LA RAZA-OWNED NEW YORK TIMES SAYS BORDER WITH NARCOMEX AT BREAKING POINT - PELOSI SAYS ONLY UNREGISTERED DEMS AND MORE "CHEAP" LABOR ARE INVADING!

41,000 Unaccompanied Children Apprehended at Border in Recent Months

Hudson noted that there is a backlog of more than 700,000 cases on UACs and that it can take “years” for the cases to work their way through the system.
Moreover, when children are placed in communities around the U.S., the government can lose track of them, and this can put them at risk.

Migrant Families Arrive In Busloads As Border Crossings Hit 10-Year High

 TEN·3:

Honduran migrants surrender to the U.S. Border Patrol after crossing a border wall into the United States. According to new federal data, the number of migrants apprehended crossing the border in recent months has surged.

The U.S. Border Patrol apprehended more than 66,000 migrants at the Southern border in February, the highest total for a single month in almost a decade.
The majority of those arrested were migrant families or children traveling alone or without a parent, according to figures released Tuesday by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Many of the migrants say they're fleeing criminal gangs and poverty in Central America to seek asylum in the United States.
"This is clearly both a border security and humanitarian crisis," said CBP Commissioner Kevin McAleenan at a press briefing.
Between October and last week, Border Patrol agents have picked up more than 260,000 people — a 90 percent jump over the same period a year ago.
This is clearly both a border security and humanitarian crisis.
"The Department entire system right now is at full capacity. Actually, it's overwhelmed," said Manuel Padilla, a veteran Border Patrol agent who's now director of Joint Task Force-West in San Antonio, part of the of Homeland Security.
Even with the recent climb, illegal border crossings are still well below historical highs. But the makeup of the migrant population has changed dramatically from 20 years ago, when it was mostly single men from Mexico. Border Patrol officials say their infrastructure wasn't designed for the flood of migrant families and children arriving now.
"Everything is maxed out and it's causing a lot of issues, because the agents are being assigned to areas that are not border security related," Padilla said, like providing food and medical care for the families and children in their custody.
Since last year, Border Patrol agents say, they have routinely encountered large groups of a hundred or more migrants at the border, many of them arriving by bus from Guatemala. According to immigration authorities, the passengers consist almost entirely of families and children who are looking for Border Patrol agents to turn themselves in to. Agents say they've encountered 70 large groups since last year.
That leaves agents scrambling to transport and process the migrants, Padilla said, and allows drug traffickers to take advantage of the distraction.
Humanitarian groups near the border say the surge of migrant families is straining their resources too.
"It takes an immense effort to do this," said Ruben Garcia, the director of Annunciation House, a nonprofit organization in El Paso, Texas, that provides shelter, food and medical care to migrants after they're released from government custody.
Most migrants spend just a few days in El Paso, Garcia said, before joining friends or relatives elsewhere in the country, where they'll wait for their day in immigration court.
President Trump has decried the surge of people crossing the border illegally from Mexico as "an invasion" — and a chief reason that the U.S. needs to extend its border barriers.
So the wall is not going to do anything with this population. This requires a legislative fix.
But Padilla, the Border Patrol veteran, believes that a wall alone will not stop these migrants.
Many of the migrants are crossing in areas that already have border fencing. And they're not trying to evade the Border Patrol, Padilla said. In fact, these asylum-seekers are trying to turn themselves in as soon as they set foot on U.S. soil.
"So the wall is not going to do anything with this population," Padilla said. "This requires a legislative fix."
Immigration hard-liners say the U.S. needs to close what they call "loopholes" in the law that allow Central American migrants to avoid quick deportation and that prevent immigration authorities from detaining families for long periods of time.
Migrant advocates counter that the Trump administration has made the problem at the Southern border worse by allowing just a few migrant families a day to cross at legal ports of entry. They believe that this is driving many migrants to cross illegally in big groups and in remote stretches of the border.
"They're very vulnerable people," said Garcia at Annunciation House. "Let's strive not to lose or let go of our history as a people of immigrants, who are profoundly committed to human rights."
Humanitarian groups and immigration authorities are bracing for even more migrants in the months ahead. The number of people crossing the border illegally typically crests in the spring, as temperatures warm.

Nolte: NYT Says Border at ‘Breaking Point’ 1 Month After ‘Fact Check’ Claimed No Emergency

One month after claiming there is “no emergency” at the border, the far-left New York Times now concedes the border is at a “breaking point.”
In real time, as President Trump gave his State of the Union speech last month, the Timesbranded the president a liar over his claim that there is an “urgent national crisis” at our border.
“This is false,” the Times told its readers, using a non sequitur about individuals attempting to cross the border, while admitting — at the bottom of the fact check —  that a “record number of families have tried to cross the border in recent months.”
At the time, this phony fact check was widely ridiculed for its absurd attempt to hide the fact that a “record number of families” stressing the resources of our southern border does not somehow constitute a legitimate crisis, and now, almost exactly a month later, this very same Times is reporting our border is at a “breaking point.”
“The number of migrant families crossing the southwest border has once again broken records, with unauthorized entries nearly doubling what they were a year ago, suggesting that the Trump administration’s aggressive policies have not discouraged new migration to the United States,” the Times reports.
“More than 76,000 migrants crossed the border without authorization in February, an 11-year high and a strong sign that stepped-up prosecutions, new controls on asylum and harsher detention policies have not reversed what remains a powerful lure for thousands of families fleeing violence and poverty.”
What the corrupt establishment media are doing here is pretty obvious…
When Trump accurately informs the public about a “crisis” along our southern border, the media brand him a liar, which gives Democrats the cover they desire to not give Trump the resources he needs to contain the crisis.
Then, as the crisis worsens, the Times gleefully reports on how out of control everything is, how Trump is not able to stop of the flow of illegal immigration.
Basically, the media use propaganda to stop Trump from getting the resources he needs — so that they can then turn around and blame him for the problem.
This is all about 2020, all about the media working with Democrats in the hopes of undermining Trump’s base of support by undermining his ability to keep a central campaign promise about fixing America’s illegal immigration problem.

