Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) has had a “distinguished career in the U.S. Senate,” the New York Times editorial board said on Friday, adding, however, that she “should resign and turn over her responsibilities to an appointed successor.”
The 89-year-old senator, planning to retire at the end of her current term, has been absent from work since early 2023 as she was hospitalized with shingles. She has missed more than 90 votes in her absence and has given the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee the ability to stall some of President Joe Biden’s court nominees.
The Friday editorial board acknowledged that Feinstein, the oldest Senate member, has had a distinguished career in the upper chamber but said that “if she cannot fulfill her obligations to the Senate and to her constituents, she should resign and turn over her responsibilities to an appointed successor.”
“If she is unable to reach that decision on her own, Mr. Schumer, the majority leader, and other Democratic senators should make it clear to her and the public how important it is that she do so,” the editorial said. “Under the circumstances, Mr. Schumer should turn up the public pressure on her to return or resign, setting aside the antique Senate gentility that can hobble common-sense decision-making there.”

Additionally, the editorial board pointed to a report from last year in the San Francisco Chronicle, her hometown newspaper, that revealed Feinstein’s “memory has so deteriorated that she can no longer fulfill her job duties” and that her colleagues have even acknowledged that she “cannot keep up with conversations … [and] doesn’t seem to fully recognize other senators and relies almost entirely on staff members.”
The editorial board recognized that some of the past calls for her to resign had been called “sexist” but that senators have a “primary and inescapable duty” to show up and vote, which Feinstein has been unable do while she has recovered from shingles.
“Senate seats are not lifetime sinecures, and if members can’t effectively represent their constituents or work for the benefit of their country, they should not hesitate to turn the job over to someone who can. Ms. Feinstein owes California a responsible decision,” the editorial concluded.
On Thursday, before the editorial was published, Feinstein released a statement, giving no indication when she will return to the Senate, defending her absence and claiming there has been “no slowdown” of judicial nominees while she is slowly recovering.
Instead, the Biden family name has really stood for only two things: buffoonery and corruption. For fifty years, Joe Biden has managed to hold onto some slice of power in D.C. as a senator, vice president, and Oval Office stooge not because he is renowned for his erudition or virtue but rather because his doltish behavior and venal character make him ideal for others to control. Perhaps no other Washington relic has accomplished so little for the American people over such a prolonged government career or managed to harness those defects for lucrative advancement more successfully than China Joe.

On February 2, Americans were treated to the spectacle of a giant balloon floating over Montana wilderness that would go on to traverse the entire length of the United States. Of Chinese origin, this giant balloon was loaded with what appeared to be potential reconnaissance or communications equipment. Depending on what side of the political aisle observers were on, there was one of two responses from the public: First, shoot it down. We don’t appreciate foreign adversaries using espionage tools or potential weapons overhead. Second, Biden did the right thing by ensuring it was over open waters before dispatching it. It’s normal, they flew over during the Trump administration as well.
For myself, I fall squarely into the shoot-it-down camp. There is something intrusive about a foreign object the width of several school buses entering my personal space that demands a decisive response. Given the sparse population of Montana, it seemed the appropriate time to dispatch it while above remote territory with the least risk to bystanders below. The concern wasn’t so much that China was gathering intelligence from above as some other potential for a weaponized payload like explosives, bioweapons, or an electromagnetic pulse device. The Chinese have no shortage of satellites or technology required to spy on Americans. Most Americans have willingly adopted Chinese manufactured and even branded surveillance technology into their homes, myself included.
I consider myself an early technology adopter. I was an alpha tester of Amazon’s first Echo home speaker device. An entire global library of music on-demand? Yes, please! What would follow is a connected home of lights, switches, thermostats, sprinkler controllers, alarm systems, cameras, etc. The convenient control over one’s home that technology allows is fantastic. But it has come at a cost.
During my foray into writing, one of the first articles I penned concerned the Faustian bargain we enter into when we trade privacy for convenience. The crux of this dilemma is that the parties we enter into these agreements with have ulterior motives.
Take social media, for example. We traded free personal connections online for a seat at the table in our daily lives. Technology corporations performed massive data mining campaigns to paint a picture of your entire life. They know who you are, your family and friends, your interests and hobbies, your jobs and colleagues, and your daily habits from sun up to sun up. They’re even listening while you sleep.
Once these corporations were firmly entrenched in our lives, they began to apply social pressure to engineer society in their twisted mold. From campaigns regarding topics such as diversity, equity, and inclusion, to election interference like that of the Center for Tech and Civic Life, to silencing political dissent by censorship or steering press coverage in manners favorable to themselves, big tech utilized the monetized data that they controlled against those they’d taken it from.
But I’m different. I have nothing to hide. Right? This is a common retort when debating the merits of privacy with the average American. It’s a good thing they have nothing to hide because they’ve given up any possible place to hide. I started my blog, WithdrawConsent.org, to explore withdrawing consent from a system and society that had abused it. A part of that process was taking back control over my personal information, including what parts of my life I allow the rest of the world into.
A few years ago, I installed a Firewalla on my home network. A Firewalla is an inexpensive home firewall device that is easy to set up and has a minimal footprint on my home network performance without ongoing subscription costs. It allowed me to secure my home network from outside threats and gave me a picture of what was happening with devices inside my home network. What I learned raised some serious red flags.
At some point, my wife found a Shark Robotic vacuum on clearance at the store. Excitedly, she set it up on our home network, and it went to work mapping out its cleaning path. Unfortunately, the Firewalla began to set off alarms at odd times, suggesting that the Shark Vacuum was uploading a data feed to Shenzen, China. Regardless of how innocuous this could be, I find no reason why any home appliance needs to send data it collects in my home to servers in China. I took the Shark vacuum off our network, and we got rid of it. We exchanged it for a different model with no data connection that works only on light detection and ranging, or lidar, to determine its path.
Recently, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology published an article demonstrating how one woman’s Roomba vacuum took pictures of her sitting on the toilet, and they were published on the internet. Sometimes what seems innocuous is quite dangerous. It was for this reason that I took a deeper look at what devices on my home network were uploading data to the internet. I found that the most egregious offenders were smart televisions and speakers. For the televisions, we turned off the wifi and utilize separate devices for streaming. In the case of the smart speakers, the simple solution was to disable the hardware microphone buttons on top. While inconvenient, it completely stopped the data uploads until we want to utilize the speakers.
The elephant in the room on intelligent devices and privacy intrusion is the smartphone. Most of us have them, and most of us make exceptions for the smartphone to maintain communications with family and friends. Though there are solutions to increase privacy, such as choosing a privacy-oriented device like a de-googled phone or installing privacy-focused software, your privacy only goes so far as the vendors whose apps and services you utilize. I will soon be getting rid of my Samsung phone because they consistently solicit me to accept changes to their privacy terms of service and to install their adware to earn money for globalist charities.
When adversarial nations fly unidentified objects over our borders, we’re paralyzed by the threat. Meanwhile, most of us whitewash the daily micro-intrusions we accept at a much more frequent pace. At issue is not the absence or the presence of personal indiscretions. At issue is the incremental nature of our daily concessions until we’re left with no privacy at all.

America’s China Dependency Syndrome Lessons from the USSR. Lloyd Billingsley
““We cannot outsource our independence,” the president said last Monday. “We cannot be reliant on foreign nations. I’ve been saying this for a long time. If we’ve learned one thing it’s let’s do it here, let’s build it here, let’s make it here.”
“Made in China” has been a familiar label on products for years but it wasn’t until March of 2020 that Americans learned of the perils that might entail. China threatened to impose export controls on pharmaceuticals that would plunge America into “the mighty sea of coronavirus.”
Sen. Marco Rubio told reporters the United States was “dangerously reliant” on China for critical goods, including parts for technologies needed to fight COVID-19. Since 2004, Chinese pharmaceutical companies have been supplying 80-90 percent of U.S. antibiotics. Americans might wonder how they landed in such a dependent position, and that invites a comparison with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
The world’s first socialist state, established in the world’s largest nation, never produced a single product the West wanted or needed. For all its vast natural resources, the USSR was an economic basket case, and by the mid-1980s in serious trouble.
Suppose that some U.S. senator had then offered a trade deal that ignored the regime’s human rights violations and allowed state-owned Soviet companies to manufacture goods for the American market, all marked “Made In the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.” These would include vital pharmaceuticals and the deal would allow the use of Soviet steel, and Soviet labor, in major infrastructure projects in the United States.
The deal would impose no review of human rights and impose no conditions for democratic reforms, supervised multi-party elections and such. All that, and more, is already a done deal with China, like the USSR a one-party Communist dictatorship that never produced a single product the United States needs. This has come about, in large part, due to U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein, San Francisco Democrat.
On a visit to Shanghai in 2006 Feinstein told James Areddy of the Wall Street Journal, “I’ve been coming to China for 31 years, so I’m not a newcomer.” That would put her first visit in 1975, one year before the death of the Great Helmsman Mao Zedong his own self. Feinstein was then a San Francisco supervisor, and as mayor struck up a sister-city relationship with Shanghai. On the 2006 trip Feinstein spent time with former Shanghai mayor Zhu Rongji, “a good friend.”
Areddy asked about the Tiananmen Square massacre then turning 21. Feinstein said it was a “a great setback for China in the view of the world,” a public-relations problem for China, not a human rights issue. “It was just the PLA (People’s Liberation Army)” and China “learned lessons from it.” Still, Feinstein admitted, “we did not discuss it.”
As Ben Weingarten noted in the Federalist in 2018, Sen. Feinstein’s ties to China are “way deeper” than any Chinese spy in her office. Feinstein maintained a “strictly apologist line” on China’s human rights atrocities, and Feinstein’s husband has “profited handsomely” during her career in the Senate. Sen. Feinstein “served as a key intermediary between China and the U.S. government, while serving on committees whose work would be of keen interest to the PRC.” For two decades and three election cycles, Feinstein harbored a Chinese spy who fed “political intelligence” to Beijing’s Communist regime. Since that article, the dossier has grown longer.
As Rosemarie Ho noted in The Nation, Dianne Feinstein failed to support the democracy protesters in Hong Kong. When the coronavirus hit these shores, Feinstein was uncritical of China and one of the first to cry “racism” against those who pointed out the pandemic’s origin in Wuhan, China.
Ben Weingarten wondered how a motivated and empowered prosecutor would operate if tasked to explore “any links and/or coordination” between the Chinese government, Feinstein and individuals associated with her office. Such an investigation never took place with Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the most servile apologist of Communist China since Anna Louise Strong, and certainly the most influential. On the other hand, Donald Trump was thoroughly investigated for “collusion” with Russia, which turned out to be a hoax.
It was the president’s tweet that brought Feinstein’s Chinese spy to public attention. President Trump has access to all U.S. intelligence, a major reason domestic and foreign foes alike are desperately trying to remove him from office. In his April 19 press conference, the president called the upper reaches of the DOJ and FBI “human scum,” and their inattention to Feinstein, Hillary Clinton and other high-profile Democrats confirms that the rot continues.
President Trump is now throwing down with the invisible enemy of coronavirus and making progress despite opposition from Democrats and their media allies. As they parrot Chinese propaganda, the president has already started the decoupling process.

