Former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg Pleads Guilty to Tax Fraud

Former Trump Organization chief financial officer (CFO) Allen Weisselberg pleaded guilty Thursday to 15 counts of fraud and tax evasion, in a plea deal requiring him to testify against the company but not against former President Donald Trump.

Events in a federal courtroom in New York played out much as anticipated. As Breitbart News reported earlier this week:

Allen Weisselberg, the chief financial officer (CFO) of the Trump Organization, Donald Trump’s business empire, is expected to reach a plea deal with prosecutors in a tax fraud case that does not require him to testify against the former president.

The relatively minor allegations were anticlimactic, given the public determination of elected Democratic prosecutors to pursue Trump for whatever crime they could find. Trump himself was not accused of breaking the law, but prosecutors hoped to turn Weisselberg against Trump by pressuring him to testify against his former boss in other investigations.

That effort appears to have failed, with Weisselberg refusing to cooperate, and prosecutors reportedly considering a plea deal that could see the septuagenarian executive sentenced to as little as five months in jail, and eligible for early release after about 100 days.

CBS News added Thursday:

Weisselberg’s deal with prosecutors calls for a sentence of five months in New York’s Rikers Island jail, followed by five years’ probation. He must also pay $1.9 million in back taxes and fines, and must appear as a witness during the company’s trial to testify under oath. He has not agreed to provide any new or supplemental information about Trump or the company that bears his name, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Weisselberg was accused of receiving fringe benefits such as free rent, private school tuitions, and a car without reporting them to the IRS. The value of the benefits was estimated at a total $1.7 million over a period of 15 years. The company is also accused of failing to report the benefits, though Trump himself is not implicated.

Democrats celebrated the conviction, though it failed to reach the former president.

K Street lobbyists and lawyers lost a favorite lawmaker on Tuesday night when the Trump-backed candidate Harriet Hageman defeated Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY).

Ahead of the pivotal primary for Wyoming’s at-large congressional district, Politico documented how lawyers and lobbyists have been some of “Cheney’s biggest benefactors throughout her political career.”

The establishment media outlet noted that more than four dozen Republican lobbyists signed up to host one fundraiser for Cheney in 2021.

Politico also noted that many prominent lobbyists donated to Cheney in the final weeks of her primary, even though she was slated to lose Hageman.

The outlet’s Caitlyn Oprysko elaborated:

Samuel Olchyk of Venable, Michael Robinson of Mehlman Castagnetti Rosen & Thomas, Khary Cauthen of Cheniere, Julius Hobson of Polsinelli and Christopher Boesen of Tiber Creek Associates of Capitol Hill, are among the registered lobbyists who wrote checks to Cheney in the final weeks of the primary, along with Joshua Dorner, the managing director of SKDK’s Washington office and Hal Quinn, the head of the National Mining Association.

CVS Health’s Shannon Penberthy and ACG Advocacy’s Michael Barbera also wrote checks to Cheney this year, and throughout the campaign, she received donations of at least $2,900 — the maximum amount allowed for individuals for a primary — from Nathanson + Hauck’s Megan Hauck, the Business Roundtable’s Josh Bolten and Kristen Silverberg, Blackstone’s Wayne BermanCoinbase’s Kara Calvert, Fierce Government Relations’ Kirk Blalock, Forbes Tate Partners’ Jeff Forbes (a Democrat), West Front Strategies’ Shimmy Stein and Airlines for America’s Nick Calio.

James Richards of Cornerstone Government Affairs, Brian Shinault of American Strategic Partners and Denise Morrisey of Capitol Counsel have also donated to Hageman.

Former lawmakers also donated to Cheney.

This includes, “Filemón VelaCongress Minutes reported. Former Reps. Mac Thornberry, Martha Roby and Rodney Frelinghuysen also contributed via their old campaign accounts, while former Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen gave to Cheney personally.”

Jeff Miller, a House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) ally who runs the lobbying firm Miller Strategies, said in 2021 that they could either work for Cheney or they could work for the potential next House speaker.

Trump is struggling to find good lawyers who are still willing to represent him: WaPo report

  • Donald Trump is struggling to find lawyers willing to represent him, per a Washington Post report.

  • The Post spoke to several lawyers, some of whom described Trump as an impossible client.

  • Others said they feared they would not get paid after representing him.

Former President Donald Trump is having trouble finding a good lawyer to represent him, per a new report from The Washington Post.

The Post spoke to several lawyers who commented under the condition of anonymity on Trump's struggle to find seasoned counsel to defend him. "Everyone is saying no," a Republican lawyer told The Post, weighing in on how lawyers are turning down the Trump camp's cases.

Also speaking under anonymity, another lawyer spoke about the difficulties faced when representing Trump. They said that during his presidency, Trump would tweet about the Mueller probe against his legal team's advice. Several other people also told The Post that Trump was an impossible client, and worried if they would be compensated for their work.

