A recent University of Chicago Institute of Politics poll showed that a majority of Americans think our government is corrupt and rigged against them. And almost a third of respondents also feel it may eventually be necessary to take up arms against the evil empire currently running the show.
Subtract from that poll the bleeding-heart libs who think feelings matter more than facts, and the numbers are scarier still.
Big Government, including their toadies in the mainstream media, has clearly blown its cover. And it appears, based on this poll, that the American people are mad as hell and not gonna take it anymore.
Why have so many lost faith in our government to the point that armed rebellion is being considered?
Double standards, that’s why. Americans see them and they’re rightfully furious.
They see the despicable treatment afforded President Trump, whose term in office surely seems like the good old days when compared to the turmoil Democrats have unleashed in just a year and a half at the helm.
They watched the press question Trump’s mental fitness and acuity while staunchly supporting the corrupt, dried-up turnip currently occupying the Oval Office.
They observed the media constantly demonizing Trump’s family and then totally supporting “Dr.” Jill and the hapless, hopeless Biden spawn.
They’ve seen every aspect of the Donald’s financial dealings examined with a fine-tooth comb, while the Big Guy (Hunter’s nickname for Crusty Joe) gets half of his crack and sex-addled son’s ill-gotten millions with impunity.
They’ve watched the FBI run multiple coups against both candidate and President Trump, while sitting on the treasure trove of Biden family criminality contained in Hunter’s laptop, which the Feebs have been “investigating” for two and a half years now.
They’ve observed how law enforcement looked the other way as BLMers peacefully rioted, taking lives, ruining businesses, and causing billions of dollars in damage -- all this while authorities pretend that January 6 was another Pearl Harbor, instead of a relatively small dustup where the crowd was rife with Feds, officers obligingly opened the doors to the Capitol, and the only person killed was an unarmed woman, shot to death with impunity by a cop.
They see criminals, perverts and drug dealers released without bail to continue their wicked ways while the Jan. 6th defendants rot in D.C. jails, their Constitutional rights suspended and their personal lives ruined.
They’ve watched in stunned silence as Democrats and the Deep State pulled every dirty trick in the book on President Trump, while the Republican members of the D.C. Uni-Party sat silent or, as in the case of Cheney and Kinzinger, eagerly concurred.
They’ve listened as Hollywood, the media, and academia all denigrated Trump’s burning desire to make America great again, at the same time supporting the notion that our country is a racist, sexist, xenophobic hellhole, and always has been.
They’ve undoubtedly noticed that Democrats, with the help of Big Tech and many millions of Zucker-bucks, made it incredibly easy to cheat in the last election; yet Trump has been portrayed as a psychopathic monster for pointing out that he was clearly jobbed out of a second term.
They watched President Trump fight the COVID-19 pandemic with all his might, even as wee Dr. Fauci and Dr. Scarf purposely undermined his efforts with their lies, double-talk and obfuscation. While Trump fought the good fight, white-coated bureaucrats and their pals in Big Pharma got incredibly wealthy.
They watched Trump castigate China for loosing COVID-19 upon the world, causing millions of needless deaths, even as the NBA, Hollywood, influential leaders of both parties, and the Biden Crime Family all filled their pockets with yauns while defending the fine folks of the Chinese Communist Party.
They surely observed how President Trump’s policies lifted all financial boats, setting records for black and Hispanic employment, while the Swamp was busy calling Trump and his supporters irredeemable racists.
They couldn’t help but notice how Trump was deemed a scoundrel for pointing out that women generally allowed him easy sexual access because he was a wealthy celebrity. But those same folks upset with Trump’s statement of fact, were totally incurious about our current demented president’s fondness for touching, fondling, and smelling small children; nor did they show any interest in reports that Creepy Joe took showers with his young daughter, who then became a promiscuous young woman and an addict.
They surely took note of Trump’s incredible energy in his old age, how quick he was to travel the world, campaign for his undeserving party, and speak to reporters. It must have been shocking then to see Senile Joe garble his words, hide from the press, and spend long weekends out of sight and out of mind in Delaware, all this while falling up stairs and off his bicycle.
They also noted how firm President Trump was with other countries, telling Germany to pony up for NATO, forcing Mexico to stop enabling illegal immigration with financial penalties, and reducing IRGC general Qasem Suleimani to a grease stain on the desert floor for threatening U.S. soldiers and diplomats. Now, of course, they watch as Iran plays Biden’s diplomats for fools, Russia feels secure enough in Biden’s impotence to start a war, and the Saudis laugh in the doddering old fool’s face when Biden comes begging for more oil.
They could see that President Trump made the U.S. energy independent, creating jobs and prosperity for everyone; while the current administration has crushed the energy industry, making gas and oil unaffordable for the common man, even as the climate-change crusaders fly around in private jets, party maskless during a pandemic, and buy up oceanfront mansions.
They watched Donald Trump become the first president to stand up for the rights of unborn babies and choose like-minded justices for the Supreme Court; this followed by an administration vowing to use all means, legal and extralegal, to facilitate the dismemberment of unborn innocents, not to mention choosing a Supreme Court justice solely on the basis of her genitalia and skin color.
They observed Trump praising and building up our military might, even as turncoats like General Mark “White Rage” Milley and Col. Alexander Vindman, surely the softest Ranger ever, purposely undermined their commander-in-chief by providing comfort to the enemy and conspiring to impeach the president, respectively.