Last February, Dr. Gal Luft, a retired Israel Defense Forces lieutenant colonel with deep intelligence ties in Washington and Beijing, was arrested as an alleged gun runner. At the time, he claimed the arrest was to stop him from revealing what he knows about the Biden crime family and FBI corruption. Now, Dr. Luft has disappeared entirely.
In the early 2000s, Luft formed a think tank called the Institute for Analysis of Global Security (IAGS) that focused on energy innovations and policy. Accordingly, from 2015 to 2018, Luft organized international energy conferences. He did this in partnership, with the China Energy Fund Committee (CEFC-USA), the non-profit arm of CEFC, China’s huge energy conglomerate that was headed by one Ye Jianming. Ye reportedly has ties to Chinese military intelligence. CEFC-USA, in turn, was headed by Patrick Ho.
According to documents in the laptop, the Biden family began their ties with CEFC in 2015. In May 2017 … the Bidens formed Sinohawk Holdings to carry out their partnership with CEFC. CEFC agreed to pay Sinohawk $5 million andtransfer another $5 million to the Biden family as a gift. (Emphasis added.)
Hunter met with Ye, over a private dinner in early February 2017, at which the CEFC chairman made him a generous offer of $10 million a year, for a minimum of three years.
The funds, suspiciously, were earmarked for “introductions alone.”
Later in the summer of 2017, Ye was concerned that Patrick Ho might be under investigation and asked Hunter Biden for help. Hunter told the New Yorker that he agreed to represent Ho and to “try to figure out” if he was under scrutiny by law enforcement.
So where does Gal Luft fit into this? In February 2023, Gal Luft found himself detained in Cyprus on arms trafficking charges as he was about to head for Israel. He claimed that this was politically motivated because had dirt on both the FBI and the Biden family. He’d tried to inform the DOJ in 2019, during Trump’s presidency, but was ignored. Now, though, with things heating up around Biden, says Luft, he’s being silenced.
He contends that Hunter Biden had an FBI mole named “One-Eye.” That mole told Ye and Ho that the DOJ was investigating them. Further, said Luft,
Soon after that tipoff, Ye offered Hunter $1 million to be his “private counsel” and flew to China, leaving his wife, daughter, son, mother, and nanny in his $50 million penthouse at 15 Central Park West.
He was detained in Shanghai three months later and disappeared.
Before he left New York, Ye told Ho that the coast was clear for him to come back to the US.
On Nov. 18, 2017, Ho flew into JFK Airport, where he was arrested by FBI agents on bribery and money laundering charges.
Ho’s arrest provided another shady business opportunity for Hunter. From the same article:
“Hunter was paid $1 million by CEFC to represent Ho, which entailed contacting his FBI sources on Ho’s behalf and engaging another attorney to do the legal work, according to emails on his laptop.”
Luft claims he contacted the DOJ after Ho was jailed and federal investigators flew to Brussels to interview him in the presence of his attorney Robert Henoch for more than 18 hours on March 28 and 29, 2019. (Emphasis added.)
While the Hunter info is interesting, what’s really significant is that Luft told the DOJ that an FBI insider was “selling sealed U.S. law enforcement information to Chinese individuals”—and the DOJ didn’t care.
Now, though, Congressman Comer’s House Oversight Committee has been investigating Luft’s claims:
In a March 2 interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox, Comer referred to Luft as “the straw that broke the camel’s back.” He said that after word got out of Luft’s arrest, “we’ve had three people that were involved in the Hunter Biden shady business schemes that have communicated with my committee staff.”
The reason Luft’s information mattered so much is that it helped explain the money Hunter Biden was bringing in, As Robert Henoch, Luft’s lawyer said,
“Congress has the Biden bank records but it doesn’t know the reason for the payments. Now it does. The information that the whistleblower Dr. Luft gave the DOJ four years ago is the missing link for the reason behind the China-Biden money transfers. Clearly, this is explosive stuff.” (Emphasis added.)
It was this information, which lay dormant in the DOJ for so many years that was the predicate to Luft’s arrest on what he claims are trumped-up charges of arms trafficking to China and Libya and violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act. One must ask why, if Luft was such a notorious gun runner, he wasn’t arrested over four years ago in March 2019 when he spent 18 hours telling FBI agents everything he knew about the Bidens and Hunter.
Moreover, while the warrant was issued in November 2022, and it spells out heinous crimes, Luft wasn’t arrested for another three months:
The government issued its arrest warrant in November. It has a cooperative agreement and relationship with the Israeli Ministry of Justice and state prosecution. And yet, it didn’t communicate the arrest warrant to Israel. Israeli officials could have arrested and investigated Luft at any time. (Emphasis added.)
That long delay, standing alone, is suspicious. Immediately after his arrest, Luft went public about his claims regarding the FBI, the Bidens, and China:
Luft’s arrest prompted concern for his safety. On March 23, former congressman Steve King shared his worries on Twitter:
King may have been right to worry. Things took a sinister turn at the end of March. Luft, who was being held in a Cyprus jail awaiting a hearing to determine if he should be extradited to the United States, was released on bail after finally securing the necessary funds. And then he disappeared:
In March, a Cypriot court deliberating a US extradition request had instructed him to surrender his passport to authorities and post 400,000 euros as bail before being released from custody. He was also required to register at the Paphos police station weekly but failed for the past month and did not appear for three trial dates. Luft’s car was found abandoned on the island a day after his disappearance was reported.