THE DEMOCRAT PARTY AND THE WASTELAND OF AMERICAN CITIES THEY CONTROL AND SURRENDER TO LA RAZA

study by Tom Wong of the University of California at San Diego discovered that more than 25 percent of DACA-enrolled illegal aliens in the program have anchor babies. That totals about 200,000 anchor babies who are the children of DACA-enrolled illegal aliens. This does not include the anchor babies of DACA-qualified illegal aliens. JOHN BINDER

"It extends to each issue the Democrats embrace. Every city that has come under Democrat control is proof positive that instead of raising the standard of living for the occupants, the city falls to crime, gangs, and drugs.  In fact, "America is awash with troubled, dysfunctional cities that have been electing Democrat Party mayors for decades." EILEEN F TOPLANSKY
In the last two years, ICE officers made 266,000 arrests of aliens with criminal records, including those charged or convicted of 100,000 assaults, 30,000 s ex crimes, and 4,000 violent k illings. Over the years, thousands of Americans have been brutally k illed by those who illegally entered our country, and thousands more lives will be lost if we don't act right now.

DHS Secretary: Every Migrant Girl Over 10 Gets Pregnancy Test

UN rights chief condemns migrant family separations at US border

Every migrant girl over 10-years of age that reaches the U.S. is receiving a pregnancy test, said Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristjen Nielsen during her testimony before the House Homeland Security Committee.

“Because of the increase in violence, at ICE, when we have families with children, we have to give every girl a pregnancy test over 10. This is not a safe journey,” Nielsen said during her broadcasted testimony.
Nielsen spoke about the dangers that migrants face–especially females who are often subjected to significant abuse at the hands of human smugglers.
According to recent statistics shared by DHS, one in three females are victims of a sexual assault on the journey to the border. This figure is similar to the one used in January by President Donald Trump during a speech. The figure used by Trump is almost half of the one cited by Doctors without Borders who claimed as many as 68 percent suffer sexual abuse.
Soon after Trump’s speech, Politifact and other news organizations moved to debunk the claim, calling it a half-truth since no reliable metrics reportedly existed. For years, Breitbart Border and Cartels documented similar cases to the contrary.
“Women and young girls from Central America are routinely given birth control or morning-after pills by their mothers in anticipation of the likely sexual assaults that will occur on their illicit journey to the United States,” Breitbart’s Brandon Darby and Bob Price reported on the article, Rape Trees, Dead Migrants and the Consequences of an Open Border. They continued:
These females are often raped immediately upon making it to their first stop once they arrive in a Mexican stash house from Guatemala. They then are shipped to the U.S.-Mexico border, usually to Reynosa, Mexico, immediately south of McAllen, Texas. In the process of making it from the first stash house to the second, the women and young girls are often sexually assaulted or raped again by the smuggler–or group of smugglers–taking them between the two locations. The sexual assaults and rapes then often happen again in the second Mexican stash house of their journey.

FACTS ON THE “REAL LATINO AMERICA” OF MEXICAN OCCUPIED LOS ANGELES:

(these are highly DATED stats on Mexico’s second largest city)

This is another "fact" spun from the 2004 op-ed by Heather Mac Donald, whose article refers to a single Los Angeles gang and the conjecture of an unnamed federal prosecutor.

1.      "40% of all workers in L.A. County are working for cash and not paying taxes. . . . This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card." The Mexican tax-free economy in Los Angeles County is estimated to be in excess of $2 billion dollars a year.

2.     "95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens . . . "

3.     "75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens."

4.    "Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers." The County of Los Angeles hands Mexico’s anchor baby breeders more than a BILLION DOLLARS a year in welfare.

5.     "Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally." California has the largest and most expensive prison system in the country. Half the inmates are now Mexicans. Half the murders in California are by Mexican gangs.

6.    Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

7. "The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border."

8. "Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal."
immigrants.

9. 21 radio stations in L. A. are Spanish speaking.

10. In L. A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish.

The border surge is real

Secretary of homeland security Kirstjen Nielsen told the House Committee on Homeland Security on Wednesday that a surge in illegal immigration is underway at the southern border and will overwhelm U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents if they are not provided additional resources.
In February, we saw a 30 percent jump over the previous month, with agents apprehending or encountering nearly 75,000 aliens[.] ... This is an 80 percent increase over the same time last year. And I can report today that CBP is forecasting the problem will get even worse this spring as the weather warms up.
Two weeks ago, on February 21, the 58 best and brightest former national security officials told us there is no "factual basis" to support President Donald Trump's declaration of a national emergency on the U.S. southern border:
llegal border crossings are near forty year lows. At the outset, there is no evidence of a sudden or emergency increase in the number of people seeking to cross the southern border.  According to the administration's own data, the numbers of apprehensions and undetected illegal border crossings at the southern border are near forty-year lows.  Although there was a modest increase in apprehensions in 2018, that figure is in keeping with the number of apprehensions only two years earlier, and the overall trend indicates a dramatic decline over the last fifteen years in particular.  The administration also estimates that "undetected unlawful entries" at the southern border "fell from approximately 851,000 to nearly 62,000" between fiscal years 2006 to 2016, the most recent years for which data are available.  The United States currently hosts what is estimated to be the smallest number of undocumented immigrants [sic] since 2004.  And in fact, in recent years, the majority of currently undocumented immigrants [sic] entered the United States legally, but overstayed their visas, a problem that will not be addressed by the declaration of an emergency along the southern border.
