James Comer (R-KY) aired on Friday’s edition of the Fox Business Network’s “Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street,” host Maria Bartiromo said that the Biden administration, in addition to allowing the sale of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to China, has pushed electric cars, a good whose top producer is based in China, while also eliminating the Department of Justice’s China Initiative and floating lifting tariffs on China.
Bartiromo stated, [relevant remarks begin around 2:20] “I know growing up in America is going to be much different than growing up in an environment where Communist China is the number one superpower. And here we have Joe Biden selling — sending our oil from the strategic reserves partly to China. You have them pushing electric vehicles, but never mentioning Tesla, even though it’s — was the number one electric producer. Now, the number one producer is actually Hong Kong-based. And of course, now we have these threats and the Biden administration wants to remove tariffs just a few months after they eliminated the China Initiative. There are questions as to why the administration is not doing more to crack down on China, and critics are pointing to Hunter Biden’s business dealings with Chinese companies.”

Report: Joe Biden Sold Nearly One Million Barrels from U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve to CCP-Owned Oil Company Linked to Hunter Biden Firm
President Joe Biden’s administration sold 950,000 barrels of oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve to a Chinese state-owned gas company that has financial ties to a private equity firm cofounded by Hunter Biden, according to a Washington Free Beacon report.
In April, Biden’s Department of Energy announced the nearly one million barrel sale to Unipec, which is the trading arm of Sinopec. Sinopec is wholly owned and operated by the Chinese Communist Party.
Unipec reportedly purchases oil across the globe and then apparently sells it through its Sinopec Marketing subsidiary.
According to Unipec’s LinkedIn page:
UNIPEC America, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of China International United Petroleum and Chemical Co. Ltd., better known as UNIPEC. UNIPEC is the trading arm of SINOPEC, currently No.2 largest company on the Global Fortune 500 list in 2019.
Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, reportedly has financial ties to the CCP-owned Sinopec. A private equity firm Hunter Biden cofounded reportedly purchased a nearly $2 billion stake in Sinopec Marketing in 2015.

As the Free Beacon reported:
Biden is connected to Sinopec through BHR Partners, a private equity firm he cofounded in 2013. BHR bought a $1.7 billion stake in Sinopec Marketing in 2015. Biden at one point owned a 10 percent stake in BHR Partners through his wholly owned firm, Skaneateles, LLC.
It is unclear whether the younger Biden still has a financial stake in BHR Partners. Biden’s White House has repeatedly claimed throughout 2019 and 2020 that Hunter Biden was out of the equity firm, but Chinese corporate records show he still has a stake in the company.
Biden’s White House has dodged questions about Hunter Biden’s stake in BHR, directing the press to Hunter Biden’s representatives for more information.
“On the first, the president’s son is not an employee of the federal government, so I’d point you to his representatives,” former White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in December. “I think I answered your question. You can go to the representative of the person who is not an employee of the federal government.”

Biden’s administration said the sale would “address the pain Americans are feeling at the pump” and fight back against “Putin’s price hike,” as the administration calls it.
However, Unipec has continued to fuel the Russian economy by purchasing oil from the country, despite promises that it would purchase “no more Russian oil going forward.”
As recent as May, Unipec “significantly increased the number of hired tankers to ship a key crude from eastern Russia,” according to Bloomberg.
Daniel Turner, founder of Power the Future, blasted Biden’s move and told the Washington Free Beacon that it highlights the Biden family’s “relationship with China.”
“We were assured Biden was releasing this oil to America so it could be refined for gasoline to drive down prices at the pump. So right off the bat, they’re just lying to the American people,” Turner said. “What they’re saying they did and what they did are not remotely related.”

On Thursday’s broadcast of Newsmax TV’s “John Bachman Now,” Rep. Pat Fallon (R-TX) reacted to the reported sale of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to China by stating that the use of the SPR should require authorization from Congress so presidents can’t use it for political reasons, and arguing that the move is also “why we want to get to the bottom of” Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals.
Fallon stated, “Well, Joe Biden has proven that he puts America last and — unlike President Trump with his policies of putting America first. Our office, we filed H.R. 7996, John, to protect the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. And — it’s meant for a national emergency or if you have a natural disaster. So, our bill, if it was passed into law, would require an act of Congress to tap into it. It shouldn’t be used by fiat or by decree for political expediency.”
Host John Bachman then asked, “Do you think this has anything at all to do with Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals with China?”
Fallon responded, “Well, I hope not. Because that’s high crimes and misdemeanors, and that’s treason. And that’s why we want to get to the bottom of this.”

