THE OBAMA COUP ATTEMPT - THE RUSSIAN HOAX WAS A COVER-UP EFFORT FOR OBAMA'S POLITICAL SPYING SINCE 2012

Joe DiGenova blows the lid off the real scandal: The Russia hoax was a cover-up effort for Obama's political spying since 2012

Hold on to your hats.  At last, we are on the verge of getting to the bottom of the weaponization of the nation's top law enforcement and spy agencies to spy on political opponents, and it is far bigger than obtaining bogus FISA Court warrants to spy on Carter Page.  Barack Obama's minions have been spying on his political opponents since before his 2012 re-election, and the entire Russiagate hoax was an effort to cover up that ongoing spying.
As I have stated before, the best sources for understanding the unfolding of the biggest political scandal in American history are D.C. super-lawyers Joe DiGenova and Victoria Toensing, who have an unmatched track record in explaining the events we see in the media and predicting the forthcoming revelations.  I am not in communication with them, but it does appear they have superb sources — which would not be surprising, given their long history as key conservative players at the highest level of the D.C. legal and political circles.
Yesterday, Joe DiGenova made his customary Monday-morning guest appearance on WMAL radio's Mornings on the Mall radio show.  (WMAL is the premier conservative talk station in D.C.).  The 15-minute segment is jam-packed with must-listen insights.  In addition to his revelations about the true nature of the Russiagate hoax, there is another quiet bombshell he dropped — see the end of this blog post for the tantalizing perspective he revealed.  You can listen on the YouTube version here.
The basic story is that Admiral Mike Rogers, who was head of the NSA in the spring of 2016, discovered that the NSA's comprehensive database collecting all electronic communications in the United States was being searched by unauthorized FBI "contractors" and moved to cut off that access.  He also visited Donald Trump, after which Trump moved his campaign HQ out of Trump Tower.  Trump's much derided claim that his campaign was "wiretapped" likely also was the result of gaining this insight from Admiral Rogers.
The subsequent launch of Crossfire Hurricane and the effort to obtain FISA warrants were not to initiate spying on the Trump campaign, but rather to provide legal grounding for the spying efforts on political opponents that had been underway for years.
Sundance at Conservative Treehouse picked up on the DiGenova interview and in his inimitable fashion lays out the background story from evidence already on the public record, here, complete with many hyperlinks to sources.  It is a long and complex post, but some of the key conclusions.
Tens of thousands of searches [of the NSA database] over four years (since 2012), and 85% of them are illegal. The results were extracted for?…. (snip)
OK, that’s the stunning scale; but who was involved?
Private contractors with access to “raw FISA information that went well beyond what was necessary to respond to FBI’s requests
And as noted, the contractor access was finally halted on April 18th, 2016.
[Coincidentally (or not), the wife of Fusion-GPS founder Glenn Simpson, Mary Jacoby, goes to the White House the next day on April 19th, 2016.]
None of this is conspiracy theory.
All of this is laid out inside this 99-page opinion from FISC Presiding Judge Rosemary Collyer who also noted that none of this FISA abuse was accidental in a footnote on page 87: “deliberate decisionmaking“: (snip)
Summary of this aspect: The FISA court identified and quantified tens-of-thousands of search queries of the NSA/FBI database using the FISA-702(16)(17) system. The database was repeatedly used by persons with contractor access; who unlawfully searched and extracted the raw results without redacting the information; and shared it with an unknown number of entities.
The outlined process certainly points toward a political spying, surveillance, and file-building operation; and we are not the only one to think that’s what this system is being used for. (snip)
There is little doubt the FISA-702(16)(17) database system was used by Obama-era officials, from 2012 through April 2016, as a way to spy on their political opposition. Quite simply there is no other intellectually honest explanation for the scale and volume of database abuse that was taking place. (snip)
Everything after March 9th, 2016, was done to cover up the weaponization of the FISA database. [Explained Here] Spygate, Russia-Gate, the Steele Dossier, and even the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (drawn from the dossier and signed by the above) were needed to create a cover-story and protect themselves from discovery of this four year weaponization, political surveillance and unlawful spying. Even the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel makes sense; he was FBI Director when this began. (snip)
Political spying 1.0 was actually the weaponization of the IRS. This is where the term “Secret Research Project” originated as a description from the Obama team. It involved the U.S. Department of Justice under Eric Holder and the FBI under Robert Mueller. It never made sense why Eric Holder requested over 1 million tax records via CD ROM, until overlaying the timeline of the FISA abuse:
The IRS sent the FBI “21 disks constituting a 1.1 million page database of information from 501(c)(4) tax exempt organizations, to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.” The transaction occurred in October 2010 (link)
Why disks? Why send a stack of DISKS to the DOJ and FBI when there’s a pre-existing financial crimes unit within the IRS. All of the evidence within this sketchy operation came directly to the surface in early spring 2012.
The IRS scandal was never really about the IRS, it was always about the DOJ asking the IRS for the database of information. That is why it was transparently a conflict when the same DOJ was tasked with investigating the DOJ/IRS scandal. Additionally, Obama sent his chief-of-staff Jack Lew to become Treasury Secretary; effectively placing an ally to oversee/cover-up any issues. As Treasury Secretary Lew did just that. (snip)
Fusion GPS was not hired in April 2016 to research Donald Trump. As shown in the evidence provided by the FISC, the intelligence community was already doing surveillance and spy operations. The Obama administration already knew everything about the Trump campaign, and were monitoring everything by exploiting the FISA database. (snip)
However, after the NSA alerts in/around March 9th, 2016, and particularly after the April 18th shutdown of contractor access, the Obama intelligence community needed Fusion GPS to create a legal albeit ex post facto justification for the pre-existing surveillance and spy operations. Fusion GPS gave them that justification in the Steele Dossier.
That’s why the FBI small group, which later transitioned into the Mueller team, are so strongly committed to and defending the formation of the Steele Dossier and its dubious content. The Steele Dossier contains the cover-story and justification for the pre-existing surveillance operation. (snip)
Fusion GPS was not hired to research Trump, the intelligence community was already doing surveillance and spy operations. The intelligence community needed Fusion GPS to give them a plausible justification for already existing surveillance and spy operations.
Fusion-GPS gave them the justification they needed for a FISA warrant with the Steele Dossier. Ultimately that’s why the Steele Dossier is so important; without it, the DOJ and FBI are naked with their FISA-702 abuse….
Joe DiGenova dropped one other bombshell that remains to be explored: that he believes that the NSA database contains the 30,000 emails that Hillary Clinton deleted from her server, and that the two U.S. attorneys tasked with investigating the scandals will access those emails in the course of their investigations.  Recall that U.S. attorney for Utah John Huber is investigating the handling of the dropped prosecution of her violations of national security law with her home-brew server and possible crimes related to the Clinton Foundation, including, presumably, the Uranium One acquisition of U.S. uranium reserves by Russian interests and the massive donations to the Clinton Foundation.

