Washington, D.C. (November 15, 2023) – A Center for immigration Studies
analysis of the latest monthly border encounter statistics released by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) depicts a disconcerting picture of the situation at the Southwest border. Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 189,000 illegal entrants at the Southwest border in October, marking the second-highest total for any October on record. Simultaneously, CBP officers at the Southwest border ports encountered more than 52,000 inadmissible aliens, a new monthly record and nearly twice as many as in October 2022.
“As CBP’s October encounter numbers reveal, Biden’s schemes aren’t slowing down the illegal migrants but instead are adding some 300,000 new aliens monthly to the illegal population,” said Andrew Arthur, the Center’s fellow in law and policy and author of the analysis.
Arthur warns that, “Big northern cities straining under the burden of their own migrant crises should get ready, because this wave is coming their way.”
Key points from the analysis:
Border Patrol Apprehensions. In October, Border Patrol agents apprehended 188,778 illegal migrants at the Southwest border, reflecting a 13.8 percent decrease from September but still presenting a significant challenge.Changing Demographics. Unlike the early 2000s, where the majority of apprehended individuals were single adults from Mexico seeking employment, nearly 45 percent of the illegal migrants apprehended in October entered in “family units”, and nearly 11,000 others were unaccompanied alien children (UACs). This shift poses significant challenges for Border Patrol agents, creating what has been termed “controllable gaps” that smugglers exploit for other illicit activities.Diverse Nationalities. Only about half of the illegal migrants apprehended in October came from Mexico or the adjacent “Northern Triangle” countries of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. The rest, over 92,000, came from countries worldwide, including Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, India, and China. This diversity complicates the removal process, especially considering the current removal restrictions imposed by the Biden administration.CBP One App Interview Scheme. The analysis underscores the impact of the CBP One app port interview scheme, highlighting a 98 percent rise in Southwest border port encounters compared to October 2022. This administration “shell game” funnels aliens through ports of entry, obscuring the true scope of the border crisis.Total CBP Encounters. The total number of CBP encounters exceeded 309,000 in October, including a new monthly record of over 1,500 apprehensions at the Northern border. Biden’s “CHNV parole program,” a sister scheme allowing direct flights for nationals of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, adds to the overall challenge.“Biden’s border disaster is far from abating - it’s really just getting started,” concluded Arthur.

China’s state propaganda newspaper, the Global Times, observed on Monday that Beijing’s heavily censored social media outlets had flooded with comments mocking the government of San Francisco for having “miraculously disappeared overnight” its notoriously massive homeless population.
San Francisco is hosting the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, which is expected to attract a large number of world leaders and top international diplomats. Chinese dictator Xi Jinping is on a flight to San Francisco at press time and is expected to meet with American President Joe Biden on Wednesday. In anticipation of the summit, San Francisco officials erected barricades around APEC event venues and refurbished parks and public spaces. They have also dismantled longstanding homeless tent communities taking up public space on sidewalks near the summit.

The governor of California and former mayor of San Francisco Gavin Newsom (D) admitted at a press conference on Monday that “it’s true” that the city cleaned its streets and removed sprawling homeless encampments to ensure a pleasant stay for the “fancy leaders” visiting the city for the APEC.
“I know folks say, ‘Oh, they’re just cleaning up this place because all these fancy leaders are coming into town.’ That’s true because it’s true,” Newsom told reporters.
Newsom visited Beijing in October and met with Xi in Beijing’s Great Hall of the People, vowing that California, under his administration, would be “China’s long-term, stable, and strong partner.”

The abrupt disappearance of San Francisco’s indigents recalled similar operations in impoverished countries to make the streets more pleasant for a high-profile visit. National visits by Pope Francis have, in particular, prompted such clean-up operations, including the mass arrests of the homeless in Manila, the Philippines, and the disappearance of beggars on the streets of HolguÃn, Cuba, in 2015.
The before-and-after photos of San Francisco’s streets cleared of homeless encampments have circulated throughout Weibo, China’s largest government-controlled social media outlet, prompting jokes and scorn, according to the Global Times . Weibo is heavily censored and only allows topics to trend that the Chinese Communist Party approves, so any high-profile discussions on the platform are tacitly prompted by the regime. The state newspaper noted that a hashtag titled “8,000 homeless vanished overnight ahead of APEC summit” rapidly became viral on Weibo, being read over two million times.
Weibo, which regularly severely limits political discussions, is also reportedly allowing users to converse regarding the planned meeting between Xi and Biden. The outlet What’s on Weibo, which monitors the site, noted that much of the commentary permitted consisted of mockery of Biden and America generally, and both jokes and alleged concerns about Biden’s advanced age and cognitive ability particularly. Some users have taken to calling Biden “Bai Zhenhua,” meaning “Revive the Country Biden,” a joke that Biden has governed America so poorly that he is “reviving” communist China.
“Chinese netizens joked online that the ‘about-face change’ of San Francisco’s clean street and the disappearance of homeless people demonstrate the city has the ability to address the malaise,” the Global Times noted , “but only seems willing to do so when an international summit is approaching, rather than for the sake of its own people.”
“According to media reports on Friday, drug addicts, dealers and the homeless who have plagued San Francisco’s downtown have miraculously disappeared,” the outlet continued. “Sculptures have been repainted, and the streets have been spotlessly cleaned. Along the main roads of San Francisco, workers have started to re-lay uneven sidewalks and install plywood on empty manhole covers.”