Nat’l Economic Council Head Deese: Lifting Tariffs on China Fits with Defending ‘Liberal World Order’ – Must ‘Be Smarter’ on Fighting China
During an interview aired on Thursday’s edition of Bloomberg TV’s “Surveillance,” White House National Economic Council Director Brian Deese responded to a question on how the administration can maintain that high gas prices are part of defending the post-World War II “liberal world order” while also weighing removing tariffs on the authoritarian Chinese Communist Party that the Biden administration has accused of committing genocide by saying that we have “to be smarter” about how we are “tougher and clearer” on China’s human rights abuses and non-market practices and President Donald Trump’s China trade policy didn’t really help the economy.
Deese began by explaining his comments on the liberal world order by stating, “That’s a concept that Republicans and Democrats have embraced for years and it’s about democracy. It’s about the democracy and the democratic tradition that grew out of World War II and that has served our national security interests and economic interests well. And standing up for democracy is something that this president feels strongly about. And so, we are going to fight to bring prices down. We’re going to fight to get increased oil supply on the market. But what we’re not going to do is to suggest that the only way to do that is to actually step away from the Ukrainian people, to step away from fighting for democracy and everything that that [unintelligible].”
Co-host Jonathan Ferro then asked, “If standing up for democracy is truly paramount, and you’ve quite clearly just suggested it is, why is this administration considering removing tariffs on a Chinese Communist Party which is anything but a democracy, and is also a government that you’ve accused of genocide? Why is that a consideration? And how does that reconcile with this view that this is about standing up for democracy?”
Deese responded, “Our economic policy should be about promoting economic security for American workers, American businesses, and American families. And so, we have to look at everything through that lens. In the prior administration, they took an approach to escalating trade tensions and a trade war with China that ultimately didn’t serve that purpose. It didn’t help our farmers and our ranchers. It didn’t help many sectors of the economy. So, President Biden came into office committed to the proposition that we need to get tough on China. There are places where we need to be tougher and clearer about their non-market practices, about their human rights abuses. But we also need to be smarter about how to do this as well.”
Ferro then asked, “Why is that smarter? … You’ve accused the Chinese Communist Party of genocide. You’re saying that what is paramount here is defending democracy and that defending the liberal world order is more important than the pain that people feel at the pump. And ultimately, this administration’s considering removing tariffs. I wasn’t convinced by the last answer. I don’t think many others will [be] either. This is an awkward moment, I know. But I really need to understand from you why it makes sense for this administration to consider removing tariffs on a country that you’re accusing of genocide.”
Deese answered, “First of all, I want to — you mischaracterized my position so I want to clarify. Bringing prices down for the American people is the president’s top priority. He’s focused on it every day, and it’s because he understands the pain that people are feeling at the gas pump and around the kitchen table. At the same time, he does not believe that the way to do that would be to step back from our democratic values or to step back from protecting the Ukrainians against the invasion from Vladimir Putin. He does not believe that that is an acceptable or an appropriate choice. So, given that, our focus is on how can we actually advance the ball. And you’re seeing the president in action right now, doing that. The actions that he’s taken around oil supply. The actions that he has taken around refineries. The actions that he is calling for around tax reductions, they all would make a difference.”

