The Hunter Biden laptop unrolls two ragged threads. One is the
descent of Joe Biden’s son into new depths of depravity and the other are the
foreign investors who bought into Joe Biden Inc.
If they can buy an

GOP Senators Plan to Continue Probe into Hunter Biden’s Dealings
At least two high-ranking Republican senators plan to continue investigating Hunter Biden’s business dealings even should his father, former Vice President Joe Biden, take office in January.
Sens. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA), who authored a report earlier this year detailing the potential conflicts of interest between Hunter Biden’s foreign ties and his father’s political influence, will keep pursuing the matter after the new Congress takes office next year.
Johnson, who currently chairs the Senate’s Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, has begun telling news outlets that he will not “turn a blind eye” to recent revelations about the Biden family just because the 2020 election had passed.
“Tony Bobulinski coming forward, the computer being revealed, the FBI possibly starting an investigation,” Johnson told the Hill over the weekend. “We had a hard enough time getting what evidence we got to even write a report, and then all of a sudden our report sort of opened up this logjam.”
“I’m very confident there are probably more financial transactions that will probably be revealed,” the senator added.
Similarly, Grassley, who currently chairs the Senate Finance Committee, has asked the Department of Justice (DOJ) in recent days to make public any documents pertaining to Hunter Biden’s overseas interest. The Iowa lawmaker, specifically, has asked Attorney General William Barr whether any member of the Biden family sought guidance on whether their international business ventures complied with the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).
Although both Grassley and Johnson are set to leave their current chairmanships in January, they plan to continue looking into the Biden family from other perches within the United States Senate.
Provided that Republicans retain control of the chamber, Johnson will use his position as the incoming chairman of the Homeland Security Committee’s permanent subcommittee on investigations to keep his probe going. Grassley, likewise, will rely on his status as the incoming chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Last month, Tony Bobulinski, a one-time business associate of Hunter Biden, came forward to accuse the former vice president of lying about his involvement in his son’s dealings. Bobulinski claims that he met the Bidens in 2017 and became involved in a venture with Hunter and the former vice president’s younger brother, James.
Since coming forward, Bobulinski has agreed to cooperate with the Homeland Security Committee. Bobulinksi also told the Sinclair Broadcast Group in late-October that he was interviewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) regarding Hunter’s tenure on the board of directors of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas conglomerate.

Judge May Add 1 Million Migrants to the DACA Work Permit Program
A federal judge is hinting he will add another one million illegal migrants to the work permit and amnesty program created by President Barack Obama in 2012.
On Saturday, New York federal Judge Nicholas Garaufis struck down President Donald Trump’s July curbs on Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. The judge said he blocked the July curbs because they were signed by Trump’s deputy, Chad Wolf, whom he deemed improperly appointed to the job.
The judge also invited the lawyers to submit “motions for relief [benefits] in light of the court’s decision.” The lawyers will ask the judge to add the one million illegals to Obama’s giveaway of work permits, Social Security numbers, and residency approvals.
Business to Supreme Court: Ending DACA Amnesty Will Boost Americans’ Wages https://t.co/BJClKWdaXX
Wolf was designated as the Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in November 2019. So far, he has not been confirmed by the Senate. Wolf signed the curbs after a series of lower court judges — and then the U.S. Supreme Court decided in June — that Trump’s 2017 cancellation of the work permit program was legal but insufficiently justified.
The curbs signed by Wolf barred the acceptance of new illegals and also trimmed the duration of work permits held by the migrants, nearly all of whom were brought to the county by illegal-migrant parents.
If higher judges uphold the win by the lawyers at the Justice Action Center, more than one million younger illegals could get work permits via the 2012 DACA rule — even though millions of Americans now lack jobs or must work for low wages amid a flood of legal immigrant and illegal migrant labor.
The decision was touted by Mark Zuckerberg’s advocacy group, FWD.us, which was created in 2013 to help pass the “Gang of Eight” amnesty and cheap labor bill.
The Trump admin *must* immediately stop resisting the Federal courts. DACA 2012 is the law of the land. Refusing to follow a court order is extremely serious.
Trump’s lawyers will likely appeal the new legal decision, which dodged the issue of whether any president has the authority to award work permits without direct approval from Congress.
