Alyssa Farah Griffin: Trump ‘Honestly Is Worried that He Will End Up in Jail’
CNN political analyst Alyssa Farah Griffin said Tuesday on CNN’s “News Central” that former President Donald Trump’s Christmas message shows he is “worried that he will end up in jail.”
Farah Griffin said, “Listen, it’s kind of vintage Donald Trump. He is known for these kinds of unhinged holiday rants, and then he follows up with a clip of him on Home Alone 2.”
She continued, “Listen, it shows that Jack Smith lives in his head in a very big way. He is very concerned about the DOJ investigation into the events around January 6. This is the driving force behind his political campaign. As much as his campaign advisers would want it to be the economy, jobs, foreign policy, he keeps going back to the fact that he honestly is worried that he will end up in jail. He needs to get elected president to pardon himself. So kind of his true colors are showing when he makes it all about Jack Smith and then puts a bow on it with the old ‘Rot in hell’ at the end.”
Farah Griffin added, “We are still in a primary season, the juxtaposition of my party, and not a single vote has been technically cast yet, and we are very much careening into running somebody who will likely lose head-to-head to Joe Biden only because he cannot get out of his own way. The messaging and the rhetoric and the extremist policies, and we are not litigating a lot of what he has laid out for the second term agenda, but he is talking about internment camps, mass deportation and punishing former staffers, and that is un-American.”

Top 5 Revelations from Biden Family Probe in 2023
House investigators worked overtime in 2023 to investigate the massive web of wire transfers, 20 shell companies, and associates who helped the Biden family business raked in at least $24 million from foreign nationals over the course of approximately five years.
Below are the top five 2023 revelations from the House investigation into President Joe Biden, along with James and Hunter Biden:
1) James Comer: Joe Biden Received $40,000 in China Money Again Disguised as Loan Repayment
Joe Biden received $40,000 in laundered CEFC China Energy Co. money in 2017 from the account of his brother, James Biden, and sister-in-law, Sara Biden, once again in the form of a personal check labeled as a “loan repayment,” House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) uncovered in November.
- The revelation is the second instance Joe Biden personally accepted a suspicious personal check from his brother James, who was involved in the Biden family’s overseas business ventures. Joe Biden has denied any involvement in Biden family business ventures at least nine times.
- The discovery justifies concerns raised by Republicans that the Biden business compromised Joe Biden. It also lends further credence to the impeachment inquiry into the president.
2) James Comer: FBI Tipped off Hunter Biden to Interview, Confirming IRS Whistleblowers
FBI officials tipped off Hunter Biden in the Bureau’s criminal probe of him and told a former FBI supervisory special agent to stand by and not approach him, Comer announced in July, confirming key portions of the IRS whistle blower allegations.
- Upon sitting for a transcribed interview with the committee, the former FBI agent told the committee that FBI officials in December 2020 tipped off both the Secret Service and the Biden transition team about a scheduled interview about its criminal investigation into Hunter Biden.
- The FBI agent said because of the tipoff, the agent never interviewed Hunter Biden.
3) James Comer: Joe Biden Received ‘Direct Monthly Payments’ from Hunter’s ‘Owasco PC’ Business Account
Joe Biden received “direct monthly payments” from Hunter Biden’s “Owasco PC” business account, which received “payments from Chinese state-linked companies and other foreign nationals and companies,” Comer told Breitbart News in December.
- Comer’s revelation amplifies concerns raised by Republicans that Joe Biden is compromised. It also provides more evidence to support an impeachment inquiry into the president.
- An Oversight Committee aide told Breitbart News the committee is aware of at least three monthly payments for $1,380.
4) James Comer Names the nine Biden Family Members Who Got Business Payments
In May, Comer named the previously undisclosed Biden family members who received payments from the family’s foreign business ventures.

