Peter Schweizer’s new book Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win tells the story of how Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s (D-CA) husband Richard Blum was part owner of a Chinese firm that allegedly sold computers with spyware chips to the U.S. military. The military has never been able to calculate how much sensitive data these computers allowed China to steal.

A hefty chapter of Red-Handed is devoted to tracking Feinstein’s long and expensive relationship with Communist China. The senator has made herself very, very useful to Beijing — so useful that she actually tried to excuse the Tiananmen Square massacre by suggesting China only called in combat troops to murder thousands of demonstrators because it ran out of cops.

In a total coincidence that could not possibly have been related in any way to Feinstein’s friendship with the tyrants of Beijing, her husband did a great deal of lucrative business with Chinese companies, including entities run by the Communist government and linked to the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

One of those deals saw Blum becoming a major investor in a computer company that was founded by researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), an institution tied to both the Chinese government and the PLA. The company was originally called Legend, but is better known by its second name, Lenovo.

Lenovo grew into a major player in the worldwide computer marketplace after it acquired IBM’s line of personal computer products in 2005. Lenovo’s deal to buy IBM’s business included $350 million in investments from three American private equity firms. One of them was Richard Blum’s Newbridge Capital.

Some lawmakers worried Lenovo’s purchase of IBM’s personal computer line could jeopardize U.S. national security and transfer advanced American computer technology to China. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who sat on the Senate Intelligence Committee at the time, was not one of them.

It did not take long for security agencies across the Western world — including the U.S., U.K., Canada, New Zealand, and Australia — to discover security vulnerabilities in Lenovo products and ban them from sensitive operations. The U.S. State Department announced it would not allow Lenovo computers to connect to its classified networks in 2006, barely a year after the IBM acquisition.

Somehow Lenovo still managed to sell a large number of laptop computers to the U.S. military, which discovered that many of those machines included motherboard chips that “would record all the data that was being inputted into that laptop and send it back to China,” as a computer operations manager for the U.S. Marines in Iraq put it.

A year after that testimony was delivered, Blum sold his stake in Lenovo.

The Pentagon released an audit in 2019 that found the Department of Defense (DoD) still has not formally banned computers from Lenovo, now the largest personal computer company in China, even though the Department of Homeland Security and the Joint Chiefs of Staff Intelligence Directorate have both identified the machines as cyberespionage risks. The U.S. Air Force purchased 1,378 Lenovo products worth $1.9 million as recently as 2018.

Schweizer: Pelosi Family ‘Has Done a Lot of Business in China Since the COVID Outbreak’ — Won’t Allow Hearings on COVID Origins

1:42

On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer and author of Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, said House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) went soft from her previous anti-Chinese Communist Party position after “her husband and son started seeking deals in Beijing.”

He added that while her family “has done a lot of business in China since the COVID outbreak,” she had refused to allow congressional hearings to discuss the origins of the COVID virus.

Schweizer said, “Nancy Pelosi used to be pretty anti-Chinese Communist Party early in her career, and then her husband and son started seeking deals in Beijing. And it’s interesting, you’ll remember the last time China held the Olympics in 2008, Nancy Pelosi was in favor of a boycott. And then, lo and behold, her husband was partner in a couple of limousine companies that got major contracts in China to ferry VIPs around the Olympics, and Nancy Pelosi suddenly went from boycotting the Olympics to saying that she was opposed to a boycott for the Olympics.”

“Look, Nancy Pelosi’s family has done a lot of business in China since the COVID outbreak,” he added. “She has refused to allow a single congressional hearing to even discuss the origins of the COVID virus. Why on earth would the Speaker of the House take that position?”

PIG PARASITE LYING LAWYERS - CNN’s Anderson Cooper Introduced Michael Avenatti to Book Agent at Center of Porn Star Fraud Trial

CNN’s Anderson Cooper Introduced Michael Avenatti to Book Agent at Center of Porn Star Fraud Trial

'He said he was a dynamic, energetic guy'

CNN's Anderson Cooper introduced Michael Avenatti to the literary agent who is now a key witness in Avenatti's fraud trial, in which the onetime Democratic frontrunner stands accused of stealing money from porn star Stormy Daniels.

