Biden was enriching more
family members than just
Hunter
On January 21, Peter Schweizer’s newest book, Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite, will be released. It should sell well given that pre-sales have already put it at #14 on the Amazon charts. As a preview of coming attractions, the New York Post published an extract from the book detailing “How five members of Joe Biden’s family got rich through his connections.”
"Six months after James was hired, the company received a contract, estimated to be worth upwards of $1.5 billion, to build more than 100,000 homes in Iraq. As a minority partner in the firm, James would have been eligible to split more than $735 million in profits upon the contract’s completion."
BIDEN: DEAD MAN WALKING.... Along side Hillary Clinton pushing Joe
over the edge and into the grave.
Joe Biden is as corrupt a politician as there ever was, who
absolutely is guilty and compromised by his efforts to enrich his ne'er-do-well
son, his brother, sister and daughter.
Hillary is also a narcissist of the worst order, the kind who
never takes responsibility for the havoc she has wrought on the lives of
others, let alone her country. She is in fact one of the most corrupt
politicians ever to prevail for so many years, to become fabulously wealthy for
her many deceits and crimes.
A Biden candidacy — what's the plan? There is always a plan
Why,
when Joe Biden's mental decline is so obvious, are so many former Obamaphiles
pledging their spurious support for the man? Something's up. It
is beyond clear that Biden is not up to the job. This fact cannot
escape the notice of Susan Rice, James Comey, John Brennan, et al., all those
conspirators who tried so treasonously hard to destroy Donald
Trump. They surely know better than most that Biden is a dead man
walking. So why the all-out campaign to support his
candidacy? Hmmm.
They
must have a plan. Is their plan to submarine Joe before the
convention, admit he is incapacitated, and put up a heretofore untested
candidate at a brokered convention? Or do they have a plan to
appoint a V.P. candidate they assume will become president in short
order? Perhaps, as Joel Gilbert
speculated here
yesterday, the plan is to install Hillary as the candidate to run against
President Trump in a last-ditch effort to derail his fabulously successful
presidency. They certainly have some devious scheme to replace Biden
by hook or crook, for his dementia cannot possibly have escaped their notice.
The
now available Hillary documentary for all to see is probably meant to prime the
public for her potential last-minute candidacy. It is not very
likely to be successful. She is the kind of harridan who makes
Elizabeth Warren seem kind and gentle! Hillary is also a
narcissist of the worst order, the kind who never takes responsibility for the
havoc she has wrought on the lives of others, let alone her
country. She is in fact one of the most corrupt politicians ever to
prevail for so many years, to become fabulously wealthy for her many deceits
and crimes. She has been a blight upon the U.S. since she gained
power as the wife of the governor of Arkansas. She spent forty years
covering up for her husband's crimes against women and has somehow lived to
tell no tales. Her fans are certifiable morons, susceptible to any and all
of the propaganda the left propels into the mainstream media. She
has yet to endorse Biden. To support his candidacy is to deny his
indisputable advancing dementia.
Credit
to the voters of South Carolina is due for sure: they understand the horror an
American-hating communist would perpetrate upon this great nation. A
Bernie Sanders presidency would be the end of America as
founded. Those who support him either are tragically ignorant of the
genocidal reality of socialism wherever tried or hate their own nation so
much they are willing to suffer the monstrous consequences of electing a
communist president.
Make
no mistake: Bernie Sanders intends to be a communist president if
elected. Like Castro, Maduro, Chávez, Lenin, and all the dictators
he so admires, he would be a tyrant. For nearly fifty years, he has
wanted to punish those who fend for themselves and succeed. A man
who admires Fidel Castro must never come to power in America. Never. Bless
those voters in South Carolina who know this.
Sadly,
Joe Biden was their only other choice. Chances are, those same
voters will vote for President Trump in November. They were savvy
enough to know that Sanders would be a disaster; they are shrewd enough to know
that Joe Biden is senile. Most of us of a certain age recognize
advancing senility when we see it because we have seen it ourselves; we know
the heartbreak. Joe is done. So what is their plan?
Whatever
it is, it cannot be good for the American people. The left never
considers the American people, never gives a thought to its
constituents. Leftists are always and only about power and their continued
access to the wealth that power provides for them. They are certain of
their own superiority, their due privilege to lead and control the rest of
us. The fact that Mike Bloomberg actually thought he could step in
and purchase the presidency with his billions is proof of the left's
mindset. His failure to succeed was delicious; the American people
cannot be bought. Some of them can be fooled for a while, but in the
end, their good sense prevails. That is how we elected the best
president in decades, Donald Trump. They will re-elect him in
November despite the left and left media's never-ending attempts to destroy his
presidency. When the history of the left's wholesale assault on
America, its founding principles and values from the 1960s on, is written, it
will prove that the nation was under constant assault by the anti-American
left. The left has successfully indoctrinated two generations of
university students to loathe their country. Leftists have
successfully made race, class, and sex the defining characteristics of every
person, who must be a designated member of a victim group or an oppressor. They
give no credence to the value of the individual or to any individual's
character. MLK is rolling over in his grave.
