Well, it’s been echoing here this week after watching Elizabeth Warren, a shameless opportunist, exploit traumatized kids languishing along our southern border in order to take another bite from the anti-Trump apple.
While the ruthless slaying of 20-year-old Iowa coed Mollie Tibbetts by an allegedly illegal immigrant was forcing horrified Americans to again contemplate the importance of vetting who we allow into this country, as Kate Steinle’s killing did three summers ago, our ambitious senator rode the coattails of the tragedy to resume her badmouthing of the White House.
“I’m sorry for the family,” she condescendingly allowed before immediately transitioning to a mawkish account of pathos at our border.
“I went down and saw where children had been taken away from their mothers,” she said. “We need immigration laws that focus on people who pose a real threat; I don’t think mamas and babies are the place that we should be spending our resources. Separating a mama from her baby does not make this country safer.”
That begs a question: Senator, what part of “illegal” don’t you understand?

Agriculture Lobbyists Are Once Again Standing in the Way of E-Verify

Shortly after the bill’s introduction, the deal was unceremoniously scuttled by several powerful California-based agricultural interest groups who decided they’d rather just keep things as they are—even at the expense of American workers nationally. Led by the Western Growers Association and California Farm Bureau Federation, these agricultural employers made clear that they would rather stick with a system that allows them to violate immigration and labor laws with impunity than accept a generous, industry-friendly guest worker program that imposes minimal requirements. Western Growers’ CEO Tom Nassif announced in a victory statement that his group blocked a House vote on the Ag and Legal Workforce Act before Congress adjourned for the August recess.

He requires bilingual teachers and books.
He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.
If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI.
Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at (our) taxpayer's expense.
He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.
Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.
He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.
Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after Paying their bills and his.
The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.
Cheap labor? YEAH RIGHT! Wake up people!

Border Agent Explains Why ‘Walls Do Work’

“As a border patrol agent, I can tell you: walls do work,” a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) attests, citing the success of barriers built on the San Diego border, in a CBP video.
In a video explaining why borders walls are an essential component of border security, the agent recounts how the institution of border walls in San Diego has resulted in a 87 percent reduction in annual apprehensions of illegal aliens – from 560,000 to 68,000:
The agent also explains how border security measures, such as border walls, have benefitted the environment and also transformed a “lawless wasteland” into thriving communities:
“In areas where we constructed barriers, deployed more agents and gained back control of the border, natural habitats – damaged by illegal migration – have recovered. Piles of discarded debris disappeared. Neighborhoods and businesses replaced what was once lawless wasteland.”
