Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham announced Thursday afternoon he will hold a series of “in-depth” hearings, starting in early June, on Crossfire Hurricane and other Obama administration abuses. 
“Our first phase will deal with the government’s decision to dismiss the Flynn case as well as an in-depth analysis of the unmasking requests made by Obama Administration officials against General Flynn.  We must determine if these requests were legitimate,” Graham released in a statement. “Our next area of inquiry, later this summer, will be oversight building upon the Horowitz report about FISA abuses against Carter Page.  My goal is to find out why and how the system got so off the rails.”
“Finally, we will look at whether Robert Mueller should have ever been appointed as Special Counsel.  Was there legitimate reason to conclude the Trump campaign had colluded with the Russians?” he continued. 
Thursday morning President Trump said he believes President Obama should testify, given his January 5, 2017 Oval Office meeting in which he discussed the monitoring of General Flynn.

“I am greatly concerned about the precedent that would be set by calling a former president for oversight. No president is above the law.  However, the presidency has executive privilege claims against other branches of government,” Graham said. “To say we are living in unusual times is an understatement.”

If nothing else it would make for great television. However, I have great doubts about whether it would be wise for the country.”

The 2016 election was supposed to have Hillary Clinton making history. Instead, she became a two-time presidential loser, whose only accomplishment was that she married Bill, who does have the political skill to win an election. And there was a lot of dirty laundry lying around from the FBI's disastrous Russian collusion outing. Obama wanted to make sure this investigation was protected, preferably hidden from the Trump team.
And then, the leaks began. For over two years, Obama's orders led to a coordinated media leak campaign. All of this, the entire Trump-Russia myth, was based on a shoddy opposition research document—the Steele dossier—which has been thoroughly debunked. And yet, "orange man…bad," so it engulfed the liberal media. Obama knew this, as did his team.
With ex-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn now exonerated, as he was revealed to be the victim of a malicious FBI prosecution that was groundless, the last pieces of this dead rotting collusion carcass are falling apart. The documents show that there was no evidence of Russian collusion regarding Mr. Flynn, there was no need for him to be interviewed, and the top FBI brass was out to get him no matter what—the Constitution be damned. There was an entrapment plot, which was long dismissed as tin foil hat speak. Nope. Obama had spent eight years politicizing the Department of Justice with Eric Holder. It was now a den of traitors, who drafted an open letter recently calling for Attorney General William Barr to resign, citing political interference. In reality, they're upset their whole circus act is coming down. It's the twilight zone; nearly 2,000 former Obama DOJ officials are upset that the current administration is following the…rule of law.

It suggested that the investigations were finding a ton of treasonous dirt on Team Trump — when in fact the investigators had come up dry.

Say this about Obama: He knows how to play dirty.
Yeah, he sure does. He's a Democrat. They're all dirty. The FBI led a baseless and malicious crusade against Flynn, they spied on Carter Page, a former Trump campaign official, and ignored or disregarded standing department policy in its effort to honor Obama's final orders. And people think that Trump is the one who is cancerous to our institutions.

The FBI and the DOJ need to be overhauled. The top brass has to be purged. The agency, once admired for its impartiality and investigative prowess, as well as being the preeminent domestic intelligence service, is now in shambles. It can't be trusted. It's lost all credibility regarding being able to handle politically sensitive probes. And this is all thanks to Barry, who got duped by the Russians into pursuing this wild goose chase.
There must be more hearings on this, especially in the second phase of the Russian collusion delusion: the special counsel probe. Sally Yates, Susan Rice, Obama, James Clapper, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, and others involved in this deep state plot should be yanked back before Congress to address the Flynn fiasco. Wheel in the cots if they have to because no one should leave until all questions have been asked and then some.