The comments allowed on Weibo about the San Francisco makeover were largely derisive of the government of the United States.
“The about-face change also showed that it is not difficult to address homeless problems, to ban guns, or even solve drug issues. The US government is willing to do all those things, but just for the right people,” one such comment read.
“In China, we already have clean and safe cities. So what we do is a little bit clean-up,” another regime-approved comment read.
Hu Xijin, a Global Times commentator who lost his job as top editor after the newspaper botched its attempted cover-up of the disappearance of tennis star Peng Shuai, also published a video on the site on Monday condemning the United States for having homeless people at all, noting that San Franciso was being “hotly discussed on China’s internet.”
“Chinese people know that there are homeless people on the streets of the U.S., but we really didn’t know that there would be such a big homeless population in U.S. cities, as San Francisco alone removed about 8000 homeless people,” he claimed. “It is quite difficult for the Chinese to understand that the U.S. is so rich but there are so many people in absolute poverty.”
“These homeless people are often taken as one of the evidences of social inequality and human rights problems in the U.S.,” he added.
The Chinese government regularly uses its propaganda arms to accuse the United States of human rights “abuses” and dismiss the Republican-Democrat system of government as inferior to totalitarian communism. The Global Times has been the most vocal English-language Chinese state arm condemning democracy in this way, declaring that elections “cannot truly reflect the essence of democracy” the way that a genocidal totalitarian regime can.

The Financial Times reports that Elon Musk’s Tesla and its Chinese rivals have vowed to uphold “core socialist values” and compete fairly in China’s expanding auto market. This pledge is in response to a directive from Beijing that aims to end a protracted price war that has been upsetting the sector. Tesla has cut prices multiple times in China over the past year.
16 manufacturers signed the letter of commitment on Thursday at a motor industry conference in Shanghai, including Tesla and its biggest Chinese rival BYD. Following Tesla’s price cuts on its Model 3 and Model Y cars last October in response to escalating domestic competition, there was a price war among electric vehicle manufacturers. The main beneficiaries of this price war have been Tesla and Warren Buffett-backed BYD, both of which reported record sales in the second quarter.
Dan Prud’homme, an assistant professor of business at Florida International University, commented on the presence of the Chinese president stating: “If Xi is going to meet these business leaders at this summit, they’ll be looking for signals that the U.S.-China relationship is thawing.”
The APEC summit is not just about discussions and negotiations, it’s also a platform for showcasing visions and strategies for the future. Musk is set to join Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff in a session titled “Conversations on the Future,” emphasizing the progressive focus of the summit. Meanwhile, Exxon CEO Darren Woods plans to deliver a speech focusing on the supposed climate challenge.

Chinese flags parading through the streets of San Francisco ahead of President Joe Biden’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping have been met with backlash as videos circulate on social media.
“Oh look, San Francisco turned into China for President Xi’s arrival,” the Post Millennial’s Katie Daviscourt wrote on X, along with a video of Chinese flags lining the city’s streets as Xi’s motorcade drives by.
“Finally revealing it’s [sic ] true colors,” she added.
“San Francisco looks so much better with Chinese flags. Not a single American flag or homeless person in sight,” commentator Ian Miles Cheong said .
As Biden and Xi have their first face-to-face meeting in a year during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit held in San Francisco, city officials have been criticized for cleaning up San Francisco’s homeless problem for the arriving foreign leaders.
Barricades and fencing have been put up where homeless encampments once plagued the sidewalks.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) responded to the backlash at a press conference, saying “it’s true” that San Francisco has been cleaned up for all “those fancy leaders who are coming into town.”
“Because it’s true,” the progressive governor said. “But it’s also true, for months and months and months prior to APEC, we’ve been having different conversations.”

Biden and Xi’s meeting is “seen as a crucial step in restoring normal communications between the U.S. and China and to prevent the rivalry between the two countries from escalating,” reports Newsweek .
Xi is reportedly set to remain in California until Friday.
Republicans raised concerns about President Joe Biden’s reset meeting with Chinese Leader Xi Jinping on Wednesday to restore communications and cooperation amid heightened tensions between the two nations.
The fears are predicated on Biden’s age and family business ties, concessions Biden could give Xi, and if China will renege on potential concessions while the U.S. maintains compromises.
Biden and Xi will meet at an undisclosed location outside San Francisco to speak about finalizing agreements to curtail fentanyl trafficking and restore communications between militaries, along with boosting Boeing aircraft purchases since the latest sales in 2017.
Biden said on Tuesday his goal is to try and strengthen his relationship with Xi, an individual Biden says he met alone with 68 times as vice president. “We’re not trying to decouple from China. What we’re trying to do is change the relationship for the better,” he claimed.
Republican critics of Biden soured on the president’s framing of the summit. “We don’t have a relationship with China,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) told Fox News Tuesday morning. “It’s not like these are two teenagers dating. China is our number one adversary in the world.” “I worry a little bit about what concessions he might grant or just the way he framed this summit meeting is that we want to improve our relationship,” he added, noting China’s history of not keeping promises:
What we should be doing is focusing on ways that we can get the better of China to stop them from cheating on their trade deals or hacking into U.S. government computers or floating spy balloons over America. None of which, I’m sure, Joe Biden is going to raise with Xi Jinping today.

Xi Jinping promised Barack Obama he would stop hacking into U.S. computers. They keep doing that. Xi Jinping promised they wouldn’t build islands in the South China Sea and arm them with missile systems. And they are doing that as well. You cannot trust Chinese communists to keep their word.
Republican presidential hopeful and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley raised similar concerns about China’s history of not keeping its commitments.
“The reason why I pulled us out of the Paris Climate Agreement is not because we don’t care about the agreement — everybody cares about the environment. It is because we put so many regulations on our companies — our own administration did,” she told Fox News.
“You know what China’s Paris Climate Agreement was?” Haley asked. “‘We’ll deal with it in ten years.’ I dealt with China before. Ten years never comes.”
Liz Peek, a Fox News contributor and former partner of major bracket Wall Street firm Wertheim & Company, took a different approach by highlighting Biden’s “mental impairment” and questioning if the president is compromised.
“Biden’s mental impairment is one reason to dread his upcoming meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in San Francisco,” she wrote Monday. “Another is mounting evidence that the president is compromised”:
If indeed the president and his family took in millions of dollars from government-affiliated entities in China, as it appears they did, we can be certain the details of those transactions are known to Xi and can be used to ‘persuade’ Biden to adopt the party line — the Communist Party line, that is.