5) Chuck Grassley Releases FBI Record Alleging VP Joe Biden Foreign Bribery Scheme
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) released an FBI informant record in July that alleged Joe Biden and Hunter Biden each received $5 million from Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma Holdings after Joe Biden threatened to withhold aid to Ukraine until President Petro Poroshenko fired a prosecutor investigating Burisma.
- Grassley said he acquired the FD-1023 form by legally protected disclosures from Justice Department whistle blowers.
- The FBI previously allowed lawmakers to review the unclassified document after much arm-twisting by Comer. But it refused to make the form public.

Report: Biden Administration Officials Tried to Hide Chinese Spy Balloon Incident
The Biden administration hoped to keep the Chinese spy balloon incident a secret and let the device move along without alerting anyone, NBC News revealed Friday.
On January 27, a phone call happened between Gen. Mark Milley and NORAD chief Gen. Glen VanHerck, Fox News reported Saturday.

The outlet cited the NBC News report that said the administration initially wanted to hide the device from Congress and the public.
“Before it was spotted publicly, there was the intention to study it and let it pass over and not ever tell anyone about it,” a former official explained to NBC News.
The outlet continued:
A senior Biden administration denied that there was an attempt to keep the balloon secret. “To the extent any of this was kept quiet at all, that was in large part to protect intel equities related to finding and tracking” the official said, referring to intelligence gathering on the balloon. “There was no intention to keep this from Congress at any point.”
Soon after VanHerck’s phone call with Milley, U.S. military jets dispatched from Alaska used their targeting pods to determine what was on board the object. They confirmed that it was a Chinese spy balloon that was not carrying offensive weapons but was outfitted with a large payload of surveillance equipment.
President Joe Biden (D) eventually had the balloon, which traveled across the continental United States, shot down after it reportedly collected intelligence from sensitive military sites, Breitbart News reported.
“The balloon was not shot down until February 4 — after it had made a several day journey across the states and potentially over other sensitive military sites and exited over South Carolina to the Atlantic Ocean,” the outlet stated in April.

In June, Biden reportedly revealed “sensitive” U.S. intelligence regarding China during an event with American donors.
“At the fundraiser in California, Biden revealed to attendees what the U.S. intelligence agencies had learned about the Chinese spy balloon incident earlier this year, reportedly surprising U.S. officials,” Breitbart News reported.
Japanese Corp. Trying to Buy U.S. Steel Has Manufacturing Plants Across China
The Japanese company trying to purchase the United States Steel Corporation has manufacturing bases in China. The revelation raises more national security concerns as President Joe Biden has yet to commit to blocking the acquisition.
As Breitbart News reported, executives with U.S. Steel and Nippon Steel Corporation announced the nearly $15 billion deal, which would have the iconic American steel giant sold off to the Japanese company.
The deal is significant as U.S. Steel, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, played a critical role in the nation’s “Arsenal of Democracy” during World War II, which ultimately saw the Allied powers defeat the Axis, which included Imperial Japan.
A letter sent to Biden officials from Sens. John Fetterman (D-PA), Bob Casey (D-PA), and Rep. Chris Deluzio (D-PA) notes that Nippon “has facilities in the People’s Republic of China, a foreign adversary of the U.S.”
Indeed, Nippon lists multiple “manufacturing bases” in China on its site, including in the cities of Suzhou and Wuhan. Elsewhere in Asia, Nippon has plants in Brunei, India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Biden economic adviser Lael Brainard said U.S. Steel’s sale to Nippon deserves “serious scrutiny” from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), which Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen chairs.
“This looks like the type of transaction that the interagency committee on foreign investment Congress empowered and the Biden administration strengthened is set up to carefully investigate,” Brainard said. “This administration will be ready to look carefully at the findings of any such investigation and to act if appropriate.”
The United Steelworkers (USW) are lobbying lawmakers and the Biden administration to block the deal, saying they were not considered in negotiations and that foreign ownership of U.S. Steel puts their union workers’ contracts in peril.
“U.S. Steel has made it clear, time and again, that its first and only priority is short-term financial gain for shareholders, even if this comes at the expense of workers, their communities, and the nation’s lasting capacity to continue meeting its manufacturing needs,” USW President David McCall said.

