Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents arrested a group of Iranian migrants who illegally crossed the border from Mexico into Arizona on Monday. Agents identified the group of Special Interest Aliens as six males and five females.

Yuma Station agents patrolling the border near San Luis, Arizona on Monday evening encountered a group of migrants who illegally entered the U.S. from Mexico near the Salinity Canal. The agents identified the group of 11 migrants as Iranian citizens, according to information obtained from Yuma Sector Border Patrol officials.

Agents arrested the group and transported them to the Yuma Station for processing and a background investigation. Officials reported they arrested five women and six men. They did not disclose the ages of the migrants.

“The primary mission of the Border Patrol is to prevent nefarious people and devices from entering the United States,” Yuma Sector officials stated. “Iran is a designated Special Interest Country and the agents of Yuma Sector work diligently to protect our borders for the safety of our nation.”

The Yuma Sector continues to lead the nation in the apprehension of Iranian illegal aliens, officials stated. During the last fiscal year, which ended on September 30, 2020, Yuma Sector agents arrested eight Iranians. This compares to a total of 14 from the other eight sectors along the U.S. southwest border with Mexico. So far this fiscal year, they arrested a total of 14 Iranian nationals in this single sector.

Arizona AG Sues Biden’s DHS for ‘Unconscionable’ Halt on Deportations

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich has filed suit against President Joe Biden’s administration for its Department of Homeland Security (DHS) memo that seeks to halt deportations of illegal aliens for at least 100 days.

Hours after taking office on January 20, Biden signed an executive order that halts deportations of most illegal aliens for at least 100 days. The order came as illegal immigration has spiked in recent months and a migrant caravan heads to the United States-Mexico border in the hopes of taking advantage of the Biden administration’s lax enforcement policies.

In response, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against the administration and a federal judge has temporarily blocked the order from taking effect.

Now, Brnovich has filed a similar lawsuit against Biden’s DHS for the deportation halt, arguing that the policy violates federal immigration and the state of Arizona’s agreement with the agency. Brnovich’s office said that within three days of the policy taking effect, DHS released 27 illegal aliens from their custody in the Phoenix, Arizona region.

“Law enforcement officials have told the AGO that many of the individuals released were not properly tested for COVID-19, nor did DHS try to coordinate with local health or police agencies,” Brnovich’s office wrote in a news release.

“It is unconscionable for DHS to release potentially dangerous detainees into our state, especially when no efforts are made to coordinate with applicable courts and probation departments,” Brnovich said. “I am asking the court to enforce the law.”

Brnovich’s office writes that the policy will further strain local Arizona hospitals and social services intended for residents.

“These new executive actions have restarted the mass flow of migrants to our border and will soon have a significant impact on the resources of local governments,” Yuma County Sheriff Leon Wilmot said in a statement. It continued:

Under this moratorium on deportations, hundreds, and soon to be thousands, of migrants will potentially be turned loose in Arizona as well as other Border communities without any means of testing for communicable diseases including COVID-19. Systems in many smaller communities are already operating near full capacity and potentially overwhelming them runs contrary to the COVID-19 mitigation plan we were promised.

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court in Arizona. The case number is 2:21-cv-00186-DLR.

Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 80 migrants at four separate human smuggling checkpoints. The agents recovered the migrants from packed commercial vehicles at interior immigration checkpoints.

Laredo West Station Border Patrol agents assigned to the Highway 83 checkpoint on January 30 observed a white tract0r-trailer approaching for inspection. During the initial screening, a Border Patrol K-9 alerted to an odor it is trained to detect coming from the trailer, according to information obtained from Laredo Sector Border Patrol officials.

The agents referred the driver to a secondary inspection station. Agents unlocked the trailer to carry out a physical search. Inside, they found 42 migrants. None of the 42 locked inside the trailer with poor ventilation wore any kind of personal protection equipment to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, officials reported.

An immigration interview identified the 42 migrants as having traveled to the U.S. from Mexico and Guatemala. The agents placed the migrants under arrest for illegal entry into the U.S. They also arrested the U.S. citizen driver and seized the tractor-trailer rig.

In three other incidents tweeted by Laredo Sector Chief Patrol Agent Matthew Hudak above, agents apprehended another 41 migrants who were dangerously stashed inside commercial transport vehicles.

Hudak reported a substantial increase in the discovery of human smuggling attempts at checkpoints in his sector. Since October 1, 2020, his agents, with the help of their K-9 crews, apprehended 3,136 persons at interior checkpoints.

