Fox News’ Tucker Carlson is going to have Biden whistleblower Tony Bobulinski on his show tonight. Bobulinski is the one who has said that he was involved in China deals with the Biden family, that Hunter Biden’s emails regarding the deal that have been unearthed are real, and that Joe Biden was in on it. This proposal was hatched when Joe Biden was vice president. Hunter referred to his dad as the “chairman” and often called him to get final approval on certain areas of business. This deal was with a Chinese firm that has since gone belly up but had ties to a rival government. It’s China, folks. It’s all shady and immersed with their brand of communism. Joe was slated to reportedly get a 10 percent equity stake in this deal.

Bobulinski held an impromptu press conference before the second and final presidential debate. He laid it all out. He has since turned over all records of reported business he had with the Bidens over to the FBI along with the devices used to communicate these reported deals. He’s slated to be interviewed by the bureau as well:

"I'm making this statement to set the record straight about the involvement of the Biden family. Vice President Biden, his brother Jim Biden and his son Hunter Biden in dealings with the Chinese. I've heard Joe Biden say that he's never discussed business with Hunter. That is false. I have first-hand knowledge of this because I directly dealt with the Biden family, including Joe Biden," Bobulinksi said, adding he was warned about coming forward. "The evidence sits on these three phones. I don't want to go into anything further. This will be discussed with Senator Johnson and his committee and the American people can decide what's fact."

"Here are the facts I know and everything I'm saying is corroborated by emails, whats app chats, agreements, documents, and other evidence," he continued.

Bobulinski physically presented the phones and said the years of communications to prove his claims.

"I brought, I guess, for the record three phones that spanned the years 2015 to 2018 these phones have never been held by anybody else besides myself. I was told this past Sunday by somebody who was also involved in this matter that if I went public this information would be it would bury all of us, man," he said. "I have no wish to bury anyone. I've never been political. The few contributions I've made have been the Democrats. But what I am is a patriot, and a veteran, to protect my family name, and my business reputation. I need to ensure that the true facts are out there."

These allegations were brought up during the final debate and Joe Biden was not happy about it. It knocked him off-kilter, and overall—Joe struggled during this one. The fake news liberal media press wants to suffocate this story. Twitter and Facebook tried to censor it. The emails show that Joe Biden is a liar when it comes to him not knowing what the hell was going on regarding Hunter’s deals. Second, does it show that he will go rogue to protect those interests? Regarding the Burisma arrangement in 2014, where Hunter was put on the board of this Ukrainian energy company when Joe was heading up our policy efforts in the country. Hunter was paid $50k/month for the gig, where he reportedly sold access to top Obama officials. Burisma was also looking for other protections as well—and they got it. VP Joe fired the prosecutor looking into Burisma by threatening to withhold aid. Tucker brought that up during his show previously, but now he’ll have more from Bobulinski who reportedly has messages from the Bidens begging him to keep his mouth shut, as him spilling the details will ruin the reputations of all involved. Sean Davis and his crew at The Federalist have more:

The Federalist confirmed with sources familiar with the plans that Bobulinski, a retired Navy lieutenant and Biden associate, will be airing tapes of Biden operatives begging Bobulinski to remain quiet as former Vice President Joe Biden nears the finish line to the White House next week.

Bobulinski first came forward last week with a public statement emailed to The Federalist and other outlets going on-the-record to corroborate incriminating claims to surface from the New York Post the week prior and the long-anticipated Senate report published in September on the Biden family’s potentially criminal business activity.

“Hunter Biden called his dad ‘the Big Guy’ or ‘my Chairman,’ and frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals that we were discussing,” wrote Bobulinski, confirming that the identity of “the Big Guy’ in a May 17, 2017 email published in the New York Post is indeed a reference to Joe Biden. The same email showed Hunter Biden was being offered a $3 million a year contract from a Chinese businessman with deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for “introductions alone,” and 10 percent was flagged to be set aside for “the Big Guy.”

On Friday, The Federalist published explosive text messages from a Biden business associate instructing Bobulinski to conceal Joe Biden’s involvement with deals related to the CCP-linked firm.

If you’re away, set your DVRs. If you’re around, grab some popcorn. Supposedly, some of these recordings were sent to The Wall Street Journal. They never responded.

A Biden Family Special Prosecutor in 2021?

If Joe Biden loses on Nov. 3, public interest in whether his son Hunter exploited the family name to rake in millions of dollars from foreign donors will likely fade away.

It will not matter, and no one will care.

But if Joe Biden wins the presidency, a prediction: By the Ides of March 2021, there will be an independent counsel or special prosecutor named to investigate the Biden family fortunes and how they were amassed.

Why is such an investigation a near certainty in a Biden era?

First, there is a 50-year tradition in America of an antagonistic media and political enemies pulling down presidents they oppose.

Watergate was the prototype -- a political bugging of the sort that J. Edgar Hoover used to do as a courtesy for presidents.

Yet, the petty crime and White House cover-up was blown up by a hostile Congress, media and special prosecutor's office to bring down a president who had just won 49 states and 60% of the nation.

In 1984, Ronald Reagan won a 49-state landslide. But when he lost the Senate in 1986, Washington, D.C., sought to break his presidency and bring him down for sending aid to anti-Communist Contras in Nicaragua. Reagan narrowly escaped to go on and win the Cold War for the West.

An investigation by an independent counsel of President Bill Clinton's Arkansas land deal metastasized into a sex scandal about which the president perjured himself. This led to his impeachment by a Republican House.

Even before he became president, Donald Trump was the target of an FBI probe. That evolved into the Mueller investigation, which took years to conclude that Trump hadn't colluded with Vladimir Putin in the 2016 election.

Yet, serious damage was done to Trump's presidency. And despite the failure of the Mueller investigation to find a smoking gun, Nancy Pelosi's House impeached the president for a phone call in which he suggested to the president of Ukraine that he might cooperate in a U.S. investigation of what Joe and Hunter Biden were up to in his country.

So it is that America has become a country where if you lose the presidential election, the fallback position is to impeach the victor.

The Third Worldization of American politics is well-advanced.

Yet, the cliche remains true: Where there's smoke, there's fire.

And Hunter Biden's business and investment career is like a California wildfire where the smoke can be seen in Colorado.

Consider. While Vice President Joe Biden was President Obama's point man on cleaning up corruption in Ukraine, son Hunter, with zero experience in the oil and gas industry, was suddenly offered a seat on the board of Burisma Holdings, a corrupt gas company in Ukraine, at $83,000 a month.

