used his position as then-Vice President Joe Biden's son to secure a $1.5
billion deal with the Chinese state bank for a Chinese private equity company
where he is a board member.

equity firm, was trying to raise in 2014 to invest outside China, according to The

The global business dealings of Hunter Biden, the son of former
Vice President Joe Biden, have been thrust into the spotlight after President
Donald Trump suggested without evidence that the father and son had engaged in
corruption in Ukraine and China.
Trump on Thursday openly called on
China to
investigate the Bidens, suggesting — without evidence — that
China had given $1.5 billion to a Chinese private equity firm where Hunter
Biden was a board member to secure favorable deals with the US while Joe Biden
was Vice President.

Here's what we know about the background of this allegation.
·Biden
has been a board member at BHR Equity Investment Fund Management Company, a
Chinese state-backed private equity firm, since late 2013, according to The New York
Times and the South China
Morning Post.
·In
2017, Biden bought 10% of the company for about $420,000, The Times reported.
·The
$1.5 billion Trump cited on Thursday appears to refer to a sum that BHR was
trying to raise in 2014 to invest outside China, as The Wall Street
Journal reported at the
time.
·That
sum appeared in "Secret Empires," a book published last year that
criticized Biden's business activities, The Journal
reported.
·Peter
Schweizer, the author, said BHR "would seal a highly unusual $1.5 billion
deal with funding from the Chinese government" after Biden flew to Beijing
aboard Air Force Two at the time.
·Trump
has praised the book in the past, The Journal reported.

on Thursday suggested that Biden used his position as the vice president's

Is Dianne Feinstein out to kill off Kamala Harris's presidential
bid?
Kamala Harris has always
been known for her lean and hungry, pushy, grabby, ambition, which
includes a willingness to sleep her way to the top to
get what she wants. Her political start began as a social mountaineer
with San Francisco's old-money Pacific Heights set dating from her 20s and then just moved
onward and upward.
That's not sitting well
with California's lizardy old-money senior Senator, Dianne Feinstein, who
knows that establishment well.
And so, she's taking some

The early evening
reception will be the first that Feinstein hosts for Biden in the 2020
election, CNBC reported. Her husband has already participated in several
fundraising events for Biden, who campaigned for Feinstein in 2018, when she
was re-elected by a landslide.
Oh, spare us. Feinstein
knows as well as anyone that old Joe is addled and gaffe-tastic. This is more
likely about putting Kamala back in her place.
Fox News speculated that
this fundraiser among the fatcat donors might just have been payback for
Harris's nasty first-debate attack all but accusing Biden of being a Bull
Conner racist. Remember Harris's phony earnestness in: "That little
girl was me"?
Sure, it's possible.
But it's also been known for close to a year that Feinstein considers
Harris a wretched parvenu who hasn't paid her dues.
Remember this?
“I’m a big fan of Sen.
Harris, and I work with her. But she’s brand-new here, so it takes a little bit
of time to get to know somebody,” Feinstein said of the junior senator,
according to the Los Angeles Times.
Her press secretary told
CNN that Feinstein later added that she certainly likes her California
colleague, saying, “Oh, I love Kamala.”
Hard to get a better
old-money passive-aggressive remark than that one. People are either known or
unknown in Feinstein's rich circles and it's pretty obvious to Feinstein
that Kamala doesn't cut it.
What's more, Feinstein is
a 'get off my lawn, whippersnappers' non-ideological sort of small-c
conservative, or, as Fox News put it, she pulls rank. Remember this?
Democratic Sen. Dianne
Feinstein pulled rank Friday when a group of kids tried to school her on
climate change.
After the group sought
her support for the Green New Deal, the 85-year-old senior
senator from California let them know she wasn't about to be bossed around by a
bunch of youngsters.

continued. “I’ve gotten elected, I just ran. I was elected by almost a

So just the fundraiser in
Harris's home state of California was a shiv in the side to Kamala.
Why is that?
Well, for one thing, the
Democratic political set widely believes that to win the presidency, one must
win California. Harris is from California, so that stacks things in her favor.
Now Feinstein is
marshalling money from California Biden's way? So that they give their money to
him and feel 'donor fatigue' when Kamala comes calling?
The matter is compounded
by the fact that the California Democratic campaign fatcats weren't impressed
with Harris's performance in the third debate, as this CNBC report here indicates. Feinstein
knows those people and may very well be egging them toward Biden, or at least
piling on.
Here's another thing:
Money fromfatcats over
little-people donations is Kamala's vulnerable spot. The queen of fake Twitter followers is also
highly reliant on big dollar donors over the little
guys, even as the New York Times tries to claim she's changing
that. Well, maybe she is, but if she is, it would be in the infant stage and in
any case, they're taking her word for it. More likely, she still relies on the
big boys, because that's what she knows.
Which would mean that
Feinstein's bid to separate Harris from that cash lifeline is like that of
General Grant at Vicksburg, targeting Confederate supply lines. The California
dinosaur strategizes.
The Feinstein fundraiser,
which will channel and suction big money toward Biden, can't help but come
at a cost to Harris. And Feinstein, right in the middle of the Pacific Heights
crowd, is lobbing her cannon ball where the funds are richest and Kamala's ties
are tightest.
It almost looks like a
concerted chess move to checkmate the upstart. And given the evidence of
Feinstein's antipathy toward Harris, one can't help but think it's all
intentional.

