For millions of Americans, the so-called golden years will actually be years of despair and uncertainty. And it’s very likely that you are one of those that will never be able to stop working and finally retire. But you’re not alone in this. Over 90 percent of working households in the U.S. do not meet retirement savings targets for their age and income. In fact, even the people that did absolutely everything right throughout their working years are still at risk of seeing their savings vanish as financial markets experience the worst downturn since the Great Recession, interest rates soar, and record inflation means the value of their money is steadily dropping.
New data shows that the country’s unfolding retirement crisis just took a massive turn for the worse. Crippling stock market losses, cracks in the U.S. pension system, and the growing Social Security deficit are all combining to create increasingly harder conditions for workers to save for retirement and maintain their living standards at retirement age. In other words, the promises that were made for all of us that we would be rewarded for the efforts we made during our years of hard work with financial security were actually a lie. In today’s America, the only options given to the vast majority of workers are: either work until you die or brace for poverty.
According to the National Institute on Retirement Security, even though employer-sponsored retirement plans are one of the most important methods of saving for retirement, 50% of private sector workers in the U.S. don’t have access to pension or 401(k) plans, and about 40% of the population has zero savings for retirement. And the vast majority of those who do have 401(k) plans do not have a solid financial cushion to fall back on. IRA data reveals that some 92% of working households do not meet retirement savings targets for their age and income. Even when counting their entire net worth, 65% still falls short.
More worryingly, 1 in 5 baby boomers that are now reaching retirement age have less than $5,000 in retirement savings - and they’ll need about 240 times that amount to be able to retire and keep pace with the rising cost of living and soaring health care costs, as noted by financial analysts at research firm Ramsey Solutions. No wonder why a third of seniors say they either plan to work through the age of 70 or never retire, according to a study by BlackRock.
The U.S. retirement system was structured so that retirees could count on three sources of income: Social Security, pension benefits, and personal savings, the expert explains. But many people expect Social Security retirement benefits to fund a portion or all of their retirement. The reality is that the program is now facing a 75-year deficit, and in theory, it was never intended to fully support workers in retirement even though 44% of retirees say it is their primary source of income, according to a survey by the Employee Benefits Research Institute.
Those resources are being depleted right now, and by 2033 the government benefits program will be only three-quarters financed, which means that we have a little more than ten years before this crisis hits its peak. And the biggest problem isn’t that people don’t want to save — it’s that they don’t have any money to put toward retirement.
Things weren't supposed to be like this. Our population developed under the implicit social contract that if you worked hard for a company, you'd be rewarded with financial security in retirement. Of course, there were always gaps in the retirement system. But today, the social contract is on shakier ground than ever, many experts say. This crisis is going to be absolutely devastating for our society. Retirement is considered the final chapter of the American dream. But it's clear that the dream of the “golden years” is quickly turning into a fairy tale for our hard-working population.

Carlson: Rise in Crime by Design — ‘An Attempt’ to Destroy the American Middle Class
Monday on FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson the increase in crime, especially in urban Democrat areas, was intentional during his show’s opening monologue.
According to the Fox News Channel host, the anticipated outcome from such policies was to “destroy” the middle class.

CARLSON: The good news stories just keep coming. Here is one of them.
So, when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade this past June — you remember this — Democrats howled in outrage. For weeks, every hour on MSNBC sounded like a plot summary from “The Handmaid’s Tale.” “Theocracy rising. They’ll be burning witches.”
Liberals seemed genuinely upset and probably most were, but on some level, not very deep beneath the surface, the people who run the Democratic Party weren’t upset at all. They were thrilled.
Here finally was an issue for them to run on in the Midterm Elections. It was an issue perfectly suited to a party that had nothing else to talk about. Are they going to brag about Joe Biden? I don’t think so. So, it was going to be abortion. They’re going to take your abortions away. That was the Democratic message for the midterm elections, the ones that are coming up in just a few days, but there was a problem with the messaging.
So, COVID had just ended and people, not being entirely stupid, still remember that this very same Democratic Party, the same people, had forced the entire population to wear paper masks like children and then to take the shot as a condition of going outside.
So, women have the right to control their own bodies? They used to tell us that, and then they fired thousands of nurses for refusing to submit to an experimental vaccine.
So, the phrase “My Body, My Choice” had been, as we say in the news business, “overtaken by events.”
Clearly, Democrats needed a new slogan, a new way to talk about abortion. Unfortunately, nobody could think of one. “Your body, my choice?” No, that wouldn’t work. It was too real. So, in the end, liberals just dusted off the same old talking points and pretended like COVID never happened. Watch.