In summation, it’s clear to me and anyone with eyes to see why a majority of Americans thinks our government is rotten to the core, and why many think a second American Revolution may be necessary to restore integrity in government. What’s not clear is why anyone who’s lived through the obvious double standards I just enumerated, doesn’t feel that way.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) was reported this week to have begun a criminal investigation of former President Donald Trump in connection with his effort to contest the 2020 election.
Also this week, the DOJ was accused of having spiked its own investigation of President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, based on false clams that reports of his misconduct were just “disinformation.” And last week, the DOJ convinced a D.C. jury to convict Stephen K. Bannon, a Trump associate and former Breitbart News executive chairman, for contempt of Congress.
Notably, the DOJ declined to prosecute past left-wing offenders for the same crime — such as Lois Lerner, the former IRS official who targeted conservative groups; and former Attorney General Eric Holder, who refused to provide Congress with information about Operation Fast & Furious, a gunrunning fiasco that led to the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.
And few at DOJ were punished for the “Russia collusion” hoax, a partisan operation that involved lying to the FISA court.
We are witnessing the transformation of the DOJ into an arm of the Democratic Party.
There have always been a few partisan prosecutors, but the political corruption began in earnest under President Barack Obama, who declined to prosecute members of the New Black Panther Party for voter intimidation; gave millions of dollars to left-wing groups from DOJ fines; and imposed DOJ consent decrees on police in Democrat-run cities to appease Black Lives Matter.
In 2016, the DOJ attempted to influence the presidential election in several ways — first, by declining to prosecute former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in open-and-shut cases of mishandling classified information; second, by investigating Trump for “Russia collusion”; and third, by trying to sanitize the anticipated Hillary Clinton presidency by reopening the inquiry into her emails — a move that backfired spectacularly.
The “Russia collusion” probe continued into the Trump era, fueling efforts to undo the results of a democratic election, and arguably denting Trump’s ability to conduct foreign policy.
Throughout the left-wing riots that gripped the country in 2020, the DOJ was remarkably passive. Attorney General William Barr directed law enforcement on the streets of D.C. as Black Lives Matter and Antifa attacked the White House, but FBI Director Christopher Wray led efforts to deny that Antifa was a threat, insisting it was an “ideology,” not an organization.
The DOJ seemed to shrug at the riots that raged in 48 out of 50 major U.S. cities. And it dithered for years after Hunter Biden’s influence-peddling came to light. The FBI did nothing about his laptop, which it seemed to have seized in 2019 to cover up the story rather than to follow up on evidence of corruption at the highest level.
But after the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, the DOJ prosecuted participants aggressively even for minor offenses, and detained non-violent suspects for months.
Now comes the news that Trump is being investigated by the DOJ in connection with January 6 — reportedly for “seditious conspiracy and conspiracy to obstruct a government proceeding” and “potential fraud associated with the false-electors scheme” or efforts to pressure officials to claim the election was fraudulent.
The timing of the news gave undue legitimacy to the January 6 Committee, a one-sided, arguably unlawful and unconstitutional show trial with obvious political motivations.
The DOJ inquiry is supposedly independent of the January 6 Committee, but there have already been reports that the DOJ has asked the Committee to hand over transcripts of witness depositions — given behind closed doors, and with few of the basic protections they would ordinarily have in a criminal inquiry.
In effect, the DOJ appears to have deputized the committee to carry out its own law enforcement functions — a violation of the Constitution’s separation of powers and the Bill of Rights.
After months of investigation, and more than 1,000 witnesses, the committee turned up nothing on Trump except the claim that he should have done more, or acted sooner, to stop the riot.
Trump did what many of the Democrats on the committee had done themselves: oppose the certification of electors from states where the results were controversial. He also organized a protest to influence a Congressional vote — an activity guaranteed by the protections of the First Amendment.
Notably, the DOJ is declining to prosecute the left-wing protesters who have besieged the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices in an effort to pressure them on the abortion issue — despite a specific federal law barring such protests as an exception to the First Amendment because they represent a threat to impartial justice and an independent judiciary.
The DOJ’s indulgence was followed by an attempt on the life of Justice Brett Kavanaugh by a leftist who, luckily, called 911 on himself.
Both President Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland promised to “depoliticize” the DOJ, referring to the bogus claims by Democrats that Trump “politicized” it because Barr would not break federal law and hand over grand jury materials to Democrats desperate to smear Trump.
It was Trump, actually, who depoliticized the DOJ — or tried to, though he ran into the resistance of careerists and holdovers who were willing to break the law in their effort to undermine his presidency.
Garland told NBC News that the DOJ would not hesitate to prosecute Trump even if he were a candidate for president in 2024. That is the right policy — though the DOJ did not apply it to Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden. Worse, it followed Hillary Clinton’s lead in smearing and spying on her opponent, and covered up legitimate questions about Biden’s conflicts of interest. To this day, the perpetrators of the “Russia collusion” hoax remain unpunished for what was, in effect, a silent coup attempt.
Now the DOJ is apparently trying to find a way to put Trump behind bars, and satisfy the Democrats’ lust for revenge for 2016. This is what happens in Third World countries.
I witnessed it happening in my native South Africa, where the ruling clique began using petty investigations to discredit the opposition and internal rivals. Today, South Africa is on the verge of being a failed state.
The political corruption of the DOJ is likewise undermining faith in the rule of law; it must be stopped.

