George Soros, billionaire financier, leftist activist, and influencer, has extensive financial connections with global media, as shown in a Media Research Center study—with the unavoidable result that these outlets promote socialist ideological agendas.
According to a report that Joseph Vazques and Dan Schneider wrote for the Media Research Center (“MRC”), Soros has connections with 253 global media organizations. That report, published in early December, may already be out of date because it does not seem to include the money he poured into a hard-left group that is on the verge of purchasing 18 Spanish-language radio stations across 10 different markets, giving them “access to one-third of the Hispanic population.”
MRC asserts that Soros can “mold public opinion on practically every continent” because of his donations and contributions, money that he claims advances his “open society agenda,” an agenda that is radical Marxist Socialist. Open Society advocates for abortion, Marxist economics, defunding the police, lax law enforcement, open borders, aggressive (even violent) environmentalism, and LGBT activism.
The report also correctly observes that Soros gets favorable treatment from those global media organizations and their journalists/reporters who know who their Daddy Warbucks is. The result, as expected, is that targets other than Soros are slelected for investigation and criticism.
The MRC report is just part of a planned 3-part series exposing Soros’s relationship with the international media. MRC believes that this information will explain why there is so much leftist international coordination on political reporting and advocacy journalism.
The MRC report names some of the organizations involved in flooding news and opinion outlets with Soros’s money: The Poynter Institute received $492,000 to train future leftist journalists; openDemocracy received over $1.6 million to promote leftist reports; and, of course, NPR added $600,000 to its taxpayer-funded outlets to report the news with a leftist slant.
Money talks and pay-to-play are the watchwords of the media and politicians. Through his super PAC, Democracy II, Soros was the Democrats’ top donor in 2022, giving them at least $126 million.
Soros is also a notorious major contributor to anti-Israel causes. His Open Society Foundations also gave $220 million to Black Lives Matter-aligned organizations. That’s a lot of money for “rent a mob” and other activities that influence politicians and private corporations to accede to leftist pressure.
Politics is war for Marxists/socialists, and hired guns and bullhorns are essential to moving opinion. To paraphrase the old Saturday night TV show Have Gun Will Travel, “have Soros bucks, will travel.”

A number of United States universities, backed by groups funded by billionaires George Soros and Mark Zuckerberg, are lobbying Congress to quickly pass an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens to preserve their billion-dollar annual tuition and fees pipeline.
For weeks, House and Senate Democrats have urged 10 Senate Republicans to join them in approving the DREAM Act, which would provide green cards and, eventually, naturalized American citizenship to 3.3 million illegal aliens enrolled and eligible for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
In a letter to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), university executives with the Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration suggest DACA illegal aliens are “Americans in every sense but on paper…”
The group is backed by Zuckerberg’s FWD.us and Soros’s Open Society Foundation, as well as the Shapiro Foundation, Carnegie Corporation of New York, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and the Walder Foundation.
“… we write to respectfully urge you to prioritize passing bipartisan legislation before the end of this year to provide permanent protections for DACA recipients and other Dreamers,” the letter states:
If Congress fails to act, employers and communities will lose valuable contributors. Families, including many households of mixed-status individuals with U.S.-born children, will suffer the grievous loss of their homes, businesses, and self-sufficiency. Congress alone can avert this looming crisis by passing bipartisan legislation to protect Dreamers and address other immigration priorities. [Emphasis added]
The letter is signed by executives from:
Rutgers University, Eastern CT State University, Delaware State University, Carleton College, Utah State University, Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, Georgetown University, Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Texas – San Antonio, Guilford College, Antioch College, Broward College, Salt Lake Community College, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Grand Valley State University, SUNY Westchester Community College, Borough of Manhattan Community College – CUNY, University at Albany – SUNY, University of Nevada – Reno, and University of California – Riverside.
All have a vested financial interest in keeping as many young illegal aliens in the United States as well as adding millions more young illegal aliens to the population because university systems are generating about $9 billion in revenue annually via tuition and fees from foreign students.
Specifically, roughly 182,000 illegal aliens of the more than 400,000 illegal aliens enrolled in U.S. universities and colleges are DACA-eligible or DACA-enrolled — making up a significant portion of university systems’ billions in revenue from their foreign student pipeline.
As Breitbart News reported in 2017, a DACA amnesty would open a surge of chain migration — where newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U.S. — ranging from 10 million to 19 million foreign nationals.
