Lt. Gov. Dan
Forest said Saturday that President Barack Obama was wrong to defer deportation
for some immigrants who entered the United States illegally as children, and
the state attorney general's office was wrong in issuing its opinion that
participants in the deferred-action program are legally eligible to get
driver's licenses in North Carolina, The N&O's Bruce Siceloff reports.
"A
person entering the United States illegally should not be afforded the privileges
reserved for US citizens," Forest said in an email statement released by
his chief of staff, Hal Weatherman. "The President is willfully ignoring
the laws on the books and should be Constitutionally challenged on this point
by our Congress.
While Congress
has not acted, we in North Carolina can and should. We are a sovereign state
and need to stand up and push back when the Feds encroach on our ability to
protect our citizens and enforce our laws. The Attorney General's ruling leaves
open the possibility that the DMV can issue licenses to those individuals who
came to our country and state illegally. I disagree with this action."
The state
Department of Transportation said Friday that it was "carefully
assessing" the opinion issued Thursday by Grayson Kelley.
The Obama
administration's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program delays
deportation for two years for some illegal immigrants. Kelley wrote that the
DACA program allows the young immigrants to remain legally in the country for
two years, and it meets state law requirements for confirming the "legal
presence" in North Carolina of non-residents who apply for driver's
licenses.
Kelley wrote
that neither the DACA program nor his opinion has any effect on the lawful
status of illegal immigrants.
"We
believe that individuals who present documentation demonstrating a grant of
deferred action by the United States are legally present in the United States
and entitled to a drivers license of limited duration, assuming all other
criteria are met," Grayson wrote.
"This
conclusion should not be construed to suggest that individuals granted deferred
status under the DACA program have 'lawful status' in the United States. ...
(Homeland Security) Secretary (Janet) Napolitano's memorandum, in fact,
specifically states: 'This memorandum confers no substantive right, immigration
status or pathway to citizenship.' There exists, however, a recognized legal
distinction in immigration law between 'lawful status' and 'legal
presence.'"

Too Many illegals (NC)
We have posted the latest
monthly issue of the North Carolina Crime Report by Suspected Illegal Aliens on
our website; www.NCFIRE.info. This report covers crimes by suspected illegal
aliens in NC for the month of September.
This month we focused on Cabarrus, Guilford, Johnston, Chatham, Mecklenburg, Durham, Rockingham and Brunswick Counties. It is over 200 pages long and can be viewed online as a pdf file here: http://ncfire.info/september2012.pdf.
The amount of monthly crimes by suspected illegal aliens in NC is staggering. These crimes are not compiled in any statewide database and that tends to make the problem look smaller than it really is. By issuing these reports, our goal is to draw attention to the size and scope of the problem in NC. This is not ALL of the crimes by suspected illegal aliens in NC and we do not report every crime, in every county, each month. There is simply not enough time to enter it all! That is the magnitude of the problem we are facing.
You can view the past 3 years worth of monthly NC crime reports on our "Crime Report Archives" page here: http://ncfire.info/crimearchives.htm
This ongoing illegal alien crime wave against NC citizens has got to stop. It is killing us: financially, emotionally and physically.

Mac Donald: White House doesn't want to enforce immigration

The real motivation for the Justice Department's
lawsuit against Arizona's new immigration statute was the only one not
mentioned in the department's brief: The Obama administration has no intention
of enforcing the immigration laws against the majority of illegal aliens
already in the country.

LA RAZA ‘THE RACE” IS THE MEXICAN FASCIST PARTY of AMERICA.
IT NOW OPERATES OUT OF THE OBAMA WHITE HOUSE UNDER LA RAZA V.P. CECILIA MUNOZ.
OBAMA AND LA RAZA DEM HARRY REID, HAVE HANDED OVER MILLIONS
OF AMERICAN TAX DOLLARS TO THIS MEXICAN FASCIST PARTY TO BUY THE ILLEGALS’
VOTES!