H unter Biden is currently under federal investigation by Joe Biden’s Justice Department for tax fraud, money laundering, and violation of lobbying laws, the New York Times reported. Hunter has reportedly been trying to settle the case out of court, paying $1 million to the IRS to evade conviction or a possibly long sentence.
China’s purchases of American homes and land are a “huge problem,” Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said in an interview.
Ron DeSantis made the remark after the news surfaced in a National Association of Realtors (NAR) report that China is the biggest investor in the United States real estate market, gobbling up $6.1 billion worth of homes and land last year.
“I don’t think they should be able to do it,” DeSantis said on a Fox News program .
“I think the problem is these companies have ties to the CCP, and it’s not always apparent on the face of whatever a company is doing — but I think it’s a huge problem,” DeSantis said.
NewsMax reported that the U.S. Department of Agriculture in 2019 revealed that Chinese-linked entities owned at least 192,000 acres of American farmland worth more than $1.9 billion.

Chinese Biggest Investor in U.S. Real Estate Last Year – $6.1 Billion on Homes in Florida, California
The Chinese are snapping up real estate in the United States, including $6.1 billion in homes and land last year.
Those buyers include the Chinese Communist Party, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, the U.S. real estate market report from the National Association of Realtors (NAR) showed .
The investors spent an average of $1 million per property transaction, with nearly 31 percent of the purchases involving property in California, according to the report.
The New York Post reported on the NAR report:
Earlier this week, senior economists warned that the US housing market could be on the verge of a “meltdown” following this week’s release of data showing a collapse in home builder confidence in July.
U.S. home builder confidence plummeted 12 points to 55 in July, according to the latest data from the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index released Monday.
“Due to rising interest rates, overall home sales will decline in the US this year,” said NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun said in the Post report. “Foreign buyers, however, are likely to step up purchases, as those making all-cash offers will be immune from changes in interest rates.”
“In addition, international flights have increased in recent months with the lifting of pandemic-related travel restrictions,” Yun said.
Other top investors in U.S. real estate, in order from second, are Canada ($5.5 billion), India ($3.6 billion), Mexico ($2.9 billion), and Brazil ($1.6 billion).

Florida accounted for 24 percent of all international real estate purchases in the U.S., with California ranked second at 11 percent.

Lawmakers are concerned about a Chinese company’s purchase of farmland in North Dakota just miles away from Grand Forks Air Force Base where sensitive drone technology is housed.
Fufeng Group, a Shandong, China-based company, which produces flavor enhancers and sugar substitutes, recently purchased 300 acres in the state.
Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) expressed opposition to the sale and sees the company as a front for the Chinese government.
“I think we grossly under appreciate how effective they are at collecting information, collecting data, using it in nefarious ways,” Cramer told CNBC. “And so I’d just as soon not have the Chinese Communist Party doing business in my back yard.”
Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), who chairs the powerful Senate Intelligence Committee, echoed that sentiment.
“The Senate Intelligence Committee has been loudly sounding the alarm about the counterintelligence threat posed by the (People’s Republic of China),” Warner said in New York Post report. “We should be seriously concerned about Chinese investment in locations close to sensitive sites, such as military bases around the U.S.”

