Pelosi Calls GOP ‘Commitment’ to Secure Border, Stop Crime, Curb Inflation an ‘Out of Touch’ MAGA ‘Extremist Agenda’

On Thursday, Republicans unveiled a “Commitment to America” platform, which Democrat California House Speaker Nancy Pelosi denounced as a “whole-hearted commitment” to Make America Great Again (MAGA).

“Today’s rollout is the latest evidence of House Republicans’ whole-hearted Commitment to MAGA: going all-in on an extremist agenda designed to greatly diminish Americans’ health, freedom and security,” Pelosi said in a statement condemning Republicans’ commitment to stop violent crime, secure the border, tackle inflation and prevent illegal voting.

“But this extreme MAGA agenda is way out of step with Americans’ priorities, who align with Democrats’ vision of putting People Over Politics,” Pelosi says in her statement.

As Republican House Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy explains in a video, the nation is facing serious problems that require the attention of elected officials:

  • “Violent crime is at record highs in our streets and neighborhoods.”
  • “The border has become a national security crisis, with fentanyl killing our fellow citizens.”
  • “Soaring inflation has shrunk paychecks and sent us into a recession.”

Rep. McCarthy calls Republicans’ “Commitment” a “plan for an Economy that’s strong – where you can feed your family and fill up your tank” designed to make America “a nation that’s safe – where communities are protected by the police and criminals are prosecuted, a future that’s built on freedom where your children come first and are taught to dream big and a government that’s accountable where politicians don’t get special treatment.”

The full text of Pelosi’s statement is presented on Speaker Pelosi’s website.

Rep. McCarthy’s video is embedded below.

As Breitbart News pointed out, “the massive wave of new customers has helped spike the value of real estate, apartment rents, and the cost of new houses, especially in areas where well-to-do Americans flee from the arrival of diverse populations.”

“A 2017 report by the CATO Institute says the cost of illegal immigration could be reduced by cutting spending on border enforcement: ‘If the typical illegal immigrant increases the value of all housing unit prices by 11.5 cents, then illegal immigrants increase nationwide housing values by about $1 trillion,'” the report added.

Running the World into the Ground

The actions of the people who are in charge of governments are supposed to benefit the countries they serve -- in theory, at least. In practice, the opposite is true. In the West, our leaders are destroying everything they can get their hands on.

This is certainly an apt description of the Biden/Harris administration. They inherited a healthy country from President Trump. The economy was taking off, inflation was practically nonexistent, the U.S. was energy independent for the first time in decades, and the border was closed. So what did Biden do? He immediately set out to reverse everything Trump achieved.

Who can claim to be better off under Biden? The economy has tanked, inflation is at a 40-year high, people can’t afford to heat their homes or fill up their cars with gas, crime statistics are off the charts, and confidence in America is at an all-time low. Biden’s open-border policy, which is opposed by a majority of American citizens, is leading to social unrest and economic chaos. A country without a functioning border is not a country, yet that is where Biden has taken us.

America is marching toward totalitarianism as Biden empowers the DoJ and FBI to go after his political opponents, i.e., at least half of the population. His worst offense, however, is following the climate dictates of the World Economic Forum. Biden is torpedoing the robust U.S. economy in service of a totally false assumption -- that human beings are able to change the planet’s climate. He is raising taxes so that billions of your dollars can be wasted on ridiculous anti-fossil fuel projects.

Biden has declared war on the energy industry in the name of global warming. He wants us to believe that oil, gas, and coal are killing the planet. What is the result of his climate policy so far? “Harvesting of fuel was cut back drastically,” explained Bill O’Reilly, “and that caused the price of oil worldwide to rise, and that caused the price of gas at the pump to rise, and that lit inflation, as all other goods went up in price as well because they are trucked in to the stores and businesses. That is all on President Biden.”

First, human beings are incapable of controlling the climate, which operates in cycles and always has since the planet was created. Second, our economy is dependent on fossil fuels, and -- contrary to the lies fed by the administration -- fossil fuel alternatives do not exist, and will not exist in the foreseeable future.