All
of those leftists coming out of the woodwork to support Joe Biden know only too
well that he is an intellectual lightweight, "wrong on every foreign
policy issue for forty years," (Robert Gates), a mean-spirited bastard who
delighted in destroying Robert Bork and humiliating the great Clarence
Thomas. He is as corrupt a politician as there ever was, who absolutely
is guilty and compromised by his efforts to enrich his ne'er-do-well son, his
brother, sister and daughter. The thought of this man even becoming
close to the presidency is abhorrent. Whatever his pseudo-supporters have in
mind, it is not good for the American people; not one bit. We will soon learn
what their plan is. Chances are it won't be pretty and chances are the American
people will not fall for it.
Sanders tells supporters: It is “irresponsible” not to campaign for Biden
In the days after formally ending his campaign and endorsing Joe Biden, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has intensified his efforts to dragoon his supporters into backing the right-wing standard bearer of the Democratic Party establishment.
In an interview with the Associated Press published on Tuesday, Sanders slandered as “irresponsible” any of his supporters who do not campaign for Biden. “Do we be as active as we can in electing Joe Biden and doing everything we can to move Joe and his campaign in a more progressive direction?” he asked. “Or do we choose to sit out and allow the most dangerous president in modern American history to get reelected?”
There is widespread anger and opposition among workers and youth to Sanders’ craven capitulation to Biden in a livestreamed eventon Monday. Sanders’ response is to declare: “I believe that it’s irresponsible for anybody to say, ‘Well, I disagree with Joe Biden—I disagree with Joe Biden!—and therefore I’m not going to be involved.’”
Bernie Sanders (Flick.com, Gage Skidmore)
As he did in 2016, but now under much more explosive social and political conditions, Sanders is exchanging his “political revolution against the establishment” for the thin gruel of “lesser evil” politics.
A few points in reply to Senator Sanders.
First, support for Biden means support for the social interests that he represents and the program that he is advancing. Biden, who was first elected to the US Senate from the state of Delaware in 1972, has spent nearly four decades as a faithful servant of the ruling class. He has an extensive record of support for war, austerity, capital punishment, and mass incarceration.
The present catastrophe caused by the coronavirus pandemic is the consequence of policies pursued by the ruling class and its representatives, Democratic and Republican alike, for decades, with Biden playing a critical role. Endless resources have been funneled into the stock markets and the military, while social infrastructure has been dismantled and inequality driven to record highs.
As a member and then chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Biden was one of the principal proponents of the US bombing of Yugoslavia (1999) under Clinton, and the US invasions of Afghanistan (2001) and Iraq (2003) under Bush. He voted for the Patriot Act and the expansion of illegal domestic spying after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, boasting that the legislation was modeled off a bill he had drafted in 1995.
Biden also voted for the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act in 1999, a milestone in the deregulation of the banks, vastly increasing the ability of giant financial institutions to engage in speculation and plunder. In 2005, Biden aggressively campaigned for the overhaul of consumer bankruptcy laws, making it much harder for working class families to escape debt burdens.
As vice president under Obama, Biden oversaw the bailout of the banks in 2008-09 as well as the wars in Libya, Syria and Yemen. This was in addition to the continued occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan and the vast expansion of drone assassinations as an instrument of US foreign policy.
Amidst all of this, nothing was done to prepare for a pandemic, despite repeated warnings from scientists and epidemiologists. The Democrats, no less than the Republicans, are responsible for the destruction of health care infrastructure and the criminal lack of stockpiles of ventilators, face masks and other critical equipment.
Second, Sanders would like everyone to forget what happened in 2016 and after. The channeling of all opposition behind Clinton, the widely despised candidate of Wall Street, provided Trump with the opportunity to posture as the only candidate opposed to the status quo. Sanders played a critical role in this by enthusiastically campaigning for Clinton, as he will now do for Biden.
Following Trump’s election, the Democrats’ initial response was to pledge to collaborate with Trump on key elements of ruling class policy. Obama declared that the contest was an “intramural scrimmage” between two sides on the same team. Sanders himself said that he was “prepared to work with” Trump on economic policy.