"In olden days, he would tell firms representing him was a benefit because they could advertise off it. Today it's not the same," said Michael Cohen, a former Trump lawyer who has since become a fierce critic of the former president.

"He's also a very difficult client in that he's always pushing the envelope, he rarely listens to sound legal advice, and he wants you to do things that are not appropriate, ethically or legally," Cohen added.

Trump spokesman Taylor Budowich told The Post that the Trump legal team includes individuals like Jim Trusty and Evan Corcoran, who have "decades of prosecutorial experience and have litigated some of the most complex cases in American history."

"President Trump is represented by some of the strongest attorneys in the country, and any suggestion otherwise is only driven by envy," Budowich said.

Trump is currently represented by Trusty and Corcoran — as well as Alina Habba, a New Jersey parking garage lawyer, and former One America News anchor Christina Bobb.

Trump is facing several major legal challenges this year, including an investigation in New York into whether the Trump Organization violated banking, insurance, and tax laws and whether it engaged in financial fraud. Trump pleaded the fifth more than 440 times during his deposition in the case.

Trump could also be facing potential criminal charges following an investigation from the Department of Justice into whether he mishandled confidential documents. While executing a search warrant on Trump's Mar-a-Lago last Monday, the FBI removed 11 sets of classified documents — some of which were marked "top secret" and concerned nuclear weapons. According to the warrant, the Justice Department is looking into whether Trump broke three federal laws, including the Espionage Act.

A representative at Trump's post-presidential press office did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.

Watching outgoing (tee hee) Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) compare herself to Ulysses S. Grant was really something. Watching her compare herself to Abraham Lincoln is now (at least so far) my favorite part of the 2022 election season.

The self-regard! The hubris! The self-love!

More like, the self-delusion.

With narcissistic sociopaths like Liz Cheney, you never know if they truly believe what they say or whether they are just saying what they’re required to remain in good standing with the Mika-Joe-Jake-Anderson-Wolf-Rachel morons.

You better tote that barge, girl. You better lift that bale.

To keep her and the rest of our insufferable elites’ delusions in place, Cheney says she’s seriously thinking of running for president in 2024.

As what?

The Democrats will chuck her the moment she stops being useful and represents even a tiny threat to their violent quest for power. Ask Cindy Sheehan about that.

As we saw in her blow-out humiliation in Wyoming, GOP voters can’t stand her.

Will she try to run as a spoiler Independent? Well, who do you think that will hurt? Donald Trump, who left office with record GOP support? Or His Fraudulency Joe Biden, who’s losing Democrat support, even among black voters?

Please, run, Liz. Run like the wind, cupcake. Run like you’ve never run before. Run like there’s a spot on The View for you at the finish line.

Hey, maybe Liz and Evan McMullin could join forces and run for president on the Smug Ticket.

Liz Cheney was not humiliated and rejected in Wyoming Tuesday night because she “betrayed Donald Trump.” Liz Cheney was humiliated and rejected because she betrayed Wyoming.

How much higher do energy prices have to explode before Liz Cheney gives up on her personal (and childish) vendetta against the Orange Whale?

How many illegal aliens have to cross the border before Liz Cheney stops allowing herself to be prostituted against all Trump supporters by Nancy Pelosi?

How much underage grooming does the left have to try and institutionalize in our schools, health care, and entertainment before Liz Cheney stops making everything about Liz Cheney and her “principles?”

How bad does crime have to get?

How many Afghanistan withdrawals?

How many Black Lives Matter riots?

How high does the price of eggs have to get before Liz Cheney disconnects from the crack pipe of establishment media love?

NYC to Give 6K Luxury Hotel Rooms to Border Crossers as Rents Skyrocket for Americans

WASHINGTON, DC - AUGUST 11: Migrants disembark a bus from Texas within view of the U.S. Capitol on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022 in Washington, DC. New York City officials are hoping to provide a total of nearly 6,000 luxury hotel rooms to border crossers arriving on buses from Texas even as rents for city residents skyrocket to unsustainable prices.

For weeks, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) has sent buses filled with border crossers to New York City — a rigorous sanctuary city that shields and protects illegal aliens from arrest and deportation by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.

Emma-Jo Morris / Breitbart News
0 seconds of 44 secondsVolume 90%

Mayor Eric Adams (D), a supporter of the city’s sanctuary policy, has called on New Yorkers to get “on board” with waves of illegal immigration sent to New York City while also calling the migrant buses “horrific” and suggesting he will retaliate against Abbott.

Adams, according to the New York Post, is planning a housing initiative that would provide nearly 6,000 luxury hotel rooms to border crossers arriving on the buses.

