MEXICO'S LOOTING OF AMERICA BY INVITATION OF THE DEMOCRAT PARTY

GETTING ILLEGALS INTO AMERICAN JOBS AND VOTING BOOTH

OBAMANITE

Valerie Jarrett: ‘We Should Make It as Easy as Possible to Vote,’ Including Expanded Absentee Ballots

JOSHUA CAPLAN

Appearing Wednesday on MSNBC, former President Barack Obama senior advisor Valerie Jarrett said the federal government should make it “as easy as possible” for people to vote as Democrats continue to push a vote-by-mail option ahead of the 2020 election.

VALERIE JARRETT: Very concerned, in a word. And I think as, you know, earlier this week, Michelle Obama announced “When We All Vote,” an organization she formed, non-partisan organization, I might add, a call on Congress to ensure that we have the ability to have absentee ballots. We shouldn’t have to choose between our health and exercising our most fundamental right to vote.

I think we should make it as easy as possible for people to vote, and unfortunately, we have seen in history now in our country where states have passed laws, practices have been put in place to suppress the vote. We should be doing just the opposite. Technology is our friend. The ability to do absentee balloting is something we could fund and have in place if we get ready right now.

According to Attorney General Xavier Becerra, once on Hillary Clinton’s short list as a running mate, more than 10 million illegals reside in California. When the illegals get driver’s licenses, the DMV automatically registers them to vote. More than one million “new” voters were registered by 2018, but Padilla won’t say how many actually voted and refuses to comply with federal probes of voter fraud.

America can mass deport illegal aliens, and we know this because it’s done so before

The headlines are full of stories about illegal aliens: They’re raping children, murdering young women, crashing their cars into children, assaulting and murdering police officers…and the list goes on. However, we’re told that we’re stuck with them. Well, we’re not. In the 1950s, when there was political will—and a plea from Mexico to send its citizens home—we did mass deport illegal aliens. Like Pakistan deporting its illegal Afghan aliens, El Salvador jailing its gangs, or Argentina balancing its budget in nine weeks, it just requires political will.

I made a lot of assertions about illegal aliens in my opening paragraph. Let me back them up with just a few examples.

The above are just single points of evidence, of course, but they reflect myriad reports that fill the news regularly. And it doesn’t matter whether illegal aliens are more or less likely to commit these crimes than citizens or people here legally. What matters is that each of these horrible crimes wouldn’t have happened if our government had obeyed the law.

Image: Illegal aliens being returned to Mexico in 1954. Public domain.

Meanwhile, that same government insists that there’s nothing that it can do to stop the flood of illegal aliens crossing the border. This is a lie. The president has plenary power to stop all border crossings. What our government is really doing is welcoming illegal aliens into America.

One of the things we’re told most often is that it’s simply impossible to deport these illegal aliens. Indeed, we hear, the U.S. is currently helpless in the face of Venezuela’s refusal to take back its own citizens. That ignores, of course, that the Biden administration immediately put into place policies refusing to deport illegal aliens.

Well, I’m here to tell you that America’s history shows that it’s completely possible to deport illegal aliens. Back in the mid-1950s, under the politically-incorrect title of Operation Wetback, the United States deported over 1,000,000 Mexican citizens, whether they were here illegally or were deportable on other grounds. Yes, it was a rough process and, according to Wikipedia, some American citizens ended up shipped out as well. However, it worked, right until the political will collapsed and Democrats started sniffing out a new voting bloc.

What made the program almost surreal from today’s perspective is that the Mexican government demanded it. That’s because it was tired of seeing its human capital self-deport to America for better paying jobs.

Of course, now, Latin American countries are desperate to send people to America. If the people are criminals, it makes those criminals America’s problem (as seems to be the case with many Venezuelans). More importantly, though, sending its citizens to America (whether legally or illegally) means more cash at home.