To that end, Russia remains the CCP’s most important military partner and provider of advanced military technologies. That partnership was later enhanced as a comprehensive strategic partnership, which has allowed China to become Russia's most important partner in trade and diplomacy, helping Moscow to carry on amid otherwise devastating international sanctions. Still, the report says that the United States maintains a crucial advantage over the CCP due to the regime’s own belligerence against its would-be partners. Though the CCP seeks to use international military exercises to shore up its own reputation, the report says, the regime does “little to develop foreign partner military capacity” and frequently “undermines its own efforts” by using military force against its regional partners to press its illegal claims in the South China Sea. Xi does San Fran, and the city is unrecognizable in more ways than one
San Francisco made sure to clean all the feces, needles, graffiti, and drug addicts from the sidewalks for “all those fancy leaders” before they rolled into town for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, a reality which Gavin Newsome went on television to confirm—in fact, AT’s own Monica Showalter wrote a great essay on the subject—and overnight, the city became literally unrecognizable.
But, it wasn’t only the relatively clean streets in a Democrat-run city that caused us to do a double-take… see below:
This is not Beijing and it’s not Tiananmen Square—it’s an American city (or was ), and there isn’t an American flag in sight. Chinatown isn’t just a cultural hub in San Francisco anymore, but apparently San Francisco itself! And I don’t know if that music played aloud in the street, or if it was added to the video afterwards, but that is the Chinese national anthem, which includes a reference to building another “Great Wall.” Ironically, this isn’t quite compatible with the open borders of the Democrats, but particularly California Democrats.
Back in August, I penned a blog on a particular press release from Newsom’s office, which detailed how the governor had “wed his state to a foreign communist province” and signed a “Memorandum of Understanding” with Vice Governor Chen Huaiyu of Hainan. It proved that “anti-American actors have friends in the highest of places” as Newsom had entered into an agreement with Chen regarding “carbon neutrality plans”—ominous much? As a friendly reminder, not that you need one, this is the nation that harvests organs from conscious humans, executes political and religious dissidents, and welds problematic people into high-rise buildings where they starve to death. I think the picture is pretty clear of how they intend to “neutralize” carbon.
You know what else is noticeably absent? All those “Pride” flags. That’s weird… What about all that endless “proud ally” talk from city and state officials? I thought California, and especially San Francisco, boldly publicized their willingness to fight LGBTQ “hate” and “discrimination” even when it wasn’t the popular thing to do… But some anti-LGBTQ communist rolls into town and they unfurl the red carpet and rip down the incriminating paraphernalia? And, not that I have a problem with the removal of “Pride” flags at all (instead I applaud it), but it sounds about right for the virtue-signaling left.
The evolution from California to Commiefornia is complete.

Barricades and fencing have been erected in San Francisco as the city scrambles to clean up its homeless population ahead of President Joe Biden’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Photos and videos showing metal barricade structures outside of the Moscone Center, where leaders of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) group are set to gather Wednesday, have garnered criticism on social media.
“San Francisco built a wall and made all the homeless people disappear for Xi,” End Wokeness, an account with more than 1.8 million followers, posted on X. “If only they cared about pleasing their own constituents as much as they care about pleasing a world dictator.”
Biden and Xi are to meet on the “sidelines” of the San Francisco summit on Wednesday, reports Fox News.
More images from the city’s streets show before-and-after photos in which homeless encampments were seemingly cleaned up right before the Chinese leader’s arrival.
“Xi has done more to clean up our filthy cities than any elected U.S. official,” former White House speechwriter Darren J. Beattie wrote on X.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) responded to the backlash at a press conference, saying “it’s true” that San Francisco has been cleaned up for all “those fancy leaders who are coming into town.”
“Because it’s true,” the progressive governor said. “But it’s also true, for months and months and months prior to APEC, we’ve been having different conversations.”
In October, Newsom became the first U.S. governor to visit China in more than four years, meeting with Xi and promising to be his “long-term, stable, and strong partner.”

The White House said in a Friday statement:
The Leaders will discuss issues in the U.S.-PRC [People’s Republic of China] bilateral relationship, the continued importance of maintaining open lines of communication, and a range of regional and global issues. Building on their last meeting in November 2022 in Bali, Indonesia, the Leaders will also discuss how the United States and the PRC can continue to responsibly manage competition and work together where our interests align, particularly on transnational challenges that affect the international community.
Democrat San Francisco Mayor London Breed claimed on X that APEC is “projected to bring over $50 million in economic impact to the City — this is support for our small businesses & restaurants, people staying in our hotels, and tax revenues that pay for things like our parks, libraries, services, and police officers throughout our city.”
Meanwhile, her city has been plagued with homelessness. A city government report revealed that San Francisco has 7,754 homeless people, with 887 individuals experiencing homelessness per 100,000 residents. This is far above the peer average of 578 per 100,000.