The Post reports:

There is no price tag attached to the request that was released Wednesday, which was made under the emergency contracting powers invoked by Mayor Eric Adams when the migrant crisis first began in the city. [Emphasis added]

The Department of Homeless Services had previously asked nonprofit social service providers to send in proposals to rent rooms and provide aid for 600 families set to be housed in a luxury Midtown hotel, the Row NYC on 8th Avenue. [Emphasis added]

And it would come on top of the estimated 200 already secured and providing housing for families at the Skyline Hotel on 10th Avenue. [Emphasis added]

NYC Mayor's Office / YouTube
0 seconds of 43 secondsVolume 90%

The housing plan for border crossers comes as rents for New York City residents have skyrocketed to levels that are pushing working and middle class communities further out of the area.

A recent analysis from Street Easy revealed that about 34 percent of apartments listed in New York City today opened only after tenants were forced out as a result of massive rent increases.

In June, rents across New York City hit an average of $3,500 a month. By borough, the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Manhattan is now $4,100, the average rent in Brooklyn is now well over $3,000 a month, and the average rent in Queens is now around $2,500 a month.

Real estate investors are some of the biggest beneficiaries of mass immigration to the United States. Immigration-driven population growth, set to bring the U.S. population to more than 400 million residents by 2060, is likely to send housing prices even higher.

A 2017 study, published in the Journal of Housing Economics, found that “increases in immigration into a metropolitan statistical area are linked with rising rents and home prices in that metropolitan statistical area and neighboring metropolitan statistical areas.”

Today, annually, the U.S. imports more than a million legal immigrants on green cards and another 1.5 million foreign workers on temporary work visas to take American jobs. In addition, millions of illegal aliens are added to the population every few years.

Fentanyl, Gun, Migrants Found in Smuggling Vehicles in Arizona near Border

Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents disrupted multiple human smuggling incidents over the past few days. In addition to arresting migrants and their human smugglers, agents also recovered fentanyl and a loaded pistol.

Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent John R. Modlin tweeted a report regarding an interdicted human smuggling incident. Agents responded to a request for assistance from the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office regarding a suspicious SUV driving on SR-92 near the Arizona-Mexico border. Agents conducted an immigration interview.

The agents identified the driver as a U.S. citizen. They identified the three passengers as migrants illegally present in the United States.

Agents contacted an EMS crew due to the erratic behavior of the driver, Modlin stated. During a search of the vehicle, agents seized an undisclosed quantity of fentanyl pills. The agents arrested the driver and the migrants.

Modlin also tweeted a report regarding the arrest of a previously convicted felon who was allegedly smuggling two migrants into the U.S. interior.

Court records obtained by Breitbart Texas identified the suspected smuggler as Ahmahd Montez Jackson, a U.S. citizen. The criminal complaint alleges that Border Patrol agents from the Brian A. Terry Station operating a drone surveillance system observed a blue Mercedes E-300 behaving in a suspicious manner near Douglas, Arizona during the early morning hours of August 9. The agents observed the vehicle stopping to load multiple suspected migrants.

Agents arrived at the location and initiated a traffic stop. Agents approached the vehicle and found two people attempting to hide in the rear seats. Jackson told the agents he had just picked up the two people and did not know them.

During an immigration interview, the agents identified the two passengers as citizens of Mexico and Guatemala. The agents placed all three under arrest.

During a search of the vehicle, agents found a Ruger LCP .380 caliber handgun with one round in the chamber and four in the magazine. The agents found the pistol in the glove compartment.

Jackson later allegedly admitted to being paid $500 for each of the smuggled migrants. He was instructed where to pick them up and to drive them to a location in Phoenix.

Jackson also admitted to a previous conviction for armed robbery for which he served multiple years in prison, the complaint states. Investigators say Jackson admitted to knowing the gun was in the car and that he was not allowed to possess a firearm.

Court records show that a Maricopa County Superior Court convicted Jackson on the robbery charge in 2015 and sentenced him to eight years in state prison.

Jackson now faces federal charges related to human smuggling and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

EXCLUSIVE: Biden CBP Warns of Extremist Violence from Open Border ‘False Perception’

Large Group
Breitbart Texas/Randy Clark

According to a source within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, a recent email addressed to all CBP personnel from Commissioner Chris Magnus warns of potential violence directed at law enforcement due to the “false perception that the U.S. Government in not working to maintain security along the US-Mexico border.”

Breitbart Texas reviewed the email circulated to all Border Patrol Agents and CBP staff. Magnus further states the “false perception” that the federal government is not working to maintain security along the border is fueling the potential for domestic extremist violence.