Flynn's Attorney Speaks Out About Obama's Role in Effort to Entrap Former National Security Adviser

Michael Flynn’s attorney, Sidney Powell, spoke in no uncertain terms Sunday in an interview with Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo about former President Obama’s role in the effort to entrap the former national security adviser.
The Department of Justice dropped the case against Flynn last week after documents showed the FBI plotted to entrap him on perjury charges.
Powell explained the FBI agents made it appear to Flynn that the meeting was informal, giving him no impression that his responses could later be used against him.
“These agents specifically schemed and planned with each other how to not tip him off that he was even the person being investigated,” she said. “In fact, according to Comey's testimony that's attached to the exhibits they filed in the motion to dismiss, they just simply said, we'd like to send a couple agents by to talk to you.
"And, of course, General Flynn said sure. And he saw them as allies. They encouraged him to stay that way,” she continued. “They deliberately did not tell him about 1001 [the statute that makes it a federal felony to lie to agents] because they didn't want to trigger the slightest suspicion in his mind that he was being investigated or should be concerned about anything.”
Bartiromo then wanted to know about the January 5, 2017 meeting with Obama that included Sally Yates, Jim Comey, James Clapper and John Brennan. 
“Well, the day before, Comey had found and McCabe had found the transcripts of Flynn’s call with Kislyak. And he briefed Clapper on it immediately. Clapper then immediately went and briefed President Obama on it,” Powell said. “Then they have the Oval Office meeting on the 5th. Comey admits in his testimony that the FBI are the people that unmasked General Flynn, our people, whatever that means. And at the meeting on the 5th, Sally Yates was stunned because Obama mentions to her out of the blue about the call and the transcript of the call. She knew nothing about it, because Comey hadn’t briefed DOJ [about Kislyak].”
Comey was sent the next day to brief President Trump about the salacious parts of the dossier “to set the news hook for BuzzFeed and CNN to run with the dossier they knew was a lie,” she explained. 
“Then Peter Strzok is watching a CNN report on that and texts about he and Priestap sitting there watching it and using it as a pretext to go interview some people,” Powell said. “So the whole thing was orchestrated and set up within the FBI, Clapper, Brennan, and in the Oval Office meeting that day with President Obama.”
Bartiromo asked if she thought it “goes all the way up to the top, to President Obama?”
“Absolutely,” Powell responded. 

 The attorney said she doesn’t know who will be charged—that John Durham and Attorney General William Barr.

FNC’s Pirro: ‘Obama Was in the Middle of the Plot to Take Down Flynn and Trump’

On Saturday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Justice,” host Jeanine Pirro reacted to the week’s news that the Department of Justice was dropping its case against former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.
Pirro used her “Opening Statement” segment to criticize all the actions that had led up to Flynn’s prosecution, and tied former President Barack Obama and his administration to it.
Transcript as follows:
PIRRO: The release this week of long-hidden transcripts fully exposed the left’s attempt at a coup d’etat albeit bloodless, but a coup nonetheless where a faction of the government tries to take down the leader of the country.
The evidence shows former President Barack Obama and the Obama-Biden administration were the hub of the bloodless coup.
Four spokes emanated from that hub, each with a man’s name on it — Rod Rosenstein in his scope memo gave his friend he appointed Special Counsel, Bob Mueller in the Russia investigation the names of Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, George Papadopoulos and Carter Page.
Each spoke was an effort to get that person to flip on the President. The primary objective, reverse the election of 2016.
The horror was not just in the treatment of these men, but the fact that Michael Flynn under the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation had already been ruled out as committing no crime, and that no derogatory information against him was unearthed.
But FBI agent Peter Strzok couldn’t have that. Flynn had to be destroyed. We know from the text messages between him and his lover, Lisa Page that POTUS — the President of the United States, then Obama — wants to know everything we’re doing. In other words, Obama was keeping tabs on the investigation.
So why? He was leaving the White House. Wasn’t his term over?
Yet the lives of these four men were ruined. General Michael Flynn, a decorated war hero, railroaded by a smug, arrogant FBI Director James Comey, wearing his Cardinal Comey mask, all giggly that he violated White House protocol and policy and that his Deputy, Andy McCabe told the three-star general he didn’t need a lawyer when Flynn was actually a target, and when he was denied his constitutional Miranda Rights.
And just as egregious, the FBI had already determined there was no basis and no predicate for the inquiry, let alone and investigation of General Flynn.
Now damning evidence against the FBI indicating they tried to get Flynn to lie to prosecute him or to get him fired was hidden or lost in the law firm of Flynn’s first attorneys who kept trying to get him to plead guilty.