San Francisco Mayor London Breed said Monday “Bloomberg Technology” that her city has constantly been cleaning streets and helping the homeless get shelter while discussing preparing for the APEC Summit of President Joe Biden and China’s Xi Jinping.
Host Ed Ludlow said, “Why has it taken the visit of U.S. President Biden, China’s President Xi, leaders around the world for action on all of the problems the city has been talking about for 4 years now?”
Breed said, “Just to be clear, we have been working on this for a few years. This is not an issue have been sitting around waiting to solve. It is something San Francisco continues to work on. Since I have been mayor, since 2018 we have helped over 10,000 people exit homelessness. We have never had 10,000 people on our streets. We have seen a reduction when other cities saw an increase. This is a problem we continuously worked on. This year, we got additional resources from the state and the federal government that has made a tremendous difference around the challenges that we are dealing with.”
Ludlow said, “A question from our audience that was submitted when they heard that your comment on the program is more people moved temporarily because of the event of this week from specific blocks and neighborhoods to others, or was this permanent action that was taken from what we see on the streets outside?”
Breed said, “It was an effort that took place as we had a court case where it limited our ability to move people off of the street. We still have a few hundred beds available. Our street outreach team is out there everyday. After we got clarity from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, people who were offered shelter are no longer in involuntarily homeless. We are able to move them into housing and support. We have been aggressive once we had the clarity to get people off of the street. Our goal is to provide support to provide compassion and not let people linger on our streets when we have an opportunity for housing.”

Less than 15 percent of voters believe they are better off with President Joe Biden as commander in chief, a Financial Times -University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business poll found Monday, increasing fears among Democrats that “Bidenomics” failed to deliver results.
14 percent of voters say they are better off financially now than when Joe Biden took office, the poll found.70 percent of voters say Biden’s economic policies had either hurt the economy or had no impact.Among the 70 percent, 33 percent said the president’s policies hurt the economy a lot. The poll revealed inflation was voters’ greatest financial stress:
82 percent of respondents said soaring price increases.75 percent said inflation was the most significant threat to the U.S. economy in the next six months.Inflation caused a majority of voters to change their essential and non-essential spending, the poll also found:
65 percent said they reduced non-essential spending, such as eating out and holiday purchases.52 percent said they reduced spending on food or other everyday necessities.52 percent said they know “a little” or “nothing” about “Bidenomics.”“Every group — Democrats, Republicans and independents — list rising prices as by far the biggest economic threat . . . and the biggest source of financial stress,” Erik Gordon, a professor at Michigan’s Ross School, told the Times . “That is bad news for Biden, and the more so considering how little he can do to reverse the perception of prices before election day.”
The poll sampled 1,004 voters from November 2-7 with a 3.1 margin of error.
The poll comes after Democrats would reportedly advise Biden to “heave” so-called “Bidenomics” in the “dumpster,” Politico’s Jonathan Martin wrote Monday after interviewing dozens of Democrats and Never Trump Republicans.
“Attempting to make voters believe something they don’t is folly. Attaching your name to that strategy borders on masochistic,” Martin said of Biden’s economic policy term. “At a time when people are paying more for housing, gas and groceries, focusing on job growth and the unemployment rate is ineffective.”

America in October of 2024
The 2024 presidential election is a year away. The political landscape of America in October of 2024 will be far different than it is today. The current polling, which focuses on which candidate for president is winning and the attendant punditry, is meaningless. Over the next twelve months there will be a significant increase in voter dissatisfaction due to unabated crime and illegal immigration as well as seismic shifts in the economy and foreign affairs which will dramatically affect the fortunes of both parties and their candidates.
A September 2023 poll revealed that just 28% of Americans believe the U.S. political system is working extremely or somewhat well. Additionally, 65% of respondents indicated that they are dissatisfied with the candidates running for president as another recent poll exposed that just 33% of American electorate has a favorable view of Joe Biden and only 29% have a favorable view of Donald Trump.
When combined with 76% of Americans believing the country is headed in the wrong direction, the darkly negative outlook of the citizenry will not improve over the next twelve months as there is virtually nothing indicating a sea change in the nation’s fortunes or politics. In fact, an unjaundiced view of the immediate future reveals ever-growing dark clouds on the horizon.
The economy is currently being propped up by unprecedented government expenditures combined with modest growth in consumer spending as Americans are paying significantly more for virtually everything. However, the current level of consumer spending cannot be sustained and will soon begin to significantly decline.
This decline is inevitable due to total household debt now reaching an unheard-of $17.28 Trillion (equivalent to the annual gross domestic product of China) while real incomes continue to rapidly deteriorate due to intractable inflation.
Many have been forced to turn to borrowing, spending their savings, drawing down their retirement accounts and credit card debt to pay their bills . As a result, bankruptcies and loan and credit card delinquencies are skyrocketing, while the wealth of Americans is being rapidly depleted.
The Biden Administration and its allies in Congress are determined to continue propping up the economy through massive government spending. However, due to this out-of-control fiscal policy, the government is having an increasingly difficult time convincing investors to buy long-term U.S. Treasury bonds without committing to significantly higher interest rates with each new auction.
The estimated annualized interest payments on U.S. government debt currently exceeds $1 Trillion , which represents 45.5% of all income tax revenue collected annually by the federal government and a doubling of interest expenses over the past 19 months alone.
While exorbitant government spending, borrowing, and de facto money printing continues there is little chance of inflation receding. The consumer, unlike previous economic recoveries, will not be at the forefront of triggering economic growth. Thus, the reality of a severe long-term economic downturn becomes more inevitable by the month.
The general consensus of many economists is that there is at a 60-65% probability of a recession before September of 2024. However, the ongoing massive drop in shipping volume, record bankruptcies, and unprecedented layoffs in the global and domestic supply chain portends a much higher probability of a significant recession in 2024.
On the international scene, chaos will continue to reign. It’s not a question of if but how much worse will it be in 12 months.
It is highly likely that Iran will have nuclear weapons and long-range ballistic missiles within the next twelve months. As Iran will not be confronted or sanctioned by the United States or the West, they will be further emboldened to sow chaos in the Middle East by expanding their support for their terrorist proxies, increasing their influence in Iraq and Syria and targeting Saudi Arabia. Utilizing their proxies, Iran will continue to isolate and attack Israel, who, thanks to American interference, will not have fully destroyed Hamas or Hezb’allah. The Middle East will be more volatile a year from now than it is at present and the risk of American military involvement will be exponentially higher.
The war in Ukraine will be over as it will end in a stalemate with Russia permanently annexing a portion of eastern Ukraine. However, the Biden Administration will obligate the citizens of the United States to finance the bulk of the rebuilding. The Biden administration and Congress will essentially declare Ukraine a de facto American dependent while agreeing to allow Ukraine to join NATO.
China will continue to expand its hegemony throughout the western Pacific region by isolating Taiwan and continuously provoking America and its allies in the region. They will be actively engaging in governmental upheavals throughout South and Central America while threatening to cut off trade routes and selectively limiting trade with the United States. China is convinced that the Unites States is politically incapable of confronting them while also dealing with the Middle East, Ukraine, and a myriad of economic and societal issues at home. China will be an even more dangerous, aggressive, and implacable adversary a year from now.
Joe Biden will not be the Democrat Party nominee in 2024. His high unfavourability stemming from his egregious scandals, his age, his mental decrepitude, and his overall incompetence will embolden the party hierarchy to convince Biden to drop out of the race in the spring of 2024 and then resign after November 5, 2024. Thus, allowing Kamala Harris to serve as the historic first female President of color. The party will nominate someone else who can run on not being responsible for the failures of the Biden Administration while making Donald Trump the entire focus of their campaign.
Donald Trump, will in all likelihood, be found guilty of at least one felony in the January 6th “insurrection” trial as it is being adjudicated in Washington D.C. in front of a grossly prejudiced judge and a jury that will no doubt be predominantly made up of anti-Trump voters.
The Republican Party and its voters will then be faced with the quandary of sticking with Trump and his historically low approval ratings with the American electorate (average of 41% from 2017-2021, and an average of 37% from 2022-2023) or replacing him with someone the Democrats cannot so easily demonize.
The old adage “a year is an eternity in politics” is perhaps more apt in this presidential election cycle than in any in modern American history as there are so many variables that will impact the outcome. But the outcome of the 2024 election will determine the fate of the nation, particularly if the Democrats again control the White House and Congress.

