BOOK - JACK CASHILL'S UNMASKING OBAMA - THE LIFE OF A SOCIOPATH HUCKSTER

Jack Cashill’s Unmasking Obama By Thomas Lifson To my surprise, Jack Cashill's new book, Unmasking Obama, couldn't be more relevant to the political struggle facing us today. In 2020, as in 2008 (and throughout the two Obama presidential terms), the key to political power is what must be called "information warfare" (my term, not Jack's) between the mighty establishment media and the feisty conservative alternative media, which Jack likens to the samizdat underground commentary in the old Soviet Union. It is the process of the unmasking of the phony propaganda peddled by the all-powerful establishment by the resource- and prestige-poor "Lilliputians" (an appropriation of Jonathan Swift's work that the satirist surely would approve of) that is the heart of the book. The narrative history presented in Unmasking Obama is captivating. Jack takes readers along with him as he was both a participant in the warfare and a historian of it, digging up parts of the elusive truth about the real Barack Obama in the face of derision and obstruction that came his way. But Jack is far from the sole hero of the story of the warfare. Because of his literary detective work, proving beyond a reasonable doubt that Bill Ayers wrote the autobiographical book, Dreams from My Father, that first established Obama as a serious intellect, Jack enjoyed access to many of the most formidable truth-tellers about Obama. The book's prologue, in fact, begins with a phone call Jack received in 2011 from a then little-known lawyer named Michael Cohen, acting as a lawyer for Donald Trump. Unmasking Obama takes the reader through the major aspects of the fraudulent picture of Obama that was painted by the media and political establishments and details how the truth was uncovered and often partially suppressed by the retaliatory efforts launched in response. It often resembles detective fiction in the drama of the struggle to get at the truth and the struggle to prevent that. I hesitate to call it beach reading, for it is not in any sense fluff, intended to while away time. But it is vastly entertaining and thought-provoking, and the 218 pages fly by rapidly. Today, exactly the same struggle is underway between the Lilliputians seeking to uncover who really is running the front-man candidacy of Joe Biden and the shadowy movement that is looting and destroying our cities and the coordinated might of the mass media that spends 95% of its time pushing a party line that Trump is an unprecedented threat to human civilization and Joe Biden an amiable and pragmatic centrist. Future historians, if there are any left still interested and able to dispassionately understand how America came to the current point of crisis, will find the story told in Unmasking Obama a very helpful guide. If journalism is the "first draft of history," Unmasking Obama is a well considered second draft, adding crucial perspective and assessment of the consequences of the real-time reports. You don't have to wait that long, though. It went on sale last week, and is well worth your time.

THE DEMOCRAT PARTY AND THEIR PERVES.... No, not just serial rapist Billary Clinton