A DHS statement said that Wolf has been properly appointed to the acting DHS job, and said:
Garaufis’ ruling is another example of an activist judge substituting his own policy preference for those of the Trump Administration. His reasoning has already been thoroughly discredited, and his unwillingness to seriously engage on the facts or the law is disappointing. DHS is exploring its options to ensure its review of DACA continues as intended.
If Trump’s recent curbs are struck down, he can reissue the same DACA curbs under his direct authority — or else the judge may apply Obama’s 2012 rules to the extra one million migrants.
Roughly 650,000 illegals now hold work permits under the program,
At least 30,000 additional DACA beneficiaries have managed to gain green cards via their program.
At least 300,000 additional children and youths have come across the southern border since 2011, including many who were admitted by Obama’s policy of loosening border controls. Trump, in contrast, blocked the inflow in early 2020.
Obama’s offer of work permits applied to illegal migrants who arrived before they turned 16 and yet are younger than 30, have lived in the United States for at least five years, have graduated from Americans’ high-schools, and have not been “convicted of a felony offense, a significant misdemeanor offense, multiple misdemeanor offenses, or otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety.”
Joe Biden has promised to continue the DACA program.
The DACA program has been bitterly defended by progressives and by business groups, such as the FWD.us group of investors, partly because the program helps Democrats protect the growing population of illegal immigrants in the United States. The furor over the program also keeps media reporters from spotlighting other aspects of the nation’s cheap-labor economic policies, such as the resident population of at least 1.3 million white-collar visa workers.
Former President Barack Obama said in an interview with National Public Radio (NPR) that people who voted for President Donald Trump may not have had “facts” because of their news sources and that he believes Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will “restore a bunch of norms.”
In the interview, host Michel Martin asked Obama about the election but did not mention that it has not been officially certified.
“Let’s talk about the campaign,” Martin said. “How do you understand the election results? I mean, by that I mean, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris win the White House, but Republicans make gains in the House.”
“And in fact, Republicans now control more state legislatures than at any point in U.S. history,” Martin said. “They control both legislative houses in 32 states.”
“And of course, we are speaking at a time when there are more than 10 million COVID cases in the United States, 240,000 people have died,” Martin said. “This is as, just as we are speaking now. Yet 70 million people voted for the incumbent who presided over all this. So what do you thinks going on here? How do you understand it?”
“Look, I think there’s no doubt that the country is deeply divided right now,” Obama said. “And, you know, when I think back even to my own first presidential election in 2008, the country didn’t feel this divided, what some people have called the great sort in which you have a combination of a political, cultural, ideological, in some cases, religious and geographical divide that seems to be deeper than just differences in policy.”
“A lot of that I think has to do with changes in how people get information. I’ve spoken about this before, I write about this in my book,” Obama said. “If you watch Fox News, you perceive a different reality than if you read The New York Times and that didn’t use to be as stark because you had local newspapers and you had people overlapping in terms of where they got information.”
“But now partly because of social media and sort of the echo chamber, a lot of the people who voted for Donald Trump do not believe that in fact COVID was mishandled, contrary to the facts that now you or I might assert, those aren’t the facts that they accept,” Obama said. “And I think that until we can start having a common baseline of facts from which to discuss the direction of the country, we’re going to continue to have some of these issues.”
“Now part of it is also the fact that the Republican Party — because you mentioned state legislatures — Democrats tend to now be primarily in metropolitan areas, not just cities, but surrounding suburbs, metro areas, and Republicans are spread out more in less densely populated rural areas,” Obama said. “That gives them a huge advantage automatically in the Senate. It gives them a big advantage with respect to state legislative races and even gives them some advantage in congressional races.”
“So, Joe Biden can win by 5 million votes in the popular vote, but because of how those votes are distributed, Democrats are going to be at a disadvantage,” Obama said. “All of which means that I am thrilled that Joe and Kamala have won.”
“I believe that they will restore a bunch of norms — respect for science, respect for facts, respect for rule of law that I think have been breached over the last four years — but some of the bigger challenges in bringing the country together, that’s going to be a project that goes beyond just one election,” Obama said.
Obama is making the rounds to promote his third memoir, A Promised Land.