Luke Janklow, the agent who arranged a lucrative book deal for Daniels in 2018, testified on Monday that Cooper introduced him to Avenatti, who was serving as the porn star's lawyer at the time. "He said he was a dynamic, energetic guy," Janklow said of Cooper, his friend since childhood.

Janklow, heir to the Warner Bros. fortune, and Cooper, a Vanderbilt scion, were just a couple of rich kids growing up in New York City who would occasionally get "reprimanded" by police for setting off fireworks in Central Park. The pair attended the prestigious Dalton School on the Upper East Side.

Cooper was among the CNN personalities who gave Avenatti almost unlimited airtime in 2018 to say mean things about President Donald Trump. They even hung out together outside of work. For example, the porn star lawyer was spotted cavorting with a number of CNN celebs at a Hamptons soiree hosted by anchor Don Lemon. Brian Stelter, the network's chief misinformation watchdog, once argued Avenatti was "a serious contender" to win the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020.

After Cooper facilitated the introduction in March 2018, Janklow worked with Avenatti to secure an $800,000 advance for Daniels's book, Full Disclosure, in which she detailed her alleged affair with Trump. Janklow, who is not accused of any wrongdoing, was responsible for disbursing the advance, which was divided into four installments.

Prosecutors allege that beginning with the second installment payment, Avenatti directed Janklow to send the money to an account he controlled. When Janklow requested authorization from Daniels, the attorney provided a fraudulent letter "signed" by Daniels, who was unaware of the arrangement. Avenatti then used the money to cover payroll expenses at his law firm, and on personal travel expenses, as well as the $3,900 monthly lease payment on his Ferrari.

After Daniels asked where her money was, Avenatti used personal funds to pay the porn star the second installment she was owed and subsequently persuaded Janklow to wire the third installment into his account several weeks before it was due. He proceeded to spend almost all of it, while repeatedly lying to Daniels about why she hadn't been paid. For example, he told her the publisher (St. Martin's Press) was "resisting making the third payment due to poor sales," insisted he was "working them and threatening litigation," and urged her not to contact Janklow or the publisher directly.

Avenatti had stolen nearly $300,000 by the time Daniels and Janklow grew wise to the fraud scheme in February 2019. Over the next several months, Avenatti was charged with multiple counts of defrauding Daniels and other clients, as well as attempting to extort Nike to the tune of $25 million. He was convicted of the latter charge in July 2021 and sentenced to 30 months in prison.

While most well-adjusted human beings instantly and accurately assessed Avenatti to be a deranged charlatan, members of the mainstream media saw him as a "dynamic, energetic guy" with a message the American people urgently needed to hear. Years later, they remain flummoxed as to why public trust in the media continues to plummet.

On House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announcing that she’s seeking re-election, Cammack said, “All indicators have pointed the fact that Nancy Pelosi was going to retire, but let's just lay this little nugget out there. She has been in Congress longer than I have been alive. She has been in office for 34 years, and in that 34 years, we can point to the fact that things have not gotten better since she has been in office.

Beijing Nancy: Pelosi Shifted Her China Stance as Her Family Scored Beijing Deals

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi softened her previous criticisms of China’s communist regime as her husband and son scored big business deals in China, Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer’s new book reveals.

The bombshell revelations about Pelosi in Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win also come as the Democrat stalwart is under fire for stock trading returns made by her and her husband that regularly outperform the market. Now, it appears as though her family’s business opportunities in China have influenced her policy views on America’s chief adversary, something sure to fuel the fire to rein in corruption in Congress.

Pelosi’s family, Schweizer reveals, has had millions of dollars on the line when it comes to China, and the Speaker seems to have altered her positions on China’s communist regime from a policy perspective as these investments grew and took shape.

Pelosi began her career as tough on China and still occasionally rips the Chinese Communist Party for human rights abuses.

“The longtime member of Congress and Speaker of the House was, early in her career, a particularly harsh critic of China’s human rights practices,” Schweizer writes. “She continues to be vocal about some issues, but her positions have softened as her family has sought and received lucrative commercial opportunities in mainland China.”