In addition to the recent FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, Magnus draws on a June DHS National Terrorism Advisory System bulletin:

Some domestic violent extremists have expressed grievances related to their perception that the U.S. government is unwilling or unable to secure the U.S.-Mexico border and have called for violence to stem the flow of undocumented migrants to the United States. We assess that there is increased risk of domestic violent extremists using changes in border security-related policies and/or enforcement mechanisms to justify violence against individuals, such as minorities and law enforcement officials involved in the enforcement of border security.

The source within Customs and Border Protection, speaking on the condition of anonymity, says the message had a stinging effect on already sinking morale. They note that perceptions of lacking enforcement on the border are grounded in truth. The source complains about relatively few Border Patrol agents able to perform conventional duties.

The influx has stymied the agency’s ability to detect and record migrant got-aways according to the source, with nearly half a million eluding apprehension since October 2021.

The increase in migrant apprehensions is staggering. As of July, with two months remaining in the current fiscal year, Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 1.8 million migrants. In 2021, 1,659,206 migrants were arrested during the entire year. The current running total shatters the previous agency record along the southwest border.

As reported by Breitbart Texas on Sunday, nearly 700 migrants waded across the Rio Grande in one border city. Breitbart Texas posted at major migrant crossings and observed large and small migrant groups surrendering to Texas Army National Guard soldiers, Highway Patrol and Border Patrol around the town of Eagle Pass.

According to the source, on Sunday, more than 2,000 migrants were apprehended in the Del Rio Sector, mostly in Eagle Pass. They were usually released to pursue asylum claims.

The releases have frustrated mayors and city officials around the country who now face rising costs to accommodate arriving migrants. The City of San Antonio expressed similar concerns and attempted to reduce the daily influx. Local authorities issued threats to turn buses around to the border if left unsatisfied by the CBP.

Record Number of Migrants Arrested at the Border This Year

A record number of migrants have been arrested at the southern border this fiscal year, U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced on Monday.

Border Patrol reported making 1.82 million arrests, beating last fiscal year’s record-setting 1.66 million. Two-thirds of those migrants were single adults. Analysts expect arrests to reach two million by the end of the fiscal year, which runs from October to the end of September, the Wall Street Journal reported

"We’re apprehending people left and right," Border Patrol agent Jesus Vasalvilbaso told the Wall Street Journal.

The border crisis continues to surge under the Biden administration’s more lenient immigration policies. In the 2021 fiscal year, the Biden administration reduced migrant prosecutions by nearly 80 percent. In April, the administration announced it plans to end Title 42, a Trump-era immigration policy that allowed the United States to quickly expel illegal immigrants, a decision most voters opposed.

In response to the president’s immigration policy, Texas governor Greg Abbott (R.) has bused thousands of asylum seekers from the border to the Democrat-run cities of Washington, D.C., and New York City, prompting the cities' mayors to call for federal aid.

"[It] has never been worse," Abbott told Fox News in July. "And it's never been worse because the numbers are higher than they've ever been, the problems and challenges are mounting on the other side of the border. But worst of all, we are not seeing the president lift a finger to do anything about it. … It's reprehensible."

Men Behind ‘Potential Massacre’ in Virginia Were Illegal Immigrants

Two men arrested for plotting a mass shooting at a Fourth of July fireworks show in Richmond, Va., were illegal immigrants.

Police arrested the men earlier this month following an anonymous tip that the two were planning an attack at the Dogwood Dell Amphitheater. During the arrests, Richmond police seized two assault-style rifles, one handgun, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

Both men were charged with possession of firearms by non-U.S. citizens, according to court records. A Richmond police spokeswoman said at a press conference that the two suspects are from Guatemala.

The incident is the second high-profile crime by illegal immigrants in recent weeks. Two illegal immigrants were arrested in Texas for their alleged role in the deaths of more than 50 migrants left in a semi-trailer.

The weapons possessed by the Virginia suspects also raises questions about how gun control laws could prevent such attacks in the future. Both men were not allowed to purchase any firearms under federal law. Richmond authorities said they are working with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to trace where the suspects' weapons and ammunition came from.

The two suspects were roommates in the Richmond area. At least one of the men was living in the United States on an expired visa, and the Associated Press reported that court filings show both are living in the United States illegally.

The motivation behind the attack is unknown. Police say there is no reason to believe there was any connection to previous mass shootings. At least one man was offered $15,000 bail.

"We know their intent. Their intent was to conduct a mass shooting at our Fourth of July celebration," Richmond police chief Gerald Smith said at the press conference.

The amphitheater targeted in the alleged plot seats more than 2,000 people. Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R., Va.) called the anonymous tipster a "hero" who helped prevent a "potential massacre."

Joe Biden’s 2022 Migrant Flood Breaks Records

Another 199,976 economic migrants arrived at the southern border in July, ensuring President Joe Biden’s 2022 migration exceeds the total 2021 numbers, even though August and September numbers have yet to be added.