You’ve got a media narrative that says that women don’t really care about abortion, like women don’t really mind if the States control their bodies. They don’t care about that. They just care about the price of milk.

Abortion politics is a total fixation of Democratic donors. It’s the main thing they care about. Why is that, by the way? It’s a religion. It’s a child sacrifice cult, but not everyone else feels that way, even Democrats.
As “The Daily Caller” just reported, polls show that “Abortion is not a top priority for female voters.” In fact, “Most women support abortion limits that would have been considered unconstitutional under the Roe v. Wade precedent.”
Oh. So, it looks like yelling about abortion is definitely not going to be enough to keep Democrats in control of the Congress. Are you surprised by that? No, of course not. You live here.
So, how did the highly-paid and admittedly pretty smart strategists who figure out what the issues are in the Democratic Party so misjudged this one?
Well, they did what a lot of us do. They forgot that not everyone is like them. Not everyone in America is as miserable as they are. In fact, there are still plenty of people in this country, believe it or not, who have happy marriages.
There are still people who love their kids and their grandchildren, still people who consider baby as a blessing, not just an obstacle to better vacation.
Now, some of those people, maybe a lot of those people, might still consider themselves “pro-choice,” but they’re hardly pro-abortion. They don’t think abortion is a positive good. It’s not. They don’t consider it liberation. and they definitely don’t see abortion, as Janet Yellen recently claimed, as the answer to our national economic problems. She said that.
So here is how it works: Janet Yellen gets rich giving speeches to the companies she regulates. That’s corruption, but she is never charged. She’s still free. In fact, she’s the Treasury Secretary. And you? You get poorer, but we have a solution, you just need to have more abortions. That’s what she said. That’s the message they’re selling and maybe not surprisingly, it doesn’t work. That’s not what voters want.
So, what do voters want? What do they care about?
Well, if you look at the polls, they care about exactly what you’d expect them to care about, which is the quality of their own lives. So, they care about the economy and they care about crime. This is very obvious. You don’t even need to look at polling to know it, but every poll shows it with maximum clarity.
So, how did the media respond to this? Well, of course, doing their job. They’ve done everything possible to minimize both issues, the economy and crime.
They’ve told us the economy is not in a recession. No, it’s not. When, of course, by every measure, it is very much in a recession. And on crime, they’ve told you, don’t even talk about it. Only racists worry about crime. Racist. The one thing you don’t want to be called.
So, how should Republicans respond to that? Well, we have video evidence. Here’s Kari Lake, who’s running for Governor in Arizona, deftly swatting away a reporter’s claim that somehow people of color like crime. Watch this.

LAKE: Which surveys? I’m happy to look at those stats because I will tell you this, that I talk to people of color. I talk to all Arizonans. They’re all concerned about the crime.
Just because their skin isn’t the same color as yours, doesn’t mean you want your kids to be walking down the street in an unsafe neighborhood. Every Arizonan wants safety and security in their neighborhood. It doesn’t matter what your skin color is.
And if you look at stats, you will look and see that police do not target people of color. That is a lie that’s been perpetuated by the left and then spread and disseminated and spread in the media. Check the stats.

The reporter says, “Well, people of color are concerned about your crime policies,” because, of course, being a white liberal, all white liberals know, if they know one thing, that they have a right to speak for “people of color,” not to people of color, something they really do, but for, on behalf of people of color.
Kari Lake just stops him right there. Really, what people of color have you talked to? “Uh.”
All Republicans running for office should watch that video.
But in the end, you don’t need to convince people that crime is real because they live here, too. Crime is everywhere.
In New York, crime on public transit is up more than 40%, and not just pickpocketing. Now, this video that we’re about to show you is not an aberration necessarily. It just so happens this was caught on tape, but this is exactly the reason that people are afraid to ride the Subway.
This weekend, a man was pushed onto the tracks. You can guess the motive actually from watching this video, but we know with no warning whatsoever. Here it is.