In Court, Hunter Biden Cries Poor to Reduce Child Support Payments

BATESVILLE, Ark.—Hunter Biden’s lawyers painted him as financially strapped in his first appearance in an Arkansas court on Monday, as he sought to get his child support payments to his former mistress and their four-year-old daughter reduced.
The president’s son, who made millions of dollars off deals and cushy board positions for foreign companies in the past decade, now has no salary, had his Porsche repossessed, and was forced to sleep on a cot in his father’s room during a recent presidential trip to Dublin, Biden’s lawyers told the court. He has also stooped to taking financial support from a generous friend, Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris, the court heard on Monday.
Biden, wearing a tight-fitting dark navy suit, appeared dejected as he walked into the county court room in small-town Batesville, Arkansas, as a passing train whistled down the street. He was flanked by D.C. super lawyer Abbe Lowell, who recently joined Biden’s legal team in the custody case.
Lowell said Biden is paying Lunden Alexis Roberts $20,000 per month in child support under an agreement they reached in 2020, shortly after President Joe Biden launched his presidential campaign. Lowell said Biden has paid Roberts at least $750,000 over the past few years.
The hearing came days after Arkansas Circuit Court judge Holly Meyer ordered Biden and his child’s mother, Roberts, to appear for all future court dates, arguing that their absences are needlessly delaying the case. "I expect this case to get done," Meyer said on Monday. "I will run herd on you ladies and gentlemen until that happens."
Biden's lawyers objected to attempts by Roberts's team to frame him as privileged and wealthy, arguing that he has only traveled on Air Force One one time and "stayed on a cot in his dad's room in Dublin" during their recent Ireland visit. Biden no longer owns a Porsche, and his lawyer Brent Langdon indicated it was repossessed. Biden now drives an unspecified car given to him by celebrity lawyer Kevin Morris.
His lawyers did not respond to a Washington Free Beacon request for more information on the Porsche.
During the hearing, Biden’s lawyers said his only income is a percentage of his art sales from a New York gallery and that Biden is unable to provide a list of who has bought his paintings and how much they are worth. Lowell said Biden doesn’t know the names of any of the buyers under an agreement with the gallery, which is intended to avoid political influence-peddling.
Morris also gave Biden other financial assistance, according to a promissory note cited by Roberts’s legal team. When asked why, Lowell said, "I think the answer will be because he’s a friend and cares about the client."
The judge ordered both parties to turn over the requested records by May 12 and warned them that "incomplete answers are not answers."
"If you come saying you want to reduce your child support, you need to show me why," Meyer said.
Roberts's lawyers have previously taken issue with his attempt to reduce his child support, arguing that his team of high-priced attorneys shows he can afford the payments.
Biden has retained "some of the most expensive attorneys on planet Earth," according to a motion filed by Roberts last Thursday, including former Arkansas attorney general Dustin McDaniel, Lowell, and Morris.
"If Mr. Biden can afford a Washington DC, Hollywood, Chicago big law, and the best domestic relations attorney on the Texas side of the Texarkana border, he surely must have income for child support purposes," wrote Roberts’s attorney Clint Lancaster in the filing.
Biden's daughter with Roberts was born in 2019. He initially denied the baby was his, but a court-ordered paternity test showed he was the father. The Biden family does not publicly acknowledge the child. President Biden has repeatedly claimed—including last week—that he has just six grandchildren, omitting the four-year-old girl from the list.
Both parties have delayed turning over documents to the other side, including a number of financial records that Roberts has requested from Biden.
Hunter Biden has been ordered to appear at all future court dates.
The Justice Department has been investigating President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden for a long time. The probe began in 2018, before the elder Biden even decided to run for president. It is now in its fifth year. Hunter Biden has not been charged with any wrongdoing. The investigation continues.
What has taken so long? We’ve all heard about the younger Biden making millions from shady business associations in Ukraine, China and other countries. He didn’t pay taxes on much of it, and only paid his tax bill when a new friend in Hollywood, Kevin Morris, who also just happens to be a big donor to Joe Biden’s campaign, stepped in to pay the back taxes — about $2 million — as well as Hunter’s sky-high living expenses. The idea was that Morris’ largesse would allow Hunter to say to the Justice Department: “Look, I paid my taxes. I’m clean. Let’s move on.”
Hunter Biden also retained a new, high-powered legal team, plus an aggressive public relations team, and in January, the New York Times reported that the Justice Department, in the person of the U.S. attorney in Delaware, David Weiss, was moving toward letting Hunter off easy. From the Times, on Jan. 11: “Mr. Weiss, people familiar with the investigation say, appears to be focused on a less politically explosive set of possible charges stemming from [Biden’s] failure to meet filing deadlines for his 2016 and 2017 tax returns, and questions about whether he falsely claimed at least $30,000 in deductions for business expenses.”
That’s a slap on the wrist! What a deal! If the leak was true — and who knows exactly what path it took into the New York Times — then Hunter Biden was heading toward a very happy ending to his corruption investigation. The probe would take years and years and then … fizzle out.
How exactly might that happen? Now there is a new story that could help explain what has been going on. A whistleblower has emerged from inside the Internal Revenue Service, which has been working with the Justice Department on the Hunter Biden investigation. The whistleblower is a career IRS criminal supervisory special agent who has retained a lawyer and written a letter to Congress claiming the Biden administration is interfering with the investigation into the president’s son.
The anonymous special agent retained a lawyer, Mark Lytle, who took the matter to the inspectors general of both the IRS and the Justice Department. Now, Lytle has written to the Republican and Democratic leaders of the House and Senate tax and judiciary committees. According to the letter, the special agent can detail “examples of preferential treatment and politics improperly infecting decisions and protocols that would normally be followed by career law enforcement professionals in similar circumstances if the subject were not politically connected.” The special agent can also tell about “clear conflicts of interest” as well as possible false testimony to Congress about the case.
Now the whistleblower wants to tell the story to Congress — but only if he can secure the “appropriate legal protections.” “Despite serious risks of retaliation,” Lytle wrote, “my client is offering to provide you with information necessary to exercise your constitutional oversight function.” In addition, Lytle said, the special agent wants to give information to Congress “in a non-partisan manner,” which is why the letter was sent to both Republican and Democratic lawmakers.
It would be an understatement to say that Republicans on the Hill gave the whistleblower letter a positive reception. It’s a “game changer,” Senate Judiciary Committee member Lindsey Graham told Fox News recently. “This is somebody in the IRS at a high level who apparently is willing to come forward to tell Congress that during the investigation of Hunter Biden, there was obstruction, there was a thumb on the scale to the point that they feel they need to let the Congress know if this is true. And I don’t know yet, but if this is true, if the Department of Justice yet again puts their thumb on the scale politically, then all hell is going to break out and there will be hell to pay.”
It should be said that Graham can be a big talker, but there is no doubt that if the whistleblower’s allegations — whatever they are — are both true and significant, they could make big waves in the Hunter Biden investigation, which House Republicans frequently point out is really a Joe Biden investigation. Realizing the risk, some Democrats are cautiously saying they want to know more about the whistleblower’s story.
What else could they say? Three years ago, Democrats went to the barricades to defend an anonymous CIA employee who filed a legally baseless whistleblower complaint against then-President Donald Trump in the Ukraine matter. It was legally baseless because there is no legal process for filing a whistleblower complaint against the president of the United States. There is no inspector general, no supervisor, who has the authority to investigate the president.
Nevertheless, House Democrats embraced the whistleblower and his complaint all the way to Trump’s first impeachment. They did that because they could; in the House of Representatives, the majority can do what it wants. Now Republicans have the majority in the House, and another whistleblower escapade could be coming into view.

Exclusive: Hunter Biden’s Lawyer Controls Entity with 10% Stake in Chinese State-Backed Investment Fund
Kevin Morris, Hunter Biden’s lawyer, controls an entity with a ten percent stake in BHR Partners, a Chinese state-backed investment fund founded just days after Hunter and President Joe Biden visited China in 2013, a source confirmed Friday to Breitbart News.
After pressure increased on Hunter Biden to divest from BHR Partners due to a conflict of interest upon Joe Biden assuming the White House, Hunter Biden’s lawyer told the New York Times in the fall of 2021 that his client “no longer holds any interest, directly or indirectly in either BHR or Skaneateles.”
Skaneateles LLC, the entity which owns ten percent of BHR Partners, according to Chinese public records from Baidu, was controlled by Hunter as the sole governor until its dissolution in September 2021, a Washington, DC, registration indicated.
But new documents obtained by Breitbart News, first revealed by nonprofitMarco Polo, show the control of Skaneateles LLC is being held by Kevin Morris, Hunter’s top attorney, who also paid Hunter’s IRS debts.
In a document entitled, “AMENDED AND RESTATED JOINT VENTURE CONTRACT of BHR PARTNERS (SHANGHAI) EQUITY INVESTMENT FUND MANAGEMENT CO., LTD. A FOREIGN-FUNDED ENTERPRISE,” Kevin Morris is listed as the Managing Member of Skaneateles LLC.
The document shows Skaneateles LLC holds a ten percent stake in BHR Partners, equivalent to $3 million.
Breitbart News also obtained a copy of an email with the subject line, “Signing Instructions,” sent by a BHR Partners’ company email address from the name Heng-Yin Zhang to Jimmy Bulger, who is a Biden family longtime business partner. Hunter Biden previously was a BHR Partners board member with Bulger.
Bulger’s firm, Thornton Group LLC, is deeply connected with business in China. Thornton Group LLC is also listed in the agreement, the document shows.
“We have mailed you the documents for signing (Fedex tracking no.: 8137 6269 8141 0448). We would like to share with you the signing instructions of the documents in the order of their placements inside the envelope we send to you,” an email reads to Bulger from Heng-Yin Zhang, an individual with a BHR Partners’ email address.
Breitbart News confirmed and authenticated the venture contract and the “Signing Instructions” email with a source with knowledge of the transaction. In addition, the source confirmed “Kevin Morris is the ‘managing partner’ of Skaneateles, LLC’ and that ‘Skaneateles has a 10 percent stake in the [BHR] venture.'”
“Yes, sir. Confirmation is correct,” the individual with knowledge of the transaction told Breitbart News.
These revelations may contradict what Hunter Biden’s lawyer previously stated. His counsel indicated Hunter Biden no longer had any interest in BHR Partners “directly or indirectly.” It’s possible these documents indicate those claims are patently false.

Hunter Biden’s ex-mistress Lunden Alexa Roberts is asking a court to force the president's son to disclose who is paying for his "stable of American super lawyers," arguing that his high-priced legal team contradicts his claim that he can’t afford to pay child support.
Biden has retained "some of the most expensive attorneys on planet Earth," according to a motion filed by Roberts in an Arkansas court on Thursday, including former Arkansas attorney general Dustin McDaniel, prominent Washington fixer Abbe Lowell, and Hollywood celebrity lawyer Kevin Morris.
"If Mr. Biden can afford a Washington DC, Hollywood, Chicago big law, and the best domestic relations attorney on the Texas side of the Texarkana border, he surely must have income for child support purposes," wrote Roberts’s attorney Clint Lancaster in the filing.
The motion, if approved by the court, could be another political headache for Hunter Biden, who has fought to shield his financial records during the years-long custody battle with Roberts, the mother of his four-year-old daughter. It comes days after the judge ordered both Biden and Roberts to personally attend all future hearings.
"Mr. Biden claims to be nothing more than a Yale educated attorney/artist who is somewhat financially destitute and needs his child support adjusted," added Lancaster. "However, for an artist living on meager means, Mr. Biden is living lavishly."
Biden reached a child support settlement with Roberts shortly after his father, President Joe Biden, launched his presidential campaign in 2020. He is now arguing for reducing those payments.