The government tracks the migrant arrival and inflow data by its “Fiscal Year” calendar, which starts October 1 and ends September 30. The total 2022 number will be known once the August and September numbers are counted.

In all 12 months of fiscal 2021, officials counted 1,734,686 migrants at the border and allowed 671,160 into the United States via various border-law loopholes.

But in the first 10 months of fiscal 2022, border officials have counted 1,946,780 migrants at the border and allowed 1,012,378 economic migrants to seek homes and jobs throughout the United States.

This July, Biden’s deputies admitted 125,403 of the 199,976 arriving migrants. The 2022 admission numbers show a 50 percent jump over 2021, with two months to go.

The numbers are flawed. For example, the numbers counted at the border are inflated when rejected migrants repeatedly try to sneak across the border.

But the bigger problem is that the government numbers hide the huge inflow of “got-aways” — people who sneak past the few patrol agents and the incomplete border wall along the border. Insiders within the border agencies say the agencies count roughly 40,000 got-aways each month or roughly 500,000 per year.

Biden’s huge inflow of workers, consumers, and renters help to tilt the economy against ordinary Americans.

For example, the inflow of workers allows investors and companies to hire many desperate migrants at low wages. The workers are also renters, so their inflow worsens inflation by spiking housing prices, so importing more economic damage to ordinary Americans.

In New York state, wages rose by 5 percent from June 2021 to June 2022. Yet inflation rose faster — especially for housing and food — leaving the city’s residents poorer than one year before. Breitbart reported on August 11 that “the Bureau of Labor Statistics Producer Price Index showed on Thursday that consumer food prices … are up 15.8 percent, the highest year-to-year rate of inflation since 1974.”

The GOP continues to downplay the pocketbook damage caused by Biden’s policies. For example, the House’s 2022 campaign team — the National Republican Congressional Committee — treats the immigration crisis as merely a border crisis. That strategy allows the committee to ignore the pocketbook damage and to instead focus voters on border chaos, drug smuggling, and migrant crime.

Meanwhile, Biden’s border chief, Alejandro Mayorkas, has sided with economic migrants against Americans.

“I am, to a great extent, aligned with the expectations” of the immigrant community, the Cuban-born, pro-migration zealot told an affluent and cheering audience at the Aspen Institute on July 19.

The government data also hides the record number of migrants killed as they try to reach Biden’s welcome at the border. For example, Breitbart News reported on August 11:

Information provided to Breitbart Texas by an official operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection reports that more than 670 migrants have died in Fiscal Year 2022 … Of the more than 670 deaths, 60 percent were drownings and exposure. Another 10 percent of the deaths were discovered but causes were not definitive.

Many additional migrants died on their trek far south of the U.S. border.

On August 15, Efectococuyo.com reported the testimony of a Venezuelan migrant — Orlando — who left a safe home in Columbia to cross into Panama via the dangerous Darien Gap, where likely thousands of Biden migrants have died. The Venezuelan said he crossed the jungle trail through the mountains with a Nigerian family:

While we were going up, his wife slipped and broke her neck. He finished loading one of his children and I the other. Upon reaching the top he asked me to put up with the kids. He went down to get the body of his wife, put it on his back and went up… Orlando opens his arms and shows how his friend lifted his wife’s body and put it around her shoulders, so that it would not fall.

Upon reaching the top, he looked for a place to lay it down. Innocent, the children thought that the woman was asleep and lay down next to her, each on one side of her, and asked their father when he was going to wake up.

Orlando can’t find the voice to go on. He rubs his arms like someone who feels chills. However, he recovers and continues: “He carried her a little longer until we reached a point. We stopped to rest and there he made a grave to bury her.”

This economic damage and the death toll are being hidden by pro-migration advocates. For example, the elitist, D.C.-based Atlantic magazine recently hid the pain of Biden’s migration under a 30,000-word sermon against President Donald Trump’s successful border policy.

“It’s a magnificent, comprehensive investigation of the Trump administration’s family separation policy,” Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor of the pro-migration outlet said August 9. “Don’t think of it as a very, very long story — think of it as a very, very short book,” he added.

Extraction Migration

The policy of Extraction Migration is central to the U.S. economy. The policy extracts human material — migrants — from poor countries and uses them as workers, renters, and consumers to shift vast wealth from ordinary people to billionaires and Wall St.

Since at least 1990, the D.C. establishment has extracted tens of millions of legal and illegal migrants — plus temporary visa workers — from poor countries to serve as workers, managers, consumers, and renters for various U.S. investors and CEOs.

This policy of labor inflation makes it difficult for ordinary Americans to get married, advance in their careers, raise families, or buy homes.

Extraction migration slows innovation and shrinks Americans’ productivity, partly because it allows employers to boost stock prices by using cheap stoop labor instead of productivity-boosting technology.