For example, according to the Wilson Center, in 2021, Mexicans living in America sent over $51.6 billion back to Mexico. By 2022, remittances were almost $56 billion. It’s no wonder that, in 2022, “[Mexican President] Lopez Obrador has often boasted about the strong expansion in remittances sent to Mexico…” (Emphasis mine.) By 2023, remittances totaled $63 billion! That’s money earned in America but not spent in America. Instead, it’s all shipped to Mexico.

That’s a heck of a lot of money. For perspective, in 2023, the United States Marine Corps’ annual budget was only $51.9 billion. Meanwhile, a House GOP report estimates that U.S. taxpayers will be on the hook for $451 billion annually to fund just those illegal aliens who had arrived by November of last year. As a general matter, almost 60% of illegal alien homes rely on government (i.e., your) money

Mexico no longer sees value in its citizens at home. Instead, they are its greatest export, provided that their profit returns to the home country. No wonder that, while the Mexican government once begged for its citizens’ return, it now aids them (along with tens of thousands of other Latin Americans) in entering America illegally. Incidentally, the UN is also assisting the invasion, as is the American Red Cross.

What’s needed to make deportation possible is nothing more than political will. Just recently, Pakistan has had it with illegal Afghan immigrants (they’re not good immigrants) and is deporting almost 1.5 million of them.

We see the benefit of political will in other instances when countries are facing unsustainable crises. In El Salvador, the president’s will to imprison the nation’s violent gangs saw crime plummet and the president’s popularity soar, while Javier Milei, by slashing Argentina’s government, created the first budget surplus in 12 years.

Of course, our current government’s will is directed not to stopping illegal immigration but to augmenting and facilitating it. I wrote this post only to say that, if we ever are lucky enough to have once again a government committed to the rule of law, there is no reason we cannot deport the illegal aliens who drag down our quality of life and drain money from our economy.

Border Patrol Encounters Plummet in Gov. Abbott’s Texas, Surge in Newsom’s California, Hobbs’ Arizona

The number of U.S. Border Patrol encounters are down sharply in Texas this fiscal year, due to the effectiveness of Republican Governor Greg Abbott’s Operation Lone Star. Meanwhile, border encounters have spiked in California and Arizona, where more migrant-friendly Democrat governors are in charge.

Through Operation Lone Star, Gov. Abbott has installed wire fencing at the border, deployed floating border barriers and called out the Texas National Guard to deter illegal immigration.

And, his efforts have been successful.

Through the first four months of Fiscal Year 2024 (Oct.-Jan.), the number of U.S Border Patrol encounters of illegal aliens between ports of entry in Texas has fallen 27% (from 484,994 to 352,996) compared to the same period year-ago. Four of the state’s five Border Patrol sectors have recorded steep declines: El Paso (-50%), Big Bend (-70%), Laredo (-40%) and Rio Grande Valley (23%).

In the fifth sector, Del Rio, border encounters are down 1.3% from the first four months of FY2023.

However, in early January, Texas closed off the Del Rio Sector’s Shelby Park in Eagle Pass and, for the month, the number of illegal alien encounters plummeted 325% from the previous month and 41% from January 2023.

Last month, illegal alien encounters declined in all five sectors, compared to the previous January, with decreases ranging from 33% in Laredo Sector to 70% in Big Bend Sector.

Meanwhile, U.S. Border Patrol encounters between ports of entry in California, a self-professed “sanctuary” for illegal immigrants, are up 30% through the first four months of the fiscal year (from 97,779 in FY2023 to 127,309). In January, illegal alien encounters were 29% higher, compared to the same month the previous year (25,836 vs. 20,003 in Jan. 2023).

In January of 2023, illegal alien encounters in two Texas sectors – Del Rio (28,425) and El Paso (30,038) – exceeded those in the entire state of California (20,003). But, by January of this year, the counts for both Del Rio (16,712) and El Paso (17,515) had fallen well below California’s tally of 25,836.