Notwithstanding the messy intermezzo over the House speakership, Republican congressional chairs James Comer, Jason Smith, and Jim Jordan have used their committees to triangulate a cogent case of rampant political corruption and grift by the Biden family going back at least through his two terms as vice president. Kickbacks for foreign government favors were funneled through a labyrinth of shell companies licensed for ill purposes, with related communications among family members, business associates, and the vice president facilitated by more than five thousand emails masked by several aliases. Biden family wealth grew rapidly once Joe Biden went retail, satisfying quid pro quos that affected and effected foreign policy while shielding and protecting the ongoing criminal conspiracy. The liability of this scheme was to entrust these shakedowns to a drug-addicted and honeypotted son who spent more time out of his pants than in them.
Our global adversaries, an expanding axis spearheaded by Russia and China, now hold a grubstake in the Biden foreign policy garage sale. This pay-to-play scheme runs counter to America’s economic and national security interests and cozies up to countries far more likely to be confronted on the battlefield than at tony world forums and Beltway cocktail parties. There is no reasonable balance that can be struck, given the severity and national security impact of these serial crimes, to any of the gaslit conversations, straw allegations, indictments, and rushed impeachments put upon Donald Trump before, during, and after his presidency.
While Democrats have deployed a strategy to prosecute the former president at the drop of a hat, House Republicans are slow walking their process to wring every Biden malpractice from whistleblowers, business associates, bank records, emails, and subpoenaed witnesses. Kevin McCarthy capitulated to a push from the Freedom Caucus to open an impeachment inquiry, although it did not reduce the personal animosity of those who sent him back into the well of the House. His successor, Mike Johnson, elevated after another three-week interlude of legislative paralysis, appears hesitant to bring a vote that would force a commitment from at least eighteen Republican moderates hailing from Biden-leaning districts.
House and Senate Republican bigwigs appear reluctant to hold firm the ramparts of their own party or advance an effective ground game to win elections. Between episodes of suspended animation, Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell has been reluctant to fund the campaigns of grassroots candidates and Trump populists. The danger of McConnell’s mis-state of mind is that his hatred of Trump will metastasize to block the races of solid conservative candidates in swing states.
In 2017, House Speaker Paul Ryan did everything he could to sabotage the Trump agenda, giving momentum to the Democrats and the gavel to Nancy Pelosi. Ryan left office in 2018 to lambast Trump populism from the sidelines, making a fresh start on the Fox News Board of Directors to drive an ideological wedge between Trump and the network and to shape a contemporary brand of televised neo-conservatism slowly drifting into the lane of the Democrats.
Given the fractious nature of the party, the 118th Congress is now on track to underperform at levels not seen in more than fifty years. Absent the lifeline of a Democrat tripartite during Pelosi’s leadership, only twenty-one bills have been enacted into law in the first session of the 118th , compared to eighty-five in the previous session. Many of these bills are symbolic and procedural, of little consequence to an economically depressed country adrift in a dangerous world. In mid-November, Americans can expect another shutdown showdown, with Democrats pointing fingers while Republican caucuses lock horns.
The 2020 electoral makeover that threw the election for Biden has not changed. Voting rights activists will continue to have the wind at their backs in 2024, and the Democrat lawfare against state attempts to improve election integrity have turned the tables on Republicans by alleging election interference and racism by disparate impact. In nine states, ballots are still sent to everyone, regardless of need, request, or a pulse. It bodes poorly for America’s salvation that two-thirds of Democrats and half of Republicans have indicated a strong likelihood that they will vote by mail rather than drag themselves to a polling station. The battle cry to count every vote is still a call to arms for digging up tranches of uncounted ballots in the wee hours and days after the polls close, culminating in sudden reversals of political fortune that favor Democrats.
Drop boxes, the dumpster of choice for illegal ballot deposits by political operatives called mules, continue to be utilized in at least 32 states , with little to no federal prosecutions of known offenders. Although in receipt of credible whistleblower and video evidence, the FBI has downplayed or contested egregious incidents of hundreds of thousands of ballots crossing state lines and unmonitored after hours ballot counting at polling stations. A three-year investigation undertaken by the Postal Service recently proved the FBI wrong in one case; however, no further action has been taken.
State voting rolls are still bloated and erroneous, particularly in the swing states. In 2020 and 2022, hundreds of legal challenges to the use of outdated voter rolls were defeated in Nevada . Those same registration rolls will now be used in 2024 to mass mail ballots. In challenges issued prior to the 2020 general election, Georgia finally scrubbed 100,000 ineligible voters from its rolls, just in time for Joe Biden to celebrate his first half year in the Oval Office.
The risk of a blue tidal wave of illegal immigrant voters also poses a clear and present danger to the Republican party. Eighteen states under Democrat rule and comprising almost half of the nation’s population issue driver’s licenses to illegals, either without evidence of lawful presence or by displaying other cursory identification or residential information such as pay slips, rental agreements, or utility bills. Fulfilling these requirements, they are automatically registered to vote . Those same registration rolls are used by nine blue states, six of ten declared sanctuaries , to universally mail ballots by default to the addresses provided on the license, likely to include immigrant charity organizations, churches, or other non-profits that have allowed illegals to use their addresses as a pass through for state and federal cash benefits.
Even as illegal immigration continues to transform America from a melting pot into a chamber pot, and the working class suffers through an inflationary economy, rampant crime, spreading wars, and the deism and authoritarianism of climate control, the Biden campaign seems unconcerned about the 2024 election. Biden recently snubbed the New Hampshire primary, a move that foretells his 2024 basement strategy: using his infrequent, take no questions, and scripted press conferences as campaign events with a focus on MAGA extremism and abortion, and refusing to debate with Donald Trump by putting the spotlight on his indictments and gaslighting him as a threat to democracy.
As the Democrats plot out a series of censorious trials and a partisan media offensive calculated to cripple a 2024 Trump candidacy, McConnell persists in his belief that a Biden impeachment will be bad for the country. His reluctance to put the Democrat’s caporegime on the docket, surrendering to Schumer on government shutdown negotiations, and hawkish efforts against curbing Ukraine spending, has all but assured the 118th Congress another session of gridlock and immobility.
Republicans are ready to pop the corks over several polls that predict a Trump sweep of battleground states in 2024. Democrat pundits are lying in wait, keeping their chips on Joe Biden, and knowing that any of the ninety-one indictments that bring a conviction will chip away any Trump lead. One can only hope for the future of our country that Republican voters energized by lofty expectations are not treated to another race to second place.

