When the after-action report on the current pandemic is being prepared, I’m going to ask the guy with the notepad to write down: “China” and “globalists.”
Those words won’t be on Trump’s list. He can’t stop gushing about how much he respects China and the American companies that have outsourced jobs there. Even as China withholds vital medical supplies, he refuses to end our suicidal dependence on them.
His one slight annoyance with China is that it lied about the Wuhan virus, allowing the disease to explode across the globe.
I have a longer list of complaints, beginning with the fact that they eat bats. The resulting pandemic now raging through our country would be bad enough, but our new crisis is a shortage of medical equipment.
Too bad we shipped all our manufacturing to China! Not to worry, surely China wouldn’t disrupt the sacred “global supply chain.”
Oops. China is stockpiling masks and ventilators.
And there’s more good news! China makes more than 90% of our antibiotics, vitamin C, ibuprofen and hydrocortisone, 70% of acetaminophen, and 40% to 45% of heparin, according to The New York Times. The last American penicillin plant closed more than 15 years ago.
In early March, the Chinese government ominously warned that if China stopped exporting drugs, “the United States would sink into the hell of a novel coronavirus epidemic.”
For decades, people like Trump’s trade director Peter Navarro have warned us that something like this would happen someday. But we were condescendingly told, This is capital seeking the most efficient market! And, anyway, if China screws with us, we’ll just make it ourselves.
Really? With broken-down buildings, a dispossessed workforce, and no machinery? Unfashionable working-class people in the industrial Midwest were discarded long ago. They may as well have had “obsolete” stamped on their foreheads.
But I notice that you, Wall Street, made a lot of money off of globalization.
Oh, did I? I didn’t notice!
What happened to your vaunted concern for China’s human rights violations — the Uyghurs, the Falun Gong, Tibet, child labor?

Even before China gave us this latest viral disease — not to be confused with Asian flu, SARS, and bird flu, also from China — one of the most frequent questions about Amazon products was: “Is this made in China?”
Obviously, a lot of consumers would happily pay more to know that something is made in the USA — or at least not in China. We’d like to support our fellow Americans. We also prefer products that don’t kill the family pet, instantly fall apart or risk being embargoed during a viral pandemic.
How about that search refinement, Amazon? “Made in USA — including constituent parts” or “0% Chinese.” I’d wager these would be more popular than the hundreds of other search parameters, such as star ratings, price, manufacturer, “prime,” calories, gluten-free, and so on.
Not a chance. The globalists are making a lot of money selling us crappy products, manufactured in a culturally backward, totalitarian regime with zero quality control and absolutely no interest in the well-being of our country.
Why hasn’t Trump seized on this nightmare of the New World Order to fulfill a campaign promise and bring manufacturing home?
Where are the massive tariffs on Chinese goods and the “Buy American” programs?
How about telling Ivanka, No, you are not going to make it even more expensive for companies to hire Americans with this ridiculous Paid Family Medical Leave Act! In fact, we’re going to seek the repeal of all laws that create jobs only for trial lawyers.
Even a lot of the American companies we’re so proud of for stepping up to make masks in this crisis… are making them in China. (New York Times, March 13, 2020: “A General Motors joint venture in southwestern China built 20 of its own mask-making machines and began bulk production.”)
Trump’s reaction? Flatter China so they’ll keep buying our soybeans. Maybe they’ll throw Jared some business!
Nearly a month ago, The New York Times reported that Trump was “preparing an executive order, which could be released in the coming days,” requiring the federal government to buy American-made pharmaceuticals.
It apparently went into the same file as that executive order on anchor babies. We’re still waiting.
Navarro had the executive order ready to go, but then dozens of pharmaceutical companies lobbied against it, arguing that “a diverse pharmaceutical supply chain is precisely what enables the industry to respond quickly and make adjustments in its supply chain sourcing during natural emergencies and global public health crises.”
China: If we cut you off, America, you’ll be in hell.
The Big Pharma lobbyists also noted that Trump’s (idle) threat for America to make its own drugs “could run afoul of commitments it made under the WTO’s Government Procurement Agreement.”
NO! WE CAN’T VIOLATE THE WTO’S GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT AGREEMENT!
Trump is the president of the United States. Either he is responsible for a monstrous virus arriving on our shores and destroying our economy — or China is. I expected the media to say, “Trump!” I didn’t expect Trump to agree.

"Nancy Pelosi is a
cancer on the body politic."
Those are the words of Mark Levin and he is profoundly
correct. It is actually an understatement. This woman has
dedicated her entire recent term to impeaching President Trump over a phone
call. She stupidly bought into Adam Schiff’s lunacy that they had
the evidence that the president had threatened the president of
Ukraine with a quid
pro quo -- either investigate the Clinton
campaign’s meddling in the 2016 election or else. None of that
was true, any more than the Russia collusion hoax, but Pelosi still
gambled that she could take out Trump with that phony ploy. It was Biden
who threatened Ukraine with an actual quid
pro quo -- either fire the man investigating my son or
lose a billions dollars in U.S. aid.