What Ed Buck's Pseudo-Sexual House of Horrors Says about Collectivism By Grant Baker An old, rich, white man abducting young gay black homeless men, injecting them with illegal substances, and sexually assaulting their unconscious bodies to death may sound like something out of a bad horror film, but this is the true story of political celebrity Ed Buck. Despite multiple instances of his victims found dead at his West Hollywood home, Ed Buck continued his life as a celebrated LGBT activist, high-profile Democratic donor, and beloved Beverly Hills socialite until his arrest in September 2019. Buck's prolonged evasion of justice is not merely an example of the privilege that political donors can purchase; it is a case study in the principles of collective justice held by various neo-Marxist groups that increasingly dominate political and cultural verticals in American society. As a donor and an activist, Ed Buck was a useful player in politics. Over the years, Buck donated upwards of $500,000 to Democratic affiliates and politicians. He served on the steering committee of the Stonewall Democratic Club, a sizable Democratic LGBT outreach group. He ran for public office; was a prominent face in progressive circles; and ran in the same circles as the Democratic party elite, including Hillary Clinton and Adam Schiff. But behind the smiling progressive face lurked a dark, open secret. Ed Buck would use his wealth to lure vulnerable male black drifters and prostitutes to his home, inject them with methamphetamine, and proceed to indulge his drug-fueled racial power fetishes. His first known victim, Gemmel Moore, was found by paramedics in Buck's living room on July 27, 2017. Moore's naked body was recovered in a room filled with drug paraphernalia, pornography still playing on the television. Moore had fallen into Ed Buck's clutches while working as an escort to escape crippling poverty but got more than he bargained for from the Democratic donor. Moore's journal, recovered by investigators, reveals the twisted world of his client: Ed Buck is the one to thank. He gave me my first injection of Chrystal meth. It was very painful but after all the troubles I became addicted to the pain and fetish/fantasy, but slowly my brain, my mind and action change. I am not the same person I was born to be. I felt as if I sold my soul to the devil. Despite the incriminating findings by investigators, Los Angeles County district attorney Jackie Lacey declined to pursue charges. Buck's life continued uninterrupted, aside from being asked to step down from Stonewall's steering committee. Rumors swirled around "Doctor Kevorkian," dismissed or ignored by mainstream media until a second victim surfaced. On January 7, 2019, 55-year-old escort Timothy Dean was found dead at Buck's home, having overdosed on methamphetamine. Again, District Attorney Jackie Lacey refused to press charges against Buck. A coalition of 50 progressive organizations ranging from online forums to the ACLU penned a statement demanding further investigation. Notably absent were GLAAD, the NAACP, and the Stonewall Democratic Club. On September 11, 2019, a third victim survived an overdose, escaped Buck's home, and made it to the nearest hospital, where he ranted and raved about how Buck was trying to murder him. This was too much, even for Buck's allies, sparking his arrest by federal law enforcement on September 17, 2019. The next day, the Stonewall Democratic Club put out a statement that began: "Once again we are horrified by the news of an overdose at Ed Buck's apartment[.]" Despite their opening two words, this was their first condemnation. Buck found himself without friends, his accolades and endorsements stripped from the websites of organizations that had exalted him, and pursued by a federal prosecutor who stepped up to do the job that local prosecutors had refused to do. Additional victims came out of the shadows, describing in gruesome detail the horrors that would be inflicted on them after being promised cash. Particularly ghastly was the story of one victim who had agreed to a small injection only for Buck to empty the syringe into his vein and woke up to a profusely bleeding anal orifice and a third man filming him. Earlier this month, federal prosecutors piled on Buck's charges, charging Buck with the enticement of interstate prostitution, distributing methamphetamine, and two additional related crimes to bring his total charges to nine. The pile-on shows that federal prosecutors are serious and puts the lie to Jackie Lacey's claim that there was not enough evidence to bring charges. The story of Ed Buck is not over yet, but the lesson is clear: the priority of many "Civil Rights" organizations and political power structures is the acquisition of money and power, achieved by signaling to potential donors the protection that can be provided if donors dig deep enough. Organizations like GLAAD and the NAACP may have terrific campaigns marketing themselves as protectors of the powerless but will sell out their most vulnerable constituents to be drugged, raped, and murdered for a few dollars from Ed Buck. The crimes of Ed Buck are heinous, but they are insignificant under the philosophy of collectivism. Ed Buck's victims are mere individuals, and collectivists are unconcerned with such trifles. Collectivism is concerned only with problems perceived to be systematic and solving them with collective action. From climate change to racism to the coronavirus, collectivists pursue only "solutions" which involve government-mandated adherence to a series of edicts stemming from an ideological doctrine. Recycling and hydroxychloroquine are mere niceties of individuals, unhelpful for the global ambitions of Marxist power structures. To collectivists, Ed Buck luring the poor and desperate into his lair is not the problem; inequality is the problem. To collectivists, Ed Buck coercively injecting black men with methamphetamine to satisfy deviant sexual fetishes is not the problem; institutional racism is the problem. To collectivists, Ed Buck raping gay men as they foam at the mouth and run cold is not a problem; heteronormativity is the problem. To these ends, collectivists will gladly reward Ed Buck for his usefulness in pursuing the greater good. That a few nobodies will never see it matters not.

DEMOCRAT-CONTROLLED SANCTUARY CITIES BURNING DOWN - First, give the jobs to 'cheap' labor illegals. Then watch the blacks murder, rob and burn