In this video, you can see the guy in the yellow hoodie shove him right onto the Subway tracks. He zeroed in on the innocent commuter and then charged right at him.
Martin ended up in the hospital, just grateful to be alive.

CARLSON: Oh, this random attack. There are a lot of random attacks on the Internet you may have noticed. Are they random? Really?
The person who did that is not being sought as a hate criminal. You wonder why.
But the point is, those kinds of attacks didn’t used to happen. Now, they are commonplace enough that you may no longer be shocked by them, but if you live there, you stay off the Subway as a result.
Crime in Philadelphia is completely out of control. For example, last year, Philadelphia recorded 562 murders. That is the highest homicide total since 1960. That happens to be the year the city started tracking homicide data.
This year in Philadelphia, crimes like robbery with a gun are up 47%. Now, why is this happening? It’s not an accident. None of this is an accident. Crime is rising as a direct result of policies designed to make crime rise and at the same time, any effort by normal people, middle class people, to defend themselves is immediately met with the full ferocity of the State.
So, this is an attempt, of course, to destroy the American middle class. Let’s just be honest about it.
This is crime with a purpose. They don’t want to have this conversation, the people who did this, and that’s why they attack you personally and morally if you bring it up.
So, in Philadelphia, a lot of these crimes can be traced to one man, Soros- backed DA Larry Krasner. He has decided not to charge many robbers with crimes. Arrests and charges for retail theft in Philadelphia have dropped by about 70% over the past four years. In that same period, reports of robberies jumped more than 20%. You see how this works?
If you stop charging people with certain crimes, they commit more of them. That seems like an obvious observation and again, it is more evidence this is not an accident. Larry Krasner is not an idiot. None of these people are stupid. They’re doing this on purpose.
They’re trying to destroy, and why are they doing that? Well, we can’t guess as to the motive, but they’re definitely doing it.
So, when asked about this, how does Larry Krasner respond? Shut up. Racist. Watch.

LARRY KRASNER (D), PHILADELPHIA DISTRICT ATTORNEY: We’re just looking at Philly right now in a superheated election cycle where part of the Republican playbook, as you well know, is to point a finger at large diverse cities and say large, diverse cities are lawless.
What we see here is the same old playbook, which is about coded and racist messaging. It’s about blaming the biggest city in Pennsylvania with the most diverse population for having the same national struggle that we have with gun violence everywhere.
So, here you have another white liberal deputizing himself to speak for people of color against his political opponents. Have you figured out how this works? Are you getting tired of it yet?

