens, their calls for compassion utterly disregard the plight of American children.
Open borders policies permit huge numbers of foreign workers to enter the United States and displace American workers, not because American’s “won’t do these jobs” as claimed by the duplicitous politicians, but because these foreign workers are willing to accept lower wages and worse conditions than would the American workers whom they displace.
We can all think back to the days when we were growing up and sought our very first jobs to provide us with some spending money, enabling us to put our foot on the bottom rung of the economic ladder.
We often encountered the conundrum of not being able to get a job without a reference.  In order to get a reference we had to have a previous employer vouch for us.  This made getting that very first job all the more difficult and, at the same time, all the more important.
I remember my first job, when I was 14 yeas old, working during my summer vacation in a Kosher delicatessen, a short bike ride from home in Brooklyn where I washed dishes, fried potatoes and served hot dogs at the counter, waited on tables and delivered sandwiches to the women who spent hours at the nearby beauty parlors.
It was exciting and empowering to be earning money instead of asking my parents for an allowance.  Although I didn’t realize it at the time, that job also provided me with an education in life lessons, teaching me to be responsible, punctual and take instructions from an employer.  That job also taught me the value of money, I was far less likely to squander money when I had to work so hard to earn it.
Finally, that job provided me with that important first reference that helped me get other jobs in the future as I climbed the economic ladder to a successful life.
Many of my friends also worked in nearby restaurants. Brooklyn has no shortage of great places to eat, often small “mom and pop” restaurants and everyone of those establishments routinely hired teenagers and college students who were desperate to earn money.
Today most of those jobs in all too many local restaurants and other businesses are not taken by teenage American kids, but but illegal aliens, thereby shutting out Americans.
Consequently, these American kids are often unable to get that first job that would mean so much to them and provide them with important life lessons including a sense of self-worth and empowerment.
Unable to find legitimate employment, some kids, particularly in the poor neighborhoods, resort to committing crimes to get their hands on some money to take a girl on a date or make purchases.  This often puts these teenagers on a trajectory that does not end well for them or for their communities, or for America.
Illegal alien day laborers often displace construction workers, resulting in massive unemployment for American and lawful immigrant workers, boosting the profits of their employers who hire them “off the books” and pay them extremely low wages.
The open-borders/immigration anarchists are quick to invoke arguments about the need for compassion.  The reality is that there’s no compassion in the exploitation of vulnerable foreign workers nor is there compassion in the destruction of wages and jobs for Americans.
Now with the legalization of marijuana in many cities and states across the United States the issue not being raised in the media is that inasmuch as many companies test their employees for illegal drugs, it is likely that those who are encouraged to smoke marijuana will lose their jobs, perhaps leading to the globalists claiming that not only are lazy Americans not willing to take physically demanding jobs, and too dumb to take hi-tech jobs but are now too stoned to take any jobs.
The displacement of American workers is not limited to the economic bottom rung jobs.  America has been increasingly importing computer programmers and other hi-tech workers from India and other countries to displace Americans.
The Democratic Party used to act in the interests of American workers and, as a part of their efforts to protect the jobs and wages of Americans, opposed the importation of foreign workers.  Today, the Democratic Party no longer represents American workers and, in fact, has come to betray American workers and their families.  Today’s Democratic Party insists on raising the minimum wage to $15.00 per hour to achieve “wage equality.”  This works out to an annual wage of slightly more than $30,000.  The question that is never asked, particularly by the mainstream media is: “with whom would these workers become equal?”