Climate Change Business Journal quantified the cost to the U.S. of the green agenda at a whopping $1.5 trillion per year. That is the equivalent of economic suicide. And what do we get for this waste of time, money, and effort? Danish environmentalist Bjorn Lomborg calculates that even if every nation in the world adheres to its climate change commitments -- which they won’t, by the end of the century it will reduce the world’s temperatures by a mere 1/20th of a degree. In other words, the quality of our lives is going to plummet based on a monumental hoax.

If Biden gets away with his green policy, it will play right into Obama’s socialist dream of fundamentally transforming America. Under the guise of responding to climate change, the Left wants to take what we have and redistribute it to the Third World even if it means crippling the U.S. economy. Rampant crime, insane immigration policy, assault on individual rights, suicidal climate dictates -- Americans are being sold out by the politicians in charge, who happen to be members of the Democratic Party.

Now let’s talk about our friends in Europe. The criminal politicians who are in charge on the other side of the Atlantic are no better than their American counterparts. Europe’s social fabric was destroyed when Angela Merkel decided to open Germany’s borders to an onslaught of immigrants from the Middle East and Africa, most of whom are either unwilling or unable to assimilate into European culture. Other countries followed Merkel’s deranged example. The appalling result is that France, the U.K., Holland, Belgium, Denmark, and Sweden are on the verge of civil war as they struggle to deal with hostile Muslim newcomers.

The takeover of Europe by Islam was predicted by Mark Steyn in his 2008 book, America Alone: The End of the World as We Know It. “What happens,” Steyn asked, “when a Western world so in thrall to platitudes about boundless ‘tolerance’ allows the forces of intolerance to carve it out from the inside? Much of the Western world is engaged in an act of auto-genocide, and Islam will be the immediate beneficiary.” European politicians have opened the doors to people who are opposed to the Western way of life and whose mission is to stamp it out.

On the economic front, European leaders have, like Biden in the U.S., succumbed to the delusional World Economic Forum. In a mad rush to eliminate reliance on fossil fuels, European economies are going into the winter without adequate energy supplies. The poor citizens of the continent are being told to anticipate blackouts and food shortages. They are about to discover that without fossil fuels, their way of life is going to hell.

What recourse do we voters have against the irresponsibility of political leaders who are obsessed with the lure of power? Is it too late to stop them? In the U.S., we have the possibility of Republican resurgence in the 2022 and 2024 elections. We need Donald Trump or someone like him to execute a return to sane policymaking. I’m counting on it. The alternative is just too bloody awful.

Report – Americans Lost over $4K in Annual Income Thanks to President Biden: ‘Financial Catastrophe’

Americans are bleeding money and struggling to make ends meet, thanks to President Joe Biden (D).

“New economic numbers show that the average American has lost the equivalent of $4,200 in annual income under the Biden administration because of inflation and higher interest rates,” the Heritage Foundation said in a press release Thursday.

The foundation continued:

Heritage experts calculated this shocking number based on different sets of data. Consumer prices have risen 12.7% since January 2021, significantly faster than wages, so that the average American worker has lost $3,000 in annual purchasing power. Further, as the Federal Reserve implements tighter monetary policy to reduce inflation, interest rates are rising. Higher rates have in turn increased borrowing costs on mortgages, vehicle loans, credit cards, and more. The higher interest rates and borrowing costs have effectively reduced the average American’s purchasing power another $1,200 on an annualized basis.

Meanwhile, more Americans are shouldering credit card debt as inflation continues hurting families, Breitbart News reported Wednesday.

“In a recent survey from CreditCards.com commissioned by YouGov, 60 percent of Americans have been carrying monthly credit card debt for at least 12 months – a ten percent increase from 2021,” the outlet said.

During a recent interview, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) reacted to an estimate that projects households will be forced to spend over $11,000 more this year to maintain the same standard of living:

What we know for sure is that now we’ve lost more to inflation than they gave us in the form of free money. The inflation came from the free checks that were passed out. They shut the economy down. They sent free checks to everyone. And they said, oh, this will make up for it. But guess what? When people add up how much they’re paying for gas and the grocery store, it’s canceled out all the free money. And I don’t think the inflation’s over by a long shot.

