AMERICAN CITIES IN CRIME MELTDOWN - THE DEMOCRAT PARTY'S DESTRUCTIVE PATH - Law Enforcement Calls Democrat Bob Casey’s Backing of Defund the Police Group ‘Alarming and Extremely Dangerous’

Law Enforcement Calls Democrat Bob Casey’s Backing of Defund the Police Group ‘Alarming and Extremely Dangerous’

Dave McCormick campaign

Law enforcement called the anti-police Pennsylvania Indivisible’s endorsement of Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) “alarming and extremely dangerous” on Wednesday.

Indivisible Pennsylvania hosted a campaign event with Casey on Tuesday, and the anti-police organization endorsed Casey in a statement on Wednesday.

Christine Adams of Indivisible Outcry in Clarion County said, “In his [Casey’s] nearly two decades in office, he has demonstrated his commitment to the values that guide the membership of Pennsylvania Indivisible — justice, inclusion, compassion, and equity. Senator Casey is deeply committed to defending our rights and our freedoms.”

In 2020, Indivisible Philadelphia was vehemently in favor of reducing funding for law enforcement in the Keystone State.

“We won’t stop until they #DefundThePolice,” the group wrote, calling for “fewer officers on the street” and even shared a piece calling for “abolishing the police.” Indivisible Philadelphia also called for followers to donate to the Philadelphia Bail Fund, which hopes to end “cash bail in Philadelphia.” Indivisible Philadelphia also has “Anti-Racism Resources for White People.”

“We meant moving away from the racist system of criminalization and penal punishment, and moving toward community-led public safety methods and programs,” the group continued.

Breitbart News’s Matthew Boyle reported on how the Indivisible network has become a prominent driver of the leftist move to remove former President Donald Trump from the ballot.

Casey has backed the anti-police organization at a time when crime across the Commonwealth has skyrocketed.

Philadelphia experienced its fourth transit shooting in just four days when eight “teens” shot at a Philadelphia bus stop. Pittsburgh Police Chief Larry Scirotto changed department policies so that officers will no longer be sent to certain emergency calls and the calls will redirect to the telephone unit.

This is why Chris Eiserman, Folcroft deputy police chief and Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge 27 president, and other members of the FOP Lodge spoke out against Indivisible Pennsylvania’s endorsement of Casey.

Eiserman explained:

This is a group [Indivisible] that said ‘we won’t stop until we defund the police.’ They have called for fewer officers on the street. They have advocated to end cash bail. This is a group that is responsible for bailing out some of the most violent offenders that Pennsylvania has to offer. At a time when there were four shootings in four days on our local public transit system, and law enforcement across the Commonwealth is understaffed, Casey’s decision to align himself with these Defund the Police activists is alarming and extremely dangerous. [Emphasis added]

Dave McCormick campaign

He continued:

Pennsylvanians deserve better. When there was a call to strip district attorneys [DAs] who failed to prosecute certain crimes, Casey backed the failed DAs instead of the people he’s supposed to serve.  We all know Larry Krasner’s progressive to letting criminals out of the street isn’t working and yet Bob Casey supports Soros-funded prosecutors in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, who have let crime get completely out of control.

“Thankfully, Pennsylvania has a law-and-order Senate candidate that will work with the police and not against us: Dave McCormick. Dave McCormick is a combat veteran, who takes threats to Pennsylvanians’ safety seriously,” he added.

Forty-seven sheriffs across the counties of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Perry, and York have endorsed McCormick’s bid for Senate.

Apple CEO Tim Cook, who is currently in Shanghai to open the company’s eighth store in the city, has been vocal about China’s critical role in Apple’s supply chain and the company’s commitment to investing in the country. Cook’s desperate PR campaign comes as the iPhone has lost the crown as best selling smartphone in the communist country.

Apple Insider reports that during his visit to Shanghai, Apple CEO Tim Cook has been promoting the company’s strong ties with China, emphasizing the nation’s importance to Apple’s supply chain and future growth. Cook is in the city for the grand opening of Apple Jing’an, the company’s eighth store in Shanghai, set to open its doors on Thursday.

In an interview with China Daily, Cook highlighted the significance of China to Apple, stating, “there’s no supply chain in the world that’s more critical to us than China.” Despite recent moves by some of Apple’s suppliers to diversify their manufacturing locations, Cook made it clear that the company’s nearly 30-year history with China is set to continue. “We’ve been building up and investing more and more,” he said, adding that “Today’s factories are so much more modern… and in 10 years from now, we will keep advancing.”

