Heritage Foundation Pres. Jim DeMint said that that unlawful immigrant
households will receive $3 in benefits for every $1 paid into taxes under the
current immigration bill being debated by Congress:
"Our expert, Robert Rector, is one of the nation's leading authorities
on government social programs and he has calculated that the average unlawful
immigrant household will receive three dollars in benefits for every
one dollar paid under this amnesty provision.