Roberts recently asked the court to allow her to change their daughter’s last name to "Biden," arguing that the prestige of the name would benefit the child. Biden is fighting the motion, claiming the move would be damaging to the tot due to the "scorn in the community for the Biden name."
In the disclosure motion on Thursday, Roberts’s attorneys argued that disclosures about Biden’s legal payments would "show that there is no difficulty that a person with the last name ‘Biden’ cannot fix with a Biden-paid or funded attorney"—bolstering support for Roberts’s name-change request.
Family law attorney Peter M. Walzer told the Washington Free Beacon that Biden’s objection to the name change was "very uncommon" and unlikely to succeed in court.
"I’ve never seen a litigation where a father didn’t want the [child] to take his name," said Walzer. "This is pretty unique."
The next hearing is scheduled for Monday. Arkansas Circuit Court judge Holly Meyer ordered Biden and Roberts to show up, saying their absences are causing delays in the case.
Meyer issued the order after Biden's attorney was unable to answer whether Biden owned the abandoned laptop that became a subject of controversy during the 2020 election. Financial records discovered on the laptop have become an issue in the custody dispute.

In December, the lawyers for the out-of-wedlock child’s mother filed a motion to change the child’s last name to Biden, saying, “The Biden name is now synonymous with being well educated, successful, financially acute, and politically powerful.”
Hunter’s lawyers claimed there was no “strict proof thereof that such request is in the best interest of the child.”
Hunter’s paternity dispute is ongoing and multifaceted. Lunden Roberts, the child’s mother, accused Hunter Biden on Friday of ignoring a previous court order by withholding financial information following his attempt to reduce his child support payments.

'Not Normal': Biden Turns White House Into Housing Option for Extended Family

No president in decades has had as many adult relatives taking up residence in the White House than President Joe Biden, who has reportedly turned the official residence into a free housing option for his extended family.
In addition to his son Hunter Biden, who is rumored to be living at the residence to avoid getting served with legal papers in his messy child custody battle, the president’s granddaughter Naomi and her then-fiance Peter Neal also lived at the White House for "a few months" last fall, the couple toldVogue last year. The New York Times noted in passing in a report about their lavish White House wedding that "Ms. Biden and Mr. Neal live at the White House, according to two people familiar with their situation."
Presidential historian Tevi Troy told the Washington Free Beacon that Biden having adult children and other relatives living at the White House is "not normal," but also "not unheard of" in the modern era.
He noted that former president Barack Obama's mother-in-law stayed at the residence "in large part to help with childcare," while former president Harry Truman "had his mother-in-law live in the White House, mostly for nagging." He said former president Gerald Ford's kids, who were in their 20s when their father left office, "were around the White House a lot" as well.
But Biden's relatives appear to be living at the White House for convenience. Naomi Biden, Hunter Biden's oldest child, told Vogue last year that she and her fiance moved into the White House because their apartment lease ran out, and the magazine described their descent from "their living quarters on the third floor of the White House residence to practice their first dance."
With 16 bedrooms, 35 bathrooms, a full-time chef and a team of staff, the White House is far more extravagant than even the $12,000-per-month Hollywood Hills home that Hunter Biden lived in three years ago while refusing to pay child support.
Naomi Biden and her husband lived in a suite on the third floor of the residence, the same level where former president Zachary Taylor reportedly housed slaves. The floor has been modernized and now features a gym, a billiards room, a solarium, and a room where Hillary Clinton housed her Eleanor Roosevelt memorabilia.
"I try to remind myself it’s the White House, but it also gets normalized over time," Naomi Biden said. She and her husband were also married on the White House's South Lawn, the first time a president's grandchild has used the Executive Mansion as a wedding venue.
These living arrangements could pose a security risk because the extended family members have easy access to the West Wing and White House offices where sensitive business is conducted, according to former White House ethics counsel Richard Painter.
"The problem is that people who stay in the residence with the president have access to the entire building," Painter told the Free Beacon. "There’s nobody sitting at a guard desk keeping you from going from the residence to the West Wing."
Painter said family members living at the house "should be staying out of the West Wing unless they’re accompanied" by the president or authorized staff.
"What you don’t want is family members just drifting on down there on their own or even being invited down there and getting involved in official meetings," he added. "They need to stay away from U.S. government business."
The Bidens are no strangers to housing drama. After Hunter Biden's affair with his late brother's widow Hallie ended badly in Delaware, he fled to California where he said he spent weeks holed up in a luxury Chateau Marmont hotel suite, where he cooked crack on the stove. President Biden's niece, Caroline, turned to her family to help her find housing while serving probation for credit card theft—time she wanted to spend in Los Angeles, the Free Beaconreported. Hunter Biden was tasked by the family to find her an apartment in California, but he failed to do so.
Naomi Biden and her husband have recently moved out of the White House to live in nearby Georgetown, the neighborhood she grew up in as a child, according to a source familiar with the couple.
According to the New York Post, her father Hunter Biden has been repeatedly spotted boarding Marine One for weekend and official trips out of town with his father, fueling a "rumor in Washington, D.C." that he lives at the residence. The Post reported that an "elaborate swing set suitable for a toddler" was also spotted last year at the White House, prompting speculation that Hunter Biden’s three-year-old son and wife Melissa Cohen might be living there as well.
Hunter Biden has been locked in a messy child support dispute with Lunden Alexis Roberts, his former mistress, with whom he has a four-year-old daughter. An Arkansas judge ruled on Tuesday that Hunter Biden will have to attend a court hearing in person in May, and he is currently fighting a request by Roberts to change their daughter’s name to "Biden."
The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

Harken back to 20 January 2021 when the doddering fool who occupies the Bully Pulpit was inaugurated. He appointed Nicholas McQuaid, a White House lawyer during the Obama presidency, as Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division.
Why should we care? McQuaid was a colleague of Chris Clark, the lawyer Hunter Biden hired in December 2020 to assist with his federal tax problems. A month later Joe Biden appointed McQuaid to oversee the agency that began its investigation of Hunter's tax situation in 2018.

Because it has become current. As Matt Steib says, "It's Raining Hunter Biden News." Federal prosecutors have considered charging Hunter Biden with a felony count of tax evasion. That consideration is now causing frustration "within the FBI about the amount of time prosecutors are spending weighing possible criminal charges against first son Hunter Biden for alleged tax evasion."
In addition, an IRS whistleblower, a criminal supervisory special agent who has been overseeing an ongoing case involving Hunter Biden's tax returns, alleges that Hunter Biden got special treatment in the form of "political interference and improper handling of the case by the Biden administration."
The whistleblower is seeking protection so he can publicly testify to Congress. He says he has proof that Merrick Garland, Biden's AG, lied to Congress while under oath when he insisted the Hunter Biden investigation was free from political interference and that the attorney in charge had full autonomy.
Joe Biden dismissed the allegations that the investigation had been influenced by politics.
Here's another current Biden item. Recall, if you will, the infamous 'Russian Disinformation' letter, the one signed by fifty-one former intelligence types. Joe Biden's presidential campaign prompted former acting CIA Director Mike Morell to 'help Biden' by having fifty colleagues sign a letter falsely claiming that damning e-mails from Hunter Biden's laptop published by The NY Post were 'Russian disinformation.'
We learned, as of last Thursday, about the source of the letter. Former CIA deputy director Michael Morell (a potential CIA director under Biden), in private sworn testimony, told the House Judiciary Committee that Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, when serving as an adviser to papa Joe Biden's 2020 campaign, contacted the CIA after the contents of Hunter Biden's laptop were published in the NY Post on 17 October 2020. On the laptop was an email suggesting Hunter had introduced his Ukrainian business partner to his father, then-Vice President Biden. Morell testified that he invented the letter to help Vice President Biden... because I wanted him to win the election.' Until Blinken's call, Morell said had no intention of writing any letter exonerating Biden. But he acknowledged that the conversation with Blinken 'triggered... that intent.' The result of Blinken's contact was a letter from former intelligence officials saying the Post story had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation."
Morell gathered signatures from 51 former intelligence officials, including four other former CIA directors, two of whom were John Brennan and Leon Panetta. He then sent an email to Nick Shapiro (former deputy chief of staff to Brennan) that the Biden campaign desired the letter go to a particular reporter at the Washington Post, and to the Biden campaign as well. Shapiro subsequently took the letter to Politico, which published it on 19 October under the heading, 'Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former officials say.'
Aside: the Politico people are showing what hypocrites they are. They remain silent in the face of conclusive evidence they published incorrect information. Will they ever print a retraction? I'm not holding my breath.
The letter was used by Joe Biden during the debate with Donald Trump to stave off accusations (which, we have learned, were factual) about his involvement in his family's international influence-peddling schemes, many of which had amassed millions of dollars from China and Ukraine while he was vice president.
Morell testified that after the 22 October debate, Steve Ricchetti, chairman of the Biden campaign, phoned to thank him for writing the letter. The call was organized by fellow signatory Jeremy Bash (Leon Panetta's former chief of staff, now an MSNBC security analyst appointed by President Biden to a role on his Intelligence Advisory Board), "who I work with at Beacon [Beacon Global Strategies] and who is active politically."
Republicans in both houses were quite annoyed by Morell's disclosure. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), called the letter, "'a political operation' that 'became the basis for suppressing the story and keeping it from the American people just days before the most important election that we have, the election for president of the United States." He added, "It is apparent that the Biden campaign played an active role in the origins of the public statement, which had the effect of helping to suppress the Hunter Biden story and preventing American citizens from making a fully informed decision during the 2020 presidential election..."
The State Department has refused to comment about Morell's claim. Spokesman Vedant Patel said, "That is not a State Department issue."
Here's another bit of current Biden news. House Oversight Committee Chairman Representative James Comer (R-KY) said last Friday that, "...multiple members of the Biden family were involved in 'shady' overseas dealings and labeled them 'tax cheats.'" Comer continued, "...let me reiterate this: it's the Biden family. It's not just Hunter Biden and Joe Biden. It's multiple members of this family that have been receiving questionable sums of money for reasons that we haven't yet determined. But I can tell you, it's all pointing back to Joe Biden and as I said on Sean Hannity's show the other day, the walls are closing in on the Biden family. It's not just the president's son. Harken back to 20 January 2021 when the doddering fool who occupies the Bully Pulpit was inaugurated. He appointed Nicholas McQuaid, a White House lawyer during the Obama presidency, as Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division.
Why should we care? McQuaid was a colleague of Chris Clark, the lawyer Hunter Biden hired in December 2020 to assist with his federal tax problems. A month later Joe Biden appointed McQuaid to oversee the agency that began its investigation of Hunter's tax situation in 2018.