In the early 1990s, Schweizer recounts how she even pulled off a protest in Tiananmen Square that infuriated Chinese officials:

In 1991, as a junior member of Congress, Pelosi found herself in Tiananmen Square. She was part of a congressional delegation visiting Beijing barely two years after the horrific events had un- folded. Pelosi had been in meetings with Chinese officials, but with a couple of colleagues, she covertly carried a banner into the middle of the square and unfurled it in front of a small crowd and the media. “To those who died for Democracy in China,” it read. The Chinese police were furious. They pushed through the crowd to seize the banner. “I started running,” Pelosi recalled. “And my colleagues, some of them, got a little roughed up. The press got treated worse because they had cameras, and they were detained.” The Foreign Ministry denounced the event as a “premeditated farce.

This move was not an isolated incident; Pelosi actually was tough on China for years.

Schweizer also recounts how Pelosi fought against giving China most-favored-nation trade status and against allowing China entry into the World Trade Organization. He also noted that in 2005, Pelosi spoke on the House floor in support of  an amendment to block the Chinese National Overseas Oil Company (CNOOC), a Chinese government-backed entity, from purchasing Unocal, a California-based oil company.

But, Schweizer writes, Pelosi’s “views began to moderate.” A March 2009 Politico story quotes people close to Pelosi noticing a “subtle shift” in her approach to China. Then-Politico reporter reporter Glenn Thrush wrote that while Pelosi “won’t back down on her core commitment to democratization in the country,” according to people close to her “she’s also not looking to pick new fights with China’s leaders— or with the Obama Administration as it seeks to strengthen U.S.- China relations.”

The Wall Street Journal reported two months after that Politico story in May 2009 that Pelosi told the U.S.-China Clean Energy Forum in Beijing that the reason for her “shift” on China was, as Schweizer writes, “a result, in part, of issues like climate change that the two countries needed to tackle together.”

“I think this climate crisis is game changing for the U.S.-China relationship,” Pelosi said at the event. “It is an opportunity we cannot miss.”

While the “climate crisis” is Pelosi’s stated reason for softening on China, Schweizer argues in Red-Handed that “there were perhaps other factors at work,” noting that Pelosi’s “husband and son started seeking and securing deals on mainland China.”

Schweizer explains that Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, “became a partner investor in Matthews International Capital Management, a pioneer in the Chinese investment market.” Matthews International Capital Management was run by Pelosi’s “friend and political supporter” William Hambrecht, a mega donor who has given millions of dollars to Democrats and Democrat-aligned causes.

Hambrecht first launched a Chinese growth fund as far back as 1995, and Schweizer notes that Hambrecht was optimistic that technology—especially the internet—would help explode growth there.

The China Fund, Schweizer continues, is now Matthews’ “best-known investment fund.” Schweizer quotes Matthews’ China Fund fact sheet as saying, “Under normal market conditions, the Matthews China Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its net assets, which include borrowings for investment purposes, in the common and preferred stocks of companies located in China.”

The Pelosi family has had millions of dollars invested in just this particular operation, Schweizer notes.

“In addition to Paul serving on the board, the Pelosis had a big chunk of money invested in Matthews,” Schweizer writes. “In 2010, the Pelosis held between $5 million and $25 million in a Matthews fund ‘specializing in Asian investment.’ Paul Pelosi received partnership income between $100,000 and $1 million.”

The Matthews fund is not the only Pelosi family business opportunity tied to China. Pelosi’s husband was involved with multiple limousine services, including one that catered to the 2008 summer Olympics in Beijing.

“The Pelosis had previously become involved in other China ventures as well. Paul Pelosi’s classmate from Georgetown, Vincent Wolfington, set up a limousine service called Global Ambassador Concierge, which catered to ultra-high net-worth individuals traveling around the world,” Schweizer writes. “One big market for Global: the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics.”

Originally, Pelosi had been opposed Beijing hosting the Olympic games in 2008. Schweizer notes that at the time, Pelosi was “arguing that [China’s] human rights record should prevent it from such an honor.” But she appears to have changed her position after her husband had skin in the game business-wise.

“The year after her husband bought shares in Global Ambassador Concierge, she reversed course and opposed a boycott of Beijing’s hosting of the games,” Schweizer writes.