PAY-TO-PLAY FROM THE FIRST DAY!

Is it a signal that she's back in the game because she's selling her president-ability to the world's global billionaire crowd and laying the groundwork for more funds?  There are all kinds of ways for foreign billionaires to get money to the U.S. without consequences, after all.  What's more, it's pretty much the biggest base of support she has, which is at least one reason why she lost the 2016 election.

“The couple parlayed lives supposedly spent in “public service”into admission into the upper stratosphere of American wealth, with incomes in the top 0.1 percent bracket. The source of this vast wealth was a political machine that might well be dubbed “Clinton, Inc.” This consists essentially of a seedy money-laundering operation to ensure big business support for the Clintons’ political ambitions as well as their personal fortunes.

The basic components of the operation are lavishly paid speeches to Wall Street and Fortune 500 audiences, corporate campaign contributions, and donations to the ostensibly philanthropic Clinton Foundation.”

"But what the Clintons do is criminal because they do it wholly at the expense of the American people. And they feel thoroughly entitled to do it: gain power, use it to enrich themselves and their friends. They are amoral, immoral, and venal. Hillary has no core beliefs beyond power and money. That should be clear to every person on the planet by now."  ----  Patricia McCarthy - AMERICANTHINKER.com

THE SHADY POLITICS OF HILLARY CLINTON and her PAY-TO-PLAY MAFIA

The left cared nothing about that bit of collusion.