A prior Breitbart News analysis found that a DACA amnesty would cost American taxpayers some $115 billion by opening Obamacare rolls to newly legalized illegal aliens. Meanwhile, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has estimated that such an amnesty would cost taxpayers $26 billion.
That same CBO report suggests that about one in five DACA illegal aliens, after an amnesty, would end up on food stamps, while at least one in seven would go on Medicaid.

The recent revelations of Twitter working with the FBI and other government departments and agencies to censor Americans is an extension of the Propaganda State becoming a police state. Like mushrooms sprouting in the dark, the police state has emerged in the Unites States without the mainstream media reporting it. The "Twitter Files" make clear that censorship flourished on Twitter to promote only authorized information from government. A new political age has erupted with coordination by Big Media, Big Tech, and Big Government to control the flow of information and censor all contradictory information. This coordination does not occur overnight. It takes decades of hiring like-minded people and avoiding well qualified or better qualified people who do not share their political views. The authoritarian state is here, and the institutions have been massaged for particular outcomes and political agendas to support the overwhelmingly dominant political force.
News from the mainstream media ignores the rampant crime in cities, social decay, corruption, and economic failure. Government now divides people by race, often citing pervasive racism, though offering little or no evidence to support it beyond propaganda stereotyping police.
The Propaganda State needs to constantly fabricate crimes to enhance its power. Propaganda driven by Big Media and Big Tech is the megaphone to promote Big Government disinformation and indoctrination. This is what the Twitter Files exposed clearly. The FBI is used to censor Americans in the name of national security or preventing "misinformation," using methods of communist dictators Stalin and Mao. We even have a show trial in Pelosi's sham January 6 "unselect committee." There is a political pattern to the political show — two fake impeachments with no substance — like the "show trials" of Stalin in the former USSR. Even the raid on President Trump's home appears fabricated, because every former president has removed millions of documents, and to believe that only President Trump violated the "National Records Act" in removing documents is folly.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was offered and rejected up to 20,000 National Guard troops by President Trump for January 6. January 6 appears to have elements of entrapment because there is video of Capitol Police opening doors and waving people into the Capital Building. Since Nancy Pelosi undoubtedly made the final decision rejecting the presence of the National Guard on January 6, she is primarily responsible for the "break-in" at the Capitol.
J6 Committee propaganda aims to blame President Trump for the debacle. Many citizens are still under arrest for January 6 incident, held without bail. Even juries are suspect in Washington, D.C., a bastion of Democrats, where brainwashing and allegiance to Big Government appear complete. Under Pelosi, the Capitol Police have expanded, opening up offices around the country, spreading federal tentacles closer to the citizenry.
The arm of the Propaganda State has embraced and merged with the police state to target political opponents, including a president of the United States. The Twitter Files lay bare a coordinated effort to silence and censor both a former president and thousands of average Americans in a web of suppression promoting propaganda, a gross violation of freedom of speech. Former FBI agents were hired to assist Twitter in implementing widespread censorship.
The looming police state suppresses freedom and censors in the name of security and "misinformation," using the "terms of service" of social media platforms. The political system is paralyzed, unable or unwilling to decisively to defeat the juggernaut of tyranny descending across the nation.
The ease and speed with which freedom of speech was dismantled — not only on social media platforms, but also in the mainstream media and the colleges — is ominous and justifies the admonition from John Adams in a letter in 1814 to John Taylor: "Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide."
Are there the will and leadership in the nation to prevent the fall of the United States with a viable Constitution intact?

A Foreign Billionaire Funds Dems’ Hunter Biden Defense

“We are proud Americans speaking up against an extreme agenda that is putting money and power over everyday Americans,” Courage for America’s mission statement claims.
If you have any doubt whatsoever that CFA is an American organization, its home page is decorated with a flag draped over a barn. The ‘O’ in its logo even includes flag symbolism.
CFA has announced that it’s “forming a council of proud Americans” to fight Republican investigations into the foreign business dealings of Hunter Biden and the rest of the Biden clan.
Waving the flag to cover up the intimidation of elected officials investigating dirty deals with Chinese and Russian oligarchs is a new low even for Biden and his cronies.