Bill O’Reilly has reached a conclusion that has probably occurred to many people recently, namely that although Joe Biden always represented himself as a moderate regular guy with blue-collar sensibilities from Scranton, he “fooled a lot of folks, including me.” For, O’Reilly observes, Biden has recently been full of praise for extremists, saying that he agrees with everything Rep. Maxine Waters says, which includes, after the George Floyd killing, justifying violence and praising “one of the biggest haters on television,” Joy Behar.
Although I certainly understand O’Reilly’s reasoning, I must disagree. My view is that the situation is far worse than he envisages. O’Reilly’s mistake is that he is attempting to understand Joe Biden as if he is a normal person pretty much like the rest of us. The reasoning goes like this: If an ordinary person like the rest of us were to do a sudden political about-face like Biden has done, it would probably be because he had been fooling people all along and is finally showing his true face.
This is, however, a mistake. One must never forget that most politicians are not like ordinary people. Most of us are such that if we told a big public lie, for example, that we had finished in the top half our law school class when we had actually finished in bottom 11% of the class, or that we had been arrested protesting for civil rights with Nelson Mandela when we had not, or that Mitt Romney had not paid any taxes for the past decade when we knew he paid taxes, or that one’s political opponent had colluded with Russia in order to steal the 2016 presidential election when we knew that is false, or say under oath that the southern border is secure when everybody knows it is not, we would, once we had been exposed, be ashamed and have difficulty showing our faces in public for a long time. Similarly, most of us would feel deeply ashamed if we enacted policies that led to 800+ deaths at the southern border ... and so on.
In fact, many politicians feel no shame whatsoever when they are exposed for telling big lies or perpetrating destructive hoaxes or enacting deadly policies. The immediate reaction of most politicians when their enormous lies, hoaxes, and body-counts are exposed is to start plotting how to get away with it. That is, most politicians are concerned with securing their own wealth and power, in Joe’s case, being “the Big Guy,” truth never even being in the mix.
My diagnosis of Joe Biden’s sudden lurch to the far left is that Joe pretty much never believed in much at all. He said what he said and did what he did to secure his grip on power. For most of his career, that meant representing himself as a moderate, good old likeable “lunch pail” Joe. Thus, when President Obama needed an alleged moderate grinning white male vice president to reassure the voters about himself, Biden was more than willing to be the useful prop. However, when, as a consequence of the Democrat determination to get rid of their mortal threat, Donald Trump, “by any means necessary,” power brokers in the Democrat party offered Biden a deal -- that they would grant his lifelong dream and install him in the presidency by representing him as good old moderate Joe but only on condition that he agree to implement their entire far-left agenda if elected. Biden did not hesitate to agree. He did not think about the country. He thought about his favourite subject matter: Himself. Similarly, when he thought about choosing a running mate, he did not think about the country. He thought about himself and picked a VP candidate based, not on actual ability but upon his agreements with the far-left power-brokers of his Party.
That is, it is not that Biden was actually far-left all along but that he was, like very many politicians, hollow all along. He was whatever kept him in wealth and power, a professional “shape-shifter.” When, therefore, he was offered the opportunity to be installed in the presidency, he immediately agreed to let the Party powerbrokers pour their irresponsible far-left positions into his lucrative practiced nihilism.
I do believe there are politicians on both sides of the aisle who are not completely hollow. My own view, which does not necessarily imply agreement with all their views, but only appreciation for their authenticity, is that Ronald Reagan, Joe Lieberman and Dennis Kucinich were all pretty real. They actually tell one what they really think. Others might pick different examples, but that is not important here.
It is also important to point out that this does not mean that some politicians do not start out as ordinary people who would be ashamed to tell such transparent lies but, after living in D.C, for many years surrounded by sycophants, being told how great they are, learning that unlike the average decent guy down the street they can pretty much get away with anything, get as many women, or men, as they want, grab as many millions of dollars as they want, etc., many people cave to the constant temptations. Indeed, many actual honorable ordinary Americans might well, if they were thrust into the D.C. swamp for long enough, succumb as well.
It cannot be overemphasized how dangerous such hollow people are when they get into positions of power. For example, if O’Reilly’s hypothetical disguised far-leftist gets into power they are, at least, still constrained by their far-left principles. That may not be much but it is something. However, when these hollow people manage to get into the highest positions in the country, positions that, in ordinary circumstances they would never, because of their transparent insipidness, be able to secure, the danger is incalculable. For, since they actually believe in nothing except their personal power, they are ready instruments for unscrupulous forces that will manipulate them into selling out America. Indeed, if the United States is ever to end, this will likely be the way it happens, in what could be called a kind of suicide.
The situation is much worse than O’Reilly envisages. Never make the mistake of thinking that politicians are like yourself or that good-old moderate blue-collar guy down the street who carries a lunch pail. Very few of them are. Many of them are extreme narcissists. Some literally have psychopathic characteristics. Some are completely hollow people easily molded by deluded or malevolent forces. Such hollow people can, therefore, do tremendous damage to the country in a very short time. For example, if, looking at the polls leading up to 2024, Joe concludes that he needs to do a 180-degree U-turn again and vehemently oppose abortion in order to get re-elected, as he used to do before he sold out to his far-left base, he may even rediscover his deeply felt Catholic faith again for a short time.
