(AP) — The Federal Reserve foresees
unemployment remaining high into 2015, suggesting it will keep short-term
interest rates near record lows at least until then.

THE BANKSTER HAVE ALL BUT DESTROYED THE ASSETS OF THE AMERICAN MIDDLE CLASS AS INVESTED IN THEIR HOME, AND THEN HANDED THE TAX BILLS TO COVER THEIR CRIMES, BAILOUTS AND BONUSES!
The top tenth of one percent of earners feel the tax system unfairly expropriates too large a portion of their incomes, bloated though those after-tax incomes are with special tax advantages. Those in the top 1 percent who have not made it to the top 0.1 percent say it is unfair that they should have to charter jets while the 0.1 percent own their jets: Hillary Clinton, a jet-charterer, feels “broke” because jet-owning funders of her campaign are richer.
Open immigration, which also keeps the wages of unskilled workers down and relieves Silicon Valley employers of the cost of training American programmers and such, has a similar effect: it is good if you have a large lawn, not so good if you are trying to make a living mowing lawns.

The Great
Recession should have put the victim-blaming theory of poverty to rest. In the
space of only a few months, millions of people entered the ranks of the
officially poor—not only laid-off blue-collar workers, but also downsized tech
workers, managers, lawyers, and other once-comfortable professionals. No one
could accuse these “nouveau poor” Americans of having made bad choices or bad
lifestyle decisions. They were educated, hardworking, and ambitious, and now
they were also poor—applying for food stamps, showing up in shelters, lining up
for entry-level jobs in retail. This would have been the moment for the pundits
to finally admit the truth: Poverty is not a character failing or a lack of
motivation. Poverty is a shortage of money.

Foundation: Wealth "Inequality" Will Continue to Worsen

In another so-called research study about wealth inequality, the liberal think-tank Sage Foundation said in June that while the super-rich have fully recovered from the Great Recession, the vast majority of Americans have not. Specifically their report shows that median household net worth “was $32,000 lower in 2013 than it was 10 years earlier,” a decline of 36 percent. It concluded:
These wealth losses, however, were not distributed equally.… Wealth
inequality increased significantly from 2003 through 2013; by some metrics
inequality roughly doubled.

Income inequality grows
four times faster under Obama than Bush
The study noted that, in the aftermath of the Great
Depression, the US undertook policies “during the New Deal [that] permanently
reduced income concentration until the 1970s.” In contrast, the study noted a
striking absence of any measures to reign in social inequality in the present
crisis. Far from it, the Obama administrations’ bank bailouts, austerity
program and wage-cutting policies have vastly expanded the prevalence of social
inequality.