Fufeng Group said it is planning to use the land to build a $700 million corn milling plant that would create at least 200 jobs as well as residual opportunities for logistics, trucking, and other services.
But U.S. military officials are raising the alarm nonetheless. Senior Air Force officers circulated a memo in April warning that the presence of Fufeng Group in Grand Forks, a town of just 60,000 people, was a national security threat.
A Chinese firm with close proximity to such data “would present a costly national security risk causing grave damage to United States’ strategic advantages.”
“Some of the most sensitive elements of Grand Forks exist with the digital uplinks and downlinks inherent with unmanned air systems and their interaction with space-based assets,” wrote U.S. Air Force Maj. Jeremy Fox.
The Post reported three North Dakotans sold the land to Fufeng Group for $2.6 million, according to CNBC.
AgDaily reported that lawmakers are trying to advance a bill through Congress that would bar foreign entities, including China, Iran, Russia, and North Korea, from buying up American farmland.

Bio-weapons are being developed that use specific DNA to target and kill individuals through their medical profile, a Democrat member of the U.S. House Intelligence Committee warned Friday.
Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO), a U.S. Army veteran, used the Aspen Security Forum to warn Americans to be more judicious about sharing their DNA with private companies due to the coming of new bioweapon types.
His call is a repeat of one made in 2019 when concerns about China acquiring the DNA of American service members prompted the Pentagon to issue an advisory to the entire force against using commercial popular DNA testing kits to trace one’s ancestry.
“You can actually take someone’s DNA, take, you know, their medical profile and you can target a biological weapon that will kill that person or take them off the battlefield or make them inoperable,” Crow, from Colorado, reportedly said.
The congressman said the development of sophisticated bioweapons is worrisome given the popularity of DNA testing services, where people willingly share their genetic mapping with businesses to gain insight on their genealogy and health, the Daily Mail reports .

“You can’t have a discussion about this without talking about privacy and the protection of commercial data because expectations of privacy have degraded over the last 20 years,” the Democratic lawmaker said.
“Young folks actually have very little expectation of privacy, that’s what the polling and the data show.”
Crow, a former Army Ranger who served three tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, continued: “People will very rapidly spit into a cup and send it to 23andMe and get really interesting data about their background.”
“And guess what? Their DNA is now owned by a private company. It can be sold off with very little intellectual property protection or privacy protection and we don’t have legal and regulatory regimes to deal with that.”
Crow went on to counsel that “an open and public discussion about… what the protection of healthcare information, DNA information, and your data look like because that data is actually going to be procured and collected by our adversaries for the development of these systems.”
DNA service provider 23andMe has repeatedly stated it does not sell off customers’ private information.
This is not the first time DNA testing has been called into question as a personal security risk.
Concerns about China acquiring the DNA of American service members prompted the Pentagon to issue an advisory in late 2019 to the entire force against using commercial popular DNA testing kits to find out one’s ancestry, Breitbart News reported .
“There is increased concern in the scientific community that outside parties are exploiting the use of genetic data for questionable purposes, including mass surveillance and the ability to track individuals without their authorization or awareness,” the Pentagon said in its December 20, 2019, advisory first reported by Yahoo News.
However, neither the memo or the Yahoo News report specifically mentioned China as the main concern.
But two congressional sources told Breitbart News the Pentagon’s warning was prompted by concern over China’s efforts to obtain DNA and other personal health information from companies popular in the U.S.