FBI: China Looking to ‘Insulate’ Economy From Sanctions That Would Follow Invasion of Taiwan
(CNSNews.com) – The Chinese government is “drawing all sorts of lessons” from the sanctions imposed on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine, and looking for ways to “insulate their economy” should Beijing face similar measures over any move on Taiwan, FBI Director Christopher Wray said on Wednesday.
“We’ve seen China looking for ways to insulate their economy against potential sanctions, trying to cushion themselves from harm if they do anything to draw the ire of the international community,” he said in a speech to business leaders in London.
“In our world, we call that kind of behavior a clue.”
If China did try to forcibly take over Taiwan, Wray said, “it would represent one of the most horrific business disruptions the world has ever seen.”
Wray noted that a recent Yale study assessed that Western businesses had lost $59 billion in Russia because of the conflict in Ukraine, and added that those losses are growing by the day.
“And if China does invade Taiwan, we could see the same thing again, at a much larger scale,” he said.
“Just as in Russia, Western investments built over years could become hostages, capital stranded, supply chains and relationships disrupted. Companies are caught between sanctions and Chinese law forbidding compliance with them.”
Wray’s remarks on Taiwan came in a broader speech on Chinese government spying on a massive scale, targeting Western businesses, technologies, and intellectual property.
He was joined by Ken McCallum, the director-general of Britain’s domestic intelligence agency, MI5. McCallum said the two agencies had worked closely since both were established more than a century ago, but this was the first time their leaders had ever shared a public platform.
“We’re doing so to send the clearest signal we can on a massive shared challenge – China,” the MI5 chief said.
Wray said that while both the FBI and MI5 were “laser-focused” on the threat posed by Russia, “I want to talk today about another complex, enduring, and pervasive danger to the kinds of innovative businesses we have here in the audience: We consistently see that it’s the Chinese government that poses the biggest long-term threat to our economic and national security.”
“And by ‘our,’ I mean both of our nations, along with our allies in Europe and elsewhere.”
Wray warned the business leaders in the audience that Beijing “is set on stealing your technology – whatever it is that makes your industry tick – and using it to undercut your business and dominate your market.”
“And they’re set on using every tool at their disposal to do it,” he said, citing Chinese government intelligence operations to steal trade secrets, a massively resourced hacking program, and schemes to create business partnerships that “position their proxies to steal valuable technology.”
After the speech, Wray told reporters that he has had no reason to think that China’s “interest in Taiwan has abated in any fashion.”
But he expressed the hope that Beijing would learn lessons about what happens “when you overplay your hand,” which is what he indicated Russia had done in the case of Ukraine – “driving like-minded countries together, in a way that is pretty historic.”
Beijing views Taiwan not as a sovereign country but as a rebellious province whose return to the “one China” is inevitable, and has not ruled out the use of force if necessary to achieve that end.
The carefully-calibrated U.S. policy is that the status quo should not be altered by force, while U.S. law requires the federal government to provide Taiwan with the military means to defend itself against unprovoked aggression.
‘Develop the capability to attack Taiwan’
Tensions in the Taiwan Strait have risen to a higher degree than usual since last fall, with China significantly stepping up sorties of warplanes, including fighter jets and strategic bombers, in the skies near the island.
Rhetoric has also become more heated. President Biden raised eyebrows when, during a visit to the region in May, he replied “yes” when asked if he was willing “to get involved militarily to defend Taiwan” if China invaded. (The White House said afterwards Biden was not outlining a change in policy regarding Taiwan.)
Last month China’s defense minister warned – at an international security conference attended by Defense Secretary Gen. Lloyd Austin – that China “will fight to the very end” any attempt to “split Taiwan from China.”
Earlier this week, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley said the U.S. was watching the situation “very closely,” but that there were no indications or warnings that a Chinese attack on Taiwan was imminent.
“In terms of capability I think China clearly is developing a capability,” Milley told the BBC.
“President Xi [Jinping] has mentioned that in public forums, he’s mentioned it in speeches, that he has challenged the PLA [People's Liberation Army] to develop the capability to attack Taiwan at some point in time,” he said.
“And whether they would or not, though, is a political choice, a policy choice. And that will be based off of how the Chinese view the cost-risk benefit at the time.”
Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on the sidelines of a G20 ministerial in Bali this week.
Asked Wednesday if Taiwan will be discussed in the Blinken-Wang meeting, Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian did not answer directly, but said that the Taiwan question “has always been the most important and sensitive issue in China-U.S. relations.
He demanded that the U.S. abide by its previous commitments regarding Taiwan, “stop encouraging and supporting Taiwan independence, and take concrete actions to safeguard the political foundation of China-U.S. relations.”

Trump: Joe Biden Cutting U.S. Tariffs ‘Would Be Greatest Gift’ to China
Former President Trump says the potential for President Joe Biden to cut United States tariffs on China “would be the greatest gift that China could ever receive.”
For months, as Breitbart News has reported, Biden, along with his top globalists, has suggested that they may soon cut billions of dollars worth of U.S. tariffs on China-made products that were first imposed by Trump.
Most recently, reports have circulated that Biden is considering eliminating U.S. tariffs on $10 billion worth of China-made products like bicycles. This would come even as economists have admitted that cutting U.S. tariffs will have little-to-no impact on inflation.
In a statement on Tuesday, Trump blasted a potential move as a “terrible mistake” that would reward multinational corporations for outsourcing American manufacturing to China:
Believe it or not, it is looking more and more like the United States is getting ready to remove the tariffs on China. This would be a terrible mistake. These tariffs have brought many billions of dollars to our country, and made affected businesses, such as steel, viable again in the United States.
Doing this would be the greatest gift that China could ever receive. Our farmers alone got $28 billion as a gift from me, that came directly out of the tariffs because of the way they were abused by China. Taking these Tariffs off would be a clear signal that the United States is weak, ineffective, and doing business as usual.
Trump also called out Senate Republicans and Democrats who have lobbied Biden for months to cut U.S. tariffs on China. Sens. Mike Crapo (R-ID) and Todd Young (R-IN) have both sought to reduce the tariffs, as well as Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA).
“Certain Senators are fighting hard to get this done, even saying such ridiculous things as it ’causes inflation,'” Trump said. “Those Senators should be questioned as to their real motives!”
Analysis by Breitbart News has shown that tariffs do not raise prices on Americans. The latest research from the Economic Policy Institute (EPI) notes that there is no connection between U.S. tariffs and current inflation.
In June, the United Steelworkers (USW) wrote to Biden, pleading with him not to cut U.S. tariffs on China:
Too many U.S. companies have failed to take needed actions to address the threat posed by Chinese Communist Party policies. Many continue to outsource production, and research and development, undermining U.S. competitiveness and national security interests. They have failed to respond to the signals clearly and continuously sent by the CCP that it is not interested in competing, but in winning and dominating key industries. Our government must act in the national interest to strengthen our economy for the future. [Emphasis added]
From 2001 to 2018, U.S. free trade with China eliminated 3.7 million American jobs from the economy — 2.8 million of which were lost in American manufacturing. During that same period, at least 50,000 American manufacturing plants closed down.
Those massive job losses have coincided with a booming U.S.-China trade deficit. In 1985, before China entered the WTO, the U.S. trade deficit with China totaled $6 billion. In 2019, the U.S. trade deficit with China totaled more than $345 billion.
Meanwhile, a study from 2019 found that permanent U.S. tariffs of 25 percent on all Chinese imports would create more than a million American jobs in five years. American manufacturing is vital to the U.S. economy, as every manufacturing job supports an additional 7.4 American jobs in other industries.