EJ Antoni, research fellow in regional economics with the Heritage Foundation’s Center for Data Analysis, spoke about the financial burden placed on Americans.

“This financial catastrophe for American families is the direct result of a president and Congress addicted to spending our money, combined with a Federal Reserve compliantly enabling this addiction by printing more dollars,” he said.

In addition, American voters trust the Republican Party over Democrats by a wide margin when it comes to the economy as the midterm elections approach, according to a recent Morning Consult poll.

CNN’s Blackwell: Biden’s Economic Case ‘Isn’t Reconciled with the Facts’

1:57

On Friday’s “CNN Newsroom,” co-host Victor Blackwell stated that the case on the economy that the White House is making “really isn’t reconciled with the facts of what people are facing.”

White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield stated, “We’ve seen incredible signs of progress. I mean, actually, inflation has been effectively flat over the last two months. And what you’ve seen from President Biden and Congressional Democrats is they’re advancing an agenda that’s bringing down costs. We passed a bill that’s going to lower the cost of prescription drugs. That’s something that Washington has been trying and failing to do for decades. We’ve passed a bill that’s going to lower the cost of health care, that’s going to lower your energy costs. And we’ve seen gas prices continue to drop for 14 consecutive weeks, gas prices are coming down. So, President Biden looks at a family budget and thinks about what can I do to reduce costs? And, across the board, we’re seeing costs on the things that people rely on, like health care, like gas prices, we’re seeing it come down. And he’s going to continue to push.”

Blackwell said, “So, a couple of things, gas prices are no longer coming down. They were for 98 days, but for the last three, they are now ticking back up. When you say that inflation has been flat for the last couple of months, minor increases, but year-over-year, it’s still disappointingly high, more than 8% in August. The Fed just raised interest rates by 75 basis points for the third time, another increase likely coming right before the election. Home sales are down year-to-year. Mortgage rates are up. The economic case that you’re making really isn’t reconciled with the facts of what people are facing.”

GET THOSE DAMNED BORDERS OPEN WIDER!!!

Vowing “pain,” Federal Reserve pledges to slash workers’ wages

On Wednesday, the US Federal Reserve increased the federal funds rate by three-quarters of a point, continuing the fastest pace of rate hikes since the 1980s. The action will immediately increase the costs of home mortgages, car loans and credit cards for working class and middle class families already struggling with the highest surge in inflation in four decades.

In his comments Wednesday, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell declared that “economic pain” was necessary to reduce inflation. He went on to say that the members of the Federal Open Market Committee expected unemployment to rise from the current 3.7 percent to 4.4 percent in 2023, an increase that would mean the destruction of 1.3 million jobs. Powell made it clear that the Fed was willing to throw the economy into a recession, destroying millions of more jobs.

Powell complained that the Fed’s recent rate hikes had not been sufficient, saying, “Despite the slowdown in growth, the labor market has remained extremely tight, with the unemployment rate near a 50-year low, job vacancies near historical highs, and wage growth elevated.”

By driving up unemployment, the Fed expected “supply and demand conditions in the labor market to come into better balance overtime, easing the upward pressure on wages and prices.”

Critically, when Powell was asked by a reporter just how long Americans would have to endure economic pain, he replied that it depended on “how long it takes for wages ... to come down.”

In other words, when Powell and the ruling class talk about fighting inflation, they are not talking about stopping corporate price-gouging. No, they are talking about ensuring that real wages continue to fall, driving up corporate profits.

The claim that wages are driving up inflation is entirely a myth. Real average hourly wages of US workers have fallen by 2.8 percent over the last 12 months. Over half of the increase in inflation (53.9 percent) can be attributed to fatter profit margins, according to the Economic Policy Institute, with labor costs accounting for less than 8 percent. But the American ruling class considers even a small, nominal pay rise completely unacceptable and is determined to keep its foot on the neck of the working class.