Because it has become current. As Matt Steib says, "It's Raining Hunter Biden News." Federal prosecutors have considered charging Hunter Biden with a felony count of tax evasion. That consideration is now causing frustration "within the FBI about the amount of time prosecutors are spending weighing possible criminal charges against first son Hunter Biden for alleged tax evasion."
In addition, an IRS whistleblower, a criminal supervisory special agent who has been overseeing an ongoing case involving Hunter Biden's tax returns, alleges that Hunter Biden got special treatment in the form of "political interference and improper handling of the case by the Biden administration."
The whistleblower is seeking protection so he can publicly testify to Congress. He says he has proof that Merrick Garland, Biden's AG, lied to Congress while under oath when he insisted the Hunter Biden investigation was free from political interference and that the attorney in charge had full autonomy.
Joe Biden dismissed the allegations that the investigation had been influenced by politics.
Here's another current Biden item. Recall, if you will, the infamous 'Russian Disinformation' letter, the one signed by fifty-one former intelligence types. Joe Biden's presidential campaign prompted former acting CIA Director Mike Morell to 'help Biden' by having fifty colleagues sign a letter falsely claiming that damning e-mails from Hunter Biden's laptop published by The NY Post were 'Russian disinformation.'
We learned, as of last Thursday, about the source of the letter. Former CIA deputy director Michael Morell (a potential CIA director under Biden), in private sworn testimony, told the House Judiciary Committee that Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, when serving as an adviser to papa Joe Biden's 2020 campaign, contacted the CIA after the contents of Hunter Biden's laptop were published in the NY Post on 17 October 2020. On the laptop was an email suggesting Hunter had introduced his Ukrainian business partner to his father, then-Vice President Biden. Morell testified that he invented the letter to help Vice President Biden... because I wanted him to win the election.' Until Blinken's call, Morell said had no intention of writing any letter exonerating Biden. But he acknowledged that the conversation with Blinken 'triggered... that intent.' The result of Blinken's contact was a letter from former intelligence officials saying the Post story had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation."
Morell gathered signatures from 51 former intelligence officials, including four other former CIA directors, two of whom were John Brennan and Leon Panetta. He then sent an email to Nick Shapiro (former deputy chief of staff to Brennan) that the Biden campaign desired the letter go to a particular reporter at the Washington Post, and to the Biden campaign as well. Shapiro subsequently took the letter to Politico, which published it on 19 October under the heading, 'Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former officials say.'
Aside: the Politico people are showing what hypocrites they are. They remain silent in the face of conclusive evidence they published incorrect information. Will they ever print a retraction? I'm not holding my breath.
The letter was used by Joe Biden during the debate with Donald Trump to stave off accusations (which, we have learned, were factual) about his involvement in his family's international influence-peddling schemes, many of which had amassed millions of dollars from China and Ukraine while he was vice president.
Morell testified that after the 22 October debate, Steve Ricchetti, chairman of the Biden campaign, phoned to thank him for writing the letter. The call was organized by fellow signatory Jeremy Bash (Leon Panetta's former chief of staff, now an MSNBC security analyst appointed by President Biden to a role on his Intelligence Advisory Board), "who I work with at Beacon [Beacon Global Strategies] and who is active politically."
Republicans in both houses were quite annoyed by Morell's disclosure. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), called the letter, "'a political operation' that 'became the basis for suppressing the story and keeping it from the American people just days before the most important election that we have, the election for president of the United States." He added, "It is apparent that the Biden campaign played an active role in the origins of the public statement, which had the effect of helping to suppress the Hunter Biden story and preventing American citizens from making a fully informed decision during the 2020 presidential election..."
The State Department has refused to comment about Morell's claim. Spokesman Vedant Patel said, "That is not a State Department issue."
Here's another bit of current Biden news. House Oversight Committee Chairman Representative James Comer (R-KY) said last Friday that, "...multiple members of the Biden family were involved in 'shady' overseas dealings and labeled them 'tax cheats.'" Comer continued, "...let me reiterate this: it's the Biden family. It's not just Hunter Biden and Joe Biden. It's multiple members of this family that have been receiving questionable sums of money for reasons that we haven't yet determined. But I can tell you, it's all pointing back to Joe Biden and as I said on Sean Hannity's show the other day, the walls are closing in on the Biden family. It's not just the president's son. It's the entire family, including the President of the United States."

During an appearance on Thursday’s broadcast of “The Ingraham Angle,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) expressed his approval of the House Republican investigations in the Biden family business dealings.
Cotton alleged Biden had used his office for financial benefit for 50 years.
“Laura, my main thoughts are I’m very glad that Jim Jordan, my old friend in the House, is the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, so he can get to the bottom of it because I don’t think Dick Durbin on the Senate Judiciary Committee is going to be probing, yes, but they’re very troubling reports that the IRS and the FBI had been thwarted from investigating Hunter Biden’s dealings which as you say, are not about Hunter Biden, a very troubled but private citizen,” he said. “They’re how the Biden family has been trading on Joe Biden’s public office for 50 years.”
“In other investigations, you have Jim Comer and his committee reviewing the suspicious activity reports that the treasury of money transfers involving the Biden family,” Cotton added. “Again, not just Hunter, but other members of the family. More troubling information appears to be coming out there that Joe Biden has been using his public office for 50 years to benefit his family. And he did it when he was a senator. And he did it when he was vice president. Do we really think he wouldn’t do it when he held the highest land in the office?”

Yet, wondrously, both the outside and the inside of Biden’s head remained largely empty. Transplanted hair somehow refused to grow on top of thoughtless terrain.
Biden famously stole entire speeches from foreign leaders while brazenly claiming a “brilliant” academic record and numerous other personal achievements. He testified about driving an 18-wheeler truck, about emerging straight out of a coal mine, about facing down a sinister gang leader named “Corn Pop.”
“Thou shalt bear false witness, as often as possible, especially if talking about yourself,” was Biden’s version of the ninth of the Ten Commandments. Clasping his heart, he swore he was a religious man who fondled women, who took showers with his daughter, and who allegedly sexually assaulted a staffer.
The people of Delaware, a former slave state, seemed enslaved to Biden’s “charm,” ignored his little faults. Delaware sent him back to the Senate time and again, and the fawning media covered over his transgressions with an “aw shucks, that’s just Joe being Joe” attitude.
In Washington where “seniority” and “senior moments” go together, Joe Biden became more powerful, a veritable institution. From the youngest senator, Biden rose to be chair of key Senate committees -- judiciary and international affairs. At public hearings, he often displayed ineptitude and downright ignorance, even showing racist views when questioning people like Clarence Thomas or Thomas Sowell.
Along the way, Senator Biden ran for president several times, and people laughed, until he fumbled his way to be Barack Obama’s vice president. The “experts” in the media -- you know, the chin pullers at NY Times, WaPo, CBS, CNN, NBC and ABC -- all assured us that Biden would be the “gray eminence” or “the mature foreign policy expertise” that would guide the young Obama. Not really.
President Obama was a complete foreign policy disaster, a Nobel Peace Prize winner who brought destruction everywhere he touched. Obama, encouraged by Biden, had a special message for the Mideast: chaos in Libya, cash and atomic bombs for Iran, Muslim Brothers in Egypt, outright destruction in Syria.
What foreign policy genius: Obama-Biden undermined America’s role in the Mideast and weakened our best ally Israel while ushering Russia into the region. That Nobel Peace Prize looks like a travesty to end all travesties: Hundreds of thousands of dead and millions of refugees flooding Europe.
But wait, there’s more: Obama-Biden undermined the U.S. in South America and emboldened China in Asia. Obama also encouraged the aggression of Vladimir Putin: we heard him on an open microphone.
To his credit, Obama did not listen to Biden when Joe the Foreign Policy Expert advised against killing Osama Bin-Laden. So give Obama credit for getting one thing right. Obama was also right about one other thing.
“Never underestimate Joe’s ability to f--- things up,” President Obama once privately said. “You know, Joe, you don’t have to do this (i.e. run for president),” Obama added, but Democrat “elders” grabbed Biden as their choice to prevent the nomination of Vermont’s leftist crypto-communist senator, Bernie Sanders.
So veteran congressman and power broker James Clyburn got Biden a victory in the 2020 South Carolina primary, and the party elders united around Biden, pushing other candidates out of the race. Meanwhile media aided the plan to keep “Good Ole Joe” under wraps at home, supposedly because of Covid-19 virus concerns.
Today, we all know the truth. No amount of censorship or tweaking at Twitter, Facebook, or Google can hide the amazing amount of hard evidence of Biden family corruption and Joe Biden’s personal mental disintegration.
From the computer of Hunter Biden and other sources, we know China and Ukraine have both invested in the Biden family. This cannot be hidden any longer. Similarly, Biden’s own personal decline cannot be hidden.
Despite the strained efforts of the main media. Biden rarely has a real workday, is unable to take two consecutive office appointments, is almost always on vacation or taking some down-time.
There are two central truths about Biden:
The man who cannot complete a sentence without lying is now the man who cannot complete a sentence.
The man who cannot go a day without lying is now someone who cannot go a day without lying down.
For Joe Biden, the signs of mental decline are clear, even for an idiot. So are the signs of overmedication.
So, full speed ahead, Democrats exult, as they announce they are off on the road to Chicago (with a scheduled pit stop at another South Carolina primary) just as a mass mob marauds downtown, attacking tourists.
So who will Biden and the Democrats meet destiny at their Appointment in Chicago? One thing is sure: those who count on the United States are preordained to a doleful destiny if the U.S. is led by the Donkey Party.