In 2013, Hunter accompanied his father to Beijing.

During his stay, Hunter apparently peeled off to arrange for $1.5 billion in Chinese funds to be transferred to an investment fund in which he was an advisor. So claims Trump.

According to a Senate report, in 2014, the widow of the mayor of Moscow transferred $3.5 million to an investment company started by Hunter Biden. Hunter's lawyer denies it.

Comes now word that Hunter was in business with a Chinese company in 2017 and may have taken in $5 million, while stiffing his partner Tony Bobulinski.

Bobulinski, a former naval officer, claims that Hunter sought to leverage the Biden family name, and that he, Hunter and Joe Biden's brother Jim were involved in a project to raise cash from the Chinese. Moreover, the former vice president was a silent partner, the "big guy" in the operation whose name was never to be mentioned.

Bobulinski said he met with Joe Biden for an hour to discuss it.

The Biden campaign calls this Russian misinformation.

Bottom line, says Joe Biden:

I have never received a dollar in foreign money. I never used my office or influence to advance my son's business with foreign entities. I never spoke to my son about any of his dealings in Ukraine, Russia, China or anywhere else.

Major media are either denouncing the allegations as unproven or ignoring the story, the motive for which is apparent. Journalistic duty be damned. We have to get rid of Trump. And anything that jeopardizes that highest of goals should be buried until after Election Day.

However, if Joe Biden is elected, the incentive to cover for him and for Hunter vanishes. The old journalistic enthusiasm for the hunt to bring down another president will reappear, and more information will come spilling out.

And as the claims and counterclaims, and allegations and counterallegations collide, pressure will build for Biden's Department of Justice to bring in an independent counsel to investigate and separate what is true from what is false and what is unethical from what is criminal.

If Biden wins, son Hunter is going to have an exciting spring.

THEY'RE WAITING IN LINE NOW FOR JOE BIDEN'S AMNESTY - More than 1 Million Migrants Are in the U.S. Seeking Asylum

A federal report reveals that 1.15 million asylum-seeking people are already living in the United States, even as Joe Biden’s 2020 platform promises to welcome many more migrants.

The resident number of asylum seekers is “enough to make them the 43rd largest state,” said a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies, which used federal 2019 data. According to the report:

There were 1,148,416 pending asylum cases in the United States — at a minimum. If those applicants were a state, they would be the 43rd largest in the United States, ahead of Montana, Rhode Island, Delaware, the Dakotas, Alaska, Vermont, and Wyoming.

The federal number is roughly one out of 300 Americans or one out four 18-year-old Americans. It is roughly equal to the population of Dallas, Texas, or San Jose, California, and it hurts American employees by flooding the labor and housing markets.

And Joe Biden wants to admit many more refugees.

Biden’s 2020 plan promises to “reassert America’s commitment to asylum-seekers and refugees,” wipe out President Donald Trump’s asylum reforms, let companies import more visa workers, and let mayors import temporary workers. Biden also wants to accelerate the inflow of chain migration migrants, end migration enforcement against illegal aliens unless they commit a felony, and dramatically accelerate the inflow of poor refugees to at least 125,000 per year.

In contrast, Trump is likely to reject migrants, narrow asylum claims yet further, and fund the transfer of migrants waiting in Mexico back to Latin American countries. His 2020 plan offers broadly popular — but quite limited — pro-American restrictions on migration and visa workers. For example, in many speeches, Trump generally ignores the economic impact of blue-collar and white-collar migration on Americans while stressing issues of crime, outsiders, diseases, or welfare, even though his low-immigration policies have been a popular boon to Americans.

Asylum seekers are different from the illegal population of at least 11 million migrants, which includes about 8 million illegal workers.

The asylum seekers are legally allowed to stay in the United States, and most are allowed to get temporary work permits to compete against Americans for jobs. This means the asylum seekers are similar to the roughly 2 million temporary foreign workers who arrive via pipelines, such as the H-1B visa.

These three categories — 8 million working illegals, 1 million asylum seekers, and 2 million temporary workers — add roughly 11 million workers to the nation’s workforce of roughly 150 million workers. That is good for employers because the extra workers reduce employers’ need to compete for workers with offers of benefits and wage raises.

The three categories also add roughly 17 million consumers to Wall Street’s economic and housing forecasts, so spiking revenues and stock values.

The population of asylum-seekers consists of three groups, most who are stuck in backlogged approval processes:

Refugees: Federal law allows the Department of State to select foreign people overseas for refugee status, such as people displaced by wars in Somalia and the Congo. The department has selected almost 4 million people since 1980. This program is supported by progressives who want to promote divide-and-rule diversity in Minnesota and other states and by cheap-labor business groups who want a continued inflow of cheap labor. In many cases, the newly imported refugees are used to replace prior refugees who were injured at low-tech slaughterhouses.  This current inflow of refugees is now small because President Donald Trump set the 2019 inflow to 30,000.

Affirmative Asylum: In 2019, 130,132 people already in the United States asked the Department of Homeland Security’s Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for asylum, pushing the end-of-year backlog up to 598,692, according to the State Department’s annual report to Congress on refugees. Many of the applicants are illegal migrants who have been working in jobs and want to get legalized.

Defensive Asylum: Foreign people who are getting deported can ask the Department of Justice (DoJ) immigration judges for asylum.  That backlog has risen to 549,724, according to the CIS report, and has greatly slowed the deportation of economic migrants, illegals, and people who failed to win Affirmative Asylum. This category includes the migrants who arrive at the U.S. border from Latin America, India, or Africa, and who must first convince tUSCIS officials that they have a “credible fear” of persecution in their home country. If they pass the initial credible fear test, they can ask the DoJ judges for defensive asylum. In 2019, 105,439 people –mostly from Latin America — passed the initial test for credible-fear asylum requests.

These huge inflows have crowded out the public’s prior view of asylum as a remedy for foreign wars and disasters. In turn, the huge inflow has caused a massive drop-off since 2014 in public support for the acceptance of persecuted people.

In response, Trump has gradually reformed regulations to shrink the number of people who can apply for asylum or who can get work permits while they wait for asylum. Trump has also begun using a 1996 law to conduct “Expedited Removals” from the United States, which reduces detained illegals’ ability to plead for asylum.

