THE INVASION THROUGH OPEN BORDERS CALIFORNIA - San Diego Takes Over as Busiest Border Sector — 9K in Past Week

BUT AREN'T THE CHINESE JOJO BIDEN'S BIGGEST PAYMASTERS???

And just to complicate matters and show how high the stakes are, China is supplying the base materials for manufacturing fentanyl and other drugs to the cartels (both Latin American and Middle Eastern) that ship their completed products into America.

The Middle Eastern War Being Waged Across America’s Southern Border

The dangers from the steady stream of millions of unvetted migrants crossing illegally into our country should be clear to everyone. However, the most understated threat is that of terrorist infiltration. Reports of tens of thousands of military-age Middle Eastern men coming through should heighten everyone’s concerns about the potential for nation-ending terrorism.

The Mexican cartel drug trafficking is far worse than most might think. Terrorist organization Hezbollah has partnered with the cartels and is active south of our border in various countries, including Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Panama, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, and CuraƧao. They also operate their drug networks in America and Canada.

Multiple U.S. presidents have ignored this ongoing problem—although President Trump should be excluded from culpability since he vigorously fought for a wall to protect America’s southern border. Both Democrats and the Establishment Wing of his own party vigorously opposed his efforts. If Trump does not get back into office, the problems at our southern border will destabilize our country.

In 2011, Roger F. Noriega and Jose R. Cardenas were already warning about the mounting terrorism threat from Hezbollah in Latin America (emphasis added):

Over the last several years Hezbollah and its patrons in Iran have greatly expanded their operations in Latin America to the detriment of inter- American security and U.S. strategic interests. Today, Hezbollah is using the Western Hemisphere as a staging ground, fundraising center, and operational base to wage asymmetric warfare against the United States. Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez and other anti-American governments in the region have facilitated this expansion by rolling out the welcome mats for Hezbollah and Iran.

Already in 2011, estimates were that, in the tri-border area and elsewhere in Latin America, Islamic extremists were remitting $300-$500 million annually back to Middle East terrorists. This works with each Hezbollah cell operating like an independent, and extremely sophisticated “franchise.” Hezbollah operatives establish mosques and other Islamic centers and then begin to convert and recruit people, establish internet sites, utilize media broadcasting, and develop operational systems that oversee logistics, planning, surveillance, and mission execution.

As President Trump has noted, these terrorists are very smart. At least, they’re smarter than the vast majority of those in Washington who either downplay the danger they pose or, worse, completely ignore it.

Since 2011, things have only gotten worse when it comes to Islamic terrorism posed on our southern borders. At the end of 2023, Celina B. Realuyo explained,

For decades, the Tri-Border Area of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay has been the hub of Iranian and Hezbollah activity in Latin America, capitalizing on large Lebanese and Shiite communities. According to the late Argentine special prosecutor Alberto Nissan, Hezbollah established its presence in Latin America in the mid-1980s, beginning in the Tri-Border Area, a relatively lawless region. From its base in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, it set up illicit enterprises to fund its operations in the Middle East and elsewhere. This includes money laundering, counterfeiting, piracy, and drug trafficking. In addition to trafficking illicit drugs from Paraguay to Europe, the group has reportedly expanded into cryptocurrency mining.

Hezbollah has made billions in drug trafficking, as well as money laundering, counterfeiting, etc., to fund its international terrorism. Significantly, since Biden’s open border policy began, it can make common cause with Latin American cartels, which get support from leftist Latin American governments.

According to Arizona law enforcement personnel, cartels are buying up real estate on both sides of the border to set up staging areas and camps. These cartels operate with high-tech communications equipment and utilize scouts with snipers on high ground along trafficking lanes. Border enforcement personnel further report that the Mexican army has occasionally provided surveillance and coverfire for traffickers on occasion.

By tying into the drug cartels, Hezbollah has expanded its networks into America, all while getting protection from Mexico and other corrupt governments with leftist leadership (e.g., Venezuela). Brazil’s current leftist government, which strongly supports Hamas, is unlikely to stand against Hezbollah.

Mexico is a belligerent nation acting in a warlike manner towards America. It is time to move against Mexico along with Venezuela and any other nation that aligns with Hezbollah and its sponsor, Iran. Doing so makes more sense than continuing our proxy war against Russia. Our actions against our South American adversaries should be political, financial, and, most of all, physicalWe have every right to attack terrorist training centers and destroy their drug networks. Our national survival depends on it.