Border Patrol officials report they are still expelling migrants apprehended after illegally entering the U.S. under Title 42 Coronavirus protection protocols put in place by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Reports: Biden’s Deputies Reopen ‘Catch and Release’ for Migrant Families

President Joe Biden’s border deputies are releasing migrant women and children into the United States, according to BorderReport.com.

Most of the catch-and-release migrants are likely heading north to meet their husbands and fathers who have already traveled into the United States to take jobs and wages from blue-collar Americans during a deep recession that has largely exempted white-collar workers. Many of the American blue-collars who lose jobs and wages to the extra supply of foreign labor voted for Biden in 2020.

BorderReports.com reported February 3:

McAllen Mayor Jim Darling on Tuesday told Border Report that city officials met with U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials, who told them last week that family units — undocumented migrants traveling with children who cross into South Texas — are now being paroled into the United States as they await their asylum proceedings. This is what occurred during previous border security apprehensions known as “catch and release,” when migrants were allowed to remain in the United States during their immigration proceedings however many years that may take.

Team Brownsville, a group that helps migrants move north, reported on its Facebook page.

There’s nothing that escapes people’s notice in the {Mexican migrant] camp in this time of connectivity, and they already know that CBP is releasing some families at our Brownsville bus station. We don’t know the specifics of why there is an increase in people leaving CBP custody to travel to their sponsors, but we have received about 50 people a day at our bus station for the past several days.

The relaunch of catch-and-release comes as Biden and his university-credentialled progressive deputies impose a “family unification” priority on the nation’s immigration laws, which were originally created to preserve Americans’ civil right to a national labor market.

The Biden priority exploits the asylum laws that were intended to help a small number of foreign people into the United States claim asylum.

Under President Barack Obama, the asylum inflow was expanded to allow people with little evidence or with claims unrelated to government persecution. The rising inflow caused massive delays in court processing, so prompting agencies to release many migrants to the U.S. labor market years before their asylum claims could be heard. In turn, the catch and release process allowed many migrants to finance their trip to the United States with home-country mortgages on farms and homes while being confident they could repay the loan with dollars earned in U.S. jobs.

President Donald Trump told his deputies to end the catch and release process, causing a sudden crash in migration numbers by early 2020.

However, Biden is signaling to his progressive deputies that he wants migrants to be released into the United States where they can field jobs while they wait for a day in asylum court. Biden is also removing Trump rules that bar the immigration of poor migrants.

The reports say that the migrants are being released into the United States regardless of coronavirus risks, despite Biden’s apparent decision to preserve the Title 42 health rule that bars the entry of people from Mexico. BorderReports.com said:

Darling said that adult migrants traveling with children who were apprehended illegally crossing the Rio Grande into South Texas were being released by U.S. Border Patrol agents at the bus station in downtown McAllen. After release, city officials are immediately taking the migrants across the street to the Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley’s Humanitarian Respite Center, where they are receiving a free COVID-19 test. Once cleared by the tests, the migrants are boarding buses bound for cities elsewhere with the promise of appearing for scheduled U.S. immigration court hearings.

“They are doing [disease] testing at the Respite Center before they get on buses,” Darling said. “We also have reached out to Greyhound and are working to get more buses because we expect a jump in numbers.”

The Team Brownsville facebook site reported:

We are stocking the bus station with backs packs with a pillow, blanket, toiletries, and a snack bag for the cross country trip. It’s like deja vu pre- MPP, but we can’t go into the bus station as we did before and give assistance with the bus changes. Local volunteers are dropping off supplies and occasionally shuttling people to hotels or the airport, with masks and hand sanitizer all around.

Many people have asked about volunteering here in Brownsville. Our answer right now is that we have the same high level of covid19 cases here as many parts of the country., so we can’t accept out-of-town volunteers.

Some of the migrants are so poor they will need further aid when they arrive at their target cities and towns, the Brownsville group reported:

Volunteers will eventually be needed countrywide to receive these families, orient them, and help them adjust to their new homes. Too often, we’ve gotten desperate calls from families who have arrived at their sponsor’s home only to realize that there is no room, not enough money to feed everyone, and no resources to help.

Darling did not respond to emails from Breitbart News.

Biden officials are also preparing a new reception center for younger migrants who claim the legal status of “Unaccompanied Alien Children.” Many of the young migrants hope to join parents or relatives in the United States, often to take jobs in the growing child labor workforce.

