Singh, 33, legally immigrated to the United States, became a
U.S. citizen, and then became one of Newman’s finest citizens serving as a
police officer for twelve years. Singh’s legal entry into the U.S. added value
to our country. Sadly, this husband and father of a 5-month-old son was
allegedly murdered by an illegal criminal alien gang member on Christmas Eve.
This tragedy was preventable.
Singh’s suspected murderer had “prior criminal activity that
should have been reported to ICE,” Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson
had said. “Law enforcement was prohibited because of sanctuary laws and that
led to the encounter with (Cpl.) Singh… the outcome could have been different
if law enforcement wasn’t restricted or had their hands tied because of
political interference.”
California is a state that provides a safe harbor for people
illegally in the country. California boasts its status as a sanctuary state in
violation of federal law and the supremacy clause in Article VI of the U.S.
Constitution. California cities have passed laws prohibiting local law
enforcement agencies from cooperating with law enforcement officers from the
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) with the apprehension of illegal
immigrants even after they have committed a crime. Many of these illegal
criminals continue on to murder, rape and rob U.S. citizens post-release from a
local jail under the catch-and-release policies before notifying ICE officials.
Currently,
the threshold for immediate deportation proceedings is set too low.
Catch-and-release instead of being detained pending an immigration hearing is
like unleashing a dangerous animal into a public space. Eventually, we’ll be
dealing with an avoidable catastrophe.
Typically the definition to detain involves only crimes such
as murder, rape, and armed robbery. That’s about it. Serious drug dealing or
gun possessions are not considered crimes of violence under this strict
definition. Neither does burglary or the severe crime of driving under the
influence of alcohol. As we have seen over and over through the cost of
American lives, many additional crimes pose equally great risks to our
communities should these illegal criminal aliens be released without detaining
for ICE.
Burglary is a felony and as far as I am concerned a crime of
violence. It’s not merely a property crime that results in minor victimization.
It involves forced entry. It is a category Part I crime by FBI statistics. Part
I crimes are serious felonies. Anybody whose home has been broken into suffers
a traumatic mental experience. I have seen it when investigating burglaries.
People who once felt safe in their homes lose that sense of security after
their home is burglarized. Their kids have nightmares; adults sleep with one
eye open and every little noise in the house startles them. It takes a long
time to heal. Burglary costs Americans an estimated 4 billion in property loss
every year, but this does not include the psychological damage. The fact that
many states allow residents to use deadly force to stop intruders means that a
burglary could end violently for the intruder. It will if it happens at my home
and I am there.
Another offense that is marginalized by sympathetic lawmakers is driving under
the influence. It is not merely a traffic offense. Tens of thousands of people
are killed and maimed by impaired drivers every year. I have arrived on the
scene of crashes involving impaired drivers. Seeing lifeless and mutilated
bodies is not pretty. This is why most states take it so seriously that a first
offense is a crime punishable by imprisonment. Many make a second and third
offense a felony. It’s worth mentioning that the illegal alien who allegedly
murdered Cpl. Singh had two prior arrests for DUI and was being stopped by Cpl.
Singh for suspected driving under the influence again.
A recent Pew Research study on crimes committed by illegal
aliens indicates it’s time to take this seriously. The study shows that the bulk of those arrested in 2016 and 2017 had
prior criminal convictions. It indicates that in 2017 illegal immigrants with
past criminal convictions accounted for 74% of all arrests made by ICE which is
a 30% increase from the year before. The study points out that those with
no previous conviction increased by 146% compared to a 12% increase of those
with a past criminal conviction. They have demonstrated a propensity to
victimize. This conviction rate includes nearly 60,000 arrested for drunk
driving and approximately 58,000 arrested for dangerous drug dealing (opioids).