And just to complicate matters and show how high the stakes are, China is supplying the base materials for manufacturing fentanyl and other drugs to the cartels (both Latin American and Middle Eastern) that ship their completed products into America. China is effectively supporting Iran’s interests. This is the new Nexus of Evil: China, Iran, Russia, and various Latin American states such as Mexico and Venezuela.

America desperately needs to focus on the threats to our nation that are taking place in the Western Hemisphere. The war America needs to fight is against Hezbollah and its allies operating in our hemisphere. To win that war, we must directly support Israel, which is also battling Iran’s proxies (Hamas from Gaza and Hezbollah from Lebanon). We share a common enemy and need to work together for our shared survival.

San Diego Takes Over as Busiest Border Sector — 9K in Past Week

San Diego-Tucson Migrant Apps in April (U.S. Border Patrol/San Diego, Tucson Sectors)
U.S. Border Patrol/San Diego, Tucson Sectors

San Diego Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 9,000 migrants last week. The report propelled the sector into the busiest position for the second consecutive week. Apprehensions in the Tucson Sector recently fell to below 7,000 per week for the first time in months.

San Diego Sector Chief Patrol Agent Patricia McGurk-Daniel posted a weekly recap on X, crediting her agents with the apprehension of 8,959 migrants during the second week of April. This is up from just under 7,000 one week earlier.

Between April 3 and April 10, San Diego Sector agents apprehended 6,997 migrants. The two-week total of 15,956 migrant apprehensions catapulted the sector into first place.

In contrast, the Tucson Sector, which led the apprehensions reports for the past several months, fell to 13,300 for the two most recent weekly reports by Chief Patrol Agent John Modlin.

For several months, the Tucson Sector averaged more than 10,000 apprehensions per week.

Beachside residents of Carlsbad, California, were shocked earlier this week when a boat loaded with more than 20 suspected illegal migrants sped onto the beach and unloaded its cargo, Breitbart Texas reported.

A local resident captured the video as the boat narrowly missed people in the water. The human smuggling incident appeared to be coordinated with vehicles waiting to pick up many of the migrants and shuttle them inland.

“I counted 22 people jumping off. It looked like a military exercise,” the cameraman told the San Diego ABC affiliate. One car, one SUV, and then ten got in it, but they left the rest behind, and they [migrants] just started walking towards Carlsbad.”

San Diego agents encountered just over 33,000 migrants during the month of March, making the sector the second busiest for the month. The Tucson Sector accounted for 42,000 migrant apprehensions that month.

Mexican cartel violence is now spilling into San Diego -report

Plenty of people think Joe Biden's open borders is mainly about millions of illegals rolling into the U.S., while the billions rolling into Mexico's notorious crime cartels as a result is Mexico's problem, not ours.

But that's not quite what's going on.

Mexico's cartels have grown so big and so powerful from migrant and drug smuggling that they not only threaten Mexico, they are now taking their internecine warfare on the road into the U.S., which now faces a Tijuana-like future. If you recall the sight of all those Tijuana cars burning as that city shut down from cartel warfare, obviously it can happen here, too.

In a little-noted San Diego Union-Tribune frontpager from Sunday, headlined "Tijuana drug violence bleeds into San Diego County with recent cartel shootings":

Three shootings that left two people dead and three wounded over the past couple of months in San Diego County were linked to Mexican drug cartels and involved a drug cell embroiled in a vicious dispute with its rivals in Baja California, according to sources with knowledge of cartel activity and the ongoing investigations.

One of the shootings wounded James Bryant Corona, an alleged drug cell leader with dual U.S.-Mexican citizenship, according to sources on both sides of the border with knowledge of the investigation. Baja California Deputy Attorney General Rafael Orozco Vargas described Corona as “one of the main generators of violence” in Tijuana and greater Baja California.

Another attack killed 35-year-old Christian Espinoza Silver, a reputed member of the same drug cell, after a gunman opened fire on him inside a BMW near the parking garage of a pricey high-rise apartment complex in University City.

University City is the wealthy area just east of ultra-wealthy La Jolla, and nowhere near the border badlands where such activity wouldn't be that surprising. These kinds of rubouts have been unheard of up until now, although there was a good report from investigative reporter Ioan Grillo at Crashout Media about cartel kidnapping and 'stewmaker' activity going on in Chula Vista just south of San Diego and closer to the Mexican border in the past couple years, writing at the time.