THE
AGENDA IS MEXICAN SUPREMACY!
The National Council of La Raza
(NCLR) is not only one of the wealthiest and most politically powerful militant
organizations in the country, it is also notoriously racist and subversive. The
group's name, "La Raza," means "The Race," by which they
are referring to ethnic Mexicans, or more broadly to "hispanics" or
"latinos." And it is quite clear from their decades of vitriolic
rhetoric — both spoken and written — that the La Raza activists are trying to engender not
only race consciousness amongst hispanic U.S. citizens and Mexican migrants,
but also racial militancy and animosity toward "Gringo America."
*
“Although the nation’s largest Latino advocacy
organization is a nonprofit that must remain nonpartisan because it gets
millions of U.S. federal grant dollars, the group’s president helped lead a
Barack Obama pep rally over the weekend during an annual conference in a
California city close to the Mexican border.”
"The American Southwest seems to be slowly returning to
the jurisdiction of Mexico without firing a single shot." ---Excelsior, the national newspaper of
Mexico… in reality LA RAZA SUPREMACY has now spread
from MEXIFORNIA to all 49 other states. Across the nation the American people
are forced to pay for Mexico’s looting and crime tidal wave.
“PUNISH OUR ENEMIES”… does that mean assault
the legals of Arizona that must fend off the Mexican invasion, occupation,
growing criminal and welfare state, as well as Mex Drug cartels???
OBAMA TELLS ILLEGALS
“PUNISH OUR ENEMIES”
Friends of ALIPAC,
Each day new reports come in from across the nation that our movement is surging and more incumbents, mostly Democrats, are about to fall on Election Day. Obama's approval ratings are falling to new lows as he makes highly inappropriate statements to Spanish language audiences asking illegal alien supporters to help him "punish our enemies."

“Nonpartisan”
La Raza Council Endorses Obama
Although the nation’s largest Latino advocacy organization
is a nonprofit that must remain nonpartisan because it gets millions of U.S.
federal grant dollars, the group’s president helped lead a Barack Obama pep
rally over the weekend during an annual conference in a California city close
to the Mexican border.
The
extremist Mexican group National Council of La Raza clearly endorses Barack
Obama, which is why La Raza President Janet Murguia stood by as Los Angeles’
renowned Chicano mayor (Antonio Villaraigosa) praised the Illinois senator
during the group’s annual convention in San Diego. A former Hillary Clinton
campaign chairman, Villaraigosa assured the crowd of thousands that Obama is Latinos’ best hope for reforming the nation’s
federal immigration policies.
Villaraigosa took the opportunity to further pump up Obama,
telling the crowd at the so-called nonpartisan convention that 12 million
illegal immigrants can be brought "out of the shadows and into the light
and onto the tax rolls by electing Barack Obama." (EXCEPT
THERE ARE 12 MILLION LA RAZA ILLEGALS IN SOUTHERN CA ALONE. TRUE ESTIMATES OF
THE NUMBER OF MEXICAN LOOTERS IN OUR BORDERS IS CLOSER TO 40 MILLION AND
BREEDING LIKE BUNNIES).
If that’s not an endorsement, then what is? The Obama pep
rally is sure to continue through the end of the La Raza convention sometime
today. Such political endorsements are prohibited by nonprofits in the United
States, especially the ones that benefit from millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars
like this group.
As
it is, Americans should be outraged that their tax dollars are going to an
extremist Mexican group that advocates open borders and organized many of the
country’s disruptive pro illegal immigration marches last year. The National
Council of La Raza caters to the radical Chicano movement that says California,
Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and parts of Colorado and Texas belong to Aztlan.
The takeover plan is referred to as the
"reconquista" of the Western U.S. and it features ethnic cleansing of
Americans, Europeans, Africans and Asians once the area is taken back and
converted to Aztlan. While this may all sound a bit
crazy, this organization is quite powerful and its leaders regularly attend
congressional hearings regarding immigration.