Progressives denounce Trump’s curbs on asylum but have not suggested rules to exclude people who seek asylum for economic reasons. Mother Jones, for example, a left-wing outlet, has posted several articles lamenting the drop in accepted asylum claims:

Right now, it doesn’t matter how detailed, how plausible, how consistent your story is. It doesn’t even matter, in a basic sense, how true it is. Asylum is dead. And the power of stories—the one asylum seekers like Gaspar and Francisco tell to save themselves, the one the US government tells about the fairness of our laws, the one we tell ourselves about our goodness, our decency as Americans—died with it.

Open-ended legal migration is praised by business and progressives partly because migrants’ arrival helps transfer wealth from wage-earners to stockholders.

Migration moves money from employees to employers, from families to investors, from young to old, from homebuyers to real estate investors, and from the central states to the coastal states.

Migration also allows investors and CEOs to skimp on labor-saving technology, sideline U.S. minorities, ignore disabled peopleexploit stoop labor in the fields, short-change labor in the cities, impose tight control on American professionals, centralize technological innovation, undermine labor rights, and to get many progressive reporters to cheerlead for Wall Street’s priorities.

Tom Cotton: Joe Biden Presidency Would Cause ‘Massive Surge’ of Illegal Immigration

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) told Breitbart News that a “massive surge” of migrants would seek to illegally immigrate to America if Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden becomes president.

Cotton highlighted Biden’s promise during Thursday’s presidential debate to extend a “pathway to citizens” to illegal aliens.

“Joe Biden’s answers on immigration showed just how truly radical the Democratic Party has become,” Cotton said in an interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow. “This is now the party of open borders, mass migration, and blanket amnesty. Joe Biden said he’s going to send, in his first hundred days, a pathway-to-citizenship bill.”

Cotton continued, “That’s a big shift where the Democrats were just eight years ago. Remember the terrible so-called Gang of eight bill. It too would give a big amnesty and increase legal immigration by a lot, but at least it felt the need to make a gesture towards things like border security and workplace enforcement. The Democrats wouldn’t even accept that now.”

LISTEN:

Cotton noted Biden’s refusal to acknowledge the need for border security or interior enforcement in the context of possible future amnesty legislation for illegal aliens.

“Joe Biden is saying [he is] going to send an amnesty bill to the Congress in [his] first hundred days without asking anything in return, without trying to secure our border, without enforcing immigration [law in the] workplaces against unscrupulous employers, without cracking down on visa fraud,” Cotton remarked.

Biden’s position on immigration would incentivize millions of migrants to come to America should the former senator take the White House, estimated Cotton.

Cotton warned, “if Joe Biden wins, there’s going to be a massive surge of illegal aliens at our southern border. They’ve got six months to get in Ali Ali Oxen Free until Joe Biden passes a massive amnesty, and Joe Biden will be responsible for every bit of that Biden surge at our border.”

Cotton went on, “He’s also talking about importing millions and millions of new workers over and above the 15 million legal aliens here. They’re going to get amnesty and therefore right to work. He’s going to import millions of workers at a time when we have more than 10 million Americans who are still out of work because of the Wuhan coronavirus. So Joe Biden is going to bring in millions of new foreigners to compete with those Americans who are out of work at a time when we should be putting American workers first in line for American jobs.”

Cotton concluded, “It just shows how radicalized the Democrats have become on immigration.”

Online Liberals Show Their Ignorance on the Issue of Immigration Again After Trump's Coyote Comment

Source: AP Photo/Christian Torrez

President Trump sent Twitter liberals into a confused state during the final presidential debate between him and Democratic nominee Joe Biden when he mentioned how coyotes are involved in human trafficking at the U.S.-Mexico border.

People voiced their confusion as it appeared many believed Trump was referring to the animal and not the common terminology for people who smuggle illegal immigrants across the border.

And here lies the issue with liberals who only know how to virtue signal: They do not know the basic facts about the issues of illegal immigration and the hardship migrants face when making the dangerous trek. Many only see immigrants and the Latino community as a whole as a political weapon to bash Republicans with.

Anyone who has a basic understanding of the nature of the human trafficking situation at the U.S.-Mexico border understands "coyote" is the go-to phrase to describe people in the business. And they are not doing it out of the kindness of their heart. They charge large sums of money before the trip can even be made and are more than willing to leave people behind in the desert if they can not keep up or if they feel they are at risk of being caught by U.S. authorities themselves. More often than not, the coyotes are in the service of whatever drug cartel controls the region they are crossing over from.

This is not the first time their ignorance on the issue backfired. Recall in 2018 there was a big push from liberals and Democrats to post photographs of migrant kids in cages to highlight the "cruel" nature of the Trump administration. Except the only problem is the pictures they were posting were taken during the Obama administration because they were built while he was in office.

As I just came back from the U.S.-Mexico border in the El Paso Sector, even the claim from Democrats of the Trump administration not building any new wall where none existed before is not really true in practice. The previous "wall" was functionally useless in stopping illegal foot and vehicle crossings.

In regards to the 545 immigrant children who have been unable to be reunited with their parents, as moderator Kristin Welker asked, the Department of Homeland Security Chase Jennings said it does not tell the whole story:

"DHS has taken every step to facilitate the reunification of these families where the parents wanted such reunification to occur. The simple fact is this: after contact has been made with the parents to reunite them with their children, many parents have refused. In the current litigation, for example, out of the parents of 485 children whom Plaintiffs’ counsel has been able to contact, they have yet to identify a single family that wants their child reunited with them in their country of origin. The result is that the children remain in the U.S. while the parents remain in their home country."

EXCLUSIVE: ICE Places Detainer on Accused Houston Cop-Killer Illegally Present in U.S.

HOUSTON, Texas — A Salvadoran national with a criminal history in Dallas and Houston allegedly shot and killed a 41-year veteran Houston police sergeant Tuesday. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials placed a detainer on the accused cop-killer due to his reported illegal presence in the United States.

Update: After the publication of this article, ICE officials confirmed the exclusive information provided earlier Tuesday evening regarding the immigration status of the accused cop-killer. The statement reads:

Elmer Rolando Manzano-Martinez, 51, is a citizen of El Salvador and convicted criminal alien who is unlawfully present in the U.S. On Oct. 20, officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Houston, Texas, placed an immigration detainer with the Harris County (Texas) Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) on Manzano-Martinez after he was arrested for murder.