As part of his visit, Cook met with several Chinese suppliers, including BYD, Lens, and Everwin, at Apple’s Shanghai office. The companies showcased their latest products and innovations during the meeting, further reinforcing the strong partnerships between Apple and its Chinese suppliers.

In addition to discussing business matters, Cook has also been engaging with the local community during his stay in Shanghai. He shared a post on his Weibo page about touring the city and having breakfast with popular Chinese actor Zheng Kai. The accompanying video quickly gained traction, with half a million views within minutes of posting, as reported by Bloomberg.

However, despite Cook’s assertion that “there’s no supply chain in the world that’s more critical to us than China,” and his commitment to continue investing in the country, Apple has lost its position as the top-selling smartphone maker in China. According to a report by Counterpoint Research, the company’s iPhone sales in China fell by 24 percent in the first six weeks of 2024, causing Apple’s market share to slip from 19 percent in 2023 to 15.7 percent.Chinese companies Vivo, Huawei, and Honor now occupy the top three spots in the smartphone market, with Apple trailing in fourth place. Meng Meng Zhang, a senior analyst at Counterpoint Research, attributed Apple’s decline to “stiff competition at the high end from a resurgent Huawei while getting squeezed in the middle on aggressive pricing from the likes of OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi.”

Israel Eliminates Senior Hamas Operatives in Rafah, Despite U.S. Opposition

Israel struck five senior Hamas operatives in the city of Rafah, in southern Gaza, on Monday, despite the public opposition of the Biden administration to Israeli attacks there, and a demand for prior approval by Washington.

As Breitbart News reported, U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan told reporters on Monday at the White House that President Joe Biden opposed attacks in Rafah had summoned Israeli officials to D.C. for discussions.

At most, Sullivan suggested, the U.S. might support limited, targeted strikes within Rafah against specific Hamas targets. He strongly implied, however, that such operations would need to be cleared with the United States first.

Nevertheless, on Monday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Agency (ISA, or “Shin Bet,” or “Shabak”) were conducting a secret mission in Rafah, killing four senior Hamas officials and wounding another.

In a joint announcement, the IDF and ISA said:

On Monday, IDF fighter jets acting on IDF and ISA intelligence eliminated senior Hamas operatives in Rafah who assisted its military wing in establishing continued control, as well as operations in the field.

The operatives struck were Sayid Katab Alkhashash, Osama Hamd Zaher, Muhammad Aud Almelalakhi, the heads of Hamas’ Emergency Bureau in Northern and Eastern Rafah, alongside Hadi Abu Alrus Kasin, an operations officer.

The senior operatives were the representatives of Hamas’ leadership in Rafah. As part of their roles, they managed the terror organization’s activities in humanitarian zones and were responsible for coordination with Hamas operatives in the field.

Furthermore, Nidal Aleed, the Head of Hamas’ Rafah Emergency Bureau, who managed all of its operations in the area, was eliminated in a strike last week.

Of the five, all were confirmed dead except Muhammad Aud Almelalakhi, whom the IDF described as “struck.”

Asked by Breitbart News to comment on the attack in Rafah, and whether it was cleared with the U.S., or defied the Biden administration’s opposition, Israeli government spokesman David Mencer said Tuesday that Israel would always “try and work with our good friends, the Americans, to make sure that we are on the same page,” but that Prime Minister Netanyahu had stressed that there would be “no refuge” for Hamas in Rafah, or anywhere.

Mencer added that Israel believed that many of the 134 remaining Israeli hostages — roughly 100 of whom are thought to be alive — are in Rafah.

Mencer added that four of Hamas’s remaining battalions are in Rafah, adding that 18.5 of the 24 had been eliminated (one and-a-half are still in central Gaza). He also noted that Israel had reduced ratio of civilians to terrorists killed to below one-to-one, an extraordinary achievement in urban warfare.

In addition, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu named two senior advisers Tuesday to travel to Washington for talks with the Biden administration: Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer and National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi. Dermer, as a former ambassador, was particularly close to the Trump administration.

China Tells Hamas Chief It Is ‘Keen on Relations’ in First Meeting Since October 7

China sent a delegation to Qatar to meet with the head of the jihadist terrorist organization Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, the Foreign Ministry revealed on Tuesday, reportedly telling him that Beijing is “keen on relations” with the genocidal group.