In Arizona, led by Democrat Governor Katie Hobbs, illegal alien encounters between ports of entry by U.S. Border Patrol have surged 51% to 273,519 through the first four months of FY2024, up from 181,572 in the same period a year earlier.

The increase is entirely due to an onslaught of illegal aliens trying to sneak into the U.S. across the border in the Tucson Sector. In the first four months of FY2024, encounters between ports of entry in the Tucson sector are up 182%, from 88,741 to 250,661, compared to a year earlier. In every one of the first four months of FY2023, border encounters surged by at least 141%, compared to the same month a year earlier.

While Arizona has not openly declared that it welcomes, and will protect, illegal immigrants, Gov. Hobbs has not taken steps similar to those of Gov. Abbott to secure the border.

Thus, now that breaking into the country through the Texas border has become a much more daunting task, illegal aliens appear to be migrating westward to enter through states that are less zealous about securing their borders.

Illegal Aliens Unleashed onto the Streets of San Diego by Border Patrol

The Border Patrol released more illegal aliens onto the streets of an already-overwhelmed San Diego, California on Friday, at the same time that a “welcome center” for immigrants was forced to shut down because it ran out of funding, due to the surge.

“The Border Patrol bus released approximately 200 migrants onto the streets in San Ysidro, where they were then handed over to a non-governmental organization for help,” Fox News reported Friday.

The release of illegal immigrants on Friday is the latest instance of ongoing Border Patrol releases into San Diego.

In just one five-week period late last year, nearly twenty thousand migrants were dropped off in San Diego, local station CBS 8 reported on October 18, 2023:

“Border Patrol has dropped off more than 18,500 migrants into San Diego over the past five weeks. More than 1,400 migrants have been dropped off in Oceanside and local nonprofits and city governments are stepping up to help.

Last week, CBS 8 reported that Border Patrol had dropped 13,000 in one month's time, meaning there has been at least a 5,500 increase in just seven days.”

Indeed, illegal immigrants are increasingly flooding into San Diego, between official ports of entry. And, if apprehended, they’re overwhelming detention facilities.

Border Patrol encounters between ports of entry in San Diego Sector are up 73.8% through the first four months of the current fiscal year (Oct. 2023-Jan. 2024), surging to 120,124 from 69,117 in the same period last year. In each month, the number of encounters was at least sixty percent higher than the same month year-ago.

cruise 2024 image mid

Similarly, encounters with illegal immigrants at the port of San Diego by U.S. Customs and Border Control’s Office of Field Operations are up 70%, from 36,834 in the first four months of FY2023 to 62,722 in FY2024 to-date.

Not all of the illegal immigrants released into San Diego stay there, or even remain in the state, however.

Since the Border Patrol drops them off at a bus station, they can simply hop onto another bus and head anywhere else in the U.S. Alternatively, local nonprofits are there to provide them with free transportation to airports and rail stations.

The illegal immigrants claiming to be asylum-seekers are on the honor system to report to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office once they settle in their new location. If they do, a court date will be set, where they can plead their case for asylum, if they show up.

What’s more, not all of San Diego’s illegal immigrants hail from Central or South America – some come from far-off, hostile regimes like China.

cruise 2024 image mid

The influx of immigrants from hostile countries, who mix in with migrants from more friendly nations, poses a serious national security threat, as MRCTV’s Nick Kangadis reports:

“While the top nationality represented isn’t a complete surprise, with 28,000 criminal invaders from Colombia being encountered, coming in second are invaders from China, with 21,000 encounters in that sector alone since October. The rest of the top 10 includes, in order, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, Turkey, Guinea, India, Guatemala and Peru.”

….

“While some Chinese might actually be trying to flee the oppression of their communist government, you better believe that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) would take advantage of such a situation and send in spies and other military-related individuals.”