President Joe Biden is traveling to Ohio on Wednesday, even as his administration is preparing to lift some of the economic tariffs on China.

Congressman Tim Ryan (D-OH), who is running for Senate in Ohio, lambasted the president in June for even considering the idea.
“Letting up on a communist government that’s made it their decades-long mission to undercut American manufacturing isn’t how we bring costs down,” he wrote on social media. “It’s these kinds of irresponsible trade policies that got us here in the first place.”
Ryan, however, previously opposed Trump’s tariffs on China. In 2018, he criticized Trump for inflicting “maximum damage on the U.S. economy for minimal gain.”
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Tuesday no decision had been made on tariffs, but criticized former President Donald Trump for imposing tariffs on China “in such a haphazard way, in a non-strategic way.”
“We are — want to make sure that we have the right approach,” she said.
Trump lambasted Biden in a statement about his plan to lift tariffs, calling the idea the “greatest gift” to China.
“Taking these Tariffs off would be a clear signal that the United States is weak, ineffective, and doing business as usual,” he wrote.

The whole idea of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), which is owned by the U.S. government, specifically the U.S. Department of Energy, is to hold on to about 700 million barrels of oil in the event of an emergency or disruption.
But now, because His Fraudulency Joe Biden has closed pipelines, killed oil and gas leases, refused to allow refining to expand, and has gone to war with affordable energy; the SPR is releasing about a million gallons a day into the U.S. economy.
Instead of doing something permanent and useful; instead of solving the crisis he created (that put a gallon of gas over five dollars), he’s looking to steady gas prices his collapsing poll numbers by squandering our reserves.
That’s bad enough, so bad the SPR is now at its lowest level since 1986.
Well, when it comes to punishing the American people he so obviously loathes, that’s bad enough is never enough for Biden. Nope. He always finds a way to take his contempt for America and Americans a step further—which he has. Get this:
More than 5 million barrels of oil that were part of a historic U.S. emergency reserves release to lower domestic fuel prices were exported to Europe and Asia last month, according to data and sources, even as U.S. gasoline and diesel prices hit record highs.

The fourth-largest U.S. oil refiner, Phillips 66, shipped about 470,000 barrels of sour crude from the Big Hill SPR storage site in Texas to Trieste, Italy, according to U.S. Customs data. Trieste is home to a pipeline that sends oil to refineries in central Europe.
Atlantic Trading & Marketing (ATMI), an arm of French oil major TotalEnergies, exported 2 cargoes of 560,000 barrels each, the data showed.
Oh, and, “Cargoes of SPR crude were also headed to the Netherlands and to a Reliance refinery in India, an industry source said. A third cargo headed to China, another source said.”

Why would Biden do something like this?
Why would Biden okay this when 1) this oil is about protecting America’s national security, and 2) this oil can help bring down American gas prices?
The asking of the question gives you the answer. The answer is right there in the words “America” and “Americans.”
Joe Biden and the Democrats hate America and Americans. They see us as the problem. You see, we drive cars and live in big houses. So do they, but they see themselves as the elite, as overseers, and our overseers don’t want the rest of us to be comfortable or independent. They want us needy and dependent because that’s where they derive their fascist power from.
Joe Biden and the Democrats will always put foreign countries and foreigners above Americans, especially the millions of illegal aliens they hope to replace us with.
They hate us. They hate everything about us. We’re too self-sufficient, we just want to be left alone, we’re about to vote a buttload of them out of office, and when it comes to their sick, perverted, we-want-to-have-sex-with-your-children trans agenda, we are not buying it.
So, Joe Biden and Democrats are punishing us for the sin of wanting to be left alone and wanting our children to be left alone. They are deliberately increasing gas prices to hurt us, and one way to increase gas prices is to ship our oil to foreign countries. Another way is to flood the country with millions of illegals who consume oil (and housing), creating more scarcity and higher prices.