So why the Flynn hatred? Barack Obama had been touting the killing of that old geezer, Osama bin Laden, and that Barack had al Qaeda on the run.
Flynn, under oath, said the opposite — that al Qaeda was making inroads in North Africa and training in the Middle East, after which the Obama administration actually fired him as Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
Flynn also contradicted that good old Susan Rice’s claim that Benghazi was a peaceful protest gone awry.
Obama hated Flynn so much that he warned incoming President Trump of two dangerous men: Kim Jong-un of North Korea and a three-star general named Michael Flynn.
He was afraid of Flynn as Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, who knew where the bodies in the Obama-Brennan-Clapper swamp were buried.
Flynn also made it known that as Trump’s incoming National Security adviser, he would be streamlining those 17 Intelligence Agencies.
And consider this. When Flynn was to be sentenced, Judge Emmet Sullivan actually asked if Mueller ever contemplated charging Flynn with treason.
Imagine the judge in sentencing Flynn for lying to an FBI agent, even when those FBI agents didn’t think he lied, suggesting the prosecutor consider a death penalty eligible crime when Flynn was facing five years only.
But the most damning evidence implicating Barack Obama is the reveal from the January 5, 2017 meeting in declassified FBI notes that Barack Obama met with James Comey and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, just after Brennan and Clapper had left the Oval Office.
Obama stated in front of Yates and Comey that he learned of the information about Flynn and the conversation with Kislyak about sanctions.
Clearly, the FBI coordinated very closely with Obama on the investigation of Michael Flynn, and according to Andy McCarthy in the National Review, Obama was surprised that Putin did not retaliate when he imposed sanctions on Russia.
And so Obama officials and the FBI 

 collaborated to invent a Russia collusion 

 narrative.
Sally Yates says that in that meeting, she recalled Comey previously mentioning the Logan Act. So, now we know just two weeks before incoming President Trump was to take office, Obama was discussing Flynn about Russia, an issue already determined by the FBI to be groundless.
Obama was in the middle of the plot to take down Flynn and Trump.
Now, there was a counterintelligence investigation of Flynn and Trump — counterintelligence investigations are done for Presidents so that they can protect the country versus criminal investigations, which are done to vindicate the rule of law.
The information of a counterintelligence investigation that Peter Strzok started against Michael Flynn and the Trump campaign were included every day in the President’s daily briefings of President Obama.
Susan Rice was the National Security adviser who would have been briefed by the FBI on the counterintelligence, and we assume that Obama knew, but now we know Obama actually knew of the takedown by the corrupt and dirty FBI agents.
Look, they lied to us. They did it on television, to the press and under oath. Truth plays no part in the taking down of a legitimately elected President. I’ve told you this before.
The Star Chamber in the sub-basement of the Capitol is just another place where lies were cultivated. These people lie wherever they go, all of them. Clapper not only lied when he testified about not spying on us, not wittingly. He lied about Russia.
Susan Rice not only lied about Benghazi and Rwanda and unmasking — she lied about Russia.
Adam Schiff, not only lies about having proof of Russia collusion, and lying to Congress about the Ukraine call. He had nothing on Russia, and he fought hard to prevent us from getting any of this information.
But that’s because what they said under oath was totally different.
And as for President Obama’s hatred of Donald Trump, when was the last time you recall a sitting President campaigning vigorously against the candidate of the opposing party for President?
When was the last time in American history that a sitting President said with venom on his lips that a candidate of the opposing party will never be President?
When was the last time you heard an ex-President actively campaign against a sitting President? Fundraisers are one thing, but Barack Obama is all in. He never stopped in his community activism against Trump.
Obama went after Trump harder than Bill Clinton. Obama rallied the Justice Department and the FBI Intelligence Communities. A sitting President saying a candidate of the opposing party is uniquely unqualified to be President and is helping terrorists is the epitome of Obama’s hatred against Trump.

Obama is panicking!


After seeming years of silence, and plenty of billionaire vacays, President Obama is on the warpath. Here's what the Washington Post is reporting:



Former president Barack Obama shared deep worries Friday about the Justice Department’s decision to drop its prosecution of ex-national security adviser Michael Flynn, telling old aides on a call that “our basic understanding of rule of law is at risk,” according to a recording obtained by Yahoo News and confirmed by an Obama spokesperson.