Dem AZ Gov. Hobbs: ‘We Need Something’ from Biden on ‘Lawlessness at the Border’

During an interview with CNN aired on Friday’s broadcast of “NewsNight,” Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs (D) responded to a question on reports that President Joe Biden is considering stricter executive action on the border such as potentially preventing people who have crossed the border illegally from seeking asylum in the U.S. by saying that while she does wish Congress would have passed the Senate bill and administrations of both parties have failed to act on the border, her state needs some action from the Biden administration on the border to bring about “sanity and an end to the lawlessness at the border.”

Host Abby Phillip asked, “Gov. Hobbs, as a border state Governor, you’ve sent the National Guard down to the border. When you hear that President Biden might prevent people who cross the border illegally from seeking asylum in an effort to reduce the flow, is that what you’re looking for?”

Hobbs answered, “We need something. And we are dealing with decades of the inaction from both Republican and Democratic administrations, and now, certainly, Congress for refusing to pass this bipartisan legislation that was presented. Americans want sanity and an end to the lawlessness at the border.”

84-Year-Old Arizona Border Rancher Plagued by Mexican Cartel Activity

Jim Chilton and his ancestors have been involved in ranching in Arizona since the late 1800s. In recent years, the aging rancher has been forced to divide his time between running a successful cattle business and keeping a watchful eye out for cartel smuggling on his remote border ranch south of Arivaca, Arizona.

Chilton sometimes finds himself helping migrants in distress and, at other times, keeping a sharp eye out for the cartel smugglers and foot guides that push hundreds or thousands of migrants and narcotics across his land.

In a recent report by the Daily Mail, Chilton can be seen patrolling the remote desert ranch armed with a carbine he carries to protect himself and his family. The area where the Chilton ranch is located is known for the crossing of hundreds of migrants monthly, where Border Patrol agents have reduced routine patrols at times due to the increase in migrant crossings elsewhere.

The ranch sits between Nogales and Lukeville, Arizona, directly across the border from the Mexican state of Sonora — known for its violent Sinaloa cartel activity. Chilton told the Daily Mail his activities on the ranch are under constant surveillance by armed cartel members equipped with scoped rifles and night vision. The smugglers, Chilton says, routinely traffic people across his ranch into the United States.

Chilton says his dealings with the cartel have worsened over the last three years, but the illicit activity is nothing new to the seasoned cattle rancher. In 2018, nearly eight years ago, Chilton sat with the late Penny Starr, a Breitbart News reporter, to discuss what living on the ranch in the remote border area was like.

In her report for Breitbart News, Starr accompanied Chilton on a tour of the ranch as they discussed his experiences dealing with cartel operatives seeking to move migrants and narcotics into the United States. “Most of our ranch is occupied by the Sinaloa Cartel,” Chilton told Starr, referring to one of the most violent cartels operating in the region.

Chilton was dealing with similar cartel activities at that time, which have only worsened over the years.  Chilton told Breitbart News the cartel members were not only bringing drugs, weapons, and people across the border but the cartel scouts were also positioned on mountaintops to monitor for the presence of Border Patrol agents.

The level of migrant crossings in the area has spiked in recent months as efforts underway in Mexico have reduced the migrant flow farther east in Texas by up to 60% in some areas. The efforts in Mexico, mainly concentrated on removing migrants from freight train routes known as “La Bestia” or the beast, have little impact on the western states of Arizona and California. The increase in migrant crossings in Arizona may be a sign Chilton’s battle with the cartel is far from over.

A source within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, not authorized to speak to the media, told Breitbart Texas migrant apprehensions in the area have increased by nearly 120 percent during February as compared to the same time frame last year. In the first three weeks of the month, more than 33,000 migrants have been apprehended by the Border Patrol compared to slightly more than 15,000 during the first three weeks of February 2023.

Since the new fiscal year began in October, more than 284,000 migrants entered in and around Chilton’s ranch in the Tucson Sector. This total marks a 173 percent increase compared to last year’s total of 105,000 for the same time frame.

The source told Breitbart Texas “Thousands of migrants are willingly surrendering near Lukeville and San Miguel, dealing with that humanitarian situation keeps us from actively patrolling other areas like the Chilton Ranch where migrants are not surrendering and instead are hoping to completely avoid apprehension.”