The paid agent behind the Oval Office desk

Via John Hinderaker of Power Line, Andy McCarthy at National Review has a stunning piece outlining the depths of Joe Biden's involvement as China's little agent, tying together details which will make you wanting to take a shower afterward.
He writes:
Thanks to the extensive excavation of Biden financial records by Senators Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R., Wis.), followed by the dogged reporting of the New York Post once Hunter’s abandoned laptop was exposed, the outlines of the story were publicly available before Election Day 2020. The Biden/China scheme may not have been sufficiently known, but it was eminently knowable — so much so that I presented it in detail in “A Collusion Tale: China and the Bidens,” which we published on October 31, 2020 — the weekend before the election.
The story has gotten more damning with the additional evidence unearthed by the Oversight Committee under the direction of Chairman James Comer (R., Ky.). But it hasn’t changed.
CEFC, the Shanghai-based energy conglomerate with which Joe Biden and his family joined forces, was China. To describe it as a “thinly veiled” arm of Xi Jinping’s monstrous regime would exaggerate the camouflage. It was run by Ye Jianming, whom the Bidens deemed a protégé of Xi — as the president’s brother, Jim Biden, conceded to federal investigators.
How could it be otherwise? As I recounted in October 2020, CEFC’s position as a privileged “private” company was established by the regime in 2006 (when Xi was the rising star of the CCP).
The fake Chinese front company disappeared from view along with its agents, as soon as its activities got brazen enough for lawmen to start examining them -- in an instant. But the Bidens had already gotten their money, and performed their services, and it was a lot of money -- big $10,000,000 amounts. The Chinese not only used the Bidens to find out little things like what the FBI had on their agents, they also used it to muscle other countries to jump onboard with their One Belt, One Road initiative and other projects, letting them know that they already had the Bidens in their pocket so there was no protection out there for them:
This, of course, is why the Biden connection was so valuable — why CEFC was willing to pay millions of dollars for it. Doors were opened by the association with Joe Biden, one of America’s most prominent, influential politicians. If CEFC could brandish cordial relations and a business partnership with the Biden family, then other targets of China’s OBOR blandishments would be more willing to transact.
China is famous for getting the hooks in in a string of third world nations, all of which have become remarkably uncooperative with the U.S., and not even interested in making alliances with it any more. We've lost influence as joining in the China-led BRICS bloc has become the hot new thing.
Does it sound like Joe Biden has undermined our international interests with his takings from the Chinese regime, all to buy those mansions and fancy cars? Somehow, the U.S. doesn't have the influence it used to have internationally, and it's not just because of President Obama's constant apology tours. It was having Joe on their string that pretty well negated the U.S. as a global player. It also doesn't help that with Joe around, we also lose wars and sport wokester troops on hormone treatments, wearing makeup and dresses.
I'd still like to know what Hunter Biden did with that diamond the Chinese agents presented him with, likely to avoid bank monitoring laws.
Acting as an agent of a foreign regime while in public office is treason by anyone's definition. It's also an impeachable offense, as is bribery, according to the Constitution 's Article II, Section 4:
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
Where's the impeachment of this one, given the clarity of the charges?
Previous House Speaker Kevin McCarthy hemmed and hawed on it, believing perhaps that because past presidential impeachments have been on trivial matters and have always failed, this one wouldn't be any different.
But it is different, with millions of dollars changing hands and U.S. influence waning significantly. If this isn't dealt with in Congress, the stage will be set for any elected leader to do the same. Now that the facts are known, Andy McCarthy argues, that Joe cannot escape his China scandal paper trail at the very least. One hopes that he is right because the bribery and treason here couldn't be more real.