It would be one thing if they insisted on a $15.00 minimum wage to help America’s working poor.  But to tout that wage as a means of achieving “wage equality” should give all Americans cause for pause.
As I noted in an article I once wrote about the veiled attack on the middle class,
The Wage Equality Deception, Alan Greenspan the former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank, invoked the notion of wage equality way back on April 30, 2009 when he testified before the Senate Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security and Citizenship that was, at that time, chaired by Chuck Schumer.
The subject of the hearing was “Comprehensive Immigration Reform in 2009, Can We Do It and How?”  Greenspan's prepared testimony included this assertion:
But there is little doubt that unauthorized, that is, illegal, immigration has made a significant contribution to the growth of our economy. Between 2000 and 2007, for example, it accounted for more than a sixth of the increase in our total civilian labor force. The illegal part of the civilian labor force diminished last year as the economy slowed, though illegals still comprised an estimated 5% of our total civilian labor force. Unauthorized immigrants serve as a flexible component of our workforce, often a safety valve when demand is pressing and among the first to be discharged when the economy falters.
Some evidence suggests that unskilled illegal immigrants (almost all from Latin America) marginally suppress wage levels of native-born Americans without a high school diploma, and impose significant costs on some state and local governments.
Greenspan must not have gotten the memo- when America’s poorest workers suffer wage suppression they are likely to become homeless and, indeed, across the United States, homelessness has increased dramatically.  This not only creates chaos in the lives of the homeless and their children, but imposes severe economic burdens on cities that have to cope with this disaster.
Greenspan went on to state the United States must accede to Bill Gates’ demand for more H-1B visas as Gates noted in his testimony at a previous hearing, that we are "driving away the world's best and brightest precisely when we need them most."
Where I come from, “the world’s best and brightest” are AMERICANS!  This is what is commonly referred to as “American Exceptionalism.”
Greenspan supported his infuriating call for many more H-1B visas by the following “benefits” for America and, as you will see, the last sentence of his outrageous paragraph addresses the notion of reducing “wage inequality” by lowering wages of middle class, highly educated Americans whom Greenspan had the chutzpah to refer to as “the privileged elite”!
Consider this excerpt from his testimony:
First, skilled workers and their families form new households. They will, of necessity, move into vacant housing units, the current glut of which is depressing prices of American homes. And, of course, house price declines are a major factor in mortgage foreclosures and the plunge in value of the vast quantity of U.S. mortgage-backed securities that has contributed substantially to the disabling of our banking system. The second bonus would address the increasing concentration of income in this country. Greatly expanding our quotas for the highly skilled would lower wage premiums of skilled over lesser skilled. Skill shortages in America exist because we are shielding our skilled labor force from world competition. Quotas have been substituted for the wage pricing mechanism. In the process, we have created a privileged elite whose incomes are being supported at noncompetitively high levels by immigration quotas on skilled professionals. Eliminating such restrictions would reduce at least some of our income inequality.
Generally, the prospect of high-paying jobs incentivized American students to go on to college and acquire costly and time-consuming educations to be qualified to take those exciting and well-paying jobs.  If wages for high-tech professionals are slashed, those jobs will no longer be attractive to Americans.
Greenspan, Schumer and their cohorts are determined to create a $15.00 per hour “standard wage” to be paid to all workers irrespective of education or the nature of their jobs.  This is called Communism!
Many have said that the Democrats want to import immigrants who will vote for their candidates.
What is often overlooked is that the downward economic spiral caused by the massive influx of cheap alien labor pushes ever more beleaguered Americans to vote for the Democrats who promise to help the hapless, financially strapped Americans for whom, no matter how hard they may strive, the “American Dream” has become an unattainable dream.