Biden State Department Taps Beijing Bull To Run China Shop

The Biden administration's pick to advise the State Department on "strategic competition" with Beijing chairs an investment think tank that urged Americans to triple their investments in China.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Friday selected BlackRock Investment Institute chairman and Obama administration national security adviser Tom Donilon to co-chair the Foreign Affairs Policy Board amid the State Department’s pivot to China.
Donilon’s work at BlackRock could pose a conflict of interest for the board, which provides "advice, feedback, and perspectives" to senior State Department officials on foreign policy matters. Under his leadership, the Investment Institute has urged investors to dramatically increase their stakes in Chinese companies. What’s more, BlackRock views "strategic competition" with China as bad for the company’s bottom line.
"Strategic competition between the U.S. and China and resulting tensions have also contributed to uncertainty in the geopolitical and regulatory landscapes," reads BlackRock’s most recent annual report. The firm listed U.S.-Chinese competition as a factor that could hurt its revenue and profit. BlackRock opened a mutual fund in China in September, making it the first American firm approved to sell financial products there.
BlackRock’s Chinese entanglements have raised concerns that the company is undermining the United States. The company has come under fire for investing in sanctioned Chinese companies, including surveillance giant Hikvision. Even progressive megadonor George Soros called BlackRock’s investments in China a "tragic mistake" that would damage U.S. national security interests.
Donilon has sided with China in the debate over tariffs imposed during the Trump administration. He chided government officials in 2019 about the tariffs and inaccurately warned that they would cause a global recession.
"Future generations of Americans will judge today’s leaders harshly for squandering this moment," Donilon wrote in an article touted by China Daily, a mouthpiece for the Chinese Communist Party.
Tariffs "are hurting U.S. businesses, consumers, and farmers," Donilon wrote. "They are alienating U.S. allies. And, analysts warn, they are increasing the risk of a global recession."
The Foreign Affairs Policy Board plays a crucial role at the State Department. The department says the board is "necessary to supplement the advice and support the Secretary gets from the Department" on a broad range of international issues. Its meetings are closed to the public due to "discussions on sensitive, and often classified, topics and materials."
Tariffs are likely to be an area of focus for the board, as will the administration’s position on China’s human rights record and increased military activity in the Pacific and South China Sea. Blinken has accused Beijing of waging genocide against Muslims in western China. Other officials, including climate envoy John Kerry, have refused to confront Chinese leaders on the topic for fear of hurting cooperative efforts on climate change.
Donilon, whom Blinken has called his "dear friend," is the latest in a string of Biden allies to land an influential advisory post. The State Department picked Dominic Ng, the chairman of East West Bank, to represent the United States on the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation’s Business Advisory Council. Ng, a major Biden donor, has criticized U.S. foreign policy toward China and served on organizations linked to the Chinese Communist Party.
Biden selected his longtime friend, Chris Dodd, to serve as special adviser for the Summit of the Americas. Dodd signed an ethics agreement because his lobbying firm represents some of the countries represented at the summit. Biden appointed another major donor, Joe Kiani, to serve on the Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.
Neither the State Department nor BlackRock returned requests for comment.
Biden Whistleblower Emails: Chinese Energy Company Gave $5 Million Non-Secured, Forgivable Loan to Biden ‘Family'
A 2017 email from a top official with a Chinese energy firm, provided by a whistleblower to U.S. Senate investigators, demonstrates the terms of an agreement included officials with the firm giving a $5 million non-secured, forgivable loan to the Biden “family.”
The email, sent to SinoHawk Holdings CEO Tony Bobulinski, shows how a top official with CEFC Energy — a now bankrupt and defunct energy company based in China — offered to wire $10 million into an account to begin operations, $5 million worth of which would be a non-secured forgivable loan to the “BD Family,” which means the Biden family.
Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer spent four and a half hours with Bobulinski before he went public, and discussed these communications in particular regarding this loan during that meeting. According to Schweizer, the Chinese energy company officials were going to put $10 million into an account, $5 million of which was designated as a non-secured forgivable loan to the Biden family. Schweizer said this would constitute significant leverage the Chinese energy company officials would have over the Biden family.
“In a way, this would give CEFC greater leverage over the Biden family than simply giving them a gift or bribe because if they were dissatisfied with what the Bidens were doing they could ask for their money back,” Schweizer told Breitbart News when asked about the arrangement upon the public release of Bobulinski’s emails.
The email also says that $5 million loan is “interest free” and asks how that $5 million would be used, and if used up, whether CEFC should lend more money to the Biden family.
This email further fleshes out details surrounding the controversial arrangement first uncovered by U.S. Senate investigators in a recent Homeland Security Committee report, and later further uncovered by a bombshell New York Post story on emails retrieved from Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Bobulinski’s new emails add to the story by including terms of the financial arrangement behind the wire transfer that CEFC officials made into a firm aligned with the Bidens that then made significant payments to Hunter Biden’s own firm, a wire transfer and financial payments that were first exposed by Senate investigators. The New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop emails added more information to this questionable arrangement by revealing emails that showed how Biden associates intended to divvy up the cash from the Chinese investors.
These new emails from Bobulinski add more to the picture by showing that the agreement was that this payment would serve as a non-secured forgivable loan, and that the CEFC side of the arrangement understood that the then-forthcoming payment — which Senate investigators confirmed was made just two weeks after these discussions —would serve as a loan to the Biden “family,” not just to Hunter Biden.