Will Hansjörg Wyss, the Swiss billionaire allegedly backing CFA, be on the council of proud Americans? It would be awkward for the foreign tycoon to sit on a “council of proud Americans” since he is not, as far as even the media has been able to determine, an American citizen.
Instead, he appears to be living in America under an investor visa.
That hasn’t stopped the wealthy European from using his fortune to drastically influence American politics with the complicity of the IRS, the FEC and the rest of the government.
This wouldn’t be the first time that Wyss, who was accused of getting rich while killing patients, has broken the rules. And nothing says “proud Americans” fighting for “every American” like a secretive organization that doesn’t list its staff and appears to be funded by a foreign billionaire.
Wyss co-founded Synthes, a medical device manufacturer focused on repairing broken bones. In 2010, Synthes pled guilty to illegally experimenting on patients: its president, and its spine division president and two other executives were sentenced to prison. Even though a manager testified that Wyss had made the decision not to go through clinical trials, and owned half the company, he was not charged and has gone on funding the extreme causes of the Left.
The 5 Americans who died were not so lucky. Some of the dead, like Barbara Marcelino, showed signs of the cement used by Wyss’ company, in their lungs.
Wyss’ Hub Project has poured its money into everything from Democrat redistricting efforts to automatic voter registration with a massive impact on our elections. But this time the Hub appears to be focused on playing defense for Democrats against GOP investigations.
“Our goal is to go on offense against the new House majority,” said Zac Petkanas, Hillary’s former rapid response director, and a political strategist now working on behalf of Courage for America, bragged. “We are going to be pointing out the things that those investigations are distracting from.”
And who better to distract Americans from those investigations into Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals than a shadowy dark money group allegedly funded by a foreign billionaire?
NBC News has reported that Courage for America has a “seven-figure budget and support from the Hub Project, a giant Democratic dark money network, the group plans a robust operation including polling, paid advertising and social media campaigns, along with traditional opposition research and communications.”
But what NBC didn’t bother to mention was that the Hub Project appears to have been set up by the Wyss Foundation. A complaint by Americans for Public Trust noted in a filing that the Hub Project’s business plan “recommended that the group ‘be solely funded by the Wyss Foundation at the outset’ and that it would work behind the scenes to “dramatically shift the public debate and policy positions of core decision makers.”
Courage for America wants to target the Republican House majority and help Democrats fight off investigations into scandals like Hunter Biden and his foreign business operations.
GOP members of the House Oversight and Reform Committee have found 50 countries where the Biden family has looked into doing business. And they also intend to investigate Joe Biden’s role in some of those ventures. These hearings will potentially look into everything from Hunter’s Chinese-backed cobalt mine deal to a Russian oligarch. And the Democrats will defend against allegations that Biden, his brother and his son engaged in dubious business deals with shady foreign tycoons by turning to yet another shady foreign tycoon.
“The American people need to be introduced and educated about the extremist agenda of this new House and also who these members are,” CFA’s Petkanas blustered.
The CFA is so open that its site doesn’t even mention Petkanas, or Naveed Shah: its spokesman. Not only are CFA’s donors secret, but so are its staff and leadership. Instead of listing its staff, CFA references its “council” to divert attention from who is running the show.
That’s suspicious behavior for an organization that claims that it’s all about transparency. CFA is even working with another group calling itself the Congressional Integrity Project which vows to expose the “reality behind Republicans’ politically motivated oversight and investigations targeting President Biden and Democrats.” Nothing says integrity like a dark money machine helping Biden and his cronies intimidate elected officials investigating his corrupt activities.
The level of coordination between CFA, CIP and the Biden administration was revealed when the Washington Post mentioned that, “while the CIP is not formally tied to the White House, its leaders have spoken with President Biden’s aides and it recently brought on Jeff Peck, a former chief-of-staff to Biden from his time in the Senate.”
Biden appears to be covertly coordinating with a dark money machine group funded by a foreign billionaire to stop investigations into his dealings with foreign business interests.
If that’s not impeachable conduct, what is?
“These are sham investigations,” Kyle Herrig of CIP fumed. “We’re going to leave no stone unturned. No one has done the investigative research we’ve done on these investigators. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.”
“We have a multimillion-dollar budget, and we’re staffing up with a team of researchers and communicators,” he warned.
Where does that “multimillion-dollar budget” come from?
Dark money means that no one knows. The Washington Examiner couldn’t find anyone at CIP’s supposed offices and its spokesperson wouldn’t even provide a name.