The other classification of convictions are as follows:
Assaults: 48,454
Larceny: 20,356
General Crimes: 17,325
Obstructing Police: 14,616
Burglary: 12,836
These numbers are not insignificant. Nobody takes the time to
point out to the criminal alien apologists that the cost associated with these
crimes include police and court costs, incarceration costs, property loss and
damage, medical costs, psychological trauma, lost work time and increased
insurance rates adding up to billions of dollars. Therefore, the policy on when
to deport and for what reasons also needs to reflect these costs to the
American people. The time to deport is before they go on to serious offenses,
not after.
Redefining what constitutes deporting a criminal alien is
needed. By changing the definition from what is considered a ‘violent act’ to a
‘serious act’ would be more inclusive of the dangerous crimes I have
highlighted in this article. Our laws need to reflect the protection of the
American people not sympathy for criminal aliens.
Is it not
asking too much for people in the country illegally to obey all of our laws,
not just a select few? Neither you nor I would be granted this courtesy if we
were even lawfully in a foreign country with a valid passport and committed a
misdemeanor crime not involving violence. Deportation would be certain and
swift with no release pending a deportation hearing.
It is time for U.S. policy to change. The American people
should not have to accept such great risks when they don’t have to. They should
not have to stand by idly before a criminal illegal alien victimizes another
American citizen.
It is bad enough that our criminal justice system is soft on
crime when it comes to people legally in the country but when that same
leniency is granted to criminal aliens it’s a problem, and it’s time to
recalculate our generosity.
The position of most politicians in Washington D.C., except
for a few Democrats who are sympathetic to all illegal migrants, is that
concerning deportations we should deal with the criminal aliens first. An
overwhelming majority of Americans agree. Nobody wants to be victimized by a
criminal, nonetheless, ones who should have been deported.
When we water down the standard for what is criminal
behavior, we are heading toward a very dark place. Crime is crime. Period. This
should be the standard for automatic deportation for criminal aliens.
Once we get the criminal illegals out, a wall is required to
prevent these thugs from running back in and continuing to victimize Americans
like Cpl. Singh who hours before his death stopped home to visit his family on
Christmas Eve, kissing his wife and child for the last time. The picture of him
with his family taken just hours before his death should serve as a grave
reminder to all who want to hug a criminal illegal alien that at any moment
they can lash out and kill an American, and that it could have been avoided if
Congress had its priorities straight and put politics aside to do what’s right.
388 SHERIFFS FROM 40
STATES SAY
BUILD THE FREAKING WALL!!!
Mexico says we will
simply tunnel under it and our LA RAZA DEMOCRAT PARTY will buy the shovels for
us to do it!
Bristol County, Massachusetts, Sheriff Thomas Hodgson state in an open letter, issued on March 21, makes clear that the
responsibility for the continued carnage of innocent Americans caused by those
who shouldn’t be present in the country in the first place lies firmly in the
lap of Congress. “Because Congress has failed to enact the necessary
reforms, our citizens and legal residents face even greater dangers, our
national security is more vulnerable, and our enforcement efforts have been
seriously compromised”
THE MEXICAN CRIME TIDAL
WAVE:
“The Obama Administration seems to be heeding to Mexico’s
request by openly halting the deportation of hundreds of thousands of illegal
immigrants. Additionally, the administration has a “backdoor amnesty” plan to
legalize millions of undocumented aliens in case Congress doesn’t pass
legislation to do it.” JUDICIAL WATCH
Heather
Mac Donald of the Manhattan Institute has testified before a Congressional
committee that in 2004, 95% of all outstanding warrants for murder in Los
Angeles were for illegal aliens; in 2000, 23% of all Los Angeles County jail
inmates were illegal aliens and that in 1995, 60% of Los Angeles’s largest
street gang, the 18th Street gang, were illegal aliens.
The Great Wall of America Will Break the Democrats
Democrats know that the wall is imminent. Is the pending dread more psychologically damaging than the erection of the wall?
Democrats know that the wall is what will finally break them, and no amount of Democrat and Democrat Media Industrial Complex (DMIC) agitprop will ever tear down the wall. It will be the chasm between the old guard and the burgeoning of Leninism within the party.