This email is part of a broader trove of documents that Bobulinski provided to U.S. Senate investigators with the Homeland Security and Finance Committees, and also to media outlets including Breitbart News. Other media outlets are reporting on the emails as well.
According to the Senate Homeland Security Committee’s recent report, $5 million was wired directly into the account in question two weeks later — and then Hunter Biden’s firm spent the next year wiring $4.8 million from there into his own firm’s account:

CEFC was a controversial energy company, as Breitbart News has reported. “The owner of CEFC, Ye Jianming, was among the most ambitious of Chinese tycoons before his business empire collapsed and he vanished into the Communist nation’s shadowy prison system,” Breitbart News’ John Hayward wrote earlier this week. “Ye was once portrayed as one of China’s greatest rags-to-riches stories, a humble park ranger who began making successful oil investments in his twenties and became a billionaire before he hit 40. He was marketed as an affable businessman foreigners could feel safe making deals with, well-connected but not an obvious tool of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).”
CEFC is at the center of the burgeoning Biden scandal. When Bobulinski went public on Wednesday night, he was the first source on one of the emails that the New York Post published from Hunter Biden’s laptop retrieved from a computer repair store in Delaware. One such story that the Post published was about Hunter Biden and the Biden family seeking a deal with CEFC, and in those original emails James Gilliar of J2cR emails Bobulinski about “remunerations packages” related to the CEFC deal.
“I am the recipient of the email published seven days ago by the New York Post which showed a copy to Hunter Biden and Rob Walker. That email is genuine,” Bobulinski said in his statement issued publicly.
Bobulinski had been, sources familiar with the matter told Breitbart News, cooperating with the Wall Street Journal for an investigation it is working on. But since the Journal has not published its story several days later after its staff had indicated it would, Bobulinski decided to go public on his own on Wednesday night — and made clear he is cooperating with Senate investigators.
In the original email, published by the New York Post, from Hunter Biden’s laptop, Gilliar references a breakdown of how money acquired would be distributed throughout the firm of which Bobulinski was CEO. The email says at one point that “10 held by H for the big guy.”
In his nearly 700-word statement, Bobulinski confirmed the authenticity of that email and further explained its meeting including that “the big guy” was a reference to former Vice President Joe Biden, the 2020 Democrat presidential nominee, himself.
“What I am outlining is fact. I know it is fact because I lived it. I am the CEO of Sinohawk Holdings which was a partnership between the Chinese operating through CEFC/Chairman Ye and the Biden family,” Bobulinski said. “I was brought into the company to be the CEO by James Gilliar and Hunter Biden. The reference to ‘the big guy’ in the much publicized May 13, 2017 email is in fact a reference to Joe Biden. The other ‘JB’ referenced in that email is Jim Biden, Joe’s brother. Hunter Biden called his dad ‘the Big Guy’ or ‘my Chairman,’ and frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals that we were discussing. I’ve seen Vice President Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about his business. I’ve seen firsthand that that’s not true, because it wasn’t just Hunter’s business, they said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line.”
Hunter Biden’s Firms Scored Reportedly Hundreds of Millions from Russians, Chinese, and Kazakhs

Hunter Biden, son of 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden, has come under scrutiny for his business links to Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma while his father was vice president.
Now, a new book by author Peter Schweizer reveals Hunter Biden forged other business deals with individuals and entities tied with the governments of Russia, China, and Kazakhstan, that reportedly scored him hundreds of millions of dollars.
The book, titled Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite., lays out how Hunter Biden and his business partners, in addition to his numerous Rosemont-branded entities and ventures, was deeply involved with an entity called the Burnham Financial Group.
Hunter and his business partner, Devon Archer, used Burnham to make foreign deals with governments and oligarchs, according to a copy of the book viewed by Breitbart News.
One of those oligarchs included Nurlan Abduov, the associate of another Kazakh oligarch, Kenges Rakishev. Rakishev is the son-in-law of the former vice prime minister of Kazakhstan, Imangali Tasmagambetov. Tasmagamvetov was also formerly the defense minister, and is now the Kazakh ambassador to Russia.
According to the book, an account Hunter regularly received funds from showed money arriving from a firm run by Rakishev in 2014:

While Burnham received funds from Kazakh oligarchs, Archer acted as a backchannel between Kazakhstan to then-Secretary of State John Kerry, according to the book. (Kerry’s stepson Chris Heinz was a business partner with Biden and Archer in some of their ventures).
In a July 11, 2013, email, Kerry’s chief of staff David Wade wrote to Archer:
Devon: understand you spoke to the Secretary re having him call [Kazakh] Foreign Minister Idrisov today, can you let me know topics Idrisov wants to talk about/any requests he’ll have of the boss, so we can get paper prepared for a call. Hopefully, the situation on the home front will leave him time to do it.
Burnham also had business deals with two mysterious Chinese companies — Kirin Global Enterprses Limited and Harvest Global Investors, according to the book.
Kirin Global Enterprise Limited was an investment vehicle run by Xiangyao (or Yaojun) “Larry” Liu and Guo Jianfeng, according to Schweizer. “Very little is known about Kirin or its two principals, other than the fact that they invest heavily in mainland Chinese real estate,” he writes. Harvest Global Investors was a Chinese investment firm linked to the government in Beijing.
Burnham also had a financial relationship with Russian Oligarch Yelena Baturina, a billionaire with extensive political connections in Moscow and links to Russian organized crime, according to Schweizer. Archer said Baturina invested $200 million into “various investment funds” with which he was involved.
Burnham also got wrapped up in a $60 million fraudulent bond scheme to rip off union pension funds and the poorest Indian tribe in America, the Oglala Sioux, Schweizer writes.
In May 2016, Archer was arrested in New York and charged with “orchestrating a scheme to defraud investors and a Native American tribal entity of tens of millions of dollars.”
Some of the targeted were government employee or labor union organizations that had supported Joe Biden in the past. Biden has long described himself as a “union man.”
Although Hunter Biden was not charged, Schweizer writes, “his fingerprints were all over Burnham.” The legitimacy that his name and political status as the vice president’s son lent to Burnham was brought up repeatedly during the trial, he writes.
That status was used as a means of both recruiting pension money into the scheme and alleviating investors’ concerns, he writes. In an August 2014 email, Jason Galanis, who was convicted in the bond scheme, agreed that Burnham had “value beyond capital” because of their political connections.
Hunter Biden had an office at Burnham’s New York City offices on Fifty-Seventh Street, and during the trial, numerous witnesses came forward describing Hunter’s involvement with the firm, according to the book.
Schweizer writes these deals have long been a pattern with the Biden family, to include Hunter Biden:
With the election of his father as vice president, Hunter Biden launched businesses fused to his father’s power that led him to lucrative deals with a rogue’s gallery of governments and oligarchs around the world. Sometimes he would hitch a prominent ride with his father aboard Air Force Two to visit a country where he was courting business. Other times, the deals would be done more discreetly. Always they involved foreign entities that appeared to be seeking something from his father. Often, the countries in question, including Ukraine, Russia, and Kazakhstan, had highly corrupt political cultures.
In short, Hunter Biden was not cutting business deals in Japan or Great Britain, where disclosure rules and corporate governance might require greater scrutiny. These were deals in the truly dark corners of the world.