The Fed’s moves are aimed at deliberately driving up unemployment and using the threat of economic destitution as a battering ram to suppress a wages movement by the working class and impose even more brutal conditions of exploitation.

This was spelled out in an op-ed piece by the Washington Post columnist Megan McArdle, which praises former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker for raising interest rates to nearly 20 percent in the early 1980s and provoking “the country’s worst economic recession since the Great Depression” that put “one-tenth of the labor force” out of work. Volcker sent a clear message, McArdle said, “If inflation creeps up, the institution will do whatever it takes to get it back under control.”

Volcker took these measures to beat back a wave of militant struggles by workers against the ravages of inflation, including the 111-day coal miners strike in 1977-78. The “Volcker Shock” led to a wave of plant closures, mass layoffs, savage wage cuts and Reagan’s smashing of the air traffic controller strike, which the Democratic Party-appointed Volcker called the most important single action “the administration took in helping the anti-inflation fight” because it transformed “the climate of labor-management relations” both “profoundly” and “constructively.”

Despite the collapse in workers’ real wages, the US ruling class is terrified that the inflationary crisis is leading to a resurgence of the class struggle. In recent months, workers in the US and around the world have engaged in evermore militant strikes to demand substantial wage increases and to oppose brutal working conditions, as corporations seek to squeeze more out of fewer and fewer workers. In September alone, Minnesota nurses, Seattle teachers and other workers have struck, and over 110,000 railway workers are pressing for strike action. In the first six months of 2022, according to the strike tracker maintained by Cornell University, there were 180 strikes in the US involving 78,000 workers, up from 102 involving 26,500 workers in the same period a year earlier.

This is part of a global upsurge of the class struggle, including railway, oil rig, dock and transportation workers in the United Kingdom and other European countries. The Wall Street Journal sounded the alarm in an article titled, “Freight Labor Unrest Is Going Global and Weighing on Supply Chains,” which warned, “From seaport docks in Los Angeles and Liverpool to rail yards in Chicago and warehouses in Europe and the U.S., clashes between cargo workers and management have been rising this year, adding complications and uncertainty to the flow of goods around the world.”

The capitalist governments and central banks in Europe are following the US Fed’s lead in carrying out a pre-emptive strike against this movement. UK Prime Minister Liz Truss instructed railway employees to “get back to work” and end their strikes over pay, job security and working conditions. She is working closely with the trade unions, which suspended the strikes out of respect for Queen Elizabeth and the monarchy.

In the US, President Biden signed a last-minute deal with the railway unions to prevent a strike last week. But there is enormous opposition to the “agreement,” which turned out to be nothing more than a pledge by the unions to block the strike and impose a slight modification on the terms of Presidential Emergency Board (PEB), which workers were ready to strike against. This includes below-inflation rate raises, a single paid sick day, and the retention of the hated attendance policies, which keep workers on call 24/7.

Before the deal Biden declared that a railroad strike was unacceptable because of the harm a shutdown would inflict on families, farmers and businesses. What utter hypocrisy coming from a spokesman of the ruling class, which is prepared to throw the economy into a recession and ruin millions of families, farmers and businesses in order to block workers from fighting for living wages.

When it comes to waging wars abroad, the United States is prepared to throw away hundreds of billions of dollars every year. There is simply no limit to the amount of money to be spent on tanks, warships and missiles. But the demands of workers for increases in pay commensurate with surging prices, much less paid time off and an 8-hour day, are treated as impossible. In reality, there is a deep connection between the US preparations for war against Russia and China and its war against the working class at home.

The growing opposition of the working class is taking the most conscious form in the development of rank-and-file committees among railroad workers, nurses, teachers and other workers, and in the campaign of Will Lehman, the Mack Trucks worker and socialist candidate for president of the United Auto Workers union. Increasingly workers are organizing independently of the pro-capitalist and nationalist trade unions. The fight to defend both the right to a job and the right to a decent standard of living will entail a direct challenge to the capitalist system and the socialist transformation of the economy to satisfy human needs, instead of profit.

