SOTU: The unspeakable ungraciousness of the Democrats in Congress
President Trump's SOTU speech Tuesday night was spectacular on every level. It was unabashedly pro-American, pro-law-enforcement, pro-border security, pro-religious freedom, pro-life, pro-school choice and pro-the American job and economic comeback, and then some; there was so much more, all of it positive, optimistic. This president has indeed begun to make America great again.
Despite the Democrats' fervent attempts to see him removed from office, President Trump has succeeded beyond all expectations for the good of the nation. This is what so enrages the left; the man has done in three years what they have promised their voters for sixty-plus years but never accomplished -- on purpose. The left has always promised what they never intended to deliver. Their plan for decades has been to keep us all down, begging them, the federal government, for sustenance. Their plan has always been to convince us we cannot thrive without their intervention in our lives and by intervention, they mean they will tell us how to live, breathe, eat, drive, work, etc. Our left is authoritarian, fascist.
And they are also as ungracious as any group of people who have ever held office in America.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi yet again embarrassed herself. This is a woman without an iota of grace or class. She has been determined to see President Trump unseated since the day he won the election. She is the wicked witch of the House; all-powerful but losing her grip on her caucus and her sanity; she is melting. She sat grim-faced, working her mouth in
odd ways as always, trying to distract from the
content of the speech by shuffling papers to make
the point that she was not listening. She was
purposefully rude. Her behavior should be
mortifying to her colleagues but they all behaved
in like manner.
As the president listed the many successes of his administration so far, the Democrats sat on their hands, refusing to applaud nearly all of the terrific things that have taken place these past three years. They made a point of appearing dismissive of the man and his words. They are very angry that it has been a non-ideological Republican who has achieved so much for so many, doing things Democrats have always promised but never fulfilled, stealing their thunder.
Trump's economic policies have brought all demographic groups more jobs and higher wages. No wonder his approval among African-Americans, Hispanics, Asians, women, and youth has grown. They are all better off since he was elected. He has elicited more money for NATO, passed USMCA and begun to even up trade with China, his initial reason for running for the office of president.
The most egregiously infuriating aspect of the night was the persistent despicable behavior of the Democrats who were in the room. They acted like small children, infantilized by their hatred of this president and their belief that Americans must be taken care of according to their specifications. They demeaned themselves with their pathetic behavior at an event like this SOTU speech by refusing to acknowledge any of this president's victories. A few of the usual suspects walked out during the speech, a feeble attempt to demonstrate their contempt. They are obviously both angry and embarrassed that their misguided attempt to impeach the president failed. But they should take their rage out on Reps. Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler and Pelosi who truly failed them, not the president. All those Democrats who sat by and watched the Schiff show systematically destroy their own party are to blame for their own demise.
Trump will be re-elected in a landslide, with black, Hispanic, gay, and former Democrats in support. He actually is making America great again. And for that, the Democrats sat stone-faced, furious, throughout the speech. They made one thing manifestly
clear: They are anti-American, anti-self-reliance,
pro-crime, pro-illegal immigration, pro-sanctuary
cites for illegal criminals, anti-Second
Amendment and anti-American people.
Americans have just endured three years of the Democrats' inability to accept the results of the 2016 election and the torment of the costly and phony Russia hoax as well as the Mueller investigation, which was in fact a cover-up scheme. Then Schiff brought us the long-planned Ukraine nonsense. We have all watched Schiff's descent into madness; he is in need of a rubber room with his final ravings, and yet his colleagues still refrain from stopping him from making an ever bigger fool of himself. They have remained silent as he has made their party a laughingstock. Not a single Democrat has had the courage to shout that this wanna-be emperor has no clothes. Schiff's obsession with removing Trump from office is clearly a sign of his mental instability. Trump is going to sell Alaska to Russia! Bring on the straitjacket and an incapacitating agent.