Obama also appeared to slam the Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic as an “absolute chaotic disaster,” offering the sort of blistering criticisms he has rarely aired in public. Obama said shortly before President Trump took office that he would only weigh in on his successor’s actions when he believes “our core values may be at stake.”
Obama was speaking to something called the "Obama Alumni Association," a real nod to the faculty lounge, but in reality, a likely flying monkey corps waiting for activation, the leaked phone call just the first step.
The New York Times, citing leaks, called Obama "deeply angered."
And if so, that's not surprising. A huge Obama White House effort to spy on a political opponent and prevent him from serving in public office is slowly being exposed.
So the ridiculous carp about President Trump's coronavirus crisis leadership being 'absolute chaos' is nonsense, a naked bid to knock down President Trump. 
And his Flynn complaint is complete nonsense. The Flynn prosecution was dropped because of naked prosecutorial misconduct. Prosecutors do that because they know their cases aren't going to win.
Rule of law? Since when does prosecutorial misconduct of the worst kind merit not dropping a tainted case? Bad cases based on this reason are thrown out all the time, (just ask former California prosecutor Kamala Harris, whose cases stand to be thrown out wholesale based on prosecutorial misconduct). Anybody who's going to prosecute others has got to be damn clean or the system loses credibility. For Obama to 'warn' about rule of law, as if that were something he ever cared about before this, is disingenuous. It's also projecting, a typical passive-aggressive Obama maneuver to say the least. That Obama arranged for this leak, under cover of 'private conversation' is simply a joke.
Obama, actually, is panicking.
The release of congressional interview transcripts, the declassification of some elements of the DoJ Inspector General investigation, and the news of the FISA warrant abuses on Carter Page, as well as the railroading of Gen. Michael Flynn, pretty well tell a story of Obama being the big power behind all of these legal abuses. That would explain Obama's sudden fascination with 'rule of law' as a shield to cover his own lawless acts, and the emerging revelation that he himself was the ringleader of all the bids to take down President Trump, using the power of the government itself.
Sundance over at Conservative Treehouse has a very deep dive (it took me an hour to read it, but it never got boring) into the roots of Obama's rage and why he's running scared and starting to fight back. It begins:
On March 9, 2016, oversight personnel doing a review of FBI system access were alerted to thousands of unauthorized search queries of specific U.S. persons within the NSA database.
NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers was made aware.
Subsequently NSA Director Rogers initiated a full compliance review of the system to identify who was doing the searches; & what searches were being conducted.
On April 18, 2016, following the preliminary audit results, Director Rogers shut down all FBI contractor access to the database after he learned FISA-702 “about”(17) and “to/from”(16) search queries were being done without authorization. Thus begins the first discovery of a much bigger background story.
 Once that access was taken away, the unmaskings from the inside began, and as soon as those were found to be all using the same identifiers, with 85% noncompliant with existing standards, according to a judicial report, the Obamatons then turned to the Steele dossier, which they all knew was fake, but also knew was useful as as a means of getting the intelligence and law enforcement agencies involved and engaging in real spying on Americans, taking down Trump operatives one by one. 
Sundance has precise plot point dated meetings that happened after every measure to shut down the Obama use of the government apparat for domestic political purposes went into effect - visits by Fusion GPS to the White House, the contractors who seem to have been involved in the spying on Sharyl Attkisson's computer. After that, the activation of human sources to target Trump officials, and the whole thing is absolutely outrageous. Better still, Mike Rogers, the NSA chief cited above, has been doing a lot of talking to John Durham, the investigator appointed to sort this thing out with real prosecutorial powers.
It's a major threat to the Obama edifice, and it's significant that Obama got word out about his rage through the phone meeting with the "Obama alumni," and not some reporter or think tank or political pal. The flying monkeys are the ones most likely to be prosecuted for real rule of law violations, so Obama's phone call was a rallying cry to throw the shade on Trump instead - tossing in a lie-repeated-a-thousand-times about supposed Trumpian chaos on coronavirus. So much for rule of law.