Democrats can't stand the thought of protecting Americans

Democrats and their cheerleaders in the mainstream media tout themselves as concerned for those addicted to drugs and regularly support increased spending money for therapy.  But they refuse to fund building the wall and for border security on the Mexican border.
The wall would significantly stop the flow of illegal drugs through the Mexican border to the USA, which would reduce the supply of illegal drugs that cause addiction and deaths by overdose.  The Democrats and media support spending money to deal with the effects of drugs smuggled across the border but refuse to spend money to stop the smuggling.
There is no doubt that illegal drugs and most heroin come across the Mexican border.  And now we have fentanyl, a synthetic opioid that is 80-100 times stronger than morphine.  According to the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), "[c]landestinely-produced fentanyl is primarily manufactured in Mexico.

The Mexican cartels are producing fentanyl and also receive it from China to smuggle it to the USA.  It is very profitable for the cartels.

In 2017, more than 72,000 Americans died from drug overdoses, with at least 30,000 attributed to fentanyl.
President Trump has called for a border wall to stop illegal immigration and to reduce the flow of illegal drugs, such as heroin and fentanyl.  It is common sense and logical that building a wall and fully securing the southern border would reduce the flow of such drugs, reducing deaths and addiction.
Yet the Democrats refuse to fund the border wall and border security.
Senator Schumer and Speaker-Elect Pelosi agree to spend $1.5 billion for "border security" but not for a wall.  President Trump is asking for only $5 billion.  It is estimated that $27 to $40 billion is needed to fully fund the wall.
It is time to fully fund the border wall.  The Trump Shutdown should focus on the record number of Americans who die due to drugs smuggled from Mexico.  The focus should be on the Democrats and media that ignore the danger to Americans.  This debate should be coupled with the number of violent crimes committed by illegal aliens.
Democrats and their media will quibble about the exact number of violent crimes committed by illegal aliens.  But the point is that such crimes are avoidable if the border is secured.
President Trump must be supported to shut down the federal government to finally force funding the wall to  protect Americans.  The issue is protecting Americans.
Iran is the principal state sponsor and supporter of terrorism.  Iran has promised to destroy Israel.  Iran's Parliament chanted "death to America" while burning our flag.  The Dems and their media supported giving $150 billion to Iran but, they refuse to spend more than $1.5 billion to protect Americans, when they know that spending $27 to $40 billion would save thousands of Americans from death and addiction.
The bottom line is that the Dems and their media do not care about the security and safety of Americans.

Congressional Progressive Caucus Has Extensive Ties to Marxist Organizations

BY TREVOR LOUDON
Commentary
The Congressional Progressive Caucus is by far the largest and most influential coalition in the federal government. It is also the most radical, having extensive ties to several major Marxist organizations.
Buoyed by an influx of new far-left members, the caucus has struck a deal with Democratic House leader Nancy Pelosi to significantly increase socialist power in the U.S. House of Representatives.
The deal will see more Communist Party USA (CPUSA) and Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) supporters appointed to key congressional committees and enjoy a greater role in influencing legislative priorities.
The quid pro quo? Support for Pelosi in her tight race to become the next speaker of the House.
“It wasn’t a coincidence that moments after Nancy Pelosi promised progressive House leaders more power in the next Congress, a host of liberal groups announced they were supporting her for speaker,” Politico recently reported.
“Rep. Pramila Jayapal, who is expected to co-chair the Progressive Caucus next year, left a Nov. 15 meeting with Pelosi in the Capitol and proclaimed that her members would have more seats on powerful committees and more influence over legislation.”
Pelosi, herself a member of the caucus before resigning to become speaker of the House in 2006, is well aware of the progressives’ growing power.
After all outstanding House races are settled, the Congressional Progressive Caucus will increase its membership from 78 to around 95 members next year—about 40 percent of the entire Democratic Caucus. Progressive Caucus leaders are using that leverage to secure influential House committee assignments.
“Thursday’s meeting with Pelosi included Jayapal and current Progressive Caucus Co-Chair Mark Pocan (D-Wis.). One request to which Pelosi agreed was to give the Progressive Caucus proportional representation on what lawmakers call the ‘A committees’: the Appropriations, Ways and Means, Energy and Commerce, Financial Services and Intelligence committees,” the Politico article continued.
The upcoming 116th Congress will bring the Progressive Caucus to the peak of its power, simultaneously increasing the influence of its allies in the U.S. communist and socialist movements.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has deemed the latest crop of radical recruits “the most progressive freshman class in modern U.S. history.”
This development must be gratifying for Sanders. As a freshman himself, he founded the caucus in 1991 with DSA member Congressman Ron Dellums(D-Calif.) and DSA/CPUSA friendly Maxine Waters (D-Calif.).
The DSA itself provided organizational help to get the caucus off the ground, according to the January/February 1998 issue of DSA publication New Ground.
The DSA–Progressive Caucus relationship remains strong, and high level.