A few months ago the group got a $15
million federal earmark to counsel Hispanics about
housing in addition to $1.3 million from the Department of Housing and Urban
Development to conduct “comprehensive” housing counseling for Hispanics,
whether they are in the country legally or not. La Raza also uses U.S. tax dollars to fund projects like a Southern
California elementary school with a curriculum that specializes in bashing
America and promoting the Chicano movement.

OBAMA’S ADMINISTRATION IS IN INFESTED WITH LA RAZA
SUPREMACIST. ERIC HOLDER, OBAMA’S ONLY BLACK CABINET MEMBER, SPENDS MUCH OF HIS
TIME GOING TO LA RAZA RALLIES, HANDING MEXICAN DRUG CARTELS ARMS, AND SUING
AMERICAN STATES ON BEHALF OF OBAMA’S LA RAZA SUPREMACY AGENDA.
Supreme Court Nominee Member Of Mexican La
Raza Group
May 28, 2009
President Barack Obama’s Supreme Court nominee is a
member of an influential extremist Mexican La Raza group that advocates open
borders and driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants.
Judge Sonia
Sotomayor is listed as a member of the National Council of La Raza in an American Bar Association profile discovered by a news organization dedicated
to exposing public corruption. The appeals court judge has already ignited
a firestorm for publicly saying that a jurist’s ethnicity and sex will make a
difference in their judging.
The La Raza membership is a fiery compliment to the
now infamous Berkeley
speech in which Sotomayor said: “I would hope that a wise Latina
woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a
better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”
The National
Council of La Raza describes itself as the largest Latino civil rights and
advocacy organization in the United States, but it actually caters to the
radical Chicano movement that says California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and
parts of Colorado and Texas belong to Aztlan.
The takeover plan is referred to as the "reconquista"
of the Western U.S. and it features ethnic cleansing of Americans, Europeans,
Africans and Asians once the area is taken back and converted to Aztlan. While
this may all sound a bit crazy, this organization is quite powerful and its
leaders regularly attend congressional hearings regarding immigration. The La
Raza council also receives millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars each year.
Obama even violated his own lobbyist ban to hire a top National Council of La Raza
official (Cecilia Munoz) as director of intergovernmental affairs. Munoz
supervised all legislative and advocacy activities on the state and local
levels and was heavily involved in the congressional immigration battles before
the president issued an “ethics waiver” to make her part of his administration.
In return, the La Raza council has strongly
supported Obama while never the less pressuring him to do more for the race.
The group was quick to issue a press release
lauding the president’s “historic appointment” of Sotomayor to the nation’s
highest court, calling it a “monumental day for Latinos.” No mention of the
judge’s membership in the group, however.

THE LA RAZA PRESIDENT
“But
far more significant was the President's trip to the National Council of La
Raza in Washington yesterday where the President spoke on the need for Hispanic
empowerment and the need to pass comprehensive immigration reform.”
Obama Courts Radical La Raza Group
A
few weeks ago I told you that the Obama
administration has nearly tripled the amount of taxpayer funds given to the
radical Mexican separatist group the National Council of La Raza (NLCR). Not
coincidentally, this increased generosity commenced after Obama tapped one of
NCLR’s former top officials (Cecilia Munoz) to serve as his Director of
Intergovernmental Affairs.
Well,
following on that story, President Obama delivered a high-profile speech to
NCLR this week, letting the radicals know he plans on giving more to them than
just cash. Now, to be fair, this organization has for a long time had friends
in high places in both political parties and enough pull to secure speeches
from such political heavyweights as Governor Rick Perry (R-TX).
The
Chicago Sun-Times has the full transcript of Obama’s speech. However, I thought
I would share with you a few of the key excerpts and headlines:
- Obama noted the
influence of the NCLR within his administration.
It is good to be back with
NCLR. It is good to see all of you. Right off the bat, I should thank you
because I have poached quite a few of your alumni to work in my administration.