The economic migration into Americans’ jobs is expected to grow rapidly as coyotes escort more fee-paying migrants through the emerging “family unification” policy loophole in U.S. border laws. On February 2, Biden signed an Executive Order that creates the new “Family Unification” directive:

Section 1.  Policy.  It is the policy of my Administration to respect and value the integrity of families seeking to enter the United States. … My Administration will protect family unity and ensure that children entering the United States are not separated from their families, except in the most extreme circumstances where a separation is clearly necessary for the safety and well-being of the child or is required by law.

Roughly half of the 3.5 million migrants who arrived between 2014 and 2020 are still in the United States, according to a December report by the Department of Homeland Security.

With migrant-friendly officers at the Democrat-run border, illegal migration routes will remain a de facto obstacle-course immigration system for blue-collar migrants — if they survive the chaotic Hunger Games trail of loanscoyotescartelsrapedesertsweatherborder lawsbarriersrescuerstransportjudges, and cheap-labor employers.

The government-delivered inflow of migrant’ spouses and children helps to discourage residents illegals from returning home to their families. Their return would cause problems for the many employers that prefer to hire compliant migrants instead of Americans, but their return would provide jobs and higher wages for Americans. In 2015, President Barack Obama adopted a similar policy for foreign college graduate visa workers. His deputies create work permits for the resident spouses of H-1B workers who are working for years while they wait for their employer to deliver promised green cards. The resulting H4EAD program now keeps perhaps 250,000 spouses of white-collar workers in jobs, mostly in the white-collar job needed by U.S. graduates.

For years, a wide variety of pollsters have shown deep and broad opposition to labor migration — or the hiring of temporary contract workers into the jobs sought by young U.S. graduates.

The multiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedpriority-driven, and solidarity-themed opposition to labor migration coexists with generally favorable personal feelings toward legal immigrants and immigration in theory.

The deep public opposition is built on the widespread recognition that migration moves money from employees to employers, from families to investors, from young to old, from children to their parents, from homebuyers to real estate investors, and from the central states to the coastal states.

Mo Brooks on Amnesty: ‘Power Grab’ Giving ‘Massive Election Advantage’ to Democrats

Joe Biden (with Kamala Harris) Accepts the Nomination for the Democratic Party's Ticket for President of the United States - Wilmington, DE - August 20, 2020

President Joe Biden and Democrats seek amnesty for millions of illegal aliens to get electoral advantage, said Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) on Wednesday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

Brooks described Democrats’ amnesty pursuit as an effort to push the electorate to the left.

“Past history suggests that in this election, in November, you had anywhere from 900,000 to 1.7 million illegal aliens illegally voting in the American election,” he said. “There’s another study that suggests that this type of voter votes Democrat 80 percent, Republican 20 percent, giving Democrats to 60 percent advantage.”

“What you’re seeing with Biden administration is an effort to dilute the votes of current American citizens by bringing in people who are born in other countries, knowing full well that if they can supplant American voters with newly citizenised foreign-born voters, that will be a massive election advantage for Democratic candidates,” Brooks added.

“That’s what it’s really all about,” Brooks determined. “Bottom line, the fact that it may cost hundreds of billions of dollars in additional welfare benefits [is] immaterial to the Biden administration or to the socialists that he represents. The fact that, say, over the last couple of years, roughly 2,000 Americans are dead at the hands of illegal aliens — on American soil, no less — that also is not something that the socialists factor into their decision. It’s purely a power grab.”

LISTEN:

Brooks contrasted Democrats’ ostensibly public health-based advocacy for lockdowns and shutdowns to reduce COVID-19 transmission with their approach towards border security and immigration.

“Only in the socialist states like New York and Massachusetts and Illinois and California, do you have such a concern with COVID-19 that you are willing to shut down your economy to a much greater degree than in other parts of America,” Brooks remarked.

“If [Democrats] are going to perceive COVID-19 as that great of a risk that it outweighs the damage done to the economies of these various cities and states around the country, one would think that they would also have a concern about COVID-19 being transmitted into the United States from illegal aliens who illegally cross our borders and into the United States,” Brooks said.

“Unfortunately, the Democrats are anything if not hypocrites, and they won’t support [border security] because it decreases the power grab that is based on bringing in a lot of foreign individuals who, overall, are much more heavily reliant on welfare benefits than American citizens are,” Brooks concluded.

