WHY DOES NANCY PELOSI WORK SO HARD FOR ILLEGALS? WHAT IF SHE WORKED JUST AS HARD FOR AMERICANS (Legals)?

Pelosi ‘ripped our hearts out’ tearing up that speech says brother of man killed by illegal alien

Of all the theatrics and political gamesmanship House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., displayed Tuesday night at the State of the Union, and the dishonor she brought upon the institution of government with her antics, the worst thing she did was to bring even more pain to the family of a man killed by an illegal immigrant.
Jody Jones was a State of the Union guest of President Donald Trump, representing his grieving family after his brother, Rocky Jones, was shot and killed in California in 2018 by an illegal alien with a long criminal history and previous deportation orders.
And Jones wasn’t appreciative of Pelosi’s actions, as the speaker was seen fidgeting, pursing her lips and making faces. Like a petulant child, she ripped in half a copy of the SOTU speech given to her by the president at the end — a move Jones likened to ripping the hearts out of the chests of every guest in attendance.
“It felt like she ripped our hearts out,” he said Wednesday, during an appearance on Fox & Friends. “Everybody there. All of the guests. We couldn’t believe it.”

“I don’t care how you feel about somebody,” Jones continued. “That was probably the most disrespectful thing I have ever seen in my life. Because, when she did that, it just tore us up. We couldn’t believe it.”
President Trump shared the tragic death of Jones’ brother with the nation, saying California’s sanctuary state policy, which has had “catastrophic results,” allowed his killer to be released from jail.
When Jones was introduced and the cameras turned in his direction, he was in tears, crying over the loss of his brother — Pelosi looked on with limited interest, at best.

Nancy Pelosi not even acknowledging Rocky Jones’s Brother, Rocky was murdered by an illegal Alien in her state of California.
How VILE is that? Disgusting!

25 people are talking about this

Trump delivered one of his more memorable lines of the night after this, saying, “The United States should be a sanctuary for law-abiding American citizens, not criminal aliens!”
After the SOTU, Pelosi released a statement denouncing the president’s speech as a “manifesto of mistruths.”
She wrote: “The manifesto of mistruths presented in page after page of the address tonight should be a call to action for everyone who expects truth from the president and policies worthy of his office and the American people. The American people expect and deserve a president to have integrity and respect for the aspirations for their children.”
Jones shared the details of his brothers’ death with the Fox & Friends crew.
“He was murdered by Gustavo Garcia,” he said. “He was an illegal immigrant. He was a criminal. He was deported twice before. The second time, he actually did federal time. He was arrested two days prior for being under the influence.”
Noting that the last arrest was a misdemeanor charge, Jones said the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department released Garcia within 10 hours.
When asked if he had a message for Speaker Pelosi, Jones began by calling for an end to California’s sanctuary law, before revisiting her disrespectful actions at the SOTU.
First of all, let’s do away with the S.B. 54,” he said. “I don’t care how you feel about somebody. Think of other people and the others involved, please. Because what you did was very disrespectful. And it really ripped our hearts out.”

Seventy-five percent of illegal immigrants skip deportation hearings, hiding out in US

More than 7 out of 10 illegal immigrant families ordered to be deported have skipped their court dates and remain in the United States, according to federal statistics.
In just 10 courts, some 36,115 illegal immigrant families ordered out from September 2018 to January 2020 never complied with a requirement to attend their hearings and instead are hiding out in the country, according to a Justice Department report from the Executive Office for Immigration Review Adjudication Statistics.
The report, according to an analysis by the Center for Immigration Studies, found that during the period, 47,925 families were denied asylum and ordered deported, but 75% didn’t attend their court hearings to get the order.
The statistics are the latest in a long string of reports that have detailed how illegal immigrants disappear into the U.S. once they enter.
“Their failure to appear suggests that they simply gamed loopholes in our immigration laws to gain entry into this country, to live and work indefinitely,” said former Immigration Judge Andrew R. Arthur, writing for CIS.
“There is nothing wrong with people looking for a better life generally, of course, but the problem in these cases are that (1) they put themselves and their children in danger by entering illegally to begin with, (2) they gave money to criminals and cartels to be smuggled into the U.S., (3) they are swelling immigration court dockets with hearing dates they never attended and likely never planned to attend, and (4) they make it harder for legitimate asylum seekers to get protection in a timely manner, which would allow those aliens to start a new life free from fear and protect their family members still abroad. Oh, and illegal entry is a crime,” he added.
The report said that as in the past, some 9 out of 10 immigrants seeking asylum into the U.S. were denied.
Over the 15-month period and 10 courts studied in the report, judges completed 52,646 cases resulting in deportations of 47,925 — a 91% removal rate.

Illegal: How America's Lawless Immigration Regime Threatens Us All

By Elizabeth F. Cohen

Basic Books, 272 pp.

Hardcover, ISBN: 154169984X, $21.72
Book Description: Under the Trump administration, US immigration agencies terrorize the undocumented, target people who are here legally, and even threaten the constitutional rights of American citizens. How did we get to this point?

In Illegal, Elizabeth F. Cohen reveals that our current crisis has roots in early twentieth century white nationalist politics, which began to reemerge in the 1980s. Since then, ICE and CBP have acquired bigger budgets and more power than any other law enforcement agency. Now, Trump has unleashed them. If we want to reverse the rising tide of abuse, Cohen argues that we must act quickly to rein in the powers of the current immigration regime and revive saner approaches based on existing law. Going beyond the headlines, Illegal makes clear that if we don't act now all of us, citizen and not, are at risk.
