It’s not as if President Trump and the Attorney General haven’t been telegraphing their punches when it comes to questions of illegal immigration. But all the warnings in the world don’t seem to be helping illegal aliens – particularly those who have run into additional trouble with the law – avoid capture and deportation in record numbers. That happened again this week as ICE pulled off another highly successful operation in the Garden State. New Jersey residents now have more than one hundred fewer illegal aliens roaming around, most of them with serious criminal records.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency announced Tuesday the arrest of 101 illegal immigrants, targeting criminal aliens, illegal re-entrants, and immigration violators, and including immigrants convicted of drug- and child-pornography-related offenses.
The arrests were the product of a five-day operation in New Jersey, spearheaded by ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). Among those arrested, 88 percent were convicted criminals, and 80 percent had prior felony convictions.
ICE put out their own press release with the full details of those who are soon to be either leaving for home or heading to prison, and they include plenty of gang members.
These individuals were arrested in the following counties in New Jersey: Atlantic (2), Bergen (6), Burlington (7), Camden (11), Cumberland (3), Essex (14), Hudson (15), Mercer (6), Middlesex (11), Monmouth (3), Morris (1), Passaic (9), Somerset (4), and Union (6) and the following counties in New York: Kings(1), New York (1), and Suffolk (1). They range from age 20 to 71 years old and all were previously convicted of a variety of offenses. Some of the convictions included sexual assault on a minor, child abuse, possession of narcotics, distribution of narcotics, robbery, trespassing, DUI, fraud, possession of child pornography, domestic violence, battery, receiving stolen property, theft, possession of a weapon, burglary, larceny, aggravated assault, aggravated assault on law enforcement, assault by auto, shoplifting, invasion of privacy-recording sexual act without consent, resisting arrest, endangering the welfare of a child, and illegal reentry.
Rape, assault, drug dealing, child pornography… they really ran the full gamut. Other operations taking place at the same time, particularly in Baltimore, targeted members of MS-13 and other gangs, removing drugs and illegal weapons from circulation. During comments delivered in Charm City, Jeff Sessions reminded everyone that sanctuary city policies were making law abiding citizens less safe and making it more dangerous for immigration officials to do their jobs. But that wasn’t going to slow them down.
There was also a less than subtle reminder that even illegal aliens who haven’t been convicted of any additional crimes would not be “safe” from detention and deportation if they were caught up in a sweep. We’ve arrested more than 300,000 illegal aliens just in 2017 and enforcement efforts are only going to increase if new funding requests for ICE and the Border Patrol are approved.
With so much dismal news eating up the front pages these days, it’s nice to see some positive progress on at least one front.

SHOCKING IMAGES OF CARTELS ON U.S. BORDERS:
“Heroin is not produced in the United States. Every gram of heroin present in the United States provides unequivocal evidence of a failure of border security because every gram of heroin was smuggled into the United States. Indeed, this is precisely a point that Attorney General Jeff Sessions made during his appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on October 18, 2017 when he again raised the need to secure the U.S./Mexican border to protect American lives.” Michael Cutler …..FrontPageMag.com

Attorney General Jeff Sessions blasts Trump’s DACA sell out…. Will Sessions move to impeach the Swamp Keeper who hired 70 illegals to work “cheap” at Mar Lago?

JEFF SESSION’S LONG BATTLE FOR THE AMERICAN WORKER  He is the only one in the country that has consistently spoken out for the AMERICAN WORKER!
Sessions should keep dragging Trump out of his amnesty closet and build the wall against NARCOMEX!

JUDICIAL WATCH:

“The greatest criminal threat to the daily lives of American citizens are the Mexican drug cartels.”

“Mexican drug cartels are the “other” terrorist threat to America. Militant Islamists have the goal of destroying the United States. Mexican drug cartels are now accomplishing that mission – from within, every day, in virtually every community across this country.” JUDICIALWATCH

“Mexican authorities have arrested the former mayor of a rural community in the border state of Coahuila in connection with the kidnapping, murder and incineration of hundreds of victims through a network of ovens at the hands of the Los Zetas cartel. The arrest comes after Breitbart Texas exposed not only the horrors of the mass extermination, but also the cover-up and complicity of the Mexican government.”