Democratic Socialists of America

In a July 2018 DSA National Political Committee (NPC) meeting, DSA leader Maria Svart updated members on relations between the new Pro-Cuban Mexican President AndrĆ©s Manuel Lopez Obrador (author of “Oye, Trump,” which translates as “Listen up, Trump”), far-left California Rep. Ro Khanna, and the Progressive Caucus.
“[Svart] reported developing outward relationships through [DSA member] Jose La Luz to AndrĆ©s Manuel Lopez Obrador which we can pursue if the NPC wishes, with Congressman Ro Khanna and the Progressive Caucus, in the future with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and with several mainstream progressive groups at a conference on planning responses in case of a national security crisis,” the report stated.
The 116th Congress will include at least three “former” DSA members: Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.), Danny Davis (D-Ill.), and two new comrades Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.). At least a dozen more can be considered as moving in the DSA “orbit” including Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), Lloyd Doggett (D-Texas), Dave Loebsack (D-Iowa) and Progressive Caucus co-chair Mark Pocan (D-Wis.).

Communist Party USA

The CPUSA also has a long history with the Progressive Caucus.
A February 2002 report by Joelle Fishman, chair of the Political Action Committee, Communist Party USA to the Party’s National Board evaluated the usefulness of the caucus.
“Although this Caucus is not large enough to control the Congressional agenda, … the existence of this group of 57 members of Congress … provides an important lever that can be used to advance workers’ issues and move the debate to the left in every Congressional District in the country,” the report stated.
report highlighting the CPUSA’s connection to the by-now-much-larger Progressive Caucus was delivered at the 14th International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties, held in Beirut, Lebanon, from Nov. 22 to 25, 2012, by the late Erwin Marquit, a then-member of the CPUSA’s International Department:

“The Communist Party USA not only welcomes the reelection of President Barack Obama, but actively engaged in the electoral campaign for his reelection and for the election of many Democratic Party congressional candidates. …

“In our electoral policy, we seek to cooperate and strengthen our relationship with the more progressive elements in Democratic Party, such as the Progressive Caucus in the U.S. Congress, a group of 76 members of the Congress co-chaired by Raul Grijalva, a Latino from Arizona, and Keith Ellison, an African American Muslim from Minnesota. …
“In its domestic policy, for example, the Progressive Caucus has put forth a program for using the public sector to deal with unemployment. It has opposed the use of the so called ‘war on terror’ to incarcerate U.S. citizens indefinitely without criminal charges. In its foreign policy, the Progressive Caucus and the Black Caucus are outspoken in their opposition to U.S. imperialist policies abroad. The Progressive Caucus, now that Obama has been reelected, will be playing an important role in contributing to the mobilization of mass activity on critical issues to bring pressure on the Congress and administration to act on them.”

Progressive Caucus leaders Raul Grijalva and Keith Ellison both have long histories with the CPUSA, along with many other prominent Caucus members including Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.), Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-Texas), Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), and Gwen Moore(D-Wis.). Former caucus activist Nancy Pelosi herself was very tight with some CPUSA personalities at the beginning of her political career in San Francisco.

The CPUSA and DSA do not spend their time and money electing Democrats purely for love. They expect a return on their investment.

Virtually every major plank of today’s Democratic Party—from single-payer health care, amnesty for illegal aliens, normalization of relations with communist Cuba, $15 per hour minimum wage, and others—originated with the CPUSA or DSA—or from their foreign masters. It is not the slightest exaggeration to say that the communists and socialists drive Democratic Party policy formation.

With nearly 100 members—including a fresh cohort of ultra-radical recruits—coupled with unprecedented potential to influence legislative priorities thanks to Pelosi, the caucus is positioning itself to assert extraordinary power.

The Congressional Progressive Caucus is effectively part of the world communist movement. And it’s about to become the dominant faction in the Democratic Party.

Pelosi and Schumer Show Their Colors

By David Limbaugh

How can anyone believe that the Democrats support border security -- wall or no wall -- when they have repeatedly broken their promises to work with Republicans on it, when they demonize all opponents of illegal immigration and amnesty as racists, when they oppose all reasonable measures to guard the border, and when many of them actually advocate the elimination of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement?