Global was not the only limousine service that Pelosi’s husband invested in and profited from. “The Pelosis also bought a stake in another limousine service, City Car Services (CCS), which Wolfington’s son apparently ran,” Schweizer writes. “SEC documents show Paul Pelosi as a member of the board of directors of CCS.”

Pelosi’s husband was not alone in the family for having business interests in China that clearly conflicted with Pelosi’s duty as a member of, and leader in, Congress. Her son Paul Pelosi Jr. also had several business opportunities in China.

“Nancy Pelosi’s son, Paul Pelosi Jr., was also looking for commercial opportunities on the mainland, and he embarked on a series of ventures that involved Chinese investors and clients,” Schweizer writes:

In June 2010, he became the chair of the Universal Energy and Services Group Advisory Board for a company called Tree Top Industries. Upon announcing his appointment, the company declared that Paul Jr. and the company chairman “plan to travel to Vietnam and China to meet potential investors and are attempting to arrange meetings in Washington DC with appropriate federal agencies.”

Tree Top eventually changed its name to Global Tech Industries Group, and Paul Pelosi Jr. remains a shareholder in the company. The firm has long sought partnerships in China.

Paul Pelosi Jr. joined the board of another company, International Media Acquisition Corp., with ambitious plans in China. “We believe India and other emerging economics markets, as well as China, represent excellent markets in which to find strong candidates for our initial business combination because of their relatively high growth rates,” stated the firm when it filed.

Schweizer concludes the Pelosi section of Red-Handed by noting that when the coronavirus pandemic hit the United States after emerging from Wuhan, China, the Democrat Speaker used her position to block any and all investigation into the origins of the virus.

“Beginning in 2020 and extending for more than a year, U.S. Speaker of the House Pelosi blocked efforts by Congress to investigate the origins of the COVID-19 virus,” Schweizer writes. “With much of the evidence pointing to the possibility of a lab leak of the virus in Wuhan Pelosi ordered the Democrats in Congress not to cooperate with any efforts to investigate the matter.”

Pelosi had agreed with House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy to impanel a special committee of Congress to investigate China, something McCarthy worked for over a year on before Pelosi withdrew Democrat support in early 2020 as the first case of coronavirus devastated the United States for a pandemic that continues to this day. McCarthy, for his part, continued forward with a Republican-only commission to investigate China; and that panel produced a report in the lead-up to the 2020 election. McCarthy has said that if and when Republicans retake the House majority after the 2022 midterm elections—and thereby retire Pelosi as Speaker, who is using her position to stand in the way of holding China accountable—that he intends to create a select committee on China in the Congress next year.

Pelosi announced on Tuesday that, unlike 29 and counting other House Democrats, she intends to seek reelection in 2022.

JOE AND NANCY'S BIGGEST RECEPIANTS OF SOCIALISM FOR WALL STREET

In 2021, Speaker Pelosi disclosed her husband Paul Pelosi has traded stocks valued up to $5 million. The stock trades are primarily in big-tech, such as Apple, Amazon, Tesla, and Microsoft stocks.

Too many people in our government are essentially American oligarchs. They use politics, not for their country’s advancement, but for their own. Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi both have enriched themselves and their families while leaving Americans in worse condition with every passing year. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) stock trades have reportedly become of great interest to those looking to beat the market in January.

While Speaker Pelosi has been recognized as the “best trader on the Hill,” online searches for “Pelosi stock trades” have hit a record high, Reuters reported.

Those on social media platforms like YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, and Tiktok reportedly study Pelosi’s trade disclosures after they are published on the House website.

In 2021, Speaker Pelosi disclosed her husband Paul Pelosi has traded stocks valued up to $5 million. The stock trades are primarily in big-tech, such as Apple, Amazon, Tesla, and Microsoft stocks.

The Pelosis in July earned $4.8 million trading tech options. Speaker Pelosi denies she owns the stocks her husband trades.

Lawmakers and their family members are required to disclose trading activity within 45 days of the transaction, according to the 2012 STOCK Act.

But Reuters notes the “transaction reports are typically filed days after the actual purchases and sales, making it potentially difficult for traders aiming to mimic lawmakers’ specific trades.”