Then came the Wuhan virus. Oh my, were the Democrats
thrilled. This would
be the crisis they could use, manipulate to their desired end. This
is how utterly stupid these Democrats are! This is how malicious
they are; they are ready and willing to destroy the United States
economy to take down a president they abhor. Why do the loathe him
so? Because he is effective and successful. The American
people, those not members of the political/academic class, love this
man. They love him for a myriad of good reasons. Chief among them is
that he recognizes and respects them, unlike the partisans of the left who view
most Americans as nothing more than flotsam and jetsam, inconveniences they
must tolerate. So superior to the worth of most citizens do the
likes of those who inhabit Pelosi’s circle of pals see themselves,
they suffer no unease over dismissing us as invalid. That so many of
us love and revere President Trump makes us all the more worthy of their
dripping disdain.
Nancy Pelosi is a blight upon her district. San
Francisco is a disaster about which she cares nothing. It is a city
ravaged by drug abuse, homelessness, rampant crime and all the other scourges
of leftism. She lives extravagantly in her gated
mansion. She lives a life of wealth and privilege in city
suffering a civilizational collapse created and orchestrated by her own
party. She revels in it. She has become a
near-billionairess by way of politics of the most corrupt
variety. She is indeed a cancer on the body politic.
How do sentient people watch her on any of the many cable news
programs on which she appears listen to her blather and lies? She
accuses the president of “fiddling while people are dying.” What
nonsense. He was on the case while she was obsessed with impeaching
him! He banned flights from China in January, created a task
force to address the virus but the left-media did not notice. She
was encouraging the people of San Francisco to join the crowd in Chinatown to
celebrate Chinese New Year in late February! She and Schiff
et al were so were obsessed with impeaching him they ignored the
Wuhan virus completely. It was as though they actually thought they
could remove him from office! That is how deluded they are. Pelosi
still is. She shows up all over cable TV with her
surgically-modified, botoxed face, her red lipstick reminiscent
of the RuPaul’s drag queen show and expects that Americans will pay
attention to anything she has to say. She has become a joke, a punchline.
Anyone paying attention to anything Pelosi has to say at this
moment in time is mentally challenged. That would be the same people
who think Joe Biden is a viable candidate for the presidency, a man so
obviously in the throes of dementia it is a mystery why no one, especially his
wife, has not put a stop to his campaign. Biden is pathetic, always
a man of little or no character -- and a racist. What he did to
Clarence Thomas with relish was obscene, a window into his inner
depravity. At this point in time, Biden is no more presidential
material than Lenny of Mice
and Men. Joe Biden is as much a cancer on the body
politic as Nancy Pelosi. He is a shallow empty suit who has long
enjoyed and abused the power vested in him as a senator. He is also
a creep. He fondles and sniffs women and girls so chronically he should
probably be on the sex offender registry. And this is the man the
Democrat party is running as their candidate for the presidency!
What the Democrat party has become is a tragedy for
America. We need to be a two-party nation, with each seeking
adherence to the Constitution. But over the eight years of the Obama
administration and his commitment to transforming America, the Democrat party
was indeed transformed. It is now fully socialist and authoritarian,
anti-First Amendment, anti-Second Amendment, anti-freedom and
anti-Constitutional. The left has no tolerance for persons who are
pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, pro-capitalism, pro-liberty. The
economic system that has brought untold millions out of poverty is their enemy. They
want and lobby for the dependency of the masses who they believe will be
certified democrat voters. Our left has been transformed into a
vicious mob of anti-American fascists. Elect or re-elect any of them
to office and we will get what we deserve, a nightmare of unimaginable
proportions. Pelosi and her ilk are
not only certifiably insane, they are well and truly evil. Their intentions for the wealth and sanctity of this
nation as founded are malicious. She and her fellow elitists could not
care less for the citizens they were elected to represent. This is
why they are unable to grasp why so many of us love this president; he
does care about all the folks they disregard – all those people who are
bringing food to our markets, stocking the shelves, still picking up our trash,
taking care of those who are sick across the nation. This pandemic
crisis has demonstrated for all to see that the American left is as
much an enemy of America as China.

Is Globalism the
New End of History?
At the beginning of the
twentieth century, the traditional ruling class was replaced with technocratic
governments. The old elite were interested only in perpetuating
their power and managing the general affairs of the state. In
contrast, the new managerial class was much more ruthless and
methodical. Their ambition went farther than any tyranny of the
past; they believed they had a quasi-divine mandate to reshape society in their
image. The main purpose of their political activities was to find
the optimal governing model that maximized their power and the ideology that
legitimized it. Religious myths were replaced with an ideological
narrative. As a direct consequence, the twentieth century has shown
that in the absence of an absolute, divine reference, words can justify any
atrocity.