Report: Merrick Garland Identified as Official Misleading Congress in Hunter Biden Tax Probe
Attorney General Merrick Garland is the previously unidentified official who, according to an IRS whistleblower, misled Congress about the Justice Department’s probe into Hunter Biden, a report alleged Friday.
Garland refused to name a special counsel in Hunter’s tax investigation to provide a degree of separation between President Joe Biden and his Justice Department.

Garland has repeatedly testified before Congress that U.S. Attorney David Weiss has the “full authority” to make a criminal referral against Hunter without the permission of the Justice Department. Garland noted he would personally have to “authorize” any charges.
“There will not be interference of any political or improper kind” in the investigation of Hunter led by Weiss, Garland insisted in April 2022.
But the IRS whistleblower believes that Garland’s claims have misled Congress. The IRS agent’s attorney explained that his client can “contradict sworn testimony to Congress by a senior political appointee” — whom the New York Post identified as Garland.
As early as 2019, Hunter has been under investigation by Weiss, the Trump-appointed U.S. attorney for Delaware, for potential tax and gun violations. Yet no charges have been levied.
“There’s enough to indict Hunter Biden now, there was enough to indict Hunter Biden three or four years ago with what’s on the laptop,” House Oversight Committee chair James Comer (R-KY) exclaimed on Lou Dobbs’ podcast. “So for whatever reason, this U.S. attorney hasn’t produced very many results.”

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) told Breitbart News he believes Garland and Biden are culpable for the alleged abuses.
“Under President Biden and Attorney General Garland, America is not equally applying justice and the rule of law. They are both equally culpable and responsible for abuse alleged by the IRS whistleblower,” he said.
Hunter Biden’s lawyers will reportedly meet in coming days with U.S. prosecutor David Weiss and one Justice Department official after an IRS agent alleged the improper politicization of a tax probe into the president’s son — all while Attorney General Merrick Garland refuses to name a special counsel in the case.
As far back as May 2019, Hunter has been under investigation by the DOJ for tax fraud, money laundering, and violation of lobbying laws. Federal prosecutors, led by Weiss, have reportedly considered charging Hunter over a year ago for three tax crimes and one gun crime.
Though Hunter has so far avoided indictment, prosecutors could bring charges against him, sources familiar with the investigation told CNN. In the coming days, the case will be discussed between the DOJ, Weiss, and Hunter’s attorney, multiple sources familiar with the matter told CNN. Apparently Hunter’s lawyers called for the meeting.

The Democrats were in a bind, falling behind and looking to make a steal.
As the media and other Democrats salivate about Trump being charged with a crime in one of the many witch hunts, they should be asked some questions. They say he must be charged because we need election fairness and no one is above the law.
So here is a sample of what politicians and bureaucrats have done in the last 12 years, and I wonder what people think is the bigger threat and who was actually above the law.
The Obama IRS targeting political opponents in an effort to silence them before elections.
It was a clear violation of the First Amendment, yet every participant of the government was above the law. They destroyed computers and lied to Congress, but the Justice Department let them off.
The U.S. Justice Department has reached a settlement with dozens of conservative groups that claimed the Internal Revenue Service unfairly scrutinized them based on their political leanings when they sought a tax-exempt status, court documents showed.
The Justice Department was involved from the start.
The documents prove that Lois Lerner met with DOJ’s Election Crimes Division a month before the 2010 elections.
It has to be embarrassing to the DOJ, which may not be the most impartial one to be investigating the IRS. In fact, the DOJ withheld over 800 pages of Lerner documents citing "taxpayer privacy" and "deliberative privilege." Yet these internal DOJ documents show Ms. Lerner was talking to DOJ officials about prosecuting tax-exempt entities (yes, criminally!) two years before the IRS conceded there was inappropriate targeting.
It sure helps a criminal when a biased political supporter conducts the pretend investigation.
It looks like the Biden IRS is still targeting political enemies instead of doing their job. I have been a CPA for 46 years and not once have I seen a house call. Should we trust the IRS with 87,000 more agents?

The media and other Democrats knew there was no evidence of illegality or collusion, yet the stories persisted for years for the sole purpose of destroying a President whom they disagreed with.
The government, journalists, and former intelligence officials colluded to bury the story of Biden family corruption specifically to hide the truth before an election. Biden didn't pay anybody to squelch the story. They did it because they were actively campaigning for him.
Hunter's business partner visited the White House sixteen times while Joe was VP yet somehow the media, who say they care about facts and corruption, still don't care. Democrats also pretend that Joe is telling the truth when he said he never had anything to do with Hunter's business deal and that he and his family never received money from foreign sources.
Isn't it time that journalists and other Democrats stopped intentionally misleading the public that they believe the Justice Department is impartial and that no one is above the law. It is such an obvious lie -- yet none of the people pretending to be fact checkers call them out because they are just as dishonest.

David Huberman, a senior official within the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), has accused authoritarian governments across the globe of looking to fracture the Internet in the hopes of controlling people.
Legally registered as an NGO, ICANN is responsible for making the international system of IP addresses function correctly, with the organisation describing itself as being “dedicated to keeping the Internet secure, stable and interoperable”.
Those within the organisation are now claiming that authoritarian governments are starting to get in the way of this goal, with Huberman telling the Cloudfest industry meeting in Germany that some states now aim to cut up the Internet in order to better control their populations.
“The potential fragmentation of the Internet is a worrying topic,” Der Spiegelreports the expert as saying, before discussing the impact that such governments could have on the Internet.
“They are authoritarian governments that want to control their people,” he said.
Although Huberman did not name any individual nation-states in particular as being involved in this effort to undermine the net, the report published by Der Spiegel goes on to name China, Iran, and Russia as being the three countries tech experts are primarily focused on.
However, many governments in the West are also now jumping on the bandwagon of splitting off and censoring the Internet, with authorities in the United Kingdom and European Union in particular now regularly taking potshots at the free transmission of information online.
Authorities in Brussels have so far been the most active in forcing Internet censorship on the people, blocking its citizens from accessing a number of Russian news outlets online in March last year.
Such material can now only be accessed by those residing within the bloc through use of a virtual private network (VPN), similar to how those living within Communist China must use such services to access many Western websites and media outlets.
Politicians in the United Kingdom appear to be just as keen on implementing widespread Internet censorship, with the country’s planned Online Safety Bill set to hand regulators widespread powers to force social media firms to censor content deemed to problematic.
As of the time of writing, such targets of censorship will range from already highly illegal content such as child pornography to perfectly legal material that simply upsets the progressive sensibilities of those ruling Britain.
The planned censorship regime has been widely panned by various tech firms as being set to end Internet privacy in the UK, with the bill set to render end-to-end encryption effectively illegal by mandating chat apps spy on their userbase using AI to make sure they are not doing anything illegal.
Multiple apps, including Signal and WhatsApp, have now threatened that they will withdraw their services entirely from the country should the bill become law, saying that the measures would completely compromise security and privacy on their platforms.
I never thought I’d be thanking an ex-Democrat former congresswoman and presidential candidate for telling the truth, exposing the evil Democrat agenda and saving the GOP. But former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard just broke the mold.