Migration undermines employees’ workplace rights, and it widens the regional wealth gaps between the Democrats’ big coastal states and the Republicans’ heartland and southern states. The flood of cheap labor tilts the economy towards low-productivity jobs and has shoved at least ten million American men out of the labor force.

An economy built on extraction migration also drains Americans’ political clout over elites, alienates young people, and radicalizes Americans’ democratic civic culture because it allows wealthy elites to ignore despairing Americans at the bottom of society.

The economic policy is backed by progressives who wish to transform the U.S. from a society governed by European-origin civic culture into a progressive-directed empire of competitive, resentful identity groups. “We’re trying to become the first multiracial, multi-ethnic superpower in the world,” Rep. Rohit Khanna (D-CA) told the New York Times in March 2022. “It will be an extraordinary achievement … we will ultimately triumph,” he boasted.

The progressives’ colonialism-like economic strategy kills many migrants. It exploits the poverty of migrants and splits foreign families as it extracts human resources from poor home countries to serve wealthy U.S. investors. This migration policy also minimizes shareholder pressure on U.S. companies to build up beneficial and complementary trade with people in poor countries.

Business-backed progressive advocates hide this Extraction Migration economic policy behind a wide variety of noble-sounding explanations and theatrical border security programs. Progressives claim that the U.S. is a “Nation of Immigrants,” that migration is good for migrants, and that the state must renew itself by replacing populations.

Establishment Republicans and major GOP donors hide the wealth shift towards investors by focusing conservative media coverage on border chaos, welfare spending, migrant crime, and drugs.

Many polls show the public wants to welcome some immigration — but they also show a deep and broad public opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates.

This “Third Rail” opposition is growinganti-establishmentmultiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-based,  bipartisanrationalpersistent, and recognizes the solidarity that American citizens owe to one another.

Biden's DHS: Department of Homeland Surrender

Alejandro Mayorkas, architect of DACA, picked by Biden to head DHS.

Mon Dec 7, 2020

On May 5, 2005 the House Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security and Claims conducted a hearing on the topic, New ''Dual Missions'' Of The Immigration Enforcement Agencies.

I was one of the four witnesses who testified at that hearing.

One paragraph in particular from Chairman Hostettler’s statement at that hearing back then, is of particular significance today, as we consider what will happen if Joe Biden is sworn in as President of the United States:

The 9/11 terrorists all came to the United States without weapons or contraband—Added customs enforcement would not have stopped 9/11 from happening. What might have foiled al Qaeda's plan was additional immigration focus, vetting and enforcement. And so what is needed is recognition that, one, immigration is a very important national security issue that cannot take a back seat to customs or agriculture. Two, immigration is a very complex issue, and immigration enforcement agencies need experts in immigration enforcement. And three, the leadership of our immigration agencies should be shielded from political pressures to act in a way which could compromise the Nation's security.

Now we come to Biden’s choice for the vital position of Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas. Remember Biden has pledged to create a massive legalization program for unknown millions of illegal aliens. The DHS enforces and administers America’s immigration laws and thus would bear the responsibility for administering this ill-conceived program.

I addressed my concerns about this amnesty in my earlier piece: "Biden’s 'Build Back Better' is Bunk."

Let’s begin by noting that during the Obama administration Mayorkas was the Director of USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services), an agency that operates under the aegis of the DHS and is responsible for the  adjudication of all of the applications that are filed to accord aliens various immigration benefits. This includes applications for political asylum, change in status for various visa lawful immigrant status, and even United States citizenship.

You can think of USCIS as “America’s Locksmith” because lawful status provides aliens with easy entry into the United States through the “front door” of our nation’s ports of entry.

Mayorkas was notorious for demanding that USCIS adjudicators “Get to yes”- that is to say, approve virtually all applications for various immigration benefits.

It must be noted that immigration fraud was determined by the 9/11 Commission to be the key method of entry and embedding for numerous foreign terrorists operating in the United States.

I wrote about the nexus between immigration fraud and national security in my article: "Immigration Fraud: Lies That Kill - 9/11 Commission identified immigration fraud as a key embedding tactic of terrorists"

On December 20, 2013 a website known then as watchdog.com published a report: "Grassley Rips DHS Nominee Maorkas, E-5 Visa Program." That report began with this statement:

Washington, DC – As Democrats in the filibuster-free U.S. Senate fill key administration vacancies, U.S. Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA) assailed a Department of Homeland Security nominee for playing a key role in aiding Terry McAuliffes electric-car company raise funds through a visa-investor program.

Whistleblowers have provided my office with very troubling evidence. Much of the evidence involves the EB-5 regional center program, which (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Alejandro) Mayorkas is responsible for managing,” charged Grassley, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, which oversees immigration issues.

