Article: Mexicans are becoming a larger part of Colorado's booming Hispanic population
State demographer Elizabeth Garner says jobs in the service industry,
mining, and tourism is attracting more Hispanics to the Western Slope.
Census officials say Colorado is 20.7 percent Hispanic.
2010, 15.1% identify themselves as Mexican.
2000, 10.5% identify themselves as Mexican.
The Hispanic population's growth has been largely concentrated along the Front Range in the past.

The Internal Revenue Service went after Ted Vidimos, Arvada CO for taxes on income he did not earn because his Social Security number was used by an undocumented immigrant- Ted Vidimos owed taxes on about $40,000 the IRS believed he earned at landscaping company because of
the hiring of the man who stole his identity. Vega-Hernandez did not have a valid Social Security number and Urban Farmer fired him.
Vega-Hernandez returned a week later with a driver's license and Social Security number showing he was Ted Vidimos.