The meaning of weiqi , the ancient Chinese game of strategy, is ‘encirclement game.’ But in weiqi it isn’t enough to surround enemy stones to capture ground. It’s vital to have some of your stones within enemy territory. When you then lay siege, swathes of the board fall with no fighting. China’s leaders, strategists, and generals swear by Sun Tzu and weiqi : they combine the lessons of the philosopher’s Art of War with principles of the game to win without fighting, deploying long-term plans and deception, skirmishing on many fronts, and creating outposts hidden in plain sight.
One such outpost, an agro-industrial plant of China’s Fufeng group, is in the development stages on American soil – in Grand Forks, North Dakota, to be precise. It’s 13 miles from the Grand Forks Air Force Base (GFAFB) and 85 miles from the Cavalier Space Force Station. This is the Great Plains region, so uninterrupted lines of sight make visual and electronic surveillance of the base and station uncomplicated. Given China’s ambition to dominate the world and its ingrained culture of war by deception, it would be naïve to think the plant won’t be used for espionage.
The patriots of Grand Forks, against tremendous resistance from the administration, are campaigning for a referendum against the plant. Some of them have faced intimidating visits from the FBI and police. Hopefully, the rest of America will wake up to their clarion call and thwart this Chinese intelligence bastion disguised as a corn mill. But the question is, how was the Fufeng plant able to avoid closer scrutiny? And why are the authorities bearing down on those opposing what should never have been allowed in the first place?
For decades, China has been growing its front of influence in the U.S., as in other countries, by working at the local level to evade federal concerns with national security and defense. It has found state- and city-level politicians and non-governmental agents vulnerable to inducement and the seduction of economic opportunities in their regions. It has furthered its goals, circumventing unfavorable federal legislation by subverting the subnational system with cultural, school-to-school, business-to-business, and local governmental exchange programs.
A telling demonstration of this was seen during Xi Jinping’s first visit to the U.S. as general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in 2015. He made appearances at the Obama White House and the U.N., but his high-priority stop was at the China-U.S. Governors Forum in Seattle, where for two days he held focused meetings with state and local government office-holders and business leaders.
Chinese influence in North Dakota dates back more than a decade. In 2010, the state’s then lieutenant governor, Jack Dalrymple, who owned stock in one of the largest national oil companies in China, led a delegation to China to foster education and business deals, including plans for a Confucius Institute at Dickinson State University, ND. In 2012, the university was exposed as a diploma mill that handed out degrees to hundreds of foreign students, mainly from China. An audit uncovered visa violations, false enrollments, fake grades and financial wrongdoing. Security risks can well be imagined.
BEK TV, a news channel in Bismarck, has made a detailed investigation of this process of subnational subversion, tracing its history from the time President Nixon may have opened the door to the Chinese. Its special report, China Conquest, Inside Job , exposes the politics and other circumstances that led to the acquisition of 350 acres of prime farmland near key defense facilities for the Fufeng plant, presenting a microcosmic view of China’s delusive strategy in action. The channel supports citizens’ opposition to this insidious security threat.
The Fufeng Group – it’s nearly impossible to find its net worth online – is a major producer of xanthan gum, fertilizer, starch and sugar substitutes, with five plants in mainland China. Fufeng USA, its American subsidiary, is a global leader in bio-fermentation for animal feed. It has offices in Chicago, and is establishing headquarters in Grand Forks, allegedly for agribusiness.
In June, the Grand Forks City Council approved annexation of property far north of traditional corn country, and a distance from the city, for the $700-million Fufeng corn mill. A CCP-tied development project beyond the cornfields in close proximity to defense bases should have raised suspicion. But city leaders promoted the project as a source of millions in development money and hundreds of new jobs. The site is outside Grand Forks limits, so annexation was necessary for the city to legally provide infrastructure services.
Citizens feel betrayed about being kept in the dark. Their concerns about espionage and surveillance aren’t exaggerated. The GFAFB hosts the 319th Reconnaissance Wing, which operates RQ-4 Global Hawks (remotely piloted aircraft used for intelligence and surveillance) and supports air mobility, major weapons systems, conventional and nuclear plants, and a group equipped with Minuteman 3 ICBMs. The GFAFB also maintains a global communication network for the air force, so there is considerable potential for sabotage.
Republican Senator Kevin Cramer and Senate Intelligence Committee leaders Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Mark Warner (D-VA) have objected to the project. Top military brass warned the committee that the corn mill presented an excellent opportunity for the Chinese to perform intelligence, signals, and humint collection. In a press interview, Cramer said, “I think we grossly under-appreciate how effective they (China) are at collecting information, collecting data, using it in nefarious ways.” FBI director Christopher Wray, too, warns that Chinese companies are Trojan horses. BEK TV quoted him saying that Chinese companies must comply with CCP policy, and no one gets to a position of wealth and influence in China without bending to the CCP and having its representative(s) on their company board.
A May 26 report of the U.S. China Economic and Security Review Commission raised concerns about China’s investments in America’s Ag sector (over 200,000 acres). It quotes USAF Major Jeremy Fox: “Some of the most sensitive elements of Fufeng’s plan in Grand Forks exist within the digital uplinks and downlinks inherent with unmanned air systems and their interaction with space-based assets.” The report concluded that potential surveillance by the CCP-linked company could damage U.S. strategic advantages.
Citizens contend that defense authorities, the FBI, and base commanders were not contacted about the project and that local media enthusiastically supported Fufeng without revealing the risks. The local newspaper publisher, who played a pivotal role in bringing Fufeng to Grand Forks, sits on the board of the Grand Forks Regional Economic Development Corporation. In fact, the city reached an agreement with Fufeng without public consultation. So citizens drew up a petition demanding a referendum. They gathered close to 5,000 signatures, more than necessary to force a referendum, but the authorities rejected it, saying grassroots drives could not address “administrative matters.”
When Jodi Carlson posted on the Facebook page of the Concerned Citizens of Fufeng Project in Grand Forks that citizens needed to take their city back since the government wasn’t listening, and quoted from the Declaration of Independence for emphasis, she was visited by the FBI and the police, who said her posts were threatening. She noted that ironically, the police had been dismissive of her complaint about an online stalker, saying they wouldn’t intervene in “social media” matters, but were suddenly interested in a post related to her Fufeng activism.
Perhaps to stem the dissent, city leaders are considering a review of the project by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) to evaluate the security implications of the Fufeng deal. It’s strange, though, that CFIUS, mandated to review real estate transactions within 100 miles of designated military installations, did not look at the deal beforehand.
But the patriotic voices from Grand Forks are being heard nationwide, so the Fufeng plant may be forced to go – or submit to stringent scrutiny for security risk. Only an alert – and patriotic – citizenry can save American freedom from the nefarious web of China’s weiqi strategy and its resident front, the American Leftists.
In 2020, President Trump’s Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned the National Governors Association about the CCP, saying they should “know it’s working you, know it’s working the team around you .” He also warned of CCP’s influence-building at lower levels, and urged vigilance at the local level. If he had been heeded, Fufeng would never have gotten a foothold in North Dakota.