A totalitarian ideology
aims to impose a vision on society and transform the individual mindset to fit
a collectivist pattern. All ideologies pretend they respond to a
social necessity and that they are the end of history. Ideologies
are a means of transferring morality from the divine to a human level, thus shifting
the emphasis from truth to power. Fascism, National Socialism, and
socialism left behind a trail of economic devastation, wars, and mass
murder. The fascist economies were based on a corporatist model; big
companies in Germany and Italy worked alongside the state to set a national
economic policy. As economic depression set in, some of those
companies were nationalized. Trade unions were replaced with an
organization controlled by the ruling class. The spending on social
welfare in fascist economies exceeded that of other European
nations. In the United States, the New Deal enacted reconstruction
programs through cooperation between big businesses and the government
bureaucracy, under the wise guidance of the Federal Reserve. The
centerpiece of the economic policy was the coerced government cartelization of
industry based on corporatism. The progressive and fascist economic
models were virtually indistinguishable.
Any rational person would
have learned from the lessons of the past century, but not our so-called leaders. The
growth of government has created a bureaucracy whose members, as in some feudal
aristocracy, consider that their power is derived from their social status
rather than the consensus of the governed. The entire progressive
rule, from Prohibition to open borders, has been a sequence of escalating
social engineering experiments. Permanent tinkering with the public
education system has produced functional illiterates with the political
worldview of Maoist guards. Another progressive experiment, the welfare
state, is insolvent and is kept alive only by the economic tricks of the
glorious Federal Reserve.
After the collapse of
communism in 1989, the way was open for a progressive New World
Order. The oligarchic bureaucracy of the Deep State, together with
shadowy characters from former communist and third-world countries, became part
of a criminal global organization with supranational managerial
power. Ideologies competing with Progressivism had ended in
enslavement, genocide, and war, so a new narrative was required. The
dangerous myth of the end of history was revived; this time, the future will
belong to liberal democracy.
The new narrative is
globalism, which is supposed to be the ultimate ideology that will save the
world. In reality, it is a mismatched combination of totalitarian
ideologies; social movements; and the half-baked, pseudo-Marxist philosophical
ideas of the Frankfurt school and Antonio Gramsci. Socialism has
been replaced with the socialization of perceived injustices. Globalism
considers nation-states as obsolete entities that are responsible for war and
genocides. In the name of ill defined concepts like diversity and
multiculturalism, the demographics of Western nation-states have been
irreversibly altered.
This process has no legal
or moral basis and is justified only by emotional
propaganda. Instead of being set by negotiations, wages are now
determined by an immigration policy dictated by politicians and CEOs rather
than internal market demand. Under the pretext of fighting a
permanent crisis, the fascist corporatist economic model has been
revived. We have fallen down the rabbit hole to a place where the
Mad Hatter is not just mad, but evil. We are in a permanent war with
Islamic terror, white supremacism, drugs, viruses, and the
climate. A mix of propaganda and psychological warfare has created
the level of fear, chaos, and violence necessary for a radical
transformation. From orange and yellow terror alerts to pandemics,
the ruling class needs to keep the peons in a permanent state of
fear. Never let a good crisis go to waste, and if no good crisis is
available, manufacture one. To our rulers, God is dead, so the
connection between morality and the rule of law that is essential to the good
workings of a republic has been broken. The rule of law is gradually
being replaced with the designed chaos and violence of social justice, while
morality has become just a cover for "humanitarian"
propaganda.
To the politically
engaged citizen, it is important to understand that, because of demographic
changes and public school indoctrination, representative democracy is becoming
less and less effective. Even on the rare occasion when a president
gets elected without first being selected, the best he can hope for is to slow
down an irreversible process. Our society is becoming neo-feudal,
consisting of the ruling class and their serfs, with the indigenous middle
class gradually losing any political and economic influence. A
narrative that grows into a state ideology is changing and altering everything,
from entertainment to education, science, history, and politics. The
ideological tone is increasingly strident and hysterical, with any attempt at
moderation gone out the window; it is as if a doomsday cult has monopolized any
form of communication. Capitalism is irredeemable, and climate
change will end the world in ten years if we don't change our sinful
consumerist ways or if a pandemic doesn't do it first. Any minor
potential danger is amplified in the media. Propaganda is successful
when millions of people believe in a narrative that is guaranteed to make their
life miserable. We do not have a self-defense mechanism against this
permanent aggression.
In a globalist world, the
distinction between a foreign lobby and the politicians being lobbied becomes
blurred. China, Iran, and Saudi Arabia have a growing influence on
our power structure, and they can sway important decisions that affect our
national security. The media are controlled by a few conglomerates,
which in turn are controlled by a handful of shareholders, some of whom live in
foreign countries.
The worst is yet to
come. In the twentieth century, the demented dream of reshaping the
world according to ideological principles led to the death of tens of millions
of people. That same dream has now been revived by the globalist
Mafia on an even larger scale. In a world that is increasingly
violent, dysfunctional, and fragmented, chaos engulfs
everything. The fabric of society is being torn apart, and there is
no natural cohesive factor to oppose it. As the decision-making
process becomes more centralized, rulers look increasingly like monkeys pulling
levers at random. In the end, they just give up any attempt at running
society rationally and institute the total control of ignorant
goons. They are the apprentice sorcerers that lost control of their
own experiments.