Obama’s carefully released phone call shows an ex-President returning to battle

On Friday, Obama arranged to have leaked a phone call in which he criticized the Justice Department’s decision to dismiss its case against Flynn. He also crudely criticized President Trump’s response to the Wuhan Virus. Several writers, most notably Jonathan Turley (a Democrat who’s getting red-pilled fast), caught Obama’s factual and legal errors. That’s not the worst thing about Obama’s leaked call, though. The worst thing is that he’s deliberately stirring up factionalism, something no previous president has ever done. To a history major, it’s the papacy’s Schism all over again.
In 1305, the French King, Philip IV, succeeded in getting a Frenchman, Clement V, elected as pope. Clement, who was unpopular in Rome, moved the papacy to Avignon in 1309. For the next 67 years, a series of French popes held court at Avignon.  
In 1376, Pope Gregory XI returned to Rome. Unhappy Italian cities waged war against the new pope, who responded with ferocity. Eventually, there were two popes, one in Rome and one in Avignon, creating a period known as the Schism or Babylonian Exile, which lasted from 1378 to 1417. It was a nightmare for Catholic Europe because, in an era when the well-being of one's soul was of utmost importance, people did not know to which authority they should look.
Fast forward several hundred years, and we have Obama, a president who now stands exposed as having tried to take down his duly elected successor. His walled Kalorama house is the new Avignon. To strengthen his position, Obama, who has kept a low(ish) profile for the past three years, is aggressively reinserting himself into presidential politics. He’s not just touting Joe as a viable candidate; he’s tackling policy.
On Friday, Yahoo reported that it had gained access to a recording of Obama’s conversation with past-administration officials. (“Gained access to” means “deliberately leaked to a friendly media outlet.”) In it, Obama staked out a couple of highly political positions:
“The news over the last 24 hours I think has been somewhat downplayed — about the Justice Department dropping charges against Michael Flynn,” Obama said in a web talk with members of the Obama Alumni Association.
“And the fact that there is no precedent that anybody can find for someone who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free. That’s the kind of stuff where you begin to get worried that basic — not just institutional norms — but our basic understanding of rule of law is at risk. And when you start moving in those directions, it can accelerate pretty quickly as we’ve seen in other places.”

“This election that’s coming up on every level is so important because what we’re going to be battling is not just a particular individual or a political party. What we’re fighting against is these long-term trends in which being selfish, being tribal, being divided, and seeing others as an enemy — that has become a stronger impulse in American life. And by the way, we’re seeing that internationally as well. It’s part of the reason why the response to this global crisis has been so anemic and spotty. It would have been bad even with the best of governments. It has been an absolute chaotic disaster when that mindset — of ‘what’s in it for me’ and ‘to heck with everybody else’ — when that mindset is operationalized in our government.
“That’s why, I, by the way, am going to be spending as much time as necessary and campaigning as hard as I can for Joe Biden,” he added.
Those statements weren’t for the “Obama Alumni Association.” They were for the American people.
Jonathan Turley, an honest Democrat who must be increasingly disillusioned with his party, tweeted that Obama’s statement was rife with errors:

Second, we now know Obama discussed charging Flynn under the Logan Act which has never been used successfully to convict anyone and is flagrantly unconstitutional. Third, this reaffirms reports that Obama was personally invested in this effort. Finally, there is precedent...







There is a specific rule allowing for this motion under Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 48(a). There are specific Supreme Court cases like Rinaldi v. United States addressing the standard for such dismissals....







The Justice Department has dismissed cases in the past including the Stevens case.That was requested by President Obama's own Attorney General Eric Holder for the same reason: misconduct by prosecutors. It was done before the same judge, Judge Sullivan. How is that for precedent?




While it’s true that both Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton broke with two hundred years of precedent by refusing to go away quietly after their presidencies ended, neither crudely and openly attacked subsequent Republican administrations. They advanced their own policies and enjoyed the media’s continuing adulation, but they weren’t trying to set up a separate, shadow presidency. Obama, however, has quietly been running the Democrat party from his home and now, with his sins being aired in public, he’s decided that he too must go public, knowing that his friends in the media will help him every step of the way.
Obama’s actions are a dangerous precedent in America, creating a whole new level of factionalism in an already divided nation. A resounding Trump victory in November will be an excellent way to nip this shadow president in the bud.