Is there a better, more telling act of her anger and disrespect for the office of the presidency? She is a harridan, a blight upon her city, her party and the country. The American Democrat party has become something it was never meant to be: it has morphed into a radically fascist party of autocrats. Certainly not all of them fall into this category but those who do not are cowards. Clearly they are afraid of the tyrants who control the party so they sit quietly by in fear of losing their seats. As we watched them all refuse to applaud the many successes of this administration and the members of the audience Trump celebrated, we should all realize that these people are not on the side of America or Americans. As Pelosi so ungraciously ripped up her copy of the speech on camera, she proved, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the Democrat party is no longer pro-American, pro-freedom nor pro-democracy. This SOTU speech was a transformative moment. Now we know that only one party represents the American people. The Democrat party as currently constituted, should ship out to Venezuela where they would feel right at home.

Nancy Pelosi throws a public temper tantrum and other Democrat misbehavior
Two different events played out on the floor of the House on Tuesday night. The first was President Trump’s powerful, moving, uplifting, and optimistic State of the Union speech. The second was the immature, arrogant, intemperate, and really disgusting temper tantrum in which Democrats indulged.
The most obvious sign of a complete mental breakdown on the left was Nancy Pelosi’s conduct during the speech. Her petulant behavior could not be missed because she was seated behind the president, to his left. Whenever the camera was on Trump, it was on Pelosi too.
Pelosi's hissy fit first showed itself when Pelosi refused to give Trump the traditional formal introduction. Traditionally, Speakers of the House say that it is their “high privilege and distinct honor of presenting to you the President of the United States.” Pelosi, however, in grudging and rushed tones, simply said, ‘Members of Congress, the President of the United States.”
Things went downhill from there. When Trump handed copies of his speech to Vice President Pence and Pelosi, Pelosi extended her hand for a shake, but Trump did not extend his hand back. There’s much debate about whether it was an oversight on his part or an intentional insult. You can decide for yourself:
As Trump began to speak, Pelosi began to perform a running pantomime behind his back. Rather than listen to Trump's speech, she leafed through the written speech he gave her. She also wriggled around in her chair, sucked her dentures, made disdainful faces, waved to people in the crowd, and generally behaved like an angry 15-year-old girl whose parents have forced her to attend a formal event. It was painful to watch the person who is third in line to the presidency behave in such a childish, rude manner.
Being intentionally disrespectful and disruptive, though, was just a warm-up for Pelosi’s final act. When Trump’s speech ended, she carefully gathered together her copy of the speech into neat little piles, ostentatiously ripped each pile in half, and disdainfully dropped them on the table in front of her:

The Democrats seated in the House were just as bad. As Trump methodically went through all the wonderful things that have come to the American people in the past three years, they sat there, angry and lugubrious. They refused to clap for record low unemployment, especially for minorities; record rising wages for blue-collar jobs; a secure Southern border; shrinking food stamp and welfare rolls; a rising stock market; criminal justice reform; energy independence; beneficial new trade deals; a revitalized American military; vocational studies in high schools; ending free medical care for illegal aliens; and, of course, Rush Limbaugh’s Medal of Freedom.
The Democrats thought that they were protesting Trump. That's not what Americans saw, though. They saw politicians so invested in regaining political power that they deeply resented Americans becoming richer, healthier, and safer. If Democrats were smart, they would applaud what Trump has achieved and promise to do even better. Instead, they keep peddling their dystopian nightmares and promise that, once given unlimited power, all will be well again. It’s an ugly look.

This has been a bad week for Democrats: First, their impeachment effort not only failed, it drove up Trump’s popularity. Second, they made a complete hash of the Iowa caucuses, which must have caused more than one person to wonder if they’re capable of managing a country. And third, they humiliated themselves by behaving like boorish, immature brats. This was not a principled protest; it was a tawdry, tin-eared tantrum.

and her husband participating in at least eight different stock IPOs while in
Congress.