The paid agent behind the Oval Office desk
Via John Hinderaker of Power Line, Andy McCarthy at National Review has a stunning piece outlining the depths of Joe Biden's involvement as China's little agent, tying together details which will make you wanting to take a shower afterward.
He writes:
Thanks to the extensive excavation of Biden financial records by Senators Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R., Wis.), followed by the dogged reporting of the New York Post once Hunter’s abandoned laptop was exposed, the outlines of the story were publicly available before Election Day 2020. The Biden/China scheme may not have been sufficiently known, but it was eminently knowable — so much so that I presented it in detail in “A Collusion Tale: China and the Bidens,” which we published on October 31, 2020 — the weekend before the election.
The story has gotten more damning with the additional evidence unearthed by the Oversight Committee under the direction of Chairman James Comer (R., Ky.). But it hasn’t changed.
CEFC, the Shanghai-based energy conglomerate with which Joe Biden and his family joined forces, was China. To describe it as a “thinly veiled” arm of Xi Jinping’s monstrous regime would exaggerate the camouflage. It was run by Ye Jianming, whom the Bidens deemed a protégé of Xi — as the president’s brother, Jim Biden, conceded to federal investigators.
How could it be otherwise? As I recounted in October 2020, CEFC’s position as a privileged “private” company was established by the regime in 2006 (when Xi was the rising star of the CCP).
The fake Chinese front company disappeared from view along with its agents, as soon as its activities got brazen enough for lawmen to start examining them -- in an instant. But the Bidens had already gotten their money, and performed their services, and it was a lot of money -- big $10,000,000 amounts. The Chinese not only used the Bidens to find out little things like what the FBI had on their agents, they also used it to muscle other countries to jump onboard with their One Belt, One Road initiative and other projects, letting them know that they already had the Bidens in their pocket so there was no protection out there for them:
This, of course, is why the Biden connection was so valuable — why CEFC was willing to pay millions of dollars for it. Doors were opened by the association with Joe Biden, one of America’s most prominent, influential politicians. If CEFC could brandish cordial relations and a business partnership with the Biden family, then other targets of China’s OBOR blandishments would be more willing to transact.
China is famous for getting the hooks in in a string of third world nations, all of which have become remarkably uncooperative with the U.S., and not even interested in making alliances with it any more. We've lost influence as joining in the China-led BRICS bloc has become the hot new thing.
Does it sound like Joe Biden has undermined our international interests with his takings from the Chinese regime, all to buy those mansions and fancy cars? Somehow, the U.S. doesn't have the influence it used to have internationally, and it's not just because of President Obama's constant apology tours. It was having Joe on their string that pretty well negated the U.S. as a global player. It also doesn't help that with Joe around, we also lose wars and sport wokester troops on hormone treatments, wearing makeup and dresses.
I'd still like to know what Hunter Biden did with that diamond the Chinese agents presented him with, likely to avoid bank monitoring laws.
Acting as an agent of a foreign regime while in public office is treason by anyone's definition. It's also an impeachable offense, as is bribery, according to the Constitution's Article II, Section 4:
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
Where's the impeachment of this one, given the clarity of the charges?
Previous House Speaker Kevin McCarthy hemmed and hawed on it, believing perhaps that because past presidential impeachments have been on trivial matters and have always failed, this one wouldn't be any different.
But it is different, with millions of dollars changing hands and U.S. influence waning significantly. If this isn't dealt with in Congress, the stage will be set for any elected leader to do the same. Now that the facts are known, Andy McCarthy argues, that Joe cannot escape his China scandal paper trail at the very least. One hopes that he is right because the bribery and treason here couldn't be more real.