From 2002 to 2012, China's average household income rose from $987 per year to $4,873, an increase of over 400%. By 2021, that figure was up to $10,200, more than double the 2012 average. Meanwhile, household income has flatlined in America, rising 41% from 2000 to 2020, according to Pew Research Data.
Even though China has a much bigger population than the U.S., it has fewer poor people than America. Globally, the World Bank poverty line is an income of $1.90 per day. By 2019, only 0.7% of the Chinese population were at or below the poverty level, meaning that about 9.9 million people lived in poverty out of a population of 1.35 billion. In comparison, in the U.S., 12.3% of the population falls below the national poverty line. That means over 39.7 million Americans are living in poverty.
In the last 15 years, America has lost more than a quarter of its high-tech manufacturing jobs to China as U.S.-based multinational companies placed a growing percentage of their research-and-development operations in the Eastern nation. Over that span alone, the number of high-tech manufacturing jobs in the United States has declined by 687,000, or 28 percent. Meanwhile, U.S. economic growth will slump this year and it will be even slower in 2023, according to a new study from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. The OECD estimates that U.S. GDP growth will slow to 2.5 percent in 2022 and fall to just 1.2 percent in 2023. By contrast, the OECD report said China's GDP will grow 4.4 percent this year and 4.9 percent in 2023.
Everywhere you look, China is gaining dominance and America is in decline. The United States is going to have to put itself together if it wants to have any hope of competing with the Chinese in the future. At this point, we can only hope that our leaders start coming up with some solutions soon because we are running out of time. In a July 20 vote, House Democrats voted down a GOP-led amendment that would have barred the Biden administration and the U.S. Department of Energy from selling oil kept in the United States' Strategic Petroleum Reserve to China . That's right — to hell with future emergencies and current record-high gasoline prices here in America; let's sell our oil to our biggest geopolitical adversary.
That should tell you all you need to know about Democrats' priorities. They want to Make America Prostrate Again . Each and every one of the 219 House Democrats who voted to block the amendment should be thrown in jail for treason — preferably exchanged for the January 6 protesters who are still being imprisoned for no valid reason.
Democrats are determined to quickly "transition" the U.S. from fossil fuels to solar and wind-powered energy, etc., no matter the cost to Americans. They are equally determined to "transition" the U.S. from its founding principles and values of limited government of, by, and for the people; equal justice under the rule of law; and the recognition of inalienable individual rights granted by the Creator...to a deflated Marxist state ruled by a handful of elites and riven by intersectionality. No matter the cost to Americans.
It's a good thing today's "Democrats" weren't in power during World War II. They might have voted to sell oil and military hardware to Japan and Germany. Were those of their ilk in the Continental Congress during the War for Independence, they probably would have blocked any motion to provide coats and boots to Washington's soldiers at Valley Forge.
There is no sane reason for Democrats' refusal to utilize our own fossil fuels here at home...while they simultaneously approve the sale of it to rival nations who do not have nearly as strict pollution control standards. More mind-boggling still, in spite of all this, the Biden administration goes hat in hand to the likes of Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela to beg them to sell us their oil. So, to recap: We won't use our oil, but we will sell it to adversaries, and we will purchase oil from other countries for use back home.