60 Minutes reporter Steve Kroft confronted Pelosi on
the topic in 2011, but she
denied any impropriety.
The report noted that Pelosi and her
husband participated in an initial public offering of Visa in 2008, while
credit card regulation was underway in the House of Representatives. The
Pelosis bought 5,000 shares at the initial price of $44 and shares were trading
at $64 just two days later, according to the report.
“Congress has never done more for
consumers nor has the Congress passed more critical reforms of the credit card
industry than under the Speakership of Nancy Pelosi,” Pelosi spokesman, Drew
Hammill, said in
a statement, according to CNN after the 60 Minutes report aired.
The
clip was featured on Mark Levin’s Fox News show Life, Liberty and Levin on
Sunday.
Turns out Biden's family not the only one to benefit from
Ukrainian fossil fuels
On Sept. 24, 2019, Speaker Nancy
Pelosi announced the official
impeachment inquiry that would be led by the
Intelligence Committee and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.). At first,
this was a curious decision to objective persons, since the Judiciary Committee
has the authority over this type of procedure. At the time, Pelosi
indicated a threat by President Donald Trump to our national security during
the July 25 conversation between him and President Zelensky of
Ukraine. She did this without the benefit of the transcript, but she
doubtless already knew much of the CIA "whistleblower's"
complaint. Further, the Ukrainian
president disputes her version.
But this is not the rationale for her
haste to convene the investigation. It appears that the D.C. swamp
benefits another powerful family. The Biden
family has gotten special treatment from Ukrainian oil interests, and the
Pelosi family has a similar advantage. Paul Pelosi, Jr. was a board
member of Viscoil and an executive at its related company NRGLab, which was
involved in energy business in Ukraine. Perhaps the use of the
Intelligence Committee has given the Democrats the opportunity to limit
Republican questioning and maintain secrecy over the responses from subpoenaed
witnesses. This would prevent any official record implicating
Pelosi's son. This also explains her reluctance to
take a vote authorizing the investigation, since the minority party would gain
some rights.
This is interesting also since much of
the Democratic Party rejects carbon-based energy sources. Biden has
made this a part of his campaign. The Green New Deal proposals will
eventually end dependency on oil and gas as an energy source. But
this does not stop these politicos from benefiting financially from this sector
of the economy. This reminds one of the financial benefits that Al
Gore's father had from Occidental Petroleum, which was one of the great
polluters (remember Love Canal?). He chose to make money selling
carbon offsets to atone and make his own name.
The Ukrainian oil company Burisma used
many well connected members of the D.C. establishment connected to the Obama
administration. This interlocking swamp is a threat to the
USA. But the media have managed to convince a vast number of
Americans that Trump is the threat. When Trump railed against Pelosi
in Louisiana on Friday, he was accusing her of not just splitting the nation
politically, but also ignoring the financial benefits to powerful families at
the detriment of our national security. This also helps explain the
constant discussion in public about Biden's son Hunter, in addition to the
political advantage he might gain.
No wonder the establishment (including
many Republicans) wants to impeach Trump. Family security always
"trumps" national security in the D.C. swamp.

where grape-picking depends chiefly on the availability of cheap foreign labor
– is doing everything she can to help open the floodgates to more illegal
immigration. And she wants the American taxpayers to pay their way. As even more
proof of this
than I previously reported, Pelosi
does not want employers like her to be required to pay the cost of illegal
aliens’ hospital care. She voted against a bill that would make
employers liable for the reimbursements if an undocumented employee seeks
medical attention. And she voted in favor of rewarding illegal aliens from
Mexico with Social Security benefits.

The Minuteman Project, founded by Jim Gilchrist (who is also the
co-author of the book Minutemen: The Battle to Secure America’s Borders), is
made up of citizen volunteers who watch our border with Mexico and report
illegal entry to the border patrol. For performing that thankless task in full
compliance with the law, Gilchrist and his colleagues have been falsely
maligned as fascists, racists, and even murderers. They have been driven off
the speaker’s platform at Columbia University and vilified by Leftist
politicians and their handmaidens in the liberal press.
So it was no surprise that the mainstream media chose to ignore
a recent press release, issued by his publisher, in which Gilchrist asked the
question about Nancy Pelosi’s ethics that should be on the minds of every
law-abiding American – including those immigrants who are following the law to
become citizens here the proper way: “Do we really need a House Speaker whose
every action is calculated to enhance her own financial interests, instead of
focusing on how porous borders will affect the security of everyday American
citizens?”
Gilchrist did not stop there. He demanded an investigation into
Pelosi’s “economic stake in just the kind of illegal alien exploitation that we
deplore in Minutemen.” But you would never know it from the liberal media, who
- while ignoring this demand - have had no compunctions in calling for Speaker
Hastert’s head in the wake of the Foley page controversy.
Gilchrist was reacting to my report several weeks ago in