Former Trump Aide Sam Nunberg: Trump Must Choose Running Mate Who Will Tackle Immigration

Former President Donald Trump must select a running mate who will serve as a “top adviser” on key issues — namely, immigration — former Trump aide Sam Nunberg said during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday, expressing his belief that if Trump “runs a competent campaign, if he picks the right kind of vice president, if we’re able to focus on Biden — make it a referendum on Biden — Donald Trump should be able to win this election.”

Nunberg, who now backs Trump, first explained why he originally supported Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the Republican primary race, as he “thought that after the midterm elections that DeSantis would be the most electable candidate.”

“I also made a strategic assumption that were Donald Trump to get the nomination, all these polls that we were seeing late last year showing President Trump with a large lead over Joe Biden would suddenly immediately flip, and Joe Biden’s numbers — his favorable numbers, his job performance numbers — would also suddenly, surprisingly…shoot up, and it would seem that it would be a very, very tenuous proposition for the Republicans heading into the fall,” he said.

“Frankly, I was dead wrong. I was 100 percent wrong,” he said. “Donald Trump, as of today, regardless of what you hear from anybody in the mainstream media…Donald Trump is the favorite. Were the election held today, Donald Trump would beat Joe Biden.”

“Now the election is not going to be held today, but what it does show is that the wind is at Donald Trump’s back, that Joe Biden is the weakest president heading into reelection in modern history,” he explained, pointing to the weaknesses of Vice President Kamala Harris as well.

“If you put people anonymously in polls, nobody thinks that Joe Biden did a better job on foreign policy. Nobody thinks Joe Biden did a better job on the border. Nobody thinks Joe Biden did a better job on the economy than Donald J. Trump,” he said, emphasizing that if Trump “runs a competent campaign, if he picks the right kind of vice president, if we’re able to focus on Biden — make it a referendum on Biden — Donald Trump should be able to win this election.”

Nunberg said Trump should strategically choose his vice president, viewing the individual as “a course correction, quasi-independent third-party type candidate.”

“What I mean is, is that he puts his VP as a referendum, as you’re voting on a certain issue,” he said, identifying the number one issue that he believes Biden will lose on as immigration.

LISTEN:

Under Biden’s presidency “in three and a half to four years, you will have had eight million illegals — at a minimum, that’s eight million, that’s what the government is saying — that are dispersed across his country. You will have had policies that he immediately reversed on day one when he came into the Oval Office from President Trump’s policies,” he said, explaining that Trump should pick someone and “say that this…person’s job is going to be to immediately…report to me day to day on immigration, on deportations, on closing the border, on dealing with Mexico and the other countries in that area on enforcement, on possible military action against the cartels.”

“Trump will be outspent by possibly, you know, half a billion dollars going into the fall. The one thing that they can’t do is…if he has a VP that literally they’re just for immigration, that’s going to be an issue when somebody goes to vote and presses that button, they’re voting whether or not they support Joe Biden’s immigration. They’re going to have to think about it. And for me, that would be somebody like General Jack Keane, let’s say,” he said, also floating former Homeland Border Security Adviser Tom Homan.

“Don’t judge the person on anything else, if you want, you know, this person is literally going to be my top adviser. We’re going to be running on dealing with this immigration problem…This person is going to be in charge of…getting these people out of this country from anywhere from New York City to the Rio Grande. Doesn’t matter. I’m going to give this person full authority. I’m going to be ready with an attorney general,” Nunberg said, dismissing some of the names he has heard. If Trump wants to go the politician route, however, Nunberg suggested Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), who has a “tremendous story.”

“He understands the struggles of America. He understands the opioid crisis. He’s a well-educated family man. That would be somebody that I would like for him to strongly consider,” he said, emphasizing, again, the importance of picking a running mate who will focus on the issue of immigration.