After strangling the two victims, the gangsters threw their bodies head-first into barrels of acid, using the techniques of an infamous Tijuana killer known as “El Pozolero” or “The Stewmaker.” They buried the remaining bones and flesh in arid ground under a horse ranch. The macabre burial site was not in Mexico however but north of the border in San Ysidro on the outskirts of San Diego.

I commented on that last month here.

The U-T report is long and interesting, but subscriber-only. (The U-T can be very left-biased, but does good work on Navy and some border issues and has some good subscription deals and trials that might be worth looking at.)

The story explains why the matter is important:

While Tijuana and Baja California have for decades been plagued by such violence related to organized crime, rarely in recent years has it bled over so publicly and brazenly into San Diego County, sparking concern among some U.S. authorities and those familiar with Mexican drug trafficking organizations.

To summarize, the cartel thugs who've terrorized Mexico are now openly operating here in San Diego, too, and that includes their gun battles and rubouts. Cartels have been known to recruit their worst triggermen from the San Diego side of the border. Some have dual citizenship or serve as anchor babies for their illegally present parents, which makes catching them harder. Worse still, the Mexican cops may be looking for them as the ringleaders for various murders, but as cartel kingpins, they aren't wanted for any trigger-pulling murders over here, so they skate easily.

Obviously, there are some legal things that need to be ironed out, based on that report, but anyone asking for it is probably going to be as lucky as the residents of Imperial Beach have been in trying to get the Biden administration to halt Tijuana sewage from fouling their U.S. beach. The Biden swamp doesn't pay much attention to what is going on so far away over here, we are just another Lahaina.

One official quoted, a former lawman named Steve Duncan, said that only the integrity of the U.S. courts kept this region from becoming a third-world hellhole.

“The only thing that’s keeping (the violence) from getting out of control here is we have integrity in our system,” Duncan said, adding that it’s important that investigators share information and solve the shootings. “It has to be investigated and prosecuted ... We have to set an example.”

Which is good food for thought. Anyone want to say the judicial system is as pristine as it used to be back when it was a two-party city?

Justice in fact is collapsing here, as it is in all blue cities, meaning, the cartels are going to feel increasingly comfortable operating here and taking their violence here, too as the quest for dominance over profits from the illegal drug trade and the illegal alien trade continue to drive cartel warfare.

Which means the cartel violence will get bolder and more brazen and more over here than ever. There could be headless bodies hanging from bridges and narco banners hung from overpasses as somehow nothing gets done about it, and there could be burning cars and gunfire raging through the city with very little done about it as this city gets bluer.

And there is no doubt that these kinds of crimes are happening that hadn't happened before:

According to the Union-Tribune:

Erubiel Tirado, a security expert and professor at Mexico’s Universidad Iberoamericana, said cartel violence in a U.S. border city would be a “huge change” in the pattern of how criminal trafficking organizations operate.

“Traditionally American cities ... were ... kind of sanctuaries (for) the kingpins and some important members of each dominant Mexican organization,” Tirado wrote in an email. “In that sense, the non written rule was do not ‘heat’ (those) territories with violence and criminal activities.”

All of that is a direct result of Joe Biden's open border and the spillover effects that follow just as surely as those busloads of illegals from China and 100 other countries.

It's not just illegals who are coming. It's what they are bringing with them as they come that stands to turn San Diego and every other blue city into cities with Tijuana-like violence driven by the quest for drug and illegals profits.

JOE IS ON THE CARTELS' SIDE. SOCIOPATH JOE IS ALWAYS ON THE OTHER SIDE. THE CARTELS CONVEY HIS UNRIGESTERED DEM VOTERS OVER THE BORDER AND INTO OUR JOBS AND VOTING BOOTHS

Mexican authorities have found several large groups of migrants at hotels or being moved in tractor-trailers in recent weeks. Officials are also seeing a spike in ransom kidnappings where cartel-connected human smugglers hold migrants to further extort their families.

Californians Arming Up for Self-Defense as Illegals Flood into Cities

Californians are arming up for self-defense as the U.S. Border Patrol carries out street drop-offs of illegal immigrants in and around cities like San Diego.