Hillary and her campaign aides have long been involved with Russia for reasons of personal gain.  Clinton herself got $145 million in donations to the Clinton Foundation for allowing Russia to take over twenty percent of all uranium production in the U.S. Her campaign chairman, John Podesta, is reaping the financial benefits of being on the board of a Russian company, Joule, which he did not disclose.  PATRICIA McCARTHY

“There is no controlling Bill Clinton. He does whatever he wants and runs up incredible

“Bill Clinton mixes and matches his personal business with that of the foundation. Many people within the foundation have tried to caution him about this but he does not listen, and there really is no talking to him,” the memo added.

When Barack Obama declared war on Donald Trump

The latest round of navel-gazing is the effort to name what has happened to President Donald Trump.  It is a hoax or is it a coup, and when did it start?
I am a 2003 graduate of the Naval War College.  We studied "war."  What happened to Donald Trump was an act of war.
"War is an act of violence intended to compel our opponent to fulfil our will" (Clausewitz: On War).
President Barack Obama marshaled secret government resources across the intelligence and law enforcement communities and declared war on the civilian Donald Trump.  "Hoax" suggests a humorous or malicious deception.  "Coup" suggests a sudden, violent, and illegal seizure of power from a government.  President Obama's actions were neither humorous nor malicious but were an egregious abuse of power of the Executive.  To say that what happened to President Trump was a coup d'état, an overthrow or a type of revolution, or an illegal and overt seizure by the military or other elites within the state apparatus, isn't adequate, either.
President Trump's enemies declared war on him for one reason and one reason only: vindictiveness.  Vengeance.  Who dares question the mighty O?  In the words of Hillary Clinton, at a speech in the nation's capital, referring to Trump, "For five years, he has led the birther movement to delegitimize our first black president" (italics mine).  Out of a population of 330 million people, only Donald Trump got Barack Obama to blink in an undeclared war that began when Citizen Donald Trump inquired about the president's citizenship.  Barack Obama was none too happy with the temerity of private citizen Donald J. Trump.  For questioning the mighty Obama's credentials, fellow Democrats and the media jumped to the president's defense.  From that moment, Obama, Washington Democrats, and the media have hated Trump with every fiber of their being.
Don't think or say, "They hate him because it's fun to hate Donald Trump" or any of that drivel.  The full force of the U.S. government's most powerful agencies was leveraged against Citizen, Candidate, and President Trump.  Politics becomes a blood sport when you cross the boss.  And this one is a blood vengeance.  Those who worshiped their messiah would have done and will do anything asked of them to see Donald Trump annihilated for daring todelegitimize our first black president.
Delegitimizing Obama was Trump's crime and the Democrat's rallying war cry, their call to arms.  Trump suspected that Obama was not the man he claimed to be.
If anyone took the time to research, the Democrats and the media declared war on Donald J. Trump before the 2012 elections, when he made some noises about running for president.  When he became a candidate in 2015, the Democrat-media complex conspired to render a slow and painful death by a thousand cuts.  Not scimitar-wielding Megyn Kelly asking Trump about his past derogatory comments about women.  Not Bret Baier sticking up for his debate partner's cutting questions.  No, paper cuts.  Manufactured dossiers.  Leaked memos.  Secret legal documents from FISA courts that in law enforcement circles have the greatest level of respectability and credibility.  You see, if you're going to kill someone with paper, "you have to do it by the book."
Obama's army were the heads of the intelligence and law enforcement communities at the CIA, FBI, and DOJ.  Their weapon was counterfeit papers that cut as sharply and deeply as any executioner's knife.  The Clappers, Comeys, and Brennans knew exactly how to have secondary and tertiary sources plant stories in the media.
This is exactly what enemies of the nation can expect when the intelligence community and law enforcement agencies are on them.  Destroy your reputation; ruin your life by leaking a story to the media.  And once a story is in the media, then law enforcement can "do their job" and investigate.  By the book.