Original Story Continues:

Houston police officers responded to a call on the city’s south side Tuesday morning. It was at least the third time officers had been called to this residence in the past two weeks for domestic disturbances, according to Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo. The wife of 51-year-old Elmer Rolando Manzano called police when she could not get into the home to get her belongings.

After about an hour, Manzano’s 14-year-old son unlocked the door from outside and saw his father with a pistol.

“The suspect immediately engaged officers, shooting multiple rounds striking Officer Courtney Waller in the arm and striking Officer (Harold) Preston multiple times,” Chief Acevedo told reporters at an afternoon press conference. Sergeant Harold Preston died from multiple wounds to the head and a shoulder wound that embedded into his spine, the chief stated.

Chief Acevedo identified Manzano as the alleged shooter and said he has a criminal history.

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement official told Breitbart Texas on condition of anonymity that they placed an immigration detainer on Manzano, a citizen of El Salvador, after determining he was illegally present in the United States. The official said Manzano has no deportation history.

Court records from Houston and Dallas obtained by Breitbart Texas show Manzano has multiple felonies dating back to 1996.

The 230th Criminal District Court in Houston convicted Manzano in 2002 for Felony Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle. The court sentenced him to 120 days in jail.

In Dallas County, records show Manzano pleaded guilty to Felony Assault with Bodily Injury. In 1996, he faced a felony firearm charge related to possession of a handgun.

Acevedo said Sgt. Preston served the Houston Police Department for 41 years. He called the man an exemplary officer who “led from the front.”

The Houston police chief said Manzano will likely face multiple charges including murder of a police officer. “As good as he was as a cop, he was a better human being,” Acevedo said.

Kamala Harris Failed to Prosecute Illegal MS-13 Gang Member Months Before He Murdered Bologna Family

A known MS-13 Gang member, living illegally

in the United States, was arrested but went

unprosecuted by then-San Francisco District

Attorney Kamala Harris’ office months before

he murdered a California family.

On June 22, 2008, 48-year-old Tony Bologna and his three sons — 20-year-old Michael, 18-year-old Andrew, and 16-year-old Matthew — were driving home from a family barbeque in San Francisco, California, when illegal alien MS-13 gang member Edwin Ramos, driving alongside them, randomly opened fire.

Ramos killed Anthony, Michael, and Matthew in the shooting. Prosecutors said Ramos shot the Bolognas because he misidentified them as rival gang members who were involved in a gang murder that day.

Michael Bologna, Tony Bologna, and Matthew Bologna were murdered in June 2008 by illegal alien MS-13 Gang member Edwin Ramos. (Photos via Facebook)

The murder case rose to prominence as Harris, who is now Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden’s running mate, was San Francisco District Attorney. Despite a plea by Angel Mom Danielle Bologna to seek the death penalty against Ramos, Harris refused and instead sought a life sentence.

Ramos, three months before the Bologna murders, had a run-in with San Francisco police officers. According to the San Francisco Gate, police had warned Harris’ office that Ramos was a known MS-13 Gang member with multiple run-ins with the law.

Despite his record, Harris’ office did not prosecute Ramos, the San Francisco Gate reported in 2008:

In March, three months before the killings, Ramos was arrested in San Francisco after police pulled him over because his car had illegally tinted windows and no front license plate. An alleged gang member in the car tried to discard a gun, but police recovered it and later concluded that it had been used in a double killing, authorities said. [Emphasis added]

The police report of the incident cited “numerous documented contacts” that officers had with Ramos and the man who allegedly discarded the gun, and said both were active members of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) street gang. [Emphasis added]

San Francisco prosecutors, however, declined to file charges against Ramos, saying they couldn’t prove that he knew his companion had the gun. [Emphasis added]

Harris’ office claimed they needed another criminal charge Against Ramos in order to prosecute him, another report by the San Francisco Gate stated:

Police sent the case to prosecutors in District Attorney Kamala Harris’ office, who declined to file charges. They told investigators that there was no evidence that Ramos had known that Lopez had a gun, according to Harris’ office. [Emphasis added]

The gang charge had to have another crime associated with it for prosecutors to bring Ramos to trial, police and prosecutors said. [Emphasis added]

An account of Ramos’ arrest in March 2008 was published in the Los Angeles Times in July 2008. The report notes that after Harris’ office failed to press any charges against Ramos, he was released a couple of days later:

Ramos was also arrested March 30 on a weapons violation, along with an alleged gang member riding in his car. After he spent several days in jail, authorities decided to file charges against the other man but not him, and Ramos was released, said Eileen Hirst, a sheriff’s spokeswoman. [Emphasis added]

Deportation proceedings against Ramos could have been initiated but were not because of an apparent mix-up between the federal Immigration, Customs and Enforcement Agency and the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department, which runs the jail. [Emphasis added]

[…]

But ICE spokesman Tim Counts said the jail contacted federal immigration officials only once — at 3:44 a.m. April 2, two hours after Ramos had been released. [Emphasis added]

After the Bologna murders, Angel Mom Danielle Bologna pleaded with Harris to seek the death penalty against Ramos. Harris refused and instead sought a life sentence without parole.

Ramos was convicted in 2012 for the Bologna murders and appealed his conviction. A California appellate court upheld his conviction in 2014.

As Biden’s running mate, Harris supports a national sanctuary policy that would shield arrested illegal aliens from being turned over to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency for deportation proceedings.

Instead, the Biden-Harris plan advocates an amnesty for all 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living in the U.S. modeled on the Obama administration’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program which has lenient eligibility requirements.

In the last two years, ICE officers made 266,000 arrests of aliens with criminal records, including those charged or convicted of 100,000 assaults, 30,000 s ex crimes, and 4,000 violent killings. Over the years, thousands of Americans have been brutally killed by those who illegally entered our country, and thousands more lives will be lost if we don't act right now.

Human Smugglers Pack 100 Migrants in Refrigerated Trailer in Texas near Border

Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents working an interior immigration checkpoint in Texas disrupted yet another human smuggling operations utilizing a tractor-trailer. The agents found 100 migrants locked inside a dangerously cold refrigerated trailer about 60 miles from the border with Mexico.

Laredo North Station agents assigned to the Interstate 35 immigration checkpoint on October 7 observed a tractor-trailer approaching for inspection. During the primary immigration interview, a Border Patrol K-9 alerted to an odor coming from the trailer it is trained to detect. The agents referred the driver, a U.S. citizen, to a secondary inspection area, according to information obtained from Laredo Sector Border Patrol officials.