The New York Post reported that “roughly 125,000 migrants have been released onto the streets in the San Diego area since September,” and many area residents are reacting by purchasing firearms and ammunition for themselves and their families.

Cory Gautereaux owns a gun store, Firearms Unlimited California, in northeast San Diego and he has seen business increase as more and more illegals are let loose on the streets.

Gautereaux said, “The problem for people that live around the gun store is the street dropoffs.”

He added, “That’s driven business to us.”

On October 11, 2023, the Daily Mail noted that the Border Patrol “[released] 13,000 migrants onto San Diego streets in a month due to overflowing shelters.”

The Post pointed out that gun shop customer Keith Carnevale echoed Gautereaux’s observations, “My wife and I have had home defense guns for many years. Recently, though, with all the stuff that’s happening south of the border and all the people coming over, my concerns have broadened.”

Carnevale indicated his whole family is now armed.

California has more gun controls than any state in the Union. Those controls include a ten-day waiting period for gun purchases; this means Californians who fear for their lives and go to a gun store to acquire a firearm for self-defense have to wait ten business days before taking possession of the gun.

Joe Biden’s Parole Pipeline Imports Over 950,000 Foreign Nationals to U.S., Exceeding Population of South Dakota

President Joe Biden’s parole pipeline has released more than 950,000 foreign nationals into the United States since its inception in January 2023 — exceeding the entire population of South Dakota.

Late last week, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released figures for March, showing Biden’s parole pipeline is continuing to release tens of thousands of foreign nationals into the United States interior via the southern border and commercial flights.

From January 2023 through March 2024, more than 950,000 foreign nationals have been released into American communities thanks to Biden’s parole pipeline. The pipeline brings foreign nationals to the U.S. through the administration’s “CBP One” mobile app and “humanitarian parole.”

For perspective, more foreign nationals have arrived in the United States on parole under Biden than there are people living in the state of South Dakota.

The CBP One app, whereby those in northern Mexico schedule appointments at the border for release into the United States interior, has brought more than 547,000 foreign nationals into the country. Those arriving via CBP One are primarily from Venezuela, Haiti, and Mexico.

Likewise, about 404,000 nationals of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela have arrived in the United States on humanitarian parole during the same 15-month period. Those securing humanitarian parole fly into the United States via commercial flights after getting approval from DHS to enter the country.

Specifically, DHS has allowed about 84,000 Cubans, 154,000 Haitians, 69,000 Nicaraguans, and 95,000 Venezuelans to fly to the United States and secure humanitarian parole.

Those getting parole under Biden have a massively high success rate if they apply for the immigration benefit. Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL), during a hearing last week, said DHS is approving parole for more than 97 percent of applicants.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas argued that despite the high approval rate, “those [parole] cases are received on an individualized basis.”

FBI Director: China Considers Vital U.S. Infrastructure ‘Fair Game’ for Cyberattacks

FBI director Chris Wray said at a security conference on Thursday that China’s legion of state-sponsored hackers “considers every sector that makes our society run as fair game in its bid to dominate on the world stage.”

Wray said China’s plan is to “land low blows against civilian infrastructure to try to induce panic and break America’s will to resist.”

The FBI director was speaking at security conference called “Summit on Modern Conflict and Emerging Threats,” hosted by Vanderbilt University in Nashville. The 2024 edition of the summit was focused on “challenges China poses to the United States,” ranging from China’s dominance of critical supply chains to the fentanyl epidemic and cyberwar.

Wray called the audience’s attention to Volt Typhoon, the massive hacking operation linked to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) that penetrated an alarming number of critical infrastructure systems in the U.S., including water, power, oil, and transportation.

Volt Typhoon was detected and exposed by Microsoft cybersecurity technicians in May 2023. Microsoft said China’s state-sponsored hackers sought to develop “capabilities that could disrupt critical communications infrastructure between the United States and Asia region during future crises.”

Wray noted that China-sponsored hackers were “pre-positioned for potential cyberattacks against U.S. oil and natural gas companies way back in 2011.”

Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Christopher Wray (OLIVIER DOULIERY/POOL/AFP via Getty Images)

“When one victim company set up a honeypot – essentially, a trap designed to look like a legitimate part of a computer network with decoy documents – it took the hackers all of 15 minutes to steal data related to the control and monitoring systems,” he recalled.