The wall is deserving of proper name capitalization.
The Democrats know that The Wall will achieve its intent of deterring and preventing mass illegal immigration, which has resulted in an illegal alien population that the federal government has no true, accurate count of.
The Wall will be the physical affirmation of our historic, theory of black swan, glass-ceiling shattering 2016 win over Empress Clinton. Tax reform and withdrawals from bogus deals with Iran and climate change globalist welfare treaties aren't palpable; I can't take a selfie in front of the 2018 Tax Cuts & Jobs Act. United States Supreme Court justices are a bit more tangible, but the court isn't omnipresent 24/7.
The Wall, though? That proposed happy marriage of steel, spikes, and concrete? Oh, it will be glorious. I know that President Trump has described The Wall as "beautiful," but we don't care if it's the ugly Christmas sweater of American architecture.
The Wall Will Save Lives and Money
Want to know how padded rubber room-inducing The Wall is for Democrats? Trump has convinced fiscal conservatives to spend money , and Democrats have talked about saving money , as evidenced here and here .
The Wall is Mount Rushmore and AR-15s and Confederate statues and the Electoral College and the Gadsden flag all in one. It is a watchtower, a monument to sovereignty, an homage to citizens, law enforcement officers, all Americans who have to worry about not only American criminals murdering them, but those here illegally as well. Ignore the Democrats and Ben Sasses of America, who prattle on about "xenophobia"; fear and greed are the bases for every decision made by the Homo sapiens species. Am I afraid of crimes being committed against me and my family from those who shouldn't be here? Damn right, I am, and if most of the spineless politicians in Washington acted a bit more fearful, Kate Steinle, Mollie Tibbetts, and Ronil Singh would likely be alive. Singh, a California police officer killed by an illegal alien in the line of duty last week, emigrated from Fiji, a country I bet is safer than the Golden State.
I wouldn't care if "only" one person died annually from illegal immigration, and I would care not if "only" one illegal border crossing occurred annually; the cult of the Democrats' gun confiscation sales pitch has always been "if it saves one life." If they believe that, vote to fund The Wall and end the government shutdown. If The Wall saves one life (it'll save many more), and saves even the smallest percentage of the annual $116-billion illegal alien financial burden, then break ground today. Just keep reiterating this to all your Democrat friends and relatives: "but if it saves one life," "but if it saves one life," " but if it..."
And GOP, you listening? Especially you zealously open-borders Tessio Republicans, who have continued to betray your voters the way Sal Tessio betrayed the Corleone family in The Godfather ?
The Democrats know that The Wall will work spectacularly well. The Beto knows it. Fugaziahontas, Elizabeth Warren, knows it. Kuckoo Kamala Harris knows it; so does Gay Sex Goon Cory Booker (I gave him this moniker after he interrogated Mike Pompeo about gay sex during his secretary of state confirmation hearings earlier this year). Joey B to the I to the D-E-N? Affirmative. The Wall will accelerate the cannibalization within the Democratic Party, between establishment Dems, who are mostly covert Leninists, and the new-school Dems, who are unabashedly open about their collectivist fetish. The Wall is the Bolsheviks overthrowing Tsar Nicholas II, and it will usher in the Democrats' version of the Russian Revolution. It will be a sight to behold. Recommended viewing beverage is a Build That Wall cocktail. Yes, such a drink exists .
The entrenched Washingtonian Democratic and Republican parties can't stand the fact that a reality television star president will do more to curb illegal immigration and the ills it has begotten than all their combined lousy efforts.
How much will The Wall cost? A lot of moola; $25 billion , maybe more. Is it worth it? Sure is. Am I concerned that Mexico won't pay for it? Nope.
Admittedly, I'm not thrilled about all aspects of The Wall, such as the expected eminent domain, which could displace hundreds of landowners. Since these property-owners will be an integral part of history, let's compensate them with triple their market value.