- Obama promised to
complete his mission to pass the Dream Act, another of his “stealth
amnesty” initiatives that would provide permanent residency to illegal alien
high school graduates as long as they go to college or join the military:
I
promised you I would work tirelessly to fix our broken immigration system and
make the DREAM Act a reality. And two months ago…I went down to the border of
El Paso to reiterate…my vision for an immigration system that holds true to our
values and our heritage, and meets our economic and security needs. And I
argued this wasn't just the moral thing to do, it was an economic imperative.
- Obama stated that he is
very tempted to “bypass Congress and change the laws on [his] own”:
Now,
I swore an oath to uphold the laws on the books, but that doesn't mean I don't
know very well the real pain and heartbreak that deportations cause. I share
your concerns and I understand them. And I promise you, we are responding to
your concerns and working every day to make sure we are enforcing flawed laws
in the most humane and best possible way. Now, I know some people want me to
bypass Congress and change the laws on my own. And believe me, right now
dealing with Congress…
[The
audience began to chant: “Yes, you can! Yes, you can! Yes, you can! Yes, you
can! Yes, you can!”]
Believe
me, believe me, the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting.
[Actually,
Obama is being modest here. As I’ve pointed out previously, Obama has already
bypassed Congress and enacted stealth amnesty by shutting down deportation
proceedings against illegal aliens, including violent criminals. Read more here.]
- Obama made a campaign
appeal for himself and for Democrats:
But
here's the only thing you should know. The Democrats and your President are
with you. Don't get confused about that. Remember who it is that we need to
move in order to actually change the laws. [This is a smart political ploy says political strategist
Douglas Schoen in an opinion column published on FoxNews.com.]
Obama
closed, as politicians often do in speeches of this nature, by recounting the
contributions of immigrants to our country: “This country has always been made
stronger by our immigrants. That [sic] what makes America special. We attract
talented, dynamic, optimistic people who are continually refreshing our economy
and our spirit.”
No
one would dispute the wonderful contributions of immigrants who come here
legally for a better life. But here’s the thing. Obama is talking to the wrong
group. The National Council of La Raza (The Race) is not a collection of
“dynamic, optimistic people” who have an interest in “refreshing” the American
spirit!
As
I mentioned a few weeks ago, but it bears repeating, the NCLR is a radical
racialist group — too many members have absolutely no respect for the United
States, most especially not for our immigration laws! (This was evident when
the NCLR crowd urged Obama to violate the Constitution during his speech and
unilaterally grant amnesty.)
Moreover,
this is the same organization that supports “radical Chicano” groups that seek
to conquer the American Southwest by force or by ballot box and return it to
Mexico. (Here’s our special report that makes this point.)
Do
these seem like the type of immigrants who want to seek the American dream?
No
matter the reason why Obama is pushing his illegal immigration strategy –
whether it’s a deep-seated belief or a ploy to attract the Hispanic vote – his
polices are downright dangerous and flagrantly unconstitutional. Judicial Watch
will continue to oppose them at every turn.
Until
next week…

What Obama’s Quick Illegal Immigrant Fix Ignores
Posted By Bruce Thornton On June 19, 2012 @ 12:23 am In Daily Mailer,FrontPage
America’s
ward-heeler-in-chief just bought some votes with the policy equivalent of a keg
of beer and a slab of bacon. Obama’s memorandum to Homeland Security head
Napolitano to stop the deportation of illegal aliens brought here as children
and granting them work permits bypassed Congress, that branch of government our
quaint Constitution makes responsible for such policy. Obama said so himself
last year when he reminded people that he couldn’t “change the law
unilaterally” and “We have to pass bills through the legislature and then I can
sign it.” But the need to stanch the bleeding from a week of economic bad news
for his reelection campaign has given the president Constitutional amnesia. If
Obama had been sincerely interested in crafting a legal, bipartisan, permanent
solution to this problem, he could have negotiated with Florida Republican
Senator Marco Rubio, who has crafted a more sensible solution than last year’s
Dream Act, and worked through Congress. But the
need to throw some goodies to Latino voters in several swing states critical
for his own reelection was more important than actually governing according to
the Constitution.