And for the past three and a half years, the Democrats have sought to channel all opposition to Trump behind the anti-Russia campaign, declaring that the main threat to the American people was Vladimir Putin.
As for Sanders’ claim that he is going to move the Democratic Party and the Biden campaign in “a more progressive direction,” this is simply an exercise in cover-up—putting lipstick on a pig.
Sanders is urging his followers to continue to vote for him in primaries in order to help him amass delegates for the Democratic Party convention to create “leverage” to “shape the party platform.” Even within the framework of electoral politics, this argument is absurd. What “leverage” would Sanders have given that he has already pledged his unconditional allegiance to Biden and his determination to support him in whatever way possible?
More importantly, there are no significant differences between Sanders’ program and Biden’s. As Sanders was at pains to stress in his endorsement video, the two disagree only “a little.”
Sanders’ subservience to the interests of the ruling class was demonstrated in his vote for the grossly misnamed “CARES Act,” the massive handout to the rich rammed through Congress in late March with a unanimous vote in the Senate. The act provides hundreds of billions of dollars in bailouts to corporations and finances the trillions of dollars that have been handed over to Wall Street.
Having engaged in plunder and thievery on an unprecedented scale, the ruling class is now campaigning for a rapid return to work, a campaign to which Biden recently added his support.
Sanders—along with Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and others—is playing an auxiliary role as powerful factions of the ruling class coalesce behind a Biden campaign.
The Washington Post published an editorial yesterday, “The anti-Trump coalition is forming. The left and right must join,” arguing that now that Biden has obtained the support of Sanders, he should work on winning over “those further right” to join as well. The newspaper counseled Biden not to make too many empty gestures to Sanders supporters in order to “leave space on his right for patriotic Republicans,” including “those who care about a strong national defense.”
Right-wing neo-conservative Trump critic Max Boot published an opinion piece in the Post earlier this week titled “Republicans who don’t like Trump have no excuses: Endorse Biden.” Boot said that he would have voted for Sanders, “but a lot of my fellow former Republicans wouldn’t have. Now that Joe Biden is going to be the Democratic nominee, the choice is easy.”
Boot went on to urge top Republicans who have been critical of Trump’s foreign policy to join in the “coalition,” including: former president George W. Bush; former vice president Dick Cheney; former Trump defense secretary Jim Mattis; and former Trump homeland security secretary H.R. McMaster.
The Democratic Party, which did everything it could to undermine the Sanders campaign as the Vermont senator was winning early caucuses and primaries, is now embracing him. The New York Times notes in an article published yesterday, “The Democratic Establishment Suddenly Loves Bernie Sanders.” It states, “When he was winning primaries, many in the Democratic Party were wary of the Vermont senator. Now, he’s a friend, chess-playing companion and [in the words of Obama] ‘American original.’”
The Democratic Party was in fact never concerned about Sanders. He is a known quantity. After channeling opposition behind Clinton in 2016, he was rewarded with a position in the Democratic Party leadership caucus in the US Senate. Now, he is no doubt angling for a position in an administration led by Biden, or whatever right-wing candidate the Democrats end up choosing.
What has concerned the ruling class, rather, is the social anger of workers and youth that found a temporary and distorted expression in support for the Sanders campaign, under the mistaken belief that he represented opposition to inequality and capitalism.
This social anger has not gone away, whatever Sanders and the Democrats might hope. Amidst the expanding health care, economic and social crisis brought on by the ruling class’ response to the coronavirus pandemic, it must and will find a genuinely socialist and revolutionary form.
Biden was enriching more
family members than just
Hunter
On
January 21, Peter Schweizer’s newest book, Profiles
in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite, will be released.
It should sell well given that pre-sales have already put it at #14 on the
Amazon charts. As a preview of coming attractions, the New York Post published
an extract from the book detailing “How five members of Joe Biden’s
family got rich through his connections.”
According
to Schwiezer, Biden was fibbing when he announced last year, “I never talked
with my son or my brother or anyone else — even distant family — about their
business interests. Period.” The truth is that Biden’s business conversations
not only benefited Hunter, they also benefitted Biden’s son-in-law Howard, his
brothers James and Frank, and his sister Valerie. Loose lips enrich sibs.
James
Biden was a welcome friend in the Obama White House. “Sometimes, James’ White
House visits dovetailed with his overseas business dealings, and his commercial
opportunities flourished during his brother’s tenure as vice president.” For
example, just three weeks after Biden’s longtime friend Kevin Justice,
president of HillStone International, a subsidiary of a huge construction
management firm, visited the White House, HillStone announced that James Biden
was its new Executive Vice President.