A massive Republican victory in the 2022 midterm elections is imperative in stopping the disastrous policies of the Marxist left. However, far more important and potentially more enduring than a temporary victory by the Republican Party, is that this election can be the American citizenry’s opening salvo in the permanent repudiation and marginalization of the American Elites or ruling class. They are a clique that has betrayed and broken faith with the American people through their mindless infatuation with Barack Obama and near-psychotic obsession with defeating Donald Trump.
The elites can be loosely defined as those in the small minority of wealth, power, and prestige who have influence or control over the structures and institutions that govern a nation and stage-manage its culture and society.
This cabal can be further defined within three categories based on who they are:
The political or governing elites: those who take an active or influential role in the administration of political power whether through government or various non-government institutions such as universities and the corporate media.
The economic elites: those who are the wealthiest Americans by income and net worth, many of whom oftentimes use their wealth to influence or abet government and manipulate society.
The cultural elites: those that have an over-sized influence through their social standing and prestige emanating from the entertainment complex, sports or media, many of whom frequently use that status to shape and affect the culture.
Over the past 14 years the bulk of the American people have been forcibly awakened to the breathtaking level of narcissism, obliviousness, and megalomania of this ostensibly well-educated and influential cabal (who are overwhelmingly members of the Democrat party) but who are also scattered throughout the Republican Party hierarchy.
In 2008, because of his skin color and ability to deliver a speech, the American elites embraced a juvenile infatuation with Barack Obama and unabashedly catapulted him into the presidency. While the elites mindlessly acquiesced, Obama mainstreamed American Marxism into government and society and facilitated the de facto takeover of the Democrat party by these same Marxists.
For eight years of Obama, the American people were exposed to overt denigration of America and its history as well as cultural disintegration, racism and racial animosity. For the last two years, Americans have endured the economic, foreign and societal disasters of a senescent Joe Biden, an Obama minion stage managed by Obama administration puppeteers like Susan Rice and Valerie Jarrett.
On the other hand, for four years the American people experienced the forthright pro-Americanism and overwhelming economic and foreign successes of Donald Trump.
This unavoidable comparison has caused a growing majority of the American people to finally begin to awaken from their 75-year slumber and decades of mal-education to realize who their antagonists are. It is not the few died-in-the-wool Marxists but the far larger number of gullible and spineless American Elites who are now intimidated by and acquiesce to the Marxists in order to maintain their status in American society.
There is little doubt that a major contributing factor to the ignorance and gullibility of much of the elite class can be traced back to a Marxist leaning education establishment that has been increasingly focused, for the past fifty years, on indoctrination and not education.
Concurrent with a precipitous drop in achievement in the core subjects of math, reading and science, curricula previously used for over a century in secondary and higher education, designed to foster appreciation of the Judeo-Christian basis of the nation’s founding as well as the development of reason and independent thinking by the students, were deliberately abandoned. Most notably at the nation’s colleges and universities. In their place was an emphasis on grotesquely revisionist American history, so-called self-esteem and its corollary, victimhood.
While this calamitous makeover of the education establishment is a major underlying factor in the growth of gullibility among the ostensibly well-educated, there are other dynamics at play as well.
Four generations of Americans have been born since this nation experienced a catastrophic national crisis and attendant hardships. Over those eighty years of unprecedented peace and prosperity, a mindset of “it could never happen here,” coupled with “the omnipotent entity known as government will take care of any problems” took root among the upper classes. This overall viewpoint essentially replaced a belief in God with a reliance on man and his institutions.
Thus, when combined with an inculcated inability to reason or generate an original thought, far too many have willingly accepted any inane pronouncement or machination proffered by the Marxists in the ruling class. Mindlessly believing and acting on these proclamations has revealed the herd mentality of the vacuous among the elitists.
In 2020, these same overwrought upper-class dupes were single-mindedly determined to oust supervillain Donald Trump by any means fair or foul. They, with premeditation, unconstitutionally and fraudulently changed election laws in numerous states, exploited mail-in ballots and ballot harvesting, and had thousands of “mules” stuff ballots in drop-off boxes. They, thus, succeeded in installing Joe Biden as president. However, thanks to their inability to reason and think independently, they gullibly believed that once Trump was removed from office America would return to their version of normal with a “moderate” Joe Biden they could control.
But that did not happen. The Marxists, through political blackmail, control and manipulate Joe Biden and his Administration. They dominate the dissemination of ideas through the universities and news through the corporate media. Further, the violent tactics of their militant arms, Antifa and Black Lives Matter, have been tacitly legitimized by the quiescence of the American Elites. Thus, they will never agree to any form of the liberalism that much of the current elites claim to espouse.
The Marxists cannot and will not acquiesce to any attempt at appeasement or compromise. The true believers in the media and the universities have confirmed this mindset, as the ostracization of Bari Weiss and James Bennet from The New York Times for being insufficiently obeisant to current Marxist dogma verifies. Media figures initially and foolishly seeking to accommodate and placate their Marxist colleagues rarely succeed. The examples of similar blacklisting of professors and academics who did not 100% toe the party line while seeking to appease their Marxist colleagues or students are legion.
The only way to defeat the Marxists is through an unarmed revolution that focuses on permanently marginalizing their abettors, the American Elites. The opening salvo of this revolution is to not vote for anyone running as a Democrat in 2022, regardless of the office. The second stage is to purge any elite-affiliated elected Republican over the next two years through the primary process while the America First Movement fully takes over the Republican Party and the Democrat party is left in shambles with no viable elitist or Marxist candidates.