Yellen: ‘Deep Economic Relationship’ with China ‘Generally Beneficial’ to Both, ‘We Have a Productive Competition’

During an interview aired on Tuesday’s “PBS NewsHour,” Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen stated that the “deep economic relationship and financial relationship” between the U.S. and China “is generally beneficial, both to China and the United States,” and “we have a productive competition between the United States and China.”
Yellen said, “Well, even if we disagree about something as fundamental as democracy versus autocracy, we need to have constructive relationships with one another. We have a deep economic relationship and financial relationship that is generally beneficial, both to China and the United States, although we insist that it be one that’s fair with a level playing field so that American workers aren’t disadvantaged. But we have a productive competition between the United States and China. We want to make sure that that continues. At the same time, we intend to protect our national security, and it’s important for China to understand that we’re doing that, that it’s really non-negotiable, but that we try to do it in ways that are targeted, narrow, and not designed to harm the Chinese people broadly or to inhibit their growth. So, there are many areas in which we can and should cooperate, and the meeting…I’m sure will address all of these points.”
She also stated that decoupling “would be disastrous for both the United States and China and for the global economy more broadly. I do not think that we should try to decouple. I think that would be dangerous and counterproductive. I visited Beijing a year ago, following President Biden’s and President Xi’s decision that economics and finance are areas where we should regularly communicate, and I think we’ve opened up productive channels, we have established economic and financial working groups that are meeting to try to address these issues constructively.”

While media reports have focused University of Pennsylvania’s Biden Center, less attention has been paid to University of Delaware’s Biden Institute, even though these two “institutes” were opened on the same day and meant to serve a shared goal of being incubators of advancing globalism and leftism. The UPenn Biden Center became a pipeline for longtime Biden allies into his administration, and, as previously reported by Peter Schweizer, proceeded a suspicious influx in Chinese donations to the university.
Together with a Penn Biden office in DC, the two entities that would be the public-facing “stage” for the “Biden Brand.”
The key players at the University of Delaware’s Biden Institute were either Biden family members, people with deep ties to China, or both. In fact, in my new book, Breaking Biden , on sale today, I reveal that the University of Delaware Biden operation was Hunter’s “baby” and was part of a larger strategy to replicate the Clinton Global Initiative without onerous fundraising.
Who would provide the funds to the UD Biden Institute if they weren’t going to be gathered by traditional means? That part is unclear, but the constellation of facts I present in the book certainly raises suspicion that it could be a vehicle for influence peddling that could benefit entities foreign and domestic.
Valerie Biden Celebrates Hunter’s “Baby” On December 11, 2018, the University of Delaware announced that it was naming its public policy school after Vice President Biden. Emails show that this move was orchestrated by members of UD’s Biden Institute. It was on the day of the announcement that Hunter Biden received a text message from his aunt and former Joe Biden campaign manager, Valerie Owens ( who chairs the Biden Institute ), crediting him for the deepening partnership with between the Biden family and the university: “Bravo Hunter—UD was your baby and you made sure I was part of it.”
The University of Delaware Biden Institute was Hunter’s “baby.” And this was the type of baby the family most certainly was not going to ignore.

Tied to China from the Start Like the University of Pennsylvania, University of Delaware (UD) disclosed receiving funds from China soon after forging the partnership with the Bidens.
The emails show that in March 2016, Hunter and his colleagues met with incoming UD president Dennis Assanis to discuss plans for the UD/UPenn venture months before Assanis was officially instated. Assanis has deep and long-standing ties to China. In addition to serving as the founding director of the U.S.-China Clean Energy Research Center—Clean Vehicle Consortium (CERC-CVC) since 2003, Assanis has been a guest professor (2003–2008) and advisory professor (2009 to present) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). This fact alone raises concern given that SJTU has signed cooperative agreements with China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA). What’s more, cyberattacks on American companies such as Google have been traced to computers at SJTU.
Like UPenn, the UD Biden Institute was quickly stocked with future Biden appointees–at least twelve so far–including soon-to-be senior Biden advisor Mike Donilon and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy . Assanis himself would be named to Biden’s President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.
The University of Delaware had never disclosed receiving funds from China until April 2018, when it accepted over $3.2 million for a contract with an unnamed Chinese entity. This came two months after the Penn Biden Center opened its DC office. Then, in December 2018, UD received $1.9 million from an unnamed Chinese entity. In 2019, UD received another $625,000 from China. In 2020, UD initiated three contracts with the Chinese entities and received over $1 million in funds. In sum, UD has received over $6.7 million from unnamed Chinese sources, including a substantial amount from the Chinese government.
All these funds started flowing to UD after the Biden Institute was announced and increased immediately after the launch of the Penn Biden Center.