Gabbard didn’t just say something short, sweet and meaningless, like “I’m not leaving the Democrat Party; the party left me.” She stuck a sword through their heart like a hero killing a monster. She destroyed the Democrat Party like no former Democrat officeholder has in history. She explained in detail their radical agenda.
Gabbard’s exit speech read like a Donald Trump or Wayne Allyn Root stump speech. She called Democrats an elitist cabal.
She admitted they have weaponized the government against conservatives.
She blames Democrats for wanting to kill free speech and send their political opponents to prison.
She reported Democrats are anti-white — in other words, she admitted Democrats are racists who hate white people.
She said Democrats are hostile to people of faith — and want to take away our God-given freedoms.
She admitted Democrats have purposely opened the borders to destroy America.
She reported Democrats hate and demonize the police and openly protect and support criminals.
She said Democrats are a cabal of warmongers intent on starting World War III and bringing us purposely to the brink of nuclear war.
She said Democrats don’t believe in government of, by and for the people, but rather a government of, by and for the powerful elite.
She warned of the woke direction these radical, extreme idealogues are taking our country.
And then she added in a media interview that Democrats are ushering in the “normalization of pedophilia.”
All true. But… WOW. My jaw is on the floor. No former high-level Democrat official has ever said these words in history.
I’ve reported and warned about every one of these threats to our country for many years. So, what’s the significance of Gabbard saying these same things?
No. 1: She is the first Democrat congresswoman and former Democrat presidential candidate to ever admit any of this. That’s credibility.
No. 2: She is giving an “insider” account of what is happening in the Democrat Party at the highest levels. She is a witness. She proves what I’ve always warned: These are not mistakes, ignorance or incompetence. This is all a purposeful, planned, coordinated, radical, extreme, communist, globalist, fascist attack on America.
No. 3: Her words should embolden moderate and RINO Republicans to tell the truth about how bad this attack on America really is — 99% of Republican candidates have never gone this far, never used words like this. They are cowards, scared of their own shadows. They’re worried about what the media would say about them. Hopefully Gabbard’s words will embolden (or shame) them to start telling the raw truth about what what’s really happening to America. Gabbard gives them cover.
No. 4: Gabbard’s brave words and action could inspire moderate, non-insane Democrats like Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona to leave the Democrat Party to become either Republicans or independents.
My hope is that Tulsi Gabbard is the canary in the coal mine. She is the model. She has started a trend. She has started a tsunami away from the radical, insane, extreme, America-hating Democrat Party.
Gabbard then backed up her words by immediately endorsing two MAGA, America-First Republican candidates: Joe Kent for Congress in Washington and GOP Senate candidate Dan Bolduc in New Hampshire. I don’t know if Gabbard is officially joining the GOP, but it’s a darn good start!

Biden family’s business dealings are incredibly ‘scary’: Rep. Jordan
According to the avalanche of posts by reporters Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss, and writer Michael Shellenberger, to whom new Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk provided access to internal communications, Twitter massively “shadow-banned,” restricted and even flat-out blocked access to conservatives and conservative content.
So, how does the anti-Donald Trump and the anti-conservative Left ignore and even justify this nefarious practice? How do they completely ignore real “election interference” and this blatant attack to manipulate information to alter what we read, how we think and how we vote?
One defender wrote: “So it’s just occurring to so called conservative ‘intellectuals’ that private companies have internal memos discussing business practices. Amazing.”
The same leftists who dismiss the Twitter expose on the grounds that “it’s a private company” see no problem using government to compel a private company to provide health insurance, minimum wage, racial diversity and sensitivity training, paid medical and family leave or to require at least one female on its Board of Directors (a California law that was struck down as unconstitutional promptly followed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom signing another bill that requires at least one member of the “disadvantaged” community to be on the board of a private publicly held company, headquartered in California.)
It’s one thing to suppress conservative content and conservatives, it’s another not to tell them — and it’s another level of evil to deny that they do it. Fox News writes: “CEO Jack Dorsey and top Twitter employees, as well as members of the liberal media, have repeatedly claimed over the years that the social media company did not ‘shadow ban’ users or secretly censor conservative accounts.
“Yet, the second installment of the ‘Twitter Files’ released Thursday (Dec. 8) revealed a comprehensive system and internal communications in which the social media site created SECRET (emphasis added) ‘blacklists’ that applied to certain users and tweets, many of which leaned right politically.”
Consider this July 2018 statement by Twitter product lead Kayvon Beykpour and Twitter lawyer Vijaya Gadde who said “we do not shadow ban”: “You are always able to see the tweets from accounts you follow (although you may have to do more work to find them, like go directly to their profile). And we certainly don’t shadow ban based on political viewpoints or ideology.”
In August 2018, in an interview with Fox’s Sean Hannity, Twitter founder, then-owner and CEO Jack Dorsey was adamant: “We do not shadow ban according to political ideology or viewpoint or content. Period.”
Dorsey, in a 2018 interview with CNN’s media critic Brian Stelter, was equally emphatic: “Are we doing something according to political ideology or viewpoints? And we are not. Period. We do not look at content with regards to political viewpoint. We look at behavior.”
In September 2018, Dorsey appeared before the House Energy and Commerce Committee where this exchange took place:
Rep. Mike Doyle, D-Penn.: “I want to read a few quotes about Twitter’s practices and I just want you to tell me if they’re true or not. Social media is being rigged to censor conservatives. Is that true of Twitter?”
Dorsey: “No.”
Doyle: “Are you censoring people?”
Dorsey: “No.”
Doyle: “Twitter’s shadow-banning prominent Republicans … is that true?”
Dorsey: “No.”
Journalist and author Glenn Greenwald tweeted: “The list of prominent conservative US/Western elected officials, journalists, authors, etc. banned by Big Tech is very long.
“No establishment left-liberal voice ever is.
“To deny Big Tech censorship targets conservatives requires pathological lying.
“Name the comparable Dems?”
Given that much of Left/Dems/liberal media/Hollywood/academia/Big Tech think of most conservatives — to quote Biden — as “semi-fascists,” they view suppression of conservatives and conservative content on social media as an act of patriotism.
But on one level, this corroboration that social media suppresses conservative content and therefore stifles the exchange of differing ideas and opinion is good news. This means that the American Left is not quite as blind on many issues as conservatives think. The American Left cannot know what they are prevented from knowing by those who believe they know better.
White House Deflects Allegations of Hunter Biden Tax Probe Interference, Says DOJ Is Independent

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Thursday deflected allegations that the Biden administration interfered in an ongoing probe into Hunter Biden’s potential tax violations.
“The president has always been clear during the campaign, during his presidency that the Department of Justice should have independence; they should not be politicized,” Jean-Pierre said during a White House press briefing. “And they should be able to do their job independently, essentially.”
“The president respects the rule of law and the independence of the Department of Justice,” she added.
Hunter is under investigation by the DOJ for tax fraud, money laundering, and violation of lobbying laws. For months, Trump-appointed U.S. prosecutor David Weiss has been weighing if there is sufficient evidence for the grand jury to indict him. But no charges have been forthcoming.
On Wednesday, an IRS whistleblower alleged two Biden administration political appointees within the Justice Department are working to block charges against Hunter for tax violations against recommendations.
Moreover, Weiss allegedly asked to be named as special counsel in the probe to provide a degree of separation between the probe and Joe Biden. That request was apparently turned down.
In March, Garland insisted Weiss has the authority to bring charges against Hunter. However, Garland additionally noted he would personally have to authorize any potential charges.
“The criminal probe of Hunter Biden directly affects Garland’s boss. This is a coverup,” Mike Davis, founder and president of the pro-Trump Article III Project and former Chief Counsel for Nominations to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, told Breitbart News.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) told Breitbart News that both Joe Biden and Garland are culpable for the alleged abuse.
“Under President Biden and Attorney General Garland, America is not equally applying justice and the rule of law. They are both equally culpable and responsible for abuse alleged by the IRS whistleblower,” he said.
House Republicans have vowed to investigate the claims. “This is absolutely something that Chairman Jordan will look at,” a House Judiciary Committee spokesperson told Breitbart News.
Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) told Breitbart News he has been wondering why the DOJ has not charged Hunter in the tax probe. The grand jury appears to have convened as far back as May 2019, a confidential subpoena served to JPMorgan Chase bank reveals.
“We’ve been wondering all along where the heck the DOJ and the IRS have been. Now it appears the Biden Administration may have been working overtime to prevent the Bidens from facing any consequences,” Comer said. “The House Oversight Committee will work to hold accountable anyone in the Biden Administration who may be covering up this criminal activity.”
Federal prosecutors reportedly considered charging Hunter Biden over a year ago for three tax crimes and one gun crime — charges allegedly blocked by two Biden administration political appointees within the Justice Department.
The charges against the president’s son are two misdemeanor counts for failure to file taxes, one felony count of tax evasion related to a business expensefor one year of taxes, and one felony gun charge related to a gun purchase, two senior law enforcement familiar with the matter told NBC News.
The two sources also complained about “growing frustration” inside the FBI because the investigation into Hunter was mostly completed about a year ago. A third source told NBC News the IRS finished its probe over a year ago.

House Committee on Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) on Tuesday issued a final letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken demanding all documents and information related to Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry’s role within the Biden Administration.
Since 2021, Republicans have questioned what duties and responsibilities Kerry actually holds.
On three separate occasions, Comer has requested Blinken provide transparency about Kerry’s role, but those requests have been ignored. Blinken’s failure to provide the requested information has caused Comer to threaten a subpoena.
Blinken and Kerry have had a long working relationship. Blinken was deputy secretary of state under Secretary of State Kerry during the Obama administration. During those years, Kerry’s stepson, Chris Heinz, was a business associate of Hunter Biden’s. Heinz partnered with Hunter Biden in a Chinese investment firm, BHR Partners. Heinz allegedly parted ways with Hunter Biden after the president’s son took the position on Burisma’s board.

