WILL ARIZONA SURRENDER TO OBAMA'S LA RAZA ASSULT? SB1070 and LA RAZA SUPREMACY

Arizona's Court Battles Will Continue After Today

Just over a week after President Obama decreed his 'DREAM Act' amnesty, the Supreme Court upheld the key provision of Arizona's SB 1070 - maintaining police authority to check immigration status.

This decision comes at a key time and is a major victory for states' rights and the immigration reform movement! Some sections of SB 1070 weren't upheld; however, the justices' opinions give us insight into how these provisions should be modified for the future.

Support FAIR

President Obama's amnesty decree will doubtless provoke new waves of illegal immigration; state and local participation in immigration enforcement will prove essential in protecting our country against this increasing threat.

FAIR has been on the side of state immigration enforcement from the start. With your help, we stood by Arizona and defended SB 1070 in the court of public opinion. FAIR's legal affiliate, IRLI, provided powerful legal arguments for SB 1070 that ultimately prevailed at the Supreme Court. With your help, we ensured Alabama's tough immigration law remained intact when the opposition tried to tear it apart.

With your help, we'll ensure every state has the legal guidance and support to pass immigration measures. Your donation today of any size will help us keep the FAIR fight alive at this important juncture in the immigration debate.

While upholding the defining provision of SB1070 is a major feat, we still have a long road ahead. The ACLU and other open-border groups are already gearing up to file lawsuits to re-challenge the provisions upheld today, claiming they encourage profiling. Although those claims of bias aren't true, they are bankrolled by open-borders groups that are desperate for a legal win. And we'll be working with activists and legislators around the country to bring existing state laws into agreement with today's decision.

The victory today provides us the momentum we need to continue to help states write and pass responsible immigration enforcement laws. Your support for FAIR has made this all possible. And your support in the future will keep us in the legal fight to ensure that immigration enforcement by states and cities has a strong defense. This victory today is as much yours as it is ours. Thank you!