This plot to fight investigations into corruption and abuses by the Biden administration has only revived questions about Wyss and his money machine. And the legality of his ongoing efforts to influence our political system for the benefit of the Democrats and the Left.

Our President, The Pathological Liar
A shameful characteristic throughout his whole 52-year political career.
The sad reality is that the President of the United States, Joe Biden, is a pathological liar. This is not a new personality trait for our Commander-in-Chief, but a characteristic that has been apparent throughout his 52-year political career.
Biden has been telling lies, including massive untruths, for decades. It is a major reason he had to exit the 1988 presidential campaign. He lied about his law school grades and plagiarized speeches from United Kingdom Labor Party leader Neil Kinnock.
Regularly, Biden lies about his childhood, his family, his academic career, and his record as a politician.
Does anyone really believe that, as a young lifeguard, he faced off with a “bad dude” named “Corn Pop” who had a “bunch of bad boys” armed with “straight razors?” Biden claimed he used a six-foot chain to force the gang to leave.
Biden pretends he was a tough guy and has boasted that in high school, he would have taken Donald Trump “behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.”
He likes to embellish his career as a college football player and lied about being on the University of Delaware team that beat the Ohio Bearcats. He said he quit the team to date the woman who would become his first wife, but, instead, he was forced to leave due to bad grades.
This week, Biden told a series of lies that are impossible to reconcile. At a town hall meeting with U.S. veterans in Delaware, Biden told a story of awarding a Purple Heart to his uncle, Frank Biden. He said that his uncle had served heroically in the Battle of the Bulge in World War II, and had earned the Purple Heart, but never received it.
He declared he “got” his uncle the Purple Heart after he was elected Vice President in 2008. Biden said he awarded it to his uncle in front of family members. According to Biden, his uncle did not want the award because “the others died, I lived, I don’t want it.”
Of course, as usual, Biden’s story is untrue. His uncle, Frank Biden, died in 1999, nine years before he was elected Vice President. In addition, as noted by the New York Post, “Frank Biden’s tombstone does not identify him as a Purple Heart honoree, nor does his obituary. A partial registry of known Purple Heart recipients also doesn’t note anyone by that name receiving the award.”
In the same speech, Biden insulted the people of Ireland and the country’s descendants living in America by stating “I may be Irish, but I’m not stupid.” So, he thinks the Irish are “stupid?” Isn’t that an example of hate speech?
Thereafter, he tried to show his connections to Italians by asserting “I married Dominic Giacoppa’s daughter. So, you know, I got a little Italian in me now, you know.” Yet, his wife’s father was Donald Jacobs from New Jersey. It was her great-grandfather, Domenic Giacoppo, who immigrated to America from Italy.
In the same speech, Biden lied about the number of times he had visited Iraq and Afghanistan. He said he had been to those combat areas “38, 39 times.” Sadly, this is another lie he has told in the past. His campaign had to admit that he had visited those areas only 21 times.
Biden also lied when he said that he had visited Iraq and Afghanistan “twice as President.” As reported by The Daily Mail, he last visited Iraq in 2016 and Afghanistan in 2011, well before he assumed the presidency in 2021.
The President has often lied about the tragic death of his son, Beau Biden. He died of brain cancer in the United States, but President Biden said he died in “Iraq.”
Biden likes to identify with his audience and will create falsehoods to establish a connection. For example, during a trip to Puerto Rico, he said he was raised in Delaware as a member of the “Puerto Rican community.” Of course, the Puerto Rican community in Delaware during Biden’s upbringing was infinitesimal.
Biden has lied about being “appointed” to the Naval Academy and working as a truck driver. He also created a false history as a demonstrator against injustice. He fabricated an arrest in this country as a civil rights protester and in South Africa as an activist for Nelson Mandela.
In September, Biden told Jewish leaders that he visited the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh after a 2018 antisemitic terrorist attack that killed 11 people. However, he never visited the synagogue and only made a 2019 phone call to the rabbi.
While addressing hurricane victims in Florida, Biden lied about the impact of a lightning strike on his home in Delaware 15 years ago. According to Biden, because of the strike “everything was ruined” and “we almost lost a couple firefighters.”