No
one cared that Biden had no experience in construction management. What might
have mattered was that, six months later, the firm got a contract to build
100,000 homes in Iraq, plus a $22 million U.S. federal government contract to
manage a State Department project. An executive in the parent company later
told investors it helped to have the vice president’s brother as a partner.
The
book excerpt also tells how Hunter -- a man known for drugs, alcohol, taking up
with his brother’s widow, fathering a child on a stripper, dumping the stripper
and his child, and marrying another woman –made bank in Ukraine thanks to
his father’s connections. It’s a complicated, unsavory story, but the bottom
line is the same as for James: Hunter got an immensely profitable job for which
he was completely unqualified because Biden allowed Hunter to piggyback
off of Biden’s connections.
When
it came to his kids, Biden didn’t stop with Hunter. His daughter, Ashley,
married a doctor, Howard Krein. Howard and his siblings open StartUp Health, an
investment consultancy firm. In 2011, when the firm had just opened, two of the
firm’s executives were invited to meet with Obama and Biden. The next day, this
barely hatched entity hit the big time:
The following day the new company would be
featured at a large health care tech conference being run by the U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and StartUp Health executives
became regular visitors to the White House, attending events in 2011, 2014 and
2015.
How did StartUp Health gain access to the highest
levels of power in Washington? There was nothing particularly unique about the
company, but for this:
The chief medical officer of StartUp Health,
Howard Krein, is married to Joe Biden’s youngest
daughter, Ashley.
For
years after, including his years in the White House, Biden made a point of
promoting the company.
James
also wasn’t the only one of his siblings Biden helped. In March 2009, Biden
went to Costa Rica. The last time a high-ranking American official went to
Costa Rica was in 1997 when Bill Clinton traveled there. Biden’s trip may not
have been a coincidence:
Joe Biden’s trip to Costa Rica came at a
fortuitous time for his brother Frank, who was busy working deals in the
country. Just months after Vice President Biden’s visit, in August, Costa Rica
News announced a new multilateral partnership “to reform Real Estate in Latin
America” between Frank Biden, a developer named Craig Williamson, and the
Guanacaste Country Club, a newly planned resort.
[snip]
As it happened, Joe Biden had been asked by
President Obama to act as the Administration’s point man in Latin America and
the Caribbean.
Frank’s vision for a country club in Costa Rica
received support from the highest levels of the Costa Rican government— despite
his lack of experience in building such developments. He met with the Costa
Rican ministers of education and energy and environment, as well as the
president of the country.
The
same amazing coincidences played out with Biden’s sister Valerie, to whom his
campaigns ended up paying $2.5 million in consulting fees in 2008 alone.
Considering
that the New York Post article is merely a short excerpt
from Peter Schweizer’s Profiles in Corruption, readers can expect to
be exposed to a massive, but readable data dump, explaining how taxpayer funds
and political connections have been funding the lifestyles of the rich and
progressive.
NY Post: ‘Profiles in
Corruption’ Reveals How
the ‘Biden Five’ Made
Millions Off Joe Biden
Connections

Five family members of former Vice
President Joe Biden have scored “sweetheart deals” and “favorable access” thanks
to their connection to the 2020 Democrat White House candidate, reveals the
forthcoming investigative book Profiles in Corruption:
Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite by
five-time New York Times bestselling author and Breitbart News senior
contributor Peter Schweizer.
The
Biden family’s apparent self-enrichment involves no less than five family
members: Joe’s son Hunter, son-in-law Howard, brothers James and Frank, and
sister Valerie.
When
this subject came up in 2019, Biden declared, “I never talked with my son or my
brother or anyone else — even distant family — about their business interests.
Period.”
As
we will see, this is far from the case…
Joe
Biden’s younger brother, James, has been an integral part of the family
political machine from the earliest days when he served as finance chair of
Joe’s 1972 Senate campaign, and the two have remained quite close. After Joe
joined the U.S. Senate, he would bring his brother James along on congressional
delegation trips to places like Ireland, Rome and Africa.
When
Joe became vice president, James was a welcomed guest at the White House,
securing invitations to such important functions as a state dinner in 2011 and
the visit of Pope Francis in 2015. Sometimes, James’ White House visits
dovetailed with his overseas business dealings, and his commercial
opportunities flourished during his brother’s tenure as vice president.
Report: James Biden
Secured $500,000 Loan from
Healthcare Firm Under
Federal
Investigation

Former Vice President
Joe Biden’s younger brother James is being accused of securing a big-money loan
from a healthcare company now under federal investigation and facing
bankruptcy.