Obama’s accompanying
rationale for this decision, moreover, was full of unexamined assumptions and
sentiments. “These are young people who study in our schools, they play in our
neighborhoods, they’re friends with our kids, they pledge allegiance to our
flag. They are Americans in their heart, in their minds, in every single way
but one: on paper,” Obama said. They “face the threat of deportation to a
country that [they] know nothing about, with a language that [they] may not
even speak.” They “for all intents and purposes, are Americans. They’ve been
raised as Americans, understand themselves to be part of this country.” All
those statements are loaded with begged questions that point to the bigger
problem we have with immigration both legal and illegal––the question of
national identity and national loyalty.
No doubt, many of these
young immigrants match Obama’s description. I’d bet that those who have served
in the military do. But many do not,
particularly the university students usually showcased by their champions. From
my years of experience as a teacher in a university about half Hispanic,
hundreds of them illegal immigrants mostly from Mexico, I know that many see
themselves as Mexican or Chicano first, and Americans second, if at all. They travel to Mexico and speak Spanish, and have imbibed an
anti-Americanism that casts them as victims of American imperialism and racism
who deserve reparations for those historical crimes.
These attitudes are
institutionalized in the courses they take from ethnic studies departments and
in the organizations they join. This homeland was lost to the “brutal ‘gringo’
invasion,” and the goal of the “Plan” is the
reconquest” of that lost homeland, and restitution for that historical
crime. The racist drift of all this is apparent in the motto of MEChA: “For the
Race everything, outside the Race, nothing.” “Many universities, for example,
have chapters of a group called MEChA, the “National Chicano Student Movement
of Aztlán,” the mythical land allegedly stolen by Americans in the Mexican War.
This fantasy history claims that the whole Southwest was once Aztlán, the
homeland of La Raza, the “bronze” race, who are “the Chicano inhabitants and
civilizers of the northern land of Aztlán from whence came our forefathers,” as
the “Plan of Aztlán” puts it.
Obviously, MEChA scorns
assimilation to American culture and identity, promoting instead a Mexican
identity called “Chicanismo,” which “involves a personal decision to reject
assimilation and work towards the preservation of our cultural heritage” and
the recovery of a “bronze culture for a bronze people.” Thus MEChA “is committed to ending the cultural tyranny
suffered at the hands of institutional and systematic discrimination that holds
our Gente [people] captive.” If you need further evidence that this ideology is
hostile to American culture and identity, consider a poem published at California
State University Fresno in La Voz de
Aztlán, a state-subsidized campus
newspaper that functions as MEChA’s house organ: “America the land robbed by
the white savage / the land of the biggest genocide / the home of intolerance /
the place where dreams come to die / the place of greed and slavery,” and so on
for another two dozen lines.

FIFTEEN
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT LA RAZA “THE RACE” and the LA RAZA DEMS’ PUSH TO
EXPAND MEX SUPREMACY TO BUY THE
ILLEGALS’ VOTES:
by Michelle Malkin
Only in America could critics of a group called "The
Race" be labeled racists. Such is the triumph of left-wing identity
chauvinists, whose aggressive activists and supine abettors have succeeded in
redefining all opposition as "hate."
Both Barack Obama and
John McCain will speak this week in San Diego at the annual conference of the
National Council of La Raza, the Latino organization whose name is Spanish for,
yes, "The Race." Can you imagine Obama and McCain paying homage
to a group of white people who called themselves that? No matter. The
presidential candidates and the media have legitimized "The Race" as
a mainstream ethnic lobbying group and marginalized its critics as intolerant
bigots. The unvarnished truth is that the group is a radical ethnic nationalist
outfit that abuses your tax dollars and milks PC politics to undermine our
sovereignty.