At the time of the event, the Associated Press reported that impact was minimal, “no one was injured,” and the strike only caused a “small fire that was contained to the kitchen.” The news report indicated that the fire was controlled within 20 minutes.
In the view of conservative commentator Deroy Murdoch, Biden is either a “pathological liar” or “even worse, maybe he really believes that these non-events actually took place. If so, then he is living a life of total fantasy.”
Unfortunately, Biden’s lies are becoming more frequent and more alarming. The United States has a President that cannot differentiate between fiction and reality.
It is a crisis considering the power of the presidency and the array of problems facing our nation, including an invasion at our southern border, a weak economy and an ongoing war in Ukraine that is causing some military experts to worry about the prospect of nuclear war.
It is too dangerous for the United States to be saddled with such a president. If he does not resign, Republicans must begin impeachment proceedings when they take control of the U.S. House of Representatives in January.

Biden claimed that when he was elected vice president in 2008, his father contacted him and asked him to finagle a Purple Heart for his brother, Biden’s uncle Frank. Biden said, “You know, I — my dad, when I got elected Vice President, he said, ‘Joey, Uncle Frank fought in the Battle of the Bulge.’ He was not feeling very well now — not because of the Battle of the Bulge. But he said, ‘And he won the Purple Heart. And he never received it. He never — he never got it. Do you think you could help him get it? We’ll surprise him.’”
The incoming vice president was, of course, happy to get his uncle the recognition he deserved, however belatedly: “So we got him the Purple Heart. He had won it in the Battle of the Bulge. And I remember he came over to the house, and I came out, and he said, ‘Present it to him, okay?’ We had the family there.” Get your handkerchief ready. Biden continued, “I said, ‘Uncle Frank, you won this. And I want to…’ He said, ‘I don’t want the damn thing.’” The crowd laughed, and Biden plowed on: “No, I’m serious. He said, ‘I don’t want it.’ I said, ‘What’s the matter, Uncle Frank? You earned it.’ He said, ‘Yeah, but the others died. The others died. I lived. I don’t want it.’” Biden then attempted to bring his story into the present and initially missed by fifty years: “Just like a generation — this generation in Vietnam — excuse me, in — in Iraq.”
Anyway, what a noble soul was Uncle Frank Biden, eh? There’s just one problem: Frank Biden died in 1999, and Biden’s father, Joe Biden Sr., died in 2002. Yet the putative president claims that this incident took place in 2008, and it hinges upon Vice President Joe, as the national second banana, being able to pull strings to get his uncle the Purple Heart. Maybe this happened years earlier than Biden said it did, and he was pulling strings as a senator rather than as vice president, or maybe it never happened at all.
The latter seems more likely. According to the New York Post, a registry of recipients of the Purple Heart doesn’t include the name Frank Biden, and when Frank died, his obituary contained no mention of his having won this honor. Also, the story is suspiciously similar to one Biden was fond of telling in 2019. He was in Afghanistan as vice president, Biden claimed, to honor a Navy captain who had “rappelled down a 60-foot ravine under fire and retrieved the body of an American comrade, carrying him on his back.” Biden said that when he tried to pin a Silver Star on the captain, “he said, ‘Sir, I don’t want the damn thing! Do not pin it on me, Sir! Please, Sir. Do not do that! He died. He died.” Biden concluded, “This is the God’s truth. My word as a Biden.”
But it wasn’t, of course. Even the Washington Post, ordinarily a tenacious purveyor of Leftist propaganda, stated, “Except almost every detail in the story appears to be incorrect. Based on interviews with more than a dozen U.S. troops, their commanders and Biden campaign officials, it appears as though the former vice president has jumbled elements of at least three actual events into one story of bravery, compassion and regret that never happened.”
The Frank Biden story wasn’t Old Joe’s only lie on Friday. He also claimed, “And, you know, I think that there’s a — I’ve been in and out — not as a, obviously, combatant — but in and out of Afghanistan and Iraq and these areas 38, 39 times as — not as President, only twice as President, but from the time I was a senator, but particularly when I was Vice President.” This was a slight rollback of his claim during his State of the Union address: “I’ve been in and out of Iraq and Afghanistan over 40 times.” In 2019, he said, I’ve been in and out of Afghanistan and Iraq over 30 times.” According to the Washington Post, “his campaign later clarified that the correct number is 21.” Also, he has never visited Afghanistan or Iraq as president.