Joe Biden and Kerry have also had a long relationship in Washington, DC. Joe Biden and Kerry served in the Senate together for two decades. Kerry was the chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee when Joe Biden became vice president.
In 2020, Biden named Kerry as his climate envoy, a position of Cabinet rank that comes with access to both the State Department and the White House, where he is a part of the National Security Council.
“As we previously wrote, Envoy Kerry is engaging in activities that skirt congressional authority, threaten foreign policy under the guise of climate advocacy, and could undermine our economic health,” Comer wrote to Blinken.
“Yet, Envoy Kerry and his office are refusing to be transparent about their activities, spending, and staffing with the Committee—and the American people,” Comer added.
All documents and communications regarding elements of the FY21, FY22, and FY23 budgets of the SPEC [Special Presidential Envoy for Climate], including those discussed off the record;
A list of all individuals present at any discussions where elements of the FY21, FY22, and FY23 budgets of the SPEC were discussed, whether on or off the record;
A full list, including names, titles, and salaries of all individuals currently and previously employed by the office of the SPEC, as well as all ethics and financial disclosures of those individuals;
All documents and communications between any individual or individuals within the office of the SPEC and any third party, including but not limited to any environmental advocacy group or foreign government official; and
All documents and communications regarding domestic and international travel of the SPEC.
“If the Department refuses to produce documents and information on this matter, the Committee will have to consider other means, including compulsory process,” Comer added.

Harken back to 20 January 2021 when the doddering fool who occupies the Bully Pulpit was inaugurated. He appointed Nicholas McQuaid, a White House lawyer during the Obama presidency, as Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division.
Why should we care? McQuaid was a colleague of Chris Clark, the lawyer Hunter Biden hired in December 2020 to assist with his federal tax problems. A month later Joe Biden appointed McQuaid to oversee the agency that began its investigation of Hunter's tax situation in 2018.
Does Joe's timing look suspicious? Do you think McQuaid influenced the Hunter Biden tax investigation? Why revisit this issue?
Because it has become current. As Matt Steib says, "It's Raining Hunter Biden News." Federal prosecutors have considered charging Hunter Biden with a felony count of tax evasion. That consideration is now causing frustration "within the FBI about the amount of time prosecutors are spending weighing possible criminal charges against first son Hunter Biden for alleged tax evasion."
In addition, an IRS whistleblower, a criminal supervisory special agent who has been overseeing an ongoing case involving Hunter Biden's tax returns, alleges that Hunter Biden got special treatment in the form of "political interference and improper handling of the case by the Biden administration."
The whistleblower is seeking protection so he can publicly testify to Congress. He says he has proof that Merrick Garland, Biden's AG, lied to Congress while under oath when he insisted the Hunter Biden investigation was free from political interference and that the attorney in charge had full autonomy.
Joe Biden dismissed the allegations that the investigation had been influenced by politics.
Here's another current Biden item. Recall, if you will, the infamous 'Russian Disinformation' letter, the one signed by fifty-one former intelligence types. Joe Biden's presidential campaign prompted former acting CIA Director Mike Morell to 'help Biden' by having fifty colleagues sign a letter falsely claiming that damning e-mails from Hunter Biden's laptop published by The NY Post were 'Russian disinformation.'
We learned, as of last Thursday, about the source of the letter. Former CIA deputy director Michael Morell (a potential CIA director under Biden), in private sworn testimony, told the House Judiciary Committee that Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, when serving as an adviser to papa Joe Biden's 2020 campaign, contacted the CIA after the contents of Hunter Biden's laptop were published in the NY Post on 17 October 2020. On the laptop was an email suggesting Hunter had introduced his Ukrainian business partner to his father, then-Vice President Biden. Morell testified that he invented the letter to help Vice President Biden... because I wanted him to win the election.' Until Blinken's call, Morell said had no intention of writing any letter exonerating Biden. But he acknowledged that the conversation with Blinken 'triggered... that intent.' The result of Blinken's contact was a letter from former intelligence officials saying the Post story had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation."
Morell gathered signatures from 51 former intelligence officials, including four other former CIA directors, two of whom were John Brennan and Leon Panetta. He then sent an email to Nick Shapiro (former deputy chief of staff to Brennan) that the Biden campaign desired the letter go to a particular reporter at the Washington Post, and to the Biden campaign as well. Shapiro subsequently took the letter to Politico, which published it on 19 October under the heading, 'Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former officials say.'
Aside: the Politico people are showing what hypocrites they are. They remain silent in the face of conclusive evidence they published incorrect information. Will they ever print a retraction? I'm not holding my breath.
The letter was used by Joe Biden during the debate with Donald Trump to stave off accusations (which, we have learned, were factual) about his involvement in his family's international influence-peddling schemes, many of which had amassed millions of dollars from China and Ukraine while he was vice president.
Morell testified that after the 22 October debate, Steve Ricchetti, chairman of the Biden campaign, phoned to thank him for writing the letter. The call was organized by fellow signatory Jeremy Bash (Leon Panetta's former chief of staff, now an MSNBC security analyst appointed by President Biden to a role on his Intelligence Advisory Board), "who I work with at Beacon [Beacon Global Strategies] and who is active politically."
Republicans in both houses were quite annoyed by Morell's disclosure. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), called the letter, "'a political operation' that 'became the basis for suppressing the story and keeping it from the American people just days before the most important election that we have, the election for president of the United States." He added, "It is apparent that the Biden campaign played an active role in the origins of the public statement, which had the effect of helping to suppress the Hunter Biden story and preventing American citizens from making a fully informed decision during the 2020 presidential election..."
The State Department has refused to comment about Morell's claim. Spokesman Vedant Patel said, "That is not a State Department issue."
Here's another bit of current Biden news. House Oversight Committee Chairman Representative James Comer (R-KY) said last Friday that, "...multiple members of the Biden family were involved in 'shady' overseas dealings and labeled them 'tax cheats.'" Comer continued, "...let me reiterate this: it's the Biden family. It's not just Hunter Biden and Joe Biden. It's multiple members of this family that have been receiving questionable sums of money for reasons that we haven't yet determined. But I can tell you, it's all pointing back to Joe Biden and as I said on Sean Hannity's show the other day, the walls are closing in on the Biden family. It's not just the president's son. It's the entire family, including the President of the United States."
Again, why should we care about these shenanigans? Because these are three more episodes in an ever-widening and never-ending pattern of corruption and influence-peddling from Biden, his family, and his administration.

Comer: There’s Not Going to Be Anybody Left for a Biden Christmas Picture if the DOJ Did Its Job
During an appearance on FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, suggested jail time was warranted for the Biden family’s alleged misdeeds.
He told host Maria Bartiromo the Department of Justice was not doing its job investigating the Biden family.
“So, the lawyers for Hunter Biden meeting with the DOJ this upcoming week,” Bartiromo said. “Do you expect Hunter Biden to get indicted? Do you expect other family members to have a target on their back or not? Or will this DOJ just ignore it all?”
“Well, they’re in a pickle here, especially now with the IRS whistleblower,” Comer replied. “I mean, there’s no rhyme or reason why Hunter Biden shouldn’t have been indicted years ago, even before the last presidential election. But one of the challenges that I have learned that the Department of J[ustice], if there are any legitimate, serious people left in the DOJ that are really trying to do the right thing, is, what do you do with this many family members of the president?”
“I mean, there’s not going to be anybody left for a Christmas picture if the DOJ did their job and went in there and indicted everyone that has any type of fingerprints involved in this influence peddling scheme,” he continued. “I mean, it’s the entire family.”
President Joe Biden said during his trip to Ireland that he is “proud” of his son Hunter and sister Valerie Biden Owens — both of whom are key players in the family influence peddling operation currently under multiple investigations.
“I’m here with my sister, Valerie, and my younger son, Hunter Biden,” Biden said. “Stand up, guys. I’m proud of you.”

Both Valerie and Hunter Biden are key associates in Biden’s international business schemes. While much has been reported on Hunter, Valerie is a lesser-known character. Yet both have worked in the family enterprise, as Breitbart News reported.
Valerie is chair of the Biden Institute at the University of Delaware. The institution received more than $6.7 million in anonymous donations from China, including direct funding from the Chinese government — all after Joe Biden set up a program under his name.
Email exchanges between Valerie, Hunter, and business associates show the Biden family planned to cash in on the family name at the university’s Biden Institute, Breitbart News reported in March. The emails also reveal the business partners discussing ways to carefully distance Joe from financial documents outlining the deal.
This is not the first time Joe Biden has brought family members abroad. In particular, Hunter took 411 trips across 29 countries between 2009 and the middle of 2014, according to Secret Service travel records obtained by Judicial Watch.
One of those trips was to Beijing, China, in 2013. Ten days after the visit to China, Hunter secured a ten percent interest in BHR Partners, a Chinese state-backed investment fund.
Hunter has divested his ten percent interest in the fund, his lawyer claimed in November 2021. The business license for Hunter’s company, founded in Washington, DC, which holds the ten percent stake in BHR Partners, Skaneateles LLC, was revoked upon dissolution in September 2021, many months after Joe Biden assumed office.