The encounter is the first of its kind between the Chinese government and Hamas since October 7, when the terrorists executed an unprecedented siege of Israel that resulted in an estimated 1,200 deaths, the abduction of an estimated 250 people, and a spree of torture, gang rape, and the desecration of the dead. The “al-Aqsa flood,” as Hamas terrorists refer to the attack, is widely considered the largest single-day slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust.

Hamas is a Sunni terrorist organization that enjoys funding from key China ally Iran and has openly called for the destruction of Israel and the elimination of Jewish people from the territory. The Chinese Communist Party has been largely favorable to Hamas since October 7, particularly at international venues such as the United Nations and BRICS coalition meetings, despite Beijing orchestrating an ongoing genocide of Turkic Muslims in occupied East Turkistan and justifying it by claiming it is necessary to prevent terrorism. China has similarly supported the geopolitical goals of other jihadist terrorist groups despite its claim to oppose radical Islamic terrorism, most notably the Afghan Taliban.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed the meeting with Haniyeh on Tuesday in a statement that offered almost no information beyond the fact that the meeting occurred.

“On March 17, 2024, Ambassador Wang Kezhuo of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with the President of the Hamas Political Bureau, Haniyeh, during his visit to Qatar and exchanged views on issues such as the Gaza conflict,” the statement read.

During its regular press briefing on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry refused to offer any more information, Newly minted spokesman Lin Jian addressed the situation in the Middle East only in the context of the Palestinian Authority appointing a new “prime minister,” Mohammad Mustafa.

“Any arrangement concerning the future and destiny of Palestine must follow the principle of ‘the Palestinians governing Palestine’ and fully reflect the Palestinians’ aspirations,” Lin said. “China stands ready to work with all parties to deescalate the current tensions and bring the Palestinian question back to the right track of the two-State solution.”

Prior to the confirmation on Tuesday, the Jerusalem Post reportedly that the meeting between Haniyeh and Wang occurred on Sunday. It claimed that Wang told the Hamas terror leader that China believed Hamas “is part of the Palestinian national fabric and China is keen on relations with it.”

Wang claimed that China had a “close and historic relationship” with “the Palestinian people.”

Hamas published its own statement on the social media outlet Telegram confirming the meeting and noting that Chinese Ambassador to Doha Cao Xiaolin also attended the meeting. Haniyeh and Hamas’s “political” leaders live in luxury in Qatar, granting the country a mediator role between the terrorists and the free world.

According to the Middle East outlet Al-Monitor, Haniyeh pressured China to help Hamas “end the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip and see the displaced return home, as well as for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the enclave.” He also demanded help in establishing a Palestinian state headquartered in Jerusalem, the capital of Israel.

Following the October 7 atrocities, the Israeli government launched a self-defense operation in Gaza, which Hamas has governed since winning the last elections there in 2006. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has faced significant pressure from leftist American President Joe Biden, expected to be Israel’s closest ally on the world stage, to stop the operations in Gaza and give Hamas time to thrive. Biden has particularly opposed Israel Defense Forces (IDF) operations in Rafah, the last Hamas stronghold in Gaza.

“The majority of Israelis understand that if we don’t do this, what we’ll have is a repetition of the October 7th massacre, which is bad for Israel, bad for the Palestinians, bad for the future of peace in the Middle East,” Netanyahu said in an interview last week, addressing tensions with Biden. “So, the attempt to say that my policies are my private policies that are not supported by most Israelis, is false. The vast majority are united as never before.”

Hamas also claimed this week that, during his meeting with the Chinese diplomats, Haniyeh “praised the role that China plays in the Security Council, the United Nations, the International Court of Justice, and in sending humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.”

China took over the presidency of the U.N. Security Council in November for the typical one-month term, taking the helm at a critical time in the immediate aftermath of the October 7 attack. It used the position to demand a “ceasefire” on the part of the IDF and block attempts to support Israel’s right to self-defense.

China also hosted a summit of Arab nations in November in which leaders loudly echoed Hamas’s political positions.

“China is a good friend and brother of Arab and Islamic countries. We have always firmly safeguarded the legitimate rights and interests of Arab (and) Islamic countries and have always firmly supported the just cause of the Palestinian people,” Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said at the time.

Chinese dictator Xi Jinping has personally weighed in on the conflict to demand Israel stop defending itself.

“Stop all violence and attacks against civilians, release civilians held captive, and act to prevent loss of more lives and spare people from more miseries,” Xi ordered Israel in remarks in November, his first time discussing the matter publicly, during an emergency meeting of the BRICS coalition. “The collective punishment of people in Gaza in the form of forced transfer or water, electricity and fuel deprivation must stop.”