It has started: Lefty prof says fleeing New Yorkers not a problem because immigrants will replace them By Monica Showalter Blue cities have become socialist hellholes, and not surprisingly, people are fleeing. High taxes, extended lockdowns, massive crime, and rioting and looting have all driven taxpayers from Portland to New York to pack up and leave their cities, heading to friendlier red climes where rule of law is a thing, taxes are low, businesses are easy to start, and public officials show common sense on COVID risks. According to the New York Post: FlatRate Movers said the 100 moves a day it does in the city are very different from previous years. "We used to move a lot of people from Brooklyn to Manhattan or Queens," said David Giampietro, the company's chief administrative officer. "Now it's the mileage. We're not going 5 miles anymore. It's more like 20, 30, 40" to New Jersey, Connecticut and upstate. More than 16,000 New Yorkers changed their address to Connecticut from March through June, the Hartford Courant reported. United Van Lines and Mayflower movers said it had done 1,000 out-of-state moves from New York City starting in March, with 28 percent to Florida and California, and 16 percent to Texas and North Carolina. Writer James Alschuler notes that it's gotten very bad in New York, indeed — so bad that he forecasts that the city won't be recover. His must-read piece is here. It ought to be a point of embarrassment for these blue leftist ruling claques that people are fleeing. People flee the chaos of systemic socialism wherever it is found, sometimes on leaky rafts, sometimes by barreling over walls, and sometimes by UHaul, and all these elites can think is, they're in good company. Like shortages, people voting with their feet is found wherever socialism is found. So here we are, with thousands of productive people fleeing New York, and instead of begging for them to come back, as Andrew Cuomo did in not so serious terms a few weeks ago, the hardest of the hardcore leftists are now saying, "Big deal, there's more where that came from." Here's the view of a leftist professor, explaining why human and capital flight is no problemo in New York City, according to Axios: "What's going to really save New York is immigrants," says Hacker, who has taught political science to many generations of them. While lots of New Yorkers are leaving, "out there in Bangalore and Ukraine and Natal, there are people who want to be New Yorkers" who will gladly take their place, bringing their ambition and brainpower. Hacker welcomes these voluntary New Yorkers: "I only want people in the city who want to be here." This is pretty much the same thing Mayor Bill de Blasio said just a couple weeks ago. According to the New York Post, emphasis mine: I think you'll see a certain number of people who leave and at the appropriate time — after there's a vaccine — will come back. I think you'll see some people decide they want a different kind of lifestyle, I think those people will be replaced by other people coming in," de Blasio said. "I think that pattern will start again over the next couple of years. So no worries about people fleeing; there's always more where they came from. To socialists, people are always just "matter," putty in the hands of socialist central planners, and if some flee, they've got replacement parts, with bottomless resources, so who cares? They can always get more where they came from. Never mind the little detail that the people fleeing are often immigrants themselves — the productive kind. With an arrogant attitude like this, it certainly becomes easy to avoid fiscal reform, end the stranglehold of unions, and drop the choking regulations and lockdowns if there's an endless supply of people, doesn't it? Who needs to adopt a moderate course or reduce the socialist strangleholds on the economy when there's no need to conserve people? This is why the socialists are just going to keep getting crazier. Mickey Kaus forecast that it would happen and was not surprised: THAT DIDN'T TAKE LONG: "'What’s going to really save New York is immigrants,' says [Andrew] Hacker"... While lots of New Yorkers are leaving, 'out there in Bangalore and Ukraine and Natal, there are people who want to be New Yorkers' who will gladly take their place." https://t.co/HcA5S4IIH8 — Mickey Kaus (@kausmickey) August 24, 2020 As usual, he got it right. It's pretty obvious they'll glom onto this narrative more as a means of avoiding any address of their socialist failures. Socialists never ever say they're sorry.

Nolte: Add Kenosha to Growing List of Democrat-Run Cities Engulfed in Violence

After an officer-involved shooting Sunday night, the city of Kenosha, Wisconsin, became the latest in a long line of Democrat-run cities engulfed in violence.

Democrat Mayor John Antaramian ran the city from 1992 to 2008. Obama supporter and presumed Democrat (I can’t find a record anywhere of his official party affiliation) Keith Bosman took his place and served as mayor for two terms until 2016. Antaramian ran and won again in 2016, which makes him the current mayor.

So Kenosha appears to have been run by Democrats going back as far as 1992 — almost 30 years. It is also seen in many ways as a suburb of Chicago. Milwaukee might be 20 miles closer, but Milwaukee’s suburbs are primarily west and north of that city. Kenosha is right on the Wisconsin border and right on a major interstate (I-94) that will get you into downtown Chicago in about an hour, and into the Chicago suburbs even sooner.

Kenosha is a city of about 100,000 that sits right next to Lake Michigan and now, like Portland, Seattle, Milwaukee, Chicago, Minnesota, St. Louis, New York, Oakland, etc., etc., etc., it is ground zero for mindless arson, rioting, and looting.

And all of this broke out before any of the facts are known and with mainstreamed left-wing activists like Shaun King publicly cheering it on.

What we do know is that a black man, Jacob Blake, was apparently shot in the back seven times by a Kenosha police officer. The video that appears to capture the event shows Blake seeming to defy the officers who follow him with guns drawn as he walks around the front of a minivan, opens the door, and starts to either get inside or grab for something.

We don’t know if there was a weapon in the vehicle. We don’t know if the officer who shot Blake feared there was a weapon. Nevertheless, despite these crucial unknowns, Kenosha still experienced a night of mayhem, and if past is prologue, this is only the beginning of the destruction of a small city few had even heard of before last night.

Is this the future in Democrat-run cities?