*
Here are 15 things you should know about "The
Race":
*
15. "The Race" supports
driver's licenses for illegal aliens.
*
14."The Race" demands in-state tuition discounts
for illegal alien students that are not available to law-abiding U.S. citizens
and law-abiding legal immigrants.
*
13. "The Race" vehemently opposes cooperative
immigration enforcement efforts between local, state and federal authorities.
*
12. "The Race" opposes a secure fence on the
southern border.
*
11. "The Race" joined the American-Arab
Anti-Discrimination Committee in a failed lawsuit attempt to prevent the feds
from entering immigration information into a key national crime database -- and
to prevent local police officers from accessing the data.
*
10. "The Race" opposed the state of Oklahoma's
tough immigration-enforcement-first laws, which cut off welfare to illegal
aliens, put teeth in employer sanctions and strengthened local-federal
cooperation and information sharing.
*
9. "The Race" joined other open-borders,
anti-assimilationists and sued to prevent Proposition 227, California's
bilingual education reform ballot initiative, from becoming law.
*
8. "The Race" bitterly protested common-sense
voter ID provisions as an "absolute disgrace."
*
7. "The Race" has consistently opposed post-9/11
national security measures at every turn.
*
6. Former "Race" president Raul Yzaguirre, Hillary
Clinton's Hispanic outreach adviser, said this: "U.S. English is to
Hispanics as the Ku Klux Klan is to blacks." He was referring to U.S.
English, the nation's oldest, largest citizens' action group dedicated to
preserving the unifying role of the English language in the United States.
"The Race" also pioneered Orwellian open-borders Newspeak and advised
the Mexican government on how to lobby for illegal alien amnesty while avoiding
the terms "illegal" and "amnesty."
*
5. "The Race" gives mainstream cover to a
poisonous subset of ideological satellites, led by Movimiento Estudiantil
Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA). The late GOP
Rep. Charlie Norwood rightly characterized the organization as "a radical
racist group … one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has
permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a
racist nation out of the American West."
*
4. "The Race" is currently leading a smear
campaign against staunch immigration enforcement leaders and has called for TV
and cable news networks to keep immigration enforcement proponents off the
airwaves -- in addition to pushing for Fairness Doctrine policies to shut up
their foes. The New York Times reported that current "Race" president
Janet Murguia believes "hate speech" should "not be tolerated,
even if such censorship were a violation of First Amendment rights."
*
3. "The Race" sponsors militant ethnic nationalist
charter schools subsidized by your public tax dollars (at least $8 million in
federal education grants). The schools include Aztlan Academy in Tucson, Ariz.,
the Mexicayotl Academy in Nogales, Ariz., Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School
in St. Paul, Minn., and La Academia Semillas del Pueblo in Los Angeles, whose
principal inveighed: "We don't want to drink from a White water fountain,
we have our own wells and our natural reservoirs and our way of collecting rain
in our aqueducts. We don't need a White water fountain … ultimately the White
way, the American way, the neo liberal, capitalist way of life will eventually
lead to our own destruction."
*
2. "The Race" has perfected the art of the PC
shakedown at taxpayer expense, pushing relentlessly to lower home loan
standards for Hispanic borrowers, reaping millions in federal "mortgage
counseling" grants, seeking special multimillion-dollar earmarks and
partnering with banks that do business with illegal aliens.
*
1. "The Race" thrives on ethnic supremacy -- and
the elite sheeple's unwillingness to call it what it is. As historian Victor
Davis Hanson observes: "[The] organization's very nomenclature 'The
National Council of La Raza' is hate speech to the core. Despite all the
contortions of the group, Raza (as its Latin cognate suggests) reflects the
meaning of 'race' in Spanish, not 'the people' -- and that's precisely why we
don't hear of something like 'The National Council of the People,' which would
not confer the buzz notion of ethnic, racial and tribal chauvinism."
*
The fringe is the center. The center is the fringe. Viva La
Raza.