Sen. Paul: Terrorist Watchlist Encounters Up at Border Because ‘The Whole World is Attempting to Migrate to Our Country’

(CNS News) - When asked why he thinks Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has seen a steep increase in encounters with people on the terrorist watchlist at the southwest border, Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) attributed the blame to the Biden administration’s signal “that they are supportive of open borders.”

At the Capitol on Sept. 21, CNS News asked Senator Paul,  “According to Customs and Border Protection, in fiscal year 2020 it encountered 3 people on the terrorist watchlist trying to cross the southwest border. Last year, it encountered 15. In the first 11 months of this fiscal year, it has encountered 78. Why do you think there has been that increase?”

“Well, I think the Biden administration has signaled that they are supportive of open borders without controls,” Senator Paul replied.

He continued, “And so the whole world is attempting to migrate to our country. And I think that’s what happens if you send the signal that you don’t care whether we enforce our rules.”

As CNS News has reported, in the first 11 months of this fiscal year, CBP has encountered 78 individuals on the terrorist watchlist trying to cross the southwest border between the legal ports of entry, which is a 500% increase from the 15 encounters it had last year.

According to CBP, “The Terrorist Screening Dataset (TSDS) -- also known as the ‘watchlist’ -- is the U.S. Government’s database that contains sensitive information on terrorist identities.”

These so-called undocumented immigrants are becoming legally indistinguishable from citizens as they openly reside in 500 sanctuary jurisdictions, receive welfare, education and medical care, are granted drivers licenses, and given tuition breaks at public universities as they, not legal immigrants or American citizens, are exempt from federal immigration, health and travel laws.

Progressives Demand Two Migrants for Every U.S. Baby

The U.S. government must end the “venomous nativism” of ordinary patriotic Americans by flooding it with tens of millions of immigrants, according to two immigrants, Indian-born Deepak Bhargava and South Korean-born Rich Stolz.

Americans’ “politics of fear and racism” must be drowned by even more poor immigrants, say the two Democratic-aligned progressive activist-authors:

Under our proposal, the US would admit 75 million immigrants over the next decade, which would double the foreign-born population from 15% to over 30%, giving it the largest share of any developed nation. Admitting 7.5 million people a year would be a dramatic increase compared with recent history – in the Obama years, the US admitted 1 million immigrants a year, and that number shrank dramatically under Trump.

The two authors’ “Statue of Liberty Plan” would force Americans to accept an annual inflow of 7.5 million migrants — or two migrants for each American newborn.

The progressive plan would require the federal government to suppress and trash the much-polled preferences and the economic self-interest of 330 million varied Americans.

The plan would be a massive, three-sided elite smack to ordinary Americans:

That massive migration would reduce the labor-market power and cut wages for tens of millions of American employees by flooding the blue-collar and white-collar labor markets with a massive wave of perhaps 50 million low-wage and compliant workers.

The inflow would also drive up prices by adding 75 million consumers and renters to the U.S. market. The migrants also would dramatically increase the purchase of autos and gasoline, and spike the cost of homes and apartments. that would put a middle-class life out of reach for tens of millions more Americans.

The flood would also wreck Americans’ ability to locally govern their society, schools, and civic support programs by injecting more chaotic diversity into their already-fractured society. The economic and civic chaos enforced by the migration would help the business-backed progressives seize more power over ordinary Americans.

The two foreign-born authors justify the wholesale replacement of American culture and people as the righteous progressive answer to Americans’ beneficial solidarity with each other and their society, which they deride as “nativism.”

In a September 23 article in the Guardian, the two authors call for the flood to help to wash away the sins and crimes of U.S. businesses:

Invasions, annexations, coups and mercenary wars are a bloody throughline in the history of US relations with Latin America. US corporations profit from extreme exploitation, while US trade and sanctions policies have increased poverty, notably in Venezuela where sanctions have increased extreme hardship.

The climate crisis is also a growing cause of migration. In Central America and the Caribbean, nearly a third of migrants in hard-hit areas cite climate-induced lack of food as the main reason for becoming migrants. The number of climate migrants will surely grow; the World Bank estimates that 216 million people worldwide will be forced to migrate by 2050.