Are these cities so mismanaged that one mistake or one perceived mistake or even a single act of unconscionable criminality (if that ends up being the case) by a single police officer, means your entire city is going to burn down, will be under siege for months and months by the left-wing terrorists in Antifa and Black Lives Matter?

And then there’s the lingering Ferguson effect… The increase in violent crime that appears to follow these riots — which is what appears to be happening in Chicago and New York right now.

Who wants to live like that?

Who wants to live in a tinderbox where one incident — regardless of the motive behind it — sets off the equivalent of a slow-motion bomb in your own community?

But this is what happens when you elect Democrats.

Wisconsin just fired Republican Gov. Scott Walker and replaced him with Democrat Tom Evers. And what was Evers’ first reaction to the shooting? Did he call for calm? Did he ask for everyone to wait for the  facts? Did he promise to protect citizens and property in Kenosha?

No, he immediately justified the rioting and looting against his own citizens with obscene tweets like this one: “While we do not have all of the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country.”

And this one: “We stand with all those who have and continue to demand justice, equity, and accountability for Black lives in our country[.]”

And this one: “And we stand against excessive use of force and immediate escalation when engaging with Black Wisconsinites.”

Finally, what we have with Kenosha is the Democrats’ violent Socialist Revolution — which was already creeping into residential areas — officially spreading from the big cities and into a place like Kenosha, a quiet little burg, a place where such a thing seemed impossible only a few months ago.

The left-wing terrorists are coming for us.

For all of us.

We know thus because they have said so.

And only a fool would not take them at their word.

If Kenosha is not safe from this organized terrorism, from the Democrat-approved terrorism, from this media-approved terrorism… No one is.

Man Shot by Police in Kenosha Was Wanted for Sexual Assault

Jacob Blake, the 29-year-old black man shot by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Sunday, was wanted on charges of sexual assault, among others, according to the Associated Press.

The AP reported Monday:

Online court records indicate Kenosha County prosecutors charged Blake on July 6 with third-degree sexual assault, trespassing and disorderly conduct in connection with domestic abuse. An arrest warrant was issued for Blake the following day.

The records contain no further details and do not list an attorney for Blake.

Another article from 2015 describes a Jason Blake, aged 24, who had to be subdued by a police dog after he resisted arrest following an armed altercation in a bar.

The Racine County Eye reported:

Jacob Blake, 24, of Racine, was charged Monday in Racine County Circuit Court with one felony count of resisting arrest causing a soft tissue injury to a police officer and one misdemeanor count each of carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, endangering safety-use of a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct. If convicted, he will face up to 8-1/2 years in prison and/or up to $50,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint, Blake and two women were at the Brass Monkey tavern, 1436 Junction Avenue, Saturday when Blake got into an argument with another patron and pulled a black handgun. Blake pointed the gun at the other man, and the magazine fell to the floor. The bartender told Blake to leave, and he did but then pointed the gun through the window at patrons inside the bar before walking south on Junction Avenue.

Police say they encountered a woman walking on Junction who was in the bar with Blake, but she said she didn’t know what happened and that her friends left without her in a silver SUV. A few moments later, officers were advised that a silver SUV was traveling north on Junction with a male subject driving who matched the description of Blake, and they initiated a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Racine Avenue.

Believing the driver was armed, police conducted a high risk traffic stop, the complaint reads, and ordered Blake to put his hands out the window of the vehicle. Instead, Blake exited the SUV and started walking toward officers and ignored commands to get down on the ground. Officers forced Blake to the ground and ordered him to put his hands behind his back. When Blake refused to comply, K9 Dozer was deployed to force the defendant into compliance.

Breitbart News attempted to confirm that the same individual was involved in both altercations. The telephone line of the Racine police department was busy.

Blake was shot several times on Sunday evening after walking away from police officers, who had reportedly attempted to subdue him with a Taser, and reaching inside a vehicle.

Riots, looting, and arson erupted in the aftermath. The National Guard were deployed to Racine on Monday and an 8 p.m. curfew has been imposed on part of Kenosha County.

WATCH: Gunshots Ring Out as Armed Rioters Confront Police in Wisconsin

Armed rioters shut down streets in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Sunday night as the city fell into chaos after a police-involved shooting earlier in the evening.

A large group of rioters – including at least two armed rioters – blocked a police armored car from proceeding down a street. After a standoff, the police began throwing tear gas canisters from the top of the vehicle to disperse the crowd. Moments later, gunshots rang out after one of the protesters appeared to open fire.

WATCH:

The loud bangs sounded distinctively like gunshots and the after the person filming the video shifted to the direction the shots apparently came from, an armed rioter was there with his weapon raised.