Wray pointed out that in that incident, the hackers ignored “financial and business-related information,” which suggests “their goals were even more sinister than stealing a leg up economically.”

Honeypot systems are usually hardened to make cracking their core software extremely difficult, but the designers then camouflage the system to look much more vulnerable than it really is. A honeypot is a setup, and its administrators know they will be invaded, so for the invaders to quickly defeat the trap and penetrate the security of the rigged system is a remarkable achievement.

Volt Typhoon was a menacing example of a hacking technique known as “living off the land,” in which the hackers penetrate systems, deposit malware payloads, and then conceal their presence by exploiting and imitating normal system functions. The approach could be compared to a thief who takes a job as a bank teller and quietly works there for years before finally deciding to rob the bank.

“Living off the land” is an alarming tactic because most private hacker groups would not bother to hide for years after penetrating a system. Hackers are usually motivated to steal, vandalize, or hijack a system fairly soon after they gain entry, worried that their presence could be detected or their access to the system might be cut. They are typically eager to steal data for fun or profit.

As Wray explained at the Vanderbilt seminar, the major reason a group of highly skilled and coordinated hackers would lurk in a system for years is because they are planning massive acts of sabotage and waiting for their government handlers to tell them when the time is right to strike.

Wray said the Chinese Communist Party is driven by “aspirations to wealth and power,” which it hopes to realize by seizing control of “economic development in the areas most critical to tomorrow’s economy.”

Other speakers at the seminar highlighted Volt Typhoon as a new and dangerous type of cyberwar menace, including Gen. Timothy Haugh, head of the National Security Agency (NSA) and U.S. Cyber Command.

“What you see in Volt Typhoon is an example of how China has approached establishing access to put things under threat. There is not a valid intelligence reason to be looking at a water treatment plant from a cyber perspective,” he pointed out.

Haugh warned that Volt Typhoon sent “a pretty loud signal” about how China plans to “use cyberspace in a crisis,” such as a confrontation with the U.S. over Taiwan. He strongly recommended listening to that signal.

“China is pursuing deliberate campaigns to gain advantage in every aspect of national power. The threat posed by China is real – the PRC has the desire and ability to make themselves our peer on the world stage,” Haugh said.

Wray pointed to a “crisis between China and Taiwan” as the kind of scenario where China would activate its lurking cyberwar assets. He predicted the crisis could arrive by 2027, a timetable that would explain why China is stepping up its “cyber intrusions and criminal activity,” seemingly without much concern that its hackers might get caught.

“The fact is, the PRC’s targeting of our critical infrastructure is both broad and unrelenting,” he said.

RELATED — Cyber Official: ‘Great’ Blinken Will Have ‘Discussion’ with China on Their Ability to Attack Critical Infrastructure Because It’s Hard to Prevent

Wray said that “joint, sequenced operations” with partner agencies and corporations were the key to thwarting the new breed of cyberwar. He cited several recent examples of hacker attacks in which the damage was quickly contained by coordinating with partner agencies and companies such as Microsoft.

For example, when Microsoft Exchange was hacked in 2021, Wray said the FBI and Microsoft worked together to create “a first-of-its-kind surgical, court-authorized operation, copying and removing the harmful code from hundreds of vulnerable computers.”

The FBI likewise coordinated with private companies on the Volt Typhoon operation to “not only remove Volt Typhoon’s malware from the routers it had infected throughout the U.S., but also to sever their connection to that network of routers and prevent their reinfection.”

Wray suggested private companies should maintain their own cybersecurity operations, develop response plans for intrusions, follow good system practices such as regularly installing software updates, and notify the FBI quickly when they suspect a cyberattack is underway.

In an interview with the Vanderbilt Hustler after the security conference, Haugh said China has some advantages in cyberwarfare as a closed, authoritarian society with a massive security and censorship apparatus, but the U.S. has the tremendous advantage of being able to work with allies on projects like AUKUS Pillar II, which includes the development of cutting-edge cybersecurity.

Haugh suggested free societies should improve their combined ability to detect and respond to cyber threats, such as TikTok, the Chinese Communist-controlled social media platform that has been prohibited in government agencies – and could soon be banned outright in the United States – because it aggressively harvests data on its users.

“Is an individual concerned about their data being accessible by another nation, on command? I don’t know that we’ve been able to completely communicate that in a way that allows everybody to really understand what that risk means,” Haugh mused.