THE MEXICAN DRUG CARTELS OPERATING IN AMERICA’S OPEN BORDERS

Overall, in the 2017 Fiscal Year, officials revealed that a record-breaking 455,000 pounds plus of drugs had already been seized. In 2016, that number amounted to 443,000 pounds. The 2017 haul is worth an estimated $6.1 billion – BREITBART – JEFF SESSION’S DRUG BUST ON SAN DIEGO

Sessions’ First Year: A Breath of Fresh Air After Years of Obama Scandals

A year ago the Department of Justice was finishing up eight long years of a scandal-plagued term under Attorneys General Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch, as President Obama’s political arm. A year later, the department has done a complete 180 degree turn back to upholding – instead of undermining – the rule of law, and restoring law and order.
The last thing we remember about the Obama Justice Department was the unseemly, secret meeting between General Lynch and former President Bill Clinton while his wife Hillary, then running for President, was under criminal investigation by the FBI.  Today, DOJ has back on track; fixed on its mission to keep the public safe and pursue justice.
For conservatives especially, the Department of Justice under the leadership of Jeff Sessions, has been a breath of fresh air.
On President Trump’s signature issue – immigration – there are several success stories. DOJ has made it clear it won’t put up with the illegal practices of so-called “sanctuary cities” by threatening to withhold federal money from them. The city of Miami got the picture right away and agreed to cooperate with the department.
At the President’s direction over 100 immigration judges were dispatched to detention centers around the country and along the U.S.-Mexico border. General Sessions also took the unprecedented step of directing all 94 U.S. Attorneys’ offices to create a “Border Security Coordinator” position as a nod toward taking the issue of illegal immigration seriously.
These and other actions have produced tangible results, as illegal border crossings are down and arrests along the southern border rose sharply.
The department’s lawyers fought hard in court over months, undeterred by activist judges, to finally win a victory for the President’s anti-terrorism travel restrictions at the Supreme Court.
In a stunning reversal from the Obama years, the Justice Department moved forcefully to protect religious freedom with clear and specific communiqué to all federal departments and agencies, backed up by guidance that explains federal law protections.  Under Holder and Lynch, DOJ undermined people of faith and treated them as second-class citizens.
Just last week Solicitor General Noel Francisco, representing the Justice Department and the Trump administration, advocated before the Supreme Court on behalf of Masterpiece Cakeshop artist Jack Phillips in his battle for religious freedom.
Also just last week, in a victory for the Pro-Life movement, the department opened a federal investigation into the abhorrent practices of Planned Parenthood for its harvesting and sale of aborted baby organs and body parts. The Obama Justice Department completely ignored this travesty visited on the most innocent and vulnerable among us.
General Sessions also took effective steps to repair and restore the strained relationship between the Justice Department and local law enforcement; another embarrassing legacy of the Obama years.  He rolled back a controversial program established under Obama that essentially had DOJ micromanaging local police departments.  Instead he directed this program to provide training and assistance to fight violent crime, instead of combating local police.
Sessions also extended the department’s hand to local faith and community leaders who have successfully combated gun violence in the inner-cities.  Such efforts are far more effective than gun control, of which the city of Chicago makes a mockery on a daily basis.
Likewise he has gone on offense against murderous gangs such as MS-13, designating the gang as a highest priority for DOJ’s Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces.  This step came after he personally went to El Salvador, where the gang is based, and met with law enforcement officials there to discuss how to eradicate these thugs.
It's been an eventful year at the Department of Justice and the road hasn’t always been smooth.  But the accomplishments in just the past 12 months bode well for the Trump administration going forward, with Obama, Holder, Lynch and all their failures fading quickly in the rear view mirror.                                                                                     Ken Blackwell was a Domestic Policy Advisor to the Trump Presidential Transition Team.