The confusion vanishes if one assumes that this episode could be just a small part of the process of China's colonization of America. China has already colonized some countries in the Pacific region, South America, and Africa for all practical purposes. Add to this list the de facto colonization of northern Italy and a large part of Russia in Eastern Siberia. Also, communist China greedily devours real estate and businesses in the United States.
Therefore, the 2020 presidential election should be seen as an integral part of this process.
From this perspective, Trump and Biden symbolize two diametrically opposed approaches to America's future. If Biden made it clear that he was ready to swear allegiance to the new master, Trump is fighting for America's economic and political independence. Biden is helped not only by the so-called "Democrats" and numerous anti-Trump Republicans but also by the world socialist movement.
The current leading force of palace intrigues in China is Xi Jinping's group of supporters of Soviet methods: "Xi Jinping belongs to the faction long forgotten in China, which at one time was aligned with the Soviet Union and Joseph Stalin." When this group came to power, a wave of repressions swept across China, like two drops of water similar to Stalin's repressions of the 30s and 40s. China's economic policy is generally reminiscent of the Soviet one. For example, foreign companies' penetration into Chinese markets is only possible if joint ventures with China are established, and all the know-how is transferred to the Chinese side.
Donald Trump, of course, is fighting for the presidency. Nevertheless, for Trump, the presidency is only part of a more significant challenge. Trump seeks not only to win these elections but to destroy once and for all the leftist movements in general. Obviously, it includes China and the so-called "Democrats." That is a much more important goal, and it looks like Trump would prevail. What if Trump loses? In this case, all his actions will be aimed at ensuring that by the next electoral cycle – in 2022 – no one in his or her right mind would even think to vote for (D)ecadence.
Trump must win Americans' sympathy to achieve his goal. There is no doubt that the Trump team is acting in this direction. Numerous hearings in state legislatures, sensational statements by witnesses, mathematical and computer experts, and court hearings, of course, show a horrid picture of election fraud by "Democrats."
Election Day has been transformed into Election Months; however, more and more Americans are convinced of the "Democrat" fraud every day. More and more Americans switch to alternative sources of information every day and thus deprive propaganda outlets of their material base. Every day more and more Americans are beginning to understand which Republican is an anti-Trumpist rooting for China and which one is a Conservative. Finally, more and more Americans are beginning to guess where the command center that issued an order to stop counting votes simultaneously in six battleground states at 2 a.m. on November 4, 2020, was located.
Trump understands that America, unfortunately, has been dozing for the past hundred years. While we were sleeping, our Constitution was undermined. We have lost control of the Washington swamp dwellers because they prefer to be controlled by Chinese interests rather than American citizens. We just lived our lives and watched football until the international leftist movement attempted to steal our America out from under our noses.
Trump's strategic goal is an America, which is not sleeping at the wheel.
There is now every sign that America's sleeping giant is awake. Thanks to China – the elections they most likely helped to steal could be the Chinese equivalent of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Thanks to the "Democratic" fraudsters and their leader Joe "Yuan" Biden – the 2020 elections were the last straw.
In 1776 we did not want to be vassals to the British king, and in 2020 we do not want to be vassals of the communists.
China communists and their distant ideological cousins on the Left – the American "Democrats," of course, went for broke. They have in their arsenal not only economic and political methods. A very extraordinary direction of China's expansion is that the communists began to transfer their enterprises to the United States, considering our country as one of the offshore destinations for money laundering. Based on our knowledge of communists' methods, the most probable course of action by the Politburo of the Communist Party of China would be outright buying of politicians. It seems they calculated (quite correctly) that they need to buy a limited number – no more than a few thousand – key politicians worldwide to carry out their expansion plans. This path seems to them to be quicker and economically more feasible.
The massive importation of drugs into the United States was one of the main activities of the Soviet KGB, for which numerous drug cartels were created (have you ever wondered why most drug cartels are in countries with strong left-wing traditions?) It was the Chinese comrades who did what the Soviet comrades could not achieve – flood America with fentanyl.
China's espionage has reached a level that the Soviet KGB could only dream of. Under Bush and Obama, China's cyber attacks, like Operation Titan Rain, were incredibly successful. Consider the 2013 attack, when China took over the personal files of 21 million US government employees. China uses widespread blackmail and bribes to lobby her interests in Washington.
In 2020, communist China used artificial intelligence algorithms to identify Americans who could participate in the Antifa and Black Lives Matter pogroms (of course, the Chinese communists favor only left-wing organizations). Once identified, these Americans were sent instructions (including well-crafted videos) on organizing riots via social media. As we now know, American "Democrats" enthusiastically participated in this orgy. Finally, everybody has noticed that numerous concentration camps sprung up worldwide as a precursor to CoronaGulag.
Trump has swung not only at the Chinese communists, not only at the "Democrats" as traditional rivals of the American conservatives, and not only at the Washington swamp. All the above suggests that Donald Trump is an historical figure on a much larger scale than it seems at first glance.
Trump is fighting a global communist Utopia, also known as the "Global Gulag."
The "Democrats," if they do win this battle with China's help, will find themselves in a completely new, redefined reality – the majority of the country's population will regard them as usurpers, deceitful and dishonest people. If an infirm old marionette settles in the White House, it will be a classic Pyrrhic victory, where winning a battle leads to losing the war.
Donald Trump has been compared with Winston Churchill more than once, and these comparisons, of course, have a good reason. They are based on the similarity of the circumstances these leaders had to face. Churchill, too, found himself in a situation where he and his country were single-handedly fighting both German Socialists' horde and the numerous National Socialism and International Socialism supporters among the British establishment.
If the socialists come to power despite Trump's actual landslide victory, then the political suicide of the "Democrats" will enter the final phase. Moreover, the American patriots who feel down in the dumps should remember one of the quotes commonly attributed to Churchill: "Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm."