In the secondary area, agents unlocked the trailer and found 100 people trapped inside with no means of escape in the event of a crash or abandonment by the human smugglers. Agents reported the temperature inside the trailer was 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

The agents removed the migrants from the trailer, noting they wore no protective equipment to prevent the possible spread of the coronavirus. A medical screening determined none of the migrants required immediate medical attention.

During an immigration interview, the agents identified the 100 migrants as having been smuggled into the U.S. from Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico, officials reported. The agents placed the 100 people under arrest for immigration violations. They will be processed under Title 42 coronavirus protection protocols put in place by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

They also arrested the U.S. citizen driver of the tractor-trailer. During processing, the agents learned the driver has an “extensive criminal history,” officials reported. They also learned the tractor-trailer had been reported stolen. Webb County Sheriff’s Office deputies took possession of the vehicle and trailer.

“This is yet another incident that is indicative of the criminal element involved in the smuggling of people into the country for profit,” Laredo Sector officials said in a written statement. “They have no regard for the safety of the people they exploit while also endangering our agents and communities.”
Laredo Sector Chief Patrol Agent Matthew Hudak added, “We continue to see dangerous tactics being used by smugglers, including packing 100 people into a tractor-trailer. As COVID-19 remains a threat to our agents, our healthcare workers, and the public, smugglers continue to knowingly irresponsibly put everyone at risk in order to make a profit.”

A Mexican drug lord wanted for ordering the assassination of a man in the Dallas suburb of Southlake was added to the FBI’s Most Wanted list. Federal authorities are offering up to $1 million for information leading to the arrest of the man who continues to operate in Mexico and is responsible for violent executions in Nuevo Leon.

The FBI announced the addition of Jose Rodolfo Villarreal Hernandez to the Top 10 Most Wanted fugitives and offers up to $1 million for information leading to his capture.

Known as “El Gato,” Villarreal Hernandez is wanted for the 2013 murder of Gulf Cartel attorney-turned-informant Jesus Guerrero Chapa. Guerrero Chapa was living in Southlake when gunmen murdered him after a surveillance operation. Villarreal had a personal vendetta against Guerrero Chapa, who he blamed for the murder of his father. While federal authorities have arrested and convicted three men in connection with the case, El Gato remains at large.

In 2018, Breitbart Texas published the first known image of El Gato. Once a top commander with Beltran Leyva Cartel, El Gato branched off and established his own organization in the ritzy suburb of San Pedro in the Monterrey metropolitan area. During his exit, Villarreal managed to kill several old associates and bosses to gain operational independence. In addition to drug trafficking, El Gato also oversees money laundering ventures and extortion rackets.

Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents rescued four shivering children left alone on the north bank of the river separating Texas and Mexico. Agents located the children walking on the riverbank after being picked up on video surveillance equipment.

Brownsville Station Border Patrol agents received information about four small children walking alone on the Texas side of the Rio Grande. An agent operating electronic surveillance equipment first noticed the children and passed the info along to agents patrolling the border river, according to information obtained from Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol officials. Shortly after observing the children, the Remote Video Surveillance System operator witnessed a raft moving across the river to Mexico.

Agents arrived on the scene and found the four young children walking along the levee. Agents said the children were wet and shivering.

The agents quickly placed the four children in a vehicle and turned up the heater. They then transported the abandoned children to the station for processing and medical screening.

Agents report the children were two sets of siblings. They identified the children as Honduran and Salvadoran nationals — ages seven, six, four, and four, officials reported.

Officials said the four children had names and U.S. phone numbers written on their clothing. Agents put the children in dry, warm clothes and turned them over to medical staff for evaluation.

One day earlier, Fort Brown Station Border Patrol agents found a three-year-old girl from Honduras in the care of a Venezuelan woman who had just illegally crossed the border, officials stated. The woman told the agents the child was not hers and that human smugglers instructed her to take the child with her into the United States.

The Venezuelan illegal alien said she had no clue about the child’s identity. “The woman added the only reason she complied with the smugglers’ instructions was she felt it was in the best interest and safety of the child,” officials stated.

Officials found a Honduran birth certificate on the child and a name and phone number on the child’s shirt.

Officials did not report what will be done with the five children.

U.S. Identifies Mexico’s Former Defense Secretary as Cartel Godfather

U.S. federal prosecutors accuse Mexico’s former secretary of defense and some of his top aides of working with drug traffickers for years. The allegations followed the highly publicized arrest in California by U.S. federal agents and the subsequent court appearance of the former general. Prosecutors unsealed a five-count indictment against him.

Salvador Cienfuegos, a career Mexican Army General who served as Mexico’s secretary of defense under former President Enrique Pena Nieto, was known in the criminal underworld as “El Padrino” or The Godfather. He is charged with being a close ally of a faction of the Beltran Leyva Cartel known as H-2 — named after their late leader Juan Francisco Patron. As Breitbart Texas reported, federal authorities arrested Cienfuegos in California. A U.S. District Judge in New York unsealed the criminal indictment against him and additional information related to the case.

According to documents submitted by prosecutors, Cienfuegos allowed his associates with the Beltran Leyva Cartel (H-2) to operate with impunity in Mexico as they moved ton-quantities of cocaine and other drugs into U.S. cities. That criminal organization operated cells in Nevada, Ohio, Minnesota, North Carolina, and New York. In exchange for cartel bribes, Cienfuegos would keep the Mexican military from carrying out actions against his allies including helping them move into new territories such as Mazatlán, Sinaloa. He also allegedly targeted actions against his rivals. The allegations also claim that the former top military official leaked sensitive U.S. law enforcement information to his allies and introduced top leaders to other corrupt officials.

Migrant Apprehensions at Border Jump 16 Percent in September

The apprehension of migrants who illegally cross the border between ports of entry jumped again. The nearly 55,000 migrants arrested in September marks the fifth-straight month of increased apprehensions. However, apprehensions for the year fell by 53 percent from the previous year’s total.

U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended 54,771 migrants in September who illegally crossed the border between ports of entry, according to the FY202o year-end Southwest Border Migration Report released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials on Wednesday. This represents an increase of nearly 16 percent from the previous month and a 238 percent increase from the year’s low point in March.

Overall, Border Patrol agents arrested 400,651 migrants during all of FY2020 which ended on September 30. While this is down from the FY2019 apprehension total of 851,508, it still places the arrest numbers in the ballpark of FY15–FY18.