James, who has a history of muddled financial dealings,
reportedly used his political ties to convince executives at Americore Health,
a rural healthcare firm, to loan him $650,000. The younger Biden, who worked
for the company between 2017 and 2019, got the personal loan after helping
Americore secure an even bigger bridge loan from a hedge fund run by one of his
associates, Michael Lewitt. According to court documents and former Americore
executives, James Biden convinced the firm’s leadership to sign off on both by
promising he would be able to secure larger investments from Middle Eastern
contacts thanks to his family’s name.
“In 2017 and
2018, James Biden was embarking on a foray into health care investing, telling
potential partners, including at Americore, that his last name could open doors
and that Joe Biden was excited about the public policy implications of their
business models, according to court filings and interviews with James’ former
business contact,” Politico reported on Monday.
A former
Americore executive, Tom Pritchard, told Politico that shortly after James Biden
received the $650,000 personal loan, his day-to-day role in the firm decreased.
“Jim needed to lay low because his brother was possibly running
for president, and he didn’t need any bad press,” Pritchard said.
Meanwhile, without investment incoming, Americore struggled
under already tight finances to make its model for the acquisition of rural
hospitals work. The cause would eventually fail, with the company being forced
to file bankruptcy in December 2019.
Americore’s poor financial shape is only one side of the story.
The firm is also under federal investigation after a lawsuit filed in Tennessee
in July 2019 alleged Americore and its leadership of fraud.
Michael Frey and his business partner, Dr. Mohannad Azzam,
brought the suit claiming James Biden and his associates promised and failed to
line up investors for their rural healthcare enterprise. Instead, the suit
alleges, James Biden urged the two men to borrow $10 million from a hedge fund
manager involved in the deal and then proceeded to pass their idea off as
his own to a conglomerate of Turkish investors.
“The lawsuit
takes direct aim at Biden, painting him as a con artist who uses his ties to
his brother — now a Democratic candidate for president — to lure his victims,”
the Knoxville News Sentinel reported.
According to documents filed with the U.S. District Court, Frey
and his wife developed a business model to take over rural hospitals and retrofit
them to not only offer traditional hospital care, but also drug addiction and
mental health treatment. After incorporating the enterprise as Diverse Medical
Management, they brought on Azzam, “who contracted with nursing homes to
provide medical care for seniors.”
The business model was lucrative enough that by 2017, Frey and
Azzam were actively pitching it to investors and hospitals across the country.
One investor particularly taken with the idea was Americore.
At the
behest of Americore CEO Grant White, Frey and
Azzam were urged to pitch their business plan to rural hospitals in Kentucky.
It was at one such meeting where the two men met James Biden, who identified
himself as a “principal” at Americore.
Not long after their initial encounter, James Biden introduced
the men to Lewitt, a hedge fund manager and well-known “credit strategist.”
Around this time, Americore made plans to buy Diverse Medical for the sum of $7
million.
Despite the deal, Americore quickly fell behind on its scheduled
payments to Frey and Azzam. It was then that James Biden and Lewitt, as
detailed in the lawsuit, hatched a plan to oust White and sell Americore
along with Diverse Medical to a third company called the Platinum Group. Frey
and Azzam appear to have been uncomfortable with the turn the deal took,
especially the notion of removing White. The men, though, went along with the
plan after being told a payout was “imminent.”
“They repeatedly assured (Frey) that investment capital
originating from and flowing through foreign entities was not only certain, but
was imminent,” documents filed by Frey and Azzam’s attorney state.
This is not
the first time that James Biden’s business dealings have raised eyebrows. As
Breitbart News reported in January, James Biden received more than
$1.5 billion in government-backed contracts during the Obama administration.
The revelations were first extensively detailed in Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive
Elite—a new book by Peter Schweizer, senior contributor at Breitbart
News and president of the Government Accountability Institute.
In 2010, fresh off a disastrous attempt at running a Wall Street
hedge fund, James Biden joined HillStone International as executive vice
president. The newly founded company was run by Kevin Justice, a longtime
family friend of the Bidens. Under Justice’s leadership, HillStone
International was setting out to pursue construction and technology projects,
especially those being funded by the U.S. government in Iraq.
Hiring James, who had neither experience in construction nor
international development, seemed to be a big part of the company’s strategy to
secure such projects. When announcing the hire, HillStone touted the political
connections James had built up through helping run his older brother’s
political campaigns.
Six months after James was hired, the company received a
contract, estimated to be worth upwards of $1.5 billion, to build more than
100,000 homes in Iraq. As a minority partner in the firm, James would have been
eligible to split more than $735 million in profits upon the contract’s
completion.