At the same time, Pelosi has led the Democratic opposition to
any effective border controls or documentation requirements. She opposed the
Secure Fence Act of 2006, signed into law by President Bush, and voted against
final passage of a border security and enforcement bill in 2005 which required
that all businesses must use an electronic system to check if all new hires
have the legal right to work in this country. She voted against a bill to bar
drivers' licenses for illegal aliens in 2005. This year she opposed legislation
requiring presentation of a legitimate government-issued photo ID to prove
eligibility to vote, claiming that “there is little evidence anywhere in the
country of a significant problem with non-citizen voters.” She is dead wrong.
For example, an accused terrorist by the name of Nuradin Abdi was just recently
reported to have illegally registered to vote at the Ohio Bureau of Motor
Vehicles. Nuradin Abdi was indicted earlier this year as part of a conspiracy
to blow up the Columbus Mall.
How many other terrorist suspects may have slipped through the
system because Leftists like Pelosi oppose any meaningful screens? Instead she
continues to advocate our recognition of the flimsy, non-validated ID card that
the Mexican consulates provide to illegal aliens before they cross over our
border, called the “matricula consular”, which gives them phony documentation
to set up bank accounts, apply for jobs, obtain social benefits, board
airplanes, identify themselves to police, enter buildings that require IDs,
obtain drivers’ licenses and then perhaps use those drivers’ licenses to try to
illegally register to vote in our elections.
Pelosi also believes in giving sanctuary to illegal aliens. She
opposed legislation to deny federal homeland security funding to state and
local governments who refuse to share information they learn about an
individual's immigration status with Federal immigration authorities. Pelosi’s
hometown of San Francisco is one of the sanctuary cities she voted to protect
for the benefit of illegal aliens. Pelosi even voted against strengthening our
immigration law with regard to the deportability of alien terrorists.
Jim Gilchrist cut to the chase with this devastating observation
that the mainstream media does not want you to read:
"As we’ve shown again and again in ‘Minutemen,’ the
Democrats aren’t just hypocrites, but are working actively to subvert our
legislative system to their own ends. Their only goal is votes, votes and more
votes, no matter where they come from, no matter if they’re cast legally, no
matter whether the person casting them is dead, alive, a citizen or an illegal
alien."
Pelosi sees Jim Gilchrist’s Minutemen Project as a threat to her
pro-illegal alien agenda. More illegal aliens mean more votes for the Democrats
and more grape-pickers for Napa Valley vineyards like hers. So she even voted
against a measure that would have cut off the use of U.S. taxpayers’ funds to
tip off illegal aliens as to where the Minutemen citizen patrols may be
located! She obviously wants to see the Minutemen put out of business –
permanently. She can count on the liberal press to distort the work of the
Minutemen and to keep out of the public eye Gilchrist’s pointed questions about
her motivations for helping illegal aliens during the run-up to the mid-term
elections that may make her the next Speaker of the House.
Gilchrist, of course, is accustomed to being vilified and
prevented by the Left from getting his message out. In early October, he was
prevented from finishing his speech at the "Minutemen Forum"
sponsored by the Columbia College Republicans. Gilchrist had spoken for just a
few minutes and managed to utter the words “I love the First Amendment” when a
group of radical protestors took the stage and interrupted him, displaying a
big banner saying "There are no illegals." More protestors then
stormed the stage. Chaos erupted and the audience members who had come to hear
Gilchrist speak never got the chance, which was precisely the protestors’
objective. As reported online by the staff of Columbia’s undergraduate
newspaper, “a mosh pit of triumphal students and community members danced and
chanted outside, "Asian, Black, Brown and White, we smashed the Minutemen
tonight!" They also put out a statement declaring:
“The Minutemen are not a legitimate voice in the debate on
immigration. They are a racist, armed militia who have declared open hunting
season on immigrants, causing countless hate crimes and over 3000 deaths on the
border. Why should exploitative corporations have free passes between nations,
but individual people not? No human being is illegal.” (Emphasis added)
We have come to the point in this country where a bunch of
radical protestors get to decide who is and who is not a legitimate voice in
the debate on as critical a public policy issue as immigration. Such Leftists
think that migration in a borderless world is a basic human right. They want no
barriers, no guards, and no proof of lawful residency. They certainly do not
want the Minutemen watching the border and reporting illegal entry to the
authorities.
Leftist slogans like “no human being is illegal” are red
herrings. It is not the human being who is illegal; it is what the human being
does that may be illegal. One’s conduct is the test, not simply who one is.
Immigrants who follow our rules are welcome here. Those who do not abide by our
laws have no right to be here. A person who breaks into your house without your
permission does not deserve room, board and a job as a reward, even if the
intruder may be much poorer than you. He has broken the law and deserves to be
punished for what he has done. Our country’s boundaries and rules for entry and
residency similarly define who is permitted to be here and how we choose to
protect ourselves. We are a land of immigrants, but we are also a land of laws
with certain core values. Those seeking to enter our country and remain here
must learn to accommodate to our laws and values, not the other way around.