CBP Acting Commissioner Mark Morgan said the decrease in numbers from FY19 is due in large part to plans and programs put in place by the Trump Administrations. These programs include the building on 360 miles of new border wall systems and programs put in place with Mexico and the Northern Triangle countries of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.

Before the pandemic, the Migrant Protection Protocol (MPP) put in place by the Trump Administration and Mexico’s creation of a National Guard to focus on illegal immigration contributed to apprehension numbers falling from a high of 92,833 in March 2019 to 29,205 in January 2020 — a decrease of nearly 70 percent.

Morgan said the mission of Border Patrol shifted from border security as a law enforcement perspective to a public health perspective. Under Title 42 Coronavirus protection protocols put in place by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), approximately 90 percent of migrants apprehended between ports of entry are returned to Mexico or Canada (depending on crossing point) within two hours.

Morgan also said the demographics of the migrants changed once the Catch and Release programs ended. He cited a shift from mostly family units illegally crossing the border (primarily from Norther Triangle countries) to what is now mostly single adults (primarily from Mexico).

Of the more than 400,000 migrants apprehended by Border Patrol in FY20, 317,864 were single adults, the CBP report indicates.

“Single adult males from Mexico accounted for 56 percent of migrants encountered this year, a significant change from FY19, when 64 percent of the encounters were individuals from the Northern Triangle countries,” CBP officials said in a written statement. “Overall, single adults accounted for 77 percent of the total encounters this year, compared to 38 percent last year.”

Morgan said the primary driver of these migrants is the struggling economies of Mexico and the Northern Triangle countries, due in part to the pandemic.

Exclusive Video: Migrants Raft Across Texas Border River in Daylight

During the first week of October, Breitbart Texas cameras returned to Roma, Texas, to see how human smuggling changed since Fiscal Year 2019, when almost a million migrants were apprehended crossing the border between ports of entry. At this time, they sought out law enforcement–not make efforts to elude them.

The most significant shift in human smuggling occurred as a result of national policy changes from the Trump Administration in implementing the Migration Protection Protocols (MPP Program).

The MPP allows for foreign individuals entering or seeking admission to the U.S. – illegally or without proper documentation – to be returned to Mexico and wait for the duration of their immigration proceedings.

Border Patrol agents told Breitbart Texas that people crossing illegally today are mostly Mexican citizens, as opposed to the overwhelming number of Central Americans seen in FY2019. During the visit, Breitbart Texas cameras captured many illegal crossings between the ports of entry from the Roma Bluffs.

CBP agents were observed working closely together from the Office of Field Operations (OFO) and Border Patrol between the ports of entry, going from one part of Roma to the other especially during the morning hours of a shift change. It was obvious that human smuggling organizations in Mexico are aware when CBP personnel turnover because those periods were the busiest in terms of river traffic.

In 3 hours, Breitbart Texas documented 16 separate smuggling incidents. Rafts could be seen ferrying people to what is known as the Small Island — an international point in the middle of the river.

From there, some would walk the final, shallow stretch but others could be seen ferried via small rafts to U.S. soil. This area is called Salinas Crossing.

Within minutes, the smugglers would be observed walking back to the island and getting more people to cross. This went on for several morning until halting that afternoon.

The map indicates smuggling activity spots.

During this period, the Rio Grande City CBP Station reported 128 migrant apprehensions, 54 turn-backs, and 14 escaping into Texas.

Graphic: Narco-Rapper Killed in Mexican Border City Cartel Turf War

REYNOSA, Tamaulipas – A musician who earned a name in underground music circles for singing about local violence died in what appears to be part of a turf war between factions of the Gulf Cartel.

Over the weekend, authorities in Tamaulipas discovered the bodies of 33- year-old rapper Mauro Emmanuel “Blunt” Vasquez Yanez and of 27-year-old Rodbell Joel Martinez inside a house in the Rodriguez neighborhood.

Information provided to Breitbart Texas by law enforcement sources revealed that both men were tortured.

Vasquez Yanez was stabbed with a knife and had his throat slit, while Martinez was shot. While no arrests have been made in the case, authorities suspect the murders are connected to the turf war for control of Reynosa and lucrative drug smuggling routes.

The faction known as “Los Metros” is trying to keep their Matamoros rivals from taking the city. This struggle has led to hundreds of murders, shootouts, and kidnappings with no end in sight.

Blunt was part of a narco-rap group known as Cano & Blunt that gained local fame in the late 2000s for singing about the Gulf Cartel. The songs never went mainstream, but were widely circulated on YouTube, self-produced CDs sold on street corners, and eventually Spotify. Some music insiders consider Cano & Blunt to be the creators of the narco-rap genre.

The group’s first hit, “Reynosa La Maldosa,” dealt with the dangers of growing up in the dangerous streets of Reynosa and the power of organized crime. Soon after, they dedicated songs to the late cartel boss Samuel “Metro3” Flores Borrego.

Editor’s Note: Breitbart Texas traveled to the Mexican States of Tamaulipas, Coahuila, and Nuevo León to recruit citizen journalists willing to risk their lives and expose the cartels silencing their communities.  The writers would face certain death at the hands of the various cartels that operate in those areas including the Gulf Cartel and Los Zetas if a pseudonym were not used. Breitbart Texas’ Cartel Chronicles are published in both English and in their original Spanish. VIDEO: Arizona Teen Reacts to Cartel Carjacking in Mexico

An Arizona family traveling to their beach house in Mexico captured the reaction of their teen daughter on video as they are forced at gunpoint to get out their vehicle by a group of cartel gunmen.

The cartel carjacking took place this week along the highway that connects Caborca with Puerto Penazco (Rocky Point) in the border state of Sonora — just south of Arizona. The state of Sonora is considered by the U.S. Department of State as a key location used by “the international drug trade and human smuggling organizations” (cartels). While riding in their Toyota Tundra, the Davis family towed three ATVs and a mountain bike on their way to their beach house as the carjacking began. According to a social media post by Natalie Lines Davis, their teenage daughter was on social media and the camera recorded her reaction.