Speaker Pelosi is among numerous lawmakers that have reportedly beat the market.

According to UnusualWhales.com, Pelosi ranks as the sixth-best trader. Five Republicans have performed in the market better than Pelosi, including Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX):

Speaker Pelosi has defended lawmakers’ stock trades as participation in a “free-market economy.” Yet after taking heat from both sides of the aisle, she backed down and suggested last week that if members want to ban congressional stock trading, “I’m OK with that.”

In recent months, initiatives in Congress to ban lawmakers from trading stocks have picked up steam.

Donald Trump and even the Washington Post have condemned the practice. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is also reportedly considering a ban on stock trades by lawmakers.

Lawmakers in 2021 reportedly bought and sold nearly $290 million in equities alone. Senators reportedly sold stocks three times more often than purchasing them in 2021.

Polling has revealed 76 percent of voters believe congressional members and their spouses have an “unfair advantage” trading stocks. Five percent of voters supported lawmakers’ stock trading.

Exclusive: Matt Mowers Calls on Democrat Chris Pappas to Expand Ban on Insider Trading for Members, Spouses

New Hampshire’s First Congressional District Republican candidate Matt Mowers, looking to unseat vulnerable Democrat Rep. Chris Pappas, told Breitbart News that members of Congress and their immediate families should be banned from owning or trading individual stocks, with violators facing harsh penalties.

Mowers, who was once a senior White House adviser — working hand-in-glove with the Trump administration and then-secretary of state to advance the America First agenda and issues such as religious freedom, immigration, the border, and more — told Breitbart News that he calls on Rep. Chris Pappas (D-NH), his opponent and current member of Congress, to take action against members and their spouses for profiting on their corrupt insider trading practices.

“Once again, Pappas is all talk and no action. His biggest donor, Nancy Pelosi, and her spouse continue to make multi-million-dollar profits from corrupt insider trading practices,” said Mowers. “Instead of pushing meaningful reform, Pappas falls in line and protects business-as-usual in Washington, DC.”

Pappas has been labeled in the past, “Pelosi’s Personal Congressman,” after Breitbart News reported that federal fundraising records showed that Pelosi and her affiliated organizations funded 61 percent of the congressman’s campaign during the cycle from November 24, 2020, to December 31, 2020.

“While career politicians have made millions in office, everyday Americans struggle to get by,” Mowers continued. “Elected officials and their immediate family should be prohibited from owning or trading individual stocks — and all of their economic interests should be placed in a blind trust while they are in office.

Mowers called for some of the strictest punishments for members of Congress who knowingly violate the policy, adding that he will help the people of New Hampshire when he is elected to Congress.

“Any member of Congress found in violation of this policy should forfeit their salary and pay a 100 percent penalty on any profits made from the illegal trade,” Mowers added. “In Congress, I’ll put New Hampshire first and deliver real reforms that benefit middle-class families, not career politicians and the rest of the swamp elite.”

Mowers, who appears to be the first candidate to come out this strongly against members of Congress and their family members from trading stocks, was also the first candidate in the country in January 2020 to call for a travel ban from China before the country started to shut down.

Last week, former President Donald Trump told Breitbart News during a press call that he backs the bipartisan efforts to ban members of Congress from trading stocks. When asked about Pelosi’s stock trades that have outperformed the market, he said, “She has inside information. It’s not right. It’s not appropriate. It shouldn’t be.”

Similarly, a report from CNBC, Monday evening, revealed Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and other top House Republicans had discussed ways to campaign on limiting members of Congress from trading stocks and noted that they would try and pass legislation when they regain the majority in the House.

Tom Cotton: ‘Red-Handed’ Revelations ‘Alarming’

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) called a bombshell report about Hunter Biden from Peter Schweizer’s new book, Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, “alarming, but not surprising.”

Cotton tweeted out a Breitbart News article that cites Red-Handed and reports that a “Chinese global energy company,” with ties to Chinese intelligence, sent Hunter Biden almost $6 million in 2017.

The report, authored by Breitbart News’s Kristina Wong, reads in part:

The firm, now defunct, was led by Ye Jianming, a wealthy and connected Chinese businessman who was chairman and majority owner of the global energy company CEFC China Energy.