Loretta Lynch doubles down on cover-up

One of the central questions brewing in the investigation into the FBI anti-Trump cabal is not only how wide and deep the scandal pervades government, but how high it reaches.
The ladder of suspicion was recently sawed short by a leak of former attorney general Loretta Lynch's closed-door congressional testimony regarding her notorious airport meeting with Bill Clinton of June 27, 2016, a rendezvous mere days before Hillary Clinton's scheduled interrogation by the FBI.
The content of the leak tells a story, but the leak itself appears designed to persuade us that it's a story we are supposed to believe.  Caveat fabula!  Beware of leakers bearing gifts.
A little history:
The original 2016 exposé of the infamous airport meeting may or may not qualify as a leak per se but follows the same story arc as any tasty tale begging to be swallowed.  News rapidly went viral, and the nation became appropriately shocked that the sitting A.G. and former president Clinton would engage in such clandestine skullduggery while the fate of candidate Hillary Clinton awaited judgment.
Or did the nation take the bait, biting the hook of a first-class red herring theatrical production staged to bench team Lynch in favor of team Comey?  While political critics of all types vented righteous indignation, A.G. Lynch semi-recused herself from her Justice duties; gagged her deputy, Sally Yates, who, by rights, should have assumed the A.G. tasks; and stood aside as FBI director James Comey seized the sword of justice to acquit candidate Hillary in a performance that even Alexander Haig could admire.  Breathtaking!
But is this a one-act play?  The current leak suggests not.  Loose ends have been known to strangle many folks, even those in high and mighty places.  If Loretta Lynch was indeed an airport conspirator, her former boss, President Obama, might well be in the loop, or certainly in the know.
The recent congressional leak tries to tidy things up.  Loretta was just a babe in the airport woods when ambushed by an irrepressible Bill, or so goes the leak.  If Loretta was the polite, but prevailed upon, aviation hostess, Barack Obama could remain above the fray.  As for further damage to Bill Clinton's reputation, his legend as a master of political derring-do would only grow, much to the admiration of the Slick Willie fan club.  Any naysayers panning Bill's stagecraft may hurl their boos and hisses, but are they just chomping on the newest and shiniest red herring?
In a nation of 514 paved airports, Loretta Lynch snuggles up in Phoenix with Bill Clinton in front of a blabbing tattler, then testifies behind leaky closed doors that she and the White House (by implication) remain politically virginal?  Save room on your bookshelf between Ian Fleming and John Le Carré for this tale.