In an interview with a local TV station in Arizona, Mason Davis claimed to have traveled to and from Mexico and never felt afraid before. However, during their most recent trip, a gray sedan pulled up next to them and a man pointed a machine gun at them forcing them to stop. He ordered the family out of their vehicle. According to Davis, he did not put up any resistance and gave them the vehicle. The gunmen also took their bags and other belongings leaving them stranded on the side of the road. A motorist who passed by soon after helped them and took them to Mexican authorities who contacted the nearest U.S. consulate.

Despite the many assurances made by Mexico’s government, the U.S. State Department warns tourists to reconsider travel to that area due to crime in their current travel advisory for Mexico.

Donald Trump Sidelines Immigration Economics in 2020 Campaign

Donald Trump’s populist immigration agenda was central to his 2016 triumph — but he has not focused on the economic impact of immigration in his 2020 reelection bid despite the huge economic damage it is doing to blue-collar and white-collar Americans, say immigration activists.

Instead, Trump in 2020 portrays immigration via social-issue concerns over crime, welfare spending, border integrity, and the federal government’s inability to get things done. For example, Trump’s August 28 acceptance speech downplayed the money:

Today America’s borders are more secure than ever before.

We ended catch and release, stopped asylum fraud, took down human traffickers who prey on women and children, and we have deported 20,000 gang members and 500,000 criminal aliens. We have already built 300 miles of border wall, and we are adding ten new miles every single week. The wall will soon be complete, and it is working beyond our wildest expectations.

“I don’t think he’s walking away from populism — he probably is convinced that he has done a huge amount,” said Rosemary Jenks, policy director at NumbersUSA. “He signed the executive orders [that blocked border migration]. He’s building the wall. … We have more [migrant] caravans trying to get to our border, but the Mexican government is stopping them, and that would not be happening in a [Joe] Biden administration.”

Ken Cuccinelli, the acting deputy at the Department of Homeland Security, is championing Trump’s 2020 campaign. “Immigration isn’t just about the rule of law; it is also about the opportunity for Americans to get jobs that otherwise go to other people — and this president has zeroed in on that problem,” Cuccinelli told Tucker Carlson October 22. “When COVID did hit and unemployment spiked, he also in June, as you’ll recall, stopped the entry of temporary foreign workers so Americans can get back to work in opening up job slots first.”

Yet the populist jobs-and-wages aspect of immigration is almost entirely absent from Trump’s 2020 campaign pitch, even in the critical swing states of Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

Many polls show that job competition is the populist sweet-spot angle in immigration politics.

Most Americans — of all colors and incomes — feel they should welcome migrants, even illegal migrants or corporate outsourcing workers. But the polls also show that lopsided majorities strongly prefer that jobs and wages go to Americans before companies are allowed to import and hire migrants.

In October, Rasmussen Reports posted polling data showing the public’s lopsided preference for higher wages over extra immigrants. The poll asked likely voters, “When businesses say they are having trouble finding Americans to take jobs in construction, manufacturing, hospitality, and other service work, what is generally best for the country?”

Sixty-four percent of likely voters said it would be “better for businesses to raise the pay and try harder to recruit non-working Americans even if it causes prices to rise.” Just 20 percent said it would be “better for the government to bring in new foreign workers to help keep business costs and prices down.”

The crosstabs show the 3:1 electoral power of immigration seen as a jobs issue: 55 percent of liberals support more foreign workers, and 73 percent of conservatives favor hiring Americans. Swing-voting “others” split 63 percent in favor of Americans and 19 percent in favor of foreign workers, in part because the pocketbook question complements the public’s widespread desire to be decent and fair towards racial minorities.

This populist focus is underlined by the coronavirus crash — and the Rasmussen poll also shows it is very popular among the many white-collar, middle-class, swing-voting men and women that Trump needs to win in 2020.

Trump is a businessman who understands how the supply of labor is related to wages.

He also knows that a politically useful share of voters really hates the H-1B outsourcing visa. In 2016, he promised to shrivel the H-1B program, and, finally, in late 2020, he announced strong— but legally vulnerable — rules to reduce the inflow of visa workers. He also staged an August press conference to show himself saving roughly 200 Americans’ jobs from H-1B outsourcing by the CEO of the Tennessee Valley Authority.

Partly because of Trump’s lower-immigration policies, household incomes rose by seven percent in 2019, aided by a 2.5 percent growth in median personal income. That growth has helped him win more support among younger Hispanics and African Americans and among his base of working-class white Americans. For example, Trump won strong applause at an October 13 rally in Pennsylvania when he said, “in 2017, I proudly signed a historic executive order, making it official government policy to buy American and hire American.”

But Trump the politician also knows that business groups, donors, and investors really want more of the immigrants and visa workers who provide them with cheap, compliant, stock-boosting labor. “In perhaps no area did the Washington special interests try harder to stop us than on my policy of pro-American immigration,” Trump said in his August 28 acceptance speech.

Trump’s 2020 reluctance to mention the money in immigration was underlined by his response in an exchange over amnesty during the October 22 presidential debate.

Trump talked about how his energy policy has helped raise wages for black and Latino Americans, how his tax policy has boosted Americans’ 401K accounts, how minimum wages should be tuned to each state’s economy. But Trump ignored the issue of wages when Joe Biden said Americans owe an amnesty to at least 11 million illegal migrants:

Biden: Many of them are model citizens. Over 20,000 of them are first responders out there taking care of people during this crisis. We owe them, we owe them

Trump: He had eight years to do what he said he was going to do and I’ve …. got rid of catch and release, we got rid of a lot of horrible things that they put in and that they lived with but he had eight years he was vice president … It just shows that he has no understanding of immigration or the laws. Catch and release is a disaster, a murderer would come in, a rapist would come in, a very bad person would come in. We would take their name, we have to release them into our country and then you say they come back. Less than 1 percent of the people come back.

At an October 15 town hall event, Trump was asked what he would do to help the roughly 700,000 younger illegals who got work permits from President Barack Obama’s 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) amnesty.

He repeated his support for the illegals. “We’re going to take care of ‘dreamers.’ It’s working right now; we’re negotiating different aspects of immigration and immigration law,” as he zig-zagged through his pro-migration and anti-migration worldview.

Trump zagged towards disease, crime, chaos, borders, and foreigners:

We’ve built now over 400 miles of border wall on the southern border. Mexico is working very closely with us. We have the strongest border we’ve ever had. … Mexico is heavily infected, as you know, and we’ve made it very, very difficult to come in because of the pandemic and other reasons, and crime. But we have a very strong border right now, and we have to keep it that way … The fact is we got rid of catch-and-release [at the border], which is a disaster. You know, if you catch somebody — they could be a murderer, they could be a rapist — I was forced to release them into our country. These are the laws that I inherite!. We ended that program.