The violence sweeping across Kenosha was triggered by an incident earlier in the day where police officers responding to a domestic incident, shot a black man seven times in the back as he walked away from them and attempted to gain entry to a vehicle.

WATCH:

As the AP reports:

In the video posted on social media that appeared to show the shooting from across a street, three officers could be seen shouting and pointing their weapons at the man, who appeared to be Black, as he walked around the front of an SUV parked on the street. As the man opened the driver’s side door and leaned inside, one officer grabbed his shirt from behind and then fired into the vehicle. Seven shots could be heard on the video, though it was unclear if more than one officer fired.

Following the shooting, social media posts showed neighbors gathering in the surrounding streets and hurling comments at police. Some could be heard chanting, ‘No justice, no peace.’

It is not clear from the video whether the man was reaching inside the vehicle for a weapon, and no official word has yet come down from the Kenosha Police Department to say if a weapon was found.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers released a statement criticizing the shooting before knowing the full details.

“While we do not have all of the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country,” Evers said according to the AP. “We stand with all those who have and continue to demand justice, equity, and accountability for Black lives in our country …

“And we stand against excessive use of force and immediate escalation when engaging with Black Wisconsinites. I have said all along that although we must offer our empathy, equally important is our action. In the coming days, we will demand just that of elected officials in our state who have failed to recognize the racism in our state and our country for far too long.”

The scene of the shooting quickly deteriorated into chaos as the neighborhood emptied out and began throwing bricks and other projectiles at arriving officers. One officer was struck in the head and knocked unconscious by what appeared to be a brick.

WATCH:

There were also reports of Molotov cocktails being thrown at the scene as well.

The violence quickly spread and eventually large mobs began looting shops and stores throughout the city.

Later in the night, vehicles at several car dealerships were set ablaze. Including one at a dealership next to a church which displayed a Black Lives Matter sign.

Witnesses claim that the man the police shot was trying to break up a fight between two women. The man is hospitalized in serious condition.

88 Nights of Destruction: Rioters Attempt to Set Police Station Ablaze in Portland

Police stood down as hundreds of protesters gathered at the Portland Police Bureau in Northeast Portland on Sunday night only to declare a riot around 11 p.m. when the awning of the building was set on fire.

It was the 88th night of violence in the city and resulted in the arrest of nearly two dozen people.

The Oregonian and Oregon Live reporting noted police were not as aggressive in responding to rioters as they were late last week and on Saturday:

Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt announced earlier this month that his prosecutors won’t pursue demonstrators accused of interfering with police, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, escape or harassment if the allegations don’t involve “deliberate’’ property damage, theft or force against another person or threats of force, Schmidt said.

Schmidt’s office also won’t prosecute people on a riot accusation alone. Prosecutors will proceed with a riot case only if it includes an accompanying allegation of specific property damage or use of force, he said.

The New York Post also reported Sunday’s event, which was affiliated with the militant Black Lives Matter movement, as police finally declared a riot and moved in to disperse the crowd:

Sunday’s violence appeared to have intensified after growing outrage over police in Wisconsin shooting black driver Jacob Blake several times as he tried to get into his car — with his name a rallying call in the Portland demonstration.

The previous evening had also been declared a riot — with anti-police protesters even bringing out a mock guillotine to taunt the lines of officers, cops said.

Police provided details on the arrests:

Twenty-three people were arrested during the riot at North Precinct. All were booked in the Multnomah County Detention Center on the listed charges.

CBS New York reports the 45 incidents included shootings on a basketball court and park settings which are frequented by kids.

ABC 7 reports the violence included an incident in the Bronx where a gunman ran down “East 152nd Street in the Melrose section,” firing a gun as he went. One of his bullets struck 25-year-old Priscilla Vasquez in the head, killing her.

Vasquez was a mother of three.

Video of the shooting shows the gunmen on the sidewalk, gun in hand:

CBS New York reports the continued violence in de Blasio’s NYC is leading to a realignment in the deployment of NYPD officers. Officers’ shifts are now being altered “to put more cops on the street during the weekend.”

Breitbart News reported an innocent bystander was shot and paralyzed in a Brooklyn shooting that occurred Wednesday, August 19, 2020, in broad daylight. The bystander, Sam Metcalfe, decided join his wife on a walk to get toothpaste so he could hold the umbrella for her in the rain. Shots rang out during the walk and Metcalfe was hit.

The New York Post quoted  Metcalfe’s sister in law, Krista Zigorski, saying, “Almost immediately, [he] couldn’t feel his legs. We now know that the bullet hit his kidney and stopped when it hit his spine.”