Time to Pay the Piper

“Time to pay the piper” is an appropriate phrase for what I hope lies ahead in Washington, D.C.
The investigation of President Trump failed to find any collusion (or obstruction). The Democrats' hero Robert Mueller and his team of prosecutors spent two years and $30-plus million to tell most of us what we already knew. Their report, designed to allow continual Democrat attacks, exonerated Trump. Despite best efforts, they failed, at least in the eyes of the Democratic rabid base.
With that out of the way, it is now time to pay the piper.
Attorney General William Barr is now tasked to investigate the origins of the phony investigation against President Trump.  The assault is over. The king is still alive and sounds of the piper can be faintly heard.
Speculation abounds regarding what was done and by whom. Like him or loathe him, Donald Trump is now on the offensive and he holds all the cards. Watergate may end up looking like a jaywalking violation by the time this investigation is over.
For the sake of the country, the investigation should be thorough, fair, and reasonably quick. The punishment need be commensurate with the offenses and painful enough to dissuade future corruption of this type. Sunshine, the best disinfectant, is anathema to both Dracula and the Deep State, but dawn is here.
Understanding This Mess
We don't know all that has happened because only part of the information is public. However, to understand what led us to this point, two major factors seem to have been in play.
1)  Obama's Mission from God Mentality
President Obama, was on a mission to "transform the country." When you view the United States as a cruel and exploitative country responsible for much of the horrific abuses in the world, it is natural to disrespect its history, traditions, and laws. (Recall Michelle saying when Obama was sworn in that it was the first time she was proud of our country.) Also, recall Obama's messianic approach to politics, including his "we are the ones we are waiting for."
To correct for these injustices, you cannot be restrained by the same customs and laws that created them. Numerous Obama actions suggest a willingness to break or at least bend the norms and laws of this country:
  • Gunrunning to Mexico in an effort to gain support for mitigating the Second Amendment.
  • Cover-up and lies about Benghazi.
  • Weaponizing the IRS against conservatives.
  • Spying on journalists.
This is a small fraction of what might be listed. The clueless Joe Biden, who defined Obama's administration as having “not one single whisper of scandal," apparently does not remember these and other questionable activities. His position either reveals his own IQ and/or tells voters how dumb he believes them to be. Neither interpretation is useful for Old Joe's presidential hopes.
Obama's arrogance was not unique. What was, was his near-unanimous support and adulation by the media. No other president has been so protected and worshiped by the press. Richard Nixon, Evil Incarnate to many, may have had better or worse intentions than Obama. We will never know because his adversarial relationship with the press restricted his opportunities to do either.
2)  The Criminal Mind
Investigation, thus far, has been primarily on campaign-related matters, including spying and infiltration attempts against the Trump campaign. Less emphasized is the apparent spying on American citizens that preceded the campaign. These abuses are at least as important and a key to understanding how matters got so out of hand.
Criminals rarely begin their careers with a capstone crime. Trivial crimes typically get bigger and more serious over the malefactor's career. The same pattern applies to government crimes for the same reason. Specifically, the perp is unsure of how far he can go before he is noticed and reacted to.
Violations of privacy and differential citizen treatment were rife long before Trump came on the scene. The IRS scandal under Obama involved blocking conservative organizations from getting proper tax status.  James Rosen, a Fox reporter, was spied on as early as 2010 by the Obama Administration. Samantha Power unmasked an incredible number of people in her role at the United Nations. Debra Heine referenced Sara Carter saying:
"That's unheard of," Carter said. "Put it this way -- when John Bolton was the at the U.N., he unmasked three people. Three people. She unmasked close to 300. And I'm going to tell you some of those names are going to be very important when they come out," she added.
(Sara Carter and John Solomon were investigative heroes pursuing this scandal while others looked away.)
The Intelligence Community appears to have been unleashed against American citizens before Trump announced his intentions to run for office. Given what was deemed to be an infinitesimal chance of his winning, one wonders why any attention at all was paid to Trump, at least initially. Perhaps the ease with which the controls and checks and balances were vitiated in prior FISA abuses and unmaskings, made it seem almost "free" or "riskless" to engage in such behavior. If this thinking is correct, there is likely evidence to be uncovered regarding other Republican candidates, especially those considered as real opponents.
Criminality in government did not start in Obama's administration. Serious abuses in J. Edgar Hoover's long reign are well documented. How much of this was institutionalized into the fabric of the intelligence community? Does anyone believe that such perfidies and criminal acts did not occur under Carter, Reagan, Clinton, or Bush?
Hoover was a fanatic who considered himself a patriot. His behavior was as reprehensible as what is being uncovered today. However, there is a big difference! Hoover was the instigator and director of this behavior. He was a lone wolf at the head of a powerful agency.
Today, the effort does not emanate from one agency but permeates the entire upper echelon of the Intelligence Community. Someone higher-up had to coordinate and direct this organized effort. That is vastly more serious than a powerful, rogue FBI director infecting his own agency! There is no proof that Obama was in charge of the operation, but the fact that it was politically oriented is a meaningful difference from Hoover. The fact that it was coordinated across agencies also suggests that someone at or near the top directed it.
Panic Sets In
When Trump won the nomination, it was considered a blessing for the Democrats. It was "impossible" for him to win. Had Clinton won, none of this skullduggery would have surfaced. Many committing the crimes would have been carried forward in the Clinton Administration. It all would have been buried in some remote part of the Swamp. It seemed risk-free to continue the dirty tricks and illegalities.
Fortunately, Trump won. Had he not, the norms and integrity of government would have shifted downward to a lower level. The Swamp Creatures would have been emboldened to violate even more checks/balances and laws against opponents and citizens in the future.
Unfortunately (for the bad guys), Trump won. Panic ensued. To protect themselves, the bad guys had to develop a narrative that would stop Trump even after he had done the impossible and won the election. The election had to be overturned! Careers and lives depended on it.
Many of the protagonists are in the process of further disgracing themselves by attempting to evade accountability. Even the supposed venerable Robert Mueller has been soiled with his milquetoast report. Matters will get worse -- much worse! There are so many parts to this scandal that it is impossible to predict where it leads.
Fortunately, Barr's love of country and the Justice Department and related institutions drove him from a comfy life in the private sector to becoming the second most maligned man in Washington. Does anyone believe he came back to play the Deep State game?
He is on a mission to discover what happened and to hold those people accountable. If my perceptions are correct, he has the opportunity to be as valuable to the country's survival as some of our earliest patriots. He is a no-nonsense guy and I hope he takes no prisoners.