The evidence appears to support allegations that Mr. Mayorkas and his leadership team at Citizenship and Immigration Services are susceptible to political pressure and favoritism,” the Iowa Republican said.

Grassley said documents appear to show (Mayorkas) intervening in an EB-5 decision involving Gulf Coast Funds Management, an organization run by Hillary Clintons brother, Anthony Rodham.”

So much for Chairman Hostettler's heartfelt concerns about the politicization of immigration law enforcement!

Mayorkas was also the architect of the DACA (Deferred Action, Childhood Arrivals) Program.

Additionally, in 2015, prompted by serious complaints from many USCIS employees, the Office of the Inspector General conducted an investigation into allegations of malfeasance committed by Mayorkas when he was the head of USCIS.

On March 24, 2015 a report of the findings of the investigation by the Office of the Inspector General was released.

The focus was on how applications for a particular visa category, the EB-5 Visa for aliens who invest between 500,000 and 1,000,000 in businesses that creates jobs for Americans in the United States, were wrongly approved.

ABC News published several in-depth articles about the troubling findings of the Office of the Inspector General (OIG).

On March 24, 2015 ABC News reported, “Top Homeland Official Alejandro Mayorkas Accused of Political Favoritism Alejandro Mayorkas oversaw controversial $500,000 visa program.

The above-noted report was preceded by two ABC News reports that were published on February 3, 2015 which illustrate a clear nexus between these visas and national security:

Whistleblowers: US Gave Visas to Suspected Forgers, Fraudsters, Criminals Internal documents show feds ignored warnings from FBI.”  This report began with this excerpt:

Officials overseeing a federal program that offers an immigration short-cut to wealthy foreign investors have ignored pointed warnings from federal agents and approved visas for some immigrants suspected of having committed fraud, money laundering, and even one applicant with alleged ties to a child porn website, an ABC News investigation has found. The shortcomings prompted concerns within the Department of Homeland Security that the boutique immigration program would be exploited by terrorists, according to internal documents obtained by ABC News.

It is shocking,” said Sen. Charles Grassley, an Iowa Republican. Particularly when you have F.B.I. and other law enforcement agencies that are saying national security could be compromised or is being compromised -- that's enough for us to be concerned.”

Feds Investigating Iran Ties to Firm Involved in US Visa Program Documents: Iranian operatives may be abusing program to "infiltrate" U.S.”  This report began with these excerpt:

Federal agents in Los Angeles are investigating an L.A. shipping firm and its Iranian-born owner who for years have participated in and promoted an obscure U.S. immigration program -- allowing the company to recruit wealthy foreign investors to receive visas and potentially Green Cards, law enforcement sources told ABC News.

The companys name surfaced in a confidential Department of Homeland Security government document, which raised concerns that this particular visa program may be abused by Iranian operatives to infiltrate the United States.”

Whistleblowers inside the federal agency that oversees the immigration program told ABC News they have been deeply frustrated by an inability to de-certify the company, even after they became aware of the investigation and saw the companys name surface in an alarming internal Department Homeland Security memo. The memo, shared with ABC News, outlines concerns that Irans Revolutionary Guards have attempted to exploit the visa program to infiltrate the United States.”

The ABC report included this excerpt about one company in particularly, TTC (Total Transportation Concepts):

The records show that the TTC employee was suspected of ties to an Iranian terror network that was involved in bombing plots and attempted assassinations. In 2012, federal investigators sent an email to immigration officials to advise them against re-certifying American Logistics for the immigration program, warning that an approval would likely have serious national security implications.”

I strongly advise against a favorable adjudication,” wrote a Homeland Security Special Agent in the Counter-Proliferation Investigations Center in the April 30, 2012 email.

But agents with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) moved forward and green-lighted American Logistics and Mahdavi, to continue overseeing a designated regional center” for a special U.S. immigration program for wealthy foreigners known by its visa classification, EB-5.

It appears that Biden is not assembling a Cabinet but a syndicate (SINdicate?).

If Biden is inaugurated as President, all that would stand between him and his dangerous plans would be the confirmation process conducted by the U.S. Senate. That is why today all eyes are on the runoff elections for the U.S. Senate in Georgia.

Where the confirmation hearing for Mayorkas is concerned, the Senate must “Get to no!”

Biden's Deathly Presidency

By Jeffrey Folks

For four years under President Trump, America enjoyed peace, security, and unparalleled prosperity.  Trump's presidency was a historic era of good times in which we began to regain faith in the American Dream.  Now we have the nightmare, and the death and destruction that go with it.

Yes, the Trump Era was prosperous, with historically low unemployment rates, low inflation, energy independence, and rising wages.  But aside from that, the most important thing about Trump's presidency was the fact that Americans were secure, as they had not been under Obama and certainly are not under Biden.  Under Trump, America was in so many senses vibrant and "alive" with pride in our country and hope for its future.