Report: St. Louis School Attacker Had Rifle, Roughly 600 Rounds of Ammo
St. Louis school attacker Orlando Harris was armed with a rifle and approximately 600 rounds of ammunition when he entered Central Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) Monday morning and killed two people, according to authorities.
Breitbart News reported that police ended 19-year-old Harris’s attack minutes after it began, yet two people — a teacher and a female student — were killed in the attack.
Harris died from an exchange of gunfire with police.
Fox 3 Now noted that Harris was a 2021 graduate of CVPA, and KMOV 4 observed that he did not have a criminal history.
Harris’s car was found near the scene of the attack, and a note inside the car said, “I Don’t have any friends I don’t have any family, I’ve never had a girlfriend, I’ve never had a social life, I’ve been an isolated loner my entire life. This was the perfect storm for a mass shooting.”
Law enforcement went to Harris’s home after the attack and removed evidence:

Police: Florida Man Confesses to Fatally Attacking Cyclist with Tire Iron Due to ‘Ills of Society’
Police in Clearwater, Florida, arrested a suspect after a man was killed while cycling in the area on Friday.
Jermaine Adrian Bennett faces first-degree murder charges after reportedly confessing to attacking Jeffrey Chapman, 49, and beating him repeatedly with a tire iron, Fox 13 reported Saturday.
According to Clearwater Deputy Chief Michael Walek, the incident was random and Bennett allegedly told investigators he did it because the “ills of society had gotten to him.”
The department shared an image of Bennett and told followers it was looking for a second suspect in the case:
Investigators reportedly used surveillance video and tips to connect Bennett and his car to the incident.
The second suspect was described as a slender man standing approximately six feet and two inches tall and Walek urged that person to turn himself in to authorities.
It was unclear why the suspects were in the area before they eventually encountered the victim.
During a press conference on Friday, Walek told a reporter, “This is the northern portion of Clearwater Beach. Very quiet. Mostly residential. A crime like this is very rare, but we are using every investigative method that we have to follow up on this.”
A similar incident happened an hour before in St. Petersburg but the victim was not killed. Now, officials are trying to determine if there was a connection with both incidents.
Authorities are holding Bennett at the Pasco County Jail until his extradition to Pinellas County, the Fox article said.
“I don’t think anybody’s really processed it yet. You know, we’re still trying to process what happened because we don’t understand it. We don’t understand why. Why did this happen?” a friend of Chapman’s told the outlet:
“The ‘ills of society’ the police chief mentioned. I mean it wasn’t him. He wasn’t the ‘ills of society.’ Far from it. He was the opposite. He tried to help people,” she continued.