Supporting Chinese Military Technology This money from China is cause for alarm given that UD has thirty-seven international partnerships with Chinese universities, including several that support the development of Chinese military technologies. The most logical reasons for the Chinese to engage in these partnerships is that they want to influence American institutions, acquire American intellectual property, or both.
On February 8 2022, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) wrote a letter to UD president Dennis Assanis urging him to terminate UD’s academic and research partnership with Xiamen University, which actively supports Beijing’s military-industrial complex and which allegedly conspired with Huawei to steal trade secrets from an American semiconductor start-up. Yet, according to the International Cyber Policy Centre’s China Defence Universities Tracker database, that partnership with Xiamen University is only a “medium” risk.
The University of Delaware has worked with at least four other universities linked to Chinese defense laboratories.
“Like the Clinton Global Initiative Without the Money Raise” In April 2016, Hunter exchanged emails and had at least one meeting with Craig Gering, a talent agent for the legendary Creative Artists Agency, about Vice President Biden’s future after he leaves office. Gering took “confidential notes” from the meeting that describe details about the plans for the UD/UPenn operation, including the possibility of Hunter serving in the Penn Biden Center DC office. Gering fantasized about an entity that “operates like The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) without the money raise.”
CGI claims it convenes “established and emerging global leaders to create and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges,” according to its website, but functionally, it was an easy way for the Clintons to reap donor funds to leverage relationships with celebrities and major corporations to boost their profiles all the while promoting their own cultural and political agenda items. Donations to CGI dried up when it came under media scrutiny from Schweizer and others for soliciting millions of dollars from foreign governments and businesses—the same governments and businesses that received favorable treatment from the Obama administration during Hillary’s tenure as secretary of state.

The Clinton Global Initiative was shut down in 2016 and revived in 2022. In retrospect, it was always meant to be an influence-peddling operation by the Clintons. It was shuttered at the specific moment where Hillary Clinton could no longer do anything substantial for the donors.
That’s where the Bidens could step in and fill the void.
“Wealth Creation” for the Bidens It was clear from the Laptop from Hell emails that Biden World fantasized about an entity like the CGI for Joe. It could be a means for influential figures around the world to boost the Biden brand. The UD/UPenn/Biden venture is ultimately about “wealth creation,” according to Gering.
It could be used for philanthropy, bettering the world, and advancing the Biden name. But most importantly, “wealth creation.”
A stunning admission.
The degree to which the Bidens were able to leverage these new entities to benefit themselves financially is unclear, but we do know, thanks to the Laptop from Hell, that the vision was in place to create a secret money machine that could be relevant for generations.
It was Hunter’s baby.

The close collaboration between the US Treasury, the Federal Reserve and the multi-billion dollar asset management firm Blackrock (JOE BIDN’S BIGGEST BRIBSTER) in devising the March 2020 rescue operation for Wall Street has been revealed in an article published in the New York Times yesterday.
Since Biden’s inauguration, the University of Pennsylvania has disclosed at least $14 million in donations from China or Hong Kong, the Free Beacon reported last week. The names of these donors have yet to be disclosed by the Department of Education, breaking the precedent of prior administrations which published foreign donor names in a public database.

Hunter Biden did not reside with President Joe Biden in Delaware when his Chinese business partners wired money to Joe Biden’s address in 2019, court documents show.
Joe Biden’s address received two wires from BHR Partners associates linked to the CCP in July and August totaling $260,000, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) revealed Tuesday.
The time frame detailed in Hunter Biden’s collapsed plea deal in July with now-special counsel David Weiss says Hunter Biden’s residence was in California when the Chinese partners sent money to Joe Biden’s address. Hunter Biden “remained in California and spent much of the Summer 2019 painting and developing plans for his memoir,” the plea deal states on page 9. In Hunter Biden’s memoir, “Beautiful Things,” the president’s son also noted that he lived in California at the time his Chinese partners wired the money to Delaware.
According to Hunter Biden’s text messages and emails, he shared a bank account with Joe Biden and paid some of his father’s expenses. Hunter Biden also listed Joe Biden’s Delaware house as the billing address for his personal credit card and Apple account in 2018 and 2019. In addition, Hunter Biden’s driver’s license issued in 2018 lists Joe Biden’s residence.
“This was a documented loan (not a distribution or pay-out) that was wired from a private individual to his new bank account which listed the address on his driver’s license, his parents’ address, because it was his only permanent address at the time,” Abbe Lowell, Hunter Biden’s lawyer, told CNN. “We expect more occasions where the Republican chairs twist the truth to mislead people to promote their fantasy political agenda.”
The wired money from Beijing, China, to Joe Biden’s address contradicts the president’s false claim that Hunter Biden never made money from China. Joe Biden also falsely claimed he never spoke to his son about business. Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s best friend in business, told the Oversight Committee that Joe Biden spoke with a BHR Partners associate, Jonathan Li, on speakerphone to sell the “Biden brand.”
BHR Partners, the fund Hunter Biden co-founded via a joint venture with Archer and Li, maintains investments worth billions of dollars around the globe. Hunter Biden conveyed his stake to his current lawyer, Kevin Morris, Breitbart News exclusively reported in April. Archer conveyed his stake in BHR Partners to his wife in 2017.
“President Biden has lied to Americans again,” House Speaker Kevin McCarthy told reporters Tuesday evening. “We now have found today that when President Biden was running for the presidency, when he told the American people that, ‘My family has never received money from China,’ was wrong.”
White House spokesman Ian Sams pushed back on McCarthy’s comment by telling CNN that money wired to Joe Biden’s address is a part of a conspiracy theory, CNN reported:
Extreme House Republicans are pushing out half-baked innuendo and conspiracy theories that yet again show no evidence of wrongdoing by President Biden, just more discredited personal attacks on him and his family, in a sad effort to distract from their chaotic inability to govern that is leading us to the brink of a dangerous government shutdown.
Despite the White House’s repeated disinformation , Tuesday’s revelation emerged from the committee’s recent subpoena of financial records related to a specific bank account that received two wires from China linked to BHR Partners associates. “Joe Biden’s abuse of public office for his family’s financial gain threatens our national security. What did the Bidens do with this money from Beijing?” Comer asked.