Trump’s comments were a mirror-image of Democrats’ don’t-mention-the-money insistence that the U.S. is a nation of immigrants, that diversity is strength, and that equality is threatened by xenophobia and racism.

Yet Trump also zigged towards orderly, managed, clean, high-quality migration:

We want people to come into our country. They have to come in legally, but we are working very hard on the DACA program. And you will be — I think — very happy over the course of the next year because I feel the same way as you do. … But we want people to come into our country. But they have to come through a merit system, and they have to come in legally, and people are very, very happy with it. You haven’t heard any complaints about that.

In reality, there are many loud complaints in many states about the damage done by white-collar “merit” migration, said Kevin Lynn, founder of U.S. Tech Workers. “Everyone knows what is going with immigration — the good, the bad, and the ugly,” said Lynn.

“The large-scale importation of these routine [H-1B] tech workers has a harmful effect on American workers, and the president is not alone in not appreciating that,” said Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration Studies. “This is one area of immigration where the president’s views are completely consistent with those of the swamp.”

“The president thinks that white-collar immigration is perfectly okay and nobody he knows is against it, even though he’s got supporters who are concerned about it. He only talks about it in very narrow contexts. [For example], he imagines that the H-1B replacement of American workers is some kind of aberration that doesn’t need to happen if everybody follows the rules, when in fact that’s not the case. … He sees the issue of the TVA [in 2020] and the Disney tech workers [in 2016] as special cases, as mistakes, as exceptions to a positive phenomenon rather than examples of a real problem.”

“The president is not an immigration restrictionist,” Krikorian said. “I don’t think this is a casual thing that he doesn’t care about and can be easily swayed out of. I think that he has internalized the lobbyists’ malarkey that [immigration and visa workers are] necessary for American economic growth and progress. I am skeptical that anything is going to talk him out of it, as if somebody from Goldman Sachs had called him up and say, ‘Hey Donnie, this is what we’re going to do.’”

For the political and corporate elites who mix with Trump, “it is [a belief that] is just in the air, just an assumption that they all share; it is part of the zeitgeist, not some specific policy recommendation that they’re demanding that he follow,” Krikorian said.

Other observers offer a less charitable explanation for Trump’s mixture of visceral opposition to illegal, uncontrolled migration and his establishment-like acceptance of controlled migration.

Trump thinks many of his supporters oppose migration for racial reasons, says author and reporter Salena Zito. “Voters don’t hold the racial resentments and fears Trump seems to think they do … [but] Trump seems to think his base is racist. Forget the fact that the media thinks they are, Trump campaigns as if they are,” she wrote in 2018.

“Despite mocking academia and the media as biased, the president seems to have fully bought into their [racist] caricature of the Republican voter,” said Musa al-Gharbi, a non-progressive professor at Columbia University. “He keeps giving his voters what he thinks is red meat, and [middle-class whites] continue to recoil in horror and abandon him for it.”

“Trump campaigns like a Manhattan liberal[‘s] parody of a conservative,” said Jane Coaston, a reporter at Vox.com.

A similar view is pushed by Todd Schulte, the director of FWD.us, a pro-migration advocacy group funded by wealthy, West Coast investors, “I’ve spent a few years saying this, but there is just near-constant and overwhelming evidence that his signature issue of 2016–anti-immigrant demagoguery—has been a huge drag for 3 years,” Schulte tweeted October 11. Schulte declined to comment about the political power of an immigration message focused on jobs and wages.

Other administration appointees are trying to keep immigration economics out of the 2020 race — especially any criticism of white-collar migration via the J-1, H-1B, OPT, L-1 worker pipelines that keep at least 1.3 million cheap and compliant foreign workers in U.S. Fortune 500 jobs. This quiet group wants to build a high-low coalition of billionaires and blue-collars, so it keeps Trump far from polling data or the policy options that would guide him to win more votes from blue-collar minorities and white-collar suburbanites voters, reformers tell Breitbart News.

And the establishment media does little or nothing to show Americans the economic impact of immigration, said Lynn. “There is no pressure being brought on Trump to look at broader immigration issues,” he said.

“The media listen to the corporations that buy their advertising,” Lynn said. “The reporters know what will and what won’t get published. It is only the stray article that speaks to the economic impact of unbridled immigration, to the impact of displacing native workers because of the non-immigration visa programs.” Instead, the vast majority of media coverage is about migrants’ and employers’ interests, not about Americans seeking jobs and wages.

Without public pressure, “events are pretty much on autopilot, which means more immigration and more displacement of Americans and more offshoring [of jobs].”

Trump’s reluctance to focus on economics is pressuring reformers to make alternative appeals.

For now, reformers — aided by a growing number of activist white-collar professionals — are assembling the evidence to show the variety of damage caused by the visa-worker pipelines.

These pipelines undermine U.S. innovation, threaten Americans’ economic and healthcare privacy, cause workplace discriminationfatten coastal states, impoverish inland states, distort university enrollment, shrink the domestic supply of skilled labor, expand illegal immigration, displace American healthcare graduates, create new labor markets where Americans cannot get jobs, threaten free speech online, and deny vital opportunities to young American graduates of all backgrounds and colors.

Yet Trump can be persuaded to focus on the economic impact of migration on Americans because he “responds to what he feels pressure on,” said Lynn. For example, Trump improved his NAFTA-replacement deal with Mexico and Canada when left-of-center unions pressured him, he said.

After a careful online ad campaign that spotlighted the huge salary paid to the Tennessee Valley Authority’s CEO, Trump also intervened to save 200 Americans’ jobs in one tiny corner of the vast 600,000-job H-1B outsourcing program. He touted that paycheck-politics success in his White House speech announcing his acceptance of the GOP nomination:

When I learned that the Tennessee Valley Authority laid off [200] hundreds of American workers and forced them to train their lower-paid foreign replacements, I promptly removed the chairman of the board, and now those talented American workers have been rehired and are back providing power to Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Virginia. They have their old jobs back, and some are here with us this evening.

“I think that they should be shouting that from the rafters,” said Lynn. “But, they’re not.”

If Trump touts the immigration-economics policies that avoid racial conflicts and help blue-collar and white-collar employees, Lynn said, “he could own labor … [and] he would win this election handily.”