BRICS originally consisted of China, South Africa, Brazil, India, and Russia, but accepted five new members in January: Iran, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Ethiopia, and Saudi Arabia. As of February, Saudi Arabia – Iran’s longtime geopolitical rival – had not completed the process to fully integrate into BRICS.

Elsewhere at the event, Xi asserted, “the only viable way to break the cycle of Palestinian-Israeli conflict lies in the two-state solution, in the restoration of the legitimate national rights of Palestine, and in the establishment of an independent State of Palestine.”

President Joe Biden’s staffers are asking Congress for more than $13 billion in taxpayer funds to help move many more economic migrants into homes and workplaces in American communities.

Much of the money will be used to bail out the sanctuary cities that help displace Americans by welcoming migrants who serve as lower-wage workers, apartment-sharing renters, and taxpayer-aided consumers.

The 2025 funding is being requested by two pro-migration cabinet members — Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Alejandro Mayorkas, the  Cuba-born head of the Department of Homeland Security.

Their plans are outlined in the 2025 budget request to Congress, released on Monday, March 11. The funding request likely will be approved unless the GOP wins a House and Senate majority in November. If approved, the 12 months of spending could begin on October 1, 2024.

Biden’s huge inflow of migrants has already delivered one illegal or legal migrant for every American born during his tenure. That massive planned inflow has suppressed wages, inflated housing prices, and diverted investment from high-tech jobs to cheap-labor taxpayer-funded jobs.

For example, President Donald Trump’s slow-motion curbs on migration prompted U.S meatpacking companies to develop and buy technology that helps American meatpackers safely get more work done — and earn more pay. But Biden’s disposable, cheap-labor migrants are now being recruited by meatpacking companies, according to a Bloomberg News report that was tagged as an “equality” article:

Tyson [Foods Inc.] is constantly in search of workers to fill jobs in its factories — tasks like washing meat, placing the cuts into trays and doing a final inspection for bones. Dolan says the company expects about 40% of the 100,000 people in these roles will leave each year, a statistic he says is standard across the meatpacking industry. To meet this need, he said, Tyson plans to hire about 52,000 people at that wage class — which starts at $16.50 an hour, plus benefits — in 2024 alone.

Biden told MSNBC on March 9 that he wants a “more orderly flow” of southern migrants into jobs around the nation because “they’re the reason our economy is growing.”

However, at least 5 million Americans have fallen out — or been pushed — of the workforce because of crime, drugs, and other failures. Polls show that a majority of Americans want less legal and illegal migration.

Homeland Security

Mayorkas’ budget request asks for $4.7 billion for the “Southwest Border Enforcement Capacity Flexibility” (SWBCF) account, saying:

Resources in the SWBCF may be transferred to CBP, ICE, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for critical operations like transportation, medical care, soft-sided facilities, and Shelter and Service Program grants.

Mayorkas also asked for Congress to provide at least $5 billion in city bailout funds that were blocked by GOP Senators in February. This funding is intended to support the economic migrants who have already flooded through the semi-open border with Mexico.

Some of the disaster funding would go to the nationwide network of non-government organizations, cities, and towns that transport, feed, shelter, and hide migrants. The network is dubbed the “Northside Migration Cartel” by Jessica Vaughan of the Center for Immigration Studies.

The non-government organizations that are paid to help the migration include Catholic Charities.

The bailout funding is vital for Democratic politicians, many of whom are cutting spending on Americans to help fund the shelters that hide the migrants from local TV news stations.

Much additional funding may be hidden in other agency accounts. For example, agency officials can quietly divert funds from vaguely named accounts toward the cities and non-government organizations. The budget document says:

The Budget includes $22.7B for the Disaster Relief Fund (DRF) – Major Disasters, which enables FEMA to fund authorized disaster support activities. The DRF Base requirements total $811.0M and will be funded from prior years’ resources.

The agency request also asks for more funds to bring in more legal refugees, saying, “The Budget includes $145.0M and 641 FTE [Full-Time Equivalent employee] to fully support the [agency’s] USCIS International and Refugee Affairs Division, a partner in the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program.”

In contrast, the department only asks “$849 [million] for cutting-edge [drug] detection technology at ports of entry,” despite the annual death of 70,000 Americans from smuggled fentanyl drugs.