Hunter Biden deadbeats IRS on $112,000 in taxes from his Burisma 'earnings'
Hunter Biden, who pulled in some $80,000 a month in a no-show job as a board member for Ukrainian gas giant Burisma, seems to have a problem paying his taxes on his "earnings" from it.
The IRS placed a tax lien on Hunter Biden seeking $112,805 in unpaid taxes from 2015, according to records the Daily Caller News Foundation obtained.
The federal agency issued the previously unreported lien in November 2018 and it seeks unpaid taxes for a year in which Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, served on the boards of the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings and the Chinese private equity firm BHR Partners.
“We have made a demand for payment of this liability, but it remains unpaid,” the IRS stated in the lien notice, which it filed with the Washington, D.C., Recorder of Deeds. “Therefore, there is a lien in favor of the United States on all property and rights to property belonging to this taxpayer for the amount of these taxes.”
You'd think someone making that much cash as a "board member" would have a minimal grip on the tax obligations that come of it. But based on Biden junior's history, it appears to have been another case of "and when the money keeps rolling in, you don't ask how," or, Evita stuff. We all know how well that worked out for Argentina.
The thing is, it signals how significant a life of privilege young Hunter had, given that he felt free to do this, based on an assumption that nothing would ever happen to him. He was a princeling, a child of privilege, and just as he admitted he wouldn't have gotten his Burisma board positions "if my name wasn't Biden," he also thought it pretty well gave him a get-out-of-jail free card on taxes.
Perfect family to have in the White House, right? Just the people to raise your taxes as they avoid paying their own. As Leona Helmsley famously said: Little people pay taxes.
It's actually very surprising that Biden junior hasn't been sanctioned any harder than a lien for the unpaid taxes - ordinary Americans who pull such stunts at those levels get their properties and incomes seized.
And young Biden was just recently spotted trotting around at The Grove, a high-dollar Los Angeles mall, with the New York Post's Page Six noting that he's been eating pretty well these days.
More to the point, he's been living well. He's since moved into a Hollywood Hills mansion and is living the celebrity lifestyle these days. Page Six also reported:
A stone-faced Hunter climbed into the driver’s seat of a silver, late-model, four-door Porsche Panamera — which costs at least $92,000 new — leaving Melissa to open the passenger door herself.
Hunter and his wife live in the same Hollywood Hills ZIP code as stars such as Halle Berry and Ben Affleck. The couple’s current digs are worth $2.5 million, The Post recently reported.
Which is strange stuff, given that he's told a judge in Arkansas that he's out of money and has no job in the case of a stripper's paternity suit, yet he lives as he lives on either his no-show job payouts or else somebody else's money. It's strange stuff. Why he hasn't had the IRS swat team swoop down on him for massive tax violations like these is a mystery. But it can't come as a surprise that this junior with a no-show job doesn't pay his taxes to the feds either. The disgraced ex-Navy officer with a politically connected dad is probably is most fit to be a fry cook, who only pays taxes if someone takes them out of his paycheck for him. Fool and his money. But why he gets away with this behavior is something that bears more investigation.

Former Vice President Joe Biden was slammed as a “pervert” and “creepy” by hecklers during a campaign event in Milford, New Hampshire, over the weekend.
Just minutes into his rally remarks, Biden was interrupted by a man who accused him of inappropriately touching others, shouting, “don’t touch kids, you pervert.”
“We don’t need another old, white man running for president,” the heckler added.
“This is not a Trump rally,” Biden hit back frustratedly. “This is a democracy.”
Ahead of formally launching his White House bid, Biden was accused of inappropriate touching by several women. In March, former Nevada politician Lucy Flores wrote in New York Magazine that Biden approached her from behind, touched her shoulders and kissed the back of her head in 2014. Another accuser — Amy Lappos, then a congressional aide to Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) — accused the former vice president of rubbing his nose on hers at a 2009 political fundraiser.
Shortly after the first heckler, a woman began chanting “quid pro Joe,” which gave way to another heckler bringing up allegations of corruption against him and his son Hunter Biden, who has received increased scrutiny for serving as a board member of Ukrainian gas firm Burisma Holdings despite no expertise in the energy sector. Several reports indicate he was paid up to $83,000 per month to serve in the post.
“I’ve released 21 years of my tax returns, how many has yours? What’s he hiding?” the former vice president replied.
Sunday evening’s incident is the second this month in which Biden has been pressed on allegations of corruption against him and his son. At a New Hampton, Iowa, event, the 2020 frontrunner called a farmer a “damn liar” and “fat” after he was told he was “too old” to be president and was grilled over his son’s ties to Burisma Holdings.
The Biden campaign did not issue a statement addressing Sunday evening’s interruptions.