Furthermore, by July 2017, CEFC began making interest-free, forgivable loans to the Biden family. CEFC executive Zhao Running wrote that $5 million was intended as the money lent to the BD family,” not just Hunter Biden.

“This $5 million loan to the BD [Biden] family is interest-free,” Zhao wrote.

Schweizer notes that “interest-free loans provide tremendous leverage because the lender can demand its money back if it is displeased by any action.”

In August 2017, CEFC Infrastructure Investment LLC sent Hunter Biden’s law firm, Owasco, $100.000. Four days later, the firm wired $5 million to another entity controlled by Ye, which then started sending regular payment to Owasco. Biden then transferred $1.4 million of that money to a firm called Lion Hall Group, which was controlled by his uncle James Biden and his wife, Sara Biden.

According to Red-Handed, The Biden family received “$31 million from five deals in China, all with individuals with direct ties to the Chinese spy apparatus,” reports Breitbart News’s Politics Editor Emma-Jo Morris.

Citing Red-Handed, Morris writes:

Multiple financiers with direct ties to Chinese intelligence partnered with Hunter Biden during and after his father’s time as Vice President — including the former head of the Ministry of State Security and the head of foreign intelligence recruitment — and some of those relationships remain intact, according to Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, by Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer.

Schweizer explains that Beijing saw a financial relationship with the Bidens as an opening for “elite capture,” which allowed Hunter Biden to secure meetings and score major deals with people in the highest levels of Chinese financial institutions and the Chinese Communist Party — and in return, they would be able to leverage the Bidens’ power for their interests.

Schweizer’s book also chronicles how donations from communist China to the University of Pennsylvania almost tripled after the university announced in February of 2017 it was launching the “Biden Center,” Breitbart News’s John Hayward reports.

“In the three years before the announcement, the university received around $15 million. In the three years after, the total was close to $40 million. The latter number is $60 million from China if you include contracts,” writes Schweizer in Red-Handed.

Hayward reports:

Some of those donors were anonymous, but declared donors included the state-owned China Merchants Bank, and a company called Cathay Fortune owned by “a secretive Chinese billionaire who appears to have strong links with the Communist Party” named Yu Yong.

Cathay Fortune is especially interesting because it has a controlling interest in China Molybdenum, a mineral producer with Chinese military contracts that teamed up with Hunter Biden’s investment fund to invest in an African copper mine.

For a time, Anthony Blinken – now Biden’s secretary of state – “served as the center’s managing director before heading off to work on the presidential campaign in 2019,” Schweizer writes.

Hayward notes that in March of 2021, Secretary of State Blinken “was famously ambushed and curb-stomped by Chinese diplomats during his first bilateral conference with them.”

Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win was published by Harper-Collins and released on January 25. It has already claimed “the #1 bestseller spot on both Barnes & Noble and Amazon across all book categories and genres,” Breitbart News reports. Schweizer, a senior contributor to Breitbart News and president of the Government Accountability Institute (GAI), is also the bestselling author of Throw Them All Out, Clinton Cash, and Secret Empires.

Peter Schweizer’s new book Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win includes the story of how donations from Communist China to the University of Pennsylvania almost tripled after the university established a “Biden Center” in 2017 and gave former Vice President Joe Biden a professorship.

As the book lays out in detail, the Biden family has a very extensive business relationship with Chinese Communist Party elites, and those elites were not shy about celebrating Joe Biden’s election in 2020 as a golden opportunity to further develop their influence over American government agencies and institutions. (One Chinese conference in November 2020 was so ebullient on this subject that Beijing prudently decided to nuke its video off the Internet just as it began to go viral.)

Three years before Joe Biden was elected president, the University of Pennsylvania made him a professor and established the “Biden Center” to promote his vision of “global leadership” — a vision, Schweizer notes, that viewed Russia as the great looming threat to world peace, but had absolutely nothing negative to say about China.

This should be especially amusing to those who remember the Obama-Biden ticket flinging adolescent taunts at rival candidate Mitt Romney in 2012 because he was supposedly stuck in the 1980s and obsessed with our good friends in Moscow as a Cold War boogeyman. It is, however, consistent with Biden’s stubborn refusal to see Communist China as either a threat to Western security or a competitor for American business interests.