House Democrats blocked a motion Wednesday that would have prevented President Joe Biden from selling oil drawn from the United States Strategic Petroleum Reserve to entities controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.
Rep. David Valadao (R-CA) proposed a motion to recommit H.R. 8294, the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act. A motion to recommit is a procedural motion that allows a member of the House minority to change a bill before it goes to the House floor for a final vote.
The proposed motion would have prevented U.S. oil from being sold to entities “under the ownership, control, or influence of the Chinese Communist Party” or entities that would get the oil and then turn around and export it to China.
Valadao’s motion comes just weeks after reports revealed that Biden sold nearly one million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to a CCP-owned gas company with financial ties to Hunter Biden.

In April, Biden’s Department of Energy announced the nearly one million barrel sale to Unipec, which is the trading arm of Sinopec. Sinopec is wholly owned and operated by the Chinese Communist Party.
Unipec reportedly purchases oil across the globe and then apparently sells it through its Sinopec Marketing subsidiary.

Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, reportedly has financial ties to the CCP-owned Sinopec. A private equity firm Hunter Biden cofounded reportedly purchased a nearly $2 billion stake in Sinopec Marketing in 2015.
House Democrats unanimously blocked the measure, with 219 votes against Valadao’s motion.
Valadao urged his colleagues on the House floor to support the “common sense” motion because “we need to focus on increasing energy production and not supporting our adversaries while Americans are still suffering from outrageously high fuel prices here at home.”
“These reserves are meant to be used in emergencies only. They are not meant to be used when our leadership has failed us by unnecessarily restricting domestic energy production,” Valadao said .
Valadao also called out the Biden Administration for depleting the United States Strategic Petroleum Reserve and helping China.
“It is irresponsible and dangerous for the United States to provide a foreign adversary with fuel that we need to keep here in the United States in case of an emergency,” Valadao said. “It seems the Biden administration is helping to support China’s national security at the expense of our own.”

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said that because of its large refining capacity, China is waiting for President Joe Biden “to go to them and beg them to process more and refine more oil so we can have more gasoline.”
Rubio said, “Saudi Arabia does not have unlimited production capacity. I think they’re producing about 10.5 million barrels a day. They could probably, according to most analysts, maybe get to 11 million. That doesn’t solve our problem. America alone could produce for itself, 1-1.5 million barrels a day more. But [it’s] not just the oil part. You don’t put oil in your car, you put gasoline. That has to be refined. Those refineries have been closed in America because you have an administration that says, we don’t want any more fossil fuels. Who’s going to invest more money in an industry that the president and his party is trying to put out of business? You know who has the most unused refining capacity in the world today? The most untapped refining capacity? China, while we were shutting down our refineries, they were expanding theirs. They’re sitting in the catbird seat, rubbing their hands, waiting for Biden to go to them and beg them to process more and refine more oil so we can have more gasoline.”

Skaneateles, a company Hunter Biden founded with a ten percent stake in BHR Partners, still holds a ten percent interest in the company despite claims to the contrary, according to Chinese business records.
Hunter Biden “no longer holds any interest, directly or indirectly in either BHR or Skaneateles,” Hunter’s lawyer Chris Clark claimed New York Times .
But Chinese business records contradict Clark’s claim. “Chinese site Qixin says the latest filing comes from BHR itself and that it was filed last month,” the Washington Examiner reported. “The 2021 annual report by BHR has an ‘announcement date’ of June 20. Skaneateles is still listed as a ‘shareholder’ with a 10% stake.”
China’s business registry may not have been changed to reflect Hunter’s vacated interest. But with Hunter’s global profile as the United States president’s son, the omission seems unlikely.
It should be noted that Hunter’s representative has also refused to say who bought the stake in the company and for what price.
Hunter’s possible part ownership of BHR Partners is relevant because BHR Partners is the same company linked to Chinese oil interests to which the Biden administration reportedly sold 950,000 barrels of oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve earlier this month.
Hunter Biden and BHR Partners also had “significant” deals, worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, regarding Chinese battery manufacturer CATL, according to data from Hunter’s laptop.
Before July, Hunter was not the only Biden with a connection to BHR Partners. In 2017, Joe Biden wrote a college recommendation letter for a child of Hunter’s Chinese business partner, Jonathan Li, with whom Joe Biden met in China. Li is CEO of BHR. Joe Biden and Li first reportedly met in 2013 when Hunter Biden flew to China with his father aboard Air Force Two.
Joe Biden and his staff have claimed at least seven times that the president has had no part in the family business. Yet, Joe Biden has been involved in the family business at least 13 times over nine years.