In reality, Americans’ free-market economy has enormously helped the developing world, especially the countries that focus on trade. For example, the nations of South Korea, China, Vietnam, and India, and become far richer in a few decades — after spending thousands of years mired in poverty, autocracy, and caste culture.

Moreover, Wall Street likely will support the progressive plan.

The progressives’ plan would extract vast human resources from developing countries — and deliver the migrants to U.S. businesses and Wall Street to serve as 75 million more workers, consumers, and renters in the relatively low-corruption United States.

“If the U.S. is going to be a place where people want to migrate [illegally] for economic reasons, let’s have an immigration system that recognizes and takes advantage of that,” a top business lobbyist said in November 2021. “That, I think, is something that will be true five years now, 10 years from now, 15 years from now,” said Douglas Holtz-Eakin, a pro-migration economist who formerly worked for President George W. Bush when he was pushing the open borders “any willing worker” claim.

Billionaire investors routinely call for more migration. For example, CNN reported on September 23:

Bill Ackman, the billionaire hedge fund manager and activist investor, has an alternative idea to fight inflation: Increase immigration.

“Inflation can be mitigated by reducing demand and/or by increasing supply,” tweeted Ackman of Pershing Square Capital. “Doesn’t it make more sense to moderate wage inflation with increased immigration than by raising rates, destroying demand, putting people out of work, and causing a recession?

Business groups already are applauding the semi-open border policies enforced by President Joe Biden and his Cuban-born homeland security chief, Alejandro Mayorkas. This unpopular policy is on track to extract roughly 2 million southern economic migrants in 2022 from poor countries — alongside another roughly 2 million legal immigrants, visa workers, visa overstayers, and workers who arrive on tourist visas. The 2022 inflow is delivering at least three migrants for every four American newborns.

The progressives’ pro-migration groups are already funded by business-backed progressives, such as the West Coast investors-billionaires at FWD.us.

This Extraction Migration economic strategy is enthusiastically pushed by progressives who wish to transform the U.S. from a society governed by European-origin civic culture into an economic empire of jealous identity groups overseen by progressive hall monitors.

“We’re trying to become the first multiracial, multi-ethnic superpower in the world,” Rep. Rohit Khanna (D-CA) told the New York Times in March 2022. “It will be an extraordinary achievement. … We will ultimately triumph,” he boasted. In September 2022, Khanna called for a revival of President George W. Bush’s “Any Willing Worker” “guest worker” plan that would pressure employers to replace millions of American employees with low-wage Indians and other foreigners.

Progressives who want more migration also argue that is a good counter to China: “We probably need to grow the country threefold [from 330 million] — to one billion Americans,” said author Matthew Yglesias, an elite-leftist progressive founder of Vox.com.

Some of the pro-migration progressives come from poor countries whose histories, cultures, and status are subordinate to Americans’ colossal accomplishments since 1776.

Stolz, for example, was born in South Korea, before he began working for the far-left Center for Community Change. He now runs OneAmerica, a pro-migration lobby in Washington State. His co-author, Deepak Bhargava, was an activist at the far-left  ACORN group and is now a “distinguished lecturer at the School of Labor and Urban Studies at the City University of New York.

Similarly, Jia Lynn Yang is the top editor for domestic news at the New York Times. She is the child of Chinese immigrants and the progressive author of a 2020 pro-migration book, titled “One Mighty and Irresistible Tide” where she argues that immigration should sever America from its cultural roots in Europe:

For those Americans who want ethnic pluralism to be a foundation value of their nation, there is unfinished work. The current generation of immigrants and children of immigrants — like those who came before us — must articulate a new vision for the current era, one that embraces rather than elides how far America has drifted from its European roots. If [immigrants] do not, their opponents can simply point out to the America of the last fifty years as a demographic aberration, and they would not be wrong.

The two authors also build their “Statue of Liberty Plan” on the long-standing false narrative that insists the Statue of Liberty is merely a greeter at the doorway to a claimed “Nation of Immigrants.”