The Biden Center at the University of Pennsylvania was more than just a website that railed against Russia’s dictator while praising China’s as a treasured partner in globalism. The Center hired people, including Antony Blinken, who went on to become Biden’s Secretary of State — a role in which he was famously ambushed and curb-stomped by Chinese diplomats during his first bilateral conference with them in March.

Blinken’s work for the Biden Center appears to have left him completely unprepared for China’s emissaries shutting him down with a furious lecture on America’s alleged human rights violations. This should come as no surprise, for as Red-Handed outlines, the financing of the Biden Center was murky, but a great deal of documented Chinese money began flowing to the University of Pennsylvania after it was opened.

“In the three years before the announcement, the university received around $15 million. In the three years after, the total was close to $40 million. The latter number is $60 million from China if you include contracts,” Schweizer writes.

As Red-Handed explains in great detail, the Chinese regime and Communist Party billionaires have spent a great deal of money developing influence over American higher education. At the very least, the return on these investments was a Biden administration staffed with people who expected China to play softball — and were absolutely stunned when the first diplomatic pitches they lobbed to Beijing were returned with smoking line drives right into their faces.

REVEALED: Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s Husband Partly Owned a Chinese Company That Sold Spyware to U.S. Military

Cammack: Single Adult Male Migrants Cross the Border with No ID, Given a Notarized Paper That Says ‘I Am Who I Say I Am’

(CNSNews.com) – Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.) said Wednesday that the groups of single adult male migrants being transported to other parts of the country are “not the family units” that the Biden administration “has played in front of cameras, saying these are people fleeing desperate situations.”

Instead, many don’t undergo background checks or even have identification. They just get “a notarized piece of paper” saying “I am who I say I am,” and they’re able to board a plane and go anywhere in the United States, the congresswoman told Fox Business’s “Mornings with Maria Bartiromo.”

“This is not the family units that is the administration has played in front of cameras, saying these are people fleeing desperate situations. No, there are a lot of young single-adult males that have crossed, and I personally have seen them at the border myself. The background checks are certainly not sufficient,” she said.

“Many of these people are coming with zero ID, and they get a notarized piece of paper at the border that says I am who I say I am, and they are able to board a plane with no ID that, of course, all Americans citizens have to use to get on a plane or go basically anywhere in the United States. However, this group of people is exempt, and this, again, just points back to this administration's total disregard for the law,” Cammack said.

“There's zero consequences, and the most disturbing thing that I've seen thus far is the fact that we have less than 300 people that have been logged into the system for the Remain in Mexico policy, which, of course, the courts ruled the administration had to enforce and uphold months ago. We are in an invasion at this point here on our southwest border, and the administration is doing nothing to curb this,” she added.

Host Maria Bartiromo asked Cammack how the Biden administration can say they are restarting the Remain in Mexico program when there are only 267 migrants who have applied but 2 million migrants were apprehended crossing the border last year.

“That's the thing, Maria. They can't. This is absolutely a total failure, and it is a crisis that was generated by the Biden administration. Yesterday, Biden is getting ice cream. Meanwhile, on a daily basis in just one of the nine sectors, we’re seeing upwards of just 2,000 people coming across and being apprehended, and as you just hit on, that doesn't include the gotaways or the known terrorists, the known individuals that are on the terrorist watch list,” Cammack said.

“This is why we continually say every single town in America is a border town, because they are getting on buses and planes and trains and coming to a town near you, and it is at your expense as an American taxpayer, because they've already expended the $100 million out of FEMA's pocket that has gone to pay for all of these flights and all of this travel. It is absolutely shameful, and it has got to end, because it's putting every single American at risk,” she said.

“And I think she feared more than anything that she was going to be a lame duck speaker, and if there's anything that we know about Nancy Pelosi it’s that she revels in control, because that is what her agenda, that is what Biden's agenda is all about - dependency and control, and she has been losing grip on her caucus. We know that she has seen the writing on the wall with the mass number of retirements. This is gonna be a red wave that nobody has seen, and she is holding on for dear life at this point,” she said.