Josh Hawley Seeks to Ban Federal Contracts for China-Linked Consulting Firms Win McNamee/Lintao Zhang/Getty Images 1:44
A plan by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) would prohibit the United States federal government from awarding contracts to China-linked consulting firms.
The legislation , called the Time to Choose Act , would prohibit the Department of Defense and other federal agencies from dishing out contracts to U.S. consulting firms that contract with the Chinese government, Chinese Communist Party, or subsidiaries.
“The fact that these consultants are awarded huge contracts by our Defense Department and other federal agencies, while they are simultaneously working to advance China’s efforts to coerce the United States is appalling and completely unacceptable,” Hawley said.
“It is well past time that we hold these companies accountable and prohibit this kind of conflict of interest in government contracting,” he continued.
In addition, Hawley’s legislation would impose penalties on consulting firms that attempt to hide or misrepresent their affiliations with the Chinese government. They would also be banned from receiving future contracts.
Likewise, the legislation would terminate existing federal contracts with firms working for China and require those firms to pay fines in the sum of three times what the U.S. government spent on their contract.
Most recently, McKinsey & Company was found to be working for China-owned corporations while also holding federal contracts with the United States government. Since 2008, the firm has received nearly $900 million in taxpayer money via contracts.

Corrupti-looza: Biden family wastes no time profiting from public office

In one-party states such as the old PRI-ruled Mexico, the stealing tended to start late. Before a Mexican president was escorted out for the next, he and his would sweep the presidential palace for everything not nailed down -- the lightbulbs, the toilet seats, the doorknobs and more. There were exceptions, but it was generally the known narrative. In more than one Latin American country, the last-minute asset grab on the way out actually had a name -- " La Pinata ." After all, as former PRI mayor of Mexico City, Carlos Hank Gonzalez , used to say: "A politician who's poor is a poor politician."
Which brings us to Joe Biden, and his family's unusually fast scramble to profit from his public office right out the gate.
Son Hunter still has his 10% China equity fund stake, contrary to what had been reported, and a new art gig just perfect for bringing in money from non-transparent sources, as the New York Post, in this excellent report notes , all because his blow-pipe 'art' done as his personal art therapy is somehow so very valuable.
Brother Frank, meanwhile, is advertising his connections to old Joe for Florida law firm he's connected with, using Joe's name in a bid to drum up business. As New York Post columnist Michael Goodwin reported :
The latest sordid example involves one of Joe’s younger brothers, Frank Biden , appearing in a Florida law firm’s ad — on Inauguration Day no less. The ad used the president’s name to draw attention to the Berman Law Group’s class-action suit against sugar cane growers.
“The two Biden brothers have long held a commitment to pushing environmental issues to the forefront,” says the ad. “The president-elect has vowed to rejoin the Paris Agreement and wants to set ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets.”
The ad, first reported by CNBC, appeared in the Daily Business Review and carried a picture of Frank Biden and quotes him saying, “My brother is a model for how to go about doing this work.”
How touching. And shameless.
Brother James hasn't changed any, still under federal investigation for a hospital company that feds say isn't being run properly.
Bidens of all sorts are under federal investigation for tax evasion, money-laundering, and unregistered agent foreign ties, as this Politico report citing Hunter notes .
And it seems to be having a knock-on effect as Vice President Kamala Harris's stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, an art student (which generally isn't the most employable of professions), has suddenly gotten a fancy modeling contract , to be a 'style icon,' which hadn't been her forte until the establishment noticed she was close to power. Now they're gushing about her, selling her as stylish as emperor's new clothes. Kamala Harris, meanwhile, might just owe someone a favor.
It's happening, Goodwin observes , because the Bidens have been doing it for decades, and never with any consequences. Now that Joe's 'the big guy' and not a mere vice president, for them it's all the better.
Which is true enough as far as it goes, but still doesn't entirely explain the speed of the influence-peddling and pocket-lining -- why, contrary to the Mexican and Latin American model -- did the rush to grab money start on day one?
With these questionable acts starting early -- despite Joe's call to brother Frank to ' watch yourself ,' what seems a distinct possibility is that the family members think the gig is not going to last so the time to act is now.
Maybe they're betting Joe isn't going to last for one reason or another. That might explain why they are rushing to scarf up all they can without covering their tracks. They're like fund managers divesting a stock --- quickly, and all at once. Fund managers buy stocks quietly and gradually on expectations the price will go up, but when they think it's heading down, they don't play around, they dump it all at once and don't care who's watching.
That kind of desperation seems to be evident in House Biden's quick bid to cash in all at once, too. Do they know something we don't? Do they expect their window of opportunity will be short? How is it they can jump up so fast to cash in, even against warnings from Joe, who after all, assured the voters last fall with this malarkey:
“My son, my family will not be involved in any business, any enterprise that is in conflict with or appears to be in conflict, with inappropriate distance from the presidency and government,” he said.
Even with the spotlight on, for them, it's as if the walls are closing in and Gotterdammerung is beckoning. If that's not a vote of low confidence in the durability of Joe and his presidency, what really is?
