Press mocks the murder of Mollie Tibbetts soon as it turns into an illegal alien story
After whipping up such a brouhaha about illegal immigrants being separated from their children as a result of their lawbreaking, the press was confronted with new story about illegals to report and comment upon, and it didn't quite tug on the heartstrings the way the crying toddlers narrative did.
A body believed to be that of Mollie Tibbetts, a 20-year-old student at the University of Iowa who vanished a month ago after going for a jog, was found on Tuesday morning, investigators announced. A 24-year-old undocumented immigrant has been charged with first-degree murder in the killing.
The body was found in a field southeast of Brooklyn, Iowa. Ms. Tibbetts was last seen nearby on July 18, Rick Rahn, a special agent of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, said at a news conference.
“The identity has not been confirmed, however, we believe it to be the body of Mollie Tibbetts,” Mr. Rahn said. The authorities did not say what the specific cause of death was; an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
The man charged in the killing is Cristhian Bahena Rivera, who lives in rural Poweshiek County, where the killing happened. He had lived in the area for four to seven years, Mr. Rahn said. Mr. Rivera’s Facebook page indicated he was from Mexico, a contention that President Trump alluded to during a rally Tuesday evening in West Virginia.
So instead of photoshopped Time magazine covers, howls from the on-screen punditry, and big news space doled out for a weepy open letter from Laura Bush pleading the case for illegals, we get this callous response to this actual murder from the press:

As one respondent on Twitter noted: Uhhh, that's not the story, pal. See Twitchy'scuration of choice tweets, signaling how well that went over.
We're talking about a murder here, and that of a very innocent young person, someone who never so much as gave a middle finger nor threw a water bottle at a cop. Yet the press is playing it up in a disgusting manner, mocking it, politicizing it, belittling it, all because they have bottomless contempt for the people who consider this issue important, which happens to include their viewers.
Obviously, they don't want to cover this story (or see to it that Mollie receives justice) because they don't like this narrative. To them, illegals are all valedictorians and war heroes, not cold-blooded killers whose contribution to 'diversity' is importing the typical doings of Mexico into the U.S. heartland. That's what this story is really about, and they resent that reality, or the weight that U.S. viewers put on this issue, which clearly outweighs the shenanigans of swamp city.
They could ignore it, of course. They could cover it objectively, which, as the NYT to its credit so far, has done. But right off the bat, we see that much of their main interest is mockery, not directly at Mollie, but against the concern we ordinary Americans have for protecting someone like Mollie.
It's us they despise. Us, their viewers. These acts show how much they really hate us.

On Tuesday, police officials revealed that Tibbetts’ body was found in a cornfield in the rural area of Brooklyn, Iowa, where she was last seen jogging on July 18.
Illegal alien Christian Bahena-Rivera, a 24-year-old from Mexico, has been charged with first-degree murder in her death after police say he admitted to confronting and chasing down Tibbetts.
Durden, who lost her son Dominic when he was murdered by an illegal alien, asked online: “How many more will it take for all of America to wake up and get behind [President Trump] to secure our borders and clean up our country.”
Angel Mom Mary Ann Mendoza — whose 32-year-old police officer son Brandon Mendoza was killed by a drunk illegal alien who was driving the wrong way down a highway in Mesa, Arizona — asked: “What’s it going to take for our politicians to care about Americans safety?”
Bahena-Rivera, according to the illegal alien’s story, said he needed to get away from her or she would call the police. Tibbetts then started running and that’s when Rivera said he chased her down.
Police say Bahena-Rivera told law enforcement that after this, he blacked out and eventually Tibbetts’ body was placed in a cornfield in the Brooklyn area. Police also said they first came into contact with the illegal alien Monday.

Police officials said that security camera footage was “critical” in charging the illegal alien with the murder of Tibbetts.
As Breitbart News reported, nearly all criminal foreign nationals in federal prisons are from Mexico, Central America, and South America. Every year, American taxpayers are forced to subsidize the cost of criminal foreign nationals, costing $1.4 billion every year.

Tom Cotton: Mollie Tibbetts ‘Would Be Alive’ If Immigration Laws were ‘Seriously’ Enforced
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) says 20-year-old college student Mollie Tibbetts would still “be alive” if the United States’ immigration laws were “seriously” enforced.
Law enforcement announced on Tuesday that Tibbetts’ body was found in a cornfield in her rural hometown of Brooklyn, Iowa after she was last seen jogging on July 18.

Cotton, a staunch opponent of illegal immigration, said he was praying for the Tibbetts’ family and blamed decades of lax enforcement of immigration laws for the death of the young woman.
“Prayers for Tibbetts family & all who knew & loved Mollie,” Cotton wrote online. “Lots of questions—where did this illegal alien work? what was his work status—but one thing is sure: Mollie would be alive if our government had taken immigration enforcement seriously years ago.”
The illegal alien, charged with first-degree murder, has been living in the U.S. for four to seven years.
“On Aug. 21, ICE lodged a detainer with the Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office on Christian Bahena-Rivera, 24, an illegal alien from Mexico, after he was arrested on murder charges,” Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials said in a statement to Breitbart News.

According to investigators, Rivera watched Tibbetts while she was running. After circling around multiple times watching her, Rivera interfaced with Tibbetts and ran along side her. When she told him to leave her alone and pulled out her phone call the police, Rivera says she took off. He chased her, says he "blacked out," and then took her body to the location where she was found yesterday by law enforcement authorities. After an interview, Rivera led law enforcement to her body in a corn field. Rivera "kept to himself" in the community and was working in the area illegally.
Investigators came across security cameras -- able to identify vehicle that belonged to Mr. Rivera. Black Malibu. Able to track his pattern and routes. Police found Mollie running on this video. Able to determine he was one of last to see Mollie.
Interview with Mr. Rivera today, said he sees Mollie running, approached her, and he ran alongside of her and behind her. Mollie grabbed phone said she would call police, he chased her down, then he says he blacks out and comes to an intersection where he placed Mollie.