Joe Biden has made it abundantly clear that he is unprincipled, untrustworthy, and unscrupulous. His faux presidency will be remembered as one of the darkest periods of American history. We can only hope that the damage he leaves behind him will not be completely irreversible.
For four years under President Trump, America enjoyed peace, security, and unparalleled prosperity. Trump's presidency was a historic era of good times in which we began to regain faith in the American Dream. Now we have the nightmare, and the death and destruction that go with it.
Yes, the Trump Era was prosperous, with historically low unemployment rates, low inflation, energy independence, and rising wages. But aside from that, the most important thing about Trump's presidency was the fact that Americans were secure, as they had not been under Obama and certainly are not under Biden. Under Trump, America was in so many senses vibrant and "alive" with pride in our country and hope for its future.
Now we have regular mass shootings in which citizens disarmed by the State have no way to defend themselves. Overseas, we have a war in Ukraine, the threat of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan, and Iran developing nuclear weapons with the encouragement of the Biden administration. The common thread is death and the fear that goes with it. And this does not even include Biden's aggressive defense of abortion on demand.
Under President Trump, I lived without fear. I knew that Trump supported my right to defend my home and that he supported the police who defended me as well. Just having the president and his administration on my side made me breathe easier. America was moving in the right direction, as was confirmed by every opinion poll during Trump's time in office before COVID was unleashed.
Long-term death rates are more a matter of demographics than policy, and they have been rising ever since Obama took office in 2008. But murder rates, deaths in war and civil unrest, drug overdose deaths, and accidental deaths are attributable to policy, and they have been rising under Biden, even during his short time in office. Under Biden, the U.S. murder rate, which had been declining under President Trump, is the highest in 25 years. According to former N.Y. police commissioner Howard Safir, the spike in violence is partly attributable to lack of support for police and soft-on-crime prosecutors. And it is Biden, with his anti-police rhetoric and refusal to prosecute (as in the case of those picketing Justice Kavanaugh's home), who is responsible for this climate of anarchy.
Now I plan my trips carefully, avoid eye contact with strangers, and carry only a driver's license and credit card. I drive inconspicuously as well, given the explosion of road rage incidents.
The most galling thing is that Biden never says a word about the victims of crime unless he can twist the incident into an anti-gun lecture, and he takes no action to protect anyone, especially law-abiding citizens in middle-class neighborhoods like my own. In this and so many other ways, he seems on the side of those who wish to destroy us. It's no accident that murder rates are spiraling at home and war is breaking out overseas. Both are a response to Biden's weakness, and death is the consequence.
I fear there will be more death ahead. I expect an invasion in Taiwan, Moldova, or Finland, and new outbreaks of violence in the Middle East involving either Iran or its surrogates. The incomprehensible Iran deal, which Biden is pushing, would "make Biden 'the biggest funder of terrorism in the world,'" according to Rep. Jim Banks. "Terrorism" is not just a derogatory word; it is the act of murdering innocent human beings, including women and children. Hasn't that fact entered into Biden's Iran deal calculations?
Biden's weakness has emboldened our enemies, and their actions pose a threat to our security. This is the way major wars begin. They can be prevented only by the projection of force of the kind we saw under President Trump, and Biden projects about as much force as a lady's fan. His weakness will get us into another war, and our young men and women will die in that war. There is death hanging over us, and Biden seems oblivious, fumbling with his note cards to find some kind of answer.
There is a new national mood in America unlike anything I've seen since the 1960s: a sense of foreboding and caution based on the very real threat of violence and collapse. There are more threats to our country, including the wealth destruction of inflation, to which Biden simply rolls his eyes, chuckles, and whispers some idiotic riposte. There are more criminal gangs, and Biden just welcomes more in. There is more road rage, more random shooting, more felons out on no bond/low bond. And there is a callous and brutal disregard for the lives of the unborn.
In response to the mounting violence, Biden seems remote, fuddling with his microphone like a man slipping into dementia, and those around him seem inept, if not callous, including his new press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, who is said to have "frequently stumbled" during her first weeks. A president who is weak and advisers who are incompetent and anti-American to boot — that is a recipe for disaster, and disaster will end, as it always does, in poverty, destruction, and death.
There are bullies in the world who watched as Biden stumbled out of Afghanistan, and bullies don't have much respect for doddering fools who just want to survive a four-year term and leave a mess for someone else to clean up.