The fake and misleading narrative is also pushed by the New York Times‘ Lynn:

The image of the Statue of Liberty, the Emma Lazarus poem at the statue’s base, the notion of America as an eternal “nation of immigrants,” — these make up an intoxicating part of this country’s mythology. Set against all the sins of America’s past — from slavery to the removal and genocide of American Indians — the arrival of open-hearted immigrants, grateful for a chance at a new life on our shores serves as a constant renewal of hope in the American project. If there is salvation for this country, it very well may lie in the underlying gratitude of a refugee whose life has been saved by the granting of a visa.

In reality, the State of Liberty was built by a French artist to display the success of the U.S. Constitution in the 1880s.  In subsequent years, a PR campaign by pro-migration advocates portrayed it as a beacon to foreign migrants.

But that success has been lost by many Americans since U.S. economic elites boosted international migration in 1965 and 1990.

Extraction Migration

Government officials want to grow the economy, and immigration is an easier tool than gradually raising exports, productivity, or the birth rate.

So the federal governments extract millions of migrants from poor countries and use them as extra workers, consumers, and renters.

This Extraction Migration policy grows the national economy but also skews it towards employers and investors. For example, migration tends to ensure employers do not run short of labor. The lack of  “tight labor markets” ensures that the migration shifts vast wealth from employees to investorsbillionaires, and Wall Street. In turn, that makes it difficult for ordinary Americans to advance in their careers, get married, raise families, or buy homes.

Extraction migration also slows innovation and shrinks Americans’ productivity. This happens because it encourages employers to boost stock prices by relying on disposable workers instead of uncapturable American professionals and technology.

This migration policy also reduces exports by minimizing economic pressure on U.S. companies to build up complementary trade with people in poor countries.

Migration undermines employees’ workplace rights, and it widens the regional economic gaps between the Democrats’ cheap-labor coastal states and the Republicans’ heartland and southern states.

An economy fueled by extraction migration also drains Americans’ political clout over elites. It alienates young people and radicalizes Americans’ democratic civic culture because it gives an excuse for wealthy elites and progressives to ignore despairing Americans at the bottom of society, such as drug addicts.

This progressive-backed colonialism-like economic strategy kills many migrants. It exploits the poverty of migrants and splits foreign families as it extracts human resources from poor home countries to serve wealthy U.S. investors.

Progressives hide this extraction migration economic policy behind a wide variety of noble-sounding narratives and theatrical border security programs. For example, they claim the U.S. is a “Nation of Immigrants,” that migration helps migrants, and that the state must renew itself by replacing populations.

Similarly, establishment Republicans, corporate media, and major GOP donors hide the skew caused by migration. They suppress any recognition of the pocketbook impact and instead tout border chaos, welfare spending, migrant crime, and drug smuggling.

Many polls show the public wants to welcome some immigration. But the polls also show deep and broad public opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into the good jobs U.S. graduates need to raise families.

Admitted socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said that America needs more immigration because young people are simply not having enough kids.

Citing the “burdens of capitalism,” Ocasio-Cortez issued her defense of unfettered immigration in an Instagram post this week, saying young people simply cannot afford children in this economic system.

“There are quite a few countries that are really struggling because young people, under the burdens of capitalism and living in a society that is increasingly concentrating wealth among the rich, we’re not having kids. Or we’re not having kids at the same rate,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

“And we actually need immigrant populations to help balance things out. We can’t continue to fund social security, Medicare, all of this stuff without immigrants. And it’s always been that way. Don’t act like this is some new trend or anything like that,” she added.

The socialist congresswoman from New York issued her passionate defense of immigration after she said that migrants are a “blessing” as rent exponentially rises in her own district.

“What a lot of Republican politicians fail to understand is that not everyone shares their zero-sum, scarcity mindset. Many of us understand that immigrants and refugees are a blessing. They have so much to offer our country, & much of our growth as a nation is because of them,” she said after Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis shipped 50 migrants up to Martha’s Vineyard.

“Shout out to Massachusetts and the people of Martha’s Vineyard for showing the world what the best of America looks like,” she added.