Foreigners from south of the U.S.-Mexico border are more likely to “vote for the socialist doctrines that … the Democratic Party now espouses” if given amnesty and citizenship, Brooks noted.

Exclusive — Sen. Tom Cotton Releases DREAM Act Analysis: Work Permits for Millions of Illegal Aliens, ‘Ignores Criminal Records’

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) will on Wednesday release a detailed analysis of the DREAM Act, showing that the leftist policy would undermine American workers’ economic opportunities and the safety of American families.

The document, which Breitbart News has obtained exclusively, reveals the push for a DREAM Act would grant upwards of 2 million illegal aliens work permits immediately and eventually full citizenship.

The document from Cotton’s office, a fact sheet exposing the detrimental impact of such a policy, opens by noting that there is a renewed push for a DREAM Act amnesty now that President Joe Biden’s broader legislative immigration plan is failing. Biden introduced a mass-scale amnesty for every illegal alien in America on the first day of his administration, but the measure has received serious blowback from Republicans who are unlikely to embrace that broad package. To overcome a Senate filibuster, Democrats would need to woo at least 10 Senate Republicans to join their ranks on amnesty — and recent reports indicate there is not a single GOP senator willing to get on board with that.

As such, the Democrats and some establishment Republicans have begun shifting the focus not just to executive actions the Biden administration can take — from the White House and from newly-confirmed Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas — but also to slimmer more focused immigration legislation like a DREAM Act amnesty.

The document is the first and most significant pushback from Republicans on the Biden amnesty plan in any respect from members on Capitol Hill. Some GOP members have given press comments and interviews, or have been working with their various colleagues and outside groups and allies to craft strategies to fight amnesty. But this next step is a serious factual deconstruction of the open borders agenda’s biggest wishlist item. It’s also a sign that while the right has been recovering from post-election shock and a variety of crises as the Biden Administration takes over, Republicans are gearing up for a fight and ready to hold the line against amnesty and open borders pushes. Expect Cotton to play a major role in leading that battle.

“Lawmakers are re-introducing the DREAM Act, a costly amnesty program that would legalize millions of illegal aliens,” Cotton’s office’s document provided to Breitbart News exclusively reads. “By granting work permits and citizenship, the bill would put illegal aliens in direct competition with Americans for jobs during the pandemic.”

The document conducts a legislative analysis of the most recent iteration of the DREAM Act, from back in the 116th Congress when it was introduced in 2019. That bill is very similar to whatever lawmakers will introduce if and when they pursue a DREAM Act strategy to break up the Biden amnesty agenda into little pieces rather than the original failing broad bill.

Citing the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), Cotton’s document notes that the DREAM Act would give “work permits and eventual citizenship” to more than 2 million illegal aliens. That number includes many more illegal aliens than applied for or received former President Barack Obama’s first executive amnesty, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

“After receiving citizenship, amnesty recipients could then sponsor family members for citizenship as well, including parents who brought them to the United States illegally,” Cotton’s office notes.

The DREAM Act also, according to Cotton’s office, “ignores criminal records” of the illegal aliens being granted amnesty including whether they have “multiple criminal convictions at the federal or state level” and especially whether they committed “serious, violent felonies pled down to lesser offenses.”

“The bill even allows the Secretary of Homeland Security to issue amnesty waivers for human traffickers and those who voted illegally in our elections,” Cotton’s document says.

The DREAM Act also does not, per Cotton’s document, require any documentation from the illegal aliens being granted amnesty “to prove that the alien has been in the United States long enough to qualify for amnesty.” The only requirement, Cotton’s team notes, is “just a statement from two friends” of the illegal alien vouching for them.

The document continues by citing the CBO analysis to lay out how the DREAM Act would cost American taxpayers $26 billion to amnesty these illegal aliens, because it would “require American taxpayers to pay for health insurance subsidies, tax credits, and welfare programs for illegal aliens.”

And perhaps most importantly, the vast majority of those who would be amnestied under the DREAM Act that leftist and establishment politicians are pursuing are not even children. In fact, they are overwhelmingly adults over the age of 20 years old.

The document notes the DREAM Act “provides amnesty largely to adults, not children.”

“In fact, 87% of DACA recipients are older than 20, and approximately 130,000 DACA recipients are in their 30s, according to data from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services [USCIS],” the document concludes, citing a document from USCIS.