As a citizen, it is difficult to watch my country besieged by violence. Biden's presidency has been deadly in every respect: turning off economic growth and imposing environmental restrictions, proposing inflation-adjusted cuts in national defense while paying off student loans, and putting citizens at risk with his anti-police rhetoric.
There is little chance of a second Biden term, but just another two and a half years is painful to imagine. How many thousands will lose their lives because of one incompetent and wrong-headed leader? How far will America go into danger and destruction? And how much more difficult will it be for our next president, Trump or a Trump lookalike, to repair the damage and Make America Safe Again?

Poll: Vast Majority Say Congress Should Investigate FBI Involvement in Social Media Censorship
Most likely voters believe Congress should investigate to see if the FBI was involved in social media censorship, a Rasmussen Reports survey released Monday found.
The survey found most, 46 percent, expressing an unfavorable view of the FBI, compared to half who have at least a “somewhat” favorable view. However, most Republicans and independents, 62 percent and 55 percent, respectively, have an unfavorable view.
When asked if it is likely that the FBI actively “encouraged social media sites like Facebook and Twitter to ‘suppress, silence, or reduce the reach of certain political speech and speakers,’” 63 percent said it is likely, and of those, 43 percent said “very” likely. Even a majority of Democrats, 52 percent, agree that it is likely.
Most, 63 percent overall, believe the U.S. Congress should “investigate whether the FBI was involved in censoring information on social media sites.” That includes 52 percent of Democrats, 75 percent of Republicans, and 63 percent of independents.

Perhaps what is more, a majority, 53 percent, of those surveyed believe that there is “a group of politicized thugs at the top of the FBI who are using the FBI … as Joe Biden’s personal Gestapo.”
The survey was taken December 19-21, 2022, among 900 likely U.S. voters and has a +/- 3 percent margin of error.
The survey comes on the heels of the release of November 23, 2022, deposition of Dr. Anthony Fauci as part of the lawsuit against the Biden administration and federal government, accusing federal bureaucrats of being “in collusion with social media companies” that “want to control not only what you think, but especially what you say,” as described by Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry (R). During that deposition, Fauci claimed to not recall 174 times.

CNN anchor Jake Tapper said Tuesday on his show “The Lead” that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) were protecting “anti-American” big tech monopolies.
Tapper said, “It can be more telling in what the congressional leaders left out of the massive $1.7 trillion spending bill unveiled today than what they included. I’m thinking of specifically two pieces of the bipartisan anti-trust legislation to try to rein in the big tech monopolies. One of the bills was bipartisan from Senators Amy Klobuchar and Chuck Grassley. It would stop companies like Apple, Amazon, Meta and Google, which critics say are clearly monopolies, from giving preference to their own products, and burying other products.”
He continued, “There is another bill from Marsha Blackburn that would loosen the stranglehold that comes to apps that allows them to crush competition.”
Tapper added, “Neither of these bills even got a vote on the floor of the U.S. Senate. Similar bills in the House were also denied votes on the floor of the House. The app store bill on the House did not even get marked up in its committee. Why? Well, often, the leaders deny the opportunity for votes for bills that they are afraid will actually pass. Sources familiar with this fight tell me that the congressional leaders, Democrats and Republicans seemed eager to run out the clock. Now it might be cynical to note the number relatives of members of Congress and former top staffers who have coincidentally found lucrative jobs in the tech sector, but it is certainly relevant to observe that these tech companies represent one of the biggest sources of campaign funds for the Democratic Party, which fancies itself as standing up for the little guy against corporate behemoths, but in this case not so much. It might also be worth observing that despite all the anti-big tech rhetoric we hear from Republicans, who are currently casting themselves as populists, very few Republicans, Grassley, Blackburn and Congressman Ken Buck excepted, seem at all interested in standing up to monopolies.”
He continued, “For these two bills, this was a ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ type slaughter. Everyone’s fingerprints are on the knife…The fingerprints of the leaders Schumer and McConnell, Speaker Pelosi, Leader McCarthy, plus a bunch of California House Democrats that represent big tech.”
Tapper concluded, “These big tech monopolies and their anti-competition, and dare I say anti-American way they govern the businesses, and I’m not talking about Twitter, but Apple, Google, and Amazon, and what they are doing is arguably a more important and significant story.”