The Wall Makes or Breaks 2020
The Wall is a black and white policy issue for Trump. He knows he can't cave to the Democrats. If he acquiesces, read my lips: Clinton will be the 2020 Democrat nominee, and she will win.
But worry not. The Wall is Fort Sumter; there's no going back from it now.
The Wall isn't anti-immigrant; in fact, it might be the most pro-immigrant expenditure in American history – a ubiquitous reminder that America is the most generous nation in the history of the world – which admits two legal immigrants every minute of every day and will welcome with open arms those who adhere to our rule of law. Nationalism is the glue that holds this whole American experiment together.
Some presidents wants freeways, hospitals, and airports named after them. Not our president. The Donald J. Trump Great Wall of America is what he wants, and it's what the majority of people in the majority of states want . Time to get this "elections have consequences" party started.
Build that wall along all 2,000 miles on the southern border, Mr. President. Build it high, build it wide, build it tall, as tall as the sky. Our only regret about The Wall will be that it's not visible from outer space.

Illegals a law unto themselves in California cop-killing case
By Monica Showalter
As the killing of a Newman, Calif. police officer demonstrates, illegal immigration is hardly a single crime.
Here's what Breitbart News reports :
The family of Gustavo Perez Arriaga, a 32-year-old illegal alien, helped him evade police and attempted to help smuggle him across the United States-Mexico border after he allegedly murdered 33-year-old Newman, California, police officer Ronil Singh, federal documents allege.
The day after Christmas, Singh pulled Arriaga over on suspicion of drunk driving. That's when police say the illegal alien shot Singh. Over his police radio, Singh called out "shots fired," and as police arrived at the scene of the traffic stop, they found the officer with a gunshot wound.
Singh was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died, leaving behind his wife Anamika and their newborn five-month-old son.
The Breitbart report, citing police sources, shows that seven family members of this alleged shooter were right there at the ready to help him evade any responsibility for his actions, and there was a human-smuggler there to help, too. It seemed to happen like clockwork. One might have helped him steal the gun from Washington State and apparently lied to the cops about it; another allegedly covered up a bullet hole in Arriaga's pickup that was left there after the murder; one packed three changes of clothing for the alleged cop-killer so as to escape in comfort; one drove him to a relative's house in Stockton so as to wait the matter out (apparently, they were thrown out by some relatives who wanted no truck with the law, though I don't see any evidence they called the cops); one disposed of the murder weapon; one transported the alleged cop-killer elsewhere; one tricked a relative into a loan for the getaway, via the human-smuggler who got the whole group into the U.S. in the first place; one bought him a new cell phone; one brought a new change of clothes; and someone wired five hundred bucks for the escape.
All this in the course of Arriaga's two days on the run. Supposedly, he's a gang member, but the evidence here suggests that his gang is his family. And surprise, surprise: This group that acted with such military precision is all here illegally.
These are the people the media idolizes with sob stories in their bid to ensure open borders. These are the people House speaker Nancy Pelosi waxes poetic about regarding their "souls." These are the people leftist judges refuse to sentence on account of the potential for their being deported afterward, creating one set of laws for Americans and another for foreigners. These are the people Democrats would like to have citizenship with voting rights, as well as hand out free health care to in California itself.
Next time you hear about "comprehensive immigration reform," you've got to remember that an amnesty for illegal foreign lawbreakers would include people with the morals of these, always helpful with family matters. Up until now, the entire group had been model illegals and would have had the benefit of U.S. largess and bennies. Now they've been exposed for the unvetted and unethical people they are, creating a law until themselves.
What they show is that illegal immigration is rarely a one-off crime. Far more likely, it's a series of crimes, and that could leave people such as these so morally corrupted that they could jump right in and help out their accused cop-killer relative as their first matter of course. That's their values. They have no loyalty to American values. Their only values are to themselves. Why they weren't thrown out long ago is precisely why this crime is so repulsive. It's past time to make Democrats answer for it as they seek to legalize people such as these.