passed through Ellis Island. Why should the law be thrown aside now?
What we are witnessing is a frontal challenge to our nation’s
sovereignty. Mexico’s Foreign Secretary wants to drag us before the United
Nations for intending to build a fence on our side of the border with our money
to keep out aliens who seek to enter our country illegally. They will probably
get a sympathetic ear as some UN bureaucrats believe there should be no such
thing as “illegal” immigrants in the first place. For the first time in our
history, Americans are being asked to cede the right to decide how we define
ourselves as a nation and protect our own borders to a globalist governance
body. Will Pelosi lead her liberal loyalists as House Speaker to support the UN
against America’s right to control its own borders? Do we really want to risk
finding out?
It is high time, as Jim Gilchrist demanded in the press release
ignored by the mainstream media, that Pelosi come clean under oath as to her
personal stake in the illegal immigration issue before she can do even more
damage as House Speaker.

Last week when the huge bailout bill was passed,
Pelosi added an earmark to the final bill adding $33 million dollars for an
"economic development credit in American Samoa".

Conservative activist Laura Loomer, who is known for going undercover
with James O'Keefe, took alleged illegal aliens from Mexico and Guatemala to
Speaker Nancy Pelosi's home in California. There, the group jumped the fence
and Loomer demanded the group be let into the home. The group set up a pop up
tent with the word "morality" on it and hung the pictures of those
who were killed by illegal aliens, The Daily Caller reported.
Why the Left Really Wants to Kill America
The century-long attempt to kill capitalism in America gained a dramatic head of steam in the 1960s with the rapid ascendency of progressivism, a Marxist movement that would quietly seize control of the Democratic Party over the last half-century.
Which was something different. For most of America’s 244-year history, the dominant political parties that evolved had a common goal constantly working to improve the country they both loved. In the 1860s, a Republican president went to war to end slavery. A century later, a Democratic president launched another well-intentioned war, a war on poverty. Democrats and Republicans alike largely saw their country as a force for good, both at home and abroad. Beginning in the 1960s, that widely- shared view began to show cracks as the progressive movement began tightening its grip on the modern Democratic Party. Democrat icons of the 1960s -- Adlai Stevenson, Henry “Scoop” Jackson, Sam Nunn, Hubert Humphrey and JFK, to name a few -- were genuine patriots who loved their country, a sentiment that was shared by a large majority of that era’s rank and file Democrats. Such is no longer the case. Here are four ways Democrats are looking to end the idea of America altogether:
Killing America by replacing patriotism with socialism
In October 2018, The New York Times reported that 69% of progressive Democrats are ashamed of being American. Increasingly influenced by the progressive wing of their party, Democrats as a whole have moved sharply away from that love of country, and veered toward socialism that sounded like communism: In February 2019, Public Opinion Strategies found that an astounding 77% of Democrats who plan to vote in 2020 self-identify as socialists. Aided and abetted by the complicit mainstream media, the modern Democratic Party has been remarkably successful at driving down patriotism: Gallup found that less than a third of Democrats are extremely proud of their country. That's less than a third, and trending sharply downward.
Killing America by making citizenship meaningless
Why has the modern Democratic Party worked so diligently to erode patriotism? Because love of country is a major impediment to convincing voters to support what they really want, which is yielding their nation’s sovereignty to an international governing body, ultimately the United Nations. With patriotism marginalized, a society’s populace can more easily be led to no longer see themselves as citizens of their country, but as “citizens of the world.” (In his July 2008 speech in Berlin, progressive presidential candidate Barack Obama told an adoring crowd of 200,000 cheering Europeans, “I come to you as a Citizen of the World.”)