State Department

The Department of State is asking for $3.8 billion to import more workers, consumers, and renters who are selected via the “Migration and Refugee Assistance” programs.

The document says:

The Request provides the resources necessary to fully support the refugee admissions program and will fund contributions to such organizations as the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as well as other international and non-governmental organizations that address pressing humanitarian needs overseas and resettle refugees in the United States.

Those groups provide debit cards and other aid to migrants to help them reach the United States via Central America.

The $3.8 billion fund includes $1.2 billion to bring 125,000 refugees from poor countries straight into U.S. cities and towns, such as the Congo.

The $1.2 billion will also be used to help private-sector U.S. groups — in the so-called “Welcome Corps” — to import their own migrants. These migrants are used to fill jobs that would otherwise go to better-paid Americans.

In December 2023, DocumentedNY.com described the story of one Haitian among the roughly 107,000 Haitians permitted to enter the United States:

Jemimah was a kindergarten teacher in Port-au-Prince. She dreamed of working in New York schools but couldn’t meet the requirements. She wanted to have a job so she could help her three siblings and her mother in Haiti. Now she wants to save money while in the U.S. to establish a school upon returning to Haiti. Eight months after arriving in New York, she works as a part-time babysitter.

The state department’s funds will also be used to operate more “Safe Mobility Offices.” These offices are being opened in South America and elsewhere so that foreigners can get legal permission to fly into the United States without having to pay smugglers and cartels to reach California and Texas — or be included in Mayorkas’ monthly reports on illegal migration.

The department also plans to fund the arrival of diverse migrants from Afghanistan, various sexual minorities, and Muslim “Royhinga” migrants from near India. The document says:

priorities in FY 2025 include the continued expansion of the Welcome Corps, a new private sponsorship program that empowers everyday Americans to play a leading role in welcoming refugees; continued expansion of legal pathways through the Safe Mobility Office initiative in the Western Hemisphere; expanded opportunities under for Afghans at-risk due to their affiliation with the United States under the Administration’s longer-term, sustainable resettlement operation “Enduring Welcome”; greater access to resettlement for LGBTQI+ refugees through increased NGO direct referrals and private sponsorship; continued efforts to build domestic resettlement capacity and expand the traditional resettlement agency network; expand resettlement of Rohingya in Bangladesh and increase resettlement opportunities for Rohingya globally, and continue to build the Resettlement Diplomacy Network and U.S.-led efforts to increase resettlement capacity and resettlement infrastructure globally.

Some of the money will be used to import more Afghan migrants, according to the request:

In FY 2025, the Department plans to continue to process and support the country’s Afghan allies at several overseas locations. For example, CARE Doha (previously Camp As Sayliyah) in Qatar continues to serve as the primary overseas platform for processing applications for individuals relocated from Afghanistan. In addition, the Department is focused on SIV processing in Tirana, Albania, and is increasing capacity to process SIV and refugee applicants in Pakistan. The State Department continues to strive to bring online additional processing capacity in the East Asian and Pacific Affairs areas of responsibility.

The budget also asks for $100 million to fund “Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance” or ERMA. Roughly $50 million was spent in 2023 to aid “the urgent humanitarian needs of vulnerable migrants in the Western Hemisphere.”

The document noted that officials already have $1.6 billion in the ERMA account:

As of the start of FY 2024, a total of $1.571 billion in ERMA also remained available separately for the purposes of meeting unexpected urgent refugee and migration needs to support Enduring Welcome and related efforts by the Department of State in Afghanistan, including additional travel and related expenses for individuals at risk.

The State Department also wants $650 million in new funds for Ukrainian migrants. But the request does not say if the money will be used to shift Ukrainians into U.S. communities.

A recent report claimed that the federal government earns profits from refugees — but it excluded many costs as well as marketplace costs to Americans.
The White House’s push for more migration is both ideological and economic.

Mayorkas has repeatedly explained that he supports more migration because of his migrant parents, his sympathy for migrants, his support for “equity” between Americans and foreigners, and his willingness to put his priorities above the law.

So he is eager to claim that U.S. business “needs” migrants — regardless of the cost to ordinary Americans, the impact on U.S. children, or Americans’ rational opposition. Since 2021, he has created a series of legally contested “legal pathways” for migrants to flow into jobs and homes through the United States.

A new report from the Congressional Budget Office reinforces the vast evidence that the federal policy of Extraction Migration shifts family wages and workplace investment toward Wall Streetreal estatecoastal states, and government.