Now we have regular mass shootings in which citizens disarmed by the State have no way to defend themselves.  Overseas, we have a war in Ukraine, the threat of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan, and Iran developing nuclear weapons with the encouragement of the Biden administration.  The common thread is death and the fear that goes with it.  And this does not even include Biden's aggressive defense of abortion on demand.

Under President Trump, I lived without fear.  I knew that Trump supported my right to defend my home and that he supported the police who defended me as well.  Just having the president and his administration on my side made me breathe easier.  America was moving in the right direction, as was confirmed by every opinion poll during Trump's time in office before COVID was unleashed.

Long-term death rates are more a matter of demographics than policy, and they have been rising ever since Obama took office in 2008.  But murder rates, deaths in war and civil unrest, drug overdose deaths, and accidental deaths are attributable to policy, and they have been rising under Biden, even during his short time in office.  Under Biden, the U.S. murder rate, which had been declining under President Trump, is the highest in 25 years.  According to former N.Y. police commissioner Howard Safir, the spike in violence is partly attributable to lack of support for police and soft-on-crime prosecutors.  And it is Biden, with his anti-police rhetoric and refusal to prosecute (as in the case of those picketing Justice Kavanaugh's home), who is responsible for this climate of anarchy.

Now I plan my trips carefully, avoid eye contact with strangers, and carry only a driver's license and credit card.  I drive inconspicuously as well, given the explosion of road rage incidents.

The most galling thing is that Biden never says a word about the victims of crime unless he can twist the incident into an anti-gun lecture, and he takes no action to protect anyone, especially law-abiding citizens in middle-class neighborhoods like my own.  In this and so many other ways, he seems on the side of those who wish to destroy us.  It's no accident that murder rates are spiraling at home and war is breaking out overseas.  Both are a response to Biden's weakness, and death is the consequence.

I fear there will be more death ahead.  I expect an invasion in Taiwan, Moldova, or Finland, and new outbreaks of violence in the Middle East involving either Iran or its surrogates.  The incomprehensible Iran deal, which Biden is pushing, would "make Biden 'the biggest funder of terrorism in the world,'" according to Rep. Jim Banks.  "Terrorism" is not just a derogatory word; it is the act of murdering innocent human beings, including women and children.  Hasn't that fact entered into Biden's Iran deal calculations?

Biden's weakness has emboldened our enemies, and their actions pose a threat to our security.  This is the way major wars begin.  They can be prevented only by the projection of force of the kind we saw under President Trump, and Biden projects about as much force as a lady's fan.  His weakness will get us into another war, and our young men and women will die in that war.  There is death hanging over us, and Biden seems oblivious, fumbling with his note cards to find some kind of answer.

There is a new national mood in America unlike anything I've seen since the 1960s: a sense of foreboding and caution based on the very real threat of violence and collapse.  There are more threats to our country, including the wealth destruction of inflation, to which Biden simply rolls his eyes, chuckles, and whispers some idiotic riposte.  There are more criminal gangs, and Biden just welcomes more in.  There is more road rage, more random shooting, more felons out on no bond/low bond.  And there is a callous and brutal disregard for the lives of the unborn.

In response to the mounting violence, Biden seems remote, fuddling with his microphone like a man slipping into dementia, and those around him seem inept, if not callous, including his new press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, who is said to have "frequently stumbled" during her first weeks.  A president who is weak and advisers who are incompetent and anti-American to boot — that is a recipe for disaster, and disaster will end, as it always does, in poverty, destruction, and death.

There are bullies in the world who watched as Biden stumbled out of Afghanistan, and bullies don't have much respect for doddering fools who just want to survive a four-year term and leave a mess for someone else to clean up.

As a citizen, it is difficult to watch my country besieged by violence.  Biden's presidency has been deadly in every respect: turning off economic growth and imposing environmental restrictions, proposing inflation-adjusted cuts in national defense while paying off student loans, and putting citizens at risk with his anti-police rhetoric.

There is little chance of a second Biden term, but just another two and a half years is painful to imagine.  How many thousands will lose their lives because of one incompetent and wrong-headed leader?  How far will America go into danger and destruction?  And how much more difficult will it be for our next president, Trump or a Trump lookalike, to repair the damage and Make America Safe Again?

Jeffrey Folks is the author of many books and articles on American culture including Heartland of the Imagination (2011).

The same continent-wide superstate was pushed in 2001 by President G.W. Bush and Mexico’s then-president, Vicente Fox. Their unpopular “Any Willing Worker” plan would have allowed U.S. employers to easily import low-wage employees from central and south America. It was derailed following the 9/11 attack.