In Europe, the long-standing national identity of every progressive-run nation is already being intentionally erased, and it stands as a sort of bellwether of things to come over here.
Government-encouraged mass migration is its instrument, and the same thing is being attempted in America by the modern Democratic Party. This particular phenomenon is particularly associated with billionaire globalist George Soros. The Hungarian-born "stateless statesman" is the most prolific financier of the progressive push for a world without borders.
In his anti-capitalist best-seller, The Crisis of Global Capitalism, Soros sets out the progressive strategy. Complaining bitterly about “the sway of sovereign nations,” Soros has advocated for, and since spent immense sums each year fostering “open society alliances” among sovereign nations. The goal of these alliances is to indoctrinate citizens of western nations to accept the high-mindedness of doing away with national identities in favor of a collectivist world identity. With national identities erased, people no longer see themselves as patriotic citizens of their countries, but as united citizens of an enlightened global society. People who oppose the unfettered influx of migrants and refugees are shouted down as racists and xenophobes. Once open-border alliances have been solidified, the last obstacle is cleared for a borderless world governed by the UN. For global governance to become a reality, the sovereignty of every western nation, including America, must be eliminated, Soros believes.
When the election of Donald Trump dealt a calamitous setback to the near-term realization of fundamentally transforming America, Soros penned an angry rant comparing Trump to Hitler, and calling him a racist and a xenophobe. Known as “the puppet master” because of the enormous influence he exerts on Democratic Party hierarchy, Soros’s foremost target in taking down sovereign western democracies is the crown jewel of them all: the United States of America. In working toward the culmination of that takedown, the billionaire globalist mastermind has powerful allies at the highest levels of the modern Democratic Party.
Killing America through identity politics
To overthrow a capitalist society, The Communist Manifesto calls for fomenting a titanic struggle by pitting an alleged victim class against an alleged oppressor class. In the Russian Revolution of 1917, the Bolsheviks rose to power by pitting the proletariat against the bourgeoisie.
Over the last half-century, the Democratic Party has taken the concept of Marxist/Leninist dialectical struggle to new heights through its use of identity politics. The term refers to politically subdividing the electorate into multiple factions (voting blocks), whose members are told they are singled out for persecution by a bigoted and unjust society. To wit: People of color are persecuted by racists & white supremacists, women by sexists & misogynists, refugees & illegal immigrants by nativists & xenophobes, Muslims by Islamophobes, gays & lesbians by homophobes & religious bigots, the 99% by the 1%, and so on. The goal of identity politics is to turn a majority of the American electorate against their country.
The self-serving narrative of identity politics is that caring, inclusive and tolerant Democrats will righteously defend the members (voters) of each identity group from the constant onslaught of outrages inflicted on them by an oppressive society. Identity politics is used as a political bludgeon to deceive Americans into believing their country is an incurably unjust place where things can be set straight only by killing off its existing economic and governing systems.
That is the observed pattern and it's important. It tells us why the 2020 elections will determine whether our free market Republic survives, or falls from within to single-party socialist rule.
